🤦🏻‍♀️Hyperpigmentation Around The Mouth🙅🏻‍♀️
🤦🏻‍♀️Hyperpigmentation Around The Mouth🙅🏻‍♀️
You have got great skin. But the one thing that stops you from stepping out naturally without any makeup is the dark skin around your mouth. Is this true? You have tried everything from DIYs to skin lightening creams. But the pigmentation around your mouth has remained your stubborn friend, right Why Is The Skin Around My Mouth Dark? 1. Hyperpigmentation 2. Weather Conditions Sun exposure and darkening of the skin. In very cold weather, if you lick your lips and the area around it too often, it can discolour the skin and make it look darker How Do You Get Rid Of Hyperpigmentation Around The Mouth? 1. Exfoliate If you exfoliate the area around your mouth regularly with a gentle exfoliator, it can remove dead cells and help to lighten the skin. Opt for a chemical exfoliant as it will not scrape the skin which in turn may worsen the condition. 2. OTC Skin-Brightening Creams Skin brightening creams can be effective in reducing the dark area around the mouth. Look for ingredients such as glabridin (a licorice extract), kojic acid, vitamin C, grape seed extract, azelaic acid , arbutin, curcumin or niacinamide, These block the production of tyrosinase which is needed by the skin to make melanin. 3. Acid Peels Your dermatologist may use a salicylic acid or glycolic acid peel to treat the dark skin around your mouth. However, these peels do not offer a permanent solution and the pigmentation can return. These peels penetrate deep into the skin to repair the damaged cells. Post treatment precautions like staying out of the sun, applying sunscreen and protecting the skin can make the effect of the peels last longer 6. Natural Remedies You can also use natural remedies to treat the dark skin around your mouth. Most of these natural ingredients can be found in your kitchen. Unless you have an allergy to any of these, you can try using them to get rid of the pigmented skin. Exfoliate with Papaya Papaya has fruit acids known as alpha-hydroxy acids, which is a chemical exfoliantAHAs are used for dry skin and to anti-age, and works to improve skin by removing the top layers of the skin through weakening the lipids that bond them together, thus removing dull and dead skin cells and revealing healthy skin cells. Soothe Skin and Reduce Spots with Almond Oil The presence of Vitamin E and niacin help with hyperpigmentation and improving skin tone,” she says. Because sweet almond oil is non-comedogenic (meaning it won’t clog your pores) you can add it to your nightly routine as a makeup remover or moisturizer to help protect the skin barrier. Reverse Photo Damage with Tomatoes Tomatoes are naturally rich in lycopene, which has multiple health benefits, including sun protection Brighten with Yogurt breaks down dead skin cells thanks to lactic acid, which is found naturally in dairy products. Using a yogurt with cow’s milk could be effective in calming the skin, since it has lactic acid. Lactic acid is an AHA, which improves discoloration and age spots

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2%
The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA - Review🦋 🦋Description: Alpha Arbutin reduces the looks of spots and hyper-pigmentation. It’s used at a high 2% concentration versus a standard concentration of 1% and supported with a next-generation form of Hyaluronic Acid for enhanced delivery. Alpha Arbutin is much stronger in effect than Arbutin or Beta Arbutin. 🦋My Thoughts: After read so many good reviews and people kept raving about this serum, I finally bought it. I already finished this one bottle, and eventhough at first I was almost disappointed with this serum but I kept on using and after awhile this serum has caught my heart.😂 First 2 weeks, eventhough this serum is not an acid. I had a little bit of bad reaction / redness. I stopped using it for a week and then i brave myself to continue. Oh dear, I can see my skin brighten and hydrates. The texture is clear and I would say a bit thick. I can see my old scars faded and my skin tone improved. A good booster to my snail serum too! Or maybe the snail serum is a good booster for this😂 And I love the simple and minimalist packaging!❤️

Starting the new year with easily the best treatment I discovered in 2020! #theordinaryskincare range from deciem is so great at democratising skincare as they provide affordable and quality skincare products. The combination of The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA and The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% #serums have been great at reducing my #hyperpigmentation #pores and acne. Though it does take 8 weeks to show results so #gottabepatient. This is a part of my morning routine and I always follow it up with moisturiser and sunscreen. I have been using this for a couple of months now and I love how my skin changing for the better. Have you been using these products? Would love to hear your experiences about them!

The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA gel like serum to reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven skintone . The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucosise 12%- skin brightening serum containing a vitamin C derivative. I started using this around 3-4 months ago to try to brighten the acne scars on my cheeks from years ago and the red scar on my left cheek. (Scary pictures included 😅). I used this daily in the mornings! The scar is from my son dropping a 5 pound weight on my face, while I was laying down during a workout around 9 mo ago. 🏋️‍♀️ The serums felt sticky upon application but no issues with breaking out, irritation or piling with other skincare products. I noticed a slight brightening improvement on my cheeks with the acne marks. A lot of the healing from the accident happened on its own. It did not completely brighten the red mark on my left cheek-still red. Will I be re-purchasing? Most likely not- I’m tired of putting those two on everyday. I mostly just want the scar now brightened, and I will need to see a dermatologist. I’m almost done with the bottles, and I will be looking for a higher end vitamin C to add onto my routine.

About a year ago I banged my ankle on one of those stupid bird scooter things and it immediately swelled up and bruised in the worst possible way. I think it took a full 6 months before it stopped hurting and the bruising went down but a year later I still had what I would describe as a bruise shadow. I don't know if there's a technical term for it, but its a noticeable dark spot that just would not go away. Anyway, earlier this year I accidentally bought some Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA from the Ordinary because it had been shelved wrong at Ulta. I tried it on my face and within a month it had evened out my freckles which always come out in full force in the summer. I was actually blown away at how well it worked on my face I decided to try it on a few dark spots on my legs, including this bruise. The only skin I'm really self conscious about besides my face is my lower legs. Over the years I've hacked them to sh*t hiking, climbing, running, and doing crazy outdoor stuff so my legs are covered in spots and scars. Since I was done using the AA 2% + HA on my face I figured why not try it on my legs. Within a month of spotty use I feel like I'm actually seeing the bruise shadow fade! I never really considered using TO stuff on other spots on my body, but because it's so inexpensive I really don't feel bad experimenting with it and I'm pretty stoked that it seems to be working. Might be worth a shot if you struggle with spots elsewhere on your body as well. Full routine out of the shower daily: 1. The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA one drop on each spot on my legs, rub in and wait for it to dry. 2. DERMELECT - Runway Ready Luxury Foot Treatment on my feet and ankles Love this.... makes my feet look post-pedi every day! Also fragrance free! 3. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin on my legs all the way up to my waist. 4. PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Oil With Vitamin E over the CeraVe. Another game changer, I feel like it gives my legs a little glow without being in the sun.
