Overkill?
New here! So I recently started my skin care journey. I’m 32, 15 weeks postpartum and nursing, dealing with some fine line and wrinkles, melasma, and overall uneven texture. Got some recommendations from friends and this is the regimen I’ve been sticking to the last 3 months. I have noticed improved texture, improved melasma. Fine lines and wrinkles and large pores are still a work in progress. Open to any and all advice that is nursing friendly ☺️

Dry/Dehydrated Skin Routine
Sometimes when I use too many clay masks or skip my skincare routine a few times (hey, life happens) my skin can get super dehydrated. In those instances, I like to use a simple, but effective routine to infuse hydration into my skin. This can be used at any time, and I do it whenever I need to (if my skin is super dry, I’ll even do this a few days in a row). Step 1 – Cleanse fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash I always start with a cleanser, and the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is my favorite. It is very gentle, and effective. It has a light cucumber scent, which doesn’t bother me at all, I quite like it. I find that when my skin is dry, it tends to overproduce oils, so I like to cleanse it well, but I also want to make sure my cleanser isn’t stripping my skin. Step 2 – Hydrating Mist YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha I have a lot of face mists that I filter between, but this YTTP Adaptogen Mist is my current favorite/go-to. This one is very hydrating and soothing and gives an extra layer of hydration before I go in for my hydrating mask. Because hydrating masks usually form an occlusive later over your skin, using a mist before will give an extra boost of hydration. Step 3 – Hydrating/Soothing Mask BIODERMA - Sensibio Mask If my skin is feeling both stressed and dehydrated, I like to go for this Bioderma Mask as it is so soothing and also makes my skin feel plump. This has a super simple formulation that is fragrance free with very hydrating ingredients, so it always does the trick for my skin!

Remove Your Eye Makeup Without Removing All Your Eyelashes Too
Use these products to take off your waterproof makeup without any issue. If you’re someone who wears waterproof makeup, you know how hard it can be to take the products off without ripping off a layer of your skin or hair while you’re at it. I’ve lost a great deal of eyelashes simply because a makeup remover promises to work on waterproof products but doesn’t. Then, I found these three products that take off the makeup and a layer of stress on top of the process too.   During my years of wearing makeup, if there’s something I’ve learned, it’s that sometimes, you really can’t cheap out on some products. While the Estee Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover isn’t the least expensive remover on the market, it’s the best I’ve ever used. It doesn’t leave my eyes feeling oily, and it doesn’t burn them either.   If you’re wearing a lot of makeup, I suggest using the Cleansing Spa Water wipes from Koh Gen Do before you head in with a serum remover. One of these can do the heavy lifting before you go in with a fine-tooth comb.   Lastly, Farmacy’s Very Cherry Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Bomb is a staple product. It’s very effective yet gentle on all skin types, and with my combination skin, it doesn’t give me any issues. It takes waterproof makeup off in seconds without any tugging, which is a real winner in my book. With these products, there’s no longer a need to dread taking off your makeup after the end of a long day or night out. You can use them all at once or just a single product at a time. Regardless, your skin will come out looking brand new.

Very Cherry 🍒
This is the Limited Edition Very Cherry Cleansing Balm from Farmacy! I picked it up before the mall closed down a few months back, mostly because of the delicious smell. 🤤 I’ve never used a cleansing balm before, but my good friend glowwitherin swears by this one. To remove your makeup, all you have to do is scoop out a generous amount, rub it into your skin to melt away your makeup, then rinse it off! I’m my line of work, I’m not allowed to wear makeup in the cleanroom, so makeup is saved for days off or special occasions. I haven’t used this balm yet, but once I do, I’d love to make another post about it! 🙂🍒

