Perfect nude colour for fair/light skin tones
I was really surprised with this nail colour, and how much I love it. This is going to be my every day nude colour for when I’m being indecisive about my nail colour. This is in the shade “buns up”. I have very fair skin, and I feel like this could work for fair to light skin tones. They also have a darker shade in this line called “take the espresso” which I feel like that could work for darker skin tones pretty well. The polish performed average, a few chips by the end of 7 days. Overall, I will continue to wear this!!essie - Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish

Battle of the top coats pt. 2!
Decided to paint my nails this beautiful deep green for Christmas time! The shade of the CND - Vinylux Long Wear Polish is Aura #314. The Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel Top Coat performed pretty well, I had got some recommendations to try this one as many people say it’s there holy grail top coat. The one thing I really like about this is is that I don’t find my polish peeling off my nails. They chipped slightly and when applying I found that some of the polish almost lifted a bit (left pinky finger). I was able to make this polish last 8 days! As for my day 8 nails, my right pointed finger was really the only one with a chip in it. My left hand, all of my nails had chips in them, they were very minor, but still noticeable. Overall I liked this, very comparable to the CND one that I tried in part 1. Let me know if you have any recommendations for parts to come. Happy Holidays!

My favorite at home “gel” manicure!
I’ve gotten so much better at painting my nails after not going into a salon in months, and this combo of products allows my manicure to last a full 2 weeks. I haven’t ventured into gel polishes that require a UV lamp, but the OPI Infinite Shine formula is the same quality. OPI - Infinite Shine Prostay Primer I had never used a nail primer, or even really a base coat, before trying this one, but I definitely feel like it helps the polish stick to the nail better. I’ve tried the infinite shine polish without the primer and my nails chipped much faster. OPI - Long Lasting Nail Polish Infinite Shine 2 this is the shade “engagement to be” which is described as a pale lilac, but appears more grayish purple in person. It’s a beautiful neutral shade and very glossy. The wide brush helps with easy application, and the formula is thick enough to not run, but still allow for buildable coverage through multiple coats. With this particular shade I use 3 coats, but most of the collection only requires 2 coats Seche - Vite Dry Fast Clear Top Coat Super quick drying but also super chip resistant! Makes my nails super glossy but isn’t thick or gummy at all. My nails dry significantly faster with this top coat than any other I’ve ever tried #cheriepartner

3 Most Common Nail Mistakes You’ll Want To Avoid &How To Fix Them!
Since the pandemic started, I’ve had to do my own nails more often. My go-to nail salon has been closed for months. DIY manicures can be a little annoying if you don’t know what you’re doing. I’m telling you my mistakes so you can learn from what I did wrong. My Top 3 Nail Mistakes: 1. Only using one coat of polish I’m the first to admit it, I can be pretty lazy, but one coat of nail polish just doesn’t cut it. I know doing two coats takes more effort and adds to the drying time, but it’s so worth it in the end. 2. Not focusing enough on nail care Nail care is a game-changer! You need to buff, file, and cut your nails before applying polish to get the best results. Buffing really helps smooth out any ridges or inconsistencies on the nail bed. 3. Using a bad top & base coat Do you know that glossy top coat you get from at salons that makes your nails look super shiny and perfect? I didn’t use to care about which base or topcoat I used. I would just use the cheapest one available at the drug store. What a mistake! My Must-Try Nail Products: ●     Seche Vite Base & Top Coat - The Sechevete base and top coats give you that salon-worthy shine you want from a DIY mani. Plus, it helps dry the nails super fast so you can get on with your day! ●     Nail Buff - This thing was only $1, and it’s helped transform the way I give myself manicures! ●     A glass nail file - Did you know glass nail filers are supposed to be healthier for your natural nails? The Final Look I did this fun look for the 4th of July! I filed and buffed my nails with the white buffer and topped them with two coats of my favorite nail polishes by Essie!

