Belif Eye Cream
belif - Eye Bomb Gwp Claims to hydrate and provide up to 26 hours of moisture - Hydrate: Yes / 26 hours: Not that long Texture - Thin cream Scent - Soothing scent Parabens - No A amazing smelling moisturizing eye cream and is targeted to whoever wants intense hydration to the under eye to plump it up and avoid fine lines. I’m one of those people! This is probably one of my favorite eye creams! And let’s get right into why it doesn’t have a full score! Because it doesn’t do what it claims. It’s an eye cream that’s supposed to intensely hydrate my under eye for up to 26 hours but doesn’t do so for up to 26 hours. Maybe 12 hours. But every other aspect of this eyecream is wonderful. It’s a light and fluffy texture, goes on smoothly and instantly and intensely moisturizes. I love how Belifs Aqua line products all smell the same, a citrusy fresh smell, but I also love how they toned it down a little for this product for the eye. The scent isn’t as strong in this product as in the rest which I appreciate. I really love how it plumps up my eye a bit and you can feel the moisture of it, it also has a cooling effect which I really like! Ideally, you shouldn’t get this in your eye but I have small Asian eyes so for me it’s difficult to not sometimes get in a hint of an eye cream into my eye whenever I applied it too far out or too much. I blink and then it stings. But this is so gentle and doesn’t do that for me, so I’m not scared of applying this as I am with other products. A little goes a long way too! This 5ml sample lasted me sooooo long, the big jar is totally worth it. I would recommend this to everyone! At least get a sample it will last you forever.

Skincare Alphabet - G is for Glycerin
Ahhh glycerin, a dry gal’s best friend. You’ll rarely run across any moisturizing and/or hydrating products that do not contain this slept on ingredient, and for good reason: It works! Glycerin is a humectant that, much like HA, attracts moisture to the upper layer of the skin and helps prevent scaling and dryness by protecting the skin’s natural barrier against the elements (I’m looking at you winter wind and Santa Anas). Like HA though, it can, if not used properly, pull hydration from the deeper layers of skin, up to the outer layers. This is why it’s combined w/ other ingredients, like exclusive emollients, that reduce the risk of moisture loss or used in more humid climates where it can draw water from the environment. Glycerin is naturally found in most, if not all, natural fat cells (ppl, plants, animals) and can also be synthetically produced. With winter on the way (if you don’t live in Southern California or Florida it might have already hit) hydration is key. Time to start swapping out those lighter summer moisturizers and hydrators for thicker, heavy duty creams. Look for ones that combine multiple ingredients, glycerin being one of them. BTW Happy Halloween 🎃

I Belif in this eye cream 💖
First, follow me for more content like this 💖 I feel like all my recent products have been pointed towards the cold weather lol. Anyway, I stumbled upon Belif when I got my first product from them in my IPSY subscription and I was iffy about it (moisturizing bomb). I looked more Into this K-beauty brand and decided to try more of their products before I said I didn’t like the brand. I’m so glad I did because I actually found a product I like. I went to Sephora and picked up their holiday gift set. The set came with the aqua bomb makeup removing cleansing bomb, the true cream aqua bomb, Hungarian water essence, moisturizing eye bomb and the aqua bomb sleeping mask (all travel size). 💦The regular size this eye cream comes in is .84 oz for $48 (i have the .17 oz). It is formulated with tiger grass (helps support the making of collagen) and comfrey leaf (detoxify the skin). This cream is lightweight and extremely hydrating. It also helps boost elasticity. I’m loving the way this feels under my eyes. It’s so easy going on so I’m not tugging at my under eye. Usually when I’m using a regular moisturizer, i feel as if my under eye is still dry. This eye bomb helps with that. My under eye is extremely hydrated and the product isn’t heavy at all. When they say bomb, they really mean it. It’s like an explosion of hydration for you eyes. Will I spend $48 on the full size? I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure the travel size will last me a while, but who knows maybe I’ll change my mind, but for now, no. I’m also not really one to pick up an eye cream by itself. However I think everyone should pick up the Glow holidays kit from Sephora so you can get a taste of this product and the others. It’s only $23. I really do like this eye cream for the winter, my face needs all the hydration it can get. I really do like this product and i hope you will too💖💖🥺. Suitable for all skin types. belif - Eye Bomb Gwp

Genetic under Eye bags? What’s best!
If you’re like me, I’ve had puffy under eye area my whole life. In fact, there’s a hideous second grade photo of me that I’m sure sparked my insecurities. I have tried many products some help reduce the appearance of my under eye bags and some do absolutely NADA! Here are my top favorite products to decrease the appearance of my genetic eye puffiness. 1. belif - Eye Bomb Gwp In all my time searching. This has been the best find for me personally. When I use this cream I can definitely see that my eye puffiness went down. 2. ORIGINS - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff This is my second favorite. I only put this second because I later learned that when paired with the Belif Eye Bomb, it’s perfect. This eye cream definitely brightens so you do not need much at all and keeps your under eye area brightened and lifted all day. 3. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG My most recent discovery. This under eye solution does visibly depuff my under eye area. The consistency is not my favorite, I like thicker under eye creams. But I can say that it does make my eye area look more awakened. I read that this product takes awhile so...tbc I really hope this post helps someone like me with genetic under eye puffiness. Or atleast gives them some hope that there is a product or combination of products that helps them feel better about this unique issue.

What I Purchased During Sephora’s Holiday Sale
The most wonderful time of the year brings about Sephora’s Holiday Sale. For anyone who may not know about it, it’s just like the Sephora spring sale where depending on your BeautyInsider status, you get a certain percentage off of anything you buy (there are a few exceptions). Rouge status gets 20% off and early access 10/30 VIB status gets 15% off and early access 11/3 Insider status gets 10% off and regular access 11/5 Here’s what I picked this holiday season: FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer - finally decided to try this based on the hype and man o man this did not disappoint! It smells stupid good, has a buttery consistency and is not the least bit sticky, and the colors are just gorgeous. I picked up Fenty Glow and loved it so much that I went back and got the color Fu$$y too! Buy it! Needless to say I just had to buy the new Fenty Glossy Posse Holoidaze edition which is four new mini gloss bombs. Did I tell you I have a problem with this gloss? I’m addicted. HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Powder - I’ve wanted to try this for a while and so far so good. They are very subtle powders that are finely milled and have the slightest amount of reflecting particles in it. I like to use this on “less is more” make-up days: BB cream and this powder, paired with a brow gel and lip balm and BOOM - I woke up like this 🎶 HOURGLASS - Veil Translucent Setting Powder - I’ve been in the market for a new setting powder for quite sometime. I had been using the Coty Airspun and really only using it to set my under eye concealer, but aside from the fact that there is talc in (trying to cut that out as much as possible) I found that it was not fine enough and would cake in my creases. This is so light and soft and works well for a light touch-up during the day. HOURGLASS - Arch Brow Shaping Gel- I haven’t actually used this, but I have high hopes based on reviews. My brows are really the most important part of my “getting ready” routine, but sometimes I don’t want to do a fully filled in brow and I want something easy and not as time consuming (I extremely detailed with my brows). I’ll do an update on this when I post my brow products!! Of course I picked up a few refills of some tried and true products that I constantly repurchase (coming soon to a Cherie post near you). belif - Eye Bomb Gwp the best hydrating eye cream that I have ever tried. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil - my favorite brow product of all time. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream - my winter moisturizer. What did you buy with your discount?! Let me know 😻
