my am routine
This is my improved morning routine after joining the cherie beauty community! I've added a serum, an eye cream, and an spf, as well as switch my cleanser and toner. I don't wear makeup regularly, but until this routine I've struggled with acne, enlarged pores, and dark circles. I've seen such an improvement. Step one CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I used to use Burts bees sensitive skin cleanser, but the cerave one is much more hydrating and a better price. Step two HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Facial Toner I used to use thayers, but I was made aware of how drying it is, and sure enough, this one is much more soothing to my skin. Step three Cos De BAHA - Azelaic Acid 10% Serum with Niacinamide Acne Scar Removal + Redness Relief Face This serum is amazing. I credit it for the amount my pores have shrunk, and it's affordable! Step four ORIGINS - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff The difference is subtle, but I do think it helps my puffiness and dark circles. Step five WELEDA - Skin Food Light The most amazing moisturizer I have ever used!! So hydrating and soaks into my skin so well. Step six Krave - The Beet Shield This is such a great option for spf. The vitamin c in the formula makes my skin glowy, and it spreads so well. Honestly I'm really happy with the results of this routine. I'll share my pm routine with you guys soon 💖
ORIGINS GINZING EYES
I’m really just starting to love all Origins products. I haven’t found one that I haven’t liked yet. So I got this in one of my Sephora favorites sample bag. I’m really obsessed with eye creams in general, so I was super excited about this guy. It absorbs very quickly, it has a faint shimmer to it, which instantly brightens your eyes. It really is a solid eye cream. I gotta buy some now because my mom used it once and hijacked it from me 😑 Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a new eye cream 🤍 ORIGINS - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff What It Does: Formulated with Panax Ginseng & Caffeine from Coffee, this energizing eye cream instantly brightens & helps restore radiance Skin Type: Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily Skincare Concerns: Dullness, Dark Circles, and Puffiness MAIN INGREDIENT Coffee: Found in Ethiopia, its energizing properties help wake up, refresh, and restore radiance to tired skin. I’d rather get coal than...
So I became really into skincare earlier this year and one of the first brands I became really interested in was Drunk Elephant. I had already tried the Protini and thought it was pretty good, so I decided to try the C-Tango eye cream. Bad decision. Ive been using this cream everyday for about 6 months now and I have not seen an improvement at all. My fine lines have barely diminished and I’m pretty sure my dark circles have gotten worse. On top of that, every time I apply it, even when it’s just a dot, it BURNS. Seriously, I know that the skin around your eyes is more fragile compared to the rest of the skin on your face, but I’ve still never considered my skin to be sensitive. But applying this product always burns my skins. I usually have to apply a CBD serum directly after to calm down my skin. DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream This thing was f***king expensive so I plan on finishing the bottle. But as soon as I’m done I’m switching back to perricone MD cold plasma eye cream ( a holy grail y’all).
Skin brightening AM/PM , pores , dark circles
I’m looking to improve my AM/PM routine . My current concerns are dark circles , pores and dull skin I started using Kate Somerville - ExfoliKate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream TATCHA - The Water Cream PAULA'S CHOICE - Invisible Finish Moisture Gel PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist Anti-Aging Tinted Moisturizer SPF30 And for PM Same cleanser , eye cream , drunk elephant vitamin c serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream And some times i use DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I discontinued using DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil thinking that it might increase my pores Please suggest if I need to make some modifications to my routine..I’m not seeing any improvement in my dark circles and pores. My skin turned out a little better than before though..

COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser Claims: This gel type cleanser with Tea-Tree Oil and natural BHA to shrink the sizes of pores and and refine the skins texture. It gently dissolves oil, dirt and other impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils. I really wanted to like this cleanser. I enjoyed the texture of it, but it was just too drying for my skin. I also didn’t notice any refining of my pores. I won’t be repurchasing. COSRX - One Step Green Hero Calming Pad Claims: Essence made of Green Tea Leaf Water and Green-Rx Complex relieve redness and irritation while providing gentle exfoliation. It contains Lactobionic Acid to even-out skin texture and enhance the skin's natural barrier. This product was also not my fave. I was in search of a calming product because of a damaged skin barrier. This stung a little after I used it. Will not be repurchasing. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum Claims: Working across multiple layers of the skin, this super serum hydrates your skin, helping it appear plump and smooth, while reducing the appearance of fine lines. I understand the hype behind this product. It’s water like consistency immediately absorbs into your skin and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. Would repurchase The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Claims: Niacinamideis indicated to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. A high 10% concentration of this vitamin is supported in the formula by zinc to balance visible aspects of sebum activity. This product really helped with my hormonal acne! Repurchase? I already did! FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration Claims: Instant relief and long-term hydration for dry, distressed skin, even eczema. Suitable for all skin types, leaves skin feeling smooth, hydrated and comfortable after just a single use. This is a very thick yet whipped consistency. I intended to used this on super dry areas on my face, but it had a harsh sting. I did start using it on the rest of my body and got really good results! CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream Claim: Help reduce the appearance of dark circles, eye puffiness and brighten the entire eye area. Suitable for all skin types, this non-greasy, fast-absorbing, fragrance-free eye cream My moisturizer was lacking in some key ingredient areas like ceramides, It was soft and absorbed super quickly. I liked this product. I would consider repurchasing it. THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream Claims: Reduces the appearance of puffiness and dark circles, Can also reduce the appearance of fine lines and the smooth texture provides a perfect canvas for make-up. I have noticed an improvement using this eye cream! The caffeine acting as a diuretic does make a difference. I would repurchase this, but I’m curious to try their retinol eye cream.
My acne journey through birth control
In my first pic that was my face before I started birth control, pretty clear, occasional pimple here and there. But then i started the pill for my terrible periods and i started breaking out like crazy. Bumps all over my forehead and chin as you can see in the second and third pic. I’ve started to update skin routine a little and the 4th pic is where i’m at now. any tips anyone has would be great! this is my skin care routine now AM CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser i started using this and i think it helped my bumps a lot. I have seen some improvement. HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Spray i like this product i think it helps hydrate my skin. It also helped with my oily skin too. When i run out of the spray i’m going to use the HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Facial Toner for the hyaluronic acid. so if anyone has any experience with this product let me know! THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream Helps with my puffy eyes! Seen some improvement with my eye bags over time! CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This is a basic moisturizer and i like it. i have oily skin and i like how lightweight it is. I also like the added ceramides for my skin barrier. PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ PURITO - Comfy Water Sun Block i think the green level sun screen makes me pretty greasy. The comfy water sunblock is way better for my oily skin, i just have to rub it in longer since it is a mineral sunscreen. PM - Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil i like this cleansing oil it gets off my sunscreen and mascara well. it doesn’t leave a greasy residue when i wash it off either. I love to try new products lol so when i finish this i might try THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm or BIODERMA - Atoderm Shower Oil(i know this says shower oil but on amazon it says cleansing oil, shower oil, many purposes and the reviews say it takes their makeup and sunscreen off really well) so once again if anyone has used these products let me know how they were! CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Pretty basic i like it. Really no complaints or anything that sticks out about this product that i LOVE LOVE. When i finish this i might try LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming CleanserLet me know if anyone has used this and their experience with it! Nizoral - Anti Dandruff Shampoo i use this as a face mask for about 5 mins. i don’t use this every night, i maybe use this 2-3 times a night. Kinda burns but i feel it works DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel really just did not work on my skin, i haven’t seen much improvement because of this. i’ve been using this for 2 months THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin

Don’t sleep on eye care 😴 🌟
