Tinted lip balm for my latest Trip 💓
Tinted lip balm for my latest Trip 💓
Fresh Sugar lip balm: Tulip color satin finish look! Main ingredients: Sugar, Black current seed oils and Grapeseed oil help prevent moisture loss and smooth skin. Sugar lip balm is my Favorite tinted lip balm I carried with me anywhere on my vacation. I like the scent and taste, it is very pleasant. I prefer to use tinted lip balm over liquid lipstick because it gives my lips natural for my vacation sproty looks plus this product also have sun protection SPF 15. I can re apply it all day long and it doesnt make me feel heavy or dry my lip out. This is my selfie I took when I was finished hiking for an hours. And yet my lips still look healthy with a little of tinted. I like how it looks on my lips. Over all I give fresh sugar lip balm Tulip color 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One down: It didn’t hydrated my lips enough when temperature goes down. Also I think it is pricey for $24 lip balm in 0.15 oz fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 How about you guys, Any recommendations for tinted lips balm over winter?

fresh - Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in HONEY & SPICE 4/5 💮 Claims to nourish, moisturize, protect, smooth and tint - It does all of these things Application - Super smooth and easy Texture - Soft and thin Scent - Sweet but also a strange scent to it Parabens - No This is my favorite lip balm! These two colors are gorgeous, soft and yet colorful. It has SPF 15 SUNSCREEN (!) which is lovely and it repairs dried lips quickly. It’s long lasting on the lips and moisturizing while still giving a tint of color of your choosing. The only reason why I cannot give it a full score is because of the smell. There’s something I dislike about it, I cannot point out what it is and it doesn’t particularly smell like something I could be able to explain. But it doesn’t stop me from wearing it, I can only feel it when I apply it! 100% recommend! I also wish they could extend their shade range a bit more to these type of colors above but really 2 shades that fit is enough for the average person. Top swatch is SPICE, bottom swatch is HONEY

Meghan Markle (and my) Favorite Tinted Lip Balm
Meghan Markle (and my) Favorite Tinted Lip Balm
I have no shortage of lip products - I have tried just about every lip product that is put in my path and, well, Meghan Markle swears by this so I just had to try it! Fresh’s Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 is advertised as a hydrating and smoothing lip balm that offers sheer, buildable color with long-lasting moisture and essential sun protection. It contains sugar, a natural humectant known to prevent moisture loss; a blend of nourishing oils to moisturize, smooth and soften, Vitamins C & E to protect the skin and Beeswax to preserve moisture. It has been proven to keep lips moisturized for 24 hours. The color is sheer and buildable, meaning that with one swipe, you can have a soft, barely-there hue. Add another swipe or two for a deeper, more vibrant look. I purchased this product in a number of shades about six months ago, not quite knowing what kind of color payoff I could expect from this product. Let me tell you - THERE IS COLOR PAYOFF! Grab the purple-ish Berry hue and you will get a purple-ish Berry! There is no false-advertising on this product, that’s for sure! That goes for the moisture that is promised as well. This product definitely moisturizes the lips and keeps them feeling great all day! However, the one thing that I will say is that, if your lips are chapped in any way, the tinted/colored options will draw attention to the chapped lips. The color will get trapped in the chapped portion of the lips and will draw the eye to this. Therefore, if your lips are noticeably chapped, I would refrain from using the tinted products until your lips are healed or I would most definitely consider exfoliating them first before using the tinted options. At $24 per tube, these are not exactly the cheapest lip balms on the market so I’d definitely make sure you buy these in person so you can make sure that the color that you select is the right shade for you! The last thing that you’d want to do is get home and decide that you spent $24 on the wrong color for your skin tone! BUT, when you choose the right shade, this will be one of the best $24 purchases you’ll make! I’d definitely recommend grabbing a tube of Fresh’s Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15! Just make sure that you are 100% sure that you grab the right shade before you buy! fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream Review
The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream Review
☕️ A cup of Joe to start the day (I actually woke up at around 11 😏 'tis a good day). ☕️ I have been using @theinkeylist caffeine eye cream ever since I bought it during the @sephora VIB sale. I have been quite enjoying this cream! The consistency of it is more serum-like in that it feels quite more like a gel-cream rather than thick rich eye creams, which is what I look for in eye creams. On the Sephora website, this eye cream claims to “work wonders for the under-eye area” by assisting with de-puffing and brightening dark circles. It contains caffeine (of course) to combat puffiness, beautifeye (which is trademarked) to help with dark circles, and matrixyl 3000 (also trademarked) peptide to help support collagen production. I looked this product up on the cosdna website and it didn’t have any red flags or any ingredients that would cause acne or irritations which is a plus since I am very prone to milia around the under-eye area. I haven’t been using it for too long (about 4 days) but I absolutely love it. During that time of the month, my eye bags become seriously puffy as well as my lips. It’s pretty noticeable so my mom always points out that I started my period, just by looking at my eyes 😩. I started using this in the morning and it feels so good to just massage it into the under-eye area. It absorbs really well and the consistency is similar to the it’s skin eye creams that I love so much. It was hydrating and I definitely felt the cooling sensation calm down the puffiness. It didn’t make it completely go away but it just felt nice and I really enjoyed the feeling. I definitely think that this eye cream is worth the money because it was like $10 for 15 ml. 15ml is not a lot but I mean, it's for your under-eyes, you don’t need a lot of product there. I have a feeling I might repurchase this because I just the feeling it leaves. 5/5 recommend! A+++++! PS the last pic is just for my own giggles 😋 This was my second product from this brand and I definitely need to try more. What are your experiences with this brand? Any favorites?THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream

