Hair Mask that bring life back into my hair
#amikagiftedme soul food nourishing mask . If your hair is especially dry, this one’s for you! . For some unknown reason, my hair has been getting really dry lately. I haven’t changed much in my haircare routine, so I’m thinking maybe it’s the weather? Either way, it is what it is, and now I have to deal with it somehow. . This mask already had me at the word ‘nourishing’, but the fact that it has jojoba oil really sealed the deal for me. Both my skin and hair love jojoba oil, so I knew this would be good. And you know what, it is good! Just after the first use, my hair felt much softer and hydrated, and stayed that way for a while. I didn’t have to dunk it in oil to keep it from feeling like hay. . It’s quite thick, almost as thick as your average body cream, but it spread through hair with no problems. I let it sit on my hair from around 6-7 minutes, wash it off and don’t follow with conditioner. The mask gives enough hydration. . Let me know what you use to keep your hair hydrated and nourished. I need all the recommendations I can get 😂 . . . . gifted #cheriecreatoramika: - Soulfood Nourishing Mask

Hair mask? Could be a fun treat!
Ooooooh! So I generally think that hair masks tend to weigh my hair DOWN. I have super thing, medium long hair, and it gets weighed down super easy. But this one keeps me looking dapper without being weighed down so I don’t look like a grease ball after a day. Is it a daily requirement? Nope. Is it still fun and makes me feel like a queen, yes. Could be worth it for a special day! #cheriecreator amika: - Soulfood Nourishing Mask

This leave-in conditioner is my fave!
So this leave-in conditioning spray was my first foray into leave-in conditioners. I absolutely LOVED it! The only reason I haven’t started using this bottle yet, is because I have a couple others that people have given me or I’ve gotten in subscription boxes, that I need to finish first. It’s $20, which I think is a good price for what this product does. I really felt like my hair was healthier and stronger when I used this, so WOULD recommend. It is meant for straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair types, with fine, medium, and thick textures. Also, if you’re looking for a great clean hair brand, Briogeo is your best bet.Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioning Spray

Briogeo Rosarco Milk
💖What are the claims? It is an ultra lightweight leave in conditioning spray that nourishes & protects. For all hair types, textures & colors! Formulated for; dryness, frizz & to add shine & moisture. 💖Key ingredients; •Rosehil Oil🌹 - to protect the hair from damage & provide essential fatty acids to deter frizz & add hydration. •Argan Oil✨ - provides vitamin E & essential fatty acids to thoroughly condition & help dryness & add shine. •Coconut Oil🥥 - helps seal in moisture & protect against breakage environmental impurities, & excess heat. 💖Texture/Consistency? It’s a very thick cream, but in a spray bottle so it’s very dry easy to apply! 💖How to use; spray through clean damp hair & comp through ends. 💖My thoughts? I got this for my birthday last year & I’m just now getting around to using it! I’m obsessed! This has saved my damaged hair. This small bottle has lasted me 3-4 months of using it every other shower! I use it all in my hair & comb it through & when my hair dries I feel the most of a difference! My hair also looks shinier & healthier. This smells so amazing like roses & vanilla. The formulation is nice & it doesn’t make my hair look or feel greasy either. My hair is naturally wavy & curly & my hair got super curly without using any other product but this! This is great for curly girls too. It’s very hydrating & nourishing to my hair. It’s been great for my dry hair! I love this! 💖Price Vs. Size? This retails for $9 for 1.75 oz & it’s lasted a long time. Worth it! Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioning Spray

The best hair products!!
Let me just start off by saying @olaplex is Amazing!! ! I bought N°3,4,5,6,7 and use it as a once a week routine. My Hair feels absolutely amazing! It is pricey, but worth my money! There all just beyond amazing! My favorite of course is Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 it’s sooo good I need 10 bottles to stock up! . . I definitely recommend these products! It worked wonders for my hair which is dyed, and highlighted often, styled daily with tools, so gets very dry! My hair is softer, shiny, and looks a lot healthier because I haven’t had much breakage! . . When using No3 I use once week and leave it on overnight or couple hours all depends!! I typically wash my hair every 3 days because I color my hair I don’t want the color or highlights to fade! . . No. 3 Hair Perfector is not a conditioner, it’s an at-home treatment that contains the same active ingredient found in all professional Olaplex products! This formula is made to work with every hair type, providing real, structural repair that works from within! . No. 4 Shampoo repairs and protects hair from everyday stresses—including damaged hair, split ends, and frizz—by re-linking broken bonds. No.4 is color-safe and proven to reduce breakage and strengthen all types of hair! . No. 5 Bond Conditioner is for all hair types and leaves hair easy to manage, shiny, and healthier with each use. It is color-safe, leaves hair stronger than ever, and benefits all hair types and textures! . No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme is excellent for all hair types—including colored and chemically-treated hair. No. 6 strengthens, hydrates, moisturizes, and speeds up blow dry times while smoothing and eliminating frizz for up to 72 hours! . Olaplex No. 7 repairs, strengthens, and hydrates all hair types. It dramatically increases shine, softness, and color vibrancy, while minimizing flyaways and heat protection up to 450°F/ 230°C. It works on all hair types and textures! . #olaplex #olaplextreatment

