✨ Battle of the Eye Makeup Removers ✨
I typically wear makeup everyday and remove it with a cleansing balm, but got both of these free as gift with purchases so decided to give them a try! I thought I’d compare to see if they’re worth it to splurge or save. . CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips Key Ingredients: Fragrance-free . Scent: None . Consistency/Texture: Oily Liquid . Price: $9.50 for 1.7 fl oz OR $19.50 for 4.2 fl oz . Experience: It takes off the majority of my eye makeup, except for the ones that I typically have a difficult time removing. It does take a little bit more product and effort to fully remove eyeliner and mascara, but it works better doing this as a first step to remove my eye makeup and then using my cleansing balm to remove the oily residue and other eye makeup it couldn’t get off. It leaves behind an oily residue, but it easily washes away when you use your second cleanse. It doesn’t sting too badly when I get it in my eyes or cause a film on my eyes. . Repurchase/Recommend: I would if it was on sale, but I’d run through this too fast to justify purchasing the full size. They also aren’t cruelty free, which is something I support. . NYX - Eye & Lip Makeup Remover Key Ingredients: Infused with orange, papaya, rice, and soy extracts . Scent: None . Consistency/Texture: Oily Liquid . Price: $8 for 2.8 fl oz . Experience: This is the easiest eye makeup remover I’ve ever used. It easily lifts away eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. I do have somewhat of an issue with some mascaras that are hard to remove in the first place (that I need to cleanse again with soap whenever I use a cleansing balm by itself). I love using this before my cleansing balm to effortlessly remove mascara so I don’t get the typical hassle of trying to rub the cleansing balm into my eyes. This doesn’t sting my eyes whenever some accidentally gets in. I put this on my reusable cotton pads and let it sit on my eyelid/lashes for 30ish seconds to a minute to loosen the products and then gently swipe away. It does take a good amount of product, but I don’t mind since it’s so budget-friendly. . Repurchase/Recommend: Yes, it’s so cheap and NYX has sales or gift with purchases often. The brand is also cruelty free! It’s the best eye makeup remover I’ve tried. I will definitely purchase! . Overall: I definitely see myself purchasing the NYX remover again because it works the same, if not better, than the Clinique one!

Clinique Take the Day Off
*Please excuse the 🦩 through the photos, especially in the last photo 😅* This is a product for removing makeup, in which I really love to use The one in the bottle is obviously a liquid remover, but to ‘activate’ it, just shake it and place it on a cotton ball and you are good to go :) For the smaller jar, just take a little in your fingertips and apply as if you are washing your face with a cleanser and just rinse it off afterwards If needed, I am always here to answer questions 💕

NEW IN: my skin care ritual just got fancy
ULTA had ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Perfect Partners on sale and I just had to guys. I love Elemis products and have been dying to try these two products. I love cleansing balms. They are the best thing to remove waterproof makeup without stinging and irritating your eyes. Yes, micellar water works as well but I usually use it after to make sure everything is off . This cleansing balm is so luxurious and oh my word the smell is absolutely divine. The balm is based with rose and mimosa waxes and are infused with elderberry, starflower and optimega oils and supercharged with anti-aging algae, padina pavonica— a Mediterranean algae with proven outstanding anti-aging benefits. Some of my favorites are: CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (works well but they test on animals) BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original Then I met you - Living Cleansing Balm After cleansing, I follow up with my new favorite retinol alternative ingredient, Baluchiol in ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum . I use this twice a day before moisturizing for that extra bit of moisture and protection from free radicals. I have to be honest, I have not tried the cream. I’m sure it is divine but I’m currently half way through two creams and it seemed wasteful to open this one... and I wouldn’t really be giving it a good test run if I’m still using the others right!? I will update in a later post. What other cleansing balm should I try? Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful **Elemis, Banila Co, Then I met you are all 🐰cruelty free.

