What causes hair static & how to fight it 💁
As the cold winter season slowly creeps on us, escaping static electricity will seem impossible, no matter how often we moisturize our hair during the winter. Static electricity is created when two unlike objects rub against each other. The process causes electrons from one object to be transferred to the other. The object that loses the electrons gets a positive charge, while the object that gains electrons get a negative charge. That’s how our hat hair is derived. When the material of the hat rubs against the strands of your hair, they swap electrons, causing a kind of electric charge to build up on your hair. If there isn’t any humidity or moisture in your hair, like on a dry winter morning, the charge causes your strands to repel from another like a magnet, causing embarrassing static and frizz. Stretegy #1 - Hair Oil Dehyradtion is one of the reasons that hair is conducting an electric charge. During winter, our strands can become dry due to lack of moisture in the air. Cold winter winds and warm indoor heat also contribute to this drynes. Pay extra attention to the tresses by moisturizing the strands with an effective hair oil. This powerful Rose Hair & Body Oil by OUAI is a best-seller from the brand. Containing a blend of Absinthium, Shea, and Rosehip Oil, the nourishing oil works to protect strands, lock in moisture, and impart a glowing finish to my skin and hair. I also love how the gorgeous fragrance lingers on my hair for hours, thanks to the rose, bergamot, lychee, and white musk ingredients. US$32 for 3oz OUAI - Rose Hair & Body Oil Strategy #2 – Leave-in Conditioner If you do not have a hair oil or if you prefer another texture, feed your hair the moisture it needs by using a leave-in conditioner. The product will help to hydrate the strands and defend it against the varying temperatures and weather conditions. I love the leave-in conditioner launched by the same brand OUAI. This anti-frizz leave in conditioner with thermal potection not only repair dry ends, it also protects against breakage, and adds slip to hair for a seamless detangling process. The scent is so lovely too – coined “North Bondi”, the fragrance boasts notes including bergamot, italian lemon, rose de mai, magnolia, and lily. US$26 for 4.7oz OUAI - OUAI Leave-In Conditioner

BAG FULL OF GOODIES
wanted to share my quick thoughts on some new products i have recently tried/incorporated into my routine! ⭐️ @theouai rose hair & body oil: we love a multi-functional product!!! this smells so fresh and is perfect for the ends of my hair for an extra boost of hydration. also makes me skin so soft! ⭐️ @boscia cleansing oil*: such a clean scent! i use about 2-3 pumps of this at night & easily removes all my makeup & spf. it’s hydrating and doesn’t leave any type of film behind! ⭐️ @soleilsolace shimmering rose infused body oil*: this is a dream! it gives the perfect amount of hydration & shimmer!!! it blends effortlessly & leaves me so glowy. ⁉️ @cocokind tumeric tonic: i really enjoy tumeric in products, but still am unsure about this one. i have used this in my AM & PM routine, but didn’t really see any noticeable difference on breakouts. it is also a rollerball, which I am not a huge fan of. i am going to continue to test it out! ⭐️ @byroe_official better green essence toner*: really enjoy the idea of an essence + toner! i never really used an essence in my routine because I didn’t think it was necessary, but this is so hydrating! i use it my PM routine after cleansing and I find that it really preps my skin for my serums & moisturizer! ⁉️ @habitskin spf 41 mister*: absolutely LOVE the idea of a spf mister... it’s genius tbh. it sprays on pretty evenly and light, however it does makes me look a bit oily. I think it’s perfect for pool days & days where I am wearing minimal makeup, but not sure that I would use daily. ⭐️ @cocokind texture smoothing cream: light weight moisturizers are my go-to for combo skin & this is perfect! i mostly use this in my PM routine as a last step & it really does a nice job of locking everything in. ⭐️ @farmacybeauty daily greens moisturizer*: this is another great lightweight gel moisturizer! while i enjoy using it in my AM routine, I think I still like honey drop more. I like using this on no makeup days. it keeps me looking matte and fresh!

