My favorite easy daily eye look
When I say I am no-frills, no-nonsense, usually-roll-out-of-bed-and-wear-no-makeup-during-quarantine-because-duh....I’m not kidding. HOWEVER, when we were in simpler times and I actually left my house for work on a daily basis, and saw people, I actually did my eye makeup. Now when I tell you I have sensitive, dry eyes I am so serious. I have rosacea which affects the face but also can cause super dry eyes, so I have to be careful about the products I use in that area. My favorite daily eye look includes 2 shadows, 1 brush, a liquid liner, and a mascara. Let me tell you THE DEETS... 1. BASE. I will sometimes use my concealer as my eye base but I usually just don’t use one at all. If you prefer to use one, go for it! 2. BASE SHADOW. I typically use one shadow all over applied with my fingertip. Today I used the shade “natural peaches” from the Tarte/Grav3yardgirl eyeshadow palette, which is no longer for sale but you can use any neutral matte shadow that matches your skin tone. 3. CREASE. I take the same bronzer I’m using on my face, dip my super fluffy Morphe M433 brush into it, and windshield-wiper it into my crease and kind of create an outer V shape with it. The bronzer I’m using today is the Fenty powder bronzer in “shady biz”: FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush I use this super fluffy brush since I have hooded eyes and need to create an overdramatic crease or else you wouldn’t see any shadow! 4. LOWER LASH LINE. After deepening my crease, I take the same brush and lightly run it under my lower lash line. Blend blend blend! 5. LINER. I use a brush-tip liquid liner to create a super tiny line with the smallest wing along the outer half of my upper lash line. I will usually use brown, but all I have is black. Today I used the URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen which is nice but it did sting my eyes a little bit. The pain went away fairly quickly though so I still use it. 6. MASCARA. I try to use a non-dramatic mascara that won’t clump. Any mascara will do! Today I used the new Lash Freak by Urban Decay URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara i haven’t been using it long enough to give a super detailed review but I really don’t like the wand. I might actually just use a different wand with it since I like the formula so far. I used this on my upper and lower lashes! What are your go-go products for your daily eye look? #CheriePartner

#faltlayoftheday Products Featured: 🖤Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Contour Powder This one is so good for contouring and sculpting! The undertones are not super warm/orangey or cool so its a great contouring shade. It is on the pricey side but I really like it and it’s lasting me a long time. One thing I love to do is to use a bronzer over this to give my skin a beautiful contour. 🖤Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Encre de Peau This is a really lightweight foundation with light-medium coverage. This one did not really work for my dry skin since it settled into my dry patches. It gives the skin a matte, powdery finish so I feel l those with oily skin will like it better. In my opinion, this is way too expensive and the shade range could be a lot better 😅 🖤Mac Cosmetics Matte Lipstick: Velvet Teddy This is a good nude lipstick but it runs a little too orange for my warmer skin type. I like to pair this with a cool, nude brown lipliner to balance out the shade and it becomes the perfect nude lip! 🖤Mac Cosmetic Powder Blush: Gingerly I really love this colour, it’s probably my favourite blush! It has a great formula that is buildable and blends really well into the skin. 🖤Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer: Private Island I love this shade for warming up my skin. It blends really well and looks so natural!

Fenty Beauty cream bronzer vs. stick bronzer
Fenty Beauty Amber Match Stix Matte Skinstick FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Matte Skinstick Reason for Recommendation: Great color and nice effects👍 Tone: Cold brownish-gray and slightly red The amber color looks heavy, but it looks brighter on the skin. It looks very natural after being evened out. It is a pure matte and a very simple cosmetic product. The texture is halfway between being soft and hard. There is no need to worry about breaking it when applying it directly. You also don't need to worry about the color not pigmented. It is very easy to blend. 😍You can simply apply it with your fingers if you are not putting on a lot of it. If you want to have heavier makeup, you should use a brush or a makeup sponge. I think this product is very suitable for makeup newbies because it can easily be covered up with foundation if you make any mistakes.😉 Fenty Beauty Shady Biz Bronzer FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer Reason for Recommendation: The powder is fine and doesn't clump easily. Tone: Warm yellow-brown It is also pure matte, so you can use it bravely. It blends well with the base makeup. As long as you don't put more than your base powder, there won't be clumping. 😉 Summary: #Amber Pros: Easy to use, good for newbies, mistakes can be covered up easily. Cons: It is time consuming because it takes some time to blend. #Shady Biz Pros: Fast and easy blend. Cons: Not easy to correct mistakes, so you need to be careful when applying.