baby’s first skincare routine
taking advantage of quarantine to finally put together a grown-up skincare routine! i have oily skin and recurring acne, so i’m still trying to figure out how to curb breakouts. anybody else like these products? or have any other recommendations? 💕 • CLEANSER • CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser this just feels good to put on. silky smooth, clean, refreshing. GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover i only use this when i’ve been wearing makeup, which hasn’t been much lately, but it does the trick. it’s also good for when i feel like double cleansing at night. • TONER • THAYERS - Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Facial Toner love this for helping minimize my pores. sometimes i swab it on mid-day if my skin is feeling extra oily. • ACNE TREATMENT • Neutrogena - On-the-Spot, Acne Treatment i’ve been using this for a million years and it’s great for getting acne to disappear as quickly as possible. just an awesome little spot treatment. Clearasil - Rapid Rescue Deep Treatment Wash this is a nighttime acne wash and it seems to work pretty well. it does have an intense chemical smell, which isn’t my favorite. • MOISTURIZER • Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer 50ml i love this stuff. my roommate thinks it’s an alien serum since it’s so pretty and blue. putting this on at night just makes my skin feel so hydrated and fancy. plus, it’s super light, which is a godsend for oily skin. Neutrogena - Facial Moisturizer i put this on in the morning because i know i need some spf, but it still leaves me feeling oily even though there’s no oil in it! still hunting for an spf moisturizer that doesn’t smell so sunscreen-y and feel heavy in my skin.

Extra Skincare Routine - Got the time, add these
I know everyone has their skincare routine but these are some additional items I occasionally incorporate into either my AM or PM routine! If you follow me you know that I have oily combination skin and wear makeup pretty much everyday. I need to make sure my skin is clean, bright, and ready to start or end the day. In the morning, I’ll will sometimes apply the SUNDAY RILEY - Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream to my under eye area to ensure it’s bright and ready for the day. In the morning I would apply this after my Vaseline and before my moisturizer! This is a pretty expensive item at $65.00, so I only recommend if you can squeeze it into your budget. Since I wear makeup pretty much everyday I need to make sure my under eye area is good to go! The second and third item are exclusively for when I have more time or wore more makeup than usual during my PM routine. The GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover is for when I wear waterproof mascara and or eyeliner and I need to be gentle since I don’t want to be rough on this part of my face. This item has been in collection for years and have bought so many replacements. It’s also perfect for removing all makeup if you don’t have a cleaning balm. Finally, I use bliss - What A Melon Replenishing Watermelon Toner after wiping my face with the cleaning balm + wipe. It’s great to truly get into the skin and make sure the pores are clean and ready for a moisturizer. Overall, an under eye product, micellar water, and a toner have been in my evening routine but these specific items have been in my routine for the last two months. Before this I was using a different toner and eye product. These some honorable mentions that I use and wanted to make sure they received their spotlight moment! For someone like me that deals with oily combo skin, it’s great to double cleanse and ensure that all the makeup is removed at the end of the day. ✨✨✨

Current Routine
CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum *I just started this product and haven’t formed an opinion yet - worried about it overly drying my face - [edit] I’ve been using this product for a week and there has been no drying. The stubborn pimples that wouldn’t got away went away quickly. Should be used at night, followed by a sunscreen in the morning. Cetaphil - Moisturizing Lotion * I wish it was a little thicker. I pair it with Aloe Vera for extra moisture. CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 Face Lotion with Zinc Oxide *not my favorite, hope to try something else when I use it up. Lots of white cast and oily. CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin * I (hopefully) am almost done purging from this product. This is normal with this because of the ingredients in it- I just need to be patient. I use twice a day because of the environment my skin is in (work at a pizzeria and have lots of stress). GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover *apparently there’s fragrance in this which isn’t good, but it gets my makeup off and the grease from work- does it’s job PAULA'S CHOICE - SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA LIQUID EXFOLIANT *had to give this a second go because I didn’t realize that purging is natural because of the ingredients in it. Liking my experience so far. I rotate this with a retinol every other night. Both at the same time was too much and my skin reacted. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% *I introduced this product at the same time as others and my skin freaked out, took a step back and now it works great. Noticing a difference in my hyperpigmentation. I use this in the AM routine. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution *loved this product at first - made my skin super soft - but now I’m not sure what it’s doing. ONLY USE FOR TEN MINUTES AND NO MORE THAN EVERY OTHER DAY AT NIGHT. Fruit of the Earth - Aloe Vera 100% Gel *Just a basic, cheap aloe vera to help with moisture and soothe inflammation. #Good Neighbor Pharmacy - Calamine Lotion Suspension USP[products]# *I leave this on while I sleep, feel like it helps keep in the other products I use. Helps regulate oiliness. Can be found at your local drug store.