Current faves! ❤️
Here's my current faves for January that are makeup and skincare products: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover - I'm so surprised at how well makeup comes off using this! It's amazing and I didn't have an allergic reaction to it (typically makeup removers cause me to break out or make my face red, hot and blotchy) L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara in 201 black - I've been loving this mascara lately because it doesn't clump like crazy, it lengthens my lashes really well, and is so inexpensive!! HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Duo - I've used the original ones twice on some pretty big pimples and just a few hours later they were ready to pop! Also, I wore them during the day and tbh they aren't really that noticeable, maybe it's because of my skin tone & how the color of the patches is similar. They also stay on pretty well and really do the trick. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in fig - I absolutely love this flavor and it's definitely the one I reach for the most. I've heard mixed reviews about it, and as someone who hasn't even tried a fig, I now want to try one. (the flavor probably isn't the exact same but that's ok) MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect in 102 tantric - this is my favorite bronzer ever and it's such a great value, because you get so much product. It's buildable, smooth, and smells so good!! NOTE: if you tap this item, it'll say that it's $65, which it's not! It's on sale for $34 at Sephora ($49 originally) DIOR - BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundation in 1 cool rosy - I love this foundation and I've been reaching for it lately because of how smooth and buildable it is. ARMANI beauty - Luminous Silk Foundation in 3.75 - great coverage, super smooth, and really easy to blend out. One thing I do find when I use this foundation is that I need 2 pumps in order to get it to cover my whole face. It's not something super concerning, but I find some foundations go farther and I don't mind using 2 pumps tbh.

Dry Winter Skin (& tips when using retinol)
It is important to take good care of your skin in the winter. The cold air is harsh on the skin and can cause dehydration, dryness, and irritation. For those who use retinol (such as prescription tretinoin), these issues are always a concern and in the winter it is extra important to be mindful of how your skin is reacting. When you use a strong retinol your skin is automatically considered dry and sensitive due to the nature of the active ingredient. Whether you are using retinol or just struggling with dry winter skin, here are some tips to help you manage: ❄️Use a Gentle Cleanser❄️ Stay away from stripping cleansers as your skin’s moisture barrier is already compromised in the cold weather. Also, when removing makeup/double cleansing, stay away from makeup wipes because they are harsh on the skin and instead use a micellar water or cleansing balm. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser is my recommendation for a gentle cleanser. It works for all skin types. GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm is a fantastic makeup removing balm that hydrates the skin and is a perfect first step in a double cleansing routine. ❄️Add Hydrating Ingredients❄️ Try using products that contain humectants or other hydrating ingredients such as glycerin or hyaluronic acid. This will help your skin avoid irritation from the cold. You can incorporate this through any step of your routine, but I recommend hydrating serums and masks. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer can be used as a light moisturizer for those with oily skin, but I recommend using it as a hydrating serum under a thicker moisturizer. When my skin is feeling especially sensitive I mix it with my retinol to dilute the retinol and make it more tolerable for my skin. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask is a hydrating masking option if that is what you prefer. ❄️Switch to a Different Moisturizer❄️ Make sure you have a thicker moisturizer when the weather changes to help protect your skin. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA and ETUDE - Soon Jung, 2x Barrier Intensive Cream are good moisturizer options for the winter. ❄️Consider Occlusives❄️ Some people like to add an occlusive layer over their moisturizer to further protect from the winter air and to lock in the hydrating ingredients underneath. You could use something as simple as Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original or even an oil such as The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane to add an occlusive layer. ❄️Don’t Forget Lip Care❄️ Use a balm such as BURT’S BEES - Nourishing Mango Butter Lip Balm Tube to fight chapped lips! If you have any recommendations for dry winter skin please let me know in the comments!

