If you haven’t used number 3 yet go buy it... yes it expensive for tiny bottle but worth it. Lately I actually been loving the new no. 0 with using 3 after. The holy grail for perfect hair!!!
I have level 2 (almost black) THICK hair and decided to go to platinum blonde. As you can imagine, my hair was horribly dried out, frizzy and out of control. Then I tried: OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector OLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo OLAPLEX - No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme My hair was never even this healthy before the bleach!!! I’m so blown away by these products!! It’s like colour has never even touched my hair. Because my hair is so thick and so bleached, I actually wet my hair a bit, and leave the No. 3 in for about a hour before I have a shower. You don’t have to, it actually says you only need 10m. But I’ve found superior results by leaving it on longer. After about a month with these products, I decided to give OLAPLEX - No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment Kit a try. Honestly, it feels great and nourishing. But I didn’t notice too much of a difference using this in addition to the other 4 products. My hair was great, but it’s great while just using the no. 3,4,5 and 6. Don’t even get me started on OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil I wrote a whole review on this alone, not worth the money at all. Basically, give No. 3,4,5,6 a try. But you can definitely skip the other 2.

New Buys and Rebuys
I did a mini skincare and haircare haul and I’m excited to get into my new products! I had already used the mini versions of the fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner and PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator and love the way my skin feels when I use them, so I decided to rebuy in full sizes. The exfoliant has been helping with my skin’s texture and pores, while the toner makes my skin feel smooth and luxurious, which just what I need as the weather gets colder. My thin hair has been looking pretty dull and stringy the past few months, so I decided to try out the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampooto help with buildup, as I’ve heard really good things about this scrub. I also wanted to try out The Ordinary - Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Densityto see if it would help my hair look thicker and fuller. Excited to start using these! #cheriepartner

Extra Dry Skin/Scalp Products!!
*DISCLAIMER: Everyone's skin is different and not all products work the same for everyone* I suffer from extremely dry skin due to a rare autoimmune disease which causes a lupus butterfly eash across my face, extremely dry itchy/flakey scalp, dry itchy patches all across my body, and muscle atrophy. That being said, these products have seriously saved my skin and hopefully if you suffer from dry skin they will save yours too: Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo I've been using this for 2 months now and after the second use I knew this was something I needed for the rest of my life! My scalp was so dry, tight, and flakey that i couldnt use a blow dryer and was too afraid put my hair up for fear of pain and people seeing flakes all over my shirt. I use this only on my scalp and make sure to target the flakey patches. I leave it on for about 3-5 mimin and rinse. Wild Naturals Eczema and Psoriasis Conditioner with Aloe Vera, Manuka Honey, and Vitamin B5 I found this conditioner when I first began my dry scalp journey and had a bunch of dermatologists tell me it was just eczema. It's available on Amazon and it perfectly moisturizes my scalp without making it greasy, while also leaving my hair soooper soft. I massage and leave this on my scalp for about 5 min. CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser This one is a no-brainer. If you have dry skin and are on a budget, this is the cleanser for you. Doesn't dry you out or leave a gross residue behind. 'Nuff said. CVS Health Intense Relief Hand Cream This one's weird, but a must for cracked and dry skin. Moisturizes and dries pretty fast without leaving a greasy feel. I use it all over on my dry patches and it does the job better than any lotion I've ever used. Unless you live in the DMV, these last two are only accessible online as they are products at a Bee Store my mom works at. SweetSophia Creamy Sugar Scrub in Honeypot I'm super picky about sugar scrubs, they tend to be goopy, soft, and not exfoliating at all. In the past I have opted for a salt as they tend to be more course. Now that I have dry skin, I can't use salt anymore. Enter the Sweet Sophia sugar scrub. The consistency of this is more like a hard paste with large sugar crystals. You can use it on wet skin and it not be harsh, but i prefer to rub my dry body down with it prior to getting wet as I see the most results with dead skin removal this way. My mom also tried to make it smell like the Lush Scrubee, so it has a sweet honey toffee scent to it! SweetSophia Emu Healing Balm I use this on super dry skin as an ointment. This is pretty oily, but seriously gets the job done. I usually slap this on if I know I'm taking a shower later that day or at night right before bed so it has time to absorb. These are my holy grail products, but I'm always open for suggestions, as well as questions! My next quest is to find a product that stops my hair from falling out. Will update!