Old versus newbie cleansing oils!
🎁The Boscia makeup breakup cool cleansing oil was the first one out of the two I bought and it helps clear the look of skin-clogging impurities and makeup without leaving an oily residue! It really helps with pores and dryness. The texture of this is a nice lightweight oil that gets all of my makeup off! I absolutely love using this at night and I got it about 10 months ago in a set from Boscia! It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and I saw good results in my pores after using it. I would certainly recommend this to others that love to use cleaning oils to remove makeup, it really gets the job done! It is worth the $32 for 5oz which is alot of product! 🎁The tatcha pure one step camellia oil cleanser is the one I got after the Boscia and is used to completely take of your makeup before you use your actual cleanser! This will completely take of any makeup, full face or just if your wearing a little bit. It completely takes off any eye liner and mascara as well as any waterproof makeup leaving your skin so silky and soft. This is not harsh at all on any type of skin, it is good for all skin types even sensitive skin! I first tried this last December because I had received the tatcha bestsellers set for Christmas with four minis and I absolutely feel in love with the cleansing oil. It can be a solution for dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, and dullness as well as uneven texture! The texture of this is a very rich oil that really moisturizes your skin. I overall really love this product and I will always be repurchasing, it’s definitely my go to makeup remover that I’ve ever tried! It has never let me down and always gets all my makeup off, and does everything that I would want a makeup remover to do. I have been using this for about a year so I have used this tons of times before giving this review! It was definitely hydrating enough and didn’t break me out at all! I saw great results from using this instead of other makeup removers that would make my skin red and were just to harsh when taking off my makeup. I would 100% recommend this to others because it completely takes off makeup and is so easy to use! And is great for every type of skin and has amazing ingredients in it! The full size of this is $48 for 5.1 oz of product which is so worth it because you only need a little bit to get all of your makeup off so it will last you forever! I really hope this review helps someone out if you’re deciding to get this or not I definitely recommend! 🎁I bought the tatcha cleansing oil over the Boscia because I noticed that this one did a better job of removing my makeup! And it removed more advanced makeup like eyeliner and foundation! The Boscia was only good for natural and not a lot of full face makeup! It only removed the basics, where the tatcha removed everything! I also noticed that it cleanses my face more intensely then the Boscia, it removed more dirt off my face! The texture of the Boscia and tatcha were very similar they were both very liquidity! The Boscia one was a little more thin, but the tatcha one felt like a heavier oil! The smell was very similar to, very clean and fresh! But I think I would have to say that the tatcha was more effective to my standards! boscia - MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser

Double Cleansing Favorites!
Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my double cleansing process and a little about why I love them (and where they can improve)! First, I just want to start off and say I don’t double cleanse in the morning! Only for my nighttime routine. Even if I don’t wear any make up, because I like to make sure that all my sunscreen comes off! I start off with the DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil with a “dirty” dry face and rub my face with it from anywhere one minute to ten minutes. I watch a YouTube video and unwind by giving myself a facial massage. Obviously I don’t do this everyday. Some days I’m too lazy and just leave it at the 60 second mark. But I highly recommend giving yourself a calming massage to promote blood circulation around your face and prepare it for the serums that you’d like to add later on. PRO’s 🔹Olive Fruit Oil leaves the skin super moisturized and nourished! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR DRY SKIN! 🔹Vitamin E! 🔹Relatively short ingredient list that helps reduce the risk of mixing ingredients and having a bad reaction. 🔹Makes your skin feel silky smooth CON’s 🔸Rosemary oil is unnecessary and can be bad for sensitive skin. 🔸Olive oil can be harsh for oily skin I use water to make sure the oil is off my face. It turns white when it reacts to water because it uses Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate which is a self-emulsifying surfactant that makes it easier to wash off with water. Then, I go in with my THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser I use this one for no more than 60 seconds to make sure all the oil is off my face and my skin is clean (without that squeaky clean feeling)! PRO’s 🔹Polysorbate 20 helps water and oil mix and including this product alongside DHC makes sure that all the oil is off your face. 🔹It has White Willow Bark Extract, which is a natural form of salicylic acid. Meaning that it’s an ultra gentle exfoliation that’s great for acne/blemishes. 🔹Some tea tree oil that acts an an anti-inflammatory. Great for the mornings for a little boost to depuff the face. 🔹Glycerin is a GOAT in skincare and helps to moisturize the skin while cleansing. 🔹Tamanu oil that has regenerative properties on the skin 🔹It has a PH adjuster ingredient that means you can skip a toner and save money! 🔹Vitamin E! 🔹The tea tree oil it uses is community traded. Which means that it helps the direct economy of local farmers and is against slave trade which is very prominent in the skin care and make up industry. CON’s 🔸It has THREE perfuming ingredients that can be sensitizing for some skins. But, since it’s a wash off treatment it’s not too bad. 🔸Menthol can be very soothing, but not good for sensitive skin. Another amazing cleanser I like to pair with the DHC oil is the HOLI FROG - Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash Amazing ingredient list. A bit more expensive, but worth it.

