What It IsA lightweight moisturizing toner that leaves skin supple, moisturized, and ready to absorb the next products in your regimen.
What Else You Need to KnowCeramides are our skin’s natural protection barrier. They are composed of intercellular lipids that act as skin’s defense against environmental aggressors and maintain moisture levels. Think of your skin as a brick wall: when it is first built, it is strong and sturdy. Over time, it needs fortification to remain strong. As we age, we lose ceramides, leading to a decrease in elasticity and moisture. This product is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner.

🔎 FEMME FINDS: $83 worth of DR. JART+ for $20
Hi Cherie Community! I am starting a new series that I’m titling “Femme Finds” (based on my username) where I share my scavenges for mid/higher end products at a discounted price. Browsing skincare in places like Marshall’s, TJ Maxx and Target is one of my favorite hobbies so I hope you enjoy these reviews! DR. JART+ is a pricier Korean skincare brand originally known for their face masks and now has a Ceramidin skincare line sold at Sephora. I got this Cera-Care Experiment Kit ($83 value) originally sold at TJ Maxx for $50 now selling at a discounted price of $20 for the whole set! Here are my thoughts: Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream (full-size!!) Original Price: $48 This one comes in it’s full size, worth more than twice the $ I paid for the entire box. Ceramides are known for preventing trans epidermal water loss- using it as a thicker cream like this one is perfect in my PM routine. A little goes a long way but doesn’t feel too heavy for the summer either! Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Facial Mask(full-size!!) Original Price: $6 per sheet The box gives you one of these and I haven’t tried it yet but I have used the original Dr JART+ masks before and lemme tell you, they are hydrating!! Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Liquid (sample, 10ml) Original Price: $39 The size (10ml) does not compare but I am loving the texture so much already. Way thicker than my normal toners, this can be used for one of those days you’re skipping on serum or a moisturizer. It does contain alcohol high on the list (and ceramides as an after-note ingredient despite title) but it doesn’t feel drying- I have noticed that for its consistency, however, it doesn’t feel as hydrating as I would expect and I suspect that alcohol is the culprit. I wish this sample were bigger! Dr. Jart+ - Peptidin Firming Serum with Energy Peptides (sample, 5ml) Original Price: $48 If you don’t mind a serum formulated with lots of extracts (can be perfuming), you’ll love this serum. It’s got niacinamide, oat extracts, peptides, and adenosine. The formulation is just luxurious on the skin and I think I’m loving it even more than the ceramidin liquid which I was most excited about initially. My only complaint is that this sample is soooo tiny. Only good for 3-4 uses max. Dr. Jart+ - Dermaclear Micro Water (sample, 30ml) Original Price: $32 I’m not a huge believer of micellar water etc so I don’t have much of an opinion about this other than that it works so remove dirt on the skin. Will update if I end up using more of this. Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 (sample, 15ml) Original Price: $39 I don’t use BB creams in excess so this is actually a perfect size for me (1/3 of the original size at 40 ml) but I’m actually very impressed. I’m happy that it has SPF 45 and the tint is perfect for me (light-medium, warm) to use as spot treatment. This tube is worth around $15.
Dr. Jart+-Cera-Care Experiment Kit
PRODUCT: DrJart Ceramidin Liquid STATUS: Good enough to get the full size 💛 PRICE: $52 CAD / $39 USD SIZE: 150 mL WHERE: Sephora For a long time I sat on the fence about whether or not I needed the Ceramidin Liquid in my routine. I think it’s clear from the photo above, I finally settled on yes. Although marketed as a toner, the consistency of the Liquid feels more serum-like to me. Sephora’s site describes it as “A lightweight moisturizing toner that leaves skin supple, moisturized, and ready to absorb” and I think that perfectly sums it up. I use this towards the beginning of my AM routine (immediately after cleansing and essences). I find it pairs particularly well with my LAA serum and, since LAA can be a bit harsh, the Ceramidin Liquid helps to neutralize some of the acidity and aids in absorption. There are a few things I don’t love... First off, the hero ingredients of the line - Ceramides - appear at the bottom of ingredient list. I also don’t love that alcohol appears relatively high up on the list. That being said, I find the Liquid very hydrating and not drying at all, even with daily use. In the pro column, the Liquid contains plenty of ingredients I do love; propanediol, glycerine, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and a ton of plant extracts. Another big pro is that it just works well really with my skin, and that’s enough for me to ignore the negtatives..