Working in skincare one of the biggest questions I came across was “Do I really need under eye cream?” the short answer is yes! YES YES YES. Treating your under-eye area is essential to keeping them as healthy as possible. The skin underneath our eyes is very delicate and thin and so using products that are meant specifically for your under-eye area is extremely important. Anyone looking to dip their toe into under-eye care should start with under-eye patches! Patches can be more affordable than expensive under eye cream and are super low maintenance. There are multiple patches that can help rehydrate your under eyes as well as reduce wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness. One of my favorite under yee patches is the E.L.F Hydrogel Under Eye Mask. These come in a pack of three and retail at $8.00. e.l.f. - Hydrogel Under Eye Mask The hydrating gel helps to plump, moisturize, and soothe under eyes for a refreshing finish. The gel makes these really comfortable to wear and super easy to remove. Being an insomniac I find myself really seeing improvement from these after long nights of binging Netflix. The best part is you can easily pop these on while you finish the rest of your morning routine. I leave them on for about 10minutes twice a week. Another thing to keep in mind when considering including eye care to your skincare routine is what you plan to get of your eye cream/products. Often Ive heard people share that they don’t see results or feel as if it isn’t necessary however that has a lot to do with what products you are picking out. For example, using a hydrating eye cream such as Kiehl’s avocado undereye may not revert your wrinkles (if you already have some) however if you are on the younger end and are looking for something to help proactively this is a great investment! Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado If you looking to reduce wrinkles then pick an eye cream with powerful ingredients such as Kiehls Powerful Wrinkle Reducinf Kiehl's - Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream
My favorite skincare products at the moment
Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanser Our face requires more delicate care, so it is important to remember that specific products for this region bring smoother substances in the formula. I love Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser because its gentle formula is packed with natural nutrients coming from Avocado Oil, Apricot Kernels, and Squalane all of which help to keep our skin healthy, clean, and moisturized without over-drying or stripping it. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream Sometimes the weather can be pretty harsh on our skin, and if you have dry skin like me, then you know how important it is to have a facial cream incorporated into your skincare routine. I started using Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream a couple of weeks ago, and almost immediately I could see the difference. Over the last couple of weeks, my skin has become much softener, smoother, and I haven't noticed any dry spots on my chicks anymore. Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado Kiehl's - Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution I also love Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment and their Corrective Dark Spot Solution. I confess that I had never used any eye cream or dark spots treatments before, but I am so glad I incorporated these into my skincare. I love that Kiehl's eye treatment is non-greasy, and does not irritate my eyes. It does a great job of keeping my eyes hydrated, and it has helped me to reduce my dark circles as well. Now the Corrective Dark Spot Solution is also a great skincare product. This serum has helped me reduce post-acne marks, which is a great deal for me! I love that it has been tested on all ethnicities and is suitable for all skin types. Keep in mind that your skincare routine does not need to be boring, and makes you feel as if it is an obligation. For example, I love to do my skincare while enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the morning, and at night I do it while I watch my favorite cartoons. Take it easy, and if you forget to do it one day, or even a couple of days, please don't go hard on yourself.

We are making progress, folks
Just hopping on to say that the addition of a couple of new products into my routine has been a real game-changer! 1. I have been consistently using CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin as my nightly cleanser and I love it! 2. L'ORÉAL - Pure Clay Purity Mask is one of my favorite things. It smells really nice (hard to describe the smell, but it’s very pleasant), visibly shows where it is soaking up your excess oils, and leaves my skin feeling suuuuper soft and refreshed. I’ve noticed that my nose, which was typically dry on top and oily on the sides, is much more balanced now. 3. I suffer from allergies, which causes me to rub my eyes a bunch. I am sure that this is causing premature wrinkles under my eyes, so I wanted to do something about it (and combat any dark circles in the meantime)! It’s only been about a week since I’ve started using CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream, so I can’t definitively vouch for or against it yet. ⭐️⭐️ My next task is to purchase The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%to tackle my pores and acne scars. Stay tuned!! ⭐️⭐️
How I Saved My Skin
I never had acne until I graduated high school and it was caused from a chemical burn that I got from some of the products that I have been using for years. After changing my routine several times I finally found some thing that not only keeps my acne away but helps clear any scarring or dark spots that I have as a result of it. I love every single one of these products, they are all affordable and actually work. I have sensitive skin and eczema around my eye and mouth area. My skins never felt better

OMG - For all the wrong reasons
So, here’s the thing.... If you want to read up on what this OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème claims to do, I suggest you Google or search for someone else’s review because I’ve got nothing much more to say about this product except for “waste of money”. Oh it enhanced my eye area alright - with the most red, itchy, puffy, irritated look I’ve ever experienced and I was far from impressed. I don’t even have sensitive skin usually! you can see the second pic for what it did It took me a good 2 months to work out what was the culprit in my skincare and by process of elimination the last cosmetic standing (infamously) was this one. I hauled it straight back to Sephora and they were nice enough to give me a full refund without question; although something tells me I’m not the first person to have ever returned this horrible product. I’m never one to return cosmetics, nor give such harsh reviews. But after what this did to me, and now reading so many others who had this same reaction from this product, I felt compelled to share my experience. Jury is out on what caused such a reaction: but from my guess it’s the Fragrance and citrus extracts and potentially the potency of the Vitamin C. YOU LIVE AND LEARN
Why you need eye cream !!!