Pick your Gentle Makeup Removers
DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil This was my first cleansing oil, and it works great. It removes makeup better than any other method, has a small ingredient list, and feels/smells great. Went through 2 bottles of this already. Slightly thick, easily spreadable and removes all of my makeup (except for a bit of waterproof mascara if i don't wipe properly).  It has a fairly simple list of ingredients but does contain some chemicals which is why I have moved on to more natural, organic brands. My skin is not overtly dried out or greasy after washing it off. The pump bottle is perfect, the product comes out cleanly; 1-2 pumps is plenty to remove my makeup and sunscreen on my whole face and neck. I try to gentle massage it on, the oil turns milky on contact with water. I would then hold some of it over my eyelids to break up my mascara without losing any eyelashes. Sometimes if I am cleansing in the shower then I just let it rinse off. Another thing I love about this remover is the bottle design - Simple but super functional and sturdy. No leakage and just enough product comes out with each pump to clean a full face of makeup. It is so easy to use, and rinses clean every time.  BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O This is a very good remover. This is actually recommended by in a facial salon. It is recommended by the doctor. I find that it is very gentle. I don't get any burning, stinging or irritation. It removes makeup well, and doesn't leave an oily residue behind. It is excellent for removing makeup - in particular eye makeup. I have sensitive combination skin and I have to be careful that products don't irritate my skin, or worse. This remover doesn't sting or irritate my skin or eyes. I've always had one bottle of this on my bathroom counter whether or not I'm using it regularly. Never drying or irritating, no weird scents. A little goes a long way and these are often paired in a two pack for the price of one. You get a decent sized bottle for the price, and I think it is a good value in drugstores or even Costco. It is suitable for daily use both AM / PM. My skin looks better ever since I started using this (about a week ago). Highly recommend to everyone.

Bioderma Sensibio H20 - Makeup Remover
What is micellar water and why should you use it? Micellar water can remove an entire face of makeup without leaving oil behind and doesn’t contain alcoholic like most toners, which can dry out your face. The idea is that micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so they are able to draw out impurities without drying out the skin. Therefore, micellar water can be used as a facial wash, makeup remover and moisturizer. The BIODERMA Sensibio H2O micellar water is hands down the best. I prefer this to the Garnier. I’ll use this to take off all of my makeup and then follow up with a cleanser. Note, if you wear a waterproof mascara or a very thick foundation, you’ll probably need a heavier makeup remover.

Dark Spot/hyperpigment skin care routine- NIGHT
I’ve covered my day-time melasma skin routine here: https://t.cherie.com/7GsdHP/ and this is my night time routine after a day of being out and about: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser Very gentle cleanser. You really have to get those circular movements in on your face to get every corner because I think it is a little too gentle...but non-stripping. BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O Micellar water: set it into a cotton pad and wipe away. The perfect addition for removing anything left behind from the step prior. Sometimes the La Roche-Posay doesn’t get rid of all the makeup on my makeup-heavy days and this digs right it. I like this one because it’s for sensitive skin and soothes as well. However, it doesn’t remove my water-proof mascara so I use-Neutrogena - Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Ultra Eye Cream for Dry Skin Ultra-soothing! It’s a gel-cream rather than a thick lotion. It hydrates so well with a lightweight touch to it. Definitely recommend. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 These next two products are specifically for my skin problems. I use one product one night and the other product the next night...never together. Words of caution: they left my skin pretty red for a few weeks but apparently, this is usual. Also, once I startd applying these, my Derm stressed the importance of sunblock even more and how reapplying is just as important. Advaita - Leneda Gel This is a silky sort of translucent thick “gel” if that makes any sense...very similar to the bare mineral primer texture. It was prescribed for pores on my my nose + surrounding areas but I am not sure if it had anything to do with clearing hyperpigmentation from the skin. OBAGI CLINICAL - Nu-Derm Blend Fx This is probably the harshest one of them all with Hydroquinine being its active ingredient (apparently it’s the gold standard for melasma treatment). It’s just a light cream and I apply it on my forehead, nose, + surrounding areas since my hyperpigmentation is concentrated there. I was told me not to apply it on my upper lips. It never irritated me nor did it cause itching but the next day, the areas where I applied it were red. Kinda looked like a sunburn. ...i wash my night products off the next morning and get on to my morning skin care routine. Ive been doing my morning and night skin routine for a total of 3 months but I have seen improvements in my skin. I’ve also made sure to constantly reapply sunblock (elta md SKINCARE - UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 ) and wear a hat when I go out. I’ve always been a ☀️ sun lover ☀️ but never wore sunblock up until 2 years ago. I think a mixture of that w genetics and other things have spiked up the melanin in my cells and enlarged those pores. Now, I’m extra careful when I’m out and going throughout the day.

