🥴Skin Concern: Redness/Blotchiness🥴
🥴Skin Concern: Redness/Blotchiness🥴
Something that I have been struggling with since I was small and still am is reddness and Blotchiness. I have sensitive combination skin. My t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My cheeks seem to ALWAYS be red and blotchy and I hate it😫. I have always tried to find products that can deal with the redness but I never went out of my way to get something that targeted redness. I got my hands on this product thanks to a Cherie giveaway and was super excited to try it as soon as I got it❤️. Theskinfix - Barrier+ Foaming Oil Cleanser claims to improve visible redness and hydration overnight. It also targest makeup removal and dehydration for normal to dry and sensitive skin. It is cruelty free and vegan, therefore free from fragrance, parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, phthalates, silicons, lanolin, petrolatum, gluten and etc. This product uses coconut derived cleansers to naturally and effectively remove dirt/ makeup. I started using this product at night as part of my nightly routine. I like how there is no scent at all to this product and the consistency is a creamy but liquidy oil cleanser that foams up easily when you lather it with water☺️. The one thing that I did not like about this product was that it slightly stripped my face of its oils too much compared to my other cleanser that actually provided moisture. So I stopped using this product before I got to see a change. But recently, I decided to give this product another chance since I really want it to work. So I compensate the dehydration by adding another serum to my routine to increase the overall moisture I am getting from my routine. I haven't been using this product for long enough to see any drastic results but I have noticed that my reddness has toned down a tad bit. So I will for sure continue using this product for its' full benefits. Overall, this product is more on the expensive side. It is $38 for 6 oz/177mL. I would recommend people who suffer from the same concern to give it a chance though since there are more good reviews and positive feedback than negative. There has also been no irritation nor breakouts so its pretty much suitable for sensitive and acne prone skin. Just not really suitable for dry skin even though it says that it targets normal to dry skin😬.

Skinfix go-to cleanser.
Skinfix go-to cleanser.
skinfix - Barrier+ Foaming Oil Cleanser Product Claims to: this is a light foaming oil cleanser that helps with washing away any facial dirt and make up. While leaving skin feeling soft without stripping. Product Target Concerns: this product targets dryness, dullness, uneven texture and also redness. Texture/Consistency: lightweight creamy foaming oil Overall Experience/Thoughts: I am absolutely obsessed with this cleanser. At first I was a bit confused with the whole oil to foam idea but it’s honestly like regular a light weight soapy cleanser. I love how it really doesn’t help my face become less irritated. And it doesn’t strip away or make my face feel tight. A lot goes a long way because it has lasted me such a long time. It’s only 28$ and I definitely think it’s worth it. I will be repurchasing.

Hi all. My skin basically has every issue known to man right now 😂 I had a regime going for a long time that was working but now that line isn’t made anymore. Skin concerns: *Dry, potentially dehydrated/barrier issues *HIGHLY reactive and sensitive to many products (acne, rashes) *Acne *Large pores *Bumps on forehead *Bumps, rashiness, and redness on cheeks *Fine lines on forehead Current regime (that clearly isn’t working very well): *Cleanser: skinfix - Barrier+ Foaming Oil Cleanserin AM and OLE HENRIKSEN - The Clean Truth Foaming Cleanserin PM *Serums: The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, The Ordinary - ''Buffet''(only on forehead—freaks the rest of my face out) *Moisturizers: The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HAand The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane *toner: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner The squalane is the only thing I’m 100% sure is working well for me. Everything else is a total shrug! I feel in particular that the hyaluronic acid is causing acne. I’m completely desperate and feel like a total skincare newb after years of having mostly okay skin. I’m looking primarily for budget and cruelty free options but at this point I’m willing to do whatever. Help please!!

"Your skin is 90% of your self
"Your skin is 90% of your selfie. Take care of it" Let me introduce you to my holy grail skincare brand: Skinfix! @Skinfix is a brand endorsed by dermatologists as skin barrier experts and focuses on clean skincare products. I was introduced to the #Skinfix barrier+ line over a year ago when my skin took a turn for the worse. I was diagnosed with Rosacea and didn't know what was going on with my skin. It was red, bumpy, irritated, and an overall mess. I was recommended the barrier+ line and I have used it religiously for the last year and let me tell you...it has TRANSFORMED MY SKIN! What sets this skincare line apart from the rest is that it works to repair the barrier of your skin. What causes our skin's barrier to get damaged? Over-exfoliation, age, emotional stress, environmental stress, and the list goes on. Foaming oil cleanser: Don't let the name fool you it is not oily! It is easy to use, gentle, milky and cleanses my face without stripping my natural oils. It removes my makeup and leaves my face feeling so soft and hydrated. Triple Lipid-Hyaluronate Serum: This serum literally makes my skin feel like I drank 4 litres of water! The surge of hydration it gives me is like no other. It is lightweight and not greasy at all! My skin hasn't glowed this much ever! Lipid-Peptide Cream: If you want hydration without that greasy heavy feel...You need this cream in my life! It's a miracle in a bottle, to be honest. It's so hydrating that it has gotten me through the harshest of winters but light enough to continue using in the Summer months. It is fragrance-free and a staple in my skincare routine. Lipid Boost 360 Eye: Absorbs quickly into the skin. Reduces puffiness leaving my eyes feeling bright and smooth. I have also noticed that it has diminished the look of my fine lines and wrinkles as well. Redness Recovery + Antioxidant Redness Treatment Overnight Mask: This mask cools and calms my redness down immediately. It is not heavy on the skin and I've been able to stop using topical antibiotic creams that I was prescribed for my rosacea because of this mask! Highly recommend.

skinfix - Barrier+ Foaming Oil Cleanser This one is currently on my top list. I have been testing this cleanser for a few days now and I am impressed. This oil cleanser is best for dry skin and anyone who wants to keep your skin hydrated even after washing your face because of macadamia and jojoba oils, and squalane in this bottle This cleanser is so gentle, you can almost feel it right when you open the bottle cap. After rinsing, you could almost feel your fingers sliding through your face. It’s also fragrance-free.

𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫+ ⁣ ⁣ 𝘣𝘺 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘹⁣ ⁣ I received the Skinfix Lipid Boost 360 degrees eye cream in my January Trendmood V.2 (January) box, which I purchased. It is such a great formula - no scent, pump packaging, lightweight, yet moisturizing. It layers well under makeup for day and under/over any skincare at night. I used it everyday for over a month straight.⁣ ⁣ I was also really excited to try out the Foaming Oil Cleanser in the same line, which was kindly gifted by Skinfix. This is a beautiful formula! I don’t always do a double cleanse, and this is able to remove makeup and everything else on my face without drying out my skin. It doesn’t foam too much, and doesn’t leave the skin tight. It’s a very nice cleanser. ⁣ ⁣ Overall, I’m loving the new aesthetic of the brand. I love the pump packaging, it’s clean and functional. I love that the formulas are non irritating, and without any fragrance. I have normal skin that leans oily during the summer and dry during the winter, and I can see these products transitioning seamlessly into warmer months. I can’t wait to see what else they release!⁣ ⁣ The oil cleanser was a pr sample.
