✨Retinol Glow✨ PM Routine
This is my ultra moisturizing 💧 retinol night routine. All the results of a gentle retinol PLUS a super hydrating sleep mask glow. ✨ PAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster I’m a total fangirl for Paula’s Choice and love 99% of their products. This one just doesn’t give me enough results to repurchase. Any HA serum suggestions? 🙋🏼♀️ Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream I’m in love with this perfect moisturizer. It’s perfect for any skin type and gives my skin a balanced moisturized feeling plus a noticeable bounce and firmness with every use. A dream for combo skin. Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado this is a thick luscious eye cream with a slight green tint that helps with my dark circles! It absorbs nicely, doesn’t creep into my eyes and reallyyyy helps with the fine lines around my eyes. It has the same plumping, bounce factor as the face cream. A staple for am and Pm routines. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Mask I really love this mask but if you have oily or acne-prone skin, proceed with caution. I would say it’s worth a try because the results are great. Since I have combo skin and a long history of breakouts, I only use this once a week and it won’t break me out. It’s got a rich, buttery texture that melts into a cream, which is why it’s too rich for daily use for me. But when i use it weekly, I wake up with skin so glowy and plump and hydrated, and it almost has this blurring effect on my pores. Which I love because I normally have misbehaving pores. Bottom line: it’s the dreamiest retinol treatment I’ve used, and it’s a perfect retinol choice for dry skin. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping MaskI’m trying this for the first time tonight! I’ll update you with my results! In the future I want to add a ceramide product to this routine to really boost the skin barrier effects and glow factor. ❓Any suggestions you love?!
the truth about retinol
retinol is often used in anti-aging products, claiming to help you keep your youth. but is that true? what is retinol a type of retinoid derived from vitamin A, helping move along new cell growth. benefits - fades the appearance of dark spots - minimizes the look of fine lines and wrinkles - smoothed uneven skin texture - removes dead skin cells - tightens pores common side effects one common side effect is slight redness and dryness, which can decrease as you and your skin get used to the product. false retinol myths - you must start with a large amount - results will come immediately - drug store products with retinol don’t work - irritated skin as an effect is normal - it can only help with fine lines and wrinkles in conclusion, i do believe retinol can help many people’s skin! it is a great product when looking for good pore products. when wanting retinol products i recommend the glow recipe avocado melt eye sleeping mask and the glow recipe avocado melt sleeping mask! Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask
LANEIGE - Eye Sleeping Mask What it is: a leave-on overnight eye mask What it does: hydrated and depuffs while you sleep Cost: $44 CAD for 25ml/0.8oz Texture: kind of like a lightweight serum My experience: I fell in love with this eye mask instantly. The texture is kind of like a lightweight serum and it goes on a bit watery and then becomes slightly sticky after it hits your skin. The applicator made it really easy to apply though and it was quite relaxing to roll it around and massage my eye area before bed. I always wake up with my eye area feeling more refreshed and hydrated when I massage the product in than simply using their eye gel alone. The product always nicely absorbs into my skin. I keep the mask and the applicator in the fridge like I do with my eye gel so that when you begin gently massaging the product in, you can depuff and cool your skin at the same time. 🤩 Would I recommend: yes! It’s a great depuffing and hydrating sleeping mask that helps keep your delicate eye area refreshed and moisturized while you get your beauty sleep. Would definitely recommend checking this out if your eye area needs that extra oomph of hydration and care. Is it worth it: yes, I think it’s worth it! You don’t need to use a ton of product so this lasts you a while. I also think that the applicator that it comes with to roll the product around and give yourself a little massage while you apply the mask is a really great relaxing and cooling part of your routine and that experience is definitely worth it for me! I always want to be enjoying the process and experience of using a product in order for it to be worth it and so this is definitely a repurchase in my books! 🙌🏻💓
A favorite K-Beauty Eye Mask!
