☁️📦 It’s a good day in nay.nay land! 📦☁️
📦📦Two boxes arrived today! Always exciting not gonna lie. Maybe that says something about how fast paced my lifestyle is lol. ♿️When I first became disabled, getting a Sephora package could change my whole day. I used to very rarely shop online prior to mobility issues, but it’s definitely a whole new fun thing in quarantine where I’m seriously like never leaving my house. Even if Sephoras are open, I’m not going out shopping. 🛍vs💻 Even though this can be opposite case for most people, I found I bought more frivolous stuff I didn’t need when I shopped in-store compared to online. At Sephora I would get distracted by a million shiny things & my bf would laugh when I said I just had 3 specific things I knew I needed to get.. bla bla Online I can do a lot of research, read tons of reviews & attempt to make an educated decision, though I do miss being able to feel out textures in store, it’s not the time anymore. I got a Sephora package & a package from haircare/bodycare brand Moroccanoil. I’ve been using some of their products for a long time & decided to try a couple new things. Reviews coming soon! MOROCCANOIL - Body Polishing Scrub $39/10.2 oz Really excited to try this! I’ve been really into body scrubs with decadent oils. This has Argan, Avocado, Rice Bran, Safflower, Grape Seed & Sweet Almond oils. #Moroccanoil - Molding Cream[products]#[FiveStars] $28/10.2 oz 🪥This is actually what I use to do my baby hair & tame fly-always. I love this stuff & a tub lasts me foreverrrr. MOROCCANOIL - Moisture Repair Conditioner$24/10.2 oz Been craving that Moroccanoil signature scent. I hope this is as good as the reviews I read. LANEIGE - Essential Power Skin Toner for Normal to Dry Skin$28/6.7 oz I ran out of toner & decided to try something new. This bottle is so pretty! #JLo Beauty - THAT BLOCKBUSTER™ IN A NONSTOP WONDER CREAM[products]#$58/1.7 oz (this is just a deluxe sample from Sephora) Very excited to try this! I love the little tube, very James Bond. I’ve been using the serum & sunscreen for a week or 2. I’m dying to try the cleanser, but mostly because the tube looks so pretty, so this sorta satisfies me for now lol. SHISEIDO - SHISEIDO Eyelash Curler Pad $6/set of 2 So glad Sephora started carrying these! I used to have to go out of my way to a specific Shiseido counter in Macy’s to get them in the past. I’ve been using the Shiseido eyelash curler for like 8 years now, I own 2 & they’re both still working great & give my eyelashes the perfect curl. This specific curler is designed for eyes that aren’t deep set, & has a less pronounced curve than most western curlers. So you kinda can’t just use a random drugstore replacement pad. ➕I’ve heard these pads also are a great fit for the Shu Uemura curler as well! 📦Have you tried any of these goodies?

Formulated with 6 moisture-maximizing minerals—zinc, manganese, magnesium, sodium, calcium and potassium—that are ionized and stabilized in water to penetrate quicker and deeper into skin. • Vitamin-rich birch sap nourishes thirsty skin while Hydro Ionized Mineral Water provides deep hydration. • This formula gently and effectively whisks away dead skin cells, leaving skin visibly retexturized and radiant. I recently bought this and I have been using it for a week. I have combo/oily skin but every skin needs to be hydrated and when I used this.. oh my goodness.. it just sinks into your skin beautifully! Leaving your skin super soft and hydrated. It’s not tacky at all on the skin! The texture is a little milky and thick but overall exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend this to every skin type even thought it says it’s for normal to dry. What makes this product even nicer is the scent! I can’t tell you how nice this smells! And right after you clean your face and apply this.. it’s just the best feeling! It’s not overly scented, so if you have issues with products that has scent this might not be the one for you. (Id try it anyways because it’s amazing) This is sold for $28 for 6.7 fl oz at Sephora or the Laneige website! LANEIGE - Essential Power Skin Toner for Normal to Dry Skin

NECESSITIES: Skincare the Korean Way
I was asked on Twitter to do product reviews regarding my Korean skincare, so I was thinking, “Hey, why not put it on Cherie as well?”. Not all of my followers use Cherie and not a lot of people know me on Cherie, but hopefully if you come across this somehow, you can take something away from this post. Because I have so many products I’m going to do this in waves: - Necessities - Acne Gods - Exfoliators - Cleansers - Lip Care - Highschool Carry Ons - The God of All Serums - Face Masks This round is Necessities! I will be going over the products I use on a daily basis without fail. Even if I wake up a few minutes late, I can get this simple routine done in about 5-7 minutes. Super easy right? I am going to do this in order that I use them. First is Soo'AE - HEMP DREAMS CLEANSING OIL . This is my first step after makeup removal. I don’t normally use a lot of makeup or any makeup for that matter, so I can usually go straight to an oil cleanser. A good oil cleanser should be deep cleansing and hydrating, they should be essentially melting all the