Completely erase your deep wrinkles with this
I have struggled with harsh lines since my 20’s. The furrow line in my forehead is so pronounced I didn’t believe there was a skincare solution. I’ve switched my nighttime and daytime routine around three times since I started Cherie because of the knowledge I’ve gained from Cherie members and board certified dermatologist Dr.Dray. Here is what I do; Morning Routine 💙I rinse my face with water - DO NOT CLEANSE (I have an article on my page as to why you should not cleanse in the morning please check it out) 💜 AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) this product makes your skin smooth and brighten and it actually preps the skin to allow better absorption of the next product 💛Vitamin C serum is applied, vitamin c helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines 💚hyaluronic acid it plumps my skin up 🧡neutrogena hydro boost with spf 50. This is a water gel lotion with hyaluronic acid 🤍I finish with Avene moisturizing protecting lotion, this lotion I swear by it. It doesn’t claim to reduce fine lines but as soon as I put it on all my forehead wrinkles smooth right out. ➡️sometimes I add Vaseline to the sensitive areas of my face if I’m staying home the under eye where crows feet are and the furrow in my forehead. Doing this protects the skin barrier because it locks in the moisture from your products and slows down their absorption rate which means you benefit more from them. Nighttime routine 💛oil based cleanser. Oil based cleansers break up makeup, sunscreen and sebum more efficiently than regular gel cleansers 💙gel based cleanser next, it completely cleans the face from any left over oil cleanser ♥️ toner maybe twice - three times a week but not everyday as it’s winter the air is dry, toner can be even more drying 💚Retinoid serum comes next, but the face should be dry. 🧡Niacinamide to reduce the appearance of pores and fine line. 💜Vitamin E at the end of the day helps your skin barrier restore itself from the pollutants and uva and uvb exposure 🤎moisturizer is second to last on my routine, 💖last but not least in fact one of the most important things is SLUGGING! petroleum jelly is smeared on my face focused on the underlines where crows feet show, the furrow on my forehead - I don’t do my neck. I explained up above why this benefits you. ❇️so after 1 month of doing this my wrinkles have erased and my pores look great❇️ Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum TruSkin - Vitamin C Serum Fourth Ray - Hyaluronic Hydra Duo Skincare Kit Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 Avene moisturizing cream DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Neutrogena - Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil Fourth Ray - Remedy 10% Niacinamide Serum Vitamin E from TrueSkin Avene moisturizing cream Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original

Overall not bad and does what you want
DHC oil is a good first (aka oil based) cleanser that will definitely take on spf to your more heavier make up looks. I give it three stars because this is my first oil based cleanser once finding out more about skin care and am unsure how it stacks up compared to other brands. I recommend this more for dry skin since it does feel a bit more hydrating and I could imagine it being a bit heavy for oily skin. Sadly, it is not fragrance free. DHC oil does contain Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil. Since it is a wash off treatment, it should be ok for your skin, however if you already have sensitive skin and/or allergic to fragrance, I would refrain. It is my personal beleif that fragrance and essental oils don't have a place in good skin care so I'll empty this guy out and look for another brand ❤️

Post-Halloween Skincare Tips 🎃
🎃With Halloween coming, I wanted to share some of my favorite make-up removing products and skin savers! I have sensitive combo skin that is highly acne prone, especially when it comes to makeup. 🌙 Very Cherry Clean Cleansing Balm $34 for 3.4 oz Cleansing balms are one of my favorite discoveries since starting my skincare journey. They are amazing at removing make-up, dirt, SPF and oils from the skin in a gentle way. My favorite is currently Very Cherry Clean by Farmacy which does the job and also has Vitamin C in it for brightening. You’ll want to follow this with a regular water-based cleanser but this is a great start when you’re done with your Halloween look for the night because it will melt it all off. When you begin to rinse, it turns into a milky texture and then when fully rinsed, it does not leave any residue. It also has a nice light cherry scent! 🌙 Oil-Free Eye Make-up Remover by Neutrogena $7.10 for 5.5 oz Although I use cleansing balms which of course do remove make-up, I always lean on this to get rid of any excess around my eyes. It is gentle and I’ve been using it for probably 15 years. This can be used on your face if needed. I’ve seen it do damage to a full face of face paint in college, although I would recommend using the cleansing balm FIRST, gently massaging it around and then going in with this if needed for any heavy eye looks that are being stubborn. This is my go to and I will always repurchase. 🌙 Healing Ointment by CeraVe $12 for 5oz When I’ve done something to my face like a full day of heavy heavy make-up and I know it’s going to be mad, I love using this as a nighttime moisturizer. This has Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramides so it’s packed with hydration. This has never made me break out and is truly an all around skin saver. I use this on my face, lips and any dry spots on my body. I feel like my skin is always happier the next morning with this product. I’ve purchased this for multiple people and will repurchase for myself over and over again. FARMACY - Very Cherry Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm Neutrogena - Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover CeraVe - Healing Ointment #CheriePartner