LANEIGE - Eye Sleeping Mask Laneige is one of my favorite K-Beauty brands - they make so many of my favorite products (lip sleeping mask & glowy lip balms to name a couple) and the Eye Sleeping Mask quickly became a favorite as well. This product is marketed as an overnight eye mask that is meant to deeply hydrate and depuff under eyes. According to Sephora, it can be used by all skin types (even those with sensitive skin!) It is mainly targeted to help anyone who wants to hydrate their under eye area and wake up looking brightened and refreshed (thanks to the caffeine in there!) The texture is thin (slightly thicker than water) and super smooth & soft. My favorite part of this product is the applicator (see picture # 2) It is a ceramic ball applicator which helps the product glide on smoothly and also provides the perfect mechanism to gently massage your eye area. This can be used to massage your under eyes, eye lids and up to your brow bone. I keep this baby in my skincare fridge to amp up the cooling effect. It is so nice to apply and perfect way to treat yourself to a little self care before bed. I really enjoy this product and use it several times per week after I use my regular eye cream. I definitely think this is worth the time/effort to apply because whenever I use this I wake up with brighter and hydrated eyes. I also don’t hate the price ($34 for a little under an ounce) because you don’t need a ton of product to get the job done. Overall, this isn’t a cult classic and Allure Best Of Beauty winner for no reason and I would highly recommend!

😖 Empties! 😖
GLAMGLOW - GENTLEBUBBLE it is one of the worst cleanser I have tried in a long time! My dry skin hated it, because it was very stripping. I was so happy to get rid of this from my collection. It also doesn’t have that great of ingredients, so it is a hard pass from me. 👎🏻 WANDER BEAUTY - Baggage Claim Rose Gold Eye Masks These are so fun and I like using them before any type of special event. I wouldn’t buy these again though, because I think they are overpriced. They are gold, which feels super luxurious and they do temporarily help to depuff the under eye area! They also leave you hydrated and ready for makeup application! 💛❤️

skyn eye gels
the product: skyn ICELAND - Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels the rating: 4/5, good but pricey the ingredients: olive oil, arctic cloud berry oil, glycerin the review: i liked these a lot, but am not a fan of the single use packaging. the eye gels themselves were cooling and de-puffing, and made my eyes plumper. i dont have a dark circle problem normally, so i could not see a difference there. my eyes felt bright and moisturized! the price: 8 for $32, or $4 a pop. there are (as always) more affordable options like florence’s whale eye patches! (60 for $34, $0.57 per patch) or derma-e (60 for $24, $0.40 per patch)

Caffein Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches
These Caffein infused eye patches are excellent to hydrate, de puff and and brighten your eyes. The key ingredients are Caffein (1%) that helps to reduce puffiness, Niacinamide that helps with fine line and skin tone, Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and Alorvera, Licorice extract and peptides that helps soothe, reduce dark circles and helps with the fine lines and wrinkles. These little patches are filled with all the goodness that your eyes need. Highly Recommend!!
☕️ Lover’s 💭 on GM Hydrogel vs TO’s Caffeine 5%
HONEST FEMME FINDS: I TRULY wanted to love this product. I have puffy eye bags and dark circles exacerbated by allergies and poor sleep. In life, caffeine is my best friend but not so much under my eyes, even temporarily. I’m still on the search for a good treatment for my dark circles that’s not just a thicker moisture in a tiny tube. Read more for a review of Good Molecules Hydrogel (1% caffeine) vs. The Ordinary’s 5% Caffeine Solution! GOOD MOLECULES - Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches FIRST IMPRESSIONS: just upon opening the box, I noticed that the tub is a bit smaller than I expected, but the colors are so fun! Still has a sleek minimalist feel to it. The individual hydrogels are soaked but not drenched in solution which can be a good or bad thing, depending on your preference. I noticed that after 10 minutes on the eye, the serum on the gels were essentially used up. USE: To test the effectiveness of the gel, I only tested one eye at a time for a side by side comparison. The coolness of the gel should vasoconstrict the under eye area but I unfortunately didn’t notice much of a difference at all. After 15 min, there was no change in color of my circles. I did notice an decrease in puffiness throughout the day but nothing drastic. Nothing a plumping, soothing face gel couldn’t do! SIMILAR TO: The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG the viscosity of this solution really reminds me of TO’s version, which I used regularly for a couple months! Both sit sticky on the face and pills upon touch, the hydrogel serum less so. I didn’t notice a huge difference with TO’s serum either but it is 5% (caffeine is the 2nd ingredient) versus these hydrogels (only 1%, caffeine as the 5th ingredient). The gels actually have niacinamide > caffeine! So if you’re looking for niacinamide in your mask, Good Molecules would be a better choice. PRICE: $18 for 60 gels (30 pairs) which I think is a fair price for hydrogels. The Ordinary serum, however, gives a lot more product for a third of the price ($6.70). I won’t be repurchasing either as I haven’t had any personal success with caffeine and now I’m really wondering how much 1% (or even 5%) would actually do. I’m getting ready to soak my used hydrogels in my leftover coffee, tbh! Cheers to caffeine, life’s greatest elixir ☕️!