Few steps to save your damaged hair
Before blenching my hair, my hair was strong and beautiful. my hair is extremely dry and hard to manage when I bleached it for three times. Dry and damaged hair is frustrating, and they often cause breakage and split ends.  To repair the damaged hair, the key is to keep the hydration of it. I have several tips to manage the hair: using cooler water to wash the hair, using moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, using a low-temperature hairdryer and good hair oil. I use Pantene’s colour protection shampoo and conditioner. Although it is a super cheap drugstore product, this shampoo and conditioner are the best products I have ever used to hydrate my extremely dry hair. The shampoo makes my hair feel glossy and healthy. When washing my hair, I can feel how my tangled hair gets smooth after applying the conditioner. It feels like magic. I use this product every second day. the collection leaves my hair soft, hydrated and remains the color. The smell is nice and elegant. When I dry my hair, I use a Dyson Hair Dryer. It can dry hair very quickly with a low temperature, reduce the damage to the hair.  When drying my hair, I also use MOROCCANOIL Original Oil Treatment to keep the hydration of my hair.I use 1-2 drops of this oil and massage it from the end of my hair. It makes my hair so nice and soft. My hair looks much healthier straight away after applying it. My extremely dry and tangled hair can be managed by this. I can see it really work. when I brush my hair. There are no knots and my hair smell so nice!  Although my hair is totally damaged and I have to keep these processes to keep my hair hydrating and shiny, I can see the difference every time I wash my hair. I highly recommend these processes to people who bleached  would like to remain the color of their hair.

Finally! Holy Grail for my damaged frizzy hair🙌
I have long, wavy with big curls hair since I was in college. Most professional hairstylist I went to would ask if I had it permed, well I’m just blessed with natural curls! But, I started putting chemicals, hair dyes and highlights in my hair after I graduated. The biggest mistake I did was have it rebonded 🤷🏻‍♀️ To make the summary short, I used tons of hair oils, serums and masks to bring my wavy curls but not all worked. So my boyfriend introduced me to this Beauty Supply shop where he got all his hair creme and beard oil products and was introduced to this 2 products. MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment I used it 2x a day. AM after shower like my hair is still damped. PM small amount before I sleep. The smell is neutral not overpowering. TIP: Concentrate on the tips and hair not on the scalp because it tends to get oily. L'ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL - Instant Resurfacing Masque OMG! not to exagerrate but my hair felt ohh soo good and light after I used it. used it 2-3x per week. My hair is so smooth when I brush it wet. I’ve been using this for almost 2weeks now and love love love the results. Flaunt those curls and waves😉 Hope these products will help you achieve a free damage and frizzy hair. Lots of love ladies!🥂

If you haven’t used number 3 yet go buy it... yes it expensive for tiny bottle but worth it. Lately I actually been loving the new no. 0 with using 3 after. I was lucky enough to win giveaway from @skincitynyc and get some new products ( I already had them before) I would say one of weaknesses is #olaplex especially #olaplextreatment .... number 6 is also so amazing as curly girl leave in us a must have and love this one OLAPLEX - No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment Kit the only thing make the amazing number 3 even better As natural #curlyhair my hair needs these products.....OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector OLAPLEX - No.5 Bond Maintenance ConditionerOLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance ShampooOLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil These products great any hair type. The holy grail for perfect hair!!!
I have level 2 (almost black) THICK hair and decided to go to platinum blonde. As you can imagine, my hair was horribly dried out, frizzy and out of control. Then I tried: OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector OLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo OLAPLEX - No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme My hair was never even this healthy before the bleach!!! I’m so blown away by these products!! It’s like colour has never even touched my hair. Because my hair is so thick and so bleached, I actually wet my hair a bit, and leave the No. 3 in for about a hour before I have a shower. You don’t have to, it actually says you only need 10m. But I’ve found superior results by leaving it on longer. After about a month with these products, I decided to give OLAPLEX - No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment Kit a try. Honestly, it feels great and nourishing. But I didn’t notice too much of a difference using this in addition to the other 4 products. My hair was great, but it’s great while just using the no. 3,4,5 and 6. Don’t even get me started on OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil I wrote a whole review on this alone, not worth the money at all. Basically, give No. 3,4,5,6 a try. But you can definitely skip the other 2.

