🩰 OPI Dulce de Leche is Stunning
So I wrote about my experience painting on press-on nails in my last 🖤Almond black nails 🖤 post. I used the same acrylics, base coat, and top coat in that post as in this image. If you like the look of this almond-shaped base, I suggest you read that post! Otherwise, I’m gonna review 2 other products today! OPI Dulce de Leche and Sally Hansen Dry & Go Drops. 🥮 OPI - OPI Nail Lacquer 🍑 COLOR- I found this color through reddit, where it got a lot of love from Laqueristas. It seemed to be universally loved for all skin tones. It looks nude or even cool toned on lighter skin. On darker skin tones, it tends to look like a warmer pink I’m hesitant to call it a universally flattering color because there’s a wide range of skin tones. But since it looks cool or warm depending on the setting, I think it’s a good first nude pink to test if you’re new to polish One more thing: on myself, it looks a LOT better on long nails than short nails. On short nails, it somehow looked too dull and blended in. Longer nails suited it more for me to make it look elegant and bring out its rosy tones. 🏹 PERFORMANCE- This color went on opaque in 1 coat! To be fair, I laid my first coat on thick. But there’s no need for a third coat to get vivid color at all It went on even, not patchy or runny. Plus, the brush is a little flat to help even application. I liked it more than the thin brush a lot of Essie products give you to work with (though I think they’re changing the packaging.) It didn’t take too long to dry- maybe an hour, though I got help from the next product. 🌊 Sally Hansen - Salon Manicure Dry & Go Drops I put two drops of this product on each nail. It covered it completely. In between coats, I didn’t wait more than a minute for each to dry. This solution feels like it creates a protective thin coat around your nail. 5 minutes after application, you can safely (though gently) touch the surface of your nails together without damage. What you CANT do though is put a lot of pressure on it. That will cause a thick smudge that looks like beautiful ocean ripples of dulce de leche. But the product is worth it because it protects your nails from surface level nicks. 🍯 WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT ? 🍯 Yes, 100%. I’ve used patchy, uneven nude polishes before. This is not one of them. I can see why it’s a classic. Almond shaped nails are my favorite because of how elegant they look, but this color would also look STUNNING on ballerina shaped nails. 🩰

🖤 DIY Almond black nails on Press-Ons 🖤
The struggle to grow your nails and not break them is real. I rubbed them with castor oil all the time, but they just kept going *snap*. But I have small nail beds, and the almond shape is my favorite. And by painting press on nails, I think I saved time and money. I did it in 2 steps: 🌟 Step 1) Glue your press-ons. I used the KISS - Kiss Salon Acrylic Natural Nails Forbidden Stiletto Shaped Nails from Amazon. I had to shave the edges of the smallest nails to fit mine, but the acrylic material is REALLY strong. I can hear the click clack of my nails on my phone while typing 😆 It comes with a glue I just applied directly to my clean nails. Then you need to act fast- press the acrylic firmly on your nail. It’ll be dry in 10 seconds, really. Careful, though~ It CAN tug and bond your skin together 👎🏼 my only criticism besides size is that the glue stick hurts to squeeze. It’s tiny and tough to release a little bit at a time, but still- a softer grip would be nice. 🎨 Step 2) Paint time I used the Sally Hansen Xtreme wear polish in 629) Black Out. 🌑 Here’s a review of each: ORLY - Bonder Base Coat, Clear One of the best base coats imo. With regular polish on my natural nail, this has prevented chipping for up to 5 days. It has a tiny orange tint, evening out nail tone like a primer. Sally Hansen - Xtreme Wear Nail Polish In two coats, this black was super opaque. It’s a true black, not blue-tinted or brown. But as shown in pic 3, 1 coat is a little translucent under the sun. The polish also smells more like chemicals, stronger than other brands. Still, it delivered in the color department. essie - Gel.Setter Top Coat I love this little one. It’s thick and viscous, but way glossier than traditional lacquer top coats. It made my nails shine like a mirror. Don’t lay it all at once to avoid air bubbles, but pick this up if you like extra glossiness. 🌰 On nail shapes: Almond Some people label this as stiletto nails. I think it’s more almond because the end is round instead of sharp and pointy Almond nails give the illusion of a longer nail than square, oval, or ballerina nails do. I thought fully sharp stiletto nails would look too vampiric for my taste, but that’s just me. But if you get these nails and want them to be sharper, you can definitely file them They’re flexible enough to fit comfortably, but strong enough for reshaping. 🌹 FINAL NOTES 🌹 I’m happy with each of these products, all things considered. Something about applying polish to press on nails also feels like it dries faster. This method doesnt have the same security as salon-grade acrylics. I had to re-glue my pinky nail last night. 💫 But if you want DIY acrylic nails, this is worth a shot.