Finally, I found the BEST matte top coat!💅💅👏👏
Hi sis! I am a matte nail polish lover. I used various kinds of matte top coats and here is my thoughts.  Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat $6 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel Nail Polish Matte Top Coat Pros Pretty cool in that it does transform your shade to a matte without having to buy another finish in every color you like. It dries fast and results are instant. Most importantly, it is Affordable and neat. Cons Not a super long lasting top coat. BUT I suggest you buy this if the budget is taken into account.   ESSIE matte about you Matte Top Coat $9⭐⭐⭐ essie - Matte About You Top Coat Pros Exclusive, long-lasting and durable formula. Cons Only apply the brush to my nails when there is ALOT of product on the brush itself otherwise it causes even more streaks on the base color. But I don't recommend it compared to the first one.    OPI Matte Top Coat $11⭐ OPI - Matte Top Coat I’m so shocked to see that this product got 4.5 stars on some shopping websites! OPI overall is a great brand, however this top matte coat could not be any WORSE. It’s streaky, leaves a white/pale yellow residue which changes the overall colour of the base nail polish, leaves weird dents on my nails and the matte finish really only lasts a couple of days before it starts to wear off. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, especially given the price of this polish!!❌❌   JINSOON MATTE MAKER (Matte Top Coat) $18 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ JINsoon - Matte Maker (Matte Top Coat) Oh I really loveeeee this one! JINsoon is 10-free and formulated without harsh chemicals and the UV Filter protects against fading or yellowing of color. This is the best matte topcoats that will not only protect our mani from chips and other inevitable wear and tear but offer the coolest, chicest, perfectly matte finish to complement our favorite polish shade this season. I reaaly recommend JINSOON to you!!!💖💖Regardless of your budget, your ultimate play-hard formula awaits!!!

Which Drugstore Gel Polish Reigns Supreme?
Do you all remember when drugstore gel polishes were all the rage a few years ago?! Everyone, including myself, coveted the extra shiny, long-lasting appeal of gel manicures but wanted quicker, more affordable alternatives. I must stress this - I’ve never had a professional gel mani. My comparisons are purely going to be based on longevity, color payoff, & shine. In this post I’m going to discuss 3 popular gel polishes at the drugstore: Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel , essie - Gel Couture Top Coat , and wet n wild - 1 Step WonderGel Nail Color . All of these formulas claim to be long-wearing, high-shine, & don’t need a UV lamp to cure like traditional gel polishes. Sally Hansen: I’m wearing the shade “tidal wave” on my thumbs & pinkies (only left hand photographed). This formula is opaque in 2 coats, has a shiny finish, and easy to apply. I topped it with its matching top coat Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel Top Coat for extra shine. I purchased this shade & top coat as a set for approx $16 a few years ago, and have not had issues with the formulas changing over time. I have 1 other shade (discontinued). They retail for $7-10 each depending where you purchase. Honestly, this formula is not worth the hype or price. This shade lasts longer on me than the other one, but no where near the brand’s claims of being long-wearing. I find that my polish chips within 2-3 days and it’s downhill from there. Easily removable with any polish remover. Essie: I’m wearing “once upon a time” on my index & ring fingers. I received this & essie - Gel Couture Top Coat in an Influenster box a few years ago. The formula has not changed over time. This shade is opaque in 2 coats, shiny, and easy to apply. Sets with a polish & top coat are $18-20 and single polishes around $10-11 depending where you purchase. The formula is true to its claims of even coverage, shine, & fade-resistant. I find this to last about the same time as the WnW polishes (keep reading!). Again, for that reason, not worth the hype or price. Easily removable with any polish remover. Wet n Wild: These are the cheapest at around $5 ea. The 2 downsides are the shade range is significantly smaller (WNW ~ 10, sally hansen ~ 100, Essie ~ 45) & availability. It appears WNW has discontinued most of this line, but you can still find them at Walgreens.com and on the WNW website. This particular shade on my middle finger, “stay classy”, is one of my all-time fave polishes I’ve worn a lot over the last few years. I also have teal shade & the formula is consistent. It’s easy to apply, opaque in 2 coats, and shiny on its own (the 1-step claim) or with Seche - Vite Dry Fast Clear Top Coat This lasts around 3 days without chipping. Easily removable. Because it lasts about the same time as its more expensive counterparts, I recommend these instead. #CheriePartner

My Quarantine Manicure 💅🏻
essie - Gel Couture Top Coat essie - Longwear Nail Polish #cheriepartner This is the manicure I’ve been loving since March! I actually love doing my own nails as opposed to going to a salon! Here are the steps I take: 1. Clean and scrub nails 2. Remove old polish 3. Push back cuticles 4. Apply three thin layers of Essie Gel Couture polish (this shade is ‘Haute to Trot’) 5. Apply Essie Gel Topcoat I’ve been using the Essie Gel Couture polishes lately and I love how shiny they are! They dry super quickly and don’t chip easily. How gorgeous is this shade too!? I love hot pinks for summer. What is your summer manicure shade?