CERAMIDES! What & why? ALL SKIN TYPES.
Ever heard of a healthy skin barrier? Are you using products with ingredients that help the skin barrier? Let me introduce to you, CERAMIDES. Ceramides occur naturally in the uppermost layers of our skin. They are lipids (fats) that help form our skin barrier and retain moisture. Ceramides also protect our skin from environmental aggressors. Why do we need them? As we age and our sun damage increases, we loose our natural ceramides. Not enough ceramides means a compromised skin barrier aka dry, itchy, and irritated skin. What do Ceramides in skincare do? They help rebuild and reinforce our skin barrier, increase hydration and decrease skin’s signs of sensitivity. Basically plumper, smoother, firmer, and less irritated skin! What skin type needs ceramides? ALL SKIN TYPES! Since Ceramides are natural and part of our skin, everyone can use products with Ceramides in them. Ingredients list! Most of the time it’s pretty obvious, products will say the word Ceramide, but they can also be identified as phytosphinogosine and sphingosine aka ingredients that get the skin into making ceramides. To sum it all up! Ceramides help keep our skim barrier in tip top shape! A good skin barrier means healthy skin! My favorite Ceramide products are listed below! Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Liquid + moisturizing toner. + 5-cera complex + dry skin: use as toner. + oily skin: use as toner or moisturizer. + pat in with hands. + absorbs nicely into skin, not sticky. + helps dry flakey skin and eczema. + leaves skin soft and supple. $38 5.07 oz/150ml seiso JBEAUTY - Ceramide Moisture Milk + lightweight + milky gel like texture + replenishes daily loss of ceramides and fatty acids. + improves hydration + reduces inflammation + promotes healthy skin barrier. $95 50ml 1.7oz More affordable options? Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Cream / Ceramidin Serum / Ceramidin Liquid Cream: 4/5 💮 Serum: 5/5 💮 Liquid: 4/5 💮 ——— All claim to deeply hydrate and strengthen skin’s barrier and prevent water loss: All of them did Textures: The second picture shows the texture of each in order Scent - I cant describe it. It smells like what Belif cosmetics smell like Parabens - No ——— Ceramidin Cream: This cream is a thick texture but melts into the skin really nicely. I really enjoy the smell even though I cannot describe it, but there is definitely a fragrance. After using this a week I feel my skin is more moisturized and healthy looking. I didn’t think I’ll like it as much as I do! I would only repurchase this though if I decide to repurchase the serum. I feel like together they’re great but this cream alone I own equally good ones. Ceramidin Serum: This is my favorite out of all of them. After a week of using this I noticed a healthy glow and hydrated. I noticed this effect right away, the first day, but ignored it because I wanted to see if it continued. And it did! The smell is the same as the rest, which is one I truly enjoy! I love how it is not such a thin formula, I absolutely love the consistency of this serum! It did wonders on my skin! Even without using the other products of this line, it could do an amazing job! I would definitely repurchase this. Ceramidin Liquid: I was surprised it was so thick! It’s not THICK but I was expecting actual liquid. This was a positive thing as I truly enjoyed the consistency as well, it’s not runny and you can apply it smoothly on your face. This has the same smell, which I enjoy, once again. This could also work by itself and wouldn’t need the rest of the line. So if you’re looking for a “serum”-like, hydrating formula to add to your routine, I recommend this one! All in all, I’m happy I followed the stream and got this. It was very different from previous Ceramidin products I have tried in the past! Purchased at asos

FAV TONER OF 2020: DR JART CERAMIDIN LIQUID
my fav toner discovery this year was the Dr Jart Ceramidin Liquid. I've been using this toner for a solid 7 months and it's become one of my holy grail skincare products :') i was surprised by how much i liked this product because prior to this toner, i never saw toner as an integral step in my skincare routine. however, after trying a mini sample of this, i immediately purchased a full size because of the difference i saw in my skin this toner has a lightweight, viscous and almost silky texture that absorbs quickly. it doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky or greasy but is very hydrating. it's made up of 5-Cera Complex, which is a patented blend of ceramides. it's a toner that i think all skin types would be able to benefit from, including those with acne-prone, combo skin like me. I think that those with redness, flakiness, or very dry skin would heavily benefit from this. after trying a few methods, I find that this applies best with the fingertips on damp skin whenever I use this, my skin feels more supple and looks less dull. I also found that I wasn't needing to apply as much of my serums or moisturizers whenever I incorporated this step. I think the biggest change I saw was how much this toner saved my skin whenever my skin barrier was damaged or whenever I was breaking out. especially if paired with the Dr Jart Ceramidin Cream, I noticed my skin would heal much faster from irritation and breakouts. this toner was actually the first indicator to me that instead of drying out my pimples, I should add hydration instead. whenever my skin is going through it, I immediately reach for this & it speeds up my healing time significantly while does retail at $39 for 150 ml, I find that a little does go a long way. it's lasted me months and has changed my complexion and the way the rest of my skincare products apply which is why I consider this one of my HG products. if i didn't already have other toners waiting on my skincare shelf, i absolutely 100% repurchase this in a heartbeat! Toner for Dry Winter Skin
Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Liquid This is the Dr. Jart Ceramidin Liquid. This toner claims to leave skin supple and moisturized and also preps the skin for the next steps. This toner works best with normal to dry skin. This is toner works to to relieve irritated, rough and flaky skin. This toner is definitely on the thicker side and it has the same smell as the ceramidin cream. I really love this toner for the winter months. I find that my skin is getting dehydrated a lot quicker and I need something at night that will help bring the moisture back. I have a ton of these mini toners and I want to use these all u before I commit to the full size. I like to use about 2-3 layers of this after I finish washing my face at night. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a nice thick toner for the wintertime and you love the Dr. Part Ceramidin cream. I think that this product is worth it, a little goes a long way and it is pretty effective. Definitely my go to toner this winter
