What Else You Need to KnowThis product is vegan. Makeup pro tip: dampen makeup sponge to give dewy glow to foundation. Dampen eyeshadow brush to intensify shadow pigment. Caudalie founder Mathilde Thomas discovered this precious water on her parent’s vineyard in Bordeaux when her family during the harvest to extract water from the grapes. "This is literally pure grape water, so you can think of this as like a fire hydrant for your face. If you have irritation, if you have dryness, if you have anything that is going on that you just want to soothe it, calm it, hydrate it, bring it back to normal—that’s what this does and it’s incredible. Plus, you can set your makeup in the end with it, too!"—David Razzano, Sephora Pro Artist "Our entire Sephora Pro Team is obsessed with this because we realize that it takes away redness in the skin, so it’s perfect for a person like myself who gets super flushed every time I do any activity at all. This is like a quick fix because it just takes the redness down pretty immediately. We use it backstage a lot in fashion week because it basically takes down that redness."—Helen Phillips, Sephora Pro Artist

What I threw in my Hospital bag🏩
Because I have a neurological disease, I have to go to the hospital pretty often & stay for days at a time. There have been times where I had to leave so suddenly or I wasn’t conscious, that I didn’t get to bring any skincare beyond the lip balm in my pocket. In the past I used to just throw every moisturizer sample I had in my backpack, but as you may have guessed, being in a new environment under stress is not the best time to test new products on our skin. So this most recent time I had to be quick, but managed to grab some helpful items... A “hospital skincare” bag will never be perfect, for me it’s about maintaining comfort. You may have noticed I didn’t bring a cleanser, I recommend you bring one if you can with a few of your own face towels (towels in the hospital are so scratchy & have been bleached) Me not bringing a cleanser is just realistic for me because I likely will not be up at a sink... I brought: BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O wipes Biodegradable & free of Silicone, Petroleum products, Sulfates & Alcohol. These are a really nice gentle face wipe. I haven’t used to remove makeup though. SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 Don’t forget to still wear sunscreen even if you’re chillin inside! This has never irritated my eyes, so for me it’s a great option to apply with out a mirror. CAUDALIE - Grape Water Face mist at the hospital is a must! This is my favorite. Full review is my first post.🍇I would love to bring my travel size but I ran out. LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask shade: Gummy Bear 🐻 Great for keeping my lips moisturized under my mask😷& overnight. Full review in previous post. sun bum - Signature SPF 30 Sunscreen Lip Balm Less important with my mask on, but I highly recommend this mineral sunscreen lip balm with non-nano zinc for all skin tones! Its free of fragrance, parabens & petroleum products& it’s less than $5 SHANGPREE - Marine Jewel Nourishing Mask & MAY COOP - Raw Sheet are two of my favorite sheet masks, check out my full reviews on both in previous posts. Beauty of Joseon - Calming Serum : Green Tea + Panthenol 🍵🍃I also bring this calming serum, it’s over 76% green tea leaf water & 2% panthenol (a B5 provitamin) I’ll be doing a full review soon on this & the other 2 serums Korean skincare brand Beauty of Joseon has to offer. HERBIVORE - Rose Quartz Facial Roller To relive tension in my face... I give this 4 stars because mine kind of squeaks at me & that’s not super relaxing lol. SHANGPREE - Diamond Luminous Cream A very rich Niacinamide cream I’ve been using. Full review of this K-beauty gem coming soon!💎 Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioner Mainly for some aromatherapy🌹

Current lil daytime routine⛅️🥱🍓💦🌹✨
I’m always trying new things & samples, but this is my basic routine for the AM🧡 Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments! I use the products in the following order: fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash My favorite exfoliating cleanser! There’s a full review in a previous post if you wanna check it out🍓 DIOR - Hydra Life Balancing Hydration 2 in 1 Sorbet Water A great toner I reviewed in my last post. Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum I did a first impressions review of this not too long ago... I am still totally loving it. I now crave the fresh herbaceous scent that I wasn’t sure about at first. I find this to be working really well with my skin, always calming & soothing. I still feel like I haven’t been using it long enough (less than a month) to speak on anti aging benefits. Expect a more thorough review in the future, but I can solidly say I love this Hanbang (traditional Korean herbal medicine) skincare product. fresh - Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer 🌹I’ve used this for a while, but I’m on the lookout for something new. This moisturizer leaves skin pretty shiny but I love the way it feels. Cooling & refreshing, with a pretty strong rose scent. I may be having a slight reaction to it when I apply it though. I noticed it makes my light warm toned skin very pink right after, only for a little bit, but it doesn’t happen when I rub in other products, so it’s not physical. I read a review with a customer experiencing the same issue chalking it up to the rose extract. I have always loved rose extract & don’t recall having issues before... just something to consider. SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 I’ve used this face sunscreen for years. There are some better options perhaps... now that I want to switch over to fully mineral sunscreen (this has zinc, but also chemical sunscreen.) Nonetheless this has always kept me from being burnt, never irritated my eyes (initially what landed me on this particular sunscreen because everything else I tried hurt my eyes at some point) I like shaking it up, the thin texture is easy to apply & leaves a matte finish. I actually feel like this has helped clear up my skin at times, I recommend for acne sufferers. Has a tiny bit of a white cast, but not bad at all. ARMANI beauty - Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer I apply this to my cheeks for a very angelic & natural glow over my sunscreen☁️💗( I use shade : 08) clé de peau BEAUTÉ - UV Protective Lip Treatment Broad Spectrum SPF 30 I did a full review on this recently... I wasn’t impressed for $65 LANEIGE - Lip Glowy Balm 💜this gummy bear scented lip balm! See full review🐻🍭 SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler Less of a curve than most, my holy grail

