✔️Results! Let's get rid of Hyperpigmentation! ✨
If you know me for my Acne journey, you know I managed to leave my hormonal acne at bay. For few weeks I've been focusing on my Acne scars (dark spots) or Hyperpigmentation. For my Indian/brown skin it is inevitable to take care of my Post inflammatory Hyperpigmentation as it tends to get worse with time and sun exposure. The key to start with gettind rid of hyperpigmentation is Sunscreen. Mostly an SPF 30+. It is very important to calm those Melanocytes (cells that produce Melanin) and stop/reduce inter-cell transfer of melanin once it's produced. ✨This can be done with the help of these ingredients : 1. Niacinamide - Brightens skin, reduces Inter-transfer of melanin, Calms melanocytes 2. Alpha Arbutin - Brightening agent, stops excessive melanin production 3. L-Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) - Brightens and lightens dark spots 4. Azelaic acid - Brightens, gently exfoliates and calms Melanocytes 5. AHAs and Retinol - Increase cell turnover and exfoliate skin for brightening of hyperpigmentation. These all are my current favorites and are absolutely effective. Their formulation is so good I have been able to enjoy using them. ✨AM routine : 1. PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner 2. Sunday riley holy grails!
Does anyone else love these textures of @sundayriley Tidal water enzyme cream SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream and C.E.O Vitamin C Rich Hydration cream? SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream 💧🍋🌟 . . . I almost finished my Tidal water enzyme cream as I simply love that gel like texture and it is an amazing water cream with Alpha Arbutin in it. I used it with my L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) powder by @cosmedix COSMEDIX - Pure Mixing Crystals Vitamin C Powder Trust me you want this cream in order to fade your dark spots, acne scars and uneven tone. I noticed my scars fading away with this rich water cream. It is almost like a gel but with a lot of hydrating properties while gently taking care of hyperpigmentation with it's active ingredient that is Alpha Arbutin. It smells like cucumber and greens smoothie, so fresh and refreshing. It feels amazing on face 💕😍 I want to buy refill for this one and I don't think I can love this enough.... Another hydrating cream is C.E.O Vitamin C cream, I've recently started using this and I already love it. Give me Vitamin C and I never get tired with it. It smells like Lemons but a very subtle smell. I love how both the creams don't weigh heavily on skin and gives that natural hydrating look and feel to the skin. If you love using Vitamin C and want a good effective cream, C.E.O is the best option! 💕 Although @sundayriley is on a pricey side, I believe it's totally worth the money. Sometimes creams with Active ingredients infused in it are expensive because they do work on your targeted skin concerns. . . . . . Would you like to give these a try? 🌟 Comment down below ⬇💕

Skincare Sunday Part 1: Sunday Riley
🌊Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream 🌊What it is: “A lightweight, oil-free gel-cream for instantly glowing, dewy skin. Two forms of advanced hyaluronic acid infuse water into the skin. Gently refining papaya enzymes smooth the look of textured or dehydrated skin, for a baby-soft complexion. Alpha-arbutin brightens the appearance of discolorations for clear radiance. (Cruelty-Free, Sulfate-Free, Paraben-Free, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Phthalate-Free, Fragrance-Free, Vegan)” 🌊Price: $22.00 (0.5oz) / $65.00 (1.7oz) 🌊My thoughts: After being introduced to the Sunday Riley skincare brand by another skincare lover, I immediately understood the hype. This moisturizer is super creamy and hydrating without feeling too heavy. (Hyaluronic acid is a kingpin in the moisture game.) It has kind of a nice beachy/marine scent that isn’t too strong. I use this at night towards the end of my skincare routine and I think it does a great job hydrating, brightening, and locking in the rest of my skincare products. Definitely would recommend (I would honestly recommend everything from Sunday Riley)!!!