makeup and nasty that makeup remover doesn’t get. SooAe, an Korean-American skincare brand has released this cleansing oil which uses Hemp seed oil in order to do a deep cleaning and hydrate at the same time. All I do is take a pump of this, massage it into my face, then massage in some warm water. The cleansing oil should turn a milky white once the water is introduced. Following an oil cleanser, I ALWAYS have to go in with another non-oil based cleanser. I like foam cleansers because they tend to be water based and they are really light and airy. NATURE REPUBLIC - Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Foam Cleanser is perfect for what I need. As I have normal skin type (thank you 엄마 mom and 아빠 dad!!), I am all about hydrating and protecting. The aloe very has a soothing effect and most definitely leaves my skin nice and restored by the end. This cleanser also doesn’t leave any makeup or nasty in your pores. On a good day, I would do a triple cleanse and follow up with a pore cleansing foam or my weekly exfoliating cleanser, but this is bare necessities. That being said, following my double cleansing method, I follow up with LANEIGE - Essential Power Skin Toner for Normal to Dry Skin . Anyone who knows me knows I swear my entire life by Laneige. The reason is because of their HUGE selection of water based skincare. The Essential Power Skin Toner is super refreshing and acts as a third cleanser while also replenishing moisture. Keyword here is MOISTURE!!! Most toners tend to dry out the skin, but Laneige doesn’t disappoint and hydrates like no other. Of course, following any good toner should be an essence. I use LANEIGE - Water Bank Hydro Essence . It not only boosts hydration, but it locks in any moisture in your skin and prepares your skin to absorb any serums, essential oils, or face mask/packs that you use after. Even if you don’t use oils, serums, masks, etc. using essence before eye cream and even simple moisturizer will prepare your skin for an ultra hydration party. Normally, I would use serums and a face mask/pack, but since the clock is ticking before I have to leave the house, I’m going to skip straight to eye cream. Eye cream is NOT ONLY FOR AGING ADULTS! Eye cream/gels are used to treat and maintain the skin around our eyes. The skin around our eyes are the weakest, thinnest, and most sensitive skin on our bodies, so we need to take really really good care of it. Another product of LANEIGE - Water Bank Eye Gel . I was born with the typical Asian eyes which are on the smaller side, so when I am tired and my eyes are a bit swollen, my eyes look 10x smaller. Not the prettiest thing to look at. This eye gel is not only light and hydrating, but it also has a cooling effect which wakes me up a bit. Following this, I use the LANEIGE - Water Bank Hydrating Gel . Since I moved from Korea, I can’t seem to find this in the States, so I have my grandparents bring this over for me when they come for their visits. With this, a little goes a long way, so despite the small size, it hydrates and leaves your skin looking plump and glowy all day long. While I brush my teeth and last minute pack my school bag, I let the two Water Bank gels fully absorb and then follow up with AHC - Natural Perfecting Double Shield Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++ with a SPF of 50+. You should use a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 no matter the weather forecast is. If you are going outside and the sun is out, put on the damn sunscreen. Your skin will thank you later. There are a number of reasons I recommend this. The first one being that it is a sunscreen and a color corrected all in one. I tend to pink really easily, and not a cute blush. I mean the pink where you low key look like a lobster the minute you go into the sun for more than 10 minutes. Since the color of the sunstuck is green, it naturally cancels out the redness. The other reason I recommend this is because it is so much easier and portable than suncreams/screens. It’s a stick that can be easily tossed into my bag when I need to put more sunscreen on (you should put reapply sunscreen after about 2 hours). Last big reason I like this is because it doesn’t leave that oily looking residue and it doesn’t become sticky and nasty when you sweat. The last of the Water Bank line and the Necessities lineup is the LANEIGE - Water Bank Hydrating Gel , which also has a cooling effect and can be put over sunscreen to give your skin that extra glow. I’m telling you, if you keep using this gel, your skin will be baby smooth within a week or two. Admittedly, some of these products are on the pricier side, but the results are worth the extra 5-7 bucks you will pay, plus, with these product, a lot goes a long way. All of the Laneige gels last me a good 6-7 months each and the toner and essence lasts me nearly an entire year. Keep in mind that I follow this skincare routine twice a day/everyday. That’s a lot longer than most products last, so consider throwing in a bit more money for a lot of results~ I hope you learned a lot from this post and were able to benefit from my reviews. I will continue with the waves and hopefully I will get through every wave my the end of next week.