My acne journey through birth control
In my first pic that was my face before I started birth control, pretty clear, occasional pimple here and there. But then i started the pill for my terrible periods and i started breaking out like crazy. Bumps all over my forehead and chin as you can see in the second and third pic. I’ve started to update skin routine a little and the 4th pic is where i’m at now. any tips anyone has would be great! this is my skin care routine now AM CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser i started using this and i think it helped my bumps a lot. I have seen some improvement. HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Spray i like this product i think it helps hydrate my skin. It also helped with my oily skin too. When i run out of the spray i’m going to use the HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Facial Toner for the hyaluronic acid. so if anyone has any experience with this product let me know! THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream Helps with my puffy eyes! Seen some improvement with my eye bags over time! CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This is a basic moisturizer and i like it. i have oily skin and i like how lightweight it is. I also like the added ceramides for my skin barrier. PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ PURITO - Comfy Water Sun Block i think the green level sun screen makes me pretty greasy. The comfy water sunblock is way better for my oily skin, i just have to rub it in longer since it is a mineral sunscreen. PM - Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil i like this cleansing oil it gets off my sunscreen and mascara well. it doesn’t leave a greasy residue when i wash it off either. I love to try new products lol so when i finish this i might try THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm or BIODERMA - Atoderm Shower Oil(i know this says shower oil but on amazon it says cleansing oil, shower oil, many purposes and the reviews say it takes their makeup and sunscreen off really well) so once again if anyone has used these products let me know how they were! CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Pretty basic i like it. Really no complaints or anything that sticks out about this product that i LOVE LOVE. When i finish this i might try LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming CleanserLet me know if anyone has used this and their experience with it! Nizoral - Anti Dandruff Shampoo i use this as a face mask for about 5 mins. i don’t use this every night, i maybe use this 2-3 times a night. Kinda burns but i feel it works DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel really just did not work on my skin, i haven’t seen much improvement because of this. i’ve been using this for 2 months THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin

please help me fix my skin routine!
Hi everyone so i recently got into skincare and protecting my skin. My goal is to make it healthy and glowy. So I used to use cerave hydrating cleanser but it caused so many breakouts as you can see in the pictures. Just barely yesterday I switched to this new foam one. I also bought some ordinary stuff which I know I can only use the red one once a week for 10 mins. I also have small bumps on my forehead and heard that dandruff shampoo helps. But will this routine help my breakouts that I have now or what should I incorporate or change? Any suggestions will help, thank you! 💓 I also have oily skin.

💕 amika: - Reset Charcoal Detoxifying Scalp Cleansing Oil Reset Charcoal Detoxifying Scalp Cleansing Oil- Love this product for a weekly double cleanse to get rid of build up in the scalp. It has Pink Clay and charcoal to help purify and has sea buckthorn to help replenish the scalp. 💕 amika: - Reset Exfoliating Jelly Shampoo Reset Exfoliating Jelly Scalp Scrub- Is a great exfoliator!! It has ingredients such as sea salt, pink clay and charcoal to exfoliate and purify the scalp. The sea salt feels nice on the scalp as it doesn’t scratch and irritate it. Helps with flaky scalp and works great with the oil cleanser to help get a deep cleanse. 💕 After using both products together, my scalp feels so refreshed and regenerated!

Scalp scrubs for flakey scalps?
So I have scalp psoriasis, diagnosed by a dermatologist. This means I frequently have a flake scalp and sometimes the flares are really bad. I’ve tried almost every product under the sun but unfortunately there’s no “cure” for psoriasis, just products that help you manage the symptoms. I thought it would be a great idea to try a scalp scrub to help slough off the flaky and scalp spots so I’ve used a couple. Initially I thought scalp scrubs were cool, something new and exciting to try but the more I use them the less impressed I am. First of all, no matter how hard I try I feel like the scrub never actually gets on my scalp, it just gets caught in all the hair. Second I feel like scrubbing at my “scalp” which is really just the base of my hair, that it’s just too abrasive on the tiny baby hairs, I feel like it makes them frizzy, and in some cases probably breaks hair too. In the end I just feel this product is ineffective and probably does more damage to the hair shaft than it benefits the scalp unfortunately. I will definitely forgo scalp scrubs in the future! If you really want something to exfoliate the scalp I recommend a scalp scrubber. You can get cheap ones on amazon that feel way more gentle and effective in cleaning the scalp!

