Slugging with Aquaphor Healing Ointment!
Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment Ok guys, I’ve heard about this a lot and my skin is so darn dry that no moisturizer lasts overnight. My skin ends up extremely dry and flaky and red the next morning and nothing is helping me heal or improve my skin. Everything I’ve tried kind of just helps short term and is good in the moment, bust still wears over time, so I’m going to try slugging! What is slugging? I wasn’t sure, so I googled what it really was and Byrdie said, “Slugging is a K-Beauty skincare trend which includes coating your face in petrolatum or Vaseline. This prevents transepidermal water loss and keeps moisture in your skin.“ This sounds like it would be worth a try, I am a side and tummy sleeper so I’m hoping that it doesn’t get all over my pillow. I’m only putting the Aquaphor on my chin area because that’s the only area where I feel I need it. I’ll keep updating as I keep doing it, but I’m really hoping this saves my skin! *morning of day 1: it worked! I just woke up and looked in the mirror and I didn’t see any flakiness!!!! I’m gonna keep trying it for a few days to see if I can really get that patch permanently fixed, I’m so excited! I’ve had that darn thing for years in the winter. *morning of day 3: WOW MY SKIN IS SMOOOOOOOTH AND SO NOT DRY! The only annoying thing is trying not to get it on my pillow since I’m a side/tummy sleeper but this is really working for me! And this is great because I meant to purchase hand cream, got this instead, and had no idea what to do with it until I heard about slugging.
Eczema flair ups
So after being home for what seems like forever, i’ve suddenly had a flair up of my eczema. It started off on my eyelids for a few months, then with quarantine, it started spreading in my left cheeks, my forehead was extremely dry and cracked, then all over my face. I used to not be sensitive with my acne skincare products, but the more my eczema got worst, the more sensitive my skin would get. Even a splash of water would irritate my skin. I stopped doing my regular skin care routine for a while, it was not doing me good with a compromised skin barrier (which is what eczema is). So this is what has been working for me, after trial and error, these two products together helped clear up my patches, and decrease my redness. Still a little flakey, but not as flakey as it was initially. I start off by cleansing my skin with CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser it’s the only gentle cleanser i have. It still irritates my skin a little sadly, but i try to cleanse less, so usually PM only. And I would rinse my face with just water in the AM. Don’t feel the need that i should spend on another cleanser, since it’s hopefully just temporary until my skin barrier gets stronger. - then i would slather CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream all over my face on damped skin, avoiding my eye area. Its so thick and perfect for my extremely dry skin. Its so soothing and the ingredients are the best. It’s very hydrating, but just not thick enough for my eczema prone skin. Which is why i follow up with a thin layer of Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment prior to doing this, i would wake up with flakey dry skin in the morning, as if all the hydration has disappeared during my sleep. But this ointment helps lock in the cream and keeps my skin hydrated until the morning. Its great for everything tbh. I would also put this on my eyelids since i have redness there as well. (Side note: i’ve been using this for my cracked lips for years, it’s the absolute best for drugstore lip balm). But if you have those bad days where your lips gets extremely dry to the point that you don’t know what to do anymore and your regular lip balm that you’ve used for a lifetime does not work, i would recommend #La Roche-Posay - Cicaplast levres[products]#[FiveStars] you wake up the next day as if nothing has happened, you get completely healed lips. I swear by it!!! It’s very thick, with a mat finish, it’s nothing like other lip balms ive used before. It also contains great ingredients such as panthenol which is great for repairing. The less is better for eczema prone skin, and i hope these two holy grail products of mine works for you too. You really need patience, and so far i am loving the results. My patches has gone away and my redness is slowly calming down. I thought i would need a whole new routine but i will stick to this for now.

the BEST hand cream to date!!
this is by far the best hand cream i've ever used!!!! I ordered the smaller 30ml one because I was skeptical at how well it really is and was blown away!! This is so moisturizing and smooth while also being able to use very little, and the scent is so light and clean! If you're still on the fence about purchasing, this is your sign!!! BUY IT!!!
