help fix my skincare routine!!
i have very oily and acne prone skin and am currently breaking out a lot on my chin and forehead area. I use the la roche posay effaclar cleanser LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel am and pm but don’t like how stripping it is. I’ve been trying to find a gentle cleanser that will also thoroughly cleanse my skin (keep my acne at bay) but have yet to find one that i think would work for my skin. I would love to hear any suggestions! I also use the ordinary niacinimide and zinc The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% am and pm (but alternate pm every other day with the latic acid). for the latic acid i use it every other night just so that i don’t overdo my skin with acids. i also use the salicylic acid mask 1 time a week to exfoliate my skin. I use the cerave pm facial moisturizer CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion and haven’t had any problems with it and will definitely be repurchasing. lastly, i use neutrogena’s moisturizer with spf. i like how this is light and doesn’t have a white cast but it does leave me very oily and i am definitely open to any suggestions for a new sunscreen.
HELP!! What actives should I be using?
I’m really struggling to figure out which actives I should be using... which means I’m not sticking to any one in particular, just jumping around from product to product whenever I feel like it. I know I need to be consistent, I just don’t know which one(s) to do. What would be the best to use/combine? Should I use one type in the AM with sunscreen and another at night? Currently I’m using - Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil to remove makeup CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin as face wash DERMA•E - All Sport Performance Face Sunscreen SPF 30 as sunscreen and I recently switched to CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion from the CeraVe cream in the tub. I also have CeraVe - Renewing SA Lotionbut I’m hesitant to use it with my other actives. Any advice is appreciated, I’m really struggling 🥺

A miracle spot-disappearing product🤫🤫
MARIO BADESCU - Glass Bottle Drying Lotion I bought a bottle after my sister recommended it to me. I’ve not suffered from spots since I was 17 but for some crazy reason, I’ve started getting breakouts in my 19‘s. Bad breakouts! This drying lotion works, it’s cleared my skin, now I'm 21 and has struggled with my acne for years. I first started using it, the stuff is extremely insane. I only need dip a cotton bud into the bottle, right to the bottom, where all the pink liquid is resting. Then the cotton bud is dragged upwards through the liquid. Dab the cotton bud on to your spot, at night, and go to sleep. Your spot will disappear in the morning. I usually won't apply it all over because it's very drying. Although I tend to have a little bit of rosacea once in a while, I have spread a very thin layer over that area of my cheek / and never had a problem with over-drying. I'll also use it in the morning if I feel something coming on in an obvious area of my face, I'll apply a thin layer (once it's dry, I can blend away the pink a little more) then I apply my makeup and off to work I go. I had read that the product should never be shaken or mixed. I take a Qtip and dip it in just far enough to hit the pink solution, then I dab it on the spot where it's needed at night before bed. Smaller zits usually need only one application and it's gone overnight. Medium to larger zits I'll use the product for 2 or 3 nights in a row until it's completely gone. I'll see shrinkage starting the very next day. It seems to work best on whiteheads for me those active, greasy, liquid-filled spots. It doesn't work on red scars or anything, but you wouldn't expect it to. Anyway, highly recommended this product.
All problems can be solved with only 💰36!
Do you have such troubles? Usually everything is perfect, but the more important it is, the easier it is for skin to cause problems. When changing seasons or menstrual periods, I am a very acne-prone person, especially on the chin and forehead. This means that the imbalance of hormones in my body leads to the instability of the skin. At this time, I usually choose a complete set of skin care products to alleviate skin problems. Because a whole set of skin care products are of the same brand, their ingredients and application procedures will be strictly regulated, which will not cause adverse reactions when your skin collapses. Mario Badescu Complexion Perfection Kit $36 This set of products was bought at a discount. To tell the truth, I didn't know this brand very well before. But after I got a lot of pimples on my chin, the $36 products solved my urgent need. This set of products is designed to treat blemish prone and oily skin types, including Drying Lotion, Drying Cream and Special Healing Powder. Their specifications are not very big, and because I don't use them every day, they are very suitable, and I don't have to worry about the expiration. These three kinds of products can be used as a complete routine skin care procedure. There are two key components, both of which are useful for acne. The first one is Salicylic Acid, which can exfoliate in pores, remove bacteria and excess oil. The second is Sulphur, which is a gentle mineral that draws out impurities and absorbs oil. Generally speaking, my acne disappears in about two days after using this product. First of all, I will use Drying Lotion to apply to the surface of the acne. Please pay particular attention here. Never shake the bottle. All you need to do is dip the pink precipitate on the bottom of the bottle with a cotton swab, and then apply it on the acne surface. This is the core product in this group. Next, you can use Drying Cream and Special Healing Powder. They dry your oily skin and reduce the possibility of pore blockage.

