Fresh - Overhyped and ‘Meh’
Fresh - Overhyped and ‘Meh’
According to their About Us page on their website, Fresh “combines potent natural ingredients, ancient rituals, and modern science to create beauty products that perform with experiences that transform.” They use natural extracts/ingredients to target skin concerns, like dull skin, dry skin, and fine lines/wrinkles. I always see this brands PR on my timeline on insta and they have such a cute aesthetic. The roses line looks and smells so luxurious because of the actual roses in the products (especially the toner). There are positives about the brand, but the main problem I have is the amount of fragrance they put in their products. As soon as you open the packaging, you’re hit with a fragrant smell. I prefer my products to not have fragrance, plus I haven’t seen any results from using their products. Although they’re minis, these personally didn’t work for me so I’m not interested in purchasing anything from them (also they aren’t cruelty free). The fresh - Black Tea Firming and De-Puffing Eye Cream claims to firm and de puff the eye area using black tea complex (kombucha, black tea extract, blackberry leaf extract, and lychee seed extract) and Noni fruit juice. After using this mini for a month, I haven’t noticed anything other than general hydration benefits to my eye area. Although I don’t need any firming, I also haven’t noticed that my eye area looks any less puffy. It’s $68 for 0.5 oz / 15 mL. The fresh - Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer is a daily, lightweight moisturizer that works for any skin type that is powered by anti-oxidant rich lotus that targets the first signs of aging. It’s a basic moisturizer to me, it sinks in nice and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. But it’s also $19 for a 0.5 oz / 15 mL size, while the full size is $48 for 1.6 oz / 50 mL. It’s just too basic of a moisturizer for me to want to spend that much on it. Overall, I just think this brand is too expensive for me for the results they deliver and too much fragrance for me to want to use it.

Age delay eye cream doesn’t really delay aging
Age delay eye cream doesn’t really delay aging
This eye cream is meant to reduce signs of aging around the eyes, depuff, hydrate, and fight wrinkles. It has a thick texture in the jar but spreads easily so you only need the tiniest amount. Sinks in well and feels very light. I really love this eye cream but I’m also not under the delusion that this will do much for reducing wrinkles. It does hydrate and by hydrating the area, I’m sure wrinkles and lines appear smaller but it’s only temporary. I don’t have very puffy eyes so I can’t comment on the depuffing. This eye cream is expensive ($68) but it will last you forever. I really enjoy it and would recommend it to people who have the money for it and want something light but hydrating. I gave it a four out of five stars simply because the anti aging claim sounds like a lie to me. But overall it’s a good eye cream. fresh - Black Tea Firming and De-Puffing Eye Cream

The Truth About FRESH...
The Truth About FRESH...
I recently bought some Fresh skin care products. I feel that they lean more towards moisturizing and nourishing, so I wouldn't recommend them to those who are looking for products with firming and anti-aging effects. My recommendation: The black tea seriesfresh - Black Tea Shop Gift Set, lotus series fresh - Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Creamfresh - Lotus Anti- Aging Daily Moisturizer, and the peony series 😍 I'd recommend the black tea series to those aged around 25, but not at all for those over 30 since it only has a mild anti-aging effect. The extract combination from black tea, yeast and blackberry are kind of similar to the SK-II facial treatment essence and Estée Lauder micro essence in their bio-ferment effect, though it's not as effective as those other two. I don't feel the anti-aging effect and see no improvement in my pores, but it does brighten up my face and improves dullness. Both the lotus and the peony series are refreshing and moisturizing, suitable for young girls to use as moisturizing bases. Steer clear of: Rose Series, Creme Ancienne Soft Cream The Rose Series is quite useless. Besides smelling nice, it does nothing else. I feel like I am applying mineral water on my face when using this product. The Creme Ancienne Soft Cream is both expensive and doesn't really work for me. I have three 6ml medium samples but I won't buy it after I finish the 18ml because it's not worth the price.👎

Before trying this product, I thought most eye creams were a waste of money. I thought it was so little product sold that why not just use a regular moisturizer under my eyes. But after trying this eye cream, and seeing the instant brightening effects and feeling the rich creamy texture, I’m a true convert! Not only is this eye cream great for instantly depicting and brightening the under eye area, it also has anti aging ingredients as well. I would recommend this for anyone that is looking for a multi tasking eye product. I have tried caffeine eye creams which also help with de puffing but they offer no anti aging/ longevity benefits. The only downside of this product is the price, at 68 dollars for a half ounce it’s definitely expensive. However the fact that is addresses all skincare concerns around the eye area makes it a win for me! It’s great to try in a sample size like I did here, that way you can try before your splurge!

These three products have beco
These three products have become part of my routine and they will stay there! fresh beauty I use the Black Tea Kombucha Essence every morning after my toner. This is a must in my morning routine. At night, I adore the Black Tea Overnight Mask! It absorbs really fast into the skin and my skin is “baby soft” in the morning. Does “baby soft” make any sense? 😅 It is great on it own and blends well with face oils if you have a specific one you enjoy using! I was actually really scared to use this at first cause it is quite rich and thick. I thought it would cause me to breakout but I didn’t. I also don’t like using eye cream at night cause I think its too heavy so the black tea eye concentrate was perfect. I was planning on repurchasing this but they have just launched an eye serum so I may buy that when I finish this and then decide which one I would repurchase later. Skin type: Normal but prone to breakout

It’s expensive to be Fresh 🥴
It’s expensive to be Fresh 🥴
Fresh has been a brand that's pretty hyped in the beauty community for awhile. Around the holidays I got a set of products that included the black tea age delay eye concentrate. This eye cream claims to do it all-depuff, reduce fine lines and dark circles. The texture is creamy, however light and not dense. What I loved? This was easy to apply, and I've had experiences where it feels like I have to pat an eye cream on forever. Even when your face is still a little dewy. With that, it felt pretty appropriate to apply AM and PM. What didn't I love? I think there was some mild irritation in that my eyes would water a bit when using this product in a way I didn't experience with another eye cream I use and when I didn't use it at all. It wasn't debilitating but it was noticeable. I used this consistently, and the most noticeable change was that the darkness under my eyes wasn't as bad as usual. It didn't work miracles though and for $68? Just give me a whole new eye! I wouldn't repurchase since I can't in good conscience spend that much on an eye cream but it was an ok product.fresh - Black Tea Firming and De-Puffing Eye Cream
