🍬🍃TATCHA MINIS HAUL🍃🍬
💜This is a recent Tatcha haul I scooped from Sephora with my VIB discount & saved up points, but I definitely placed an order today on tatcha.com to take advantage of their 20% off sale. Such a good time to purchase from Tatcha! I grabbed a couple old 5 star favorites like the Gold Spun lip balm & their Japanese blotting papers, as well as some other things I’ve been wanting to check out. Tatcha is actually an American brand, made in Japan🇯🇵, that adheres to Japan’s official safety & purity standards, one of the highest in the world, much stricter than the US (for more on that, check out my last post, or the 2015 documentary on Netflix called Stink) They were recently acquired by Unilever, so I hope they don’t ever change their standards! Tatcha sources all of their botanical extracts, ingredients & actives from plants grown in the most renowned provenances of Japan. 🍵🍚🌊Their formulas revolve around key ingredients Green Tea, Rice & Seaweed, the trinity of superfoods, rich in both nutrients & Japanese history, based on a Japanese document from 1813 which captured the beauty rituals of the time. ➕Their 2x fermented ‘Hadasei-3 complex’ yields over 85 actives like Enzymes, Minerals, Lactic & Amino Acids. It’s been a couple years since I’ve purchased Tatcha products, I’ve always loved their face creams, but we all know Tatcha is pricey!!! I think I was just always into moving on & trying something new, but oh how I missed them! I haven’t had as much luck with Tatcha cleansers in the past, I do adore their rice polish exfoliators 🍚 but personally was never a fan of the ‘One Step Camellia cleansing oil’ scent. I don’t think I’ve ever tried ‘The Deep Cleanse’ but I’m actually most excited to try their new cream cleanser: ‘The Rice Wash’🍚💦 I was also excited to finally try ‘The Silk Peony melting eye cream’ too, so this set was a no brainer! TATCHA - Pure & Glowing Trio set: $72 The ‘Pure & Glowing Trio’ set includes: a full size 1.7 oz Dewy Skin cream ($68) a 1.7 oz Rice Wash cleanser (full size is $35/4 oz) & 0.17 oz Silk Peony eye cream (full size $60/.5 oz) 🍬For now I’m just gonna share texture swatches & ingredients, but stay tuned... I’ll be rating everything in full review of every product coming soon! 💧TATCHA - Balanced Skin Duo The other products pictured are minis from a ‘Sephora Beauty Insider’ 300-point option that included: one mini ‘The Deep Cleanse’ 0.85 oz & one mini ‘The Water Cream’ 0.34 oz TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser Full size: $38/5 oz TATCHA - The Water Cream Full size $68/1.7 oz 💜In the meantime, check out that sale! And tell me your favorite Tatcha product(s) in the comments... or tell me about the ones that didn’t work for you!

💰Worth or Not? I tried the same products and my answer is...
As a huge fan of Selena Gomez and a huge fan of Skincare.  I'm so excited that she finally launched her own beauty brand --Rare Beauty. In the video featured on Vogue's YouTube channel, Gomez shares her everyday routine. This is why I love her, she is not only introducing her own brand product but also sharing the products she actually used from other brands that she loved. As a skincare obsessor, I got the 2 products she mentioned with her skincare routine that I can not wait to share with you guys. ❤️Selena Gomez's Skin Type She has dry skin, but in certain areas she is oily, also around her T-zone, she has some acne breakouts. My skin type is exactly the same as hers. Combination skin with oily T-zone and dry on the other area. Also acnes in T-zone and on my chin. ❤️Products Used & Tips:: TATCHA: TATCHA - The Dewy Skin CreamThe Dewy Skin Cream 👍 She mentioned the texture is thick and yummy. So when she uses it, it doesn't have to use that much of it. And it can give you a nice hydrating effect. Drunk Elephant Sunscreen:DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 Umbra™ Sheer Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30👍  She applies this daily cause she has lupus which made her need to be careful when she stay under the sun. ❤️My Review: Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream: First of all, the packaging is gorgeous! I love the little cute spoon on the top of the package, but to be honest it is not that useful lol. As well as the cream, the light purple color is very beautiful. I purchased it because I want this to be a part of my skincare routine day and night. However, the texture is too rich for my skin that I can only use it as a nighttime cream. A little amount of use could give my skin perfect hydration and when I wake up on the second day, my skin looks like a skinned boiled egg that is smooth, glowy and I can feel the elasticity. Since I'm a combination skin type, for the daytime, I feel heavy on the skin. Dry skin will definitely love it. I used LaMer Crème de la Mer Moisturizer Cream before and I don't really like that due to the super-rich texture. I feel this Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream (Price for $68) can be LaMer's (Price for $190) DUPE! Even Better!  Drunk Elephant Sunscreen SPF 30: Sunscreen is always an indispensable part of my routine. The Iron oxides ingredient in tinted sunscreens provides some protection against blue light and really attract me to buy it. I use it every day after I purchased it and I really love it. This product is a sheer physical sunscreen that gives powerful protection from the UVA/UVB damage and the radiations and oxidative damage. The texture is extremely lightweight that it is wonderful to apply it before makeup foundations. I feel it melt into my skin and is virtually invisible. I always prefer physical sunscreen better than chemical sunscreen. The word chemical sounds scary to me. This one contained no chemicals or silicones that will not cause acne which I highly recommend. ❤️Hope you guys like this❤️