My favorite eye cream is OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème Check my previous post to see my review on it . The skin around the eyes is more fragile, more prone to dryness, and quicker to show age and fatigue. Squinting and constant movement of the eyes also hasten the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and fluids collect under the eyes and cause puffiness and dark circles. Eye creams can address some of these issues. The most common form of protection an eye cream can provide is the ability to prevent sun damage when the formulation has been packed with SPF. Eye cream can also act as a protective barrier between the skin and any external factors (e.g. makeup and chemicals), preventing any further damage. Applying eye cream should be the final step in your skin care routine every day, both in the morning and at night. The one exception? You should apply sunscreen after eye cream! Most eye creams claim that they remove dark circles and fade lines or reduce puffiness, but most don't! ... Dark circles are either hereditary or as a result of collagen reduction from ageing, this makes blood vessels appear more noticeable through skin. The 9 Best Eye Creams, According to Dermatologists Biopelle Radiance Eye Cream. ... Lumiere Bio-Restorative Eye Cream. ... L'Oreal Revitalift Volume Filler Eye Treatment. ... Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye. ... Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream. ... Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum. ... Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Gel. The skin around your eyes is thinner and more delicate than the rest of your face so facial moisturizers and eye creams are both formulated to be lighter and less greasy than body moisturizers. ... Eye creams are formulated to be extra mild since the area around the eye is particularly sensitive to irritation.

💧HYDRATING Eye Creams for Anti-Aging💧
When it comes to anti-aging, finding products is easier than you may think. Look beyond just "anti-aging" on the label, and seek out hydration instead. Lack of hydration is often a major reason behind fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes! ⬇️ Here are two of my favorites at different prices ⬇ ️ belif - Moisturizing Eye Bomb My current favorite! It is ultra hydrating and soothing, provides a great base for makeup, and includes powerful, stand out ingredients. Key Ingredients : Squalane- provides lightweight hydration, doesn't clog pores Potent Plant Extracts- calendula flower extract, for example, tightens and is anti-inflammatory Ceramides- protects skin's natural barrier by preventing water loss, protects from environmental stressors CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream This is a richer cream but more affordable! Feels great for ultra dry eyes and perfect for night time. Key Ingredients: Ceramides- as I already mentioned, this is amazing for anti-aging as it locks in the skin's moisture Hyaluronic Acid- draws in moisture from the air and holds 1000x its weight in water! Skin Soothing Oils and Aloe- calming, reduces irritation Is Hydration the answer to fine lines and wrinkles? Overall, it is an essential component to any anti-aging routine. When the skin is properly hydrated, especially the thin skin around the eyes, it appears healthier, plumper, and brighter. Without proper hydration, any anti-aging treatment won't work as effectively. Trying something moisturizing may give you the anti-aging results you have been searching for!
Review my PM routine!