This Expensive Cleansing Balm Is Not Worth It
ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm This Elemis product is quite expensive. The price is $64 on Dermstore. And, you’re most likely wondering.....Is it really worth the price point? Many people who have bought this product said this gave them a luxury feel and a spa scent when applied to their skin. They also said it made their skin feel hydrated and even improved their acne. ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Luckily, I have recieved this product in a sample size that I got in a subscription box. I did take a look into this product before trying it and thought to myself hmm maybe I could change my mind about it since it is just a cleanser. But, it turned out to be bad as I thought. I will just like to say this: many luxury skincare products are just not worth it and this is one of the many, to be honest. So, here are my findings > There is a ton of fragrance, which has been proven many times to be very unnecessary in skincare. Not to mention, the smell is obnoxious. They claimed on their website that it leaves the skin feeling smooth and deeply cleansed from the essential oils they formulated inside. 🚫 It’s not just one essential oil used but 9 essential oils with additional fragrance! Essential oils aren’t an extremely bad thing, but there are certain factors that can make these oils harmful. Unless you know the formulator and manufacturer of Elemis, you might never know how they handle essential oils. Moreover, this is very irritating to the skin. They also claimed this can be used on all skin types, and I am here to tell you that this is false. Maybe with skin types that don’t have sensitivity yet. But those who do, will find this product irritating. If you currently have breakouts, this will definitely make them obvious or possibly worsen them. Not luxurious at all. NOT good for oily skin or have oilness. I have oily to normal combination skin. Sometimes my skin is a bit dry or dehydrated during the cooler months of the year. I do not see how this can be hydrating to the skin if it’s super irritating to those who have sensitive skin or even normal skin in general! In conclusion, do not waste your money on this luxury product. It is not hydrating. Nor, is it beneficial to the skin. Perhaps, the only good thing about this product is the feel of the cleansing balm. Otherwise, it’s useless to those who are looking for a non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic cleanser.

Skincare products for allergy-prone skin-Round 2
FANCL Mild Cleansing Oil This is a unique smooth cleansing oil which helps to gently clean clogged pores. I think it's better than the Shu Uemura cleansing oil which causes breakouts. It's smooth, spreads easily, emulsifies quickly, and removes foundation well. However, an eyes and lip makeup remover is recommended for eye and lip makeup. HACCI Cleansing Milk This mild honey-based cleansing milk contains more than 85% beauty serum ingredients, including royal jelly extract, milk and olive oil, leaving skin feeling nourished and moisturized. It has a soft and mellow texture which feels like applying a moisturizing lotion, and it feels delightful on the skin. It's gentle and not irritable to the skin. It cleanses really well, replenishes skin texture, and energizes tired skin. ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm This is a British spa skincare brand. Although it's a niche brand, this product is really amazing. Physical sunscreen needs to be removed or else pores will become clogged and oxidized, forming sticky and hard keratotic pores, enlarging the pores. Besides, sensitive skin is fragile, so I always choose the gentlest cleansing oils.