Morning Routine and Current Thoughts
I’ve been keeping my morning routine pretty simple, which helps save time when I decide to wear makeup. Let me know your thoughts on these! CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I already mentioned this one in a previous night routine post, but thats bc she’s versatile and the best cleanser around. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I follow w this serum to help with oil and pores, I would normally have this in my night routine but my current night cream has vitamin C and I don’t want them interacting. I know some people say this product leaves them tacky, and I have that for only a bit before it dries down and is unnoticeable. She’s definitely helped my blackheads and general breakouts. CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 This is the one product I’m looking to change out. I love a moisturizer w SPF but this one does leave me a bit greasy and w a bit of whitecast. Worn alone its not so bad, but whenever I wear makeup on top, its a battle to keep things from sliding and keep shine away. I do like that it hasn’t caused any breakouts and is definitely moisturizing. Let me know of any lighter moisturizers w SPF you think I should try!
My Morning Accutane Routine
Hi! It’s me again! So this is my morning routine while on my accutane treatment. Thank you btw on all the positive feedback I’ve received! So my ultimate goal with this routine is to just do a basic cleanse and moisturize heavily due to the drying nature of my medication. I’ve mentioned most of these products before except for the African Black Soap. CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin A gem as always. RATA & CO. - Rose Water & Witch Hazel Facial Mist Toner She’s a queen. CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 boring but gets the job done ✅ HAWAIIAN Tropic - Silk Hydration Air Soft Ultra-Light Sun Lotion SPF50 I’m gonna switch this one out for something without added scents. But this works for the most part. Honestly it will not last all day, I’ve gotten sunburned while wearing this. SKYORGANICS - 100% Pure African Black Soap Body Wash NOW THIS... if you’ve had a rough couple of days where you’ve worn makeup and forgotten to wash your face a couple of times, this will deep cleanse you. I got it after seeing a lot of people recommending it on pinterest (ik but that was before i had this app) . It’s just a little interesting if it gets near your nose. Like it has this interesting burning sensation. And don’t wash open wounds with it because that also burns.

Clinique almost had me like woah 😳
My mom has used clinique for years. When I started my skincare journey, I wanted to be like mom so I started with CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ & it has been my holy grail for years. I was so excited when I saw this new line of cartridges came out and I just recently tried them. it makes me happy that the base for the cartridges is something I've been using. starting with the purple, which is for lines and wrinkles. this isnt such a problem for me but I do have two deep set lines between my eyebrows from furrowing so much. I didnt see a difference really after using it for 3 weeks, but maybe due to not using it long? the orange, for fatigue. this has a good smell and my skin felt pretty good using this for a month. however, it did give me more breakouts that I normally wouldn't have. green, for irritation. this actually irritated my skin. my skin felt really hot and flushed. white, for uneven skin tone. this one made my skin look much more dewy and I had a glow. I didnt visually see a significant difference in texture per say, but it felt smoother. blue, for large pores and uneven texture. THIS ONE. hands down the best for me. I have serious hyperpigmentation and texture like crazy. My pores near my nose are ginormous. This made a tremendous difference in hydration, texture, and the suppleness of my skin. Helped soothe my breakouts, and is not the treatment I use every other day that keeps my skin in check. hallelujah, I found a winner. something my sensitive skin doesn't hate 💙
skin journey part 1
here to note the products i use in my daily routine: mornings i just use: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ after splashing my face with water and drying it off at night i: wash my face with a half pump of Bioré - Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser and a full pump of Bioré - Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Cooling Cleanser then i use GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover to remove any excess product followed by Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Gel if necessary then every sunday night i use The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and to make sure my skin stays hydrated i take my CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ mixed with The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil any and all suggestions/feedback is welcome!

