The Silk Cream
What It IsA rich, weightless gel-cream moisturizer for soft, smooth, lustrous skin.
What Else You Need to KnowGenerations of geisha lived, slept, and bathed in silk. These beautiful artists were draped in over 12 yards of exquisite kimono silk everyday. While they did not know the science behind this lustrous fabric, a 200-year old beauty text reveals that they knew how to use silk to smooth and soften their skin. This time-honored practice to beautify the geisha’s skin inspired The Silk Cream. This pure formula is noncomedogenic, non-irritating, non-sensitizing, dermatologist tested, and cruelty-free. It is formulated without mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, urea, DEA, or TEA. Beauty that gives back: every Tatcha purchase you make supports girls’ education around the world. My new favourite lip mask
The bouncy jelly like texture is so unique and luxurious. The scent is very faint and almost undetectable. A little goes a long way and one light layer is enough to last the entire night. Does not feel to sticky and heavy on the lips. Feels comfortable enough to be worn during the day to add that extra gloss/shine on the lips. Love how soft, plump and moisturise my lips feel and look.

The Silk Cream
This lightweight gel moisturizer is intended for normal to dry skin, and is formulated for fine lines, loss of elasticity and dryness. I personally look for moisturizers that “sink in” and give me a healthy, youthful glow. This is perfect for transitioning into Spring TATCHA - The Silk Cream where I tend to use less moisturizers. Key ingredients: algae, rice, and green tea. Available at Sephora for 120$, but I sometimes catch deals on the Tatcha website

This is heaven!!! Silk for your skin!
this cream is the best you can use for dry skin!!! Is is recommended for sensitive skin. The consistency of TATCHA - The Silk Cream is very gel like, but it does leave your skin super soft and hydrated. Just like Silk!! We all know that Tatcha is a little expensive but every dollar is worth it ! It I’ll also last for months. Please try this cream and you will not regret it 😍.

TATCHA Moisturizers Assemble!
The best-selling product of TATCHA is TATCHA - The Water Cream , but it may not be suitable for all skin types. 😨😨 So I've made a comparison of 4 Tatcha creams. 1. TATCHA - The Water Cream Suitable for normal and oily skin. It has a light texture and an oil-free formula. It looks heavy from the outside, but after you open it, you'll find out that it's actually very watery. It can be absorbed quickly and has a faint essential oil smell to it. It creates a natural glow after applying it to the face. However, the moisturizing effect doesn't last long. It works better for spring and summer. 🌿🌿 2. TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream Suitable for most skin types. 👌🏻👌🏻 This cream creats a healthy glow on the face. It is very well absorbed, not sticky, and has a faint rose smell to it. Its texture makes it easy to apply. It feels like an enhanced version of the Water Cream, but shinier. 3. TATCHA - The Silk Cream Works for normal and dry skin. This texture is the lightest of the four, which is in between a lotion and a cream. The moisturizing effect, however, is no less than the other three. 😞😞 4. TATCHA - The Indigo Cream Soothing Skin Protectant The main use of this product is to repair and maintain firmness. It is suitable for sensitive skin, and is very moisturizing, alcohol-free, and fragrance-free. Its formula is the mildest among the four. It does a great job at repairing and stabilizing the skin. It looks a little blue when applied, but there's no need to worry because it's almost invisible after a while. If you care about the color, you can use it as a night cream. 💙💙 I recommend the Dewy for the overall effect, and Indigo for its amazing repairing effect.

Some products in a white, blue & green theme ▪️TATCHA The Silk Cream. I bought The Silk Cream thinking it was the same texture as the The Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream sample I used up. I didn’t realize there’s two and that one looks discontinued. This one is a light gel cream with silk & pearl extract. I’ll start layering it (I love a light gel cream under a cream) ▪️TATCHA The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream—This has a light and bouncy texture. The flower in the cap is completely stunning. This has silk, white peony & the Hadesai-3 Complex ▪️Volition Celery Green Cream—I caved and bought this because it looked so fresh. It has such a light clean scent it’s so good. This is a really light textured gel ▪️Merle Norman Skintelligent Eye Moisturizer This is a gel cream with a cooling metal tip. I normally don’t like the attached style metal wands but this one worked well on first use (some skip or drag). This one has probiotics & EYESERYL peptide ▪️Allies of Skin Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum—Three forms of hyaluronic acid, strawberry extract, resveratrol, superoxide dismutase & Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38. Nice gel serum texture ▪️Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum This isn’t new into me but I’m going to pull it out soon into a daily routine. This is a serum texture now instead of a gel with the addition of niacinamide ▪️Project 62 RENEW Green tea + sage Candle—Light and fresh

6 Skincare Tips from a Celebrity EstheticianIt’s been eight weeks since COVID-19 has caused us to shelter in place with the goal of putting an end to the novel coronavirus. While social distancing is playing an essential role in our health, the same can’t be said for our beauty routines. For beauty buffs, the lockdown has meant an abrupt halt to our routine visits to our facialists, dermatologists, and everything in between. What’s more, staying indoors has limited our exposure to vitamin D (which our skin needs to thrive), heeded unhealthy eating habits (which can wrack havoc on our skin), and turned us all into our very own (albeit mildly inexperienced) esthetician. To ensure our skin and well-being is taken care of during such a confusing time, we tapped into celebrity esthetician Renée Rouleau. Below, she’s sharing six self-care tips to practice as you social distance.May 20