serum + eye patched = a damn good product
PTR CUCUMBER DE-TOX HYDRA-GEL EYE PATCHES: (that’s a long name lol) •these eye patches are marketed as cooling, de-puffing, and hydrating treatments infused with cucumber and serum. •these are targeted to reduce the look of dark circles, hydrate the under eye area, and reduce puffiness and fine lines. •these patches are a hydra-gel component, so they’re a thick jelly-like feel. HONESTY: I have been loving these patches and noticed that after 1 time using these, my under eyes looked less puffy and felt hydrated. These also feel nice and cool when applied and I think I’m going to store them in the fridge to amplify the effects! •I like these because they work well and feel like they stay in place when I put them on. But, the price is quite steep for a full size container... $52 to be exact. I definitely wouldn’t repurchase a full size but the travel size is definitely worth it for $23 and you get a travel size moisturizer and with it!!! •I would definitely recommend trying out the set, it’s better for the price and this product really does work well! RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m giving these 4 out of 5 stars. They work great but I definitely think they’re over priced for a full size. So for that reason, they lost a star in my book!💫PETER THOMAS ROTH - Cucumber De-Tox Hydra-Gel Eye Patches
These are great eye masks
This is used to awaken the appearance of tired eyes by reducing puffiness and dark circles as well as a few other things. That’s something we all need at any age. Lol. I bought this for the dark circles part and have recently started using it and so far so good! I recommend to anyone that’s had a hard night/ hard day- or that just needs a extra pick me up! It’s $52 and worth it! The texture is very Gel Like and easy to put on!PETER THOMAS ROTH - Cucumber De-Tox Hydra-Gel Eye Patches

HerbalDynamics Mango & Green Tea Firming 👁 Mask
My bags and dark circles under my eyes are definitely my biggest skin concern. I’m always ready and willing to try new and exciting eye skincare products! I finally found one that I’ll be coming back to again and again! I absolutely adore this eye mask! It helps with the appearance of my bags a lot!!! The texture is a dream! Look at it! So heavenly. I apply a nice amount under my eyes and leave it on for 3 minutes. I remove it gently with a warm washcloth and then apply my eye cream. It soothes any puffiness that I have and leaves me actually looking awake throughout the day. 😆 I’ll buy a replacement when I run out. I’m also interested in trying more of Herbal Dynamics Beauty products.
Best hydrating eye mask✨💦
I love the fact that it’s not a eye patch but regular cream mask and that intrigued me to try this one ♥️ . This product has amazing ingredients like green tea, caffein, apple and mango extract and mango butter. . This product claims to be reduce the appearance of dark circles, soothe puffiness, hydrated the under eye area and I was sold for all that claims. . The texture of the mask is very creamy and luxurious with a hint of peachy tint:) . I have used for atleast 7-8 times last 2.5 months and I tell you my under eye feels super hydrated and full of moisture after this application. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend if I are looking for a good eye mask. I did not see much difference in my dark circles , well it’s hereditary so no complaints. . Products used to form yesterdays mask. This is why I love @niu.body clay powders. I can experiment with different products and make a new type of mask every time 🤩 I added the @jkosmmune_cosmetics enzyme cleanser to get a gentle enzymatic exfoliation, as well as the m beta glucan toner for a good hydration- m beta glucan is supposed to be more hydrating than hyaluronic acid, which is mind blowing to me 🤯. These two products were gifted to me by the brand, and have only been using them for a week, but so far I’m really liking them. Will review both products soon. Finally, I used @herbivorebotanicals Emerald for a calming, nourishing effect. I was happy with the result of this mask; skin felt smoother and plumped, and brighter 😇 . . pixi - DetoxifEYE Product Claim: Instantly reduce under-eye puffiness and dark circles while moisturizing and soothing your skin (from pixibeauty.com ) Key Ingredients: caffeine, cucumber and gold Texture: gel eye patches Price: $24 – 30 pairs My Experience: Being a college student eye patches are just a crucial necessity sometimes and this one from Pixi Beauty is awesome. These gel eyepatches are super hydrating and help a ton with reducing puffiness! These don’t slide down my face either which is a problem with many eye patches I have tried. These eye patches feel super refreshing when stored in a cold temperature environment. Would I recommend?! YES! These are super effective and also reasonably priced.