GAME-CHANGING TIPS FOR THE PERFECT MANI 💅🏻💖✨
Everyone always wants to know how I manage to keep my nails looking healthy & freshly painted every time they see me. And no, I don’t just paint my nails every time before seeing them. It’s a whole process and habit that I’ve curated for the healthiest strongest nail routine! These are all things that I do and have learned from listening to pro nail artists, from nail care brands, etc.: 1) For a mani that always looks fresh and glossy, repaint your Top Coat every 2-3 days to keep up the shine! You can turn a slightly buffed nail back to it’s glossy glory days easily. This way, your nails will always look like they’ve just been painted and it also prevents chipping! I love my OLIVE&JUNE - Nail Polish Topcoat - it dries fast and looks super shiny. 2) When prepping your nails for your next manicure, shape and cut your nails with your old polish still on! This way, you can easily visualize the shape of your mani without getting distracted or thrown off by your natural nail line. 3) Use a cuticle oil, treatment, or serum! This will help promote healthy growth of your nail, keep away any dry cuticle bits around your nails and always complement your mani with smooth, beautiful cuticles! I love OLIVE&JUNE - Cuticle Serum Set - it’s super lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin so goodbye greasy fingers! 4) More on the cuticles, try not to cut or trim your cuticles- push them back gently with your nail or a cuticle stick instead! But make sure your cuticles have been softened (like a few minutes after applying a cuticle serum or right after a shower). This is something my grandma taught me when I was very young. By gently maintaining your cuticles with this method, your cuticles will never over grow to the point where you need to trim them! Once you start cutting/trimming them, it’s really hard to stop. 5) If you struggle to keep you hand still while painting your nails, try Olive&June’s Manicure Tool, Poppy! It’s a rubber removable tool that fits over most nail polish handles and its ergonomic shape guides you to make smoother and more even strokes! OLIVE&JUNE - The Poppy Manicure Tool 6) Keep up the hand cream! I keep it on my bedside table as a visual reminder to put some on. If you want a super rich one, try L'OCCITANE - Shea Butter Hand Cream ! But if you want something more lightweight and not as thick/sticky feeling after applying, try OLIVE&JUNE - Olive&June Hand Serum ! This will really help moisturize and nourish your hands daily. 7) Use an oil-based, acetone/alcohol-free nail polish remover. An oil-based one like ella+mila - Soy Nail Polish Remover Unscented will help to nourish nails your nails while removing nail polish instead of stripping them of its natural oils! *I know I mention Olive&June a lot but I just want to mention I’m not sponsored by them, I just truly love their products!

☀️big ‘ol SOL de Janeiro haul
If you have read one of my past posts about Sol de Janeiro, you already know I’m a dedicated Bum Bum cream user. We’re celebrating our 5 year anniversary this Spring🧴👰🏻! We’re very happy together🧡 I do pray every night they will release a deodorant!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeaase 🌴After trying various samples of their other body care & hair care products, I finally just broke down & went deeper into the jungle of my obsession. 🇧🇷 SOL de Janeiro means January Sun in Portuguese. I’ve always loved that play on words (Rio de Janeiro) & sentiment. In Rio, January is the height of Summer sunshine. I have a January birthday, & growing up in Northern California, this was definitely not the case🌁 The warm, rich sweet nutty scent is so comforting to me year round. I’ll be writing in-depth reviews for everything here, but if you want to check out my full review, the ingredient breakdown & scent profile info on SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum Cream it’s in a previous post😘 I was really excited to finally get my hands on a 🏄🏻♀️ SOL de Janeiro - Biggie Biggie Bum Bum Cream Almost 17 ounces of my favorite body cream with the adorable purple surfboard spatula💜 In that post I also reviewed SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist which I completely love, only wish it lasted longer... So, enter: SOL de Janeiro - Cheirosa ’62 Eau de Parfum SOL de Janeiro - Cheirosa '71 Body Mist Just wasn’t the scent for me... but I had to give it a shot. It’s intense for a body spray, certainly more staying power than their Brazilian Crush body spray. It smells like very sweet kettle corn 🌽? SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Touch Hand Sanitizer Spray A hand sanitizer that smells like bum bum? Yes please. Mind you, this is still hand sanitizer, but there’s a slight hint of that bum bum scent you love. My favorite hand sanitizer! A must with: SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Touch Hand Cream also reviewed in my previous post. I’m still trialing SOL de Janeiro - Bum Bum Body Scrub But it smells wonderful, very moisturizing, but could be a bit too rough for sensitive skin.... SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Joia Strengthening + Smoothing Shampoo my bf & agreed this was just ok, but we stan the conditioner hard: SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Joia Strengthening + Smoothing Conditioner this is the shit! Seriously my new favorite conditioner! Last but not least, SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel is a body wash I love to keep in my rotation. Smells like bum bum, so it’s a wonderful shower experience if you love their signature scent. ✨What are your favorite scented bath & body products? Or do you have a fav SOL de Janeiro product?
