Absolutely in love with these products- the First Base cream is a lovely thick, yet blendable cream that doesnt feel heavy when applied. I use this on my ends, about halfway down my hair, to tips, to help with frizziness and split ends. I love how it make my hair fee soft, moisturized, and I really fee like it protecting my ends from fraying. The Soulfood mask is hands down the best hair mask I’ve tried to date- and I’ve tried enough 🙌🏼 You feel a difference after one application. My hair feels softer each time, more conditioned, nourished, easier to brush when followed with a shower, and looks so healthy and shiny! I was almost finished my tub and was SO happy to have been gifted this mini! The tub lasted me soo long because I used it sparingly, so I know I’ll work through the mini slowly too

I actually got into Soulfood years ago when my hairdresser actually gave me a sample after my (somewhat) regular hair appointment (I go once a year 🙃). I tried it on and immediately after the first use I fell in love, and so not long afterwards, I purchased it myself ☺️ and even though I use it quite infrequently (I’m way better with skin maintenance than hair maintenance) I’m still in love with it and it will probably be the only hair mask I ever buy again!

I’ll start of by saying I love amika and their entire product line. This product however is not my favorite by them. This is a moisturizing cream that can be used on wet or dry hair to add some extra moisture. It is designed to help dry stands retain moisture and give it some extra shine, plus it helps fight frizz. The texture is very liquidy for a cream and comes out almost watery. It of course has the amika smell which is amazing and does not weigh my hair down. I received this as a sample in one of my subscription boxes and used it daily for three weeks before it ran out. A little goes a long way. To be honest I didn’t notice much difference between my hair when using and not using this product. I would still give it 4 stars because it was a nice leave in and made my hair smell amazing. I’m normally blown away by all amika products but this one did not do that for me. The full size is $25 and I don’t think I would realistically pay that for it.amika: - First base moisturizing Styling Cream
