I'm reaching a point in my life where I'm having to come to terms with the fact that my under eye area is not as bright as it once was. I've been trying to be kinder to this area and use less tugging when removing my makeup and use eye cream every evening. But the item that I realize makes the most difference are concealers. I'm always open to try new formulas and recently I tried the fentybeauty Pro Filt’r Concealer. ⁣ ⁣ First, let's look at the packaging. It comes in a simple plastic tube paired with a tapered doe-foot applicator. The off-white cap gives the packaging a chic and minimalist feel.⁣ ⁣ The main selling point, however, is that the concealer is available in 50 shades. I love how each of the 50 concealers was made to correspond with its matching foundation number. For example, I'm a 210 in the Fenty foundation, so I should be a 210 in the concealer. ⁣ ⁣ The formula is lightweight and creamy. Using Beautyblender, I did a few small strokes on each side of both eyes and blended my concealer towards the perimeter of my face. I'm amazed at how easily it melted into my skin and blend nicely without too much effort. ⁣ ⁣ In terms of coverage, this concealer is a medium for me. It's great for under-eye and general discoloration, but I wouldn't recommend it for covering up acne as the formulation is not pigmented enough. I've heard that this stays crease-proof on most skin types. However, my undereye area has folds naturally, then most of concealer I've tried is not crease-proof since my skin itself has creases. Especially when this concealer is on the dry down, it did tend to settle into lines eventhough I set it with powder.⁣ ⁣ The finish is something I'd call a luminous matte. It's not a concealer that's so matte that it cuts shine completely, but it's not glowy either. It bounces light around in a way that brightens skin while giving it a skin-like finish.⁣ ⁣ Overall, I’d say the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r concealer is great, but it's not the best concealer I’ve ever tried.⁣
