Holiday hair kits ✨
Anyone else get super excited when the holiday kits start rolling into stores? Amika gifted me their Brooklyn Hustle Bestsellers kit. This kit includes: Perk Up dry shampoo 5.3 oz (full size) Soulfood nourishing mask 3.3 oz Supernova moisture and shine cream 1 oz The best part about this kit is it’s only $28. The full size Perk Up dry shampoo just by itself is $25. So for $3 more you’re getting a deluxe size of the mask and a mini of the shine cream. The amika: - Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo is my second favorite dry shampoo. This is my favorite to use on day 2 or 3 hair as it absorbs the oils really well and leaves your hair super soft and tousled. Instead of feeling texture that some dry shampoos can have (which I do like for styling) it doesn’t feel like anything is in it. I also don’t notice a white caste when using this which I know can be a deal breaker for a lot of people. It does have that signature Amika smell but I don’t find it over powering. I highly recommend this kit for any dry shampoo fiends out there!!

😱Save my oily hair in one minute!
Once I used this Living proof. - Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, immediately I realized that my day two hair was styling better than my day one hair, even after going to the gym. It absorbs all the excess oils without being clumpy or gummy. No powder residue. It has an incredible fresh scent, don't tell anyone but I have been spraying my hair the first day of styling to get the oil absorption and fresh scent. I now keep a bottle at home and one in my gym bag. No more hair emergencies for me. Will keep purchasing because it works, really well. I have extremely fine, oily hair. I try to only wash my hair every other day and would like to go longer than that, but my hair becomes so greasy I can't hide it in a messy bun any longer. Every dry shampoo I've tried has made my hair feel stiff and somehow even more dirty. They made my hair smell nice but besides that they didn't do anything. This dry shampoo, though, has changed the game for me. You spray in in, wait about 30 seconds, then brush it through your hair with either a brush or your fingers. My hair feels almost like it does after a fresh wash. It seems to clean my hair rather than cover up the gross parts. It gives great volume, and smells amazing. I even woke up the morning after the day I used it, and my hair still didn't seem oily!! I'm incredibly impressed! I'm going to be buying this for years to come! I received it free from Influenster to test it out, but it'll be worth every penny I pay for it from now on!I was always skeptical of dry shampoo as I'm a natural brunette and didn't want it to show. LivingProof PHD dry shampoo alleviated mt skepticism. My hair feels and smells cleaner after apication. It has been a part of my standard hair care products for over a year and I've never had visible residue.
Quick finish for your oily hair!
Never thought That one day I would run out of a bottle of dry spray! After all, I am the person that washes a hair everyday, calculate one day did not give oil, I do not need shampoo to also can use water to rinse hair, because I like the feeling of hair clear and refreshing, once have a bit massiness, oily feeling, I want to wash a hair, get rid of this kind of oily feeling. I've tried a few dry sprays over the years. The first one I used was Batiste's dry sprays, and I didn't think they worked very well. One was because they were smelly, smelly and cheap. And if you spray it close enough, your hair will have a distinct white powder, which looks awkward, so after a few USES it will sit idle, looking for new products. Later, when Sephora was on sale, I saw a blogger recommend thisLiving proof. - Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoofor the right price, so I got it. When I first started using it, probably with Batiste's comparison, I thought it was so good that it saved my oily hair! First of all, its taste is very advanced and fresh, never too heavy, I like the taste very much, after spraying it, the perfume can not be sprayed. Spray close to your hair without leaving embarrassing foams. I often rush out of the house in the morning to make my hair look more fluffy, but I don't have time to wash or blow my hair, so I spray this dry hair spray, wait for 30 seconds, and then rub and shake my hair to get a natural fluffy look. In summer, as long as the occasion is not a lot of sweat, basically can maintain 5-8 hours fluffy feeling, if you want to fill, is also very convenient. Recommend to friends who have the same needs as me!

