Genetic under Eye bags? What’s best!
If you’re like me, I’ve had puffy under eye area my whole life. In fact, there’s a hideous second grade photo of me that I’m sure sparked my insecurities. I have tried many products some help reduce the appearance of my under eye bags and some do absolutely NADA! Here are my top favorite products to decrease the appearance of my genetic eye puffiness. 1. belif - Eye Bomb Gwp In all my time searching. This has been the best find for me personally. When I use this cream I can definitely see that my eye puffiness went down. 2. ORIGINS - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff This is my second favorite. I only put this second because I later learned that when paired with the Belif Eye Bomb, it’s perfect. This eye cream definitely brightens so you do not need much at all and keeps your under eye area brightened and lifted all day. 3. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG My most recent discovery. This under eye solution does visibly depuff my under eye area. The consistency is not my favorite, I like thicker under eye creams. But I can say that it does make my eye area look more awakened. I read that this product takes awhile so...tbc I really hope this post helps someone like me with genetic under eye puffiness. Or atleast gives them some hope that there is a product or combination of products that helps them feel better about this unique issue.

My skincare (normal to oily sensitive skin)
My current routine! I have ups & downs & some I want to improve but this is what it’s currently at! Not pictured: TATCHA - Calming Foaming Enzyme Powder Absolutely love! Was going back & forth between this version & the one for oily skin but this one is juuuuuust right for my picky skin!! Pictured: (in order of use) TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener Omg-it’s a game changer! This stuff may just look like fancy water (lol who am I kidding-I use evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray so yeah-THATS fancy water but I love it! lol) but this stuff is 100% the real deal! I’ve noticed that products glide one & I don’t have as much of the shiny effect after putting on my skincare routine! Yay! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum Ok so warning on this one-you’ll never use a full pump unless you share with 2 other people at the same time-this pump is stupid-I hate it but the product so far has done a good job & hasn’t made me run to go find a new one right away-could it be improved...? Yeah-but it’s a good option for me for now 😊 also-I don’t like using this by itself cuz it’s drying... so for a fix to that I added.... DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream One again-you don’t need a full pump unless you’re sharing-no one has that much surface area to cover with this...ugh. This is the step that was missing when I just was using the firming serum-this is hydrating & goes after because it’s thicker. The combo works for me. Would I rather have 1 product? Yes. Would I rather have a better pump that doesn’t portion out share sizes of product? Yes.... am I rushing to Sephora to find a new one? Ha! No.... Curology - Curology formula My 2 cents on those people who hate this? It’s not for you & that’s ok! But dang does this work for me!! It’s a must have!! Love it!! -or- never and DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I haven’t used this enough to rate but this is supposedly suppose to help with dark spots & pores? We shall see tester size...we shall see... TATCHA - The Water Cream Omg moisture heaven! Smells like a spa, glides on like a dream AND has gold in it? Sign me up! This stuff is amazing-I love it & it does wonders for me! Add ons! TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK Not in love-good for dry spots or singular areas every once in a while but meh-not worth it & not a fave of mine. TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Also-not in love. Is it nice when I’m dried out? Yeah! Does it last? Nooooot really? Meh-I have it I’ll use it & I won’t buy again... TATCHA - Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++ Meh-this is just....meh. Again will use it up & not rebuy....