Farmacy Faves 💚🍃
My first #farmacyfridays showcasing a few favorites of mine from the brand - & because I am super excited for their Honey Halo moisturizer that is coming soon! Right now Farmacy is running a 25% off site-wide sale if you use code: STOCKUP. This is the perfect time to “stockup” on all of your Farmacy faves! 💚 I really love their cleansing balms - 𝒢𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝒞𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓃 & 𝒱𝑒𝓇𝓎 𝒞𝒽𝑒𝓇𝓇𝓎. Their cleansing balm is probably their bestseller & what really put the brand on the map! It effortlessly removes makeup, sunscreen & debris. These cleansers don’t irritate my eyes or cause any burning sensation, but I do find my vision to be a tad bit blurry if it does get in my eyes - but nothing intolerable. They are definitely on my top three favorite cleansing balm list! 🍃 𝒟𝒶𝒾𝓁𝓎 𝒢𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓃𝓈 is an excellent daytime moisturizer - it is oil free so it is perfect for those with oily / combo skin types. It has a gel like texture and sinks into the skin beautifully. 🍃 𝐻𝑜𝓃𝑒𝓎 𝒫𝑜𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃 has quickly become a favorite mask of mine - I honestly don’t know what took me so long to try it, but I am so glad I received it in a Boxycharm a few months back! This will be perfect for fall & winter as it gives a gentle warming sensation; leaving the skin hydrated & supple thanks to all of the antioxidants in the formula. 🍯 Let me know down below what your Farmacy Faves are! 💚 FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask FARMACY - Very Cherry Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

My go to for the last 3 months
Okay so I can’t really say 3mos as this is only my week 2 of this routine!!!! MORNING‼️ I wash with Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser so far it’s been okay, I guess u get what u pay for but with that being said my skin is soooooooo sensitive that literally before finding Cherie would mostly just wash my face with a rag and 💦 ❤️I then go back in with GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water okay so I love this stuff, it don’t make my face feel nasty, I literally use a cotton pad and just wipe away what my first cleanser didn’t get!!!! ❤️I also take my Apostrophe - Spironolactone I’m supposed to take this daily but due to health issues I only take this every other day just to maintain my potassium levels, I’ve only been on this for 2wks and I have noticed a BIG CHANGE in my skin🙌🏽 ❤️I then top it off with Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion it definitely drenches your face with moisture BUT it makes me oily🚱 NIGHTIME ROUTINE‼️ ❤️I follow all the same steps above but I add in my Apostrophe - Topical Formula So far I’m in love with this, I’m already seeing changes in my skin and some of my scarring, I would definitely recommend this product/company🗣🗣🗣If u can’t afford to see a dermatologist or your insurance doesn’t cover it, this process is pretty cool, u literally do everything over the computer💻 or your phone📲your dermatologist will make up a regimen and it’s sent to u via mail🙌🏽With COVID in our lives this was a game changer❤️ Of course after my topical I once again moisturize my skin with Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion

This Months Empties !! Dec 2020
The GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water is so much better over the original, it’s a lot less drying and sensitizing. great for dry & sensitive skin. I wish the bottles actually came in a bigger size because I feel like I go through these so quickly 😭 I like to shake my micellar water before squeezing onto a cotton pad, it actually gets a little more soapy and saves you more product that way. In all, I like this product and makes taking off makeup much easier without adding any sensitivity to my skin. Would buy again. PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil Face did brighten and make my skin look more radiant, gently removed makeup, and helped get up some surface level plugs!! I wish this was thicker or more viscous so that it could further penetrate the skin and draw out more impurities. Though I do like this product and it does what the label says it does, I would prefer to buy a thicker oil cleanser. I really like a lot of Clinique’s Moisturizers, but I usually don’t want to pay full price, so i really like going for the minis that this brand has available. TheCLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ is usually my go to under makeup, on cold days or on the go. it has really helped with barrier repair & is dry combo & sensitive skin friendly!!🧖🏾‍♀️ it slips on easy, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy or oily feeling. no parabens, sulfates, denatured alcohol or fragrance. 🌱Will definitely stock up on some more soon 🧴

So Do All Cleansing Balms Suck?
Cause this one sure did. I wear very waterproof mascara L'ORÉAL - Unlimited Length and Lift Waterproof Mascara which I have found to be better than any high end brand. So, I really need to work hard to get my face actually clean. I've been double cleansing with oil cleanser for many years. I use BURT’S BEES - Cleansing Oil with Coconut & Argan Oils and it actually does a great job I'm just not really a coconut oil fan. So when I saw all the hype about cleansing Balms I knew I had to try. All this talk of it dissolving your makeup sounded amazing and I was so sold. k beauty is my fav and this Zero cleansing Balm seemed like an easy and popular choice. But unfortunately it does not get my makeup off, it also gave me super cloudy eyes. Like super cloudy, it literally blinds me when I use it. I find even after using a bamboo wipe to try to get the extra off, it's not dissolved enough to get it to glide off. I wonder if I'm not using it right, because it's that bad.