I absolutely love these eye patches! They leave my skin feeling really smooth. It does unfortunately take a while before seeing results (after about two weeks I saw results, I wear them every night for like 10 minutes) but the results are totally worth it! Post-Holiday Detox Essentials
The holidays are finally over and I’m reeling 🥴. I ate too much bad food and drank too much alcohol. My face is paying majorly for my bad mistakes. Thankfully I’ve got some products in my back pocket that really make me look and feel better than I do: VERSED - THE FIX Emergency Eye Mask this is a thick gel mask formulated with both caffeine and cucumber juice to bring some vivacity back to your under-eye area. I love the consistency, and always lather way more than necessary when I need it. It absorbs quite nicely after a few minutes and I have no problem layering concealer or other products over it. Depending on how bad the bags are it’ll seemingly reduce puffiness, but I don’t know if that’s just me wanting the product to work for me or if it actually does anything. Bonus: keep it in the fridge for that extra cool feeling ❄️. I’ll definitely repurchase when I’m done with this bad boy, solely for post-night out purposes 😉 Fourth Ray - AFTER HOURS DETOX FACE OIL Fourth Ray makes some lovely facial oils and After Hours is no different. It’s formulated with charcoal, salicylic acid, tea tree, and watermelon seed that absorbs excess oil and supports skin clarity. It has a slight fresh fragrance that doesn’t irritate my skin thankfully. It absorbs beautifully in a few minutes or so and leaves my skin looking hydrated and glowy. The only con to this product is the damn dropper. I hate it so much. You have to turn the bottle completely upside down and then it’ll slowly drop product into your palm. Annoying. But at least the product itself is lovely. This is my second bottle of the stuff and it’s only $10, so I will continue repurchasing for sure!! What are your detox faves?
Versed Emergency Eye Mask
This product is marketed as an emergency eye mask for when you don’t get enough sleep, or your eye bags are just noticeable. It targets the delicate skin around the eyes, nourishing and hydrating the skin while also cooling and depuffing. It has a gel texture that is cooling as you pat it into your skin. I have been using this for months now and I absolutely LOVE this product. It was the first product I tried from Versed and I’m hooked. I’ve always struggled with dry under eyes and this makes such a difference. I use this almost every day. It’s super hydrating, and it definitely is brightening too. I recommend this to anyone that I can! It’s $18, and you need the tiniest pea size amount so you’ll definitely get your moneys worth. It’s a 5/5 from me!
Herbal Dynamics Mango & Green Tea Undereye Mask
The Mango & Green Tea undereye plumping mask from Herbal Dynamics was gifted to me a few months ago. I use it sporadically. It is targeted at people with tired, sallow, or dull under eyes in need of brightening. This product is meant to plump and brighten the under eye area and help reduce darkness. It is a thick cream that smells of mangos when you apply it. It is rather heavy on the area but it helps it stay in place. When I apply this, the area tingles slightly but doesn’t sting. I usually apply a thick enough layer that you can see the product and don’t rub it in. After using this, the area feels cooled and looks a little brighter, but it doesn’t appear to be too plump. I have used it numerous times and never feel it doesn’t anything crazy impressive. It’s not bad but I probably wouldn’t spend money on it when there are caffeine products that seem to work better for me. The fine lines near my eyes looked exactly the same after use. After using this a bit, I noticed that it has a sort of false bottom so only the top half is filled with product and the bottom is empty. I found this disappointing, although it’s clearly based on volume which I didn’t look at. Just know that if you buy this, the whole tub is not full. It has a bit of shimmer to it which remains on when you wipe the mask off which I don’t like. I don’t think shimmer counts as brightening but maybe that’s just me. If you’re looking for a brightening eye mask, I would probably look around for some others. This retails for $20/15ml. Not totally unreasonable but also could probably find something a little less expensive.