The Trunk 4.0🎪🐘
🎪DRUNK ELEPHANT - The Trunk 4.0 This kit comes fully stocked with everything you need for a truly complete skincare routine & a swift getaway! 🛩☁️ I wouldn’t travel right now, even if you paid me. Covid numbers aren’t going down & I take these facts very seriously. Haven’t had contact with almost anyone since March, because I do have a neurological disease that could put me at risk. I can’t tell anyone what to do... but do I urge you to consciously protect strangers while protecting yourself & your loved ones. My condition is one often referred to as an “Invisible Illness”. Many people have health conditions that others don’t outrightly see. Most people think I’m completely able-bodied unless I’m seen limping or having convulsions. I’ve only had this condition since 2014, so it’s been an adjustment & learning experience for my own prejudgements as well. 🧳My bf really likes the Monos locking suitcase & encouraged me to purchase this while the big Sephora sale was going on. He has to travel for his essential-work sometimes & this is a perfect carry-on size! It’s just as wide & deep as the ‘Monos Carry-On’ ($293) & only 4” shorter. specs: 18” high x 14” wide x 9” deep. Monos describes their Carry-On as: Designed to comply with the size restrictions of as many airlines as possible, & fits in the overhead bin of nearly any flight. So I think this slightly shorter rolling suitcase would 99% likely be accepted as a carry-on. 💚Really impressed with the quality! Its lightweight but well structured, great features/compartments + an antibacterial laundry bag. I’m totally new to Drunk Elephant, but I wanted to try their L-Ascorbic Acid serum, Glycolic Acid serum & the Babyfacial🍼🐘 I also want to start using a gentle retinol. Those 4 products alone would have been $324! With my Rouge discount: $360! Regular price is $450- You get 10 full size products, 3 minis +5 sample packets. 18 different things to try! ➖Which would you like me to review first?➖ 🐘I want to trial everything before I review! Here’s everything w/sizes & individual cost: #Drunk Elephant - Beste no.9 Jelly Cleanser[products]#$32/5 oz DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. BEST AVOCADO EYE TREATMENT
I have written about this product before, a while ago but it deserves another round. The texture is just amazing. I took a picture of the texture on slide 3. I have been using it for about 7 months now and it’s truly amazing. It instantly brightness my under eyes! It’s so moisturizing that I even use it on my laugh lines. I have tried A TON of eye creams but nothing compares to this one so far. If you have tried many eye creams but haven’t fallen in love yet, here is your new boo ❤️❤️ Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado WHAT IS IT? A hydrating eye cream that is clinically demonstrated to de-puff and brighten after just one use. Formulated with Avocado oil, Beta-Carotene, and Shea butter, this eye cream immediately improves the look and feel of under eye texture and dry fine lines through all day. Also helps eyes affected by digital eye fatigue caused by the daily usage of personal devices. HOW TO USE? -Take half a pea-sized amount of Avocado Eye Cream on your ring finger -Gently tap the hydrating eye cream around the eye area and along the orbital bone with your fingertip -Avoid pulling the ski KEY INGREDIENTS 🔑 -AVOCADO OIL Avocado Oil has a rich, emollient texture and contains a balance of lipids including omega essential fatty acids. -BETA-CAROTENE Beta-Carotene is a naturally-derived antioxidant predominantly found in many orange and red vegetables such as carrots. It is used in Vitamin A production and can give an orange tint when used in skincare products. -SHEA BUTTER Shea Butter is the natural fat obtained from the fruit of the African Karate tree and is widely used in lotions and cleansing products. Shea Butter is known to help defend dehydration, restore suppleness and improve the appearance of dry skin.

December challenge PT 1
Sorry I'm catching up on this one, I posted it a few days ago and it disappeared 🙁 so I'm redoing it now 😁 Here's my fave products broken down: Day 11 - SPF: I only have one face sunscreen, sun bum - Original 'Face 50' SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion but I'm looking into getting the Supergoop! - The Jet Set SPF Kitbc it includes an Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 401 oz and a Supergoop! - Play Everyday Lotion SPF 50 With Sunflower Extract1 oz - pretty good deal and only $28 (Sephora) Day 12 - moisturizer: it's a tie between Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream and Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream for me; I love them both so much and swear by both. Day 13 & 14 - face oil and mask: to be honest, I don't have a favorite of either, since I don't really use face oils/never really looked into them, and most masks cause an allergic reaction or redness of some sort. Every mask I've used has bothered me by making me all red and causing some mild acne, but one hasn't done anything bad, and its the Glossier. - Moisturizing Moon Mask . It's not my favorite product but I give it credit for not causing any rxns, plus 4/5 stars bc it did moisturize pretty well. Day 15 - eye product: I like my Glossier. - Bubblewrap Eye + Lip Plumping Cream and Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado(haven't used the Kiehl's one enough to rate) Day 16 - lip product: I love the L'ORÉAL - Colour Riche Lipcolour and have a bunch of them. I recently got a ARMANI beauty - Lip Maestro Midi Set (it's called mini set, there's a typo I guess) and these Armani lippies stay in place no matter what and are very pigmented too. Days 17-20 in my part 2 post! (most recent)