Hormonal Acne Routine 💪
Heads up- this will be a long post! I usually have combo/ oily skin with breakouts here and there. I recently had a crazy hormonal acne flare up and after trying numerous products, I decided to see a dermatologist. Here’s the routine I’ve been following for just over a month and have seen improvement. 1. I wash my face with CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin morning and night. This cleanser is very gentle and doesn’t strip my skin or irritate my newly sensitive skin. I haven’t been wearing makeup so I can’t speak as to how good this is at removing makeup. For a daily cleanser, it’s a great option although I do find the price a little steep for a drugstore product at $15. A little goes a long way so I only use about half a pump each time! 2. I spray CAUDALIE - Grape Water on my face while it’s still a little damp. I bought the mini version at first and and about using it for a week, I ordered the bigger one! I reviewed this product separately as well and I didn’t have very high hopes. It really helps reduce sensitivity, provides a burst of hydration and preps my skin for the next product. It’s also fragrance free. 3. In the mornings, I apply Benzoyl Peroxide on the affected areas. I only keep it on for 5 minutes and then wash my face with cold water as per the dermatologist. I thought it might be more effective if I left it on and boy was I wrong. My skin was red and itchy and flaming and it was horrible. So listen to the expert!! 4. I then moisturize with CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin mornings and nights. I have to say, I’m still getting used to this one. As an oily girl, I’m used to using gel based moisturizers that sink right now. This I feel kind of sits on top of my skin... I know there’s a “lotion” as well which may be a little more suited for me than a “cream”. However, it doesn’t irritate my skin so I’ve stuck to it. 5. I finish my applying sunscreen with SPF 50. I’ve had this previously and I used it for oily skin. It hasn’t dried my newly combo/ sensitive skin so I’ve continued using this product. Night Routine 3 times a week, I apply DIFFERIN - Acne Treatment Gel to the effected area. I feel confident this has made a huge impact! It is of course drying but the CAUDALIE - Grape Water helps with that. I even use it as a spot treatment in between if I need to! This is a prescribed version but it’s also available OTC. Add Ons 1. JĀSON - Soothing 98% Aloe Vera Pure Natural Moisturizing Gel when my skin is feeling super sensitive (more so in the early stages) I used this instead of the CeraVe. It feels nice on the skin and is a natural product. 2. dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator I use this as I need it to exfoliate away any dead skin as a result of the creams I’m using. Gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin at all

Face mists are my best friend during Summer!
Summer has finally arrived and for many people it can be one of the most challenging seasons to take proper care of your skin because of the heat and strength of the sun. There are different kinds of products that are ideal for this season which serve different purposes. One of them are face mists, while you may have heard of them and are fully familiar, there are a lot of people that do not know what they are for, whether it is essential to use them or not, or what they contain. For those and many other reasons, they have not made facial sprays part of their skincare routine which is a mistake! A face mist is much more than a water spray, it is a spray created to moisturize, refresh your face and provide other nutrients and properties to the skin. It can be used at any time of the day, after cleansing before and/or after moisturizing the skin, to seal makeup, after activities such as the gym, and when the weather is very humid. They can contain antioxidants, minerals, aromas and many other ingredients in the formula, which make it a suitable product for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. Today I will talk about a face mist by the French brand Caudalie, and if you are still not familiar with it you are totally missing on it! Like most brands, Caudalie has its own particular niche thanks to the unique way the company creates its products and its origin as well. It all started when the founding couple, who were heirs to a big vineyard, decided to adventure and do something more than just the usual products. All this after talking to an expert and finding out all the different benefits grape seeds contain, and how they are the strongest natural antioxidants. After doing more research and experimenting the couple began meeting up with pharmacists and business owners to promote their products and they became really successful because their products actually showed results. Their popularity increased over the years and they were able to release more and more products, all based on grapes. They are also known for creating the first vinotherapy spa, which combines the best of both worlds, wine and self-care. CAUDALIE - Grape Water This face mist has become a fan favorite and best seller thanks to its ability to instantly hydrate as well as moisturizing. toning and soothing the skin, giving it a fresh look and feeling as soon as you spray it on. Its main ingredient is extract of organic green grape and grape water. It has 0% parabens, sodium sulfate, mineral oils or animal related ingredients, making it completely cruelty free and vegan friendly. Unlike other skincare products that require a more in depth application in its use, with face mists it’s very easy, simply spray it over your face at any time of the day, including before and after applying makeup, this will also work as a setting spray helping your makeup last longer. I like it because it absorbs very quickly compared to some others face mists I’ve tried, because I’m not a huge fan of a dewy look. A tip I can suggest is to keep the bottle inside the fridge for maximum effect, the refreshing feeling will be even stronger!
