What is your favorite cleanser?
What is your favorite cleanser?
QOTD:What is  your favorite cleanser?Do you know its PH level ? Quick short thoughts on these cleansers that I have been using 🌱RedEarth Beauty Brightening Refining Scrub with Kakadu Plum- The texture and the pearly color of this product is very pretty and soft on the skin. My face feels soft and cleaned after using this. There is a pleasant floral fruity smell which I love a lot. 🌱Panacea The Aegis Daily Facial Cleanser- The packaging of this is very sleek and minimalistic. It lathers on my face really nicely. The scent is a clean fresh scent, It leaves my face squeaky clean. Maybe too clean for my liking. I think if you are into a squeaky clean or if you have very oily skin, this might be for you 🌱Youth To The People Kale Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Superfood Cleanser- Beautiful packaging and natural ingredients. The scent is fresh like a kale smoothie if you are into kale. I love it personally. It cleans my face and leaves my face really soft. I would love to buy the full size of this. 🌱Tatcha The Deep Cleanse- I Love the luxurious scent and the soft creamy texture. It is one of my go to cleansers lately. It leaves my face soft and feels very clean. 🌱Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil- Beautiful packaging and gentlest cleanser out of the five. Maybe it is because it is an oil. Beautiful scent and leaves my face soft and clean. I highly recommend this product.

Tatcha Ritual 🧖🏻‍♀️✨
Tatcha Ritual 🧖🏻‍♀️✨
If you’ve ever been interested in Japanese beauty, Tatcha is a luxury brand you definitely need to check out. In December, my skin was at an all time low. I have very dry skin, so living in southern california and working as a lifeguard doesn’t help. I had an uneven tone, patchy and flaky skin, cystic breakouts, and dark circles. Within a week of using Tatcha my face changed for the better! My face has never been more smooth and hydrated, my wrinkles went away significantly and my tone is finally starting to even out! I found that my previous face wash was over stripping my skin and my moisturizer just wasn’t up to par for my skin. I genuinely love Tatcha and I’m so happy I splurged. TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser The Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil is a light weight oil that turns into a milky water once washed off. It’s extremely gentle on the skin and does a great job at getting off all the leftover makeup. I’ve never been a huge fan of cleansing oils but this one really stands above the rest. There’s no leftover residue, just a clean face TATCHA - The Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder This facial polish has lasted me so long, I’ve had it since January 2020 and I still have a little less than half a container left. The Rice Polish is a powder that turns into a soft foamy exfoliant. you only need a dime size of it to polish your entire face and neck. It leaves your skin so soft without being too harsh on it. the best thing about it is that Tacha has multiple versions of the rice polish to fit your specific skin type! TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener The Essence was something I hesitated buying for a while, only because of its steep price point ($95) I ended up purchasing it in Tatcha’s Dry Skin Ritual set, which has both of my favorite cleansers, The Dewy Skin Cream, and The Essence. I was so excited to try it, and i wasn’t disappointed. My skin felt so... plump! The hydration was definitely noticed and my skin is so soft! The only reason i knocked off the star was because of the price and as amazing as i think it is, I know that a couple face masks and a few serums could easily achieve the same amount of softness. The Essence also claims to help amplify the properties of other skincare items by helping the skin draw it in deeper, I don’t think it’s noticeable at first but after a while of continued use I am starting to see a difference with my other items! TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream Hands down my favorite moisturizer for my dry skin. I don’t know how else to say it! It’s a creamy, thick, moisturizer that leaves me feeling good even when I wake up, with other moisturizers i find myself reapplying throughout the day and especially when I wake up. With The Dewy Skin Cream, I don’t have to. I do admit i have to use more than the recommended pea sized amount, but it still feels amazing