Hormonal/Cystic Acne approved - They WORK
If you know me, you know The Ordinary is my first favorite brand and Sunday Riley is always competing hard with it to be on my Faves list. I am obsessed with these picks from them. I have my reasons to love this brand these products. Being Acne prone and dealing with a lot of skin texture, dullness and hyperpigmentation I always am looking for products that 'work'! No BS simply work, and these products work for me. I have seen dramatic changes in my skin when I use these. I'm going to order these from the most effective and my favorites to the least! Sunday Riley was one brand which was hell expensive for me but on the other side they worked really well. I don't purchase them often as I purchase TO, but whenever I can I don't rethink. If you want products that work these are the ones: 1. A+ Retinoid SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum - This is my most favorite and most picked one from Sunday Riley. Guys, take my word on it this stuff is amazing. I love retinol and I know my skin responds in a certain way when I apply Retinoids. So, if some retinoids don't show the expected results I know they're not the ones for me. This Retinoid made my skin so soft, supple and healthy while taking care of those stubborn Hormonal cystic acne. Also, it exfoliates amazingly and reduces the look of PIH. ✨Exfoliates well ✨Reduces look of fine lines and wrinkles ✨Reduces Hyperpigmentation (PIH, Melasma) ✨Brightens and tightens skin ✨Makes skin soft and reduces irregular texture 2. Tidal SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream - This is second most loved product from SR. It's because it has Alpha Arbutin in it. Alpha Arbutin is an amazing brightening Anti-Oxidant that slows down the melanin production leading to reducing hyperpigmentation. This cream is actually a lightweight gel that gets absorbed in skin quickly and I have experienced a brighter, healthier skin with it. ✨Brightens complexion ✨Reduces Hyperpigmentation, slows down melanin production ✨Gel like texture doesn't sit heavy on skin ✨You can mix L-ascorbic powder or any vitamin C serum with it to boost it's brightening effect. 3. Vitamin C SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream - I love this cream in winters because of it's thick but hydrating texture. Love this cream as it's an amazing moisturizer for daytime regimen. ✨ Relatively thick and creamy ✨Hydrates skin ✨Reduces hyperpigmentation ✨Tightens skin and makes it plump ✨Lasts long because you only need a pea size with it 4. Lactic acid SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment - This is an amazing product for someone who is new to AHAs and chemical exfoliation. It exfoliates skin in a very gentle way and doesn't irritate skin. I like the creamy, lightweight formula that is equally effective as serum or toners. ✨Mildly exfoliates ✨Doesn't irritate skin ✨Creamy formula that doesn't feel heavy ✨Makes skin softer and reduces texture in just one use ( Mainly because of Lactic acid/ AHA) 5. Martian SUNDAY RILEY - Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner - This toner has an interesting formula, it comes out as foamy gel into watery toner when it touches skin! It's amazing. It's a great product for acne prone skin and people with active acne. It has Bentonite clay, green tea, witch hazel, and marshmallow extract helps chill out redness, reduce excess oil, and tighten pores. ✨ Matte, shine-free finish ✨Slightly cooling and soothing when applied ✨Reduces the redness and inflammation ✨Reduces skin irritation ✨Use this after Thermal water and you'll find it more soothing ✨Witch hazel in this formula doesn't work as astringent and doesn't strip skin.

Winter Morning Skincare ✨✨
This routine is lengthy but they all work perfect in conjunction with each other. My skin was making so much progress until I went to Korea and the air pollution reeked havoc on my skin. My hormonal acne also has been taking it’s turn but in 2 1/2 weeks this is my skin. Winter is the best time to focus on hyperpigmentation and dryness. Due to the colder air and lack of time in the sun, your skin has a chance to lose pigment and excess oils. Most of my skin care routine is Kbeauty! My routine: Oil cleanse; THE FACE SHOP - Rice Water Bright, Light Cleansing Oil This is my favorite oil for cleansing. From makeup to everyday use it’s perfect! Not heavy at all and it also has major benefits! Cleanse: COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser This still gets a 4/5 for me! I love the benefits and for acne this is great, but for regular cleansing no. I only use this for a double cleansing routine. Tone: puremay - Soft Serum Toner This is the perfect toner for hydrating and anti aging! It brings plenty of moisture back into my skin ! Treat The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA Favorite for treating hyperpigmentation insta natural - Vitamin C Serum So I was using this serum 4 years ago. Being a product junky I wanted to find something else that worked but this is my HG! This will give you guaranteed results! The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I didn’t use this today but I use it when I need a extra pick me up or my dark circles are awful. FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry This is actually a great eye cream. It’s perfect for the mornings and I promise you after a min of 45 days you will see results. SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Acne Treatment Face Oil This is what made the difference in my acne! I’ve been using this everyday. If you haven’t used salicylic acid or any other types of actives I recommend starting with the recommended 2-3 times a week. My skin is just now finish to purge and heal. SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream This is the perfect seal! Great for brightening and hydrating! I didn’t too much care for this at first but now seeing results I am sold! I 100000% recommend for hyperpigmentation and dryness.