Herbal Dynamics Beauty-MANGO & GREEN TEA FIRMING EYE MASK
Eye Mask to de puff !
pixi - DetoxifEYE These Pixi Eye Gels are my favorite eye gels and the only ones I use! They de puff so well. So first the texture, they are a really nice thin consistency. They stay on the eyes really easily without sliding as well. They feel really cooling on the skin too, if you put them in the fridge you get an extra cooling feeing too. Leave them on for about 20min in the morning or the evening. Next the results. This leaves my under eyes noticeably less puffy. They have less inflammation from the morning and night time and I can use less concealer due to this as well. It also leaves my under eyes very hydrated for hours as well. This also can double as catching eye shadow fallout when doing makeup in the morning as well! You can get these for $24 at Target or Pixis website. To be honest they are no really under $20 eye gels on the market so I think this great if your on a mid range budget and can splurge. It also comes with quit a few so the last a while! I would definitely recommend these because they are effective and feel so cooling on my skin!
VII Oxygen Eye Masks
Viicode Eye Masks Product Claims: Restores and hydrates skin. Skin is refreshed, balanced, and soothed. Possesses antioxidant properties. Stimulates cell regeneration, promoting healthy skin. Prevent skin from dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. Product Target Concerns: Dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. Texture/Consistency: like felt on one side, and gooey on the other. My thoughts on the product: So you are supposed to sleep with these on at night, approx. 8 hrs. To wake up with decreased puffiness, etc. I found them to kinda be “in the way” and rather bothersome trying to sleep in, but if you are staying home one day and don’t have to go anywhere, I don’t think there would be an issue with them. I noticed that my normal puffiness was decreased, and they were “hydrated” but not lasting all day. Recommend to Others: Eh. They are pretty expensive and you have to leave them on for a long time to get the full effect, so probably not. Price: $55 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

An eye mask without the waste ❄️ from Versed
Eye mask without the waste 💦 Get ready for an honest review... This is Versed’s “The Fix” Emergency Eye Mask with caffeine and cucumber oil, a 10 minute mask to help de-puff tired eyes. The texture is SO enjoyable to me. It’s a super thick cooling gel consistency that honestly makes you feel like you’re wearing a “real” eye mask...without the waste! I would say my overall experience was great up until today, as I am writing this (no joke). I usually leave it on for 5-10 minutes since my skin is sensitive and I don’t like to take chances with irritation. If you swipe through my photos, you’ll see what happened when I accidentally left it on for 20 minutes. My skin is hot but not itchy or burning feeling and there is irritation in the area. I’m shocked. When I use this for the recommended amount of time it’s fine and depuffs quick! I guess that’s my wake up call to continue following the directions... Other than my “oopsie,” I would say I like this mask a lot. It gives a great cooling sensation to the eyes and is an easy quick mask in the morning that won’t set you back in precious time. I enjoy the Versed line in general and if you’re looking for a low-waste option, I would definitely recommend this! It’s a great value (you get SO MUCH product) at $18 and it’s super accessible being stocked at Target stores. Due to my recent experience I have to give this product a 3 out of 5 star rating. Even though the irritation went away, it took about an hour to reduce redness and I don’t think the sensitive eye area is somewhere that this irritation should even potentially exist in. Anyone who has looked tired their entire life (🙋🏻♀️ me). Anyone with dry, sallow, puffy under eyes or dark circles or just anyone who enjoys a good under eye mask. 🐼 What’s in it? Primarily Golden Osmanthus, a flower species native to the Far East. This flower is popular in China and Japan for its anti inflammatory and rejuvenating properties. Additionally these masks contain glycerin, witch hazel, and collagen for plumping and firming the under eyes. 🐼My thoughts? I find these masks and this brands philosophy to be just lovely. The masks are an interesting shape (see second photo) and can be used all around the eye or folded in half to focus just on the under eye. I prefer to fold them because I do find the serum to kind of drip in my eye a little when I use them whole. The website recommends putting these in the fridge for 30-45 minutes before use as the Golden Osmanthus’s healing properties are activated by the cold (plus the masks are incredibly refreshing when they go on cold). I love these for morning time when I usually look not only like I’ve never slept an hour in my life but also like I’ve been attacked by a herd of bees (I am very very puffy in the mornings). These masks are very thin and the serum is very light and watery. They absorb easily into my skin and make me look very nearly awake. If you’re looking for a new under eye mask and want to support a small brand and a good cause definitely give Manda’s Garden a try!