CURIOUS ABOUT THE INKEY LIST?
i have been a huge fan of the inkey list for years; their products are affordable, cruelty-free & predominantly vegan, and they only use necessary ingredients! here are a few products of theirs that i am currently using (plus some honourable mentions that i have previously used): 💫THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner 💫 this 10% glycolic acid toner works wonders with no irritation or excessive dryness. previously, i used the pixi glow tonic to-go pads which is only 5% but the transition has been very peaceful! it helps to shrink and unclog pores as well as reduce fine lines. i use it every other night! 💫THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser 💫 this baby is a miracle-worker for acne. after years of using brands with harsh ingredients such as clean&clear and oxy, this cleanser is a breath of fresh air. it is gentle while quickly clearing up any severe breakouts i have. no tightness of the skin here! 💫NEW!! THE inkey LIST - Succinic Acid Acne Treatment 💫 as soon as i saw that the inkey list had a new pimple fighting product out, i sprinted to order it! this product contains 1% salicylic acid, 2% sulfur powder, and 2% succinic acid, a compound naturally found in the body to help control oil levels and unclog pores while also shrinking blemishes. while it is still new to me, i have found that it has shrunk my pimples as well as reduce the redness and pressure in them!! honourable mentions: 💫THE inkey LIST - Vitamin C Serum 30ml 💫 i used this when i was first getting into having a proper skincare routine. it had this incredible natural smell of what i can only describe as maple and it did truly help to even and brighten my complexion. i will say that it did not agree with broken or super sensitive skin! 💫THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream 💫 i used this product more for puffiness and waking up my tired eyes rather than dark circles and i must say i enjoyed it! immediately after application, my eyes felt super alert and it even made ME feel more awake! i would definitely reconsider purchasing it after i am done my present eye cream. and that’s all folks!! i hope you enjoyed ;) please be sure to follow here and on my IG @chloebrk.mua #cheriecreator

new products ! 🍌
with the new year comes new products and here are three i’ll be testing out soon! i just wanted to give you all a small introduction to the three before i make separate posts on them later on ~ first we have the OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crèmewhich contains vitamin c & is collagen-boosted as well as inspired by banana powder (used by makeup artists) what is claims: - brightens - targets aging - reduces the look of dark circles - improves concealer application and wear good for: - fine lines & wrinkles - dryness - dark circles secondly there is the OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum also by olehenriksen what is claims: - brightens - instantly firms - plumps skin with hydration - reduces the appearance of dark spots, pores, and wrinkles to put it short, “a powerful age-defying serum” lastly we have the OWA HAIRCARE - Moondust Collection Unscented: Hair Washby owahaircare~ i’m most excited to try this one out because of the reviews i’ve seen online about this product. it’s also the first powder hair wash i’ve ever seen/used. though it is a powder, it’s not to be taken lightly as it claims to do better than your average shampoo. what it claims: - adds volume - adds moisture can’t wait to try these 3 products, thank you @cherie ! <3

Help!
I have been trying to figure out the best way to take control of my skincare routine. My main concern is the texture of my skin, redness, blackheads on my nose, & large pores on my cheeks. I believe I have combination skin. It can’t often get oily or dry. I’d like any advice having to do with Cerave or The Ordinary. I currently am cleansing my face each morning & night with CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I like this cleanser, but am wondering if I should try out some other Cerave facial cleansers for my skin. In the morning I use CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 In the evening I moisturize with CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion Occasionally, I use the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution but I don’t think I have used it consistently enough & often enough to tell a difference. I’ve read that this is good for blackheads on your nose & to use it two nights a week. I have also used The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque but haven’t used it enough to notice a difference. I’d like to look into trying a few more products to help rejuvenate my skin & give my skin care routine a “facelift” 😉 Any advice or opinions would be wonderful. Thank you! Products I’d like to try include: CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum I would like to introduce a retinol into my routine. CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream I often get dry under eyes, eye lids, & puffiness. The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA I read this was good for textured skin & blackheads. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Thank you in advance! ✨

My Top 5 Skincare Products of 2020!
2020 was quite the year. From Covid to wildfires, there were many difficulties. But, a good thing to come from the past year was growth in the skincare community! Being at home gave us lots of time to focus on ourselves and discover things that interest us. I have always loved skincare but quarantine gave me the opportunity to focus on my skin in a way I would have never been able to do otherwise. These are my favorite skincare products that I discovered this year! 1️⃣peach slices - Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner I purchased this product in early December. I usually like to use a product for a while before I decide how I feel about it and definitely before I recommend it, but this product is special. I’ve been using it for a short amount of time but I absolutely love it! I have dry, acne prone skin and this is ideal for my specific needs. It is super hydrating but it also helps treat and prevent acne. 2️⃣FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser This is a very basic cleanser but that is why I love it! It is very gentle and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use this alone on days when I’m not wearing makeup or as a second step in a double cleansing routine. This is great for any skin type but if you have dry or sensitive this is especially good for you. 3️⃣BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream I purchased a trial size of this product because there is no way I could justify spending more than $50 on a product that is less than an ounce. Because of the price I don’t think I will be repurchasing this, but that being said, I love this product! I struggle with sensitive under eyes that flake and peel when irritated. This eye cream hydrates the sensitive skin around my eyes without making them sting! If you are able to purchase this product I really do recommend it. 4️⃣The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution As with pretty much everyone else, I found this product through TikTok. I’m a little late to the game though. I only recently started using this product but I can see a difference in my skin. I have milia on my forehead that makes my skin look textured and this helps! After using this product my skin feels soooo smooth. This product is very easy to misuse so make sure you are using it correctly and err on the side of caution. 5️⃣GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm This is the first cleansing balm I have ever used that I love. It feels so smooth on the face and easily removes all my makeup. I recommend it for anyone who is looking to double cleanse. Glow Recipe claims it can be used alone but I advise against that as it is hard to completely remove if you don’t follow it with a water based cleanser. If you have any skincare discoveries from 2020 let me know in the comments! I’d love to know what products you’re bringing with you into the new year.

for my skin the best
I never took good care of myself and I started doing it about a month ago this is my night routine I love everything I use I feel my skin is cleaner and smoother, I love the peach slices tonic, it leaves me a very beautiful glow on my skin. Aveeno cream is the best for my skin along with retinol so that it doesn't irritate me, the truth is that I love these products! My skin is mixed with a tendency to break out pimples and this has not caused me any of that! SKINCEUTICALS - Retinol 0.5 Retinol Night Cream The first weeks I irritated my skin I felt super sensitive, everything burned, but over time my skin got used to it and it has helped me a lot with my spots. Aveeno - Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer When my skin is irritated by retinol, I found this beauty cream, I love it, it calms me, it refreshes me and it leaves my skin feeling rich.

Healed in under 1 week! How I prevented scarring
🐺So I have a 9 month old Siberian Husky, he’s got way too much energy for me sometimes. He totally booped me in the eye with his teeth & basically bit my eyelid. I was honestly so f***ing worried, eye skin is so sensitive & my skin scar easily, even from bruising. So how did I get this back to normal in 6 days? First things first... Regularly applying (yup, multiple times a day) SUNSCREEN will help prevent hyperpigmentation. ☀️When you get a cut or bruise, even a baby one, your skin barrier has been compromised. Even the healthiest skin barrier will not protect you from UV rays whatsoever & any new skin growing after an abrasion is extremely susceptible to UV damage, regardless of your skin tone! I’m super pale, but even with skin that doesn’t burn easily, newly generated skin tissue will become darker if you don’t use an SPF to protect it. I included a pic of a scratch I got from my dog several months ago, where I totally didn’t protect it from the sun. I can be lazy about body sunscreen & this proved to me that almost any broken skin will scar if it gets sun. I used: KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 But honestly any sunscreen you like with a decent SPF is key for scar prevention. Reapply & reapply! I love this formula because it’s so moisturizing! Full review in a previous post. Keeping your skin hydrated & moisturized is super important too, you want to give your skin nourishment while it heals. Which brings me to the second most important thing. 🐌A repair serum: Beauty of Joseon - Repair Serum : Ginseng+Snail Mucin I have fully fallen in love with Snail Mucin after this serum! Because Snail Mucin is a stress-induced excretion, it's comprised of ingredients meant to repair or protect from injury. These include growth factors, which work by triggering the growth of new skin cells & new collagen. This particular serum is really affordable-$17. It contains over 3% Snail Mucin & it’s over 63% Ginseng extract, also amazing for skin repair & evening tone. Allantoin is another component in the secretion; healing properties, calms irritation & stimulates cell regeneration Also fragrance/alcohol free! Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum Limited Edition This is also packed with Ginseng & other reparative botanical extracts. This really helps me retain moisture in my skin, I use it 2x a day & have noticed generally brighter & clearer skin in the last few months. You use this after cleansing or toning, before other serums. TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream After a couple days I added this. ETUDE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream Great for sensitive skin & has vitamin E. I alternated between this &: TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream Also used this: Beauty of Joseon - Glow Serum : Propolis+Niacinamide Almost 60% Propolis + 2% Niacinamide

My skin has been liking me lately😊
Been using these three products for a month and for 43 year old skin I must say they do not disappoint. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% takes away little bumps and patch’s of redness. Helps prevent acne. The Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalane GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer oil free doesn’t case acne and it feels great in my skin.Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser I love this face wash doesn’t cause breakouts and leaves skin so soft and clean. I haven’t found a face wash this great in awhile. TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream

I’m HOOKED! Mango & Green Tea Firming Eye Mask
I’m HOOKED! Mango & Green Tea Firming Eye Mask
Now , I was never into eye creams because I felt they didn’t work. I recieved this Herbal Dynamics Beauty - MANGO & GREEN TEA FIRMING EYE MASK in a beauty subscription box (I forgot which ones 😆) and Ive been using it off and on for some months and I love it. Every time I used this product I was amazed at how soft my under eye area felt, the tingle afterward, non irritating, and my under eyes looked a lot brighter. This product reduces the appearance of dark circles with green tea and caffeine as apple and mango extracts calm and soothe puffiness. Nourishing mango butter and phospholipids hydrate. ✅PROS✅ 🎀The texture is smooth and very hydrating. When applied it has a tingle and you can feel it working. 🎀This is applied , left on for 3 minutes and then removed. I like that this is a quick treatment that can be done in the morning. 🎀I didn’t have any irritation with using this near the eye area which is important. 🎀I prefer eye mask over creams because I feel like over time you will see better results. 🎀Inexpensive this is only $20 currently it’s on sale for $15 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼 as of June 7 2020 and they have a 20%off) I PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 🎀A little goes a long way ! This will last you some time. 🎀Smells delicious a light mango scent. 🎀Green Tea is great for the eye area , it helps with dark circles. 🎀 Not Tested on animals, Paraben Free, Phthalate Free NO CONS 🤷🏼‍♀️ If you are looking for an eye treatment/ mask I highly suggest giving Herbal Dynamic Beauty a try and they have other eye treatments. Moisture Surge Eye Serum 96-Hour Hydro-Filler
The product: Claims to lock in moisture for 96 hours for crease plumping hydration and visibility tighten and brighten the under eyes. My thoughts: I love the feel of this product, the gel is cooling and refreshing to apply. I used the serum every morning for 7 days and it definitely helped with my morning puffiness. Price: I got this as part of my Sephora play box. A full size (15ml) bottle retails for $34. Recommend: definitely! I’ve used the original Clinique facial Moisture Surge for 2 years and I will definitely be purchasing the full size Eye Concentrate and adding it to my daily routine. Also it’s time to get a new facial Moisture Surge! Can’t recommend it enough for people with dry skin.

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Serum
The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Serum
This is The Inkey List’s Caffeine eye serum! It’s meant to be worn either under an existing eye cream or used on its own. It’s meant to make you look awake (even if you’re not!). It is a smooth serum texture and is not cold. It’s white but smooths out to a clear application. A little goes A LONG way. I really love it! I use it everyday, both at night and in the morning. It makes me look awake and takes away some pigmentation. In addition, it’s one of the most effective and cheapest eye serums I’ve ever used. I liked it because, in addition to what mentioned above, I don’t have to use a lot. My eye area gets very dry and this is very hydrating. I would recommend the product to someone else because it’s cheap and effective. The product is SO worth it and the fact that it’s at Sephora makes it so much more accessible! The Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado is described as being a creamy, moisturizing eye treatment to serum that moisturizes the under eyes with avocado oil. This eye treatment is designed specifically for people with dry skin, since it is super creamy. ⭐️ This eye treatment is a staple in my routine. I’ve used it for about a full year now and I don’t plan on switching to another one anytime soon. I take the tiniest amount and gently pat it in with my ring fingers for the most luxurious, moisturized effect I’ve ever experienced with an eye serum. I typically have flaky skin around my eyes and this really smooths it out. I would highly recomend this to anyone with dry skin looking for a really good eye treatment. Also, don’t bother buying the big size, the smaller size is a way better deal and I still haven’t used all of it yet.

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Serum
The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Serum
I must admit that I was super skeptical about any kind of eye cream, I thought it was overhyped. I was only certain I wanted to try something from the Inkey List because of their low price point and wanted to see if it compared to The Ordinary or The Good Molecules, to my surprise, it performed just as well! - I do also admit that while I don’t use this eye cream absolutely every morning and night like suggested, I do see quick benefits when I apply it on my no makeup days. I love prepping my skin in the morning an quickly tapping a small amount of this cream to depuff my under eyes in less that 2 mins. It makes me look well rested, even if that’s far from the truth. I can say that i have to be careful when tapping this around the contour of my eye because can start to sting if too close to my water line. - I would love to recommend this to anyone who is looking to depuff and energize their eye, quickly. I wish I was more consistent so that I can speak more towards the longer term benefits. At only $9.99 on Sephora you can’t beat it! It’s a great low budget purchase. I’ve purchased one for my mom who has been bugging me about her bags looking like laundry bags 😭

VERSED - THE FIX Emergency Eye Mask I was looking for an eye cream to replace my old eye cream (HONEST - Depuff Eye Gel ) and found this product. This cream is very hydrating and gentle, and absorbs into the skin very quickly! This product has caffeine and cucumber juice. I found this at Target for $17.99.
