Highlights
Why Cherie Love ItA moisturizing and volumizing lip balm that helps rejuvenate and nourish delicate lips. The key oil ingredients in it help provide deep moisture, antioxidant properties as well as a youthful glow.
What Else You Need to KnowSpiked with avocado and mongongo nut oils plus a tripeptide and sea fern algae, this buttery balm provides a visibly plumper, better-defined lip line and softens rough, parched lips. Additionally, antioxidant-rich green tea leaf and vitamin C neutralize environmental aggressors that cause premature, visible signs of aging. This lip balm is free of essential oils, silicones, and fragrance. Drunk Elephant is committed to using only ingredients that either directly benefit the health of the skin or support the integrity of their formulations. The brand focuses on healthy pH levels, formulations the skin recognizes, small molecular structure that’s easily absorbed, and effective active ingredients that also support the skin’s acid mantle. All of their products are designed to be mixed together—what Drunk Elephant calls making a smoothie. (This is true for all of their products except their sunscreen, Umbra, which sits on top of the skin, protecting it from UV damage.) The result is skin that is reset to its happiest, healthiest state. Drunk Elephant is a supporter of IEF (International Elephant Foundation) and is cruelty-free.

Activated Charcoal Fluoride Free Whitening Toothpaste
hello-Activated Charcoal Fluoride Free Whitening Toothpaste
After reading a series of rave
After reading a series of rave reviews about the drunk elephant Lippe Balm, I decided to test it out. Created without alcohol, silicones or fragrance, this soothing concoction instead boasts avocado, cranberry and marula oils, as well as sea fern algae, to inject serious moisture when needed. Meanwhile mongongo oil provides antioxidant protection to help ward off sun and environmental damage, while tripeptide-1 provides a very slight plumping effect. Despite the host of skincare-friendly ingredients, though, for me the key to whether I love or hate a lip balm generally lies in its texture… too waxy and the product lies on top of the lip without absorbing or adding much benefit, while too thin a formula can end up sliding around. I’m pleased to report that, for me at least, Drunk Elephant’s offering represents a happy medium- feeling hydrating enough that lips feel comfortable, but equally not so oily that the balm travels where it’s not wanted. Its unusual shape- short and wide rather than a tube or a tub like most balms- also make this product extremely easy to fit into even the teeniest handbag, ensuring that I can top up on the go. Plus points: Natural ingredients. Seriously hydrating. Conveniently sized. Cruelty free Minuses: At £15 this isn’t the cheapest lip balm ever but equally not as expensive as similar offerings from other luxury brands.

drunk elephant review with fungal acne🐘💗
drunk elephant review with fungal acne🐘💗
as someone with fungal acne, buying the same products can be reaaallyyy boring. so this is my review of drunk elephant as someone with fungal acne!! * disclaimer, NONE of these products are fungal acne safe!! use at your own risk * DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser this cleansing balm doesn’t really emulsify when you activate it with water, leaving a really oily feeling😕 and doesn’t remove all my makeup DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample this is a really nice gentle foaming cleanser... and thats pretty much it. DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum i love this serum! its a lovely gel serum that absorbs in quickly and is greak at oil control DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum this serum is a little tricky, i haven’t really noticed a difference in my skin in terms if brightness, i do have a bit of dark spots and they haven’t budged. not to mention this formulation is a rip off of the SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Cream this is a thicc moisturizer that surprisingly doesn’t leave my oily skin looking greasy af. its a good moisturizer for dry combo skin! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream this moisturizer feels exactly like the lala retro... its just 8 dollars more expensive DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask this mask burns so bad the first 20 seconds but then it settles down. i really havent seen a difference in my skin so DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil ive only used this oil a few times but wow it really makes your skin feel super soft and dewy DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm i love this lip balm but its 16 dollars and the claim are completely false! in conclusion, i wont be repurchasing anymore of drunk elephant products because in reality they are just good products... nothing too special ESPECIALLY for the price. they aslo didn’t want to provide information about the percentage of black employees during the Pull Up Or Shut Up movement so yeah. their aesthetic is cute but ive grown out of this phase 😀 like and save!! xo melanie