Over Exfoliation: Products for Recovery
Many of these can be considered drugstore products since they’re very accessible. I like to make budget friendly recommendations to make it more convenient for everyone including students like myself. —Cleansers— Simple - Kind to Skin Moisturizing Facial Wash This is a very gentle cleanser that has a gel-like texture. It includes very soothing ingredients and rinses very nicely without leaving any residue or a tight feeling. This cleanser effectively removes dirt and oil as well. This product is fragrance-free and it’s only $5! Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Hydrating Gel Cleanser This is another gentle cleanser with many soothing ingredients suitable for sensitive or irritated skin. This cleanser leaves skin refreshed without leaving it dry or tight. It’s fragrance-free and it retails for $7! —Toners/Serums— FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner This toner contains many hydrating and soothing ingredients for calming redness and moisture. This toner provides lightweight hydration and is fragrance-free. This product is free from iffy ingredients such as alcohol and witch hazel which are common among many toners. These ingredients can be too stripping especially for sensitized skin. It also contains antioxidant and fatty acid rich squalane. This toner can be considered to be on the pricier side, retailing for $22. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum This serum has a very lightweight texture that works well for all skin types while providing sheer moisture. The product includes a very good mix of reparative, antioxidant, and anti-irritants. It has hyaluronic acid and collagen which helps reduce inflammation and provides the defense of antioxidants. Another ingredient included is feverfew which has anti-redness capabilities. This product is also fragrance-free and retails for $38. —Emollients— CeraVe - Healing Ointment Emollients are great for those dry flaky areas, especially this one. It’s a gentle formula that is fragrance-free. The formula contains ceramides, hyaluronic acid, a high amount of petrolatum, mineral oil, and silicone which all contribute to this ointment’s healing capabilities. This product retails for $11. Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment This is a very reliable product with a gentle fragrance-free formula. This is a dermatologist favorite for reason since it does amazingly well with dry, cracked, and irritated skin. —Moisturizers— FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer Has a gentle and soothing formula that is also fragrance-free. Good mix of replenishing ingredients with antioxidants. This product moisturizes without leaving a greasy feeling. I hope this helps everyone! :)
Skincare swaps for Summer to Winter ☀️➡️❄️
Unless you live in a neutral weather area year-round, it’s important to adjust your skincare routine based on the weather outside—temperature, humidity, and other factors should play into your routines. For my sensitive, red, acne-prone combination skin, this is how I do it! I keep some of my routine the same, but here are some highlighted products that only show up in the summer or winter for me: SUMMER HIGHLIGHTS ☀️ Sunday Riley UFO Oil: SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Acne Treatment Face Oil don’t ask me why this works wonders in the summer but doesn’t in the winter! I have been in this cycle since 2018, and it just works for me best in the summer. I think it’s because this is a dry oil formula so it’s not really as moisturizing as your skin needs in the winter. First Aid Beauty Face Moisturizer: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT THE ULTRA REPAIR CREAM!! This is the facial moisturizer version that comes in pump packaging. It’s a much more lightweight formula, almost gel-like, making it great for the summertime when you’re sweating more and your face is hit with more humidity. This doesn’t give me enough moisture in the winter. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask: SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask Hear me out. I’ve said this time and time again. This is NOT a hydrating mask. The top ingredient behind water is a natural exfoliant (chestnut seed extract) so really it’s a polishing mask. In the summer I wear it overnight over another cream or oil instead of as a wash off mask. I’ve noticed that it reduces my redness and helps my breakouts clear faster. Since this doesn’t hydrate me, I use it more often in the summer. WINTER HIGHLIGHTS ❄️ Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid Booster: PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster just want to say this up front—even though I like this product, I don’t condone the past racist actions of the brand owner and will not be purchasing from them moving forward. This is a product I already had in my possession. That being said, if you have rosacea, this will be your best friend. It’s all about calming redness and fighting acne without exfoliating—perfect for winter. I will use this on top of serums but under heavy creams. Don’t use this with probiotics, as this is anti-bacterial, so it may create a reaction in your skin. Lactic Acid Serums: The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment I’ve linked both of these products since they both work for me but one is drastically lower in price. Lactic acid is a gentle AHA that can help fight acne. I like both of these serums, and use them at night. Wild Magic Beauty Oil: WILD MAGIC BEAUTY - MOON LIGHT - Goji Berry + Sea Buckthorn Facial Oil this is my go-to night oil in the winter. So moisturizing and luxurious! #CheriePartner

