💜This is a recent Tatcha haul I scooped from Sephora with my VIB discount & saved up points, but I definitely placed an order today on tatcha.com to take advantage of their 20% off sale. Such a good time to purchase from Tatcha! I grabbed a couple old 5 star favorites like the Gold Spun lip balm & their Japanese blotting papers, as well as some other things I’ve been wanting to check out. Tatcha is actually an American brand, made in Japan🇯🇵, that adheres to Japan’s official safety & purity standards, one of the highest in the world, much stricter than the US (for more on that, check out my last post, or the 2015 documentary on Netflix called Stink) They were recently acquired by Unilever, so I hope they don’t ever change their standards! Tatcha sources all of their botanical extracts, ingredients & actives from plants grown in the most renowned provenances of Japan. 🍵🍚🌊Their formulas revolve around key ingredients Green Tea, Rice & Seaweed, the trinity of superfoods, rich in both nutrients & Japanese history, based on a Japanese document from 1813 which captured the beauty rituals of the time. ➕Their 2x fermented ‘Hadasei-3 complex’ yields over 85 actives like Enzymes, Minerals, Lactic & Amino Acids. It’s been a couple years since I’ve purchased Tatcha products, I’ve always loved their face creams, but we all know Tatcha is pricey!!! I think I was just always into moving on & trying something new, but oh how I missed them! I haven’t had as much luck with Tatcha cleansers in the past, I do adore their rice polish exfoliators 🍚 but personally was never a fan of the ‘One Step Camellia cleansing oil’ scent. I don’t think I’ve ever tried ‘The Deep Cleanse’ but I’m actually most excited to try their new cream cleanser: ‘The Rice Wash’🍚💦 I was also excited to finally try ‘The Silk Peony melting eye cream’ too, so this set was a no brainer! TATCHA - Pure & Glowing Trio set: $72 The ‘Pure & Glowing Trio’ set includes: a full size 1.7 oz Dewy Skin cream ($68) a 1.7 oz Rice Wash cleanser (full size is $35/4 oz) & 0.17 oz Silk Peony eye cream (full size $60/.5 oz) 🍬For now I’m just gonna share texture swatches & ingredients, but stay tuned... I’ll be rating everything in full review of every product coming soon! 💧TATCHA - Balanced Skin Duo The other products pictured are minis from a ‘Sephora Beauty Insider’ 300-point option that included: one mini ‘The Deep Cleanse’ 0.85 oz & one mini ‘The Water Cream’ 0.34 oz TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser Full size: $38/5 oz TATCHA - The Water Cream Full size $68/1.7 oz 💜In the meantime, check out that sale! And tell me your favorite Tatcha product(s) in the comments... or tell me about the ones that didn’t work for you!

💜Tatcha Brand Spotlight 💜
💜Tatcha Brand Spotlight 💜
💜this week I decided to spotlight Tatcha & decide what I love & don’t love as much from this brand! I’ve only ever tried their Silk Canvas Primer & loved it. I love the way all the packaging looks & the way everything smells! 💜What are the claims? •Tatcha Water cream - An oil free, anti aging water cream that releases a burst of skin improving Japanese nutrients, botanicals & moisture. For normal, oily & combo skin types. Formulated for dryness, pores, acne, & uneven texture. •Tatcha Violet-C brightening Serum - A 20% vitamin C & 10% AHA serum with pure ingredients & gentle strength that helps soften, brighten, & smooth for more radiant even tone skin. For all skin types, to brighten, smooth, & gently exfoliate. •Tatcha Dewy Skin cream - A rich cream that feeds the skin with plumping hydration & antioxidant packed Japanese purple rice for Healthy glow. For dry, sensitive, & normal skin. Formulated for dryness, dullness, loss of firmness & elasticity. •Tatcha Deep Cleanse - A daily gel cleanser with natural fruit exfoliant that thoroughly but gently lifts impurities & unclogs pores while leaving skin soft & hydrated. For all skin types. Formulated for pores, dullness & uneven texture & acne. 