Hello friends! I’m new here :) Figured some good opening posts would be sharing my AM and PM routines and asking for recommendations! My skin is notoriously dry and acne-prone. Throughout high school and my first couple years of college I struggled with acne and texture problems like little bumps and dry, flaky patches. Throughout the past year, though, I’ve put a lot of effort into finding products I love that help with these issues. I’m still developing my routines, but this is exactly what I’ve been doing for about a month now and the results have been SO incredible! Keep scrolling for a look at my nighttime routine: 1. Cleanse - LUSH - Sleepy Face Naked Cleansing Balm I love this cleansing balm. Not only is its little face so cute, its smell is so soothing and it is incredible at dissolving makeup. It’s essentially just... oils, so it’s also very moisturizing and doesn’t strip my skin. I usually just use this to cleanse because I don’t wear any makeup 95% of the time, but if I do have a full face on I’ll use a gel cleanser first to get as much makeup off as possible 2. Exfoliate - The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA This was one of the first products that absolutely transformed my skin. I used to be a diehard exfoliating scrub user, but the upgrade to chemical exfoliation was... life-changing 3. Moisturize - belif - The True Cream-Moisturizing Bomb I bought this moisturizer for the first time over a year ago and didn’t realize what I had until months later. Now I don’t think I’ll ever stop repurchasing! I love that the formula is thick and creamy to keep my skin extra hydrated during the night. It also is a great base to mix in The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 if I’m feeling extra dry 4. Treatments - The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5% in Squalane + The Ordinary - Amino Acids + B5 I alternate using these two products from The Ordinary most nights. I’m just 21, so I’m not too obsessive about the retinol and just use it whenever I remember. The amino acids are great for maintaining my moisture barrier, but can also be irritating if I use them too often or too heavily. Another product I pretty much just use whenever I think of it 5. Eyes - belif - Moisturizing Eye Bomb + The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG This is the newest addition to my routine. I was hesitant to add caffeine because my under eyes aren’t really puffy... at all... so I didn’t think I needed it. Then I learned that it can also help with pigmentation and my under eye circles are dark, to say the least. Haven’t seen results yet, but I’m willing to stick it out and see in a couple months if there’s any improvement And that’s how I keep my skin hydrated and smooth all night! Thanks for reading!

So Many Textures!
- Self Care Monday - So, I just realized that there are so many different textures in skincare. Well, I already knew that but I hadn’t noticed how many different ones I already have. I’ve decided to put together my own little list of different skincare product textures. Here’s the Scoop!..... - Balms - A Balm is a combination of Butters, Oils and Waxes used in Skincare as the base to which essential oils or other active ingredients are added. - Creams - Creams have similar ingredients as a Balm, however, they also contain water. This means that they need preservatives as an anti-microbial to avoid the cream from going off, unlike Balms, which do not contain water. - Gel - A Gel is usually transparent when cream is not. Gels are usually oil free and disappear when applied. A Gel is like a cross between a solid and a liquid but does not behave like either. They are actually closer to liquids than solids because they are mostly water. - Foam - A Foam is simply a conglomeration of tiny bubbles (thin liquid membranes that entrap air) Foams can be very lacy or it can be very rich and dense. Foams tend to use less Surfactants (the cleansing chemicals used to remove dirt and oils from your skin) so they’re ideal for acne-prone or sensitive skin. Well, those are just a few to list. I mostly use these three types in my daily Skincare routines. My favorite would be Foaming Face Washes. They are so gentle and easy to apply and rinse off. Thank you for reading and sticking with me through all my my articles! I had fun making this video. I enjoy looking at all the different textures. Stay safe and well!! 🍒ANY FARMACISTS OUT HERE?! 🍒