MY CURRENT FAVE DRUGSTORE POLISH
Do you ever love a nail polish colour so much that whenever it’s time to do your nails, you just put the same colour on again? That’s how I feel about this peachy nude polish from Maybelline. It’s from their Super Stay line and it’s called Poet. I got this bottle at Chemist Warehouse for NZ $7-ish, and it’s quickly shot to my favourite colours list. What do I like about it? ➡️ It has a REALLY opaque formula. This nail polish is really a one-coater in every sense of the word. I can get away with applying one coat of this before topcoat, but it feels wrong to only do one! It’s flawless in two coats and always looks perfect. ➡️ The wide brush makes application easy. Seriously - the wide brush fits my cuticles so easily that I can get in there and close without flooding them. I’m pretty sure that these are the standard for nail polish these days, but it never goes unappreciated because it makes it so much easier to get perfect nails. ➡️ It definitely lasts 7 days (and more) If you follow me on my blog, you’ll know that I strongly believe in the importance of topcoat and basecoat making a manicure last. However, even without topcoat, I found that this polish lasted the full 7 days. I actually got 10 days wear with my full top/basecoat routine of essie - Gel.Setter Top Coat and duri - Rejuvacote 1 Nail Growth System .

Nail accent
I love doing a simple look with an accent. Adding a glitter top coat to one nail does just that for me 😍😍essie - Luxeffects Glitter Top Coat in shade “A Cut Above”. This is a clear nail polish with lots ld pink glitter “confetti” pieces. essie - Enamel Nail Polish in shade Ballet slippers- a translucent pale pink shade. This is a great pinky nude nail polish for fair-light skin tones. This is such an easy look to achieve- all I did was apply two coats of Ballet slippers to all my nails, except my ring finger- For that nail I applied one coat. The second coat was the glitter luxe top coat in “a cut above”. I followed up with essie - Gel.Setter Top Coat on all my nails to achieve that gel polish finish. This is also great because it helps your nails dry faster! The one thing I will say about the essie - Luxeffects Glitter Top Coat polish is that its hard to remove since all the glitter pieces are solid pieces that dont come off with acetone. They need to be scraped off with a nail scraper (a flat end) . Having a coat of nail polish underneath the glitter helps in the scraping process since you wont be directly scraping your nail.

GAME-CHANGING TIPS FOR THE PERFECT MANI 💅🏻💖✨
Everyone always wants to know how I manage to keep my nails looking healthy & freshly painted every time they see me. And no, I don’t just paint my nails every time before seeing them. It’s a whole process and habit that I’ve curated for the healthiest strongest nail routine! These are all things that I do and have learned from listening to pro nail artists, from nail care brands, etc.: 1) For a mani that always looks fresh and glossy, repaint your Top Coat every 2-3 days to keep up the shine! You can turn a slightly buffed nail back to it’s glossy glory days easily. This way, your nails will always look like they’ve just been painted and it also prevents chipping! I love my OLIVE&JUNE - Nail Polish Topcoat - it dries fast and looks super shiny. 2) When prepping your nails for your next manicure, shape and cut your nails with your old polish still on! This way, you can easily visualize the shape of your mani without getting distracted or thrown off by your natural nail line. 3) Use a cuticle oil, treatment, or serum! This will help promote healthy growth of your nail, keep away any dry cuticle bits around your nails and always complement your mani with smooth, beautiful cuticles! I love OLIVE&JUNE - Cuticle Serum Set - it’s super lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin so goodbye greasy fingers! 4) More on the cuticles, try not to cut or trim your cuticles- push them back gently with your nail or a cuticle stick instead! But make sure your cuticles have been softened (like a few minutes after applying a cuticle serum or right after a shower). This is something my grandma taught me when I was very young. By gently maintaining your cuticles with this method, your cuticles will never over grow to the point where you need to trim them! Once you start cutting/trimming them, it’s really hard to stop. 5) If you struggle to keep you hand still while painting your nails, try Olive&June’s Manicure Tool, Poppy! It’s a rubber removable tool that fits over most nail polish handles and its ergonomic shape guides you to make smoother and more even strokes! OLIVE&JUNE - The Poppy Manicure Tool 6) Keep up the hand cream! I keep it on my bedside table as a visual reminder to put some on. If you want a super rich one, try L'OCCITANE - Shea Butter Hand Cream ! But if you want something more lightweight and not as thick/sticky feeling after applying, try OLIVE&JUNE - Olive&June Hand Serum ! This will really help moisturize and nourish your hands daily. 7) Use an oil-based, acetone/alcohol-free nail polish remover. An oil-based one like ella+mila - Soy Nail Polish Remover Unscented will help to nourish nails your nails while removing nail polish instead of stripping them of its natural oils! *I know I mention Olive&June a lot but I just want to mention I’m not sponsored by them, I just truly love their products!