Nail stickers are decorations in the form of patches sticking to the nail to make personalized nails. This fashion from Asia is making people happy at a low price. 🤩Your manicures are embellished with stickers, and you dress your nails for your fancy dress or theme parties. They are also used to hide small flaws after applying varnish. Tips for using nail stickers Be careful with the installation of small nail stickers because they are fragile and could tear. To take them off the board, start with the bottom part, gently scraping with the tip of the tweezer. Make sure it adheres perfectly by pressing down with your finger. The protruding pieces can be filed or cut with a jaw pliers. Brands recommend for you. Olive & June If you are obsessed with tropical vibes, don’t miss this brand! Only $8, it can bring you whole summer vibes! NCLA Best for nail lovers who like animal-printed patterns! Dashing Diva Minimalism! Abstractionism! Have you ever tried full cover glue-on nails? They certainly aren’t a new concept, but they’re making a comeback! I’m going to tell you why they're my favourite new way to do my nails, and why they should be yours too!   Ready-to-wear nails can be found near the nail polish in stores, and usually come with glue or adhesive strips. The main complaint that people have is that they don’t last. While they don’t usually last as long as acrylics done at the salon, with a few tips you can get them to last almost as long and with less damage to your natural nail bed.   How to Apply: Make sure your natural nails are clean and buffed. I prefer to keep mine short so there is less area to apply the glue, but any length will work. Your kit should come with many sizes. Pick out before you get started which sizes you need for each nail individually. If you can’t find a perfect fit, choose a nail that fits slightly larger, and file the sides until it does. When you apply the glue, you don’t want too much and you don’t want too little. I like to apply a dot to both my natural nail bed and the nail before I put it on. If you have a lot of glue leak out around the edges when you press it on, then you’ve used too much. Press the entirety of your nail and hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Make sure that you press the whole nail so it lies flat. Press well around the edges, making sure it lies flat near your cuticle. Repeat on all your nails, and trim the length if necessary. Voila! You have a professional manicure in minutes.   Tips:   Carry around some spare glue in your purse so if any nails come off you can reapply. You may have some pop off and that’s ok- just reapply as you did the first time. Make sure to thoroughly dry your hands after washing since moisture is the biggest thing that degrades the nail glue, causing them to come off. When you are ready to take them off, soak them in warm soapy water and gently work a cuticle pusher underneath. Repeat these 2 steps until they comfortably come off.

$10, 2 steps, got Louis Vuitton💸 LV nail sticker🤣
$10, 2 steps, got Louis Vuitton💸 LV nail sticker🤣
How to get an LV under $10? Okkkkay, sisters, my approach is using an LV nail sticker to decorate my monotonous nails! 🤣🤣 Wanna get your personalized, creative, and chic luxury that costs only $10? Only two steps? Let's do it! Step1: Start by washing your hands and drying them well. Apply a primer to your nails. Once dry, you take a sticker with the tweezers or stick and then apply it to the nail. Step2: Press the sticker for a few seconds with your finger. Be sure to apply it meticulously as it adheres firmly to the nail. Then use a hairspray or a top coat nail polish and let it dry. p.s. Remember to file off any excess before putting on the topcoat. You can apply nail polish between the installation of topcoat and sticker. It's up to you to choose the colors that go well. I sincerely hope that Louis Vuitton will not close down due to these stickers! LOL

The Best Gel Nail Strips 🙏
The Best Gel Nail Strips 🙏
I’ve always had issues with getting manicures with the polish chipping in a day or two making me feel like throwing money down the drain every time I got one. So I decided I would no longer pay for Manis and just stick to Pedicures and do my own nails. Most of the time I’d be Buying different nail polishes, overcoats etc and my nails would still chip in 2-3 days. When I received my Allure Beauty Box and they had these DASHING DIVA - Lavendar Dreams Gloss Ultra Shine Gel Strips Gel nail press on gel strips, I was definitely skeptical. I’ve never worn a press on nail let alone a press on sticker? I’m thinking there’s no way these will actually stay on. I went ahead anyway and applied them anyway. They had a good selection of sizes and styles to fit every finger and for a first timer I didn’t do too bad. I actually liked the way they looked, definitely didn’t look like stickers or gel strips at all to me. They looked shiny like a gel coat and surprisingly stayed on for almost two weeks! (Thats when I took the pic above) If you’re thinking about trying out any nail stickers of any sort I would definitely recommend Dashing Divas Ultra Shine Gel strips.

✨one of my best nail looks ✨
✨one of my best nail looks ✨
This is one of the best nail looks I’ve ever done on myself, and it was a very simple although slightly tedious process. I used the KISS - Natural Euphoria and shaped them into the almond shape as seen in the photo using nail clippers and a nail file. This took the longest part as all the nails had to look uniform. I also love the look of an almond shaped nail, I find them sophisticated and sexy. I then used KISS - Maximum Speed Nail Glue to quickly adhere the press on nail to my own nail. I made sure to buff out my nail before applying the nail glue I then polished the nails using SINFULCOLOR - Professional Nail Polish in the shade gold n’ roses. One of my favorite colors for nail polish, it’s a gorgeous metallic rose gold. #CheriePartner
