Why It's SpecialThis cult classic gel-cream deeply hydrates, soothes and softens all skin types—even the hypersensitive ones. Powered by Caudalie's organic grape water and patented grape-seed polyphenols, this cream not only provides hydration, but it also protects the skin from free radicals, which causes wrinkles. This formula is rich in Vinolevure to strengthen skin to become less sensitive and more resilient over time.
What It IsLike a sorbet that melts in your mouth, our Moisturizing Sorbet Cream will melt into your skin to cool, refresh, and hydrate the surface with its lightweight texture. Thanks to its "quick break" lipophilic technology, this cream to gel moisturizer will go onto the skin as a cream & finish as a gel on contact, creating a patch of moisture to help soothe, hydrate and strengthen the skin.

Caudalie Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum, and my skin has been SO happy. I’ve been using it for over 2 weeks now, and it has kept my skin totally clear for the large majority of that time. 🍇 This gel serum’s exfoliating effect and unclogging action are meant to reduce blemishes and blackheads in an effort to remove excess oil from the skin and refine skin texture. 🍇 Formulated with the highest concentration of natural salicylic acid, grape seed polyphenols and organic essential oils, this lightweight yet potent serum absorbs into the skin super quickly, tightening pores and smoothing skin texture. 🍇 The salicylic acid is meant to flush out excess oil and clarify clogged pores, while rosewater works to enhance the skin’s glow and hydrate it. Antioxidant grape seed polyphenols are there to protect the skin and prevent the oil inside pores from oxidizing, which is how blackheads form! 🍇 Noncomedogenic essential oils are there to provide antiseptic benefits to calm the skin and keep it clear, smooth and soft. This serum is safe for sensitive skin and is recommended for combination to oily skin, and those suffering from hormonal breakouts! 🍇 Like I said, I have been *loving* this serum! It has kept pimples at bay from my face for 2 weeks, and the fact that it sinks in immediately is a huge plus. I will continue to use this serum to treat the pesky hormonal breakouts that plague my skin every month!

Happy Wednesday friends! 🙋🏼♀️ . . Really loving how my morning routine for today fit in with #pinkwednesday! 💕🎀 . . I usually wash my face with just warm water💦 in the morning, because using any kind of cleanser on my skin in the am tends to dry it out completely. I followed up with @glowrecipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask🍉 as a quick morning pick me up, because I had a late night yesterday😴(I basically spent half the night coming up with a skincare plan for my family😂👩🏼🔬). . . I usually use this mask overnight, but I read a post by @christine_glow that she uses it as a wash-off mask in the morning to help smooth and plump💧 up the skin, and let me tell you it does just that! What I love most about this mask is that it contains both lactic acid (AHA) and hyaluronic acid. The cool thing about hyaluronic acid is that it’s able to hold 1000x its weight in water💦! So apply it to damp skin after cleansing, then follow up with your toners, serums, and moisturizers. This will seal in the moisture content that the HA can absorb, (especially if the air around you is super dry). 🌬💨❄️ . . I finished up with @caudalie Vinosource Creme Sorbet💕, a light and fluffy gel moisturizer full of grape water🍇, polyphenols (which have antioxidant properties=aka anti-aging), and chamomile to calm and soothe stressed out skin.💆🏼♀️ . . One of my favorite things about finally figuring out what skincare products work for me is that it allowed me to finally feel more confident stepping out without a full face of makeup💄! (Which let me tell you is a huuuge deal if you know me at all😂). So today I kept it simple with some: . . @toofaced Hangover 3-in-1 Primer 💕 . . @benefitcosmetics Gimme Brow💕 . . @toofaced Better than Sex mascara (100% favorite mascara of all time)💕 . . @beccacosmetics Under Eye Brightening Corrector (bye-bye dark circles)💕 . . @freshbeauty Sugar Rose Lip Treatment (my go-to for the perfect rosy lips!)🌹💄💋 . . @narsissist Orgasm Blush🌷☺️ . . @michaelkors Wonderlust Perfume 💐kindly gifted to me by my mother-in-law (who is pretty freaking awesome, let me tell you, I definitely lucked out!) . . What’s your morning routine?☀️💄