Worth or Not? DE has given me the kissing lip💋💋💋
Worth or Not? DE has given me the kissing lip💋💋💋
Autumn is coming these days as the climate gets dry. My lip is the first part of my body that reminds me of the season change as it gets dry, rough, chapped, and fine lines appear obvious. There is always dead skin on my lip, which annoys me.  In order to regain my moisturized and soft lip, I start to look for great lip treatment products. If you have seen my reviews before, you must have found that I’m a real Drunk Elephant fan so I noticed their Lippe Balm. I compared it with other lip treatment products and out of the brand loyalty and the cute package, I bought DE’s Lippe balm on Sephora for $18 DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm It really surprised me. The texture is very nourishing and moisturizing. It contains avocado oil which is an excellent source of antioxidants, Vitamin A, D, and E. In addition, it has mongongo nut oil. The combination of the oils provides enough intense moisture and softens rough, chapped lips, helping to maintain lip skin’s healthy barrier function. The balm is free of fragrance. I use it in 2 ways, sheer lip balm/mask and lip primer. When I feel the lip very dry in the daytime, I will apply it to lips as needed. Before sleep, I will apply it heavily on my lips and it will promise a hydrated lip the next day. I also use it alone as a primer under lipsticks for a silky-smooth application. It always goes on smoothly and never gives me a feeling of uncomfortable oily. What’s more, the product intro tells that this balm could be used under or around our delicate eye area to hydrate and visibly smooth crow’s feet. It means you pay $18 for both a lip balm and eye cream. I have not tried it in my eye area but I’m planning to give it a try.  I think DE’s Lippe Balm is truly effective and really worth the price. I can’t recommend it more. Just give it a try!

Back to Bare Minimum Basics ✨
Back to Bare Minimum Basics ✨
It’s so easy to get caught up in hype and buy every beautiful, well marketed and high-tech product out there. Lately my skin *normal to combination skin/ ultra-sensitive* hasn’t been the same. (I’ve been pretty blessed to have no problems with my skin aside from allergies to ingredients.) I don’t know if it’s lack of vitamins, changing my diet (I went from keto to vegan), or just stress but my 7 step skincare routine isn’t working for me the way it was. So I’ve cut back to using my tried & trues DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil for moisturizing & DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm for hydrating my lips and under eye area. They’re both “clean”- with one to few ingredients, no fragrance (of course), and just the essentials (not including my cleanser and SPF) I feel like the basics can be overlooked but it’s nice sometimes to just cleanse, and moisturize. My skin still doesn’t feel the same, and I honestly don’t believe it’s from the products I’m using at this point but from diet change and stress. Staying home all these months can have a huge impact on all of us, especially with our skin. Lack of going outside (vitamin D) and the stress of the pandemic as well as all the changes can effect the way our skin was months prior. If you’ve gone back to basics and still have issues with your skin (mine looks dull and I’m breaking out) try to change some different factors aside from skincare like: 🦋Dust your home & change your air filter, especially if you live off a busy street- air pollutants may be circulating your house that your skin wasn’t used to prior to social distancing 🦋 Get a skin-friendly but still covid protective mask 🦋 Try to spend less time working on the computer & if you can’t try to get a blue light filter. Turn off LED light in your computer in settings. Long-Term exposure to blue UVE light can cause eye stain (EYE WRINKLES!!) & long term damage to your skin 🦋 Try to spend 30 minutes to an hour outside w SPF on (of course) 🦋 SLEEP! Having a set sleep-wake pattern is so important for your skin & finally... 🦋 Take supplements (best suggested by a doctor) for your needs! I take NEOCELL - Super Collagen which is absolutely amazing but tastes horrible ... my skin looks so much better after three weeks straight of using it again. I hope this helps someone ✨ Let me know what you guys do when your skin starts to act up or use a back to basics tag 🥰

$18 LIPPE BALM—WORTH IT🐘??
$18 LIPPE BALM—WORTH IT🐘??
I was so excited to try DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm out because so many are obsessing over it. I went in having high expectations (my mistake) and was kind of disappointed. The balm itself works well but no different compared to other drugstore balms. For that reason, I will most likely not repurchase. PROs: * Keeps lips moisturized * Multi-purpose can be used as an eye balm * Not oily CONs: * Smell is not pleasant (smells chemically even though it is “clean” at Sephora) * Price point is higher for a lip balm that works identical to others I would compare this balm to the PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick They have similar textures but in my opinion, Palmer’s Swivel Stick smells better. What are your thoughts? ⬇️