Battle of the Cleansing Balms
Battle of the cleansing balms! ✨ I’ve been testing both the ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm and the #Juno Skin - Clean 10 Cleansing Balm[products]#[FiveStars] for the past few months. One is pricey, one affordable. Which reigns supreme? Well to start I really enjoy them both. They both have a yellow color with a citrus scent. The texture of the Elemis is extremely emollient and oily, almost a little goopy but does a really nice job at taking off makeup and not stripping my skin or leaving a film behind. The Juno Skin is a thicker to start but really sheers out and becomes super slippy on the skin (reminds me of the green clean texture). It takes off makeup super easily and glides around just a little easier than the Elemis. Also the Juno Skin has only 10 ingredients! The Elemis has many more than 10. Even though I enjoy them both, the Elemis is $64 for 3.7 oz, and the Juno Skin is just $14.50 for 3oz! Juno Skin definitely wins this one! 👏🏼 *both products gifted to me but opinions are honest and my own

My first retinol - Tretinoin routine
As part of the @cherie and Apostrophe Save My Skin, I got a consult and month of treatment from Apostrophe. My main skin concerns are beginning signs of aging and some dark spots/age spots (hyperpigmentation) that are beginning to appear. A couple of the dark areas on my face are quite pronounced. The Apostrophe process was super simple. Created my account online, answered some questions about my skin concerns, and uploaded some photos of my face and areas of concern, and chose my Dr. All of my information was reviewed by a Dermatologist who suggested a treatment plan to meet my goals. Less than 2 weeks later I had a box at my doorstep! The box from Apostrophe - Topical Formula included my prescription, a sheet detailing my treatment plan, a postcard, and some stickers. Cute. I was prescribed Tretinoin 0.025% + Niacinamide 4%. I’ve been using Niacinamide for about 2 months now, but this is my first prescription retinol experience. I was directed to apply every other night for 2 weeks, if no irritation, move to every night. In order to lessen the chance of irritation I was also directed to use a light moisturizer before and after, use sunscreen daily, avoid eye and mouth area, discontinue use of any acids, and use a moisturizing cleanser as well as a Vitamin C serum each morning. My retinol / Trentinoin daily routine Evening: If I have makeup on I cleanse using BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing or ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm which I also use as a mask of my skin is super irritated. Apply pea size amount of Tretonin + Niacinamide cream over face and half that amount to neck Moisturize with THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer Apply BITE - Agave+ Nightime Duo to lips, generic castor oil to brows with a spoolie, and PETER THOMAS ROTH - Lashes to Die for Turbo Nighttime Eyelash Treatment lash serum to my lashes Morning: Cleanse using BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing or ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Apply SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum all over face and neck Use The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG under eyes Then rose hip oil on areas that feel especially dry or are peel Since it’s only been a couple weeks I will probably end up refining this routine, I’ve noticed dryness mostly around my mouth and nostrils. Highly recommend the Apostrophe process so far! 💙

Some of my faves to stay hydrated in the cold
*I have oilskin that isn’t particularly sensitive* Derma-E Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Serum A super hydrating serum that works great for sensitive skin and can be used day and night. It helps reduce redness and is chock full of Omegas. I use in the morning and night after applying the next product which is... Hanskin Skin Essence Safe for sensitive skin. a K-Beauty essence which is a product I’ve experienced with this year to replace or enhance the use of a toner. I’m oily and so this doesn’t work well as a toner but it’s great to apply after cleansing + toning to add moisture into your skin. It’s super light and you literally only need to drop the bottle in your palm one time and dab directly on your face. After applying this I follow up with a serum as mentioned, then an oil and moisturizer. Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cleansing oil This is also safe for sensitive skin and the first cleansing oil I’ve tried. I’ve had this for almost a year. After first I was mainly using it before applying a face mask but as the weather gets colder, I’ll be using this once a day before applying a standard cleanser (double cleansing as the kids say) Fresh Sugar Lip Polish I got this from Sephora when I was eyeing Fenty Beauty’s lip scrub but the sales girl redirected me (sorry Rih Rih!). Lip exfoliation is something I should’ve gotten into sooner. Especially with the amount of 🌬🌲 I do. I love this scrub though, it’s made with sugar and super moisturizing. You really don’t have to apply a lip mask after scrubbing on your lips and rinsing it off but I do which brings me to... Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Baybeeee when I tell you my lips have never felt butterier?!? This right here is something your lips will thank you for. Best used before bed or as a prep before applying lipstick (which I learned from the queen, Tracee Ellis Ross) Lastly, and certainly not least Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream This is one of the most slept on skin care gems. This ultra moisturizing cream is made of olive oil, beeswax, honey propolis and Royal jelly 🍯 🐝 and guess what? I bought it for less than $10 at Walmart! The ingredient properties include antioxidants so it’s great for acne prone skin. I use this as my post-face mask moisturizer or in between serum and moisturizer application in the morning to give my skin an extra layer of hydration to protect against the elements outside. There is a version of this cream made by Taui that is less thick that I prefer (this will make you look greasy at first, Taui does not) when I’m getting ready to go out but where am I going right now? No where! DERMA•E - Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Serum Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence boscia - MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil fresh - Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask EGYPTIAN MAGIC - Healing cream

BAG FULL OF GOODIES
wanted to share my quick thoughts on some new products i have recently tried/incorporated into my routine! ⭐️ @theouai rose hair & body oil: we love a multi-functional product!!! this smells so fresh and is perfect for the ends of my hair for an extra boost of hydration. also makes me skin so soft! ⭐️ @boscia cleansing oil*: such a clean scent! i use about 2-3 pumps of this at night & easily removes all my makeup & spf. it’s hydrating and doesn’t leave any type of film behind! ⭐️ @soleilsolace shimmering rose infused body oil*: this is a dream! it gives the perfect amount of hydration & shimmer!!! it blends effortlessly & leaves me so glowy. ⁉️ @cocokind tumeric tonic: i really enjoy tumeric in products, but still am unsure about this one. i have used this in my AM & PM routine, but didn’t really see any noticeable difference on breakouts. it is also a rollerball, which I am not a huge fan of. i am going to continue to test it out! ⭐️ @byroe_official better green essence toner*: really enjoy the idea of an essence + toner! i never really used an essence in my routine because I didn’t think it was necessary, but this is so hydrating! i use it my PM routine after cleansing and I find that it really preps my skin for my serums & moisturizer! ⁉️ @habitskin spf 41 mister*: absolutely LOVE the idea of a spf mister... it’s genius tbh. it sprays on pretty evenly and light, however it does makes me look a bit oily. I think it’s perfect for pool days & days where I am wearing minimal makeup, but not sure that I would use daily. ⭐️ @cocokind texture smoothing cream: light weight moisturizers are my go-to for combo skin & this is perfect! i mostly use this in my PM routine as a last step & it really does a nice job of locking everything in. ⭐️ @farmacybeauty daily greens moisturizer*: this is another great lightweight gel moisturizer! while i enjoy using it in my AM routine, I think I still like honey drop more. I like using this on no makeup days. it keeps me looking matte and fresh!

Same Brand, Different Makeup Removers, BIG diff
Same Brand, Different Makeup Removers, BIG diff
Towelettes or a makeup removing cleanser? Everyone has their preferences as to which they prefer. We all know and love elf for making incredible products at an affordable price (thank god, it’s like they were made for college students), and recently I got two of their makeup removers. The difference between these two is HUGE! Let’s dive in e.l.f. - Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths I got these for $3 which is cheaper than what I would get for a back of Walmart brand cloths. However, if I were to get makeup remover wipes, I’d stick with the Walmart brand or Neutrogena. This is definitely not elf’s best product. The towelettes are barely damp and almost feel dry. Even when you dampen them a little bit more with water, they still don’t feel right. The especially bad thing was I felt like I was really pressing my skin when removing makeup with these. Definitely not very healthy for anyone’s skin. Please, don’t waste your money on these. If you’re gonna buy makeup removing wipes, get Neutrogena or whatever store brand of where you’re shopping. e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm Alright I got this in their holy hydration! skincare mini kit (full size of this product is $10) and I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS! A little balm goes a long way. You simply just take a little balm and spread it into your skin where makeup starts coming off. The instructions tell you to moisten your fingers after and keep massaging them into the skin after, before rinsing. My word, this balm does wonders. My makeup easily came off once I started to rinse the balm off, and not only that, the balm cleanses your skin while removing makeup. My skin felt so nice and smooth right after using it, but it is also because the balm is really beneficial for your skin as it contains hylaronic acid, ceramides, and peptides. It works to keep your skin moisturized and healthy looking! Plus, it’s beneficial for all skin types. I’m definitely gonna get the full sized product. So if you’re deciding which elf makeup removal product to try and buy, please go with the holy hydration balm. You will not regret it!

The makeup eraser is marketed as a natural makeup remover that is eco friendly and reusable. It is targeted to remove all dirt and makeup after your day is over with one cloth. It is a gentle towel that has fibers that grip your makeup and wipe it away. It is softer than a regular face towel and when water hits it it almost beads up. I have been using my makeup eraser for over a year and just bought a new one because they were having great deals. It is $20 regularly for the full size which is a great value. You can throw the makeup eraser in the wash with your other towels and it comes out ready to use again. I love having this with me because it makes traveling and on the go makeup removing so easy. It’s versatile and can be used multiple times before needing a wash. I would give this product 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to everyone. Plus it makes a great stocking stuffer for the holidays coming up! MakeUp Eraser - The Original Makeup Remover Cloth

BEST Makeup Removers I Have Ever Used!
BEST Makeup Removers I Have Ever Used!
I have used a lot of makeup removers, from liquid to cream, but nothing compares with the following three in my mind. So today I want to recommend them to you. These are all the products that I will keep reperchasing! Chanel Eye and Lip Makeup Remover CHANEL - DÉMAQUILLANT YEUX INTENSE Gentle Bi-Phase Eye Makeup Remover: This is the best eye and lip remover I've ever used. It removes makeup fast and doesn't irritate my skin. I've already repurchased it many times and will continue to buy it for sure! Bioderma Sensibio H2O BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O: This is also a product that I've repurchased several times. It's very mild and was recommended to me by a dermatologist when I had an acne flare. It's strong enough for me, but it is only suitable for removing your foundation as it can't remove waterproof eyeliners and mascaras. EVE LOM cleanser EVE LOM - EVE LOM Cleanser: The hot and cold cloth application recommended by the official website feels great on the skin but it's also tedious. Even though the official website said that it should be applied like an ordinary makeup remover, it feels a bit wasteful. It contains mineral oil in it, so for people with certain skin types, be careful that it may cause acne. It does a pretty good at removing makeup. Waterproof eyeliners and mascaras can also be removed after it's emulsified with water. However, lipstick is not as easy to remove.

Clinique has always had a spot in my makeup bag - in particular, CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips . Allergy tested. 100% fragrance free. Denatured alcohol free. It dissolves and removes long-wearing and waterproof makeup, works especially well for waterproof mascaras too! It gently removes lids, lashes and lips make up without leaving the skin feeling greasy and doesn’t cause skin irritation. This is my second bottle over the past two years and I absolutely love this product and haven’t found a better makeup remover yet. Give this eye makeup remover a chance and you won’t regret it!

Amazing Eye/Lip/Face Makeup Remover!
Amazing Eye/Lip/Face Makeup Remover!
The Banila Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm is my very favorite way to remove my eye/lip/face makeup. It is a 3-in-1 balm that transforms from a balm to an oil as you massage on your face & is meant to remove every single trace of your makeup (even waterproof mascara!) This formula is meant for any skin type - it’s hypoallergenic and made without parabens, sulfates or phalates. They describe the texture as sherbet like and I would completely agree - you can sort of see from my photo but it’s also nearly empty because I can’t stop using it! Overall, I’m really pleased with this cleansing balm for two reasons - first of all, it takes off ALL of my makeup. There is never an ounce of eyeliner, mascara or liquid lipstick left on my face when I use this. Second, it doesn’t irritate my eyes at all and I have really dry and sensitive eyes. Because of that I have tried so many cleaning balms only to give them up because they make my eyes red, watery or even worse ... my vision blurry. Not this baby! It also leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped or dry which is another complaint of other balms I’ve tried. It’s also super affordable - $19 at Ulta and with daily use this has lasted me over 3 months (you really don’t need much). I would definitely recommend this balm if you are interested...plus they offer 3 other formulations (purifying, nourishing, revitalizing) BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original
