Trusted Kiehl’s To Treat My Thirsty, Hyperpigmented skin
Kiehl's - Daily Reviving Concentrate If I can only pick 1 brand of skincare to use my entire life, it would be Kiehl’s. I’ve been a fan for years now since I’ve laid my hands on that blue bottle of midnight recovery serum. I’ve tried a number of their products and my skin just loves it. This Daily Reviving Concentrate has the same consistency as the Midnight Recovery Serum- it’s light, just a tad thicker than water. I use this in the morning to treat my thirsty skin after I double cleanse my face, and after applying toner and essence. I particularly love that it’s hydrating but it doesn’t leave my face oily. I can instantly feel its moisturizing properties but it’s not too much so as to leave my face greasy. It’s a good makeup base as it leaves a bit of a glow to my skin. Sometimes I like putting a teeny weeny drop on the side of my eye - the area where you normally apply highlighter - to highlight the high points of my face. I do that when I don’t have a foundation on, which is literally every day now because of the lockdown. I swear by this product. Kiehl's - Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution I suffer from hyperpigmentation because I liked suntanning until about 4 years ago. Back then, I didn’t know that the sun rays would give me sun spots even if I wear SPF. Fast forward to today, I have learned my lesson and I try to stay out of the sun as much as I could. I love tanning so I just use self tanning products to fake a glow. Due to my sun frolicking days, I developed a bit of sun spots on my cheeks. I combat these by using products with vitamin C or niacinamide. I particularly love this dark spot solution from Kiehl’s as it has a mixture of different acids that help in brightening the pigmentation, plus it’s gentle. I have sensitive skin so it’s really easy for me to feel a slight tingling sensation when I use products with acids or vitamin C but this product is so gentle that I didn’t feel anything the first time I applied it. I have seen some improvements on the uneven texture of my face. The pigmentation on my cheeks have since lightened a bit. I also love the smell of this serum. It feels like I’m in a spa whenever I put it on my face. Definitely a must try if you’re looking for something gentle to treat your hyperpigmentation.

Old VS New: Daytime Facial Oil
🔶 I loooove facial oils for daytime and nighttime. They just give my skin that extra glow and moisture and are an essential part of my routine. Typically for daytime, I go with a lighter oil that sinks in quickly, wears well under makeup, and will give me a glow throughout the day. THE OLD 🔶Kiehls Daily Reviving Concentrate 🔶 I purchased this oil because it was an alleged dupe for the Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum (my absolute favorite daytime facial oil but its $200 so I’ll probably never buy it again). I wouldn’t say this was a dupe at all but it is an incredibly lightweight antioxidant rich oil containing ginger root, sunflower oil, and tamanu oil. 🔶 This oil was a little too light for my liking but if you’re oily and want to start using a daytime oil you’ll probably love this. This oil was fine, but it didn’t really blow me away or give me the glow that I like to see with a daytime oil. THE NEW 🔶 Herbivore Orchid Oil 🔶 I purchased this oil after getting through a travel size and loving it. This product contains mineral rich and moisture binding orchid extract, omega fatty acid rich camellia oil, and barrier replenishing squalane. It’s richer than the Kiehls oil and is probably more suitable for normal to dry skin types. 🔶 I love this product. It has an amazing jasmine scent and if they made this into a perfume I would 1000% buy it. This one takes a little longer to sink into the skin but it leaves my skin so glowy and bouncy and soft.

🌻Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate🌻
Kiehl's - Daily Reviving Concentrate About me 🤗 and the product 🌻 Skin type/skin tone I have combination skin. My t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks 🧐I also have some freckles across my cheeks and my nose bridge. 🌻Product function The product claims to energize💪🏼 the skin by reducing skin fatigue and makes the skin radiant ✨✨. The product also claims to protect the skin from free radicals by using antioxidants 👊🏻. 🌻Texture/consistency The consistency is liquidy but thicker than water. It had a slightly greasy feeling due to the botanical oils that are infused within. 🌻Packaging The packaging includes a dropper lid and a glass body. When the product came, there was a slight leakage so I don’t know if it’s a faulty cap or the cap is not leak protective. 😤 Beauty story 📖 🌻Overall experience I’ve seen this product a lot and heard lots of good things about it so I wanted to try it out. However, I didn’t want to risk spending $50 and getting something that I don’t like 😬 so I got the sample size to test out how I like it. As stated above, when I got the product, there was a slight leakage which caused the bottle and some of my other products to become slightly greasy 😐. 🌻Verdict💔 I tried the product for the first time and right away...did not like it🙅🏻♀️. They claim that the product works for all skin types. I have combination skin and I don’t think it worked well on my skin. It felt heavy and greasy😰. It also felt like it clogged my pores. The product did not feel like it got absorbed into my skin and it’s probably since I usually don’t use oils on my skin so my skin is not used to it. However, I wanted to give the product a chance and I wanted to see if it did what it claim it would do so I tried the product out for a week. It caused some parts of my skin to break out 😭but in the areas of my skin that are usually dry the concentrate seemed to work! 🤔 🌻Recommend? ✅I would highly recommend this product for people with dry skin since it does work well as a moisturizer and brightening the skin ✨ ❌I would not recommend this product for oily skin and acne prone skin since it is essentially botanical oils and when I used it it felt like it clogged my skin. For anyone with combination skin like me, I would recommend the product to be used in only the dry spots. 🌻Worth it?💰💰 👍🏻Totally worth the time and money if you have dry skin. 👎🏻Not worth it if you have oily skin!!

Dry Skin's Experience Using Kiehl's Concentrate💙
Ok I am back!😝😝😝 It's kinda hot these days, so I am changing my skincare products to lighter ones. Then I realized that I haven't talk about Kiehl's yet. I have been using it for a LONG time, so I want to share with you my experience using the following products. 1)Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate I used to have severely dry skin but since I started using this concentrate five years ago, my skin no longer peels off even in winter. I've never stopped using it since then and I'll use it with serums that provide other effects. My foundation has been kept from separating or sliding off ever since. It has a soothing lavender scent and is easily absorbed. Usage: The official website recommends 3 drops each time but I use 6 or 7 drops each time. I will repurchase this product. 2) Kiehl's - Daily Reviving Concentrate It has a lemon scent and I used it with other products for my morning skincare routine. However, I won't repurchase it because the midnight recovery concentrate is better in various aspects and its formula can be used morning and night. 3) trilogy - Certified Organic Rosehip Oil Apply the oil while giving yourself a facial massage for a more contoured face. I always cleanse my face before I get started on the facial massage. After the massage, I'll wash off the excess oil, apply a mask, then wash off the excess serum. Only then will I continue my skin care routine. I will repurchase this product.

☀️ Secret to My AM Hydrated Glow Revealed!☀️
I have combination skin so my t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks 🧐I also have some freckles (sun spots) across my cheeks and my nose bridge (which bother me!). I also have very sensitive skin so I am alwyas cautious with new products or else my skin will becom super red and peel!😭 Every morning I use different face wash and serums depending on how my skin condition is or based off of how the weather is! I always look at the weather to see how humid 💦 it is and where I live, the humidity level is almost always over 90%! Even though my routine may differ day to day, these are the main products I like to use the majority of the time. The outline of my steps are cleanser, serum, concentrate, moisturizer. I start off with theGlossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser to gently cleanse and refersh my skin. I feel like this product is super fit for using in the mornings since it is super light and not harsh at all. Since I wash my face at night already before my nightly routine (coming soon!), and I don't really do anything else that would dirty my face at night 🌚 so its good to use a gentle cleanser to wake up my skin. This product can be used dry to melt away dirt and makeup or used with water to refresh your skin. However, I did noticed that it did not remove all the makeup off my skin so I stopped using this product to remove things and just use it solely for a refresher. I heard that some people did not like the scent but I like it. It smells faintly like roses 🌹 which I LOVE. If you want a more in depth review on this product please read my Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser review that I posted earlier! I then useThe Ordinary - ''Buffet'' . This serum is a recent new addition to my skincare products and I'll touch more on why I switched to this serum in a future post (please look forward to it!). Since my skin is combination, it is really hard to find the right balance for my face since some parts become oily and some parts are so dry that it peels. I chose this serum because it is good for dryness and I feel like I suffer from dryness more than oiliness. This produt is good for pretty much all types of skin: normal, oily, combination, dry, and most importantly, sensitive skin! Not only does this product help with drynes, it also claims to help with fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, and uneven texture. I've been using this product for about 2 weeks and I feel like its pretty good so far. I like how there is no fragrance and absorbs into my skin pretty well and preps my skin for the next step. Concentrate and Mosturizer/sunscreen. The concentrate I use is theKiehl's - Daily Reviving Concentrate I drop 2 drops of the concentrate along with my moisturizer and mix it and homogenize it in my palms. The concentrate is an oil so using this in the past, I made the mistake of using too much which caused my skin to break out (more details in te review I posted earlier). Now, I quite like this product since it does add an extra hydrating and brightening effect to my day. The moisturizer I use is theSUNPLAY - SKIN AQUA Super Moisture Essence SPF50 + PA ++++ . This product is a 3-in-one so it is super easy and nice to use for someone as lazy and on the go as me. It provides high-moistre, provides superior photo-stabel protection, and most of all, it protects against premature aging caused by UV rays. I love ❤️ the texture of this sunscreen since it is extremly watery and light which does not cause my skin to clog up or break out.
Reviving and Recovery concentrate!
Kiehl's - Daily Reviving Concentrate I absolutely love the effect this oil had on my 32 year old face! I wanted something with a lot of moisture but not a lot of weight. This oil is perfection! It definitely made my foundation go on smoother and last longer. I was concerned about the smell but it has a citrus scent which i like. I recommend this oil to dry skin type It is expensive but i’ d say its worth it, youe face will feel and look amazing Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate honestly this is my favorite skincare product. It is definitely a must in my skin-care routine. I know I sound like I'm exaggerating, but I actually can't be without this product. Somehow when I use this and I'm sleep-deprived it just makes me look so fresh and like I've gotten a lot of sleep. It hydrates my skin eventhough its not a moisturizer. And it is one of the few products that gives intense hydration without leaving me greasy the next morning. And for some reason i feel that my pores look smaller, my T-zone produces less sebum while at the same time making my skin super soft and hyrated. Give it a try!