What luxury feels like?
What luxury feels like?
If I had to imagine what a Queen or a princess used to clean their faces, this would be it!! Described as: This 2-in-1 makeup remover and cleanser of Camellia Oil gently melts away impurities, even waterproof makeup, leaving behind pure, silky soft skin. ✨This cleansing oil contains: Japanese Camellia Oil (Tsubaki) & Hadasei-3™ Complex: Tatcha's proprietary trio of Japanese anti-aging superfoods—Green Tea, Rice and Algae—helps to restore healthy-looking, youthful radiance. TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser I’m giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of the price. ✨ It leaves behind no gross residue and doesn’t make you oily at all! It just feels really rich on your face and does an amazing job of getting all the makeup and sunscreen etc. off your face. This is probably one of the best cleansing oils I’ve tried! If you have oily skin, don’t be afraid of this!! ✨✨ $48.00 for 5.1 oz. and you don’t need much of this AT ALL!!! But, it’s still pretty expensive and there are some great cleansing oils out there so it’s up to you if you want to take the chance. I’m honestly not crazy about this type of cleanser but this one feels so luxurious and definitely does a great job. I use as a first cleanse and then use a regular cleanser afterwards and haven’t had any issues like breakouts or clogged pores etc. If you are someone with dry skin, combo, normal etc. I think this should work. Also if you are a big fan of cleansing oils, this is definitely one you should try! ✨✨

Luxury Skincare: TATCHA - Worth the Splurge? 🤔
Luxury Skincare: TATCHA - Worth the Splurge? 🤔
Good evening Cherie Beauties! I discovered Tatcha through Hyram on YouTube. He gives great skin care tips, reviews skincare products and is very knowledgeable about the ingredients behind them. You should check him out if you get the chance! He is worth it Tatcha is a luxury Japanese skin care brand made with clean ingredients. They mostly target wrinkles and fine lines. I know that I am only in my mid-20s, but I am serious about deep lines and wrinkle prevention so I am investing now knowing it will pay off later. I bought the starter ritual set for normal to dry skin which include a sample size of camellia cleansing oil, the rice polish, the essence and the silk creme. This lasted me about three weeks and cost $68 USD. I really liked the results so I decided to purchase them all in full size except for the moisturizing silk creme. I think the one step camellia oil and the rice polish are WORTH THE SPLURGE. The cleansing oil is an antioxidant rich cleanser which removes all my makeup- even waterproof mascara and eyelash glue. It is also scent free which I am a huge fan of because I dislike fragrance on my skin care products. This also has that cleanser consistency and not oily at all. The rice polish is a water activated exfoliant, but gentle enough for daily use. The texture of this is so fine that it doesn’t feel harsh at all. It also turns into a water like consistency once activated. Both these items brighten and keep my complexion clear. I stayed at my mom’s once and forgot to bring this duo so I used my sister’s DE Beste jelly cleanser and while that is a great cleanser, it doesn’t brighten my skin and keep it moisturized as much as the Tatcha duo. The camellia oil costs $48 while the rice polish costs $65. However, I bought mine over a year and a half ago and I still have lots of product left. If you’re considering on splurging on Tatcha, I would skip the essence. This claims to be an anti aging water you apply before all your serums. This is made with superfoods that also helps uneven texture. I love this product, but I feel that I could live without it. I just don’t think it’s a necessity. I don’t think it makes much of a difference either. I would think that it is worth it if was 20 or 30 dollars cheaper. However, I can’t see myself shelling out another $95 for this. The silk cream is an anti aging gel that plumps your skin and helps with fine lines. I would splurge and get this again. I didn’t get it at the time because I still have lots of Drunk Elephant Protini left and didn’t think I needed another moisturizer . However, I really liked this product and would purchase it again. The full size moisturizer costs $68. If you guys find a dupe for this moisturizer let me know because I would love to save a fraction of $68. What luxury skincare do you think is worth the splurge? I would love to hear about it! Francesca 💋 #CheriePartner

HOW TO SHRINK YOUR PORES (Temporarily)
HOW TO SHRINK YOUR PORES (Temporarily)
I came across fifty shades of snail’s article on: How to Shrink Pores (temporarily), Plus 3 Pore Myths. Since it went viral, I read that it worked for many people as well so I decided to give it a try and it helped improve my skin. Curious to see whether this method works for others! My skin conditions: - combination skin type - dry areas between eyebrows - oily nose and cheeks with enlarged pores - few blackheads, sebaceous filaments on nose - hormonal acne breakouts 3 PORE MYTHS HIGHLIGHTS FROM HER BLOG: 1. Your nose is covered in blackheads. Some can be sebaceous filaments which is a mix of sebum, bacteria, dead skin cells and a hair follicle in a large pore. 2. Pores can be shrunk. There is no physical way to shrink pore sizes. Avoid all self-extraction methods and nose pore strips to prevent irreversible damage to the pore. 3. Pores open and close. The idea that a warm washcloth or steam treatment will “open” your pores to allow products to penetrate more deeply is a myth. And the idea that a splash of cold water or an astringent toner will “close” your pores is also a myth. The size of your pores is the size of your pores. WHAT YOU NEED TO CLEAR AND SHRINK PORES: - A 2% BHA product. I use PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator This exfoliator is pretty good at its job. Would be excellent if it didn’t smell like gas. Costs $30 but well worth it to go through bad smells as long as it works. 🤩 - A clay mask! I use innisfree - Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask I reviewed this product before and this product is called “pore clearing”. This alone has helped me with controlling my overproduction of sebum! - An emulsifying oil cleanser or pure carrier oil. I use Tatcha for this. TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser I reviewed this oil cleanser before. But it’s amazing because it uses camellia oil which is non-comedogenic making it perfect for my skin type. HOW TO SHRINK PORES TEMPORARILY Best time to do this is in the morning before regular skincare routine. 1. Apply BHA with cotton pad either on your entire face or target areas. Wait 20-25 mins. 2. Do not wash off the BHA. Apply face mask and follow its instructions. 3. Rinse with warm water and dry face. 4. Apply a generous amount of your cleansing oil or carrier oil and leave on for 15 mins. 5. Massage face for 2-3 mins with light-medium pressure from fingers and you should feel grits that have pushed out from your pores. (note: don’t overdo it or you may cause broken capillaries) 6. Rinse with warm water and continue with regular skincare routine. RESULTS AWESOME! I GOT GRITS. At least once or twice a month, I recommend doing this. If you didn’t feel grits during this process, yours may just not be as clogged - not to worry, it’s still clearing your pores and reducing their appearance so keep at it!! Let me know how it went for you! 🧖‍♀️

How to Start your Asian Beauty Skincare Routine
How to Start your Asian Beauty Skincare Routine
There are a lot of benefits to an asian beauty skincare routine. Each step should target your specific skin needs. Below I share with you some products for when I made my starter routine. Focus on just 5 products to start and add on. I’m combination skin. Dry areas between eyebrows and chin, oily and produce sebum in nose area, enlarged pores on cheeks and a normal forehead. 😂 I benefit from the double cleansing method which is aimed to target each of my skin concerns. Stick to and build your own routine to prevent breakouts. I know it worked for me. 🤩 1. FIRST CLEANSER I use micellar water to remove build up and dirt 😍 on days I use BHA because I dry out too much using BHA daily. ✔️micellar water: It removes make up, dirt and targets my sebum and clogged pores. BIODERMA - Sébium H2O It’s a hybrid solution that doesn’t dry you out but removes excess oils! ✔️oil cleanser: Some Japanese skincare options for affordable cleansing oils:KOSE COSMEPORT - SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oilor DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil and Lip Cream Gift Set. Kose one is mineral oil based and DHC one is olive oil based. It’s a trial and error to pick the right oils that won’t break you out. I splurged on TATCHA TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser just because I feel more secure knowing that camellia oil is purely non-comedogenic. I have used 100% camellia oil before on my skin and it helped close an acne scar overtime with skin rejuvenation properties. Other first cleanser options: ✔️cream ✔️milk ✔️balm 2 SECOND CLEANSER Choose between a foaming or gel cleanser that’s water based. pH levels matter as bacteria tends to flourish at a neutral pH 7 compared to an acidic level. Recommended to keep a pH level of 4.7 for healthy skin. Note: not everyone needs a second cleanser. I use HADALABO - Deep Moisturizing Whip Foam this is so moisturizing and is super cheap! A product that truly works. Cleanses you without dryness at a puff of cloud each pump. 3 HYDRATING TONER Stray from the notion that it should be alcohol or astringent based. To me, those toners are a means to calm redness but shouldn’t be a permanent part of your routine. Look for toners that contain humectants like hyaluronic acid. HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion In asian beauty, hydrating toners can be referred to as lotion. This one contains 5 different hyaluronic acids and leaves a plump and bouncy glow! 4 MOISTURIZER belif - The True Cream Aqua Bomb Aloe Vera I’ve been using this a lot more than my TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream recently because it is TOO HOT. It leaves a cooling feeling that moisturizes without being oily perfect for summer. 5. SUNSCREEN I won’t dive in why because IT’S A MUST! elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 MY FAVORITE! Non-white cast, non-sticky, non-comedogenic 🤤