Honey for hair 🍯
One of the most beautiful and effective hair oils I have ever tried. I absolutely love anything with honey so I might be a bit biased here but this stuff really so good! You’d imagine it would be heavy and sticky since it’s honey infused but it isn’t at all! It’s light weight, and doesn’t weigh down the hair or feel greasy. My mom and I both use it. I have medium thickness hair and my mom has fine hair and it works wonders for both of us. It works perfectly to add shine, tame her frizz and a very polished look. It doesn’t weigh the hair down and leaves the hair feels soft and looks shiny and smooth after! It contains Mirsalehi honey and honey has both emollient and humectant properties, making it a great hydrator for hair! Honey helps smooth the hair follicles and add shine to the hair. It also helps the hair retain more moisture and by doing so helps bring back its natural shine and radiance. Honey also contains tons of antioxidants, vitamins and amino acids, and it’s so good for the hair! It also contains a blend of other great oils such as coconut and sweet almond oil. It does have a subtle sweet scent like florals and honey. The scent is very unique and I have never found anything else quite like it. It’s a beautiful, subtle and very pleasant scent. The product does contain dimethicone and perfume. But neither of which bother me. Their website shares a number of ways to use the oil such as an overnight treatment, as a pre- styling treatment, as a finishing oil and as an addition to your hair mask. I have used the oil in every single way and I absolutely love it. The oil comes in two sizes - 50ml which retails for $46 USD and $60 CAD and a 100ml size which retails for $ 87 USD and $115 CAD. So far I have gone through two large bottles And three minis. It is an absolute staple in my hair care routine and I’m never without it!

First hair oil and I’m in love
This could easily be one of the most instagrammed products of the year. I’ve seen everyone posting about gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil for months now so I finally decided to try it. I’ve never used a hair oil before, but my stylist recommended I start using one for dry ends. I never even knew my hair was so dry until I started using this! Immediately after using, my hair feels so silky and lush! I really couldn’t believe it. I try to use it every day if I can. It also smells incredible. I just use approximately 3 drops (it’s doesn’t really go in drops for me) and rub it on my hands the apply to the ends of my hair. It says to cover your full hair, but I always feel greasy after I go too high with hair products. This is a 4-star product for me for 2 reasons. The product itself is amazing, but the packaging has been really annoying to travel with (super clunky and heavy). I might try to put it into a different container. Secondly, I just couldn’t find any info on how much to use. I just wing it, but I like to know for sure when I’m using new products 🙈 Anyone else have any luck with this hair oil?

Hair Oils 💇‍♀️⠀
Sorry, I know it’s not skincare. 😂 But I am very excited for this post. These are the Ouai Hair Oils, in the original and rose scent. I’ve only really started to address the frizziness of my super curly hair, and I’m so glad I found these. ⠀ ⠀ The Hair Oil is a lightweight oil that claims to protect from heat and UV damage, smooth out frizzy hair, and give your locks a super smooth finish. I opened up the bottle to smell the product and I immediately wished there was a perfume in this scent. It’s very unique and I wanted to bathe myself in it. I then applied 1 pump to my damp hair, working from the middle down to my roots before applying another pump in the same manner. My hair has been soft and shiny for 2 days now, and I only wash my hair every other day. 10/10 would likely buy this again!⠀ ⠀ The Rose Hair and Body Oil claims to be a multipurpose oil for hair and body that hydrated the skin while restoring shine to your hair and reducing the appearance of damage. This oil is silicone-free. I loved the smell of this oil so much that I went and purchased the Melrose Place perfume, which is the same scent as this oil. For this oil, I applied 2 pumps to my damp hair from root to end and felt as though my roots looked a little greasy. Application method that I used with the original scent seemed to work best for me. I haven’t tried it as a body oil yet, but tomorrow I don’t work so that would be the perfect day! Would I repurchase this one too? Absolutely. They have a value size that I’ll be desperate to have!⠀ ⠀ Do you use hair oil? Drop your favourites in the comments! 👇🏻

Fighting Frizz: Verb Ghost Oil
I’ve heard so much buzz about this hair oil. It’s called Ghost Oil by the brand Verb. VERB - Ghost Oil It’s a lightweight oil that’s supposed to help smooth your hair. I have very curly, dry, frizzy hair and oftentimes I need to use a hair oil after it air dries so my curls can live IN PEACE. You can see in my before photo that my curls are way tighter than they are in my after photo. It appears that while lightweight, this oil turns my curls into waves. This does not happen with other hair oils I own. Additionally, within an hour my hair has soaked up all the oil and is back to being a frizzy mess. If you have thinner hair, and don’t care much about your curl pattern (or don’t have one) you would probably like this oil! A full size bottle is only 2oz for $18, so it’s pretty pricey! I would definitely try to get a sample before buying full size. For my reasons stated above, I have to rate this a 4/5 stars. What’s your favorite hair oil?