💜Texture/Consistency? •Tatcha Water Cream - smooth Thin gel •Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream - Thick hydrating cream •Tatcha Deep Cleanse - A thin gel cleanser •Tatcha Violet-C brightening serum - Very smooth water consistency 💜My thoughts overall? I honestly can say I love everything! It was amazing on my skin! 😊I love Tatcha products, makeup & skincare & I love the way my skin looks & feels after I use them! My least favorite out of all of them, would be the water cream, I just don’t think it is as hydrating as I would like in a moisturizer since I have dry/sensitive skin. I prefer the dewy skin cream, deep cleanse & Violet-C serum! My skin soaked up all of the amazing ingredients for a super glowy look. I defiantly would like to purchase the full size dewy skin cream, my skin loves that! It doesn’t break out or irritate my skin, it’s super gentle yet effective & really moisturizes my skin. 💜Price Vs. Size? •Dewy Skin cream - $68 for 1.7oz, worth it for me! •Water Cream - $68 for 1.7oz, not worth it for me •Violet-C Serum - $88 for 1oz, worth it! •Deep Cleanse - $38 for 5oz, worth it!! What are your thoughts on the brand/products?! Let me know! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream TATCHA - Violet-C Brightening Serum 20% Vitamin C + 10% AHA TATCHA - The Water Cream TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser

I’ve used so many moisturizers over years and there seem to be a few I come back to. I have normal to dry skin and tend to prefer a thicker/heavier cream during certain times, sometimes even in the summer as AZ can be brutal on the skin. So I always have a few open to choose from depending on how my skin is behaving. TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream $68 This was one of the first moisturizers I ever tried out and loved it! It’s definitely on the thicker side but my mother who has oily skin loves it. I only need a pea size to cover my face and neck so I usually use a nickel size to cover face, neck and chest. And it typically lasts me a good three months. My skin feels so pampered when I use this. 💜💜💜 TATCHA - The Water Cream $68 I’ve tried the small mini size of this and loved it as well. It’s much lighter than the Dewy Cream so it’s great for those looking for a lightweight summer moisturizer. It’s perfect for all skin types. 💙💙💙 YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask $48 This quickly became a “must have” for me! I saw changes in my skin after using just after a short week. My skin looked plumper and brighter. I typically use vitamin C only in the daytime so I liked the added benefit of this boost at night. I’ve never been one to like nighttime masks, I’ve tried several and felt they were too heavy or didn’t see the benefit. But this one works so well! I had picked up Perricone MD - Multi-Action Overnight Intensive Firming Mask and was disappointed with it. Not only did I not see any results, it pilled like crazy. 🤮 I hate that! So I will and have continued to repurchase YTTP Dream Mask. I see myself going through 2 a year 😉 💛💛💛 YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Dream Eye Cream $48 First off you may see that the prices are the same for the above YTTP product and this and see the sizes are vastly different and go, “what?!?” 🤯 I kinda wonder the same thing. But I gotta say, you really only need the tiniest bit of product to cover your eye, seriously, so small! At first I was using the same amount as I do with my other eye creams and I couldn’t get it to absorb. Once I cut (even that small amount) in half it was working. I LOVE that this baby has vitamin C in it. Can you tell I’m a fan of vitamin C? I suffer from some health issues and can look ill so I like products that help with dark circles. This also has helped me with those pesky fine lines as I am not a spring chicken any more. This is recommended to use at night. I am not sure why it can’t be used during the day 🤷‍♀️ 💜💙💛 Have you purchased anything during the Sephora sale? Are you going to? If you need any recommendations (less $$$) just drop me a line. I’d be happy to help. Tomorrow is the last day for Rouge 💎 Much love 😘🍒

Products for pores!
Products for pores!
🐰My skin type/concerns- I have very dry skin in the winter and a normal skin type during the summer! Occasionally I will get bad acne throughout the year, I also have bad redness and hyperpigmentation, and pores! 🐰this review is for products I have tried to minimize my pores! ✅worked ❌didn’t work 🐭Product list: ✅Belif Aqua bomb moisturizer- I discovered this moisturizer about 8 months ago and fell in love! I love using this moisturizer morning and night, it is amazing at minimizing the look of my pores! I see a huge difference from before and after I use this! It’s amazing ingredients is everything that helps with my pores! ✅drunk elephant t.l.c serum- I discovered this serum from a friend recommending this to me after trying it and telling me how much it helped minimize her pores! I have been using this for about 6 months! I always use this at night because I know when I wake up my pores look super reduced and my skin is very soothed for when I start the day! I always use this right before applying eye cream and moisturizer! This serum is very lightweight and gives me the perfect hydration my skin needs, and is amazing with minimizing my pores overnight! ✅Glow recipes watermelon sleeping mask- I saw this all over social media when it came out, and when I saw some reviews for it I knew it would be perfect for my skin and I immediately bought it! I have been using this for about 6 months! I also only use this at night and whenever I use it before bed I see the biggest difference in my pores when I wake up! I use this right after I cleanse my face! The very thick consistency of this is super helpful before going to bed because I know I will wake up with super moisturized skin! ❌tatcha water cream- I found this moisturizer from a family member recommending it to me, and saying how much it helped with her pores! I saw the pricy price tag but I still went for it! I used it for a couple months of the summer, and it was perfect for my summer skin type! But when winter came around this was not giving my skin the hydration it needs, and I learned this is more for oily type skin! This didn’t change the look of my pores at all, I saw no difference when I used this at night and when I would wake up nothing changed! I used this as one of the last products in my routine!GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask TATCHA - The Water Cream DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. The Boscia cactus water moisturizer is an ultra light weight fast absorbing moisturizer that gives thirsty skin a sip of instant hydration for a soft, smooth, and simple complexion! It can be solutions for dryness, dullness, uneven texture, and loss of firmness and elasticity. The texture of this is a refreshing thick gel that feels so cooling on your face. I have used this for about 10 months and really like it in the summer time because after being in the sun it feels so refreshing to put this on after. I got it in a set with two other boscia items that I also love! It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and gave me awesome results with my dry skin! I would recommend this to all skin types and to try out definitely in the summer for the really nice cooling effect! It is worth the $38 for 1.61oz of product that will last a while! The Kiehls calendula serum infused water cream is a weightless water cream infused with concentrated calendula serum! It can be solutions for dryness, dullness, and uneven texture! It is best for normal to oily skin types. The texture of this is a lightweight gel-cream, that feels like a drink of water on your face! I absolutely love this cream but is definitely geared toward oily skin types! I received it as a promo code on Sephora about 5 months ago and it is amazing! It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and I didn’t see big results because my skin is on the dryer side and this is geared more for oily skin types! I would recommend this to others because it does have an amazing texture and feeling on the face it also smells so fresh. It is worth the $50 for 1.7oz for people with oily skin! The tatcha water cream is recommended for oily, normal to oily, pores, and anti-aging!! It is an oil-free , anti-aging water cream that releases a burst of skin-improving Japanese nutrients, powerful botanicals and optimal hydration for pure, poreless skin! It works because it is a unique water-burst cream breaks upon application to deeply deliver treatment benefits, hydrating without leaving skin sticky or greasy. It’s powerful ingredient, Japanese Wild Rose, visibly tightens pores and smoothes skin texture!! Also it is, Non-comedogenic, Non-irritating, Non-sensitizing, Dermatologist tested, and Cruelty-free! Additionally, formulated without, Mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, and phthalates!! I love this because it is great for the summer since it does not leave my skin oily or greasy! It is a bit pricey but if you have had issues with pores or any other of its benefits I think it is worth it! It is $68 for 1.7 ounces. It also smells very good and the texture feels very cool to the touch! I think it is worth it, the tatcha water cream is amazing and is so worth the price, they have amazing ingredients and antioxidant properties, and they are always right on there claims! The Boscia is also pretty good and is at a great price point to! That is my second favorite by far! The Kiehls is definitely not worth $50 at all! It is no where near as good as tatcha! It makes my skin feel oily and greasy and just doesn’t do anything good for my dry skin! But the Boscia is an amazing affordable option of the tatcha water cream! boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer Kiehl's - Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream TATCHA - The Water Cream