🍒 Are you a Farmacy lover? Perhaps a self proclaimed Farmacist? 😉 What are you favourite products?! What others do I NEED to know about? Cue, my first ever Farmacy purchase! I’ve been eyeing this brand forevvvvveer, and I hear nothing but good things from all you skincare lovers on here! I try not to have too many products on the go at the same time, but now that I’m finished my Biossance eye cream, I thought I’d give Farmacy’s Cheer up, and Earth Harbors Aqua Aura a spin before I resort back to my HG eye cream (Biossance). 🍒The texture at first feels very soft and plush almost, but you can definitely feel it absorb as a thick cream! It feels super hydrating a soft on the skin when patch tested. 🍒It claims to firm and smooth the look of fine lines, with 4% vitamin C, natural peptides and Caffeine. While three types of vitamin C including acerola cherry rejuvenate the eye contour and help reduce the look of dark circles. 🍒This little guy goes for $58 CAD for a 15ml pot and has a 1 year P.A.O lifespan! Based on patch test I’m excited to dig into this and have high hopes for this product! Can’t wait to update you with my results ! Biossance eye cream Review
The newest @biossance eye cream provides a remarkable amount of hydration to the sensitive periorbital region. After about 3 months of continuous use, I was able to notice a slight improvement in my (usually dry) undereye area’s moisture retention capacity. In comparison to other eye creams, the creamy texture of the formula looks and feels relatively thick, but Is easily absorbed into the skin. This cream also allowed my concealer to last measurably longer than usual. Contrary to what’s advertised, It didn’t smooth out nor did it improve the look of my fine lines. My other issue with this cream is having to dip my fingers in the jar every time I use it. By the time I was done with it, I noticed the presence of little impurities and black fibers in the cream (probably introduced into the formula through my fingers). A sealed pump container is much better. With that being said, This is the best Eye cream I’ve ever tried so far (closely followed by the dew it all @farmacybeauty ). Have you tried this cream before?BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream

Legit luxury but worth it? 🤔
You are all super familiar now of the brand Tatcha. It became really popular and you started seeing a ton of influencers touting their products. This brand was started by a Missouri-born Taiwanese American who holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She worked in large corporations for over 10 years and decided she wanted to start a skincare line with a more holistic approach using classical Japanese beauty secrets passed down by generations that took a different approach to skincare - that less is more. You’ll see some really unique ingredients in Tatcha’s products! So needless to say, I needed to try it! Here’s one of the products I’ve tried. TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream Claims: An anti-aging eye cream that melts to release a double shield of hydration with line-smoothing liquid silk and moisture-locking Japanese White Peony for youthful, radiant eyes. Cushiony balm designed for comfort around the delicate eye area melts upon application to release a powerful moisturizing elixir with liquid silk. Blurs the look of fine lines and wrinkles, helping skin resemble the soft, smooth, natural radiance of pure silk. Ideal for prepping the eye area before makeup application. Key ingredients 🌸 🌸Japanese White Peony Extract- helps strengthen the skin barrier function, providing a “seal” that enables the thinnest skin around the eye area to retain moisture for reduced dryness and sensitivity. 🌸Silk Extract- Includes the two proteins that comprise silk — sericin and fibroin — that together closely parallel the amino acid structure of human skin. This complete protein provides a protective veil of hydration like a second skin without weighing it down, revealing a lustrous glow. 🌸Hadasei-3 Complex- a signature trio of pure Japanese superfoods, double fermented to yield essential skin nutrients for visibly radiant, more youthful-looking eyes. My experience- I know a lot of us think eye creams are just unnecessary because you can use a regular moisturizer and it works the same. I agree with this with the exception of a few eye creams and this is one of them. After applying this lightly to my under eye area, the skin just looks better with a hint of brightness. As I’m aging, I notice the skin under my eyes getting saggier and most likely thinner and since I’ve been using this eye cream, alternating with one other, that is actually getting better. It’s looking brighter and my eye bags aren’t as bad. This cream really does seem to melt into silk on my skin and looks like it literally lifts that area. I’ll definitely continue using and provide some before and after pics to see how it goes with long term use but for now I really like it! This is expensive at $60.00 for .05 oz. so I wouldn’t really recommend this unless you are trying to combat aging. Otherwise I do think a less expensive cream or just a moisturizer is fine! 🌸🌸🌸
🍬🍃TATCHA MINIS HAUL🍃🍬
