Hair addiction - Moroccanoil treatment
You must have heard about Moroccanoil treatment; it’s probably among the most popular hair products in the world. If you travel by plane to Europe, it’s impossible not to have noticed it in every hair studio in airports. I got my first bottle of Moroccanoil in Milan (the airport, yes!), and I was so excited the first time I tried it, I could barely wait to get home. The smell is out of this world, absolutely lush and rich. However, the first couple of times I used it, I was left slightly disappointed. The treatment seemed to make my hair way too soft, and it got greasy, I’d have to wash it again the next day to look clean. I had to put my (big) bottle away, and it stayed away for more than half a year until my hairstylist brought up Moroccanoil in a conversation. I told her my experience with the product, and she advised me to use just two drops of treatment (literally two drops) and never apply it close to the roots. Since I tried this, I couldn’t be more in love with Moroccanoil! After the first few weeks of regular use, my hair became luscious, with a fantastic shine. There’s practically no frizz, which for me, is like a miracle in itself, and it looks like it improved my hair quality a bit. I apply it after washing my hair, on damp hair. If I go a long time (more like three days) without washing my hair, I reapply the treatment, but only on the ends, I feel like I get less split ends since I’ve started using it this way. My hair looks healthy, and it has this glow I absolutely adore. More than this, even if it’s not on the cheap side, the treatment lasts forever, especially if you get the 100 ml bottle as I did. I’m totally hooked up on Moroccanoil now, wouldn’t use other leave-in treatments on my hair ever again!

Grow your hair with a ✨Long Hair Care Routine✨
Long hair, especially curly hair like mine, can be very difficult to maintain. I’ve had long hair for about 5 years now and I have found that it’s better to use less products overall and more importantly the right ones. After years of testing products, I found what works! 💊Taking vitamins can help to strengthen hair and promote growth as well (previous post.) 💪 To keep my hair strong, I avoid blow drying and straightening. I probably do it once or twice a year. 🔑 Key - hair can’t maintain length if it’s prone to breakage and split ends. It’s important to strengthen it, if you want long, healthy hair. 💁🏻♀️My Daily Long Hair Care Routine Step 1 Shampoo 2-3 times per week MARC ANTHONY TRUE PROFESSIONAL - Grow Long Caffeine Ginseng Shampoo I shampoo 2-3x per week, but less is also ok if your hair requires a little more or less depending on the levels of dryness or oiliness. Focus on the roots and work downward. It’s important not to dry out long hair as it can become prone to breaking. I’ve used this brand for a while and my hair became healthier and less prone to breakage, split ends and more voluminous overall. Sulfate and paraben free! Step 2 Condition MARC ANTHONY TRUE PROFESSIONAL - Grow Long Caffeine Ginseng Conditioner I condition my hair almost every time I a shower. For long hair, especially wavy and curly hair, hydration is key for maintenance. This conditioner is perfect because it leaves my hair feeling nourished, shiny and soft. Sulfate and paraben free! Step 3 Leave In Treatment MARC ANTHONY TRUE PROFESSIONAL - Grow Long Caffeine Ginseng Rapid Grow Leave In I use this right after a shower. I towel dry my hair and liberally apply as needed. It’s an excellent detangler and I have overall less breakage and loss when brushing my hair. Sulfate and paraben free! MOROCCANOIL - Treatment After my hair is mostly brushed through, I use 1.5-2 pumps of Moroccan oil on my whole head. It tames my frizz while conditioning and smoothing. Sometimes I’ll apply it dry to style as well. I’ve been a fan of this for years and it never fails. Sulfate and paraben free! Step 4 Style ogx - Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream Once my hair is ready for styling, I’ll add a small amount of this, especially to stop flyaways. It’s lightweight and absorbs well. Definitely a better alternative than gems or mousse.

Let’s talk hair
There are four hair tools this girl can’t live without! In all my years I’ve seen styles come and go (my mom is a retired stylist/salon owner) and these (to me) are classics - Blow dryer, obvs - invest in a good one, save not only time but also less damage to your hair . Flat Iron - I have straight hair but I still need to run my hair ‘quickly’ through when I want that sleek, smooth look - or to do a flat iron curl . Curling Iron - I absolutely swear by my BaByliss PRO - Nano Titanium Spring Curling Iron I’ve had it for going on eight years and it’s never let me down. It’s a 1” and the perfect size for my messy beach curls. My salon uses this and 1.5” Ulta has a 20% code right now on one item . amika: - High Tide Deep Wave Hair Crimper - back in the 80’s my mom got her first crimper, cause ya know, it was all the rage, and I can still remember the first time she styled my hair with it...Quadna ski trip! But I continued to style my hair through the years even when it wasn’t popular cause I loved the look. And it’s back again! So I had to pick up the new Amika styler. Whatever ancient one I had was so bad for my hair 🙈 This is a classic y’all! Get yourselves one and you’ll never be out of style...with me ☺️ . So let’s now dive into a few ‘must have’ hair products. If you are using styling tools you absolutely must have some of these. Just like skincare products, you have to protect your hair as you would your face. . MOROCCANOIL - Treatment I have very dry hair and this has been very helpful. A classic in the beauty community Color Wow Style on Steroids & One Minute Transformation The Ouai Heat Protection Spray & other products ORIBE - Balm D'or ORIBE - Thick Dry Finishing Spray (I’m a huge fan of Oribe- the products smell amazing) Milbon USA Thickening spray - oh so good. And it’s like perfume for your hair . These are just some of my favorites, not all are pictured. I have a lot of products that are for heat protection as well as volume (I don’t use hairspray). I’m on the hunt for a new s/c as I’ve been using Living Proof and my hair seems to be rebelling. Although a certain someone said the formula did change 😉 . Do you use protection products on your hair with styling tools? If so, which ones?
smooth, silky, light
Taking care of my hair has always been a chore for me. I don’t like spending too much time or product on my hair and prefer to keep things simple. This MorrocanOil Treatment is the perfect solution to all of my dry hair needs. After I wash my hair I let it air-dry for about 30 minutes. While my hair is still a little damp, I work in about 1-2 pumps of the oil into my hair and distribute it using a hairbrush. Next, I will just begin styling my hair as per usual. I love this product because it’s super light on the hair and doesn’t weight it down. It’s almost like a dry oil- in the fact that you can barely feel it. Another amazing plus is the beautiful scent of the oil. It’s a delicious scent and it leaves my hair smelling so fresh! I 100% recommend this product, you will not be disappointed!
this hair treatment could not be any better
I am blown away by this lil oil. This is proof that good things do come in small packages! It really packed a punch and did wonders for my hair. The oil is sorta thick and is almost the color of honey, but it’s not sticky or gross at all. You can get away with using just a bitty bit of it and still see results. I started by putting a small circle of the treatment in my palm, rubbing my palms together, and gently spreading it through my dry hair. Be careful not to put too much near your roots or they’ll look greasy. After putting it in my hair just once- once!- my hair was super soft and silky, unbelievably glowy and shiny, and very smooth with no frizz or flyaways. You need this product in your life!!
