🕺🏻GRAPHIC LINERS 🎨
Hello! Today I’m bringing out my two cents and telling you guys about these awesome water activated liners I discovered! They’re from Glisten Cosmetics and they were very easy and forgiving to work with. The only downside is they’re not waterproof :( Also, just tried the Charlotte Tilbury - Magic Foundation Flawless Long-Lasting Coverage SPF15 and it is a DREAM. I have dry skin and this gave me enough glow and matte-ness in the areas that matter 🥳 MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Perfect Bronzer used this bronzer for awhile, not splotchy or muddy. TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist brings EVERYTHING back to life w/out looking sweaty ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Blush Trio got this at TJmaxx awhile back for cheap. Amazing product and perfect amount of pigment Violet Voss - Flamingo PRO Eyeshadow Palette my tried and true 💖

J-Beauty: Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist
TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist What it is: a mist moisturizer that can be sprayed over or under your makeup What it does: gives you an instant boost of hydration + leaves your skin dewy and glowing Cost: $62 CAD for 40ml/1.35oz Texture: a fine silky mist My experience: In the summer time I used the mist multiple times a day to refresh my skin and keep it looking dewy and add that coveted glow. I’ve tried this mist with makeup as well and I loved the results it gave me - it made my makeup application really flawless and contributed to keeping everything dewy rather than cakey and when I used it to refresh my makeup, it did not made it look/feel as though I had the makeup on for 5 hours already even though I totally did! 🤩 I like also using this mist to freshen up my skin during my PM skincare routine - I love that extra boost of hydration before I go to bed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the hefty price tag - it’s pretty expensive for a mist. Would I recommend: I think this mist is a really luxurious mist to have in your routine and if expensive luxe mists are your jam then definitely check this out but honestly I don’t think you necessarily need to buy this for your routine. It’s one of those things where you know it’s great and it feels so luxe and so boujee and you feel amazing when you use it but your skincare and your makeup will still survive just fine without having this. There are tons of other more affordable mists out there that you can opt for instead if you are a babe on a budge, but if you like splurging on this type of thing then you should go for it.

☪️ Falling in love is incomplete until you find the missing piece to complete you, that one you feel is your soulmate. ☪️ andddd I have found my skincare soulmate. It was my first time trying out @tatcha skincare and it was an amazing experience. I totally understand the hype. I picked this set up to treat myself after stressing out about my medical school interview. This is their Bestsellers Set. It comes with The Deep Cleanse, The Water Cream, The Silk Canvas, and the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. They are the mini deluxe sizes which gives you enough time to try and test the products. I started using this as soon as I got it (last Thursday) and so I don’t have a thorough review yet so my review is mostly first impressions. ☪️ The Deep Cleanse: I really enjoy using this cleanser! At first I was kind of surprised by the physical exfoliating particles but it didn’t hurt my face at all. The scent of the product was also amazing and soothing. When I went on their website, the particles are apparently ground fibers from the Japanese Luffa fruit. This fruit is known for deeply purifying and decongesting pores all the while conditioning the skin. I loved how it just made me feel a luxurious and fancy 🥰 ☪️ The Luminous Dewy Skin Mist: There is a lot of hype with this mist and so I was eager to try it. But, this is a bit too dewy for me. I do have oily skin and this mist is tailored to those with normal to dry skins. The nozzle on the spray also seemed a bit aggressive at first but it was ok after a few sprays. Not my cup of tea out of the set but I can see me reaching for this on winter months or I guess when it feels slightly cooler/drier in this humid climate (in Houston we have 3 seasons, pre-summer, summer, and post-summer). ☪️ The Water Cream: This cream was phenomenal! The texture of this cream seems like a heavy gel cream but when I rub it into my skin, it turns very watery and silky! I really enjoy the experience of putting this on! Online it says that it provides a nutrient-rich balanced hydration with “unique water-burst cream!” It is so weird but so cool. It has Japanese wild rose and leopard lily that helps tighten pores and control excess oil, while clarifying the skin. It also has anti-aging properties too! I know that the full size of this cream is crazy expensive but honestly, I think it is worth the splurge. It really made my skin moisturized and soothed. I also really love the scent of this cream. It is a light florally scent that really calms me. ☪️ The Silk Canvas: This primer is amazing. I love how it just glides over the skin and I wanted to try this baby out when I watched @vickytsai talk about tatcha at Sephoria. I was amazed at how the primer intensified eyeshadows and really prepped the skin for makeup all the while acting as a protective barrier between makeup and skin. I have used this primer only for three days but I definitely noticed how my makeup looks more vivid and is prolonged. I also noticed that I look less oily at the end of the day as well. I think that this mini size will last for a long time because with this less is more. Overall, I am so excited about this brand and I really want that full size set on @sephora. I’m so excited lol no longer a #tatchavirgin!! 😂

My skincare (normal to oily sensitive skin)
My current routine! I have ups & downs & some I want to improve but this is what it’s currently at! Not pictured: TATCHA - Calming Foaming Enzyme Powder Absolutely love! Was going back & forth between this version & the one for oily skin but this one is juuuuuust right for my picky skin!! Pictured: (in order of use) TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener Omg-it’s a game changer! This stuff may just look like fancy water (lol who am I kidding-I use evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray so yeah-THATS fancy water but I love it! lol) but this stuff is 100% the real deal! I’ve noticed that products glide one & I don’t have as much of the shiny effect after putting on my skincare routine! Yay! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum Ok so warning on this one-you’ll never use a full pump unless you share with 2 other people at the same time-this pump is stupid-I hate it but the product so far has done a good job & hasn’t made me run to go find a new one right away-could it be improved...? Yeah-but it’s a good option for me for now 😊 also-I don’t like using this by itself cuz it’s drying... so for a fix to that I added.... DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream One again-you don’t need a full pump unless you’re sharing-no one has that much surface area to cover with this...ugh. This is the step that was missing when I just was using the firming serum-this is hydrating & goes after because it’s thicker. The combo works for me. Would I rather have 1 product? Yes. Would I rather have a better pump that doesn’t portion out share sizes of product? Yes.... am I rushing to Sephora to find a new one? Ha! No.... Curology - Curology formula My 2 cents on those people who hate this? It’s not for you & that’s ok! But dang does this work for me!! It’s a must have!! Love it!! -or- never and DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I haven’t used this enough to rate but this is supposedly suppose to help with dark spots & pores? We shall see tester size...we shall see... TATCHA - The Water Cream Omg moisture heaven! Smells like a spa, glides on like a dream AND has gold in it? Sign me up! This stuff is amazing-I love it & it does wonders for me! Add ons! TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK Not in love-good for dry spots or singular areas every once in a while but meh-not worth it & not a fave of mine. TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Also-not in love. Is it nice when I’m dried out? Yeah! Does it last? Nooooot really? Meh-I have it I’ll use it & I won’t buy again... TATCHA - Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++ Meh-this is just....meh. Again will use it up & not rebuy....

My favorite face mists to beat dry skin
One of the most bougie things about my skincare routine is that I love to use a really nice face mist all year long. Since the weather is getting colder now, our skin is more prone to getting dry so we need to do everything we can to keep it nice and hydrated throughout the day so it doesn’t crack and feel like ‘ dry, winter skin.’ I’ll generally use a face mist once I’m out of the shower and before I apply my skincare so my skin really soaks it all up while it’s still damp. Mists are great to spritz throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated and not flaky (which is extremely important come fall/wintertime). Here are my current face mists I’ve been using on rotation: Lesse Regeneration Mist #Lesse - Regeneration Mist[products]#[FiveStars] - This is my favoriteeeeeee face mist and I will be replenishing it once I’m done. I love the whole line from Lesse and what the brand stands for. The mist is their latest launch and feels so fine and silky on the skin. It’s made of organic botanicals, is great for sensitive skin, and I just love the color, scent and how hydrating it feels. True Botanicals Calm Nutrient Mist TRUE BOTANICALS - Calm Nutrient Mist - An all-natural face mist made of blue chamomile, this mist is great for my sensitive skin and helps calm down my redness. I love misting this and taking a deep breath right before I use this to really soak in the scent and bring a sense of calm. Tatcha Luminous Skin Mist TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist- I like to mist this 3-4x right before I apply my makeup if I want more of a dewy look for an extra glow. It’s made up of Okinawa red algae and hyaluronic acid to give skin a silky look and feels really luxurious. Odacité Treatment Mist #Odacité - Aloe + Immortelle Hydra-Repair Treatment Mist[products]#- This mist is great for sensitive and redness prone skin like mine. It’s made up of sea fennel and chamomile which helps puffiness especially around the eyes. I love that this is also all natural and GMO free as I try to use more non toxic beauty and skincare in my routine when I can. Dr. Barbara Sturm Hydrating Face MistDR. BARBARA STURM - Hydrating Face Mist- I received this mist as a gift but did not particularly love it. It felt like a nice, lightweight mist but I don’t think it’s worth it’s high price point of $95. I’d much rather opt for their hyaluronic serum or spf drops instead of the mist.

My recent samples: 😍😐😣
Today I received my free sample of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and I'm so excited that I decided to a premature post about my recent samples.. The good 😍, the bad 😣 and the meh 😐. Premature because I haven't had the chance to try them all yet so there'll be a part 2 of this post! 😁 My review of the ones I tried is as follows: MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment IT'S AMAZING. So I'm very careful of my hair and never subject it to any treatments. I never used serums until I was 23 (bc my hair was almost 4ft long by then). The only one I trust to use is the one I get from India every year. Two bottles (I don't use it very often) for the whole year. When I didn't get to stock up, I looked elsewhere and honestly, I almost never like any hair serums. I've tried Matrix, The Honest Company, Infusium, OGX and idk what else. But this one is so good. It's almost the same as the one I buy back in India with an equally pleasant smell. And it makes my hair silky smooth. All in all, 5 stars OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer The second product I loved! I can't find a better word to describe the cream than "fresh". Every time I apply it, it feels so fresh on my skin, I love that 😍 Plus it has a very faint yet divine smell. It's a sample and I don't have too many fine lines so I can't comment on the anti-aging claims of this cream. But either way, I'm definitely buying this creme sometime next year when I run out of my current creams. FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya This one's the meh. It's not a bad cream but it's not great either. I have drier skin and even a little bit feels too heavy and oily on my face. Plus the smell isn't something I enjoyed. BIOSSANCE - Squalane+ Rose Vegan Lip Balm This is the second meh product. Honestly, of the few brands that I really get excited about, biossance is one of them and I can't wait to try their whole line - but this lip balm doesn't do wonders. I use Aquaphor and Vaseline and they work better than this. I do like the really cute bottle though. The texture is similar to Vaseline but with a rose scent. I still use it, but for overnight use I still reach for Vaseline. GLAMGLOW - BRIGHTEYES Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream CLINIQUE - Pep-Start Eye Cream I'm clumping these two together because neither of these worked. The texture of both is not too bad, sometimes even quite pleasant. But if I were to pick one skincare concern for me, it'd be dark circles. And these didn't help. Wish they did but nope. I'm currently trying a couple of others and if they work, I'll post about them soon :) TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist I've realized that I'm just not a fan of face mists. I'm too paranoid they'll blind me or something. Plus this one smells strong when it hits the face, thereby doubling my paranoia. So I'd rather not use it and I'll refrain from rating as well.