DIY Fall Ombre Nails 🍁🍂💅🏻 Super Easy! ✨
These ombre nails are what I call “nail art without actually needing to be good at art”! These nail polish shades are perfect for Fall and definitely make me want to cozy up in bed with a book. Here is what I used: Thumb & Pinky: OLIVE&JUNE - HGC Nail Polish Pointer Finger: OLIVE&JUNE - JJ Nail Polish Middle Finger: OLIVE&JUNE - MG Nail Polish Ring Finger: OLIVE&JUNE - JO Nail Polish I love Olive & June nail polishes because their wide flat brushes make painting SO easy and the formulas are always so creamy. Once they dry, they are not going to chip or crack away! (Seriously! They last a good 2 weeks on me before I see a single chip!) They are $8 on the Olive & June website and they also offer *free* polish painting classes! They have beginner level classes up to advanced that teach you nail basics and nail art! Some tips for painting your nails: - Always build up the color with thin coats (it looks better and will dry much faster than thick goopy coats) - I like to do 3 strokes when painting each nail (first down the middle, and then one on each side) don’t overdo it on the strokes otherwise your polish may gunk up! - Wait 5 minutes between each coat and at least an hour after your top coat - Use some nail polish remover to prep your nail beds before application so it removes any impurities and oils from your nail (which can affect the longevity of your polish!)

Easy Fun Abstract Nails ✨💅🏼
Hi friends! Abstract nails have always been on my “I want to try that!” list. Well, I jumped in without another thought and it’s way easier than I thought it would be! Plus, this way if my nails chip it’s harder to tell. Here’s how I get my fun abstract nails: 1. BASE COAT. Always use a base coat. It extends the life of your manicure and protects your polish from the natural oils of your nail. I’m using HOLO TACO - Long-Lasting Base one of my favorites! 2-4. BEGIN PAINTING IN SPLOTCHES. Start from the lightest color, since covering lighter colors with darker colors is always easier than covering dark colors with lighter colors. I used: cirque colors - cirque colors Cream Polishes Cirque Colors Carnegie, Rose Hook. Then #Lights Lacquer - Emerald[products]#[FourStars] emerald. Added a few dots of HOLO TACO - One-Coat Black black creme. Wait 5-10 mins between coats, since you are probably offsetting the placement anyway. 5. OPTIONAL—A FUN TOPPER? For fun, I added a flaked holographic topper. It elevates the look for me, and I really love this polish... HOLO TACO - Flakie Holographic Nail Polish 6. TOP COAT & FINISHING TOUCHES. If you need to add a second layer of anything, do it now! Other wise wait about 15-30 minutes for everything to fully dry before adding your top coat to seal it all in. Make sure you wrap your top coat over the tip of your nail to prevent chipping! HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco VOILA! You’re ready to live your messy life—and I’m here for it. Have you done abstract nails?! Any tips for me?

Basic DIY Wedding Nails! ✨
I just got married this past week so I thought I would show you guys how I did my nails myself at home. This was surprisingly simple and easy! I chose to go with a basic neutral rose color and my natural nails, which were shaped oval. I don’t have any “nail tech” equipment at home and TBH I am not leaving my house to get a manicure right now LOL, so this was my only option. My nails are natural and pretty brittle, so I have to choose the products I use carefully to protect the health of my nails. I started off with my favorite base coat: the long lasting base from Holo Taco HOLO TACO - Long-Lasting Base this brand has just been so GOOD for my nails. I knew this one would keep my polish on all day so I didn’t have to worry about chipping or lifting. It takes about 10-15 minutes to dry but I don’t mind at all! It’s worth every penny to me at $11. Then I painted 2 coats of Cirque Colors “Rose Kaolin” creme polish cirque colors - cirque colors Cream Polishes . I love Cirque since they are made in the USA and made small-batch, 10-free! The coats dry relatively quickly, about 15-20 mins between coats. At $12 I recommend their polishes! Then I had a crazy thought—I NEED stones on my accent nails. But where do I find them? In my room of course. I found an old piece of cheap jewelry with clear white stones in it so I took a safety pin to it and removed a few stones to glue onto my nails. I used super glue and tweezers to place them and made sure to wait until the coat of creme polish was 10000% dry beforehand. I think they turned out pretty great for DIY! For my top coat I went with my HOLY GRAIL HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco which is only 3-free, but it dries in 5-10 minutes and does not budge. At ALL! No scratches, indents, nothing. I knew I could count on this on top of the stones to seal everything in. SGT is $11 and worth every penny if you have brittle nails like me! What do you think of my DIY wedding nails?! 😂 #CheriePartner