The Best Eye Makeup Remover
The Best Eye Makeup Remover
[Review] Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover This is my all time favourite eye makeup remover especially for waterproof eyeliner and mascara. It effortlessly removes the most stubborn waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I pour a generous amount of product onto a cotton round, place it on my eye for 3 to 5 seconds and with one swipe it will remove 90% of my eye makeup. There is no fragrance and feels very gentle. It did not irritate or cause any stinging sensation. The consistency is quite watery and does not leave behind any residue or, oil film. Taking price and effectiveness into consideration, l much prefer this over the super popular Lancôme Bi Facil 😊

Bifesta cleansing sheet: The sheet is large, thin, not oily and doesn't make my face particularly dry after using it. I could easily remove the lipstick color swatches on my forearm using it. Waterproof eyeliner can also be wiped off with ease. I will not repurchase this product. Like it but just not that useful. 😐 Kissme speedy mascara remover KISSME - Heroine Make Speedy Mascara Remover: The space between the brush bristles is a little too wide for me, so it gets into my eyes easily. But this depends on the density of your eyelashes, so it'll be a different experience for everyone.🤔 I will not repurchase this product.  Nursery cleansing balm :Nursery - Yuzu Oil Cleansing Balm By Nursery for Unisex This is already my third bottle and I still like it a lot. After the gel emulsifies, it is very refreshing, and it removes makeup and even waterproof eyeliners pretty well. My skin doesn't feel dry or filmy after it's washed off, and it's quite worth the price. I will definitely repurchase this product. 👍

BOBBI BROWN - Soothing Cleansing Oil It is strong enough to remove makeup on the entire face fast and thoroughly. My Kiss Me waterproof eyeliner and mascara can be removed completely after rubbing for just five seconds. 👍🏻👍🏻 It has a light and thin texture with a runny consistency. My face feels refreshed after washing it off with water, with no tightness or oil film sensation. The base oil is made out of jojoba oil, olive oil, and non-mineral oil, which will not cause acne. 😘😘 Bobbi Brown also has a bottle of eye and lip makeup remover called BOBBI BROWN - Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover. I was using this one before I started using the soothing oil. This water-oil makeup remover is best used on eyes and lips only, otherwise it will leave an oil film on your face that's hard to wash off. It removes eye makeup very well and I like the design of the bottle opening as you can easily dip a cotton swab in it. Now that I have the soothing oil, I think I'd not repurchase this one. But if you want to remove your eye and lip makeup separately, I'd still recommend this bottle. 💖💖

It removes makeup fast and doesn't irritate my skin. I've already repurchased it many times and will continue to buy it for sure! Bioderma Sensibio H2O BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O: This is also a product that I've repurchased several times. It's very mild and was recommended to me by a dermatologist when I had an acne flare. It's strong enough for me, but it is only suitable for removing your foundation as it can't remove waterproof eyeliners and mascaras. EVE LOM cleanser EVE LOM - EVE LOM Cleanser: The hot and cold cloth application recommended by the official website feels great on the skin but it's also tedious. Even though the official website said that it should be applied like an ordinary makeup remover, it feels a bit wasteful. It contains mineral oil in it, so for people with certain skin types, be careful that it may cause acne. It does a pretty good at removing makeup. Waterproof eyeliners and mascaras can also be removed after it's emulsified with water. However, lipstick is not as easy to remove.

Eco-Friendly Makeup Remover
For the last two years, I have ditched using traditional makeup remover wipes and began using Face Halo makeup remover pads. These have not only been a game changer in my makeup removal routine, but have also saved me quite a bit of money too! Face Halo consists of HaloTech fibers that are 100x finer than human hair to not only remove makeup in a gentle, effective way, but to also grip the makeup particles rather than smearing it around on your face. All you need is water and you are able to remove even the most long lasting, powerful makeup. This is a very easy, effortless, fool proof method where there is no mess involved. Each pad is reusable up to 200 times - that is saving you approximately 500 makeup remover wipes! For $22, you get a pack of 3 makeup remover pads; that is 600 uses & saves you from using 1,500 makeup remover wipes! Think of all the money you’ll be saving & can put towards purchasing more of your favorite makeup; AND you’ll be helping our planet out at the same time! For waterproof makeup or times where I want to thoroughly clean my skin, I will add a bit of my favorite cleanser to get my skin squeaky clean without my skin feeling stripped. Say goodbye to wipes, tugging, rubbing and pulling on your skin, and say hello to Face Halo!