The best hair oil ever?
VERB - Ghost Oil Hair oil is a tricky thing to use when you have oily (and I mean truly oily!) hair. I admit that I didn’t exactly know how to fit them into my haircare routine when I first got one, but it’s been a staple in my after shower routine for a few years now. I usually (read: pre-quarantine) wash my hair on a daily basis because of not it looks horrible. However, that means that my ends can tend to get on the drier side. Ever since incorporating oils into my routine, I find that my hair stays soft and shiny until the next day (or two) afterwards. I like to use a full pump on my mid-lengths to ends when it is still wet (my hair is hip-length). I love the way this smells and it glides through my hair effortlessly. I’ve applied it to dry hair as well if I’m going anywhere, and it looks amazing as well. I’ve heard some people say they take issue with this formula because it contains silicones, but I’m personally not against them in my haircare. This is another standout product from their line. I purchased this myself, but was recently gifted the Ghost line by Verb and can’t wait to test it out.

Healthy Nails - Tips from a Nail Biter😬
Okay so I might not be the best person to give advice about how to grow long, healthy nails BUT I’m going to tell you what works for me. I have been a nail biter since before I can remember...as someone who has dealt with life-long anxiety, nail biting/picking, lip biting, nervous-foot-shaking, etc have all been prevalent for me. For years, I was unable to grow my nails because I bit them so bad but one day I just kind of realized a) how disgusting it is (who knows what’s under your nails) and b) it made me really self conscious of my hands. So I decided I wasn’t going to be a nail biter anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I still bite them from time to time when I’m feeling anxious (mostly just pick at them) but for the most part I leave them alone. Some things I have done and currently do to help my nails grow longer and healthier are: supplements - I take a bunch of different natural vitamins + minerals including vitamin c, b-complex, magnesium, vitamin d, and omega-3 which are all great and help make your hair, skin, and nails healthier and stronger. This isn’t the sole reason I take these supplements (hormone imbalances/anxiety/digestive issues are the main reasons) but it’s nice that they can help this too! collagen - ingesting collagen can be really helpful in growing your hair and nails and keeping them strong. For collagen, I’ve been trying out some various products from Vital Proteins (like these bars). castor oil - this stuff has SO MANY uses but I use it on my lashes, brows, and cuticles. I massage a tiny drop into each cuticle a few times a week and it helps them to not be so dry; when they aren’t dry I don’t pick at them so much! nail files/clippers - I try to always file or cut my nails now with one of these two tools instead of biting. hand lotion - I try to keep my hands + nails hydrated and soft (again, so I don’t pick) and the nails don’t break as easily drink a sh*t ton of water - the more hydrated you are, the better off you are overall, right? While I may not always have the perfect nails, I have found these things to really help me when it comes to having much healthier nails and cuticles. What are your tips for growing strong, healthy nails?

Wavy Hairspray: Yes to Movement, No to Crunch
Styling wavy hair can be tricky. My wavy hair is thick in volume yet fine in texture, going down to my mid-back, and it loves to frizz. To control this, hairspray is my best friend. But, not all hairspray was made equally- I’ve ended up with a veritable helmet of hair more than once. I love movement to keep my hair from looking flat, so I was an instant convert when I tried the amika: - Fluxus Touchable Hairspray 💕 • Crunch? I spend money + time to keep my hair soft, so why would I dry it out with hairspray? Fluxus manages to avoid being overly drying, taming fly-always without coating hair in a stiff mess. • Movement? Speaking of stiffness, that’s what you’ll be avoiding with Fluxus. My hair still moves in the breeze, easily combed through with my fingers. No helmet 🙌🏽 How I Style: I’m a minimalist, but I don’t like being a puffball. So when I’m not wearing my hair in a ponytail and ballcap, I typically stick to the tried-and-true! Wash and condition (or amika: - Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo and amika: - Silken Up Dry Conditioner ) followed by a wide-tooth comb detangling session. Briogeo - B. Well Organic + Cold-Pressed 100% Castor Oil applied to tips. Then, once everything has dried, I spray a liberal amount of Fluxus in my palm and smooth my hands over my hair. I repeat a couple times, focusing on my fly-aways and baby hairs, until everything is smoothed and settled. Fancy? No. Easy and effective? Yup!

Don’t pay for pretty packaging 😩
A lot of the time, if you see a product in cute packaging from a certain brand, especially a popular one, there’s a good chance you can find something similar (a dupe) or in some cases, THE SAME EXACT product from another brand. Take DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil for example, we love the bright colors and yes they do have some really great products but you can get an exact match of this! The Ordinary - 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil is the same thing. 100% ingredient match and many reviews say that The Ordinary’s Marula oil is a bit thinner and that actually makes it easier to absorb and spread. It just doesn’t make sense in some cases to pay for something in a pretty package that winds up in the trash anyway. Search the app for dupes and in cases where the product is a single ingredient, like this one, make sure to look for other brands because you can almost guarantee you’ll find it cheaper!! Luckily we have Cherie to help us educate ourselves to find the information we need to find all the dupes and tips and tricks! 🍒🍒

💰💰Money saved!9 Drunk Elephant Skincare Dupes Recommended by Youtuber Cassandra Bankson👍👍!(1)
Hey Cherie Beauties! Recently, The YouTuber, a skincare expert, Cassandra Bankson put together 9 of the best dupes for overpriced drunk elephant products. As a big fan of Cassandra, I watched almost all of her science-based skincare videos. Here is the main content of this video about drunk elephant dupes! Read to save money👉👉! The Original: DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream$68 The Dupe: ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream(Slightly Thicker Application) $18 According to Cassandra, ACURE Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream just copied the DE’s ingredients list and made it cheaper. ACURE boasts the same epidermal growth factors in Protini and includes ferulic and salicylic acids and Vitamin C in the form of a glucoside. Most importantly, they both contain marula oil, which is the special ingredient that Drunk Elephant always used! The Original: DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil$72 The Dupe:  The Ordinary - 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil $9.9 Comparing these two products, they have the same main ingredient, the cold-pressed virgin marula oil. Marula oil is one of the most nourishing oils on the market, with a laundry list of benefits. It delivers significant hydration and absorbs well thanks to its small molecular size. It also comes with an insane amount of antioxidants and omega fatty acids. Since both products only have one ingredient—marula oil—the ordinary oil can be the dupe. The Original: DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream $105 The Dupe: elta md SKINCARE - Renew Eye Gel $77 Cassandra analyzed the ingredients and also found that these two products also have similar ones. They both have niacinamide, which is vitamin b3, a component good for redness and a little bit of oiliness in the skin. Also, they both contain peptides and a form of retinol. Spending less money, you're still getting the same benefits as DE! The Original: DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum $80 The Dupe: cleen beauty - Vitamin C Papaya Glow Serum$9 Undoubtedly, the hype surrounding Drunk Elephant's C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum rightfully deserved, as it uses a 15 percent concentration of vitamin C, fruit enzymes, and antioxidants to promote brighter and clear-looking skin with every use. But there is also a dupe. CLEEN BEAUTY matched up with almost all the same ingredients as the Drunk Elephant C-Firma. It fuses certain percent pure vitamin C with anti-aging ingredients like salicylic acid and neurosensine. Plus, it's also under $10, allowing you to grab eight bottles for the price of one C-Firma serum. But Cassandra gave us a note that because of the tumeric, some people have noticed a slight yellow tint to the skin. Wanna know more DE skincare dupes? Follow me and click on the next post💖💖!

Anti-Dandruff Conditioner & Oil
Like with anything I interpret, dandruff is usually a sign of some kind of underlying physiological issue, like a malfunctioning response to something in the environment (food, chronic social stress), or a genetic predisposition within the body; however, products may maintain and shorten the duration of suffering of a problem to which a solution is yet to be found. I’ve had many encounters with an itchy scalp and flakes over the course of my life. So I’m ok with easing my discomfort before I find out the root cause. Peppermint and rosemary would be the kind of extracts to represent a cooling, clearing effect in the mouth (toothpaste), on irritable skin (acne treatments), and on an itchy a** scalp Pure Anada - Conditioner - Peppermint Rosemary it’s a smooth texture, with a refreshing feeling, as if cooling the inflammation from the continuous itch. It leaves the hair feeling smooth and the scalp clean, but sometimes I’ll look at my scalp and see many colonies of flakes. So to actually combat their visibility and moisturize my scalp, I use Sunny Isle - The Original Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil which is a thick oil, but is known to stimulate hair growth and moisturize skin and take care of scars. I find that it soothes my scalp’s dryness and prevents more cracks in the skin. Only gave it a 4 star because the smell does not compliment the thickness of the oil. #CheriePartner

Tried and True Curly Wash n Go Routine
I have been a natural for 10 years now and I think I can officially say I’ve tried it all. I have low porosity, fine strands and thick density of 4B/C hair. (Yes, she’s a mess sis) It simultaneously is dry and let’s product sit on top. So here’s how I take care of her. 1. Curls - Blueberry Bliss Reparative Hair Wash This wash is so yummy smelling but also gets ALL the product off of your hair. I find it’s best used after a protective style when you have to CLEAN her 🧼 2. I don’t use in shower conditioner. It doesn’t help me. I either deep condition before or just use this leave in. Curls - So So Smooth Vitamin C Leave In Conditioner I wish it penetrates a little more but again it smells fantastic and it does the job. 3. I seal in my moisture with castor oil while my hair is still pretty wet. Sunny Isle - The Original Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil I love this one. No real reason 😆 4. This is a large part of the reason I can get away with no conditioner. CREME OF NATURE - Pure Honey Curl Activator It’s so hydrating sometimes I use it as a leave in when I have braids because it makes your hair smooth out soooo nicely. 5. Lastly, I use Curls - Goddess Curls Botanical Gelle to set the curls. If I don’t use a gel my hair reverts into steel wool once it’s dry. I finger coil my hair (mostly just the front bc I’m lazy) and voila! ✨ I recommend trying these, some may need a conditioner in there but to each his own. I hope it helps. 😊 Being natural can be hard but don’t give up.

One of the best hair oil!!
I love so many of the briogeo products. They work so well for my hair. This new strengthning treatment oil is hit for me. First of all, the packaging itself is so beautiful and the beautiful rose inside just adds a romantic touch. The oil is light weight but you really don't need so much oil. I literally just use two or three drops and apply on my hair and I have long hairs. It doesn't make my hair look oily or greasy. I really like how it softens my dry ends and makes my hair really so smooth looking. This oil has ceramides, macadamia nut derivative and rose oil which are all rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and strength the hair and repair it. The scent smells like a fresh rose which is just plucked but it's very very mild. You probably don't need it if you a perfect oil which works for you but if you are still searching one then this could be it. It's really such a luxurious light weight oil which really treats your hair and makes it look better. Hair type : Long, coarse and frizzy hair.

I Tried This $50 Face Oil And...
I Tried This $50 Face Oil And...
I was not impressed.. I purchased this oil for $12 on Boxycharm because I love using a great face oil at night. Face oils are a great layer of hydration to use after your moisturizer. A great facial moisturizer will: seals in moisture promote glowy skin not clog your pores protect skin help foundation apply smoothly The best way to use a facial oil is to apply after your moisturizer OR mix in with your moisturizer. EMMA HARDIE - Brilliance Facial Oil This oil has sweet almond oil apricot oil Olive oil black currant seed oil grape seed oil lemon oil lavender oil With all these oils I expected better results.. but I find it to not even be close to as beneficial as my Cliganic - 100% Rosehip Oil. I think the issue was the fragrance, limonene, & corral. All of these can cause sensitivity to skin and I think this it what happened to me. I try and try expensive sometimes because of the “hype” and glad I got this on sale because I would’ve been very upset if I spent $50!

Gisou Hair Care 🍯 Hype or Worth it?
Gisou Hair by Negin Mirsalehi is one of those hyped up Instagram / influencer brands that looks amazingly aesthetically pleasing, yet raises the question if it’s worth its luxury price tag. Well, let me get straight to the point: as someone who has tried & tested many different hair products, Gisou’s hair care is one of the best I have come across for my frizzy, dry, color-treated 2b/2c wavy hair. I’ve been using all the Gisou products since they came out and I am blown away by most of them. Here my overview + review of each item featured in my pictures. gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil This Hair Oil is a LIFECHANGER ✨ I have had so many different oils over the year, but no oil is as potent, shine-adding, moisturizing & de-frizzing as this one. It costs a pretty penny but it’s so worth it. It also smells amazing, like a wildflower garden perfume. The oil is quite heavy, so if you have thin/oily-prone hair, skip this one. A full-size bottle lasts me about a year, using it 2-4 times a week. gisou - Hair mask The Gisou Hair Mask is great for people who want a deep hydration treatment, without weighing their hair down. Since the hair oil is more tailored for people with thick hair, this hair mask would work more universally. The smell is amazing as well and I love the cute pink jar. gisou - Honey Infused Hair Wash Great shampoo, without SLES or SLS. It leaves my scalp clean but not stripped. It smells the same as the mask & conditioner and is overall a great, effective yet gentle shampoo. It’s not my favorite item tho, so pass on this one if you have a smaller budget. gisou - Honey Infused Conditioner Just like the shampoo, this conditioner works great as well. On days my hair does not need that much hydration, I love using this conditioner. It does not weigh my hair down, leaves it smelling beautifully, and contains no silicones. gisou - Propolis Infused Heat Protecting Spray So the Heat Protecting Spray is nice, but nothing special. I always use it before I heatstyle my hair, but have not seen any specific ‘heat protecting’ results. It doesn’t leave any residue on the hair, and smells nice, other than that, not that special. All in all, I would highly recommend the Hair Oil. The mask, shampoo & conditioner are great too. The Heat Protecting Spray is nice, but nothing special. Hope this helps! 💕 #cheriecreator

Perfect light weight hair oil!
Perfect light weight hair oil!
#cheriepartner I have bleached my hair so many times and therefore have been left with really dry and often tangly hair, I’m always on the lookout for products that will hydrate, add shine and make my hair feel and look softer. I absolutely love the KeraStraight - Ultimate Oil !! Not only does this product make my hair smell amazing, but it’s very lightweight and instantly adds a nice healthy glow to my hair. I usually put it on my damp hair after coming out of the shower to help detangle it, or I will use 1 pump of the oil after I curl my hair to give the curls some added shine. The bottle also says that it can be used on damp hair before blow drying, however I almost never blow dry my hair. I usually apply the oil and let it air dry. It can also help tame flyaways. Unlike other hair oils I’ve used, this one is not sticky and doesn’t weigh my hair down. The texture is a bit thinner and doesn’t stay on my hands which is great. @cherie

Hair Oils—which is better?
Hair Oils—which is better?
The first oil in the picture is the DNA Argan Oil for hair. This hair serum is extremely luxurious. It smells amazing—but doesn’t have that chemical fragrance scent! I find that this oil melts into my hair making it shiny and soft. I usually apply this serum to my hair once I’ve washed it and I allow it to air dry. I love that when my hair is dry, the strands dont clump together making my hair look greasy. This serum retails for $95 which is a pretty penny. I award this serum 4 ⭐️ because it works great but the price is expensive! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• The second oil in the picture above is the LikWid Rx Stress Reliever Hair Oil. I received this oil in a FabFitFun box. This oil has a thinner consistency and doesn’t smell pleasant but doesn’t necessarily smell bad, it basically just smells like oil. What I don’t like about this oil is that when I apply it to my hair, it does tend to clump up when it dries. I think that if you blow dry your hair and style it, you wouldn’t experience the clumping as you would with air drying. The instructions say to rinse and wash off the scalp after one hour but I only apply this to my ends so I just leave it overnight. This hair oil retails for $75 which again, is a pretty penny! I give this 3 ⭐️ because I don’t care for the smell and it’s expensive, but I believe it does help nourish the hair. If you suffer from dry scalp, this would be helpful for you! First hair oil and I’m in love