LANEIGE-Essential Power Skin Toner for Normal to Dry Skin
❄️Laneige Essential Power Toner for dry skin❄️
🥛As I was finishing off my Laneige Cream Skin, I already regretted buying one this instead. It’s not terrible, I just realized immediately that I like their Cream Skin Toner so0oO0o much better! 🧊This slightly translucent blue bottle is gorgeous though! It’s plastic, but very sturdy & well made. LANEIGE - Essential Power Skin Toner for Normal to Dry Skin $28/6.7 oz 🔹Though this is a much better deal per oz than Cream Skin, it does contain Alcohol (3rd ingredient) & fragrance (last ingredient) while ‘Laneige Cream Skin’ is alcohol & fragrance free. 🌀Overall this isn’t a horrible toner for dry skin, but it’s not a good choice for sensitive skin. It’s heavily fragranced. 💦I also don’t like the slightly gelatinous, yet somehow very watery texture. It feels a little slimey. Though it doesn’t dry out my skin or anything, I didn’t like the slightly sticky feeling afterwards. The container does make it really easy to dispense without a mess, which I do appreciate. The scent is a sort of floral/clean refreshing smell, but you do get notes of alcohol. I’m not super sensitive to fragrance, but I don’t like alcohol smell😕 ❄️The formula does have a lot of good hydrating ingredients like Prickly Pear extract, Panthenol (provitamin B5), Amino acids, Vitamin-rich Silver Birch & Quinoa extracts. It’s also enriched with moisture enhancing minerals Zinc, Manganese, Magnesium, Sodium, Calcium & Potassium which are ionized & stabilized in water, designed to absorb quicker into skin. ◻️I tried it with & without a cotton pad for application experimentation, but wasn’t feelin it that much either way. I’ll definitely finish it, but since I had to reorder cream skin, I’ll probably start alternating. I also don’t use a toner 2x a day or necessarily every day. Kinda depends on how my skin feels. 🤷🏻♀️Toners are definitely a debated topic. I won’t be the one to tell you need one at all. I’ve just been using them in my skincare routine foreverr & I enjoy that addition to my routine. I like my skin to feel balanced & refreshed after cleansing... But what I will say is: a toner is not meant to further clean your skin or remove last bits of makeup after cleansing. If your cotton pad shows grime or makeup, it means your cleansing routine (even if you’re double-cleansing) may not be effective enough. Experiment with different methods. Everyone’s needs will be different. 💄I know some people like to use a Micellar water after cleansing if they think they haven’t removed all their makeup. ☁️So this product was definitely not a favorite as far as texture & feel. There are way better toners out there... I think I really couldn’t help but compare it to LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer ($33/5 oz) but that was such a winner for me & a unique product. ANNA SUI-Beauty Dresser Box
Eeeek!! I’ve read so many reviews on this product that I was so ecstatic to find our we carried them in another store. I ordered it a week ago, and it finally arrive today! I still have a little bit of my LANEIGE - Essential Power Skin Toner for Normal to Dry Skin but I really wanted to try it! Highlighted Ingredients: - Antioxidant Coenzyme Q10: Protects against environmental stressors. - Hyaluronic Acid: Helps promote long-lasting hydration. - Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Sage, Papaya, and Cucumber Extracts: Combine to soothe, rejuvenate, and promote a refreshed, radiant appearance. It is so hydrating, silky and left my face feeling so soft. It was so soft, I ended up spraying a little more on my face. The ONLY downfall was I thought the toner was a 200ml when it’s actually 125. Not that big a deal... but hopefully I won’t get through it too quickly! Love love love it!!!
INDIE LEE-CoQ-10 Toner
The BEST sensitive skin toner!
The Laneige Essential Power Skin Toner is marketed for onormal/dry skin, but I have oily/combo skin and this works like a DREAM for me. My skin can get really sensitive to new products/fragrances, but I’m happy to say that no irritation was experienced after using this product!!! I like to take the “seven skin” approach when applying my toners, meaning I pat on a small amount seven times for the first step in my routine. However, I’ve noticed that one to two layers of this toner gives me the same results as *seven* layers of thinner toners. My skin always feels soft, supple, and calm after I apply this. Emphasis on calm— I especially like to use this before introducing a new active acid into my routine. The vitamin-rich birch sap keeps my skin happy and reduces irritation, while also giving the toner this super thicc viscous feeling that just disappears into your skin but leaves it bouncy without hydration. This is a great product to use to help soothe irritation from tough physical or chemical exfoliants, or to just keep your skin nice and supple in the colder weather. Definitely recommend if that sounds like something you need!
