Are Dr Jart Tiger Drops as good as people say?
Are Dr Jart Tiger Drops as good as people say?
When it comes to tackling redness, Dr. Jart’s Cicapair Line has become everyone’s go-to. I decided to try the brand’s Tiger Grass Camo Drops SPF 44, which doubles as a serum and color corrector to “soothe the look of redness and turns on skin's glow,” according to Dr. Jart. More about the product: Dr. Jart's ultra-lightweight revitalizing serum uses advanced technology with centella asiatica extract to help soothe the look of irritated skin that has been sensitized by makeup application and external stressors. An antioxidant green-energy complex, including chlorophyll, nurtures skin and protects from environmental damage with SPF 44. What’s inside: - Centella Asiatica Complex: Comforts and supports sensitized skin. - Herbs Complex and Minerals Solution: Strengthen skin and relieve stresses. - Green Energy Complex: Energizes and supports fatigued skin. My review: I’m someone that suffers from mild rosacea and has always been redness-prone. I must admit, I was expecting this product to completely erase all signs of redness from my T-zone, but that’s not the case here. It’s more-so a product to neutralize and tone down redness. So while it may help you achieve a more even complexion, it won’t erase your redness/unevenness. Texture wise, it’s a lovely lightweight serum and it blends so nicely into the skin, giving it a soft matte finish while still allowing your skin’s natural dewiness and texture to shine through. It also works well with makeup, and if you’re looking for more coverage, I recommend adding a little dab of concealer or foundation to the areas that you want to even out. Disappointment aside, I really like this for a color corrector and have been using it on no makeup days for some SPF and to tone down my T-zone. Has anyone else tried Dr. Jart’s Tiger Grass Camo Drops? I’d love to hear your thoughts/tips!

Mixed Review on @drjart tiger grass camp drops I bought these with a @sephora giftcard because I’ve heard great things about the brand, cica as an ingredient, and specifically the product itself. I tested it in store and liked how the product turns from green to beige upon oxidation. Pros: This product is non-irritating and I can tell both an immediate and lasting effect on my redness. The beige coloring helps immediately to cover baseline redness and I can tell that it also soothes my skin to keep me from getting redder. I also love that it has SPF so if I don’t have many blemishes I will use this as a last step. Cons: I don’t know if I got a wonky bottle but from first use I’ve had trouble getting enough product in the applicator. It constantly feels like I’m scraping the bottle to get some out. Because of that I’m frustrated because this product is not cheap ($46/ 1oz). I also feel that it’s kinda thick so I wonder if it will clog my pores/slide off my face with layering products or in the heat (neither or which I’ve really tried). Finally, this product works for my pale skin tone but I wonder about anyone with a bit more melanin. To my knowledge there is only one formulation so I can’t imagine it works for all. FINAL THOUGHTS: This product does what it says it will. I like it but I don’t love it. I will be looking for alternatives before I repurchase. What products do you use to calm/mask redness during the day?

redness solution ♥️
redness solution ♥️
This product is an “ultra-lightweight” serum & color-corrector that reduces redness and “turns on skin’s glow”. It has SPF 44 and claims to be good for all skin types. The texture is very thin/lightweight and a little goes a long way! The second picture is only 2 drops of product! The entire Dr. Jart Cicapair line is bomb, but this product is my fave! I use this before primer/makeup and it melts into the skin so nicely. I definitely notice a difference with my redness in my cheeks when using this! I also love that it uses a dropper to apply and also has SPF. It is much thinner than Color Correcting Treatment from the same line but not quite the same payoff in coverage/color correcting (but that’s to be expected). It is a bit pricey ($46 for 1 oz), but it is a dual purpose since it’s both a serum and color-corrector. A little bit goes a long way too. I would definitely recommend this product and it’s worth it for me because it works well! Just make sure to compare this to the treatment mentioned above as they do different things! Dr. Jart for Redness!
Dr. Jart for Redness!
Redness problem? Not anymore! The entire Dr. Jart line is made for you 😍 I’ve never seen a dermatologist but I seem to think that I suffer from roseca because my cheeks are always always red. Even with all my skincare knowledge, no amount of moisturizer and hydration would make it go away! I bought these Dr. Jart Camo Drops as a recommendation from a few skincare friends, and because not only does it combat redness - it also contains SPF! Idk about y’all but I’m all for compacting my skincare routine into as few steps as possible. It’s marketed to help soothe the skin and repair your barriers while also masking redness and protection from the sun, environment, and pollution. I’ve been using it on and off for about 3 weeks, and from my experience it’s a good product - it masks redness phenomenally, it’s almost like applying foundation or concealer! It applies green and blends in to your skin tone to match it. However I also felt like a greaseball whenever I wear this 😭 I wish I didn’t but I did! I want to love this product so bad but it makes me feel so greasy, I’d rather just put makeup on to cover my redness! I’ve never had any bad reactions from my skin, and I know other people that love this product so maybe if you have dry skin, I would recommend this to- but if you have oily skin I would stay away! For this reason I’m sadly giving this product a 2/5 because I don’t think it’s worth the $46 I spent :(

SKINCARE PRODUCT FOR REDNESS
SKINCARE PRODUCT FOR REDNESS
@drjart’s camo drops is marketed as a color correcting serum that neutralizes redness. It’s not like a typical serum that you would normally apply before most of your skincare products. This is supposed to be applied as the last step of your routine, after sunscreen but before makeup. It contains SPF 44 but I still apply sunscreen underneath for extra protection, because I don’t use enough of it to be sure that my skin will actually be protected. It has a very thin texture that is quite runny, which I prefer because it’s easier to blend into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy/tacky. It starts off green but turns beige as soon as you begin to rub it in, which helps even out your overall complexion. Aside from neutralizing redness, I find that it also helps soothe my sensitive skin, which gets irritated VERY easily (the beauty of centella asiatica). I’ve been using this product for a few months now and I would say that it does a really good job of neutralizing my redness and evening out my skin tone. I like using it the most on days when I don’t feel like wearing makeup, but still want to look decent and achieve the typical “no makeup, makeup” look. Because it doesn’t really have any coverage, I usually use a concealer for my hyperpigmentation and under eyes. For someone who has sensitive, acne-prone, this product has surprisingly been really good to me and has not broken me out or make me look like a greaseball. I wouldn’t say it’s hydrating but it’s also not drying. I think all skin types can benefit from this product, especially if you are super prone to redness, of course. I would also say that it is decently priced, not too cheap nor too expensive. A little bit goes a long way so it will for sure last you a long time. Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Camo Drops SPF 44

If you are looking to neutralize red skin, you should try the Cicapair Tiger Grass Camo Drops. I use this as a makeup base after I apply my moisturizer - it’s very lightweight. It’s amazing how the drops instantly neutralize redness, and give your skin a glow. I also think my face looks looks less tired with this product. How it works: The serum and color corrector hybrid relieves redness upon contact and also camouflages its appearance at the same time. Its water-like formula gets its green hue from ingredients like centella asiatica and chlorophyll. But don't worry, it turns to beige as it makes contact with skin to neutralize and revitalize, so your complexion looks more even-toned and glowier too.