Month 1 Curology & Differin- The Purge Is Real
I’ve always had acne, but at 21 I started getting hormonal acne on my cheeks, chin and jaw- super painful and red! I am currently experiencing a lot of purging after a month exactly on Curology & Differin due to doctor and friend recommendation. I also got my hormonal IUD (Kyleena) out on Friday (10/09?) and I feel like my acne has been hormonally linked more than anything. I started taking Sprintec hormonal BC so we’ll see how it goes. My first derm appointment is Nov 1st- not soon enough! I wasn’t exactly informed til about two weeks in that my skin would be worse, which was pretty shitty, but it is what it is. I’m at about week 5 1/2 and have found some products work better or worse for me. I have very sensitive skin- parts of my body are prone to eczema but my face is combo (oily/dry) and prone to acne (hormonal mostly). My routine: AM- Curology cleanser Curology moisturizer (it’s very light/gel) but more often now I use the TO moisturizer lately (for dry/sensitive skin) I use Micellar cleansing water with cotton pads during the day if I sweat or wear my mask 😷 then apply moisturizer again if my skin barrier looks dry- it usually does nowadays.. PM- Double cleanse with Curology cleanser or Alba SA Cleanser (gently exfoliates) when I need to exfoliate Curology moisturizer or TO moisturizer (usually TO) Curology formula every other night / Differin every other night (I never use together even though at first I was🤧)- I might decrease the use of these but idk what to do Curology moisturizer or TO moisturizer (sway toward this) Please give me tips or reassurance that I’m doing okay! Best of luck to any girlies or others💜 struggling with maskcne, cystic acne and hormonal acne.... I feel ya! 💘
Curology update pt.4
Hey babes! I’ve been waiting to do my last and final review on Curology to gather my opinions on it after using it for nearly a month! As previously stated in other posts: I have been contemplating on whether or not I will continue using Curology to target my skin concerns. I have finally decided *drum roll* I will not be continuing to use Curology products that have been included in my free trial. After weighing out the pros and cons, I really just feel like it’s pointless for me to keep using only their products. Curology - The Cleanser the cleanser is the best part for me! I love the milky like texture, and how smooth my face feels after. I’m glad that I still have more than enough left over whenever I want to use it or switch up my products. Curology - Curology formula i rate the formula at a 3, because although it did help my acne based on my forehead, I feel I could’ve just got products from the Ordinary that would’ve done the same thing. Curology - The Moisturizer my least favorite item out of the package. I wish they put more in, but it’s understandable why I ran out so fast. I like to moisturize and feel the moisturizer on my skin (if that makes sense), and this product just didn’t do it for me. In my personal opinion, I think this brand would be great for people with more acne prone skin (since this brand is mainly for that). As far as my skin, I do have my occasional breakouts and Curology did help target my fungal acne that I started to get more of on my forehead, so I am grateful for that! I just think I could find/use my products that will not only help the fungal acne, but also target some of my other skin concerns (I.e hyperpigmentation, blackheads on top of nose). Overall, I’m glad I did experience what the hype was about, but I won’t be returning lol. If anyone has any tips for my skin concerns that I have mentioned, please let me know. I’m listening 👂🏽☺️

I’m not sure if it’s the products that I’ve been using or it could be hormonal?? I stayed up late one night week doing schoolwork and woke up with this. My face got super itchy and keeps breaking out. I keep my skincare routine pretty simple as I only use CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin NOXZEMA - Anti Blemish Pads OLAY - Complete All Day UV Moisturizer SPF 15 Sensitive Skin + an antibacterial soap from Amway I’ve stopped using the anti blemish pads recently to prevent irritation. I have senior pictures in a few weeks and I’m looking for the fastest but safest way possible to get rid of the redness and scars. Anything helps!!
