Perfect Moisturizer & SPF in one!
I was very pleased with this sample from Murad. I don’t usually have high hopes when it comes to an SPF and moisturizer in one. But this left my face perfectly moisturized and left no tacky, thick residue that an SPF can sometimes do. Although it is safe to use on all skin types I would say it’s probably more geared for normal to dry skin. It’s very thin and absorbs easily. A nice creamy formula. I only took one ⭐️ away for its small amount of added fragrance, not detectable by the nose. Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++ also worked great under my makeup. I almost felt like I was applying a primer as it absorbed so well. My makeup did not pill or run. I would definitely pick this one up for me as an indoor SPF. I choose to wear SPF indoors as well and this would be a great option to cover both my moisturizer and SPF needs. There are sometimes I feel I need a bit heavier of a moisturizer when working with my makeup, so it wouldn’t work for those times. Have you tried this one out. It is a little more expensive at $65 for 1.7 oz but it’s still going on my wishlist! 🍊 Much ❤️ skinnies 🍒

Murad love or hate?
So I have a love hate relationship with Murad, here is why Love: you know I love their stress cream, I love their vitamin C cleanser it smells like oranges and it’s more of a creamy cleanser and doesn’t dry out my skin. I also love the spf moisturizer they have too. I feel like it double protects my skin, I always put on more sunscreen after it Hate: their glycolic vitamin C serum? Yeah it has around 10% glycolic acid, which is not safe to use everyday AM and PM like it says in the directions, otherwise just using it as a exfoliator is nice. Another thing I hate? The price!! Holy crap this brand is expensive, speaking as a college student with a part time retail job. Yeah no way Jose. I would recommend these products that I loved like the stress cream and spf cream and the cleansers, their salicylic one clears up my mask acne! As I was saying I’d recommend this stuff but only if you can find it on sale.
Rate my skincare routine please!!
I look at my first post and I’m just like WOW! My skin has gone a long way especially with my dark spots. Summer 🏝 to Fall Skin Care Switch Up! 🍁
Hey Babes! As we transition from summer to fall, make sure your skin care routine changes too. In the fall, as the weather changes, so will your skin care routine. Fall months are colder and less humid, so you need to adjust your skin care regimen accordingly. By switching your routine according to the season, you’re allowing your skin to function better by keeping your barrier healthy and protected. Change your cleanser to more of a creamy or hydrating base. The air is already going to dry your skin out, so avoid using foam cleaners that strip your skin or even gel cleaners that are water based. The green tea cleanser helps keep my oily skin at bay and is never aggressive! Opt in for using a rich moisturizer so your skin can lock in oils to keep your barrier protected. Ingredients like glycerin and ceramides are always winners. If you need barrier protection, turn to Vaseline or Aquaphor. I like using the Sunday Riley one because the vitamin c in it brightens my skin and protects from environmental damage. Do not exfoliate as often. You’re still going to exfoliate weekly, but the dryer climate can strip your skin making it sensitized and exfoliating too often will make it worse. Add an extra serum into your routine. Hyaluronic acid, retinol and vitamin c are always winners! It might sound crazy, but I feel a difference in my skins texture when I accidentally skip a serum and I instantly regret it. As always, don’t skip the SPF! UV stays are still present and you do not want to age faster. Skin care is all about preventative maintenance. :) Some of these products are on the pricier side, but it’s worth the money to have a good, solid, regimen. They key is to use the right ingredients and product texture to gain the proper results. #cheriepartner #summertofall

Vitamin C Skincare Routine for Acne Prone Skin!🍋
This is my current vitamin C morning skincare routine! Using Vitamin C is something I've recently started to participate in. For a while I was avoiding it, and constantly just layering on actives and exfoliators to help my oil production & acne. Turns out...that's what made it worse! Once I started consistently incorporating vitamin C, my skins texture and complexion improved tremendously! It also helped my skin to become LESS oily, because it rebalanced my skin. Resulting in my skin not having to overcompensate oil anymore. Murad - Essential-C Cleanser 🍋 It's a good gentle, morning cleanser, and makes my skin soft afterwards. It has Vitamins C, A, and E, which together help prevent skin damage, conditions, and nourishes skin. It's a gel cleanser but also foams up a bit, and has an amazing citrus scent!! I probably won't repurchase because I enjoy trying new cleansers once I run out. Plus, I wouldn't say the full size is worth $40, based on the ingredient list quality. Next, if I want to continue on the vitamin C cleanser train, I may try the DERMA•E - Even Tone Brightening Cleanseror the insta natural - Vitamin C Cleanser, Anti-Aging NATURIUM - Vitamin C Complex Serum 🍊 This is an amazing Vitamin C serum! It isn't oil based which I love, and it's made up of a complex of highly stabilized vitamin C. As well as vitamin E, and a bioactive fruit blend to brighten, and shield skin from environmental stressors. It absorbs well and doesn't feel sticky! It's for sure a catch for you dry skin people! I dont know if I would recommend if you're super oily, but some people say otherwise! But in just a few weeks, I noticed a more even and healthier looking complexion for sure. #HoneyLab - 5 in 1 Vitamin C and Manuka Honey Face Serum[products]#[FiveStars] 🍯 WOW. I'm OBSESSED. This was a product I had never heard of and picked up from TJ max for $4.99! It's amazing for Oily skin! it feels a bit sticky after application but when I apply a moistuizer afterwards its fine. This has 5 different bee produced ingredients, Manuka Honey, Propolis, Beeswax, Honey extract, and Royal Jelly. This also contains Kakadu Plum, which is an Australian fruit rich in vitamin C. This also has hyaluronic acid, Apple fruit extract, green tea, Aloe Leaf Juice and more! This helped balance my skins PH level, lighten dark spots and kill off acne causing bacteria! On HoneyLabs website it's $20 but on Amazon its only $10...just make sure if you purchase off Amazon its the legit product! Places like Tj Max, Marshall's and Ross also carry HoneyLab products. Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++ 🥭 I really like the smell and consistency of this Moisturizer. This is also a Mini I got in the same set as the cleanser. It's a great way to top off my vitamin C routine. But I wouldn't say there's anything TOO special about it, especially since the full size is $65 for 1.7 ounces! Plus I noticed a bit of pilling.
Okay! So recently, due to my wonderful Ipsy Glam Bag Plus subscription, I have been over loaded with these pricey face creams. These babies go for 65$ A PIECE!!! 😱 which is more than I usually spend on face creams...but these I got for a fraction of the price. So let’s get down to business!!! First up! Murad - Age Reform Perfecting Day Cream SPF30 50ml ABOUT: Anti-aging SPF moisturizer that will hydrate and restore your skin. Will help restore suppleness and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Contains broad spectrum SPF! Help protect against UVA’s and UVB’s. Use in the AM, apply liberallly to face, neck, and chest. This was the first one I received, about 2 months ago. I was concerned that this would be too heavy for me, I really like gel consistency moisturizers 🧴. I was using Clinique’s moisture surge both AM and PM, but after my first use my Clinique cream became strictly my PM moisturizer. It says it is light weight, but obviously it’s heavier than the gel consistency I was used to. It goes on nicely, you can definitely smell that SPF! After application my face did have a shine to it comparable to when you apply sunscreen. Works well under primers and makeup. Will I buy it again? I would say yes but the full price is a little more than I want to spend....but I fell in love with it soooo... there is a good chance to repurchase. ❤️ NEXT UP! Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++ ABOUT: This stuff is PACKED with all good things!! Another broad spectrum SPF moisturizer with vitamin C and potent antioxidant ginkgo bill a leaf extract which is great for protecting your skin from environmental aggressors. Doesn’t point out specific time to use: my husband uses this twice a day. Apply liberally to face, chest, and neck. I received this one a month ago. I personally have not tried it but....MY HUSBAND DOES! A few months ago I told him his face was terribly dry and he needed a moisturizer. He bought something for men by neutrogena and he had skin irritation. So he started using the Murad - Age Reform Perfecting Day Cream SPF30 50ml and was okay with it but his skin is SUPER oily and the shiney-ness stuck AROUND! But he didn’t complain. But he definitely likes this stuff A LOT more! He says it smells like oranges 🍊 and the cream is not as heavy as the perfecting one that I use and is soaks in quickly. He does not do a lot for his skin so having a moisturizer that combines SPF and vitamin C is a great product for him. It has definitely corrected his overall tone and keeps his skin hydrated. I can’t get much more I go out of him 😂! 🥰These are both wonderful products, only reason I do not use the essential-c cream is because I use a vitamin-c serum in my routine anyway, and too much vitamin c is vitamins waisted! 🤗 they do last a good while so even though it’s early to tell, it could be a great value for the anount!
