Worth it?
Worth it?
The Boscia cactus water moisturizer is an ultra light weight fast absorbing moisturizer that gives thirsty skin a sip of instant hydration for a soft, smooth, and simple complexion! It can be solutions for dryness, dullness, uneven texture, and loss of firmness and elasticity. The texture of this is a refreshing thick gel that feels so cooling on your face. I have used this for about 10 months and really like it in the summer time because after being in the sun it feels so refreshing to put this on after. I got it in a set with two other boscia items that I also love! It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and gave me awesome results with my dry skin! I would recommend this to all skin types and to try out definitely in the summer for the really nice cooling effect! It is worth the $38 for 1.61oz of product that will last a while! The Kiehls calendula serum infused water cream is a weightless water cream infused with concentrated calendula serum! It can be solutions for dryness, dullness, and uneven texture! It is best for normal to oily skin types. The texture of this is a lightweight gel-cream, that feels like a drink of water on your face! I absolutely love this cream but is definitely geared toward oily skin types! I received it as a promo code on Sephora about 5 months ago and it is amazing! It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and I didn’t see big results because my skin is on the dryer side and this is geared more for oily skin types! I would recommend this to others because it does have an amazing texture and feeling on the face it also smells so fresh. It is worth the $50 for 1.7oz for people with oily skin! The tatcha water cream is recommended for oily, normal to oily, pores, and anti-aging!! It is an oil-free , anti-aging water cream that releases a burst of skin-improving Japanese nutrients, powerful botanicals and optimal hydration for pure, poreless skin! It works because it is a unique water-burst cream breaks upon application to deeply deliver treatment benefits, hydrating without leaving skin sticky or greasy. It’s powerful ingredient, Japanese Wild Rose, visibly tightens pores and smoothes skin texture!! Also it is, Non-comedogenic, Non-irritating, Non-sensitizing, Dermatologist tested, and Cruelty-free! Additionally, formulated without, Mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, and phthalates!! I love this because it is great for the summer since it does not leave my skin oily or greasy! It is a bit pricey but if you have had issues with pores or any other of its benefits I think it is worth it! It is $68 for 1.7 ounces. It also smells very good and the texture feels very cool to the touch! I think it is worth it, the tatcha water cream is amazing and is so worth the price, they have amazing ingredients and antioxidant properties, and they are always right on there claims! The Boscia is also pretty good and is at a great price point to! That is my second favorite by far! The Kiehls is definitely not worth $50 at all! It is no where near as good as tatcha! It makes my skin feel oily and greasy and just doesn’t do anything good for my dry skin! But the Boscia is an amazing affordable option of the tatcha water cream! boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer Kiehl's - Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream TATCHA - The Water Cream

the inkeylist squalane oil. i
the inkeylist squalane oil. i love squalane. It’s actually a more stable form of the byproduct squalene. It’s present in the skins lipid barrier and helps look in moisture! It’s also sometimes derived from olives and I do love olives 🙈 great product to maintain moisture and create a smooth barrier for your skin! - jvskincare rescue serum is so to die for 👽 it’s so light weight and soaks into my skin so well. ⁣ - volitionbeauty celery green cream I am loving the light weight of this, but it’s piling with everything so I need to find a way to make this work maybe more with a simple routine! ⁣ - amorepacific radiance creme and mask this is also luxxxxx but piling as well so really going to reevaluate when I get back on how to use these better! ⁣ ⁣ - boscia cactus water moisturizer this stuff is so amazingly moisturizing!! I LOVE keeping it in the fridge! I am working all together on incorporating my moisturizers to not pile- but this is so luxurious I cannot wait to try more!!

This saved my newly oily skin
This saved my newly oily skin
I never used to have oily skin but this summer has decided to throw my face for a loop and now I do. A trip to Costco showed me this jumbo (3.4oz) size which was on super sale at $9.97 so obviously I bought it. Honestly I really do like it a lot! So let’s start with texture: It has a texture like a thick aloe Vera. It is a little more sticky than aloe vera but it has the same gel-like consistency. Because of the gel texture, it doesn’t feel heavy on my face at all. It has a faint fresh scent but it doesn’t last long at all. How does it feel: This feels super light and refreshing on my skin. I wouldn’t say it’s super hydrating, but it’s enough to keep my skin moisturized. It doesn’t have a sticky feel on my skin at all. I think this is just a super refreshing gel and I would love it for a vacation if there wasn’t a virus going on. How did I use it: I only use this during the day time as my moisturizer. I don’t find it to be enough at night really. I sometimes used it alone, sometimes with makeup. Thoughts overall: So I really do like this. I may go back and get a second one before they leave Costco. I did have an issue one day where when I applied my foundation, it started to pill and cause a lot of issues for me. I used a little bit less moisturizer the next day and it seemed to help me. I love that this isn’t a heavily scented cream at all. I don’t think it has helped me with any redness but that’s what the claims say. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with oily skin looking for a basic moisturizer that’s not going to make them super greasy. boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer

First Time Using A Moisturizer (Emptied)
First Time Using A Moisturizer (Emptied)
boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer *Bare with me as this is my first time using a moisturizer* Please give me recommendations/ advice that you think will benefit my skin!! I appreciate it❤️ S K I N / T Y P E 🍃 Combo Skin T-zone being the Oilest Cheeks being on the Normal/Dry side Acne Prone Pigment Scarring Sensitive Tendency to become Flush and Red when Touched Large Pores T H O U G H T S 💫 The texture is sticky resembling to Aloe Vera gel and takes a while to settle/ absorb if applied too much or have other products layering (example: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% ) Not ideal if you are in a rush Ideal for combo to oily skin. As I did not use any serums and just did cleanse and moisturize alone, I noticed a significant decrease in sebum (oil) production. Possibly from using a moisturizer for the first time but as I ran out of my sebum controlling serum I noticed it somewhat maintained that oil production It is lightweight and provides a plump glass like appearance on your skin afterwards. Very hydrating/ refreshing, improved my skins firmness and dullness. Considering I am easily prone to acne it did not clog my pores nor broke me out instead it felt very soothing/ cooling especially for my skin type. Maybe putting it in the fridge a few minutes before applying will help with puffiness in the eye area. <<< Doesn’t hurt to try This will last you for quite some time, you only need a little bit of the product as it slides and can be evenly distributed throughout your face with about a quarter/ half dollar cent sized amount. The most satisfying thing I love about this product is after a long day when doing your nightly rinsing you can feel as if you’re removing a protective barrier (possibly the silicone), in a way it’s kind of reassuring to me ☺️ I’ll use this as a daytime moisturizer on some occasions but because of that barrier feeling and shine I tend to use it at nighttime. Most people don’t experience a shine but in my case I did. It was not a greasy shine though, more like wet glass skin ? I prefer my skin to appear matte (example: íUNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream ) as I don’t like to draw attention to my skin but that look is attractive during the summer time :) Claims to be Cruelty-free🤍 and Vegan🌱 along with being free from gluten, artificial fragrance, color, alcohol, sulfate, paraben and preservatives. Although it does contain silicone(s) please do research before hand if you are unsure or hesitant with the ingredient list. I personally have found no issues. P R O D U C T S $ 💚 Not Including Shipping The pictures shown is the 3.4 ounce Jumbo Sized - 50$ 3.4 ounce @ local Costco - 15/20$ 1.61 ounce Regular Sized - 38$ Boscia appears to not sell any size bigger or smaller on their site * I purchased this at Costco but they only have it up for a limited time*

My new favorite moisturizer 🌵🌙
My new favorite moisturizer 🌵🌙
This moisturizer has quickly stolen my heart as my new favorite. boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer Is a lightweight yet deeply moisturizing gel formulated with peptides that help keep the skin nice and plump. The consistency and lightweight feel of this moisturizer is perfect for my skin. I have acne prone, oily skin so finding a product that is not only effective but doesn’t clog my pores is hard. This has been one of the very few I have tried that I loved. I’m going to tell you a couple things about this product that stands out to me and a couple draw backs, even though I love it overall ✨A great thing about this product is the clean ingredients, I use the Think Dirty app to scan all of my skincare products for harmful chemicals and I can very picky about some of them. This moisturizer has no SLS, Paraben, formaldehyde’s, or mineral oil 🌙One of the unique ingredients in this product is the Queen of the Night Cactus which is known to rejuvenate, hydrate, and help the skin adapt to it’s environment. 🌵 It also includes the “South African Resurrection Plant which Leaves skin revived for longer than 48 hours after a single application” 💧Lastly it is formulated with peptides, which help promote skin tone and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, leaving the skin nice and plump Although this product has been a holy grail for me overall there are a few things that are draw backs but at this point in time are not deal breaks for me. For one the price, this moisturizer retails at Sephora and Ulta for $38 which for me is a little bit pricey for only 1.6oz of product. I got around this only by happen stance, Costco was having a sale on this moisturizer in a jumbo size that was $9.99 which is a huge deal With this product I have experienced some pilling with certain other serums I have used, but nothing that would bother me too much Since this moisturizer is a gel consistency, it tends to have a “tacky” feel to it right after applying it, although that quickly absorbs. Overall even though there are draw backs, this has become my favorite moisturizer. I have already purchased 2 more tubs from Costco while they were still having their deal. For reference this tub has lasted me over 4 months now! And I’m not even finished with it yet! I will be repurchasing as long as I can sustain to 👏 Let me know what you guys think of this product in the comments or if you have other recommendations! ☺️
