Low/High 💰 Dry Shampoo
The Batiste dry shampoo is one that works well, it smells pleasant (comes in various scents also), it is affordable, and at most drugstores. The one pitfall for me is it leaves a weird powdery film even after rubbing it in. Some may say “yOu’Re UsInG tOo MuCH,” but I (admittedly) wash my hair once a week. So I have to start using dry shampoo by day 3 atleast. The buildup from this dry shampoo is not my fave. O can feel it and it weighs down my hair. Price point is around $9. Holy. Grail. Dry Shampoo. Amika’s Perk Up* is honestly everythingggg. I love the way it smells (Amika’s signature scent is amazing), it DOES NOT weigh down my hair 👏🏻, it works extremely well, no white cast. Also, really cute packaging 😝 It is $25 and while some may say that is too expensive for a dry shampoo. I disagree because I am paying for something that works well and ticks off all my boxes. *Product was gifted but I have since repurchased a backup Batiste - Original Dry Shampoo Clean & Classic amika: - Perk Up Dry Shampoo

Amika perk up dry shampoo
amika: - Perk Up Dry Shampoo I’m new to this amika world, since I never really spend a lot of money on hair products but this is so worth it. Possibly the best dry shampoo I’ve used so far! It doesn’t leave any white cast, which is barely ever see in a dry shampoo. It makes my hair look like I just washed it even after 6 days and it feels soft, not crusty and dull. LOVE! It also makes my hair smell nice which I love, will be repurchasing the full size next time!

I was waiting to finish up two more products before I put this little collection together. There were definitely some hits and some misses here! • Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo: I did not like this. I felt like I had to use so much product for it to soak up oil and it didn’t seem to be doing anything. I went through this so quickly and I expected so much more from this product. I have tried their texturizing spray and love it this was just a miss for me. • Batiste Dry Shampoo: The winner here. This is one of my favorite store bought dry shampoos. (In an effort to use more natural products this year I started making my own if you guys want a post on that let me know) it does everything it claims to do. This sometimes leaves a white cast if I use too much so I try to be mindful of that but it’s amazing! • Tula Kefir Cleansing Oil: This was in my yearly favorites and I can’t say enough good things about this. It cleanses every bit of makeup, the texture is gorgeous, it emulsifies beautifully and leaves me feeling so hydrated. Absolutely will repurchase! • Doterra Anti-Aging Eye Cream: This eyecream has a blend of essential oils but my favorite is blue tansy! It always left me feeling hydrated and I used this day and night with no issues under makeup. I love the applicator on the end it is so cooling and mess free. I have gone through two of these and will repurchase again! • Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant: I really liked this! Lasted well depending on what I was doing I had to reapply. I got the sensitive formula I haven’t tried the other formula. I’m not sure it’s my holy grail natural deodorant since I made the switch earlier this year I have been searching if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them below! • Kopari Coconut Deodorant: This smells so good and I prefer the texture to this over the Schmidt’s deodorant but I’m still not sure this is the one!

February Favorites 🍓
Might as well post my February Faves! @peterthomasrothofficial Pumpkin Enzyme Mask- this is my second tub and while not having it for a while, I realized I missed it! Similar results as the DE Babyfacial but smells like pumpkin pie! You can definitely feel the spiciness while it’s on and the results are fantastic! @theouai Super Dry Shampoo- this is my second bottle, it’s so goooood! I really don’t have to use dry shampoo for the next few days after spraying this, and it prolongs my hair wash for at least another two days! @olaplex No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner- this makes my hair feel and look amazing, especially after I dyed it! @lancomeofficial Skin Feels Good Skin Tint- Lancome makes some amazing foundations! I’ve been loving the light/medium coverage this gives and I love tubes, they’re so easy to use! @hourglasscosmetics Vanish Airbrush Concealer- people either love or hate this concealer but I’m so impressed! It looks good all day and doesn’t look cakey or dry! @freshbeauty Sugar Lychee Perfume- I need all of their perfumes now! This has such a unique and fresh, sweet scent, I’ve been obsessed! @maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara- I forgot how good drug store mascaras really are and this one reminded me! It gives crazy volume and length and it’s super black! @morphebrushes Mega Matte Lipstick “Boy Toy”- the formula isn’t my favorite but the shade is one of a kind, gives me 90s concealer lips vibes and I’m loving it! @Sephora Flawless Airbrush #56- This brush is the best for blending out concealer, Sephora brushes have been my obsession lately! And they’ve been on sale so I can’t pass them up!

hyped but no thank you
Ouai - OUAI Super Dry Shampoo Let me start off by saying, I love Ouai. I love this brand so much, but this dry shampoo is not the product for me. I have thin, limp, dark hair. This dry shampoo does its job and didn’t really leave a white cast on my hair but the smell is HORRIBLE. I couldn’t/can’t stand it. It’s just so bad. It makes me not want to use the product at all.

Dry shampoo foam
This is the best dry shampoo hands down. It is designed to reduce oil and grease in your hair while still hydrating your scalp and strands. It is a foam texture the appears like mouse and absorbs in the hair quickly. I won this in a giveaway on Instagram and am definitely going to repurchase once it is out. I had given up on dry shampoo all together but this one gets rid of the grease and oil but still leaves my scalp hydrated and doesn’t leave all of the residue. The full size bottle is $25 and so worth it. I use this whenever my hair is greasy and it has lasted me for about four months. I would definitely recommend this for anyone, especially those that don’t like traditional dry shampoos. This receives a 5 star rating from me!amika: - Phantom Hydrating Dry Shampoo Foam

haircare products have been my latest obsession and some products are so fun and interesting. These two specifically! I enjoy the amika: - Phantom Hydrating Dry Shampoo Foamwhen my hair needs a little pick me up in between washes! The concept of being a foam instead of a spray is so interesting and I think it’s a cool take on it! All I do is take a bit I go my hand, maybe a golf ball sized amount, and massage into my scalp where it’s needed! It definitely soaks up the oils and leaves my hair fresh! The IGK - Antisocial Overnight Bond-Building Dry Hair Maskis great to use at night before bed! I spray it all over, comb through my hair and head to bed! I wake up the next day with softer hair that’s ready to take on the day! A skincare product ive been loving lately is the boscia - Resurfacing Treatment TonerI think this is such a great, underrated exfoliating toner. The nights I use this, I always see a great improvement the next morning. My skin looks more even toned and healthy. It stings a little for me upon application, but being used to chemical exfoliants it isn’t something that deters me from using this at least 3x a week!

Affordable Dry Shampoo?
Affordable Dry Shampoo?
This week I’ve been trying to figure out and treating my hair because sometimes it’s overlooked! I sometimes get oily hair after showering and this is freaking perfect. You have to be careful while applying this or your hair might become clumpy. My first mistake was putting it in too much. You’re supposed to have little in your hair and work the areas you feel need it. The bottle is soo pretty and the powder is so fine! You can barely feel it on your scalp. I wish the nozzle were different because the powder being so light comes out in ribbons. I have quite dark and I didn’t feel like this powder was so that white that it shows up. It blends in perfectly!!

THE BEST DRY SHAMPOO TO EVER EXIST!!!!!
THE BEST DRY SHAMPOO TO EVER EXIST!!!!!
Seriously. It’s the absolute best I’ve tried! ✨ LIFE CHANGING ✨ FUNCTION: to make my greasy head fresh again!!! CONSISTENCY: is wayyyy better than other formulas I’ve tried. Usually the white powder residue is a pain to have to massage into my hair and takes forever but this takes no time at all! (okay like less than a minute) but you get what I mean! I decided to try it because I had read a lot of good reviews on it and I was in the market for THE dry shampoo. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here to tell you, THIS! IS! IT!!! I seriously cannot rave enough about how much I looooveeee this dry shampoo. AND it smells amazing! I used to have to wash my hair every other day because of how quickly it would get so oily. Now, I can go at least four days before having to wash my hair! And it doesn’t look gross as if I hadn’t washed it. First Class really does clean up the mess that is my hair. I recommend this to anyone and everyone! Well worth the money to me! FIVE STARS YA’LL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray
OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray
This product is super ultra-lightweight that is a combination of dry shampoo and hair spray to help build incredible volume and texture. I absolutely love this product. To start off it smells AMAZING!! It smells florally with notes of Italian bergamot, rose, waterlily, iris, and white musk. I love to use this product after curling my hair as it adds volume and provides a beautiful texturized look. I also love how it doesn’t leave my hair feeling super stiff like hairspray usually feels. I have been using this product for more than a year and I love it and would definitely recommend it to others. This currently retails for $26 on Sephora and it is so worth it!

Best dry shampoo for your scalp!
Best dry shampoo for your scalp!
Briogeo gifted me their scalp line and the dry shampoo really took me by surprise. This unique formula is the first job aerosol Dry shampoo I’ve ever tried, and it also outperformed any other dry shampoo I’ve used. Usually, dry shampoo makes my hair look DIRTIER!! I’ve had bad luck with the traditional ones, Many leave a white cast or just look like build up in my hair. This one actually made my hair look clean and volumized! I love that it contains charcoal to be good for your scalp and is travel friendly too! This is definitely one of my favorite hair finds in 2020 so far 💗

Briogeo scalp revival dry shampoo
Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo The product itself is a fine powder that’s white first, but turns translucent once you rub it into your hair. It doesn’t leave any white cast at all and pretty much just absorbs the oil and makes it look freshly washed. It stays nicely throughout the day and I love that. My problem is the application- the bottle can be kind of messy and the powder went on my clothes a couple of times etc. I get that it’s better for the environment this way, but the powder just falls out sometimes.. I try to not have my clothes for the day on when I do this and it works fine, but I would much prefer it in some kind of more practical bottle.. still love the product itself though!
