Shimmer Brick Highlighter

To me, NYE is all about shiny and shimmery things, so I decided to go with a subtle gold shimmery look! I am by no means an eyeshadow master, so this is my best attempt, please bear with me! I just dabbed a little eyeshadow on my finger, and dabbed it onto my eye. I used BOBBI BROWN - Eyeshadow to fill in my brows. I used #Burt’s Bees - Nourishing Eyeliner Pencil[products]#[FiveStars] in warm brown to give natural definition to my eyes and COVERGIRL - LashBlast Volume Mascara for my lashes. I used my favorite SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler to lift my lashes. I didn’t use any concealer or foundation today, so my HIP marks were showing, but I put some BOBBI BROWN - BOBBI BROWN Bronzing Powder on my cheek bones, some Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color along my cheeks, and some BOBBI BROWN - Shimmer Brick Highlighter on the high points of my cheeks and the tip of my nose.

I’m not a huge eye makeup kinda person, I usually lean more towards the natural side (mostly because I’m pretty bad at eye makeup and end up making my eyes look smaller). I tried out a few looks for Christmas Eve dinner and I finally chose the most natural look, the second picture. Although I would never really wear a dramatic, sparkly eye look out in public, it’s fun to play around with makeup while I’m stuck at home. I’m super late to this trend but I just realized today’s makeup looked a lot like the dolphin skin/glass skin trend so I thought I’d share. I used to different kinds of highlighters: BOBBI BROWN - Shimmer Brick Highlighter and FENTY BEAUTY - Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter on my cheek bones and on the tip of my nose.