My post-workout wavy hair routine 🌊
My hair is naturally pretty wavy, a bit frizzy and my scalp tends to get pretty dry during summer! I make it a point not to wash it more than just a few days a week which has been hard ever since I started working out regularly again and sweating SO much (I blame Chloe Ting 😅) but I still don’t like to wash my hair every day or else my scalp is just itchy and flaky and awful. What I’ve been doing to refresh my scalp and revive my waves is immediately go in with a powder (important!) dry shampoo like the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo to soothe my scalp and also soak the sweat, then spraying the lengths of my hair with water and applying some amika: - Curl Corps Enhancing Gel it works great in my opinion! This routine brings my wavy hair back to life and makes it look less stringy and gross, the dry shampoo also adds some volume which I love! This routine’s been working great for me and allows me to go an extra day between hair washing ☺️
5-minute braided updo for short hair 💅🏼
So I don’t like to spend a lot of time on my hair, mostly because I’m not very good at doing my own hair 😅 I like quick, easy ‘dos I can whip up in minutes and this is one of my favorite for when I want to wear my hair up but still look cute! This hairstyle consists of basically three small braids secured to the scalp with Bobby pins, it’s very easy to do and perfect for shoulder length hair or even a bit shorter! I like to start with unwashed hair since it has more “grip” and will add just a bit of my favorite non-aerosol dry shampoo: Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo I love that it makes my scalp feel clean and adds even more texture so it’s easier to work with. You just need to part your hair into three parts like shown in the photos, braid it (you can do French braids or regular braids like I did!) and form 3 small buns with the braids et voilà 👌🏼👩🏻🍳 I know mine looks messy af BUT I don’t like my updos to look ‘too perfect’ specially if I’m braiding my hair since I feel it adds a bit of an ethereal touch lol 👼🏻 and also probably bc I’m traumatized from childhood when my mom used to braid my hair into perfect, pristine little braids 😂 It literally takes me five minutes to style my hair like this and if you add some accessories like pearl hair clips or flowers it looks absolutely adorable!

Dry shampoo battle... who wins?
These are the 2 dry shampoos I have in my collection. I reach for one way more than the other so I just want to go over both of them! OUAI - Super Dry Shampoo This dry shampoo has the typical ouai scent which I do like. It’s an aerosol can like most dry shampoos tend to be. When I spray this, it does give my dark hair chalky roots. Usually I can get it to fade by rubbing it in a little bit. It does an okay job absorbing oil. It works on 2-3 day hair but beyond that it’s useless. I care more about my hair looking good than smelling good so I don’t totally love it. Plus it was pretty pricey overall. It says 4.5oz but it does not seem like that much. I don’t use this often and it’s running very low. Overall I would not purchase again. Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo I actually love this dry shampoo. It’s non aerosol so it’s better for the environment and less harsh on your hair too. You shake the bottle and squeeze it onto your hair. Application can be a bit uneven but the powder is super light so you can fluff it around to cover everywhere. It leaves a big white cast but when you fluff it out, is goes away and leaves your hair looking voluminous. It absorbs oil so well and makes my 5-6 day hair look fresh and clean! The scent is light and fresh too. This is only 1.7 oz but it seems to be lasting forever and I use it multiple times a week tbh! I will probably purchase this again because it works so well for me
First ever non-aerosol dry shampoo.. I’m in love
I can’t believe I never noticed the lack of dry shampoo is in non aerosol cans?! How awful for the environment and for my lungs. I didn’t know how big of a difference a different style packaging, would make! I have been completely converted to this adorable squeeze tube style dry shampoo! The Ouai super dry shampoo: claims to be super absorbent and to instantly soak up oil to revive the scalp. Briogeo scalp revival charcoal + biotin dry shampoo: claims to be a unique charcoal infused dry shampoo that detoxifies, cleanses, and balances the scalp for optimal health. My scalp is extremely dry and itchy ALL THE TIME. My roots still manage to get very oily after a few days and I need a good dry shampoo to rescue me. The thing with dry shampoos is that they can be very drying and leave a lot of build up in your hair, causing itchiness. I have finally met my perfect match, a dry shampoo that does the job but also leaves your scalp more balanced and soothed, hi briogeo! I personally find, that using the ouai dry shampoo, is such a pain! The aerosol can is extremely powerful and deposits way too much product on my roots, leaving a white film. I also find the scent to be overpowering along with the extremely dry finish it leaves on your roots. It’s just too much! Enter the briogeo dry shampoo, with squeeze tube packaging, that makes it so easy to use the perfect amount of product. You squeeze the product “puffing” it directly into your roots. The scent is very subtle and smells like tea tree. It also leaves my hair perfectly clean without the white cast. I honestly only want to recommend the briogeo one, but I know that many people need HEAVY DUTY oil control when they’re reaching for a dry shampoo. In that case, I would recommend the ouai one. Like many beauty items, it comes down to personal preference! Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo OUAI - Super Dry Shampoo

This a dry shampoo trial size i received by @amika and recently finished. I use dry shampoo all the time as I do not wash my hair every day and have quite an oily scalp. Dry shampoos are a really good way to neutralize that oiliness and give my hair a clean look, however this one I felt like I had to spray on alot more than I normally would with my regular dry shampoo, so it ran out much quicker. It worked just as well to get rid of the oily hair look, but again, with use of more product as compared to my other dry shampoo, and so Id have to say I prefer the “less is more” product. Plus at 33$ versus my 12$ drugstore one- its a no brainer! My original dry shampoo is Batiste - Batiste Dry Shampoo which is much cheaper and allows me to use less product, and therefore would last me longer. #cheriepartner
If you are too tired to wash hair, you only need…
Girls with oily hair always expect something to save them from washing hair every single day, including me. Greasy hair is not a good look on anybody, even if they look like Fairy. What makes me frustrated is that a day after washing my hair, my hair falls flat at the roots and looks a little greasy - especially up front. The best way is to wash frequently. But if I washed it more often, it would break off entirely and fall out easily. At first, I always thought dry shampoo just didn’t work that well. But recently I found a kind of stuff named Batiste - Batiste Dry Shampoo. After using this, it actually gives me more than 1 extra day without a washing, and has really saved me when I woke up late. That’s a great convenience for me! It smells wonderful. The scent is pretty mild, like a light baby powder and one can not smell it after a minute. I usually spray a good amount of it to the roots, and let it wait a moment, massage it into my scalp, then comb out with a fine comb. It does have a white powdery effect, so it's best not to spray too close. In minutes, I can see my hairs have a more full look and are pretty clean - not as if I still need them be washed. As mentioned above, you're gonna see some white powder on application. But it does not glue hairs. When I comb my hairs, I do not feel anything unpleasant. And perhaps the hair is less shiny, but it's worth it to me for the trade off of voluminous, presentable, manageable hair in short time. Permanently changing oily hair is not realistic, but transient improvement is no longer a problem. And this Batiste dry shampoo can do! Hope it can help you too.

Believe it or not, I haven't washed my hair in a week...
My hair type is extremely fine and straight. It can also be dry at the ends, but extremely oily at the roots the day after I wash it. I try to go as long as I can without washing it because I like do color on my hair. And I'm always busy on weekdays. TheBatiste - Original Dry Shampoo Clean & Classic is a dream come true for my hair! I haven't washed my hair in a week and this is why. I love the dry shampoo one because it can give my hair some texture and a lot of volume. I always use it when my hair needs washing and I haven't had a chance.(no time or just dyed my hair) It helps decrease the oil and separation. I was able to put a little wave in it, which is hard for me to do. My roots still look very clean! I do not look oily or greasy. Just follow the instruction: spray in, massage, style, and go. It also could take my hair from flat to fab, make my hair feel clean, fresh, with added texture. While this does spray white into the hair, it's a strong & powerful spray and I just leave it for a couple minutes and then disperse the product with fingers and my hair looks freshly washed. In addition, I am very sensitive to overpowering smells and this is not overpowering at all. The smell of the Batiste is very nice. It's clean and not too much sweet or something else. Additional formulated without: parabens, sulfates, aluminum, silicone, and dyes. One thing I will note is that is does leave a residue on the scalp, but it's not very heavy and it doesn't bother me. I found the Batiste Original Dry Shampoo-Clean & Classic to work perfectly for my fine, oily hair. It also has a mini size easy to carry everywhere. Really great price for a really good product. I really love this product. Highly recommended.recommend.
RUSHOWER DRY SHAMPOO
LIGHTWEIGHT This dry shampoo is one of the lightest but most effective I have tried. While Batiste’s dry shampoo range is a favourite to many, starting my cruelty-free journey meant I had to make a switch, and Soap & Glory’s RUSHOWER made that an easy transition. Batiste - Original Dry Shampoo Clean & Classic FRAGRANCE While the scent is hard to describe, the fragrance in this shampoo is light and very pleasant. Soap & Glory call it their ORIGINAL PINK scent, and it stays in my hair for hours after use. LOW PRICE I picked up 200mL of RUSHOWER for $11 AUD, a very comparable price to a bottle of Batiste. Without losing any money, I feel so much better about using a cruelty-free alternative for my hair which is just as (if not more) effective for me. If you’re looking for a switch, I highly recommend this product.

The Best Kept Secret For Thin Hair
The problem with thin hair is that it can be just so difficult to style. Because it is thin, there often isn’t very much to work with - despite never ending backcombing to give it both body and texture. What makes it worse is the fact that thin hair often becomes lank hair due to how greasy it gets. My thin hair gets greasy even though I wash it every day or every other day. I had always believed that one of the best things you can do for thin hair is to wash and condition it with a good quality shampoo that doesn’t strip hair of its necessary oils with harsh chemicals. Instead, a gentle shampoo and conditioner is the way forward. However, I’ve recently been told of a fantastic hack for thin hair that has really slowed down the speed with which my hair gets greasy as well as giving it that much needed volume. I was told to try out a dry shampoo and spray that into my roots. Dry shampoo is no new thing, but I was told to spray it into my roots at night time - not in the morning when I get ready for my day. The results have been fantastic and it has meant I can go longer between actual washes and my hair is consequently a lot less greasy and actually has oomph at the roots. The dry shampoo that I’ve been using is Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo. The largest can, at 400ml lasts for a very long time and will cost around £5. It’s a great product for an impressively low price. There are other fragrances that you can try too if the Blush smell isn’t for you. Plus, the range has also brought out dry shampoos that are better for darker hair as the spray is not as icy white as the regular range. I’ve also used Wella Professionals Dry Me. It’s an ok product. The packaging is a lot sleeker so looks better on my dressing table, but actually in terms of efficacy of making my hair have more volume, I far prefer Batiste. Plus the price difference cannot be debated either. Wella’s Dry Me is far more expensive and no way near as good. It’s around £10 for a 180ml bottle. Finally, if you worry about drying out your hair this way, don’t be. I was a little nervous about how parched my hair could become when using this as I would not be using conditioner quite so much, but I’ve found that my ends are just as healthy as they were before.

IGK; Mini brand review
I did a little mini brand review on The Ordinary and I kind of wanted to start making it a series of brands I’ve tried a lot of. My favorite hair care brand hands down, aesthetically and performance wise, is IGK. This is really just a quick review of all the products. If you have in depth questions please ask 🖤 IGK - First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo - Hands down favorite product by the brand. Completely worth the $27. I can have week old, greasy hair and this turns it into “just washed” looking. I’ve had customers shocked that my hair wasn’t just washed when I use this. But it is a heavy duty dry shampoo. You can definitely feel it in your hair if you run your fingers in but it leaves no white caste once you work it into the hair. IGK - Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Anti-Frizz Smoothing Spray - I don’t heat style my hair without this. It acts as a best protectant, anti-frizz serum, and a smoothing treatment. It smells amazing and leaves my hair so soft and sleek after heat styling. IGK - Mistress Hydrating Hair Balm - it does contain coconut oil so I only use this near my ends. It has a gel balm consistency that doesn’t weigh your hair down or make it feel greasy. If you have dry ends I highly recommend. It adds a lot of hydration back in! IGK - Beach Club Volume Texture Spray - Yes! If you have a hard time getting texture to your hair this product will work great for you. Sometimes I’ll spray some at the roots if I need a little bit of volume or directly into my curls to scrunch them up a little bit. It smells amazing!! Like a beachy dream. It’s not sticky for me but you can definitely go overboard so be aware. IGK - Trust Issues Instant Scalp Rebalancing Treatment - I got this on sale because I suffer from eczema and I can have itchy scalp every once and a while and this really did nothing. I liked the cooling sensation on the scalp but it did nothing to relieve the itch like it claimed. Not worth the sale price none the less $28. IGK - Crybaby Anti-Frizz Smoothing Serum - I got this because DupeThat recommend those and I find myself never using it. It’s just your run of the mill hair serum. I have wavy, thick, and frizzy hair and it did nothing for my frizz. It was just an extra product I added to my routine I didn’t need. The bottle is cute though.. IGK - Laid Back Defrizz and Anti-Static Spray - Also did nothing for my frizz.. I got it at Marshall’s so I’m not mad but they have better products #IGK - Sold Out[products]#[FourStars] - I love using this when I know I’m going to want to wear my natural wavy curls the next day. I spray it on my hair when it’s wet, scrunch it up, and I notice in the morning they are a lot more defined. I don’t think they sell it anymore but if you can find it for a good price and you have natural curls I think it’s worth checking out.

Amazing Dry Shampoo
I remember I was always hesitant to try dry shampoo because I have very oily hair and my hair is really dark black. I used to just think that dry shampoo is probably not gonna work on my hair type. I had tried some random samples that I had got and they just didn’t work out. They would leave white powdery substance behind or they smelled really funky or they just left my hair still oily. I tried OUAI - OUAI x Byredo Super Dry Shampoo Mojave Ghost for the first time 3 years back and this one changed the game. Their dry shampoo smells amazing, works on any hair type and it actually gets rid of the oil. And not only that it lasts long. If I have oily hair and i put it on today i kid you not it last for another 2 days! I’m super lazy when it comes to washing my hair daily and with someone with super oily hair this stuff is bomb 💣 ! This collaboration ouai did with byredo was super exciting bc I know how amazing their perfumes smell and both combined was just magic! I’m literally obsessed with how good this shampoo smells and works!!!! ✨

Dry Bar- Worth the hype? Pt. 2
drybar - Detox Dry Shampoo Lush Scent I had some rewards to spend at Ulta and wanted to try something new, I liked the smell of my other Dry Bar product. I had been to a dry bar “salon” with my sister and thought that the employees there did good work and I thought their products must be great, but I was wrong to think all of that. Pros: This is a dry shampoo, it does take some the oil out of your hair Works best if you allow it to sit overnight Cons: This product is your classic dry shampoo, it leave a white powder in your hair It stinks! I though lush would be their classic scent but it is just completely overpowering I just would not recommend this product, it doesn’t not do enough for a $$ product. Conclusion: Dry Bar is not worth the hype. Better Alternatives: R+Co - Death Valley Dry Shampoo NOT YOUR MOTHER'S - Beach Babe Texturizing Dry Shampoo
Worth the money
I had been using Not your Mothers dry shampoo for years before buying R+Co - Death Valley Dry Shampoo . This was definitely an upgrade. Pros: This is actually a DRY shampoo, it reinvigorates my hair making second day hair feel like it was just washed. The scent of this product is the classic R+CO scent, it smells nice but does not linger. Buildable coverage is easily achieved by sectioning and spraying between the sections at the roots. Definitely a well made product that will last This product is definitely worth the price Cons: This is a dry shampoo that is to be left in before bed, it works when first sprayed, no need to let it absorb oils overnight. It’s hard to control where the aerosol sprays, as it is not very easily directed. This product is expensive! But it will last you a while.
How to: Properly Use Dry Shampoo
We’ve all been there- you’re running late, spray your dry shampoo and OMG I LOOK LIKE A GRANDMA!!! If you, like many of us, hate the powdery look that dry shampoo can leave behind- start applying it at night! As part of my night routine, I use my dry shampoo. This helps give your shampoo time to absorb all those pesky oils over night- and best part, there is no more white residue!!! Give it a try! My favorite dry shampoo is Deep Clean by Redken. I recommend this dry shampoo if you have very thick hair, or their Invisible Dry Shampoo if your hair is finer. Enjoy!REDKEN - Deep Clean Dry Shampoo
REDKEN-Deep Clean Dry Shampoo
Powder Dry Shampoo Will Change Your Life
I’m not kidding... Plus by not using an aerosol spray, you’re helping the environment 😘 My hair type is dry, thick, heavy, curly, medium length. Any questions??? 😂 I typically only need to wash my hair 1-2 times a week, but if I don’t have time to wash my hair and my roots look oily, I grab one of these and go. OH, also, my hair is BROWN. Neither of these powders leave a “white cast” (powder cast?) on my roots. Charcoal is also a key ingredient in both of these products, as it absorbs excess oils from your scalp and hair, letting your scalp breathe! Here are my go-to dry shampoo powders: Redken Dry Shampoo Powder 02: REDKEN - Dry Shampoo Powder 02 With Charcoal my hairstylist introduced this to me last year (YEAH, I’ve had this for over a year now and I’m only halfway through it) and I can safely say it’s one of my favorite haircare products. You get 2.1oz of powder for $20, which I think is a great deal considering I have owned this for over a year and I’m only halfway through it. My only complaints are: 1) it’s not cruelty free and 2) it doesn’t have a fun applicator—you just have to dispense it onto your hand and work it through your roots. I usually do this a few times, working one section of scalp at a time. The powder absorbs all the oil almost instantly, making me look shine-free without any stickiness or crunch like with traditional dry shampoos. Also, this one doesn’t have any fragrance added—WOOHOO! I’m rating it 4/5 based on my experience. It’s available for purchase at Ulta stores. Briogeo Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo this product is FREAKING COOL OK. It’s basically the same as the Redken version, except it as an aerosol-free “puff” spray applicator. It uses air to puff the product onto your hair. I’ll admit, it did take a few tries to get my aim right with this, but it’s so much easier to apply than the Redken version. Plus, it has biotin and is cruelty free. My only gripe with this is that it’s FRAGRANT. Like, weird perfume-y fragrance that might irritate my scalp. Also, it’s a bit pricier than the Redken product, coming in at $24 for 1.7oz. I think I still prefer the Redken product but this one still ranks high in my books! 4/5. It’s available for purchase at Sephora. Have you ever tried a dry shampoo powder? #CheriePartner

Do you know that different dry shampoo works different on brown hair, blond hair or dark hair? Do you notice that some dry shampoo actually turn your hair white? There is a big difference when you are using a dry shampoo. I personally have dark hair and I found many dry shampoo either ended up by turning my hair white or leaving those white dots all over my root that looks like I had a bad dandruff. Batiste - Waterless Cleansing Foam: Cleanse + Hydrate This one is a dry shampoo foam. Although I only try it once since last week I first got it, I am already absolutely obsessed with it. And Im pretty sure that I will be using it instead of all my other dry shampoos. We use dry shampoo when our hair is really oily and we don’t have time to wash it. Especially in a rush morning and you have to go out and meet someone. You may need a dry shampoo to quickly remove the oil and possibly cover the smell. What you gonna do is to shake it vigorously and spray generous amount on root throughout the hair if needed. Then you can just use fingers to brush through your hair. Massage and brush through to refresh your hair. One thing I really like about this product is that it almost have no scent to that which I really enjoy. There was a time once I got a powder spray shampoo from drugstore with floral scent. The smell was supper strong. And when it got mixed with the smell of oily hair, urrr, you can imagine what it smells like. This foam dry shampoo didn’t leave a residue and works really well on absorbing the oils. And it does add a little bit volume as well. Overall this is my first try out of foam dry shampoo. Let me know how you like it!

Are Dry Shampoos Worth It?
Hi everyone, So I previously mentioned that a great way to care for thin and curly hair is to use dry shampoos more often. But I do feel that I need to dive in deeper as to the reasons for that. The picture above is the current dry shampoo that I’m using, but I will provide in the near future a post about a few that have worked for me, so stay tuned! Dry shampoos allows you to wash your hair LESS often! Washing your hair constantly with water and shampoo dries and can damage your hair by stripping away your hair’s essential oils and moisture. Thus, diminishing that washing process protects you from damaging your hair and, by using a dry shampoo, you will be able to get rid of the EXCESS oil ONLY, instead of ALL ESSENTIAL oils. Dry shampoos are also time-saving! Not only do you have to wash your hair less, but the process of using it is very simple. You just make sure that you’re holding the bottle a few inches away from your hair and then you spray it evenly, especially in the roots (or scalp). However, you have to let the product SIT in your hair for a couple of minutes to do its work BEFORE distributing it evenly and then styling on your hair. I personally like to spray it onto my hair and distributing it evenly before going to bed so that I can just focus on styling it the next day. Dry shampoos ADD VOLUME! This is also super amazing, you can lift your hair once again without even having to WET it! If you tend to dye your hair, then dry shampoos help with maintaining your HUE! By diminishing the washing process, that means that your hair color will take LONGER for it to dissipate and that you will need LESS color treatments to maintain the dye. Dry shampoos also have pretty great scents! I know that many who wash their hair more often tend to do it because they sweat a lot and the hair also accumulates the smell. With dry shampoos, you won’t have to worry about that because you’re cleaning your hair and they also have strong scents. Hope that you try these and notice a huge and positive difference in your hair!

Amika dry shampoo DUPE!
HASK - Chia Seed Volumizing Dry Shampoo This dry shampoo has been an absolute life-saver this summer. It's been incredibly humid and my hair gets very oily very quickly. To preserve the color of my hair, I try not to wash it TOO often, so dry shampoo is basically my BFF. Because I use it so often, I wanted to find a brand that was inexpensive so that I could keep up with buying cans and not go broke. Randomly, I picked up this Hask dry shampoo, and OMG, it's my new favorite! I typically apply my dry shampoo before bed so even with the little white cast that is left after application, it's always gone by the time I wake up. With this dry shampoo, it very quickly soaks up and disguises the look of oil without me having to use the entire can (or so it feels with other dry shampoos!). For being so affordable, I'm surprised by how well it works. Before this one, the amika Dry Shampoo was my go-to, but the cans are expensive. I'd say this is just about a DUPE for the amika!! For applying, I typically spray some on, let it sit for 15-20 seconds, and then rustle it around with my hands. This option is also quite volumizing which my flat third-day hair LOVES!! Plus, the smell is 10/10. It's soft enough that it doesn't smell up the house, but strong enough to disguise that third-day hair lingering smell.