Favorite/Go-To Nail Polish! 💅🏽
Favorite/Go-To Nail Polish! 💅🏽
When I get my nails done, I can take forever to decide what color I want to get. However, when in doubt, I always end up going back to my neutrals because they never disappoint. 👏🏽 One of my very favorite colors is the OPI - OPI Nail Lacquer in “This Cost Me A Mint” - it’s perfect color for any occasion! It has a green tint to it but can look like a cement-ish color on certain angles. It’s a cool tone shade and can honestly be used in summer, spring, fall & winter. ✨ This color also goes on smoothly and I rarely or never have issues with it streaking of being too clumpy. If I’m getting my nails done professionally, I just bring the color with me and hav the technicians use it. However, if painting my own nails (which I’m sure we all have been doing since being in quarantine) I also like to use the OPI - Rapidry Top Coat so that I don’t have to wait forever for my nails to dry. Also included is a pic of my quarantine manicure that I did! 🌟 I was very proud of this nail job btw 😆 Tell me... what’s your favorite nail color? #CheriePartner 💛

my favorite nail polish for any occasion ❤️
hello everyone! today i am showcasing my favorite nail polish that works for any occasion! sinful colors makes really good nail polish that doesnt chip, and goes on to fake nails nicely😊 personally, i think the most flattering nail colors are ones that are close to your skin color. this makes it appear more natural, and the mistakes dont show as much! thats why i chose the shade “gold n’ roses” 🌹 this shade looks close to my skin, but is also very glittery and beautiful ❤️ i pair it with my Sally Hansen - Mega Strength Ultra Shine Top Coat to help make it last longer! i prefer to use it on false, glue on nails that i do myself at home. the polish stays on false nails a lot longer than real ones! i will do a tutorial soon on how i make my fake nais last long💖💖 on false nails especially, youre going to have to do two thin coats to get the true color. otherwise, it will be too sheer. this nail polish dries pretty fast, so dont worry about it being too wet to paint over again. let me know what your favorite nail polish color is below! 💅🏽 dont forget to follow and cheer SINFULCOLOR - SINFULCOLOR Professional Nail Polish

Nail Polish 101 - Perfect Nails at Home 💅🏼
Nail Polish 101 - Perfect Nails at Home 💅🏼
Are you stuck at home? Are you missing the nail salon experience? Well look no further because today I’m going to tell you my tips and secrets on how to achieve the perfect nail look at home! 👍🏼 My first step is always to shape my nails! I like to go for a square slash squared oval nail shape using a nail file and nail clippers. I must be one a few gals who actually does not like super long nails, so I tend to keep them on the short to medium length. For this tip, any nail file and clipper will do the job. No need for a super expensive tool! Next, make sure to have a nail color and top coat ready. In this case I’m using a essie - Enamel Nail Polish in shade Mint Candy Apple ( I gave a full review on this specific nail polish) and Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel Top Coat . I know some people do not like to mix brands but this Sally Hansen top coat is a winner in my book. Pro tip! Do not ANY shake the nail polish bottle, instead roll the nail polish bottle between your hands! When you shake a bottle it can lead to the creation of tiny air pockets, which will then lead to air bubbles - a big no no! Once I have my nail shape and colors ready, I start with the first coat on all nails. Once I finished the first coat, I wait a minute and then go for a second coat. Afterwards I wait 5-10 mins before applying a third coat! This way I ensure the color is solid and there are not any sheer spots on my nails. Finally, 15 mins after the last coat of your nail polish I go in with the top coat. This particular top coat is thick and shiny! I like coating my nails with just one coat of this polish. One coat is more than enough since it is super shiny and thick enough to product the freshly added nail polish color. Once everything is set in place, sit back and relax! Give your nails the proper amount of time to dry on their own. Unless you have a hack to speed up the process (let me know if you do 👀)! I love that this look gives you a classic clean nail look! I rave about Essie nail colors but at the end of the day any favorite color of yours will do the trick! There is something about having your nails done that makes you feel more confident and ready to conquer the day! In my pictures, you can see the tools and products I used to create my look! The second picture is my fresh shaped clean nails, the third picture is after one coat of nail polish, and the fourth picture of the grid is two coats! The second picture is my nails with three coats of nail polish and one layer of top coat! When I paint my nails and follow this process they tend to last anywhere from 7-10 days with minimal chipping. I love that the three coats ensure my nail color is thick enough to battle all of my weekly activities! Remember these products, steps, and tips are all authentically recommend by me and it’s the process I follow! I hope you all enjoy it and try it out for yourself too! 🙂