Fall 2020 Skincare Routine
The first product in my skincare routine is the Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Water. It smells a little weird, but works super well for me. It’s cooling and anti redness, as well as being water based, meaning it can be good for those with oily skin. Micellar water is made from purified water mixed with hydrating compounds and cleansing agents. The cleansing agent molecules join to form micelles, which are a chemical structure that helps pull oil and dirt from the skin. This micellar water is $6.29 from Target for a 6.7 oz bottle. I think it’s fairly cheap for a cleanser and works very well for the price. Simple - Micellar Cleansing Water Next, 2 times a week I use the Bliss Mighty Marshmallow Bright & Radiant Whipped Mask. When I first opened the container for this mask, I was hit with the distinct smell of strawberry jello. This is actually something I like about the mask. Other than the smell, which comes from the mask containing extracts and glycerin, it is also cooling, anti redness, creamy, super easy to apply, and leaves your skin very glowy after use. Now let’s talk ingredients. The key ingredients in this product are listed below: Marshmallow Root Extract: hydrating Vitamin C: helps even skin tone Olive Leaf Extract: limits water loss and plumps the skin Zinc PCA: reduces excess oil and anti redness Glycerin: hydrating One thing to note about this mask is it does contain some alcohol. This alcohol is okay in products though. (See my post on Alcohol) This product is available at Target for $16.39 for a 1.7 oz. bottle. It is a more pricey mask, but I personally think it does more for my skin than a $55 mask I used to buy. bliss - Mighty Marshmallow Mask Next I use the Trader Joes Rose Water Facial Toner. I will say this toner is pretty average. It’s hydrating, but has no outstanding ingredients or benefits. I don’t think I’ll repurchase it simply because it has fragrance, something I didn’t notice when I bought it. This toner can be found at Trader Joes for $3.99 for a 4 oz bottle. As you can see, it’s an incredibly cheap product, but not worth it. TRADER JOE'S - Rose Water Facial Toner My moisturizer on the other hand I love. It’s the Olay Complete Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15. It’s creamy, hydrating, a little oily, and leaves your skin super smooth and glowy. All of its active ingredients are sunscreens, and other than that it’s just a good, basic moisturizer that works really well for me. It can be found at Target for $11.39 for a 6 oz bottle. OLAY - Complete All Day UV Moisturizer SPF 15 Sensitive Skin And finally I use the CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion. This is a thick, creamy, hydrating moisturizing body lotion that I’m in love with! I use it twice a day and my skin is softer than its ever been. Highly recommend. CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This lotion can be found at Target for $17.49 for a 12 oz bottle. Please give this post a cheer so more people can find amazing products, and follow me @_sips_tea_ on Instagram and on this account for Cherie! -Naomi

Critique a skincare newbie’s routine
Skins problems: I tend to get mild Rosacea on my lower cheeks and develop tons of blockheads in the creases of my nose, chin and between eyebrows. Other than that I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and normal to dry everywhere else. Where I’m at... So I kinda feel down the rabbit hole into skincare the other month and have tried using a morning routine as follows: GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skin The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Made my skin so smooth really quickly, love this one) CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Oil-Free Gel Neutrogena - Sheer Zinc Face Lotion SPF 50 (leaves a really bad white tint which I can’t seem to get rid of) And a nighttime routine as follows: CLINIQUE - Liquid Facial Soap Extra Mild (leaves my skin a bit tight-feeling) PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator (I think it’s working I just can’t really tell) CLINIQUE - Clarifying Lotion 2 For Dry Combination Skin (a bit drying but I don’t want to waste the product) The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Made my skin so smooth really quickly, love this one) CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Oil-Free Gel Outcomes so far: My skin is overall more hydrated and smoother but I still find black dots in my problem areas. Plea for help I have seen improvements but I feel like I don’t quite know what I’m doing and could use some external input. Plz feel free to add any (and I mean any) tips or critique. Thank youuuuuuu
My interchange a.m. routine
I’m in love with my latest find the Body Shop’s Camomile Cleansing Butter. It feels absolutely amazing on my sensitive skin, although I am thinking of moving this to become my pm cleanser as I’d have more time to enjoy it! The Pixi Glow Tonic is cult for a reason. It would be on my skincare version of Desert Island Disks. Finally, the Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum is perfect for days you’re running late. I love taking the time to layer my serums properly but it isn’t always possible - that’s where this product comes in. It’s too expensive for me to use every day but you can pick up a travel size version for only a few dollars.