💜Tatcha Brand Spotlight 💜
💜Tatcha Brand Spotlight 💜
💜this week I decided to spotlight Tatcha & decide what I love & don’t love as much from this brand! I’ve only ever tried their Silk Canvas Primer & loved it. I love the way all the packaging looks & the way everything smells! 💜What are the claims? •Tatcha Water cream - An oil free, anti aging water cream that releases a burst of skin improving Japanese nutrients, botanicals & moisture. For normal, oily & combo skin types. Formulated for dryness, pores, acne, & uneven texture. •Tatcha Violet-C brightening Serum - A 20% vitamin C & 10% AHA serum with pure ingredients & gentle strength that helps soften, brighten, & smooth for more radiant even tone skin. For all skin types, to brighten, smooth, & gently exfoliate. •Tatcha Dewy Skin cream - A rich cream that feeds the skin with plumping hydration & antioxidant packed Japanese purple rice for Healthy glow. For dry, sensitive, & normal skin. Formulated for dryness, dullness, loss of firmness & elasticity. •Tatcha Deep Cleanse - A daily gel cleanser with natural fruit exfoliant that thoroughly but gently lifts impurities & unclogs pores while leaving skin soft & hydrated. For all skin types. Formulated for pores, dullness & uneven texture & acne. 💜Texture/Consistency? •Tatcha Water Cream - smooth Thin gel •Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream - Thick hydrating cream •Tatcha Deep Cleanse - A thin gel cleanser •Tatcha Violet-C brightening serum - Very smooth water consistency 💜My thoughts overall? I honestly can say I love everything! It was amazing on my skin! 😊I love Tatcha products, makeup & skincare & I love the way my skin looks & feels after I use them! My least favorite out of all of them, would be the water cream, I just don’t think it is as hydrating as I would like in a moisturizer since I have dry/sensitive skin. I prefer the dewy skin cream, deep cleanse & Violet-C serum! My skin soaked up all of the amazing ingredients for a super glowy look. I defiantly would like to purchase the full size dewy skin cream, my skin loves that! It doesn’t break out or irritate my skin, it’s super gentle yet effective & really moisturizes my skin. 💜Price Vs. Size? •Dewy Skin cream - $68 for 1.7oz, worth it for me! •Water Cream - $68 for 1.7oz, not worth it for me •Violet-C Serum - $88 for 1oz, worth it! •Deep Cleanse - $38 for 5oz, worth it!! What are your thoughts on the brand/products?! Let me know! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream TATCHA - Violet-C Brightening Serum 20% Vitamin C + 10% AHA TATCHA - The Water Cream TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser

Luxury? Worth it or over spending? *Dry skin*
Luxury? Worth it or over spending? *Dry skin*
Is luxury skincare worth it or are we over paying for packaging and a brand name? Read about my luxury skincare collection below. As much as a skincare junkie (and hoarder?) I am, my luxury skincare collection is actually pretty small. Now what do I consider LUXURY? Brands like Tatcha, Tata Harper, La Mer, AmorePacifc, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Sunday Riley, DIOR..etc. Anything that is $50+ and not something you would necessarily need at such a high price point. Some of my Luxury products: seiso JBEAUTY - Fuwafuwa Foaming Cleanser This is great for my dry skin and when my skin barrier is in need of repairing. It’s a cleanser that gets the job done while leaving you with hydrated and glowing skin. This is priced at $38 and let’s be real.. that’s a bit steep for a cleanser, but the technology and ingredients + how long it has lasted me makes this worth the price. PURCHASE FOR SURE! Worth it ✨ seiso JBEAUTY - Ceramide Moisture Milk This is one of the most expensive serums I’ve ever owned. $95 and as much as it feels great and shows improvement of my skin.. it’s not a repurchase for me unless I have $100 to just drop for no reason. INSTEAD I’d recommend Krave - Great Barrier Relief Read more about SeisoJ Beauty in my ‘LUXURY FOR DRY SKIN - Ceramide skincare’ post. TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream Eh. This isn’t a moisturizer that I will reach for. IMO tatcha is a brand that you are paying for the hype and fancy packaging. There are many alternatives without robbing the bank to maintain plump and hydrated skin. $68 for a moisturizer is pretty steep for me. PASS. Find something else. It’s safe to say that all skincare is trial and error. If you are able to and willing to spend a good amount of money on a product then to each their own! Lower priced products are majority of the time no different, just not as luxurious packaging, but shows up for results for your skin. #cheriepartner #cheriecreator