💜This is a recent Tatcha haul I scooped from Sephora with my VIB discount & saved up points, but I definitely placed an order today on tatcha.com to take advantage of their 20% off sale. Such a good time to purchase from Tatcha! I grabbed a couple old 5 star favorites like the Gold Spun lip balm & their Japanese blotting papers, as well as some other things I’ve been wanting to check out. Tatcha is actually an American brand, made in Japan🇯🇵, that adheres to Japan’s official safety & purity standards, one of the highest in the world, much stricter than the US (for more on that, check out my last post, or the 2015 documentary on Netflix called Stink) They were recently acquired by Unilever, so I hope they don’t ever change their standards! Tatcha sources all of their botanical extracts, ingredients & actives from plants grown in the most renowned provenances of Japan. 🍵🍚🌊Their formulas revolve around key ingredients Green Tea, Rice & Seaweed, the trinity of superfoods, rich in both nutrients & Japanese history, based on a Japanese document from 1813 which captured the beauty rituals of the time. ➕Their 2x fermented ‘Hadasei-3 complex’ yields over 85 actives like Enzymes, Minerals, Lactic & Amino Acids. It’s been a couple years since I’ve purchased Tatcha products, I’ve always loved their face creams, but we all know Tatcha is pricey!!! I think I was just always into moving on & trying something new, but oh how I missed them! I haven’t had as much luck with Tatcha cleansers in the past, I do adore their rice polish exfoliators 🍚 but personally was never a fan of the ‘One Step Camellia cleansing oil’ scent. I don’t think I’ve ever tried ‘The Deep Cleanse’ but I’m actually most excited to try their new cream cleanser: ‘The Rice Wash’🍚💦 I was also excited to finally try ‘The Silk Peony melting eye cream’ too, so this set was a no brainer! TATCHA - Pure & Glowing Trio set: $72 The ‘Pure & Glowing Trio’ set includes: a full size 1.7 oz Dewy Skin cream ($68) a 1.7 oz Rice Wash cleanser (full size is $35/4 oz) & 0.17 oz Silk Peony eye cream (full size $60/.5 oz) 🍬For now I’m just gonna share texture swatches & ingredients, but stay tuned... I’ll be rating everything in full review of every product coming soon! 💧TATCHA - Balanced Skin Duo The other products pictured are minis from a ‘Sephora Beauty Insider’ 300-point option that included: one mini ‘The Deep Cleanse’ 0.85 oz & one mini ‘The Water Cream’ 0.34 oz TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser Full size: $38/5 oz TATCHA - The Water Cream Full size $68/1.7 oz 💜In the meantime, check out that sale! I’m HOOKED! Mango & Green Tea Firming Eye Mask
Now , I was never into eye creams because I felt they didn’t work. I recieved this Herbal Dynamics Beauty - MANGO & GREEN TEA FIRMING EYE MASK in a beauty subscription box (I forgot which ones 😆) and Ive been using it off and on for some months and I love it. Every time I used this product I was amazed at how soft my under eye area felt, the tingle afterward, non irritating, and my under eyes looked a lot brighter. This product reduces the appearance of dark circles with green tea and caffeine as apple and mango extracts calm and soothe puffiness. Nourishing mango butter and phospholipids hydrate. ✅PROS✅ 🎀The texture is smooth and very hydrating. When applied it has a tingle and you can feel it working. 🎀This is applied , left on for 3 minutes and then removed. I like that this is a quick treatment that can be done in the morning. 🎀I didn’t have any irritation with using this near the eye area which is important. 🎀I prefer eye mask over creams because I feel like over time you will see better results. 🎀Inexpensive this is only $20 currently it’s on sale for $15 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼 as of June 7 2020 and they have a 20%off) I PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE 🤷🏼♀️😂 🎀A little goes a long way ! This will last you some time. 🎀Smells delicious a light mango scent. 🎀Green Tea is great for the eye area , it helps with dark circles. 🎀 Not Tested on animals, Paraben Free, Phthalate Free NO CONS 🤷🏼♀️ If you are looking for an eye treatment/ mask I highly suggest giving Herbal Dynamic Beauty a try and they have other eye treatments. Moisture Surge Eye Serum 96-Hour Hydro-Filler
The product: Claims to lock in moisture for 96 hours for crease plumping hydration and visibility tighten and brighten the under eyes. My thoughts: I love the feel of this product, the gel is cooling and refreshing to apply. I used the serum every morning for 7 days and it definitely helped with my morning puffiness. Price: I got this as part of my Sephora play box. A full size (15ml) bottle retails for $34. Recommend: definitely! I’ve used the original Clinique facial Moisture Surge for 2 years and I will definitely be purchasing the full size Eye Concentrate and adding it to my daily routine. Also it’s time to get a new facial Moisture Surge! Can’t recommend it enough for people with dry skin.