PRODUCTS THAT HELPED WITH HAIR LOSS!
Hair loss can be an incredibly painful experience. It’s embarrassing and exhausting trying to hide. Most times whatever I did to hide it caused more damage. It’s so easy not to feel beautiful when you fall outside of the traditional standards of beauty. In my personal experience I felt like no one else I knew was going through the same thing I was and I just wanted my hair to grow like everyone else. I tried so many products and would get my hopes up when I saw some progress only to be devastated again and again. My hair loss is a direct result of stress and would happen around big deadlines or when something big was happening in my life which would create even more stress! I have very dry hair brittle hair, that doesn’t do well when it is out in its natural state and requires a lot of maintenance. 2 products I use in addition using ogx - Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo ogx - Coconut Miracle Oil Conditioner TROPIC ISLE LIVING - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Hair Therapy deep conditioning once a month, keeping my hair in protective styles like braids and wearing satin bonnets to sleep are Women’s Rogaine and Hairfinity vitamins. Rogaine - 5% Minoxidil Foam for Hair Regrowth - this is a clear watery liquid. You are to apply to the area of your scalp that you experiencing hair loss twice a day. It comes with a dropper so it’s easy to be precise about where you are placing the product. I have hair loss along my hairline so I apply the product and then Pat it into my hair to prevent it from dripping. It can get a bit sticky on your hands. This is not a product that works overnight so you have to be patient but it can have amazing results with continued use. #Hairfinity - Healthy Hair Vitamins[products]#[FiveStars] - LOVE THIS PRODUCT! This produces speedy results! Your results are based on how fast your hair grows and they may not be the same for everyone but in 3 weeks to a month of taking these pills I started seeing my bald patches starting to darken and I feel like my hair was growing at a faster rate. I started using this product first so I have seen the results of this on its own and they are amazing! My stress induced hair loss happens at the top of my head and Hairfinity helped my hair regrow in this area pretty quickly but the thin areas around my hairline still needed extra help and that’s why I started using Rogaine. This is something I wouldn’t talk about for a long time but once I realized it happens to more people than I thought I decided started to feel less embarrassed about something that is of my control. #CherieCreator

HOW TO SLEEP WITH & TREAT SUPER DRY HAIR!
My natural hair is longer than it has ever been. I have struggled with hair loss over the years but I’ve finally found a system that works for me. Washing & Conditioning: Once a month or each time I take out my protective styles I deep condition my hair with Salon Care cholesterol Cream Conditioner. I take the cream and fully saturate my hair and scalp with the product, cover my hair with a disposable plastic cap and put my heating cap on for 30 mins and wash my hair. Cholesterol is great for adding moisture to dry damaged hair. I use ogx - Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo & ogx - Coconut Miracle Oil Conditioner . These products are amazing! They smell great and add much needed moisture to my hair leaving it looking shiny and healthy. Hydration: I add castor oil to my scalp every day and put it on my hands when I am twisting my hair for bed to add moisture and shine to my hair. I apply it from roots to ends of my hair about once a week or when I notice my hair starting to get dry. Castor oil promotes hair growth, repairs split ends, controls hair loss and helps to thicken hair. Sleep: When I am wearing my natural hair I will twist my hair before bed about 2 times during the week. When I twist my hair i wear a head scarf to protect my hair and keep everything in place. In the morning I will untwist my hair, separate the strands and use a wide tooth comb to fluff the roots. On nights after my initial twist out I will put my hair (untwisted) in my Grace Eleyae Satin Lined Cap. This protects my hair from friction when I sleep and helps my Hair retain moisture and shine. I also use a satin pillow case in case my scare or cap slips off while I am sleeping so that my hair is protected for friction damage. I use the one from Organic Olive Oil Root Stimulater. Protective Styles: This has really helped my hair to grow. I don’t keep my natural hair out for extended periods of time. I am also straying away from wigs because they can take moisture from your hair and the friction between the wig and your hair can cause breakage. When I get my hair braided it usually lasts 1-3 months depending on the style. Cornrow styles last about a month and box braids and twist last closet to 3. When my hair is in braids I put castor oil on my scalp every day or when my scalp feels dry. #CherieCreator

💕 Double Cleanse your Scalp.
Amika giftedme this adorable set which includes 3 new products from their Reset line: a Cleansing Oil, Shampoo, and Conditioner. The Cleansing Oil is meant to act as a 1st cleanse for your scalp and what a genius idea this is! I mean, we all double cleanse our face (well, I hope anyway 🤭) so, why not do the same for your hair, right? I love the applicator nozzle on this. It helps to apply the product directly onto my dry scalp before I hop into the shower. After I massage and rinse the oil out, I follow up with the Shampoo which has, such a fun gel texture! This product cleanses my hair really well but without feeling stripped. And lastly, I go in with the Cooling Gel Conditioner. This also has a fun, bouncy, mousse texture and I love how cool, refreshing, and hydrating it leaves my hair feeling. I know they are not recommended for color treated hair. But, have you tried this set yet? What's your favorite product you've tried from @amika so far? Oh and happy almost Valentine's day, my loves!! Life has been extremely hectic & exhausting 😪 in our household because we started our renovations process earlier this week 🤪 but, hubsters said he made dinner reservations for Friday so, I'm really, really looking forward to that! 💕

Amik Reset line
This is my first time trying shampoo and conditioner (as well as an oil cleanser) from @amika and I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised! The reset line is supposed to deep clean the hair by removing all the products (mouses, oils, dry shampoos) and dirt from it. These products are supposed to be used once a week to reset your hair, but if you have very oily hair, you can use it as you see fit. Personally, I use it about 2/3 times a week, because my hair can get oily pretty quick. . The shampoo smells super clean and a bit of peppermint. Foams up easily and leaves the hair feeling refreshed and clean, but not too clean. The conditioner is creamy, but very light and not at all heavy. It also smells a little it of peppermint. As far as oil cleanser, I am still not 100% sure if it works for me. I’ve tried to use a little bit of it, then a lot, and in both cases I don’t feel it do anything for my hair or scalp. If you’ve used it and liked it, let me know how you use it! . Personally, I’m very happy with this line. I love how the shampoo and conditioner duo leaves my hair feeling. Each time I use them, it’s like a fresh start for my hair. I think this line is amazing for people who have oily hair, or use a lot of products in their hair. This does an amazing job at deep cleaning and refreshing the hair. stinky scalp🤢? try this!
nothing is more embarrassing than cuddling with your boyfriend, your head on his chest, and you hear him say, “I don’t mean to offend you... but your hair smells.” I know... because it happened to me!! I switched shampoo and conditioner countless times, and nothing seemed to work. I wondered what I could possibly have been doing wrong; I wash my hair all the time! how could it smell?? I then hopped onto the internet and found out the most common reasons for a smelly scalp: over-washing, not washing enough, residue from your hair products, and something called Smelly Hair Syndrome, which is when your scalp’s oil glands go into hyperdrive and secrete far more oil and sweat than they should. now if you think you have Smelly Hair Syndrome and it seems severe (accompanied by itching or pain) you should see a dermatologist. however, if any of the other causes sound like you, I have found just the product that should help you out. Neutrogena - Anti-Residue Gentle Clarifying Shampoo meet what might be the best product I have ever tried from Neutrogena, their Anti-Residue shampoo. using it once a week helps remove any out-of-the-ordinary scalp odours also leaving your hair feeling cleaner than ever before. the smell is not my personal favourite, so I always follow up with my own shampoo and conditioner. good luck and I hope this helps someone and their stinky scalp woes!

Dupe or don't🤔I tried this drugstore shampoo for my oily hair and it turned out...
Well, I've tried both expensive and affordable shampoos for my oily hair, and here're my thoughts.  Moroccanoil Extra Volume Shampoo $26 You know that most volumizing shampoos can be a bit harsh on hair, but this one can nourish and moisturize your hair while still providing that deep cleanse. It contains argan oils and linden bud extracts to soothe your scalp. Moreover, it's color-safe and sulfate-free! I'd say I love this product, but the only downside is its price! Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo $6 I bought this one in a nearby drugstore, which only cost about $6. This product claims that it can remove up to 90% of impurities. I feel so clean after washing my hair, so I'd say if you only consider cleansing, then it's a perfect dupe for Moroccanoil! However, this clarifying shampoo can be a bit dry as this one contains sulfate. Therefore, my advice is only to use it once a week and using a hydrating conditioner at the same time.  What's your favorite shampoo? It's your turn to share!

Clarifying Shampoo Superlatives
KRISTIN ESS - Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo Bumble and bumble. - Sunday Clarifying Shampoo Christophe Robin - Cleansing Purifying Scrub With Sea Salt BEST SCENT – Kristin Ess Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo This is a gel-formula shampoo which is targeted to clarify hair + scalp. This product is meant to be used about once a week to detox the scalp of any excessive product build up. It wins the best scent award because the fragrance on this shampoo is unreal. It is KE’s signature Translucent scent paired with fresh apples, you need to smell it for yourself. The product itself does exactly what it claims to do and leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean (just how I like it). As a girl with very oily hair, clarifying shampoos are a must, and at only $12 for 10 oz., I think this product is a steal! BEST OG – Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo This is similar to the KE shampoo in almost all ways except for 2 critical components: scent and price. This shampoo doesn’t have a pleasant scent, but its not unpleasant either. It smells kind of chemical-like, but not in the worst way (hard to describe, but it doesn’t linger in your hair at all). Secondly, this shampoo is $26 for 8 oz., which is not terrible for a shampoo that will last you forever (since you’re only meant to use it about once a week), but after the KE release, I will definitely be purchasing that one before any others because of efficacy and price. This one was my HG clarifying shampoo for years though, and I still highly recommend it – just make sure it doesn’t get in your mouth at all because you will regret it, haha. BEST EXFOLIANT – Christophe Robin Purifying Scalp Scrub with Sea Salt I place this under the clarifying category because in my experience, it does the same thing as others, with the added benefit of exfoliation. Scalp exfoliation is something that I find completely necessary, and this is a great way to exfoliate and clarify at the same time. This one also has a really good fresh scent and I find that it leaves my hair very clean and shiny. The only downside is the price, at $53 for 8.7 oz.

Oily hair miracle
Bumble and bumble. - Sunday Clarifying Shampoo As a girl with oily hair, I usually have to use dry shampoo daily to keep my hair looking clean and fresh. That can tend to cause some product buildup on my scalp, so I was searching for the perfect clarifying shampoo to take care of that. A friend recommended the Sunday Shampoo by bumble and bumble and at first, I was hesitant because $26 for shampoo seemed a bit steep to me. But, after a bout with especially oily hair, I decided to take the plunge, and I couldn’t be happier that I did. This is currently my third bottle of this shampoo. I use it once a week — I stick to Sundays in honor of the shampoo’s name — and it allows me to start the week with a clean scalp slate. It has a gel consistency that lathers like crazy! It has a typical clean scent, but nothing overpowering, in my opinion. I am beyond ecstatic to have found a product that really works for me. I rate it 5/5 starts and high recommend to anyone looking for an oily hair miracle.

Shampoo for long and/or wavy/curly hair
I wanted to share my favorite shampoos for medium and long hair as well as wavy and curly hair. Here we go: davines - Love Curl Shampoo - smells so good, smooths out hair a lot, minimizes frizz and tangles, and doesn't feel super tacky like some other shampoos out there. davines - Melu Shampoo - it's for long hair and I find it makes my hair less prone to breaking or getting tangled as well as making it softer. It smells super good too. ogx - Quenching Coconut Curls Shampoo - this shampoo makes my hair so smooth and soft and smells so good! It's as nourishing as a conditioner and it really exaggerates the curls and waves in your hair. sun bum - Revitalizing Shampoo - first of all, it smells like bananas and second of all it leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh. It also makes my hair softer, it doesn't feel tacky or gross, and it exaggerates curls and waves as well. Well that's all for my favorite shampoos and I hope people have tried them out or have opinions on them since I'm curious to see what other people think. :)

My secrets for medium width hair
Hair width shows the thickness of the strands of the hair. it is very easy to determine hair width. You can take one piece of the hair from a brush and see it under the light. If the hair could be seen easily and looks wide, it is coarse hair. if you cannot see your hair clearly, it is fine hair. between coarse hair and fine hair is medium width hair. the strands of coarse hair are very wide, and it is the strongest hair among all hair types. Fine hair has a very small width, which means it is delicate. Medium hair is not very thick or thin. It is strong and elastic.   I have medium width hair. it is the most common hair type and can cover scalp well. It can be controlled easily. The hair type looks thick and is not easily get damaged. To maintain the shine and health of medium width hair, there are few tips. One is limit heat styling. Always use heat styling tool can reduce the moisture of the hair and make hair drier and less manageable. The second tip is to apply a high-quality shampoo that can bring nutrition to the hair.   I recommend one good shampoo, Ogx’s Quenching Coconut Curls Shampoo. I like this one because it contains natural ingredients, including coconut oil, honey and citrus oil. It feels really moisturizing after washing. The shampoo gets the hair clean and leaves it soft. It makes my hair to be less tangled and very shiny, bouncy and voluminous. My hair is hydrated and never feel dry after washing, and never feel oily or greasy. I use it with the conditioner. Both work well with each other to make my hair silky soft.   Last but not least, when washing the hair, remember do not use very hot water. Using hot water may harm the hair and reduce the moisture of the hair.

Drunk elephants hair line
I finally got to try some of drunk elephants hair line, and unfortunately I was not impressed. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Cocomino Glossing Shampoo it has a VERY light scent. Which for me is the first strike. There’s nothing better than clean hair that smells good! Second it was difficult to work through hair. I felt like I had to use a lot of product to get my entire scalp clean. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Cocomino Marula Cream Conditioner some of the same points that I mentioned with the shampoo for this one. Scent is too light for me. I had to use almost this entire sample to feel like my hair was coated in conditioner. My hair didn’t feel silky, soft or moisturized well after using this. Overall I love Drunk Elephant for most things but I just think they should stick to skincare, they’re very good at skincare! Missed the mark for me for these hair products.

Briogeo hair mask and scalp revival shampoo
Briogeo hair mask and scalp revival shampoo
Another haircare duo that I’ve been using lately. My hair has been so happy with all these amazing products I’ve been using on it! These two are the @briogeo ‘s scalp revival shampoo and don’t despair repair conditioning mask. First off, the shampoo; I’m absolutely in love with it! It leaves my hair, and especially my scalp feeling super refreshed and clean. Surprisingly, it also leave it feeling hydrated. After I leave the shower and dry my hair, there’s a faint, clean, tea tree smell coming from them, which is a plus for me. The conditioning mask is just as good if not better. The texture is very jelly, but also creamy at the same time. Easy to spread around the hair, and I can instantly feel my hair soaking in all the oils and vitamins from the mask. As soon as I wash it off, my hair feels soft, velvety and weightless. Very happy with both of these products! They are minis that are currently birthday gift in Sephora, but thankfully I already have a full size of the shampoo. Definitely have to get my hands on the full size of the mask!

OUAI SCALP AND BODY SCRUB
I recieved a mini of this in an Allure box, and I was thrilled because I’ve heard GREAT things about this. The only other scalp scrub I have tried is the Briogeo charcoal one, and I hated how it completely changed the texture of my hair after I used it. (If you are curious, I used both the charcoal scrub and the conditioner, and both made my hair so sticky and dry...maybe it’s a curly hair issue.😕) This scrub contains coconut oil, sugar crystals, and probiotics to exfoliate the scalp while balancing your skin’s natural oils to avoid drying it out. It definitely gets rid of grime and buildup on my scalp, and I LOVE that it still leaves my hair soft and silky! I have a particularly dry patch right on the crown of my head, and I notice a big difference when I focus this on that area. • OUAI - Scalp & Body Scrub

Let’s talk HAIR CARE!
Let’s talk HAIR CARE!
I have been dying my hair since I was five years old, believe it or not! My natural hair is brunette and I’ve actually never seen my whole head that color. Since I’ve basically been dying my hair my whole life I’ve learned a thing or two about how to keep it healthy and happy! Depending on if you are just getting highlights or bleaching your entire head. (I’ve done both btw) there are different ways to treat it! For Bleach Blonde’s: Olaplex is your saving grace now, you live, breathe, olaplex! Apply this hair mask conditioner at least 2x a week depending on how damaged your hair is. I would also recommend a purple shampoo so your hair doesn’t get brassy and orange. I love this one REDKEN - Color Extend Blondage Color Depositing Purple Shampoo but dpHUE - Cool Blonde Shampoo also has an amazing one. For Highlighted Blonde’s: my favorite hair mask to use rn is the drybar - Blonde Ale Color-Enhancing Brightening Hair Mask . Since this color corrects I only use my purple shampoo 1-2x a week and my normal shampoo form prose - Prose Shampoo . I also air dry my hair majority of the time and never curl or straighten it unless it’s for a special occasion. So my hair has stayed pretty healthy! If you guys would like more hair tips let me know! Also if anyone has any styling tips for short hair comment below, I just chopped it on Tuesday!

This Ouai smooth set has its nique technology complex targeting damaged hair. It works to calm frizz, cleanses strands and replenishes moisture to your hair. It has a nice salon scent. It is not cheap but a little goes a long way. It doesnt strip or leaves the dry feeling. My hair feels healthy plus gets a tonne of volume after a few washes. It is hydrating and keeps my hair frizz free. My hair feel so soft and smooth after using this series for 1 month. It is safe for colored hair as well. OUAI - Smooth Shampoo OUAI - Smooth Conditioner The blend of ingredients in this whole line works to produce a light, fresh fragrance. Free from sulfates, parabens and dyes. This shampoo set is designed for damaged hair and nourishes your strands from root to tip. This product is amazing. It is salon quality and it smells amazing. If you are looking for that salon feeling at home. This is definitely the product that you want to try out. It is retails for $34 dollars at Sephora. It is a little bit pricy. BUT it does a phenomenal job of exfoliating the scalp and removing all the chemical and physical product build up. If you normally put a lot of products on your hair, I strongly recommend using an exfoliating shampoo. The blend of ingredients in this whole line works to produce a light, fresh fragrance. If you haven’t checked out their product, I strongly recommend you girls give it a try. I know it is on the pricier side, but it is definitely worth trying. When you actually try it on for a few weeks, you would agree that it worths every penny.

Prose Hair Care: First Impressions
Prose Hair Care: First Impressions
This is my first time using Prose and after one wash my hair and scalp feel great! I normally don’t spend much money on shampoo, conditioner, and other hair products. I’m always on a budget and do very minimal styling to my hair each day. Buying from Prose was a BIG splurge for me, all three of my products cast about $80 😬 But I can say that it was money well spent. Much like my skin, my scalp is usually dry and flaky, and finding products that smooth without buildup or weighting my hair down is tricky. With the consultation survey I took on the Prose website, my concerns and goals for my hair were identified pretty accurately. It even uses your zip code factor UV, humidity, and air quality of your area! I was impressed with the survey, and when my order arrived I was super excited for my next hair wash. I chose their new spring scent Prelude, it’s a nice subtle floral smell without being too overpowering. My three products I purchased were the pre-shampoo scalp mask, shampoo, and conditioner. Each one comes with its own instructions detailing how much to use and how long to let it sit in your hair. Overall I am impressed with Prose after my first use. I wash my hair every 2-3 days so it’ll be a few more weeks before I decide wether to re-order or not. Excited to continue using Prose! 🚿🧼😊

My hair care routine
My hair care routine
Hey guys welcome to my hair routine for my pinky pink hair!!! This is me looking good with my pink hair at its peak before I had roots :,(. I try to keep my hair very healthy generally but if I feel like it’s being especially weak or dry I’ll go in with olaplex before shampoo. Olaplex is a bonds builder you use before your shampoo, and it basically reinforces the bonds of your hair! It’s a bit pricey so I don’t use it often as 1 bottle runs for around 15, and I use 1 bottle per use (long hair tingz). OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector First we’re gonna start off with this shampoo from L’Oréal. I like it so far because it does a pretty good job at keeping the colour in, and I really like the smell! I’ve been using it since March since my old shampoo was really expensive (I’m not out here trynna pay 20 bucks for shampoo consistently). L'ORÉAL - Elvive Color Vibrancy Protecting Shampoo I like to use it with this head massager brush I got from amazon because it helps reduce the oil on your scalp because I wash my hair every 2-3 days (But, I started doing this thing called cowashing though where you basically only condition when you wash your hair and I like it a lot). Basically when you lather your shampoo on you’re going to massage it in with this brush for around 15 seconds, leaving your hair to be really well washed at the top (which is what we want when we shampoo) Shampoo twice as usual and we’re moving on to conditioner. So my trick to maintaining healthy bleached hair is using a hair mask as a conditioner. These are the two I’m using right now: L’Oréal Mega Moisture Fructose Garnier one minute hair mask I mixed in my dye with these in a 7:3 ratio (I dyed using a 8:2 ratio I just made it a bit more pigmented because colour doesn’t stick as well on wet hair). The dye I’m currently using is Electric Paradise by Arctic Fox. I usually keep this in while I shave or brush my teeth (normalize brushing your teeth in the shower man) so around 3-5 min. And then after I’m done towel drying my hair I put in this Argan Oil From Morocco And yeah that’s my hair routine!! I discovered all these products by trial and error throughout my year and a half of hair dyeing, and it’s my time to impart this knowledge onto you! Thanks for reading until now and DM me on ig (@porojin) if u ever need any help and I’ll try to get to you! Farewell fellow mental breakdown enthusiasts, Chammy