skincare products from caudalie 🍇 Beauty Elixir: If you haven’t tried the cult-favorite Beauty Elixir yet, I’d urge you to run to your nearest Sephora and pick one up asap! I’d forgotten how much I love this mist, but it’s been on heavy rotation since we were reunited last month. Beauty Elixir lives in my beauty fridge and has become my does-it-all product. I use it after cleansing & toning, as a setting spray and as a refresher throughout the day. The magical blend of grape extracts & oils makes my skin look and feel AMAZING! I’m thinking that I need to pick up a mini (or two) for my bag (and my car.. and my desk). 🍇 Vinosource Crème Sorbet: I was hooked immediately when I first tried this moisturizer. The whipped texture feels lightweight and luxurious, but still delivers the hydration that my dry skin requires. I’ve been using this in the evenings exclusively and I always wake up to soft, bouncy, glowy skin. Due to a hectic schedule, I haven’t been getting much sleep, but this cream gets all of the credit for making me look like I got a full 8 hours. The packaging is perfect for travel as well. 🍇 Vinoperfect Serum: I usually like to use a serum for at least 6-8 weeks before reviewing it, but I’ve been using Vinoperfect for a solid month, almost every night and I’m really loving it. I’ve noticed a smoother, brighter complexion and the dark spots left behind by breakouts are fading with each passing week.
You know those tried and true skincare products that always deliver and never, ever let you down? The ones you’d need if you were stranded on a desert island? If I had to fill a bag with only one product from each skincare category for said desert island, chances are, there would be a lot of caudalie in that bag. ▪️ Why? Because their products just work! I seriously can’t rave about Caudalie enough. For example, the combination of their Vinoperfect Radiance Serum & Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet is pure magic! Over time, my skin looks smoother and brighter, my dark spots have faded and my face feels so soft. The cult-favorite Beauty Elixir and Vinoperfect Glycolic Brightening Essence are both top picks as well. ▪️I’ve been using a sample of their Cru Eye Cream from the favorites set, which I picked up for my vacay next week. It’s too soon to say for sure, but I’m tempted to tell you that my search for the perfect eye cream may finally be over. The set also included the Instant Detox Mask, another product I hadn’t tried. I’ll keep you posted on my thoughts during my trip, but Caudalie has an unblemished track record of delivering on their claims. I doubt they’ll let me down.

Best Moisturizer ❣️
I think I've finally hit the jackpot after years of switching moisturizers, with this Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet! This moisturizer is really light but still seems to provide the right amount of moisture for my skin without causing it to become greasy or break out. It's light enough to even use under my makeup! My skin pretty much drinks this stuff in. It has THE Caudalie smell and does not smell sweet or like sorbet at all. The scent of Caudalie products is hard to describe. It's a calming fresh scent with hint of herbalness and a hint of white sparkling grape juice. It's not cloying or anything. Personally, I love the smell of their products. The consistency is a whipped like cream that spreads into the skin with an invisible water like fluidity. It absorbs quickly and does not feel greasy, just moist. When it's fully absorbed my skin feels soft, hydrated, plump, and refreshed. My skin is looking pretty amazing since using this daily. It's looking more balanced, has become softer, more refined in texture and tone, and dry, flaky, rough textures are disappearing with each use. My makeup has been applying better and looking better with this under it. I also feel like this moisturizer also allows my skin to breathe. I use it once in the morning after cleansing or before makeup application and once before bed. You only need a small amount, nickel size dollop at the most for both face and neck. All in all I highly recommend this moisturizer for sensitive skin that is dehydrated but prone to breakouts and irritation, who need something light, gentle but effective. This could be THE moisturizer that finally helps. I know it's been helping me❣️

“Clean by Sephora” Brands Can Still Be Damaging
Just because it’s organic, “natural”, or pretty, doesn’t make it good for you. Today I’m going to focus on two brands that consistently overprice their products that claim to be gentle but are, at base, sensitizing water that smells nice. I’d avoid them entirely, though there are honestly very few brands at Sephora that are worth the money. • Fresh: I jumped on this Insta-hyped brand a couple years ago. Most of their products are essentially just perfume with some skincare ingredients thrown in for INCI flavor. I’m normally not so harsh, but I get headaches from how fragrant their fresh - Vitamin C Glow Face Mask is. Same for the fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner , which dried out my skin terribly when my skin barrier started rioting against the volatile rose oil. Even if your skin doesn’t visibly react, fragrance and volatile plant oils oxidize, breaking down collagen beneath the surface, making this a brand (amongst many) that I’ll continue to avoid and recommend against when it comes to facial products. • Summer Fridays: Their scrub masks are, full stop, bad for skin. The scrub particles are abrasive and not uniform in size, increasing the likelihood to end up with irritated skin rather than a smooth glow. As well, they’re highly fragranced (see my above beef with fragrance), to the point that I use my leftover SUMMER FRIDAYS - R + R Mask as a foot scrub whenever I want to feel bougie. Damage on the surface AND collagen? Not worth $50. SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask uses orange peel oil, another volatile essential oil, but has the added flaw of featuring peppermint oil, which contains sensitizing, skin-irritating menthol. There are other brands (some of their products included in this “Things That Didn’t Work For Me” photo) that utilize collagen-damaging fragrance and essential oils, but I find these two so often praised on Instagram that I can’t help but wonder if people look at the ingredient lists. I know some love these brands and that’s fine- but there are so many better, more affordable brands with clinically-researched ingredients and no unnecessary irritants.