i MIST summer!
I love to use facial mists in my daily skin care routines, and I love to also use them throughout the day. Now that it is summer and it’s getting hotter, my face and neck need pick-me-ups more frequently. I have oily and acne-prone skin, and I really dislike washing my face more than I need to because it tends to strip my face of the necessary oils that my skin produces, which in turn causes me to break out more. So, I turned to mists and facial sprays to work their magic on me! I used to be a big fan of rose water as my facial mists, but about a month or so ago, I decided to switch things up! I decided to see what are the other ingredients that I can use on my skin as replacement for my beloved rose water. This was when I came across the CAUDALIE - Grape Water. The grape extract really moisturizes and soothes the skin, while also nourishing it. I found that my skin became so soft and the glow was so prominent! It works for almost all the skin types, so I recommend this product if you are looking for a facial mist. In my routine, I like prepping my face for my oils and creams, or even makeup with this mist. I also like to set any makeup with this mist because of how refreshing and clean it feels on my skin! A tip with this product is that I suggest putting the grape water in the fridge especially now in the summertime to cool the face and neck down. Another way I use this product is by spraying my makeup brushes with this grape water to give a more dewy look to my foundation and to also intensify my eyeshadow colours! At $18, it is definitely a 10/10 product for me!
Summer Favs for Sensitive Skin
☀️ + my acne med leave my skin super sensitive to products. But I've tested two that I'm enjoying to keep my skin clean and hydrated, irritation free. Below, I broke down their key ingredients, how they felt to apply, and how my skin improved. CAUDALIE - Grape Water 🥝 FOR: All skin types- normal, oily, combo, sensitive, etc. It does not treat acne, but says it reduces redness, evens skin texture, and hydrates the skin. 🍇 INGREDIENTS: grape water / juice, and nitrogen Grape water contains polysaccharides, mineral salts, and polyphenols. Polysaccharides are molecules responsible for hydrating the upper layer of your skin. Polyphenols contain resveratrol, which act as antioxidants fighting free radicals. Meanwhile, mineral salts are calcium, potassium, and other important things you need to get in your diet- But put directly on your skin. 🌿APPLICATION: I mist the grape water whenever I feel hot, or sometimes just to feel its cooling effect. After applying, the cool feeling still tingles on my face for up 20 minutes. ✨EFFECT: It makes my skin feel bouncy after application- A good sign of hydration. It also made my skin look healthy without being oily. My skin is prone to spots of redness and allergies. But when I applied the spray, I did find the redness reduced in minutes. PS: Applying it over my makeup can reduce the look of too much powder. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser 🥝 FOR: Oily and Combination Skin. Aims to reduce pores, blemishes, and excess oil. 🍇 INGREDIENTS: The first ingredients include grape water, and Decyl Glucoside. That last one is a natural, gentle cleanser often used in baby shampoo- A good sign for sensitive skin. It has acne-fighting Salicylic Acid + It's also packed with a LOT of different oils known for their antibacterial properties, like Rosemary, Peppermint, Lavundula, and Lemon Balm oil. Rosemary helps control oil, and the Peppermint can soothe inflamed skin. 🌿APPLICATION: This cleanser has a light, runny texture. It sort of feels like fresh aloe, though not as jelly-like. A dime-sized amount is good for your whole face. After rinsing and drying, my skin did not feel dry or oily. ✨EFFECTS: Before this product, I was used to alcohol-based cleansers that made my skin feel dry after application. You know the kind of dryness that your finger skids on? That. As for oiliness, I think the cleanser has keep mine at bay. I have noticed my pores look cleaner, especially between my eyebrows and on my nose. Otherwise, my skin looks hydrated ⭐️FINAL VERDICT⭐️ If you have sensitive, combination skin, I think these products would make good staples in your routine. They're all light enough to feel comfortable, and do what they claim enough for skin that just needs daily maintenance. At $18 and $28, I think these products could really be worth it for someone whose skin is hyper sensitive like mine.