✈️ in-flight routine (planning ahead!)
of course leisure travel is on hold on right now, but I love planning what I’ll have in my carry-on cosmetic bag one day! I always fly without makeup and make a point to do my skincare routine even if I’m flying all day. I love using an overnight mask as a barrier, too. my favorite is Embryolisse - Lait Crème Concentré it leaves my skin soft + visibly brighter. I always make sure to also have a mist to ensure my skincare doesn’t get dehydrated on the plane! SPF is another given, remember to wear SPF every day, EVEN WHEN YOU’RE INSIDE!! a few other things in my bag are a travel-sized perfume, deodorant, and hand cream (wash those hands!). what would you have in your in-flight routine? #cheriepartner

PR/Gifted // Bringing back to you guys @madeca_derma.us 🌿 Madeca Derma kindly sent me their brand new launch, the Revitalizing Sleeping Mask and I am loving it. Ingredients to highlight: - Niacinamide (I personally love this ingredient, it definitely works well for my skin although it’s not a necessity for me) - Squalane (Love!) - Pollen Extract (Interesting right?) - Propolis Extract (Great ingredient for those with acne prone skin) - Hyaluronic Acid - Honey Extract - Hydrolyzed Collagen The texture of this product is very light weight which is the perfect addition on top of my regular moisturizer (which is now thicker due to the colder months). I am loving the use of sleeping masks lately, I find them to be so great for the skin! The main thing I love about this product is that not only is it hydrating, it has ingredients that target acne prone skin! It’s a two in one! This does contain fragrance, but the smell is very faint. I don’t mind fragrance at all, it doesn’t make a product any less efficient for me. What is your favorite sleeping mask?
Glossier products I expected more from ✨
Ever since I received gift that were glossier products I’ve been a fan. I love the minimal aesthetic they have and most of their products are a hit for me. Unfortunately there are some that I didn’t really enjoy that much. Some products are just ok but for the high prices of some of these things I really set the bar high and expect quality results. The glossier hand creme. This came out in late April and I was super excited for this. Online it says it smells like their “you” perfume scent which I’ve liked from the samples I had. It’s not an affordable hand creme, it’s $18 and only has 1.7 oz. Nonetheless I really wanted it. I ordered it and loved the smell. The creme wasn’t oily or left a sticky residue. The only problem now is it has a weird smell. It’s only been a few months since I bought it. I’m kinda annoyed about it cause now it has a plastic smell to it. I try to put it on sometimes but the smell gets to me. The formulation is nice but if it only takes a few months for the smell to go bad then it’s not worth it to me. Glossier. - Glossier Hand Cream Mango balm dot com. I usually love bdc but this particular scent not so much. I expected this to be fruity and like a sweet juicy mango 🥭. It smell better than the actual taste. It does have that mango taste but more bitter. After having this on for a while it leaves a weird aftertaste. I just personally wasn’t a fan of this flavor. Glossier play colorslide. I wanted to love these eye pencils so bad. They’re made of wood so you have to sharpen them which isn’t a problem for me. I chose to order the shade “stable relationship” it’s a super pretty mossy green color. When I got it I immediately swatched it on my hand and it was nice. The color is amazing in person. Unfortunately whenever I apply this on my eyes it pulls and tugs on them. It’s never a smooth line. I have to go over some spots that the pencil skipped. Sometimes I warm up the pencil between my hands to soften the pigment but it’s always the same. If it wasn’t for the pulling and hard tip I’d love it. I have a couple other colors and they do the exact same. Online it says it lasts a while and that is correct. It doesn’t smudge easily. Glossier. - Colorslide Technogel Eye Pencil

Underrated Holy Grail Hydrators 💧
I have combination skin that is super sensitive on my face and body. I find I get regular dryness on my lips, body and cheeks so hydrating my skin is really important for me, especially now that I’m back working and showering twice a day because of it. Here are my favorites that are super underrated! ☀️ Brazilian Kiss by Sol de Janeiro $18 for .21 oz I found this when I was still using Lippe by DE and this stuck out because it’s the same price but has twice the amount of product. I purchased it to try it out and it’s been my favorite ever since. This is basically like a big gorgeous chapstick. The smell reminds me of sugar cookies, probably because among lots of hydrating oils it also contains butter. I’ve gone through 3-4 of these already and I’m not looking back! 🌹 Rose + Glow by Leah Skin ~$32 for 1 oz This oil every time I use it reminds me why it’s so great. Not only do I see quick results in terms of fading my red acne marks on my face but overall it hydrates gorgeously and brightens my skin. I also love supporting small businesses and this brand knows what they’re doing. Some key ingredients are squalane, Vitamin C and oils. This is a stable form of Vitamin C that can be mixed with other forms of that vitamin and even retinol. I also adore squalane for its anti-aging and oil control properties and for helping eczema and acne. The texture of this is a little thick but doesn’t feel that way on the skin at all. It’s smooth on application and goes on clear. *won in a giveaway by a skincare blogger 💕Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm by Aēsop $30 for 2.6 oz This is the best hand lotion EVER. Nothing makes my skin feel as soft and smell as gorgeously of citrus. Definitely holy grail status. Key ingredients here are Mandarin Rind, Rosemary Leaf, Cedar Atlas. This doesn’t feel greasy at all and absorbs quickly while still maintaining hand hydration. This comes in two sizes, 2.6 and a massive 17 oz for the big big fans who just can’t get enough. I can definitely see why! 💦 Lots of washing means lots of hydration. How do you keep your skin moisturized? Must-Have Products From Aesop!💖💖
I have combination, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. I want to share some Aesop products that I've used recently and found useful. First is the renowned Aesop - Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Facial Toner. I normally use half a dropper of it and rub it between my palms before pressing it onto my face. It has a light plant scent, and a slightly thick but runny enough consistency. It leaves my skin with a radiant glow but a little sticky as well, which, fortunately, vanishes after a while. I read online that some suggested not following it up with a facial cream, but I think it either way is fine. Facial cream can be easily absorbed, but without it, your skin won't feel dry either. I will consider repurchasing this product since it's a reasonable price. Aesop - B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel It has a thick honey-like texture and you'll need to emulsify it by gently rubbing it between your palms until it's warm before applying it. Wait a few seconds for it to be absorbed. It really leaves me with smoother skin and reduces my acne. In conclusion, it doesn't offer the best user experience, but it does offer great results. Aesop Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque This is an acne-fighting clay mask which offers great results. It's herbal scented, has a soft and smooth texture, and it reduced my acne significantly in just a short time, so I will repurchase it. Aesop - In Two Minds Facial Toner I wanted to buy the Aesop B & Tea Balancing Toner, but when the beauty advisor saw the acne on my face, she recommended me the In Two Minds Facial Toner instead which is suitable for oily, acne-prone skin. It has a light yellow-brown texture and its main ingredients are witch hazel, nicotinamide, and chamomile flower. My T-zone gets oily easily in summer and I find it does a good job at controlling the skin's water-oil balance. Aesop - Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser It gently resurfaces your skin with lactic acid, so it's quite useful for my acne-prone skin. It lathers wells and doesn't leave the skin feeling tight. Aesop - Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm It has a fragrant citrus smell and it's doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy. It's absorbed easily and leaves a matte finish.

Hand Cream Obsessed 🍂
So not only am I lip balm obsessed but I am also hand cream obsessed. Dry hands and feet have always been a thing that irked me. I will literally get out of bed in the middle of the night and grab lotion if my hands or feet are dry. I cannot function without lotion. Caudalie gifted me their CAUDALIE - CAUDALIE Moisturizing Hand & Nail Cream Trio for the holiday season. This set retails for $15 and contains: •Thé des Vignes Hand Cream • Roses des Vignes Hand Cream • Hand and Nail Cream Each hand cream contains 1 oz of product (which is the size of your typical foundation for comparison). The white one (Hand and Nail Cream) is by far my favorite. This one has a citrus scent that I do enjoy. It’s a stronger scent but it’s not over powering and does slowly fade into a more subtle scent. The purple has a very perfumed smell while the pink smells of roses. It’s a very lightweight cream that absorbs instantly into the hands so you’re not left with that heavy, greasy feeling. It’s does a pretty good job at keeping my hands moisturized so I will be throwing these into my work bag (which they are the best size for). The scents are definitely something you have to decide if you’re going to like going into this product. I don’t think the scents are for everyone. Personally, I think this would be a great holiday gift for those older ladies in your life. They smell good but it’s not what I usually reach for everyday being 25. Another really cool thing is Caudalie is pledging to plant one tree for every holiday set purchased!
My Favorite Hand Cream for All Seasons
CAUDALIE - Hand and Nail Cream As someone who has dry hands all year round I love this hand cream so much. It’s just a great basic hand and nail cream that does exactly what it’s supposed to. I’ve tried many hand creams before and a lot of them are either too greasy or too fragrant. This one hits just right for my preference. It feels very moisturizing even in nyc winter but doesn’t leave any greasy films. I use a pea size everytime and my skin absorbs it really fast. I like that it is under 100ml so it’s good for travel. I carry this around in my bag and also put it on before bed. It contains antioxidant grape polyphenols, avocado and shea butter, and it does repair my dry and chapped cuticles quite amazingly. It does have a fragrance that’s more on the fruity and floral side but since it’s fairly light and doesn’t linger for too long, I don’t mind it that much. CAUDALÍE is vegan and cruelty free. It retails for $15/75ml.

Derm doc’s tips and faves for dry hands ✨
Anyone else experiencing dry hands like me? Winter is a common time for dry hands and hand dermatitis, but especially this year with the increased hand washing due to COVID. While there are multiple causes for hand dermatitis, COVID related dry hands are most likely due to contact dermatitis which comes in two forms. Allergic contact dermatitis is when we see a true allergy to an ingredient, preservative, metal, etc. More often than not, we are seeing a lot of irritant contact dermatitis in clinic lately in which the increased use of soap/alcohol is causing an impaired skin barrier and removing natural moisturizing factor from the epidermis—allowing the irritants to cause further inflammation. Swipe right to see some easy tips on how to improve hand dryness and my favorite products Comment below with your favorite hand treatments ✨skinfix - Eczema+ Hand Repair Cream Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectant Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Fragrance Free Hand Cream CeraVe - Healing Ointment CeraVe - Therapeutic Hand Cream
Happy hands day and night
This last year I started getting eczema so bad on my knuckles, knees and elbows. Oils just weren’t doing the trick. These two hand creams have been seriously saving my hands from cracking and bleeding. They’re on totally opposite ends of the spectrum if you’re comparing. First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream is like the og hand cream you would imagine. Smooth, white texture, leaving just the slightest bit of oily residue, packed with dimethicone to lock in the moisture. Skinfix eczema hand repair cream is more like the og’s hippy aunt, but you wouldn’t tell from the packaging. It’s smooth balm-like texture leaves more of a matte finish, and smells more naturals delicious. Dimethicone free! I have been using the ultra repair cream overnight, and the eczema cream during the day. I wish I would have taken a before photo, because my hands look incredibly different.. in a good way.

It’ll Moisture It’s Way To Your Heart!!!!!
IF YOU’VE LEARNED ANYTHING FROM THIS COVID-19 CORONA CRAZYNESS, YOU KNOW HOW IMPERATIVE IT IS TO WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!!!! IF YOU’RE A HEALTHCARE WORKER YOU KNOW HOW OFTEN YOU HAVE TO WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!!!! & with washing your hands here comes the dryness you have to deal with! Welp. Prior to Auntie Rona coming to town, I worked in healthcare since I was 16. I also attended a healthcare program for Patient Care Tech & on the daily basis & maybe even beyond I stayed washing my hands. And since I have a “THING” for dry hands. Right when I came from washing my hands, I had a 2 step method ALWAYS! 1. Sanitize 2. Moisturize & nothing grinds my gears more than a hand lotion that’s watery! I may as well have skipped step 2! And that’s what I was running into OFTEN. Until Nutrogena decided to create this HydroBoost line. Their line contains a plethora of products w/ the same ingredient .. HYALURONIC ACID. Or as I call it “Bae” 😏 . I came across the hand lotion before I laid my eyes on anything else. I bought the cute 3 oz. bottle in case I hated it. But also small enough to fit in my scrub pockets or purse. I fell in love instantly. Soon as it touched my skin. It has this cooling sensation to it, and it’s not real thick, but it’s not really watery either. It’s like the perfect combination of both! It has an amazing smell! Not too perfumey or over bearing and when I say it keeps me moisturized.. IT DOES! All day! I don’t have to apply any more unless I absolutely want to or I got to wash my hands again It had got to the point I wanted it all over my body when I got out the shower!!! Such an amazing product!!!!!Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hand Gel Cream Wanna See More Of My Crazy Reviews??? Head over to Instagram @AE__Beautyy
Neutrogena Hydrating Hand Cream
If you are looking for a solution to dry cracked hands as a cause of the cold dry winter weather, this is the hand cream to try. This hand cream is the new addition to Neutrogenas extensive line of Hydro Boost products. It’s formulated with Hyaluronic Acid which helps your skin retain water to keep you hydrated. I have been using this hand cream for a couple of weeks now and I’ve noticed a significant improvement on my dry hands. It absorbs into the skin super fast leaving my hands feeling soft and hydrated without leaving a greasy residue whatsoever like most other hand creams. Even though it’s marked as a cream it has more of a milky blue, gel like texture to it. This does contain a fragrance but nothing too overwhelmingly heavy. I purchased this at Walmart where it retails for $4.93 for 3 oz which is a great deal for a truly great product. I’ve tried multiple high end hand creams and nothing has worked as well as this for me.

Friday Faves ✨
✈️ @summerfridays jet lag mask - love how this mask hydrates my skin and makes it glow. 🍋 @deciem vitamin c suspension 23% + HA spheres 2% - this is the best thing that happened to my face! If I have breakout I use this in my PM routine and after 2-3 days my skin is cleared. I hate the feeling when you apply it, it stings a bit. (not for sensitive skin). 👄 @balmbalmco - You can read my reviews about this one. It’s always on my bedside table. 🤚🏻 @grownalchemist - at the beginning I couldn’t stand the smell of this hand cream but now I somehow love it 😬😆 This cream keeps my hands always soft and it’s on my bedside table with the lip balm. What are your faves? ❤️🥰

Body + Lip Products for the Winter
Since it’s been getting colder, my skin has been craving a lot more moisture. Here’s what I’ve been trying recently, with my honest reviews. I am unemployed because of COVID, so price is something I’m very conscious of. I’m only repeat-buying products that work and are worth the price! JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter Vanilla Apricot This is my must-have in the winter for dry skin. It’s extremely hydrating, a little goes a long way, the pot lasts forever, and it’s one of my all time favorite scents. I received this as a gift last year but liked it so much that I’ve continued to buy it ever since! Josie Maran is expensive, so I might recommend adding this product to a Christmas wish list for the first try if you’re curious and on a budget. philosophy - Fresh Cream Body Lotion I love this for every day use. The scent is very warm, which I love for winter, and lingers for most of the day but isn’t overpowering! Not cheap but affordable, and it hits all the marks for a great lotion. Nécessaire - The Body Lotion A new purchase which I bought because of the vitamins it contains, and, honestly, all the hype surrounding it. It’s unscented, the consistency is GREAT, and it absorbs well. But although it’s around the same price as philosophy lotions, the fact that it’s unscented makes me want to reach for tried-and-true, cheaper lotions from brands like CeraVe. The ingredients so far have not caused any noticeable changes in my skin so I probably won’t buy this for myself again even though I love how smoothly it goes on. BURT’S BEES - Almond & Milk Hand Cream A great drugstore buy that WORKS. It’s slightly more heavy duty than my other hand creams and melts into the skin well. Plus I love the scent, it reminds me of marzipan/almond paste. fresh - Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment First of all, this chapstick is super expensive. I’m so scared of losing it that it never leaves my house. But with that being said, it really is an amazing chapstick. If I use this once in the morning and once at night, I don’t really need to think about my lips for the rest of the day. Awake - Lip Therapy Lip Mask I received this as a sample and it’s....it’s really good, okay. This is the product that got me into lip masks. It works and it smells great. Even after trying other brands, this one’s still my favorite. And it’s a couple dollars cheaper than other lip masks on the market!
Hand repair on the go! 🐝♡
This Burt's Bees Hand Repair Gift set is sold for just $12.99! ♡This kit sits at work with me and saves my hands from doing so much work with paper! (they get sooo dry) 🏜 It contains the 4 items in the last photo. I do not use the 🧤 gloves because those are ment to use overnight and I dont want to sleep with gloves on 😅 🐝BURT’S BEES - Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream This has a very strong smell. It's tolerable but not a fan of it. I would not buy this again unless it was in this kit because I bearly use it. Overall leaves skin smooth but has an extremely greasy feel that I notice for at least 30 min after using. 🐝BURT’S BEES - Almond & Milk Hand Cream This has a weird smell to me, but I only notice it when opening the jar so it's fine. The cream is two types in one jar, the middle is thicker and around it seems more like a balm. (sorry i don't have a photo) I wish just the center hand cream was in there, the lighter outer layer that you scoop along with the cream is also quite greasy 😔 🐝BURT’S BEES - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream My FAV cuticle cream and I double it as my Lip Balm! I love lemon and this lemon scent is not over powering or fake. ♡I also keep a nail clipper and tweezers for my little hand care work kit! This has been a great option for me to have while I suddenly notice a painful hangnail or my hands lookin a lil rough 😆 Thank you all for reading, and dont forget to give some love your hands too! ♡✨🌸
Body care products review
Kiehl’s creme de corps Kiehl's - Creme de Corps No fragrances, this is a very important standard for me to choose body care products cuz I'm quite sensitive to scents. This one is sufficient with oil, but it's not sticky at all, and it can be absorbed very well in a few minutes. Many people don't like using body lotion very much because of the greasy feeling. For me, I usually take an appropriate amount in the palm of my hand, rub it quickly, and then gently press it onto the body and rub evenly. It doesn't feel oily. I have been using it for three months, and my skin is obviously smoother. I highly recommend it. 👍 Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream Compared with body lotion, I prefer to admit that this hand cream is Aveeno's best product. Still, no fragrance, and it absorbs quickly once applied. It is very moisturizing and doesn't feel greasy or oily. It's quite cheap, and one can last forever!👍
Kiehl's-Creme de Corps
Summer body care heroes!
I’ve seen Sol de Janeiro all over instagram lately, and after trying these three, I understand why! All three of these are the perfect summer scent. The SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel is a creamy body wash that smells like vanilla, salted caramel, and pistachio. It foams into a creamy lather and leaves my skin very moisturized. This mini size is $10 so it’s a great option if you want to try it out. The SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist is the grown up version of all those Bath and Body Works body splashes we all had back in the day 😂 Again, it’s the perfect warm and spicy scent for summer. My only complaint is that it doesn’t seem to last super long, but maybe I just get accustomed to the scent to I don’t notice it as much after a while. The SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Touch Hand Cream has been saving my hands lately. It’s really rich and moisturizing, and the scent obviously goes perfectly with the other products. I think all these products are reasonably priced and do what they claim to do.

✨FABFITFUN SUMMER BOX Product Review!
I just recently got my FabFitFun Summer box, which if you dont know, is a $50 subscription box that sends you 8 full sized products that can be related to makeup, skincare, fashion, technology, lifestyle, etc! You can customize your box to an extent by choosing between products within categories, so of course I always choose high end skin care products to test that I wouldn’t otherwise spend money on before trying first! Here’s what I found from the skincare products I recieved: 1. HydroPeptide - Moisture Reset Phytonutrient Facial Oil Price: $120.00 for 1 oz. Description: Anti-wrinkle restoring face oil with flower extracts, avocado and pumpkin oils, and rice bran extract. ReviewThe price!! I would absolutely NEVER buy this oil for the full price no matter what it claims, that is a ridiculous amount of money for only 1 ounce. It also has an earthy/herbal smell that isn’t horrible or very strong but its slightly off-putting to me, although I’m glad that indicates a lack of artificial fragrance. The ingredient list is extensive with SO many different types of oils and extracts, so its hard to tell exactly which ones are doing the heavy lifting how much of each is benefitting me. However, I was actually pretty shocked at the results. My skin was like BUTTER in the morning, it was soo soft and moisturized, much more so than it usually would be! Therefore I give it 5 stars; if you can afford it then it works well! 2. Kate Somerville - Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream Price: $65 for 1.7 oz Description: Daily facial moisturizer whos main ingredient is lactose from goat’s milk. Review: I like it, but I don’t absolutely LOVE it for the price. Its very refreshing and soothing, but I was expecting it to be a thicker night cream consistency, but its actually very thin and runny so too lightweight for night time, but perfect for the day time! It feels like you will need a lot for ample hydration but a little goes a long way and it definitely is hydrating and makes you glow. Its a good moisturizer, but I wasn’t wowed and definitely wouldn’t repurchase. If you have oily/combo skin and the price isn’t an issue for you I would definitely recommend it, but its not enough for my drier skin. 3. dr. brandt - Do Not Age with Dr. Brandt Triple Peptide Eye Cream Price: $82 for 0.5 oz Review: This is definitely the best eye cream ive tried (though I haven’t tried many). Its so creamy and thick and melts into my eye area very easily with little to no rubbing! My eye area isn’t a problem for me so I can’t really attest to the short term results but I imagine in the long term this will be very beneficial. However, the price point is still crazy. 4. SPONGELLÉ - Coconut Verbena Hand Cream Price: $18 for 2 oz. Review: This hand cream is HEAVEN, so soft and hydrating and the smell is delicious. SO WORTH IT! ❤️

My quarantine skincare routine!
~Hey guys! Just a quick disclaimer before the post: I am NOT skincare expert and this is basically the first time in my life that I have an actual skincare routine. So if I make some mistakes talking about these products, I’m so sorry!~ Like many others, I have been suffering from the dreaded “maskne” because of wearing a mask to school all the time, and I was really desperate for something to help me get rid of all the pimples along my nose, chin and cheeks. In the past month, I’ve developed this ~short~ skincare routine that works wonders for me! Also, I have sensitive skin that reacts badly to many strong products, and that’s why I don’t want to use too many products at once. Maybe in a few months, I’ll update my routine and add some more things to it! Morning skincare routine: -First thing when I wake up, I roll my face with my SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Roller I have the mini one, as you can see, and I love the feeling of it first thing in the morning. I keep it on my vanity, and it really absorbs the cold, so it feels super refreshing. -Right before I leave for school, I splash my face with water and apply some Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment on my lips. I don’t have time for anything else! I’ll talk more about the Aquaphor later. Evening skincare routine: -First, I cleanse my face with the Neutrogena - Pink Grapefruit Activated Cream-to-Foam Facial Cleanser So far it’s been working super well! After only three uses, I noticed many of my pimples were gone, and my pores looked less clogged too! I highly recommend this to anyone dealing with maskne. -Then I use my Cetaphil - Hydrating Eye Gel-Cream on my under eyes. I honestly can’t tell if this makes a difference visibly, but it feels very refreshing and calming, and I think it’s a nice thing to do before going to bed. -Lastly, I use my Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment I’ve been using this on my lips for a few years and I LOVE IT! My lips get dry very easily, so I put this on every morning and night and my lips barely ever get chapped anymore! I’ll also use it on my hands in winter when they’re dry, or on my knees sometimes. Seriously, this product is AMAZING. Alright, that’s it for this post! I hope you guys enjoyed. Let me know what other posts you’d like to see! Kisses 🍄🍂🍓🧺🥧
