1 month + on Paulas Choice Results
It’s been almost 2 months on Paulas choice and I’ve seen tremendous change on my skin! I’ve been using the same products in my last post consistently since I started, no change to diet or water intake if anything thanks to COVID I’ve gained more than a few pounds and indulged in eating some trashy foods. 😂 With that being said I do have hormonal acne usually a week before my menstrual cycle starts I break out with painful red acne on my chin area, jaw line, neck, and cheek bones BUT i do have to give major thanks to this one product that has made a huge difference in my skin out of all the products I’ve used especially during this outbreak PAULA'S CHOICE - 1% Retinol Treatment with Peptides + Vitamin C Around the time my menstrual cycle starts I switch out my whole night time routine for retinol use every night so I do not develop any painful acne, I use a gentle cleanser beforehand and use a gel moisturizer afterwards to keep my skin hydrated. I will be leaving updated reviews for each item I used in my last post and see what I will be repurchasing. Also please feel free to let me know what worked for you! I would love to try new brands and products. I’ve Tried Biossance For A Week And Here’s What Happened...
I bought these products at a discount at Sephora for my morning skin care routine.🌞 1) Spray: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Hyaluronic Toning MistThe mist is ultra fine and it moisturizes my face well but it doesn't smell good. I usually use it as a toner and have never used it after makeup, so I don't know how it is as a setting product. 2) Vitamin C Rose Oil: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil I'm adamant about using vitamin C in the morning and vitamin A (retinol) at night, and this product is just great for morning use. It's very moisturizing and is not greasy at all. 3) Serum:BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum With Biossance, now I don't have to worry about using products with retinol during the day. 4) Probiotic Gel Moisturizer: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel MoisturizerIt smells like cheese and is super hydrating and moisturizing, protecting my skin perfectly. I also use it at night sometimes. Overall, I could feel my skin improving in just a week.✌ Combined with the use of acids and retinols at night, my skin is never dry during the day anymore. I have to say though, squalane is very hydrating and even has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-aging properties, which is very suitable for morning skin care routines.😘

5-second reviews: September Skincare Empties
Hi friends!!! I have been super busy recently and didn’t realize how much I have emptied this month already! This isn’t even HALF but these are the empties I feel comfortable reviewing at the moment! Please keep in mind I have fair skin that is sensitive, acne-prone, and prone to rosacea flare ups. I would consider myself combination dry with oily t zone. Here are my quick thoughts on each product: ORIGINS - Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash this face was is OK. It’s definitely affordable but it gives your skin the same feeling as if you were using a bar of soap—very slippy and tight. If my skin were oily I would probably like this, but I can’t recommend it for dry or sensitive skin. Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum OOF! I won this in a giveaway on Instagram. I had heard such amazing things about it but it ended up wrecking my skin. It contains some fruit acids as well as fragrance so it burned up my skin. This was the only thing I changed in my routine and I went from minimal redness and acne to a full face of irritation and breakouts. You can’t pay me to use another allies of skin product. FARMACY - Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm this literally made my lips PEEL. I just needed to declutter it for my own sake!! It seems Farmacy’s ingredients are all just a no from me dawg. Awake - Lip Therapy Lip Mask if you hate the goopy, stickiness of the laneige lip mask you will hate this one too...it’s even worse! I will say that it does a great job of hydrating my lips but I can’t get over the stickiness. INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner I loved this toner!! Until I was 7/8ths through the bottle. It started immediately pilling and irritating my skin. Super disappointing. I also no longer support this brand. I used it as a hydrating step in my routine after cleansing but before serums. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer I really love Biossance products but this one was a miss. You would probably like it if you have oily skin! But it just gave me a weird affect like my skin just drank it up and left nothing to actually moisturize my skin after. Supergoop! - Defense Refresh (Re)setting Mist SPF 40 * THE DEVIL SPRAY! It smells like straight up chemicals. Not even sunscreen. Just chemicals. It burned my skin!! I would even shake it up for a good 30-60 seconds before applying but my skin was not having it. *gifted by the brand PEACE OUT - Acne Healing Dots These are worth every penny. Hands down the best pimple patches I have ever used! They’re a little pricey but worth it. COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch These are my favorite drugstore pimple patches. Not as effective as the Peace Out dots but I highly recommend them to everyone!! Any questions about these products? #CheriePartner

Transitioning my Skincare from Summer to Fall🍂
My skin type is sensitive and depending on the season, it’s normal or dry. As the weather gets cooler, it leans towards the dry side. My skin is also very reactive so I always try to use products that are soothing and have anti-inflammatory properties. I’m going to give you a speedy run through of what my Fall skincare routine looks like, of course I do use more than what’s in this video (product junkie here) but these are the staples and types of products I’m always sure to add in! • I typically switch from cleansing oil to cleansing balm as the weather cools down because my skin gets drier and I find cleansing balms add more moisturize back in. Right now I have thisinsta natural - Rose Makeup Cleansing Balm Hydrating and I like it but I find the product is quite solid & sometimes hard to melt. • I am a mist lover so I always use some form of mist in my routine; lately I’ve been loving my two from Osea MalibuOSEA - Sea Minerals Mist • I usually cleanse my skin in the AM with a toner or micellar water & a reusable cotton round. In the cooler months I love using a hydrating toner like this FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner because it soothes, hydrates, and tones. • For serums, I focus on brightening + hydrating but I also still like to use a chemical exfoliant a few times a week to help with cell turnover and to keep my skin looking fresh. A few of my favourites for this are theSKINCEUTICALS - Serum 10 Aox+ , the Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum , and the Allies of Skin - Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum • For moisturizer, I typically switch to a heavier one as the weather cools down and love ones that contain ceremides because they really help protect my skin barrier & retain hydration. This BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer is going to be great for the cold weather months! The FARMACY - Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm is my secret for waking up with glowy hydrated skin - seriously you need it. • I use SPF year round and two are my favourites are the SKINCEUTICALS - Physical Fusion Uv Defense SPF 50 (it has a slight tint and wears beautifully) and the Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 • I love adding hydrating & soothing masks and treatments into my routine as the weather cools down like this FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask and the FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Oat & Hemp Multi-Fix Salve is perfect for dry patches anywhere! • Lastly, I always make sure I keep my lips hydrated and love the fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 and hydrating balm #CheriePartner

Before & after on Paulas choice products 🙏🏼
I started incorporating Paulas Choice products into my skin care routine. This is before and after after a week and three days!! Helped with pores, oil production, redness, black heads and evening my skin tone. Morning Routine: Cleanser CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Exfoliant PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator I actually hated this product at the beginning made my face extremely red and itchy after cleansing. I THOUGHT I saw no difference in my black heads and was going to toss it but giiiirrrrrrrlll the hype is real 👌🏼 ——————————————————————- I alternate between retinol and vitamin C in the morning Moisturizer REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream I used to love this but I realized this did nothing for my skin other than hydrate. Currently looking for alternative due to the ingredients. —————————————————————— When I’m not using vitamin C gel I use: Treatment PAULA'S CHOICE - 1% Retinol Treatment with Peptides + Vitamin C I’m slowly working this into my skin care routine but it’s by far my favorite product. Because BHA irritates my skin, I applied retinol and instantly cleared off my redness and minimized the size of my pores. Moisturizer BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer The only moisturizer my skin loves. Hydrates but not to the point to make my skin angry and break out. It feels like water it’s so refreshing and it alleviates any irritation my skin could be having. ————————————————————— SPF REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30 I use this every morning this is my right hand man for my 10 hr shifts. If I don’t wear this I’ll be red and oily within an hour. This does have a bad rep due to texture it is very thick and hard to mix in after it’s dried. My only con is that it leaves a white cast if applied too much. Night Time Routine: Cleanser CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I double cleanse with this at night Exfoliant PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator Treatment PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster I tried the ordinary’s version and my face hated me for it. But this one calms my skin entirely even after any harsh products I’m using. Treatment PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster It’s too early for me to tell if this is working on my acne. Moisturizer BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer I’ve had difficulty finding products that suit my oily sensitive acne prone skin and decided to splurge a little. Definitely worth it. If y’all have any recommendations for tweaking my skincare or helping with acne/dark circles please let me know!

A winner for oily skin
I’ve been working my way through this sample of the BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer and wanted to let you all know what I thought (+snap some picks before it’s completely gone 😂). I subbed this into my morning routine in place of my regular YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream about two weeks ago and have been very impressed with it! I’ll probably stick with my yttp moving forward because my skin is a tiny bit drier, but this moisturizer would be a hero product if I was even a little bit oilier. From Biossance: calms and reduces redness leaving skin more balanced 💚 improves and maintains hydration 💚 reduces the appearance of pore size Ingredient highlights: -probiotics (help with redness) -squalane (biossance’s star product that is an amazing hydrator) -red seaweed (for stressed skin) -ginger extract (for redness and irritation) -cress sprouts (have people heard of this?!?! It’s new to me! Anyway, according to biossance it brightens and evens skin tone) From me: -gel texture with a faintly medicinal scent that sinks in immediately -feels very lightweight and fresh on my face with no dryness -very soothing, calming moisturizer. I didn’t use it long enough to tell, but I definitely believe that this would help with redness -ok so having spent my life looking for a lightweight moisturizer I never thought I’d say this, but this is too light for me! If I had super oily skin though, I would be all over the full size, but with my combo skin I would use this only for summer mornings when I’m the oiliest Have you tried this moisturizer? Is there another gel moisturizer you love?!