Drunk Elephant LaLa Retro Whipped Cream Review
Drunk Elephant LaLa Retro Whipped Cream Review
As a dry skin girl whose face is basically the sahara desert 🔥, my skin craves a moisturizer that prevents against water loss 💧and can repair my moisture barrier (due to my tretinoin/acid use, and just the cool winter weather)❄️.  . . I personally look for moisturizers that contain humectants💧 such as HA, ceramides, and glycerin, as well as antioxidants☀️. I also look for thicker creams (more moisturizing) that contain emollients (which are lubricating ingredients that soften and smooth the skin) such as non-fragrant plant oils🌹 (stay away from ones with fragrance ESPECIALLY for sensitive skin) and a mix of butters (shea/cocoa/mango) and other oils (marula/rosehip/primrose/argan etc). . . LaLa Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant 🎀🐘 is one of my favorite moisturizers, especially come fall🍁🍂/winter season❄️. It is formulated with a ceramide complex (for barrier support), six african oils (for intense nourishment and moisturization), and sodium hyaluronate/hyaluronic acid crosspolymer (smaller molecular weight than HA so it can penetrate the skin more deeply). These ingredients, plus many more, promise to rescue your dry and dehydrated skin and provide intense moisture and replenishing barrier support.🙌🏼 . . The product comes out of a nice, airless pump (which makes it super hygienic). It has a delectable, whipped, airy texture that melts upon contact with your skin. Although it is thick, it does not feel heavy on the skin, and absorbs easily upon contact. A little goes a long way with this product. I find the blend of oils (marula, baobab, and passion fruit) to be extremely nourishing for my dry, thirsty skin. It works well as both an am☀️ and pm🌙 moisturizer to keep my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and silky smooth all day. I would 100% recommend this product for folks with dry/sensitive/flaky skin because it gets the job done and really works to hydrate and repair your skin’s barrier. . I actually came across this product when I was really struggling with a bad bout of seborrheic dermatitis that was causing painful drying flakes on my chin and cheeks for over a month; and literally no moisturizer was helping the issue. My skin was so irritated and raw; and I was extremely embarrassed because I wasn’t able to cover the scaly skin with any makeup. It got so bad to where I didn’t want to go out in public or see any friends because I just felt gross. Lala Retro was the only moisturizer that didn’t irritate my skin and actually helped decrease the flakiness and really helped me regain my confidence. . . The product does cost $60; but despite its higher price point, it is a cream I will always go back to. 🥰For me, it is worth the price and I will continue to repurchase consistently. If you have oily, or normal skin with no major skin concerns, this product may be a little on the pricier side and not for you. For that reason, I would give it 4.5 stars⭐️ instead of the full 5. All About Toners
All About Toners
Toners: What are they, and why should you always include them in your routine?🧐👩🏼‍🔬 . . First let’s break down the difference between toners and astringents. Astringents are the old-school toners we used in our teens; the ones that had alcohol and salicylic acid as the main ingredients and caused our skin to tingle and feel very dry and taut😣. While they may work well at removing oil from oily skin types, they wreaked havoc on my dry skin.😓 . . However, the new generation of toners are typically alcohol-free and can contain the following: witch hazel, acids, glycerin, anti-oxidants, and anti-inflammatories- something for all skin types✅. Applied after cleansing, (using a cotton ball, or tapping in with your bare hands: my favorite), toners quickly penetrate and hydrate the skin💦. Think of them as a primer for the rest of your skincare routine!🙌🏼 . . Another benefit of toners is their ability to balance your skin’s pH levels🧪 (a healthy acid mantle has a pH of 4-7). As your skin produces oil, it becomes acidic, so cleansers are formulated to have a higher pH (more basic) to combat the oiliness. However, after cleansing🧴, your skin becomes dry, and without added moisture 💧will start to produce more oils again, bringing the pH down in a never ending loop.🌀 . . This is where the toner comes in! Most toners are formulated to have an optimal pH level to balance the skin after cleansing. . . Let’s break it down even more: . 1️⃣Skin is oily= low pH, too acidic . 2️⃣Facial cleanser= high pH (basic/alkaline), raises your skin’s pH (become too alkaline) . 3️⃣Apply toner after cleansing (pH between 4-7), lowers your skin’s pH and averages around a pH of 5.5 . . One of my all-time favorite toners is @lancomeofficial Tonique Confort💕💦! My dry skin laps this up after cleansing. It’s definitely a thicker toner, think like a liquidy-lotion, so it might be a little heavy for oilier skin folks. It is alcohol-free and very soothing and gentle on my skin. It’s the perfect prep-step that maximizes the absorption of future products! . . @freshbeauty #lancome #toniqueconfort #pinkwednesday #freshsugar #sugarlips