Might as well post my February Faves! @peterthomasrothofficial Pumpkin Enzyme Mask- this is my second tub and while not having it for a while, I realized I missed it! Similar results as the DE Babyfacial but smells like pumpkin pie! You can definitely feel the spiciness while it’s on and the results are fantastic! @theouai Super Dry Shampoo- this is my second bottle, it’s so goooood! I really don’t have to use dry shampoo for the next few days after spraying this, and it prolongs my hair wash for at least another two days! @olaplex No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner- this makes my hair feel and look amazing, especially after I dyed it! @lancomeofficial Skin Feels Good Skin Tint- Lancome makes some amazing foundations! I’ve been loving the light/medium coverage this gives and I love tubes, they’re so easy to use! @hourglasscosmetics Vanish Airbrush Concealer- people either love or hate this concealer but I’m so impressed! It looks good all day and doesn’t look cakey or dry! @freshbeauty Sugar Lychee Perfume- I need all of their perfumes now! This has such a unique and fresh, sweet scent, I’ve been obsessed! @maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara- I forgot how good drug store mascaras really are and this one reminded me! It gives crazy volume and length and it’s super black! @morphebrushes Mega Matte Lipstick “Boy Toy”- the formula isn’t my favorite but the shade is one of a kind, gives me 90s concealer lips vibes and I’m loving it! @Sephora Flawless Airbrush #56- This brush is the best for blending out concealer, Sephora brushes have been my obsession lately! And they’ve been on sale so I can’t pass them up!

Cooling Conditioner
Amika Reset Cooling Gel Conditioner Product Function: Conditioner that helps to clarify the scalp, remove product build up and provide moisture to damaged hair Product Target Concerns: Remove build up and impurities while nourishing the scalp and providing moisture Texture/Consistency: Its a creamy gel consistency Thoughts: This worked really well at cleansing my scalp. I enjoyed the cooling sensation, but where this product unexpectedly got me is how soft this conditioner made my hair feel. I wasn't expecting that at all. It was a pleasant surprise to know that this conditioner designed for the scalp was working to also help my damaged hair. I enjoy this and would repurchase. Recommend to others: Yes, its a unique product that delivers.amika: - Reset Cooling Gel Conditioner

Amik Reset line
This is my first time trying shampoo and conditioner (as well as an oil cleanser) from @amika and I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised! The reset line is supposed to deep clean the hair by removing all the products (mouses, oils, dry shampoos) and dirt from it. These products are supposed to be used once a week to reset your hair, but if you have very oily hair, you can use it as you see fit. Personally, I use it about 2/3 times a week, because my hair can get oily pretty quick. . The shampoo smells super clean and a bit of peppermint. Foams up easily and leaves the hair feeling refreshed and clean, but not too clean. The conditioner is creamy, but very light and not at all heavy. It also smells a little it of peppermint. As far as oil cleanser, I am still not 100% sure if it works for me. I’ve tried to use a little bit of it, then a lot, and in both cases I don’t feel it do anything for my hair or scalp. If you’ve used it and liked it, let me know how you use it! . Personally, I’m very happy with this line. I love how the shampoo and conditioner duo leaves my hair feeling. Each time I use them, it’s like a fresh start for my hair. I think this line is amazing for people who have oily hair, or use a lot of products in their hair. This does an amazing job at deep cleaning and refreshing the hair. MOROCCANOIL Intense Hydrating Mask 💙
This argan-oil mask claims to improve hair hydration, texture, elasticity, shine, and manageability. It is recommended for more medium to thick hair. Now I have very thick, very wavy, damaged, and color treated hair. Lately it has been so insanely dry (especially on my ends). Immediately upon scooping some out I really liked the texture of the product. It was very creamy and was easy to distribute through my hair (which has been such a pain lately when it’s wet). I immediately noticed it is fragrances which I don’t care for much but I feel like it isn’t the biggest deal. I left it on my hair for seven minutes and rinsed. It rinsed out of my hair very easily as well without leaving my shower slippery which I appreciated. Normally when I wash the conditioner out of my hair it still feels very dry when wet but I did feel a difference of it being less dry feeling with this. When I blow dried my hair is definitely felt a lot softer and bouncier. It didn’t weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy. I could definitely tell a difference in my hair so I’m very very excited to keep trying it! Thank you for the great recommendation Megan. 🖤

Favorite Hair Mask
My favorite hair mask! I usually wash my hair twice a week. On one wash I use the olaplex 3 treatment and the other wash I use this hair mask! It is packed with argan oil to boost hydration, improve texture, elasticity, shine, and manageability. It also has glycerin, which is a great humectant to draw moisture in! I fully wet my hair (root to tip) and apply this all over! The great thing about this mask is that it doesn’t leave my hair greasy at all. I want my scalp to reap the benefits of the mask so i make sure to apply there also. It is okay for all hair types (straight, curly, wavy, coily). It is $35 for 8.5oz, but this has lasted me over 8 months and as you can see I still have quite a bit left! Could probably be used for a full year with one big jar! I recommend this product! My Facial Oils And The Truth About Them
This is my weekly Moisturizing Facial. It is designed for my skin but I hope it can help someone else. Isn’t that why we are all on this site? 💋🌹😃 Mix Castor and Rosehip SEED Oil equally in a glass bowl with your facial fan brush. With your fan brush, place mixture on face, neck, and decolletage. With either hands cleansed with rubbing alcohol, (that’s what I do), or gloved hands, massage mixture into your skin; your face, neck, and decolletage for ten minutes. (Your facial massage is completely personal. I found mine on YouTube for the sinuses and facial pressure points!😀) My steamer is very targeted, so I’ll move it every few minutes while massaging continually. I steam for around 20 minutes. Most believe over 10 isn’t good. Oh well. I know what works for me. 😀 CASTOR OIL- * Contains antioxidants that fight free radicals in your body. *Fights acne. It has antibacterial properties. Bacteria on your face can clog pores and lead to acne. *Reduces puffiness. *It has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce swelling and puffiness. *****It has been shown to reduce the size of inflamed pimples or eye bags as well!*****WOOHOO! *Great noncomedogenic moisturizer. *Soothes sunburns. *Fights dry lips. ROSEHIP SEED OIL- (I like this almost as much as coconut oil!) *It has TOTALLY EVENED OUT MY HYPERPIGMENTATION IN ABOUT 4 MONTHS OF DAILY USE! *It exfoliates and brightens. *It helps boost collagen FORMATION. *Reduces inflammation and protects against sun damage. ***Neither Rosehip Seed or Castor Oil have been known to clog pores, BUT your skin has its own rules. Just remember: It takes two weeks of daily use of a product to know that its right or wrong for you. In almost all situations where a new cleanser, etc. is introduced to your skin, there will be a skin response. It’s just how the human skin works. COCONUT OIL- I LOVE coconut oil! I use it all over and I’ve never broken out from it. It literally changed my skin for the better in smoothness, moisture, and age lines! And the price for the best of it, is just great! If your skin is severely dry, I ALWAYS recommend this oil. *It regulates the PH balance of your skin. *It’s antibacterial and anti-microbial. *It’s composed of nourishing fatty acids *It contains VITAMIN E and HEALTHY FATS, which nourish and smooth the skin, when other oils FALL SHORT. *It’s especially high in LAURIC ACID WHICH IS AN ACNE FIGHTER! So, if you are looking for additional moisture that castor or rosehip seed oils are just not providing, ***I 100% RECOMMEND COCONUT OIL, even if you are prone to pimples. This doesn’t mean that I suggest it be the last step in your facial if you have severe acne. But I know aggravated skin can still reap its benefits through a coconut steam massage. CLEANSE: I finish by using DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and a Konjac Sponge and Zeppa Cloth. Then pat in Dermalogica. Multi-Active Toner, and break open some Vitamin A and put it on since that is pure Retinol.

Page 2. Oils For Oily Skin
When younger, my face was VERY oily with some pimples and my mother and sister had SEVERE ACNE. So, I have always been waaay dead-set against using oils of any kind! But what I didn’t know, was that when your PH level is off because you are trying to dry your pimples out, that dry skin clogs pores and makes more pimples. GENTLE OIL-BASED CLEANSERS safe for acne prone skin: DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and Dermalogica PreCleanse. CASTOR OIL: is GREAT for skin acne! It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties which make it useful in reducing acne. Ricinoleic acid can inhibit growth in the bacteria that cause acne. Castor oil is also rich in other fatty acids so it also softens the skin. ROSEHIP SEED OIL: is also extremely good for the skin as it is rich in Vitamin A, which helps spots and wrinkles. ***It's also packed with molecules that are small enough to penetrate deep layers of the skin, improving moisture and collagen levels, while reducing wrinkles and fine lines!*** I would use this every day with massage like a vibrating gold beauty bar, (gold is a conductor. So good for skin!) Use upward strokes for ten minutes. HYDROCOLLID BANDAGES: if you have to address a particular pimple. They work very well overnight but before I put that on, I use Neutrogena On The Spot and then put the bandage on. Other than the Neutrogena Spot Treatment, NO other brand has helped spot treat my pimples. The others would just dry out my skin and make it red but wouldn’t treat it. If you have body acne, I would again recommend the Baiden becomes it is so natural but: ***NEVER buy body soap from a regular store!!!*** Not even Bath and Body Works. You know that soap scum on the walls in the shower? That sticky waxy mess is on YOU TOO! Most ppl don’t know that because that’s all they’ve used. Once you change, you will FEEL the difference! I use: NATURAL BAMBOO VINEGAR SHOWER GEL. I have LITERALLY NOT had one pimple! I buy this stuff in bulk! LOL! REMEMBER that when you change products for anything, your skin, hair, whatever, freaks out for like TWO WEEKS. The body has an adjustment period just like our minds when doing something new. Then the new stuff is recognized and balances itself out. DRY BRUSHING: FOR BODY If you do have pimples on the chest, back, somewhere else on the body; dry body brush BEFORE you get into the shower. NEVER BRUSH HARD! And always towards the heart for circulation. A Boar Bristle Brush is Best. AFTER the shower and using a different body brush, put some Castor Oil into the brush and brush your skin with it again as it protects against pimples and heals the ones there. For the rest of my body, I then put coconut oil on the brush. After that, in specific places that won’t irritate or break out: that’s where I put my smell good lotions, like the very thick B&B True Blue Lotion. I’m truly glad that I had that oily skin when I was younger, because it def protected and protects me from wrinkles!

Prose Hair Care: First Impressions
Prose Hair Care: First Impressions
This is my first time using Prose and after one wash my hair and scalp feel great! I normally don’t spend much money on shampoo, conditioner, and other hair products. I’m always on a budget and do very minimal styling to my hair each day. Buying from Prose was a BIG splurge for me, all three of my products cast about $80 😬 But I can say that it was money well spent. Much like my skin, my scalp is usually dry and flaky, and finding products that smooth without buildup or weighting my hair down is tricky. With the consultation survey I took on the Prose website, my concerns and goals for my hair were identified pretty accurately. It even uses your zip code factor UV, humidity, and air quality of your area! I was impressed with the survey, and when my order arrived I was super excited for my next hair wash. I chose their new spring scent Prelude, it’s a nice subtle floral smell without being too overpowering. My three products I purchased were the pre-shampoo scalp mask, shampoo, and conditioner. Each one comes with its own instructions detailing how much to use and how long to let it sit in your hair. Overall I am impressed with Prose after my first use. I wash my hair every 2-3 days so it’ll be a few more weeks before I decide wether to re-order or not. Excited to continue using Prose! 🚿🧼😊

I LOVE Amika products and these are my two favorite by far. The dry shampoo doesn’t leave hardly any white cast on my dark hair and soaks up oils beautifully. Silken up is my secret weapon for super soft and silky hair. I spray it in on days when I don’t wash my hair for that just conditioner effect. Cost Friendly Regimen for my Curl friends🥰 WOW
Cost Friendly Regimen for my Curl friends🥰 WOW
I’ve been natural for just about 8years and have went through just about every brand you can think of! I thought I found my holy grail with Deva Curl until they had that whole fiasco with their products causing hair loss and damage which unfortunately I fell victim to 😭 Thankfully I caught it early but I’ve been in search of a regimen that works for me. I finally found it with Emerge! These pictures are the after effects of the products without any added stylers! Look at that definition 🥰 🌱 It’s Knot Happening Sulfate Fred Shampoo- I’ve never had a wash day where I could detangle so effortlessly with a shampoo! It lathered perfectly and my hair felt super clean but not like it has been stripped. 🌱 Smooth Mover Conditioner and Hair Mask- This conditioner is so softening and smells great! It was easy to detangle and I left it in for about 15 minutes and rinsed it out and my hair felt so smooth and soft! 🌱 Back To Life Deep Conditioner and Hair Mask- This was the star 🌟 of the show! After shampooing and conditioning I decided to also do a deep conditioner since I hadn’t deep conditioned in months! I raked this hair mask through my hair and put a plastic cap on for an hour and then rinsed it out. My hair was so defined and literally revived! It was shiny too! All in All I’ve found my new regimen and I’m happy with it! Not to mention each item costs you no more than $7. Only at Target but so good it doesn’t matter! You can’t beat that price with quality!