Don’t ignore nail care — you need this base coat👍
Don’t ignore nail care — you need this base coat👍
Your face needs skin care products so do your nails need proof and care. Frequent nail manicure will cause damage to nails and make them more easily broken. In order to prolong your nail manicure and keep healthy for your nails, you need base coat. Just like building a house, you need good foundation for building, and a base coat is the basis for healthy nails and lasting, good-looking nail arts. To be more specific, let me tell you why you need base coat for nails. Base coat is just like primer for makeup. It has two effects. One is to proof nails from chemical damage and make them look better. The other one is making nail manicure last longer. Girls who have nail manicure and want their nails stay strong to need a base coat. Every time before you’re doing a nail manicure, whether you do a nail manicure at home by yourself or do it on a salon, you should apply base coat on your nails first. With a base coat, your nails will stay shiny and healthy. essie - First Base Base Coat My favorite base coat is this Essie first base, base coat, adhesion + protection. This brand is a professional nail polish brand. This base coat costs $8.2 on Amazon. The bottle is about half a size of a standard bottle of polish. It is usable up to one year upon purchase. If you are looking for a natural glow on your nails and want a quick drying process for manicure, you should try this Essie base coat. Also, it provides smooth surface for color application and helps protect color wear. Applied with this base coat, I can do everything every work with my manicure, because it resists chipping. It helped my nail polish survive longer than without it. This base coat dries very fast, too, so you can apply a thick coat if you prefer. I highly recommend this base coat! Have you tried this base coat before? What do you think of it?

Using a base coat provides a clear protective layer between the nail and the pigment of the polish above. Base coat from Smith and Cult is my favorite. The base coat used with nail polish made for long, chip-resistant wear. Also it’s free of potentially harmful chemicals and ensures smooth coverage and long-lasting wear when applying my polish. SMITH & CULT - Smith & Cult Base Coat Key Benefits: Flawlessly smooth coverage Chip-resistant 8-free formula 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ Here I also have some tips for keep nails healthy: ✔️Do’s✔️ Keep fingernails dry and clean. This prevents bacteria from growing under your fingernails. Repeated or prolonged contact with water can contribute to split fingernails. Wear cotton-lined rubber gloves when washing dishes, cleaning or using harsh chemicals. Practice good nail hygiene. Use sharp manicure scissors or clippers. Trim your nails straight across, then round the tips in a gentle curve. Use moisturizer. When you use hand lotion, rub the lotion into your fingernails and cuticles, too. Apply a protective layer. Applying a nail hardener might help strengthen nails. Ask your doctor about biotin. Some research suggests that the nutritional supplement biotin might help strengthen weak or brittle fingernails. ❌Dont’s❌ To prevent nail damage, don't: Bite your fingernails or pick at your cuticles. These habits can damage the nail bed. Even a minor cut alongside your fingernail can allow bacteria or fungi to enter and cause an infection. Pull off hangnails. You might rip live tissue along with the hangnail. Instead, carefully clip off hangnails. Use harsh nail care products. Limit your use of nail polish remover. When using nail polish remover, opt for an acetone-free formula. Ignore problems. If you have a nail problem that doesn't seem to go away on its own or is associated with other signs and symptoms, consult your doctor or dermatologist for an evaluation.

💫Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel is a great alternative when you don’t have the time or budget to get a salon gel manicure. I own the shades wine stock which is a deep burgundy and per-suede which is a lovely rose nude. 💫The shades layer nicely, I usually do two to three coats. You have to seal the nail polish with the Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel Top Coat but there’s no need for a uv light. If you have quick drying drops, you can place that on top of the top coat to shorten the drying time. 💫I love these polishes, they last about a week after application and maintain a lovely shine throughout like a fresh manicure. 💫You can find them at target for around $9, but try to get them on sale. #CheriePartner