Tatcha - Luxury Skincare Opinión ✅
Tatcha - Luxury Skincare Opinión ✅
Let’s talk about luxurious skincare, specifically two Tatcha skincare items! This is the second time I pick up the mini version of the TATCHA - Violet-C Radiance Mask and TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream . The first time I tried these two out was last year for the holiday season, but I recently picked these two up again from Sephora - Ritual for Radiance kit (6 products) for $90.00. The original size of the Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask retails for $68.00 (1.7oz). The mini has 10 ml which is perfect if you’re trying to experience the product without committing to the full size item. This is an anti aging mask packed with Japanese beautyberry, two types of Vitamin C, and AHAs from seven fruits, according to Sephora. I have oily combo skin and in my late 20s so it’s the perfect mask to tackle the dullness and uneven texture. This mask is the prettiest purple shade and has a faint clean scent. Additionally it is clean beauty! You can wear it up two to three times a week after cleaning skin. Personally, I use it once a week at most since I like to use other masks in between. The next item is The Dewy Skin Cream, a rich cream that feeds skin with plumping hydration and antioxidant- packed Japanese purple rice for a dewy, healthy glow, according to Tatcha online. This one is meant more for normal and dry skin. Since I have oily combo skim but deal with winter dry skin during the fall and winter skin, I use this during the cooler months. This cream hydrates with intensity and seals the moisture! Key ingredients are green tea, rice, and algae that helps skin to look it’s most beautiful at any age. Texture is creamy but still easy enough to apply on to the face and neck. Like the other Tatcha item, it does not have a strong scent at all! These are pretty expensive products ranging at more than $50 each for a full size, so even though I fully commit to them and recommend it to friends and family. I also recognize that everyone has a different budget! Be mindful of your own budget and if you can afford it - go for it and treat yourself to some new luxury skincare items! #CheriePartner

🐌 SNAIL TRAIL KISSES 💋
🐌 SNAIL TRAIL KISSES 💋
Purified. Snail. Slime. Would you want to be kissed on the cheek knowing fully well that you put snail trail on your face? 😚 My man was happy to do it. Some can be apprehensive to the use of it out of sheer disgust. 🤢 It’s been a few years since it bowled over the skincare market. Do you need it in your routine? Snail secretion is collected without harming the snails. They are well fed and placed on a rough stimulus which stimulates their production of mucin. Mucin is secreted to protect the snail’s skin. This secretion is then collected, refined through a filter and is then placed in your beauty product. 🧖‍♀️ WHAT IT DO? Snail mucin is considered a humectant so like hyaluronic acid, it will retain moisture. It’s also an emollient which will soothe and soften the skin. Antimicrobial and rich in antioxidants is a naturally occuring snail goo property. It also has collagen and elastin. 🤩 Extensive research is needed however, It is also rumored to have wound healing abilities as well as repair photoaged skin and acne scarring. PRODUCT If you haven’t heard of COSRX, the brand makes the famous blackhead power liquid rival to Paula’s Choice’s BHA 2%. They also make the advanced snail 96 mucin power essence. A whopping 96% of snail secretion filtrate. 4% is made up from the non irritating moisturizing agents and preservatives. 🧐 One pump and it oozes clear, thick, and viscous snail secretion. HOW TO USE After cleanser and toner, pat in the desired amount of snail juice and resume skincare routine after absorption. I like to wait thoroughly for everything to dry before I apply the next product. There’s no fragrance and the snail mucin provides instant cooling to the face. As you spread it, the product sinks in your face for deep hydration. INGREDIENTS ingredients: Mucin filtrate, betaine, butylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, sodium hyaluronate, panthenol, arginine, allantoin, ethyl hexanediol, sodium polyacrylate, carbomer, phenoxyethanol. Checks out pretty well on cosdna database. 👍 SKIN TYPE: For oily, normal, combo, dry, sensitive. 🐌 Snail party. 💥 RESULTS Anti-aging: I don’t have much wrinkles so I’m not sure if it works on the anti-aging aspect. I’ve been using The History of Whoo products which allowed my skin to become softer than it’s ever been putting my TATCHA dewy skin cream TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream or LA MERLA MER - The Moisturizing Soft Cream to shame. Between my skincare regimen, I notice that my cheeks lose its hydration more easily compared to other areas of my face. So far, using this snail stuff really works in keeping hydration in and fixes that. I haven’t been using this product for that long but if you’re interested in using it please always do a patch test. I think using snail goo while it is funky, it’s exciting! Especially when it’s the purest snail goo found in the market leaving little or no room for irritation to the skin. Dry? It can’t hurt to try. 😎 COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