Fenty Beauty’s Sun Stalk’r Bronzer isn’t my fave
This isn’t my favorite product from the Fenty Beauty line - I don’t think I got the right shade for my face and the color is a bit harsh for my skin tone. Shade aside, I feel like the bronzer doesn’t want to move across the face and it’s kind of hard to blend. I much prefer the Match Stix over this when it comes to looking “snatched,” as Rihanna would say. I will say though, the shade works really well for me when I use it on my eyes for a little eye contour moment and don’t feel like applying eyeshadow. Flawless Wedding Makeup Tutorial ⭐️
I just got married this past week, so I thought I would share how I did my makeup for my special day. I was going for a more natural/neutral look and focus on products that would hold up through my tears. My skin tone is fair with pink undertones My skin type is sensitive combo & acne prone EYES: SHADOW. The eyes are arguably the stars of the show. Eyes are also so personal—I have hooded eyes so I have to use darker shadows to manipulate my eye shape. I started off with Mac’s Paint Pot in Soft Ochre MAC - Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eyeshadow and set it with the Tartelette in Bloom Palette tarte - Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette shade “flower child.” Then I went in with “smarty pants” in my crease, creating a dramatic crease since my eyes are hooded. I continued deepening my crease and outer V with the shades “rebel” and “leader,” and blended out the upper edges with “charmer” on my brow bone. I mirrored the blend of “rebel” and “smarty pants” on my lower lash line. I finished off with “funny girl” on my lids! EYES: LINER + MASCARA: I feel like eyeshadow always looks a little funny until liner and lashes. I started off by giving myself a super thin line with the Urban Decay BLACK Perversion liner URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen . I have ultimate control since it has a brush tip. Shake before use! Then, I decided to use the Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer URBAN DECAY - Subversion Lash Primer Deluxe Sample I love this stuff! I finished off my lashes with Nars Climax NARS - Climax Mascara and the primer kept it LOCKED ON. FACE: I went a little rogue with my foundation and decided to try a sample I had of the Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation and I fell in love. With my elf “flawless foundation” brush, I used the shade “1” and it was a little pale for me but I bronzed up using the Fenty powder bronzer FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer in the shade “shady biz” and it worked perfectly with the Urban Decay blush brush. Then I went in and blended out the rare beauty blush in “grace” Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush , and since that is a matte blush I went in with my Becca liquid highlighter on my fingers over it to brighten it up BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter . NOTE: I didn’t use any setting spray or powder and makeup stayed on for 12+ hours! BROWS: my brows are pretty naturally full so I just lightly filled them in with e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil and e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel to hold them in place. LIPS: I also kept my lips simple since we wore masks all day—essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner all over and chapstick on top. #CheriePartner

My Makeup Journey - 1st satisfying full glam
I've been on a makeup journey for the past few months and I've been peaking in the last 2 weeks. I've become obsessed watching JuicyJas videos and buying lots of makeup! Some makeup was given to me from friends' ipsy bags, bought as Sephora with help from an associate (very beginning of journey) and a bulk was bought from Ulta, Walmart and Target based on reviews by JuicyJas and my own curiosity. This is my first really good, satisfying full glam look. I've had huge trouble with acne from one particular break out induced by stress about a month ago which really kickstarted my makeup experimentation. I used to wear barely anything but this breakout was super distracting and embarrassing as I am a scab picker and cannot leave things alone. My face has big red spots from picked scabs and dark scars. I have been doing this all my life and know they will go away and fade eventually. The skin finally almost healed. This whole look took about two hours which included my skin care routine, letting moisturizers and primers set, and washing sponges and cleaning brushes. As you can see I used a huge amount of products. They worked well to cover my acne and it was my first time doing a pink eyeshadow look. I loved it!! I only use a small amount of NARS foundation because it's pretty heavy which I don't like much but I do love adding a small amount over my troubled areas over my Maybelline foundation. I also used e.l.f. eyeliner tape to do the wing for the first time. It worked so well! I have been doing winged eyeliner for years and I'm still not very good at it so I was so happy to find out this product existed. I can do winged eyeliner but it takes much longer to get it just right without the tape. I'm excited for when I better at doing makeup and have less acne to cover up so I don't have to spend so much time getting ready but still get the same results. I am a very expressive person and would love to do full glam everyday! I love coordinating my eyes and lips with my outfits. I went to the movies with this look and wore a pastel pink beanie and pastel pink sneakers to match it. My next project is figuring out how to do my eyebrows!