Lightweight Moisturizing Lotion✨
Every time I use a Cerave product I fall deeper and deeper in love with this brand. This lotion helps with dry skin, helps keep your skin soon and moisturizer for the whole day. It’s also lightweight and seeps into your skin in little to no time. This product has surely made it’s way to my top 5 favorite lotions.
CeraVe-Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin
Cerave Moisturizing Lotion - Review
CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Really good for oily/combo skin! I have combo skin and this moisturizer is very light but moisturizing enough. The texture is very light-weight and non-sticky, it absorbs really quickly into the skin. Pairs really well with the niacinamide or the mandelic acid from The Ordinary for people with acne-trouble skin. Also, this lotion is really great for the body! In conclusion, this lotion is a really good, beginner-friendly and affordable moisturizer.
CeraVe-Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin
dear, klairs - Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++ - this chemical sunscreen has changed my opinion on sunscreen and helped me realize that there are actually good ones out there - protects against UVA and UVB rays - has a airy melty texture and leave NO white cast!! - I use it as a sunscreen and moisturizer in the morning since I have combo/ oily skin, if you have normal to dry skin I would recommend using a moisturizer before this!! Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 - this physical is very light weight in melts into the skin really easily - usually physical sunscreen leave whit cast and can be heavy but this one isn’t like that and it’s also a moisturizer so it’s kind of 2 in 1 - the only negative is that it’s only spf 15 but aveeno does offer spf 30 but I haven’t tried it yet CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 - this physical sunscreen takes a while to work in and get rid of the white cast - the texture isn’t heavy but it makes my skin really oily after making my face feel heavy - I was very disappointed in this sunscreen because it left a whit cast and it also started pilling😕
CeraVe-AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30
My Holy Grail Moisturizer😌
My holy grail moisturizer of all times! I have tried many moisturizers throughout my skin journey but this one is so far the best one I have tried. I have tried many moisturizers that claim to provide moisture but don’t do anything and actually make may face feel tight, dry and somehow make my skin super oily. However, with this moisturizer I can actually feel my skin being moisture. It gives me the right amount of moisture my oily skin needs without feeling heavy or making my skin produce more oil than what it should produce. That being said I totally recommend this moisturizer specially if you have oily skin. If you have dry or normal skin Clinique has a lotion version of this moisturizer which is also amazing, I love to use it during the colder months. Also if you have sensitive skin this moisturizer is also safe for your skin because it doesn’t contain any fragrances. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Moisturizing Lotion This right here is one of my favorite lotions because I can use it on my body and it’s also lightweight enough to use on my face. I normally only use this for my face aside with a couple of other moisturizers in the early morning when I have work or class. I put this on right after I have applied toner on my face. I sometimes do have to reapply a few hours later because my face is super dry, but if you put this on with a heavier or gel moisturizer on top, you will feel very hydrated and smooth. For about $20, it’s a pretty big bottle and tbh it has lasted me about 6 months now. I normally only wear it when it’s early in the morning and I don’t want a lot of product on my face or if I don’t plan on going out anywhere I use this to keep my crusty face from getting to dry >.<. It’s not favorite lotion of all time but it’s up there for the price and size!

This moisturizer duo changed my life🤭 Dry skin has always been a concern, and this moisturizer is a balanced solution to skin dryness/irritability. CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This is a fantastic daily moisturizer. I use this as a part of my am & pm skincare routine to ensure my skin stays hydrated. The only thing this moisturizer is missing? SPF 🤪 CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 Okay so for my whole life I have refused to wear sunscreen on my face because I associate it with making my skin oily/breakout prone. This SPF moisturizer changed everything. It is a staple part of my routine on sunny days, and I’m hoping to be better about incorporating it on not-so-sunny days. While it looks opaque and requires a bit of rubbing in - once massaged into skin it is very lightweight and mattifying. My favorite thing to do is combine it with a bit of concealer for coverage 👀