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Serum
This is The Inkey List’s Caffeine eye serum! It’s meant to be worn either under an existing eye cream or used on its own. It’s meant to make you look awake (even if you’re not!). It is a smooth serum texture and is not cold. It’s white but smooths out to a clear application. A little goes A LONG way. I really love it! I use it everyday, both at night and in the morning. It makes me look awake and takes away some pigmentation. In addition, it’s one of the most effective and cheapest eye serums I’ve ever used. I liked it because, in addition to what mentioned above, I don’t have to use a lot. My eye area gets very dry and this is very hydrating. I would recommend the product to someone else because it’s cheap and effective. The product is SO worth it and the fact that it’s at Sephora makes it so much more accessible! The Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado is described as being a creamy, moisturizing eye treatment to serum that moisturizes the under eyes with avocado oil. This eye treatment is designed specifically for people with dry skin, since it is super creamy. ⭐️ This eye treatment is a staple in my routine. I’ve used it for about a full year now and I don’t plan on switching to another one anytime soon. I take the tiniest amount and gently pat it in with my ring fingers for the most luxurious, moisturized effect I’ve ever experienced with an eye serum. I typically have flaky skin around my eyes and this really smooths it out. I would highly recomend this to anyone with dry skin looking for a really good eye treatment. Also, don’t bother buying the big size, the smaller size is a way better deal and I still haven’t used all of it yet.

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Serum
I must admit that I was super skeptical about any kind of eye cream, I thought it was overhyped. I was only certain I wanted to try something from the Inkey List because of their low price point and wanted to see if it compared to The Ordinary or The Good Molecules, to my surprise, it performed just as well! - I do also admit that while I don’t use this eye cream absolutely every morning and night like suggested, I do see quick benefits when I apply it on my no makeup days. I love prepping my skin in the morning an quickly tapping a small amount of this cream to depuff my under eyes in less that 2 mins. It makes me look well rested, even if that’s far from the truth. I can say that i have to be careful when tapping this around the contour of my eye because can start to sting if too close to my water line. - I would love to recommend this to anyone who is looking to depuff and energize their eye, quickly. I wish I was more consistent so that I can speak more towards the longer term benefits. At only $9.99 on Sephora you can’t beat it! It’s a great low budget purchase. I’ve purchased one for my mom who has been bugging me about her bags looking like laundry bags 😭
THE inkey LIST-Caffeine Eye Cream
This Dermalogica eye serum contains antioxidant vitamins (defend against free radicals), protective silicones (diminish fine lines and smooths skin), and Red Seaweed Extract that combat fine lines around the eye area. There is also Green Tea to soothe the skin. I use this on the under eye area, eye lid, and brow bone. I am middle 20s, so thankfully don’t have any fine lines yet, but using it as a preventative! This product is targeted for erasing fine lines around the eye area. It functions as hydrating, soothing, and erasing fine lines. The texture of this is a smooth, silicone-like texture that easily sinks into the skin. I have fallen in love with this product, I use it in the morning since it says it can be worn under makeup. It sinks in quickly and doesn’t leave behind an oily feeling. I have been staying up later and get up early (have 8ams 😫) and this has helped I’m sure with not getting lines from lack of sleep, I’m also a smiler so smile/laugh lines are headed my way. I would recommend this product, but only on sale since it’s so expensive. A neat aspect of this is that they say it can be used on smile lines! Price: $65 for 0.5 ounces Rating 4/5
