Sharing another deciem product
Sharing another deciem product that works well for me. The Ordinary’s Salicylic Acid 2% Solution has done wonders for my skin. It treats my acne quickly & doesn’t irritate my face.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s a bit thicker than I expected when I first bought it. This is my second bottle. I was also surprised at how well it layered with the other products in my routine. 🙌🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m not the biggest Ordinary fan but there’s a few products that I will buy on repeat & this one tops the list! 👏🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Swipe left to see more of this wonderful product! ⬅️

A quick post on my The Ordinar
A quick post on my The Ordinary items. I have been using since August 2018. 💡 The Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 2% was recommended to me as a way to fight against congested pores (something i suffer with on my chin). This worked great and achieved all the right results (less congestion / cleaner pores!! ) but it definitely didnt work in combination with other oils, or my morning routine of multiple facial products. It flaked. Using it once a day, at night after a cleanser and before moisturizer was enough to get results without flaky, peeling product. I don’t use it when I use my night oil. 💡The Salicylic acid 2% solution I use for individual spots. its the same ingredient which can be found in the clean and clear cleanser I use. It dissolves skin debris that clogs the pores! As with all acids less is more...as it could dry out and over sensitize the skin. I dab on spots and dont use at times when skin is clear. it is v. effective. 💡The Azelaic acid suspension I got on a whim. it helps to reduce inflammation, fights acne and rosacea, & helps with skin pigmentation.. none of which I have atm. but the package claimed it would refine the skin's surface, and reveal a more even skin tone, so im trying it as I have some broken vein capillaries on my cheeks that can sometimes look red! no results yet.. but its early days. i like it enough to keep using it until it runs out.

my skin recently had a meltdow
my skin recently had a meltdown from all of the product testing I’ve been doing recently, so I took a few days to simplify my routine. I feel that sometimes we can overcompensate and make matters worse when we break out, so I'm using these three products as my main treatments while I wait for my skin to calm down⁣ ⁣ @deciem The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution is my holiest of grails, it really goes deep into the skin to clear out congestion and grime, and it has done wonders for my nose and chin. This is my second bottle and I'm already halfway through!⁣⁣ It is viscous but spreadable and I like it as both a spot treatment and an overall serum. At under $6US, this is a total win for me. 5/5 will repurchase over and over again ⁣ @deciem The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is another one of my skincare heroes, it really resurfaces my skin and leaves me with a brighter, softer, smoother complexion⁣.⁣ Another affordable find ($8.70 for 8oz!!!) with so much product it’ll last you a long time even with consistent use. 5/5 this is my favorite standalone glycolic acid product! ⁣ @cosrx Two-in-One Poreless Power Liquid is what I've been using lately to manage my easily congested t-zone using willow bark water, betaine salicylate and tannin. I actually prefer their BHA blackhead power liquid to this one, but I left that at a friends house so this has been nice in the meantime and I appreciate the ingredients. Both of these products are almost as thin as water which I love because it makes it easy to slip them into a routine without worrying that other products will pill up on top. I’d rate the two-in-one poreless power liquid a 3.5/5 just because it hasn’t CHANGED my skin but it also hasn’t hurt it, and the BHA liquid gets a 5/5! I compare it to Paula’s choice 2% (another one of my recent favorites!)

Before I drown myself in schoo
Before I drown myself in school work, I wanted to share what I use for my acne. I don’t get too many breakouts, usually only during my time of month, so these are the products that I use. I’m fairly new to pimple patches so I don’t know how to truly feel about them yet.. but so far I think they help reduce the size of my pimples and prevent them from getting irritated throughout the day/night. I use the salicylic acid and benzagel as spot treatments and they mostly just dry out my pimples which basically prevents them from getting worse.

Good serum/spot treatment for the price
Good serum/spot treatment for the price
This serum contains 2% salicylic acid (BHA) to help to clean out your pores. This can be used as a spot treatment, as well as an overall serum for people who struggle with congested skin and acne. It is a thicker serum that can leave the skin feeling tacky after. Overall, this definitely delivers in terms of results, but I’m not a fan of the texture. Granted, this product only costs $6, but it doesn’t absorb well and leaves the skin feeling tacky and sticky. There are better formulated products out there with the same key ingredient, but I would recommend this for people starting out with BHAs, because it is cheap so if you aren’t a fan of salicylic acid, you know not to invest in more expensive versions. I give it a 4/5 because it works well for cleaning pores, but I don’t like the texture. It is definitely cheap though, so worth it for the price. The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Solution

Night time routine
Night time routine
Here is my full night routine! A huge part of it is The Ordinary and so far all of the products I’ve used I love! Skin wise I’ve always suffered with random breakouts on my cheeks and chin along with small bumps along my forehead. My other problem was my skin looked smooth but whenever I would wear makeup it would look very cakey and textured which really made me hate wearing face makeup. I’ve used this routine for about 3 months now and the results are amazing. I still get a hormonal pimple here and there but for the most part I don’t break out and my skin is suuuper smooth and hydrated. Another problem I had was really dark under eyes. Closer to the bottom corners of my eyes my skin was basically purple but now they are slowly but surely lightening up. Below is a list of the products I use and why I use them! Face Wash Simple - Micellar Gel Wash Toner DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner Treatments To shrink pores and help balance oil production The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Mild chemical exfoliant used every other night The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Solution Helps stay moisturized The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Dark under eyes The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Moisturizer FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream
