[REVIEW] My Mini Empties
Hey y’all! I recently decided to actively work on emptying skincare products I’ve already opened. In this case, I was able to get through quite a lot of sample and mini/travel-sized products and here is my two cents on these empties! Enjoy ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *Note: I have oily/acne-prone skin ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🍃 YTTP Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser - Great cleanser if you like the scent of leafy greens (i.e predominantly kale and spinach) - Non-stripping and lathers nicely - Really expensive (perhaps overhyped) for a cleanser - I like it but I would not purchase the full size for myself unless it was on sale ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🧼 REN Perfect Canvas Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser - Great cleanser if you like a balm-to-milk texture - It is super thiccck (hard to get product out) - Again, quite expensive for a cleanser - I prefer cleansing oils and I noticed that I used a lot of product and had to aggressively scrub my face; I would not purchase the full size ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🌾 VSPINK Lavender Hand Cream with Shea Butter - Great product if you like a fairly quick-absorbing and lavender-scented hand cream - A little goes a long way! - Fairly affordable for a hand cream - Loved this hand cream! I am looking forward to trying the coconut version! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🧴 CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion - Great gentle moisturizer for all skin types (especially oily skin like me) - Easy to spread and quick-absorbing - Affordable for the amount you get - Loved this moisturizer! Great for daily use and especially when my skin becomes irritated. I would definitely consider purchasing the full size. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Perfect Canvas Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin

✨HOW I MOISTURIZE W ECZEMA✨
Hello! I suffer from eczema, more so in the winter after shaving than any other time. I do use a prescription cream for my terribly bad areas, but a very tiny amount. The OTC products I use are available at your nearest drugstore, or Walmart. I use the Vaseline eczema care cream, and I mix it with the cerave lotion. I will sometimes switch it up & use the Vaseline coco butter lotion (not pictures) when I feel my skin doesn’t need the cerave one (aka when I haven’t shaved). I use 2/3 Vaseline, 1/3 Cerave, so about one pump. This has been working super great for my skin. My eczema usually comes on my elbows, torso, and knee area. Any trips and tricks you’ve learned with eczema? Comment below 😄😄😄 #Vaseline - Eczema Care[products]#[FiveStars] CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin

Updated AM Routine
My first post was about my AM routine, and since it’s been 6 months, I thought it would be a good time to post an updated AM routine! For reference, I have dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. So here are the products I currently use- 1. VANICREAM - Gentle Facial Cleanser I recently made the switch from CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser , and I am absolutely loving it! It’s still gentle, but it provides an amazing deep clean! My skin is so soft and clean after using it. It’s the perfect first step for my routine. I use one pump with my Innerneed silicone face scrubber. ($8.99 for 8oz at Target.) 2. HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion : This hyaluronic acid solution contains 5 different molecular weight of hyaluronic acid to penetrate deeply into the skin. It has a gel-like texture. I apply a small amount on damp skin. It leaves my skin feeling plump, hydrated, and glowing. ($15.89 for 5.75oz on Amazon.) 3. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin : This is the moisturizer that I keep coming back to. I have yet to find one that I like better! It’s very thick and moisturizing. It absorbs best when I apply it while my skin is still damp from the hyaluronic acid lotion. It provides a matte finish and keeps my skin soft & hydrated throughout the day! ($9.99 for 8oz at Target.) 4. Krave - The Beet Shield : This is my favorite sunscreen! It’s unlike any sunscreen I’ve ever tried. It’s so light, not sticky, and hydrates my skin! I can reapply it throughout the day without feeling like I have a ton of product on my face. This is my one “splurge” product! ($20 for 1.69oz at Kravebeauty.com) Total routine costs: $54.87 Stay tuned for my PM routine!

Travel Essentials ✈️
Traveling with a carry-on means you can only bring the essentials with you, since you only get a quart bag! So what did I pack for a week ? 1. VANICREAM - Gentle Facial Cleanser A gentle, yet effective cleanser is a must-have for any routine. It takes off my layers of sunscreen after being out in the Florida sun, and leaves my skin feeling soft & clean! 2. CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream This is my go-to moisturizer for my dry skin. It’s thick and creamy. My skin feels soft, hydrated, and protected after using it. 3. Krave - The Beet Shield This is the best sunscreen that I’ve found! It’s so light yet hydrating. It’s not sticky or smelly. I re-apply every 2 hours when I’m out in the sun. 4. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster I typically rotate the azelaic acid booster with my tretinoin at night, but since I’m going to be in the sun so much, I decided to leave the tretinoin at home! This product helps my acne and post-inflammatory erythema. 5. L'ANZA - Healing Moisture Tamanu Cream Shampoo I love this shampoo. I only wash my hair every week, and this stuff is effective yet gentle. My hair feels soft and clean after using it! 6. L'ANZA - Healing Moisture Kukui Nut Conditioner This conditioner provides weightless hydration. I would typically use the L'ANZA - Moi Moi Moisturizing Mist after, but I didn’t have room in my quart bad so I’ll be using a small amount of the conditioner as my leave-in! The silicone travel containers are from Amazon! They work amazing and allow me to bring any product I want! What are your travel essentials?

Good simple cream
Cerave hydrating cream is a good basic product. It doesn't have anything flashy in the ingredients, but it also has no fragrance and essential oils. Sometimes less is more and not all our products in our routine need to have a lot of actives in them. The price point is also beyond fair for the amount you get. If you are someone with oily skin, try their hydrating lotion.

December challenge PT 2
I decided to split the list up, so here's days 17-20: Day 17 - body product: I'm honestly tied between the flamingo - flamingo Daily Moisturizing Lotion and Aveeno - Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream , since they've both helped my dry skin so much! Day 18 - device/tool: I've been obsessed with my SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Roller because it cools down my skin well and now I have to use it every night. Day 19 - most used brand: my most used brand is probably Glossier, because I use their eye products and skincare products all the time (boy brow, brow flick, lash slick; solution, priming moisturizer rich, super pure, balm dotcom) - though I use lots of products from other brands too. I just don't use many products from a single brand, but I have a lot of Glossier products that I use regularly Day 20 - top product of 2020: I know I posted another thing with my top product of 2020, but it's really a tie. The other product is NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer bc it's stepped up my makeup game and it's made a huge difference in covering my undereye circles.

The Good and not so good Necessaire
To save your coins from the Necessaire brand their body scrub and body wash are great especially to keep your skin buttery soft. The rest left much to be desired. I felt the body lotion and serum for the price points didn’t leave impact to the skin. I tried them in a variety of combos but both left me dry and ashy 😔.

Body + Lip Products for the Winter
Since it’s been getting colder, my skin has been craving a lot more moisture. Here’s what I’ve been trying recently, with my honest reviews. I am unemployed because of COVID, so price is something I’m very conscious of. I’m only repeat-buying products that work and are worth the price! JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter Vanilla Apricot This is my must-have in the winter for dry skin. It’s extremely hydrating, a little goes a long way, the pot lasts forever, and it’s one of my all time favorite scents. I received this as a gift last year but liked it so much that I’ve continued to buy it ever since! Josie Maran is expensive, so I might recommend adding this product to a Christmas wish list for the first try if you’re curious and on a budget. philosophy - Fresh Cream Body Lotion I love this for every day use. The scent is very warm, which I love for winter, and lingers for most of the day but isn’t overpowering! Not cheap but affordable, and it hits all the marks for a great lotion. Nécessaire - The Body Lotion A new purchase which I bought because of the vitamins it contains, and, honestly, all the hype surrounding it. It’s unscented, the consistency is GREAT, and it absorbs well. But although it’s around the same price as philosophy lotions, the fact that it’s unscented makes me want to reach for tried-and-true, cheaper lotions from brands like CeraVe. The ingredients so far have not caused any noticeable changes in my skin so I probably won’t buy this for myself again even though I love how smoothly it goes on. BURT’S BEES - Almond & Milk Hand Cream A great drugstore buy that WORKS. It’s slightly more heavy duty than my other hand creams and melts into the skin well. Plus I love the scent, it reminds me of marzipan/almond paste. fresh - Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment First of all, this chapstick is super expensive. I’m so scared of losing it that it never leaves my house. But with that being said, it really is an amazing chapstick. If I use this once in the morning and once at night, I don’t really need to think about my lips for the rest of the day. Awake - Lip Therapy Lip Mask I received this as a sample and it’s....it’s really good, okay. This is the product that got me into lip masks. It works and it smells great. Even after trying other brands, this one’s still my favorite. And it’s a couple dollars cheaper than other lip masks on the market!

☁️🥥Coco Cloud shave & Blueberry Kush scrub🫐💨
These 2 Truly products were a hit & a miss for me. *☁️Before trying Coco Cloud, I was just using an unscented Dove soap bar to shave🪒 🧼— I know. I was really stuck in a rut for years-even though it wasn’t really working for me (including Venus razors) I think I was scarred by a few 2000s scented drugstore shaving creams that irritated my legs so much! 🍦🥥TRULY - Coco Cloud Luxury Shave Butter $20/4 oz What’s cool is the one I have is almost entirely Organic (only 2/10 ingredients aren’t & they’re Vitamin E & Coconut Oil (last on list) Now I say the one that I have, because I could not find a matching set of ingredients for this product on Ulta.com, Truly’s own website, or this jar (ordered from Truly) I included all 3 on the last slide. I remember seeing it on Ulta, but ended up purchasing on Truly. I wouldn’t have added to cart if I saw that ingredient list though! All 3 are wildly different, & that’s a huge problem, because although I found this product a total game changer, how can I confidently recommend it to you guys if one says it has retinol in it! (I have zero retinol experience) I’d really like to repurchase this with confidence, & it could be a mistake on the site, but Ulta’s differs so much from the product I received as well.. 💻Truly had responsive customer service before, so I’m gonna email them to ask... I might not have found out these discrepancies, but I didn’t know what “Organic Bath Whip” meant as the 1st ingredient, I think it means Glycerin & Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, but not sure how that could be organic? My experience: The Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Virgin Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vanilla Extract, White Tea & Argan Oil, ARE ALL ORGANIC! The only other 2 ingredient are Vitamin E & Coconut Oil. 🥛I love that it’s naturally fragranced with real Vanilla!(personal fav) It smells so good, like vanilla coconut milk! It creates a nice froth & makes shaving super comfortable. Immediate results for me! No more razor bumps & irritated pores! I use the TRULY - Mini Gold Spoon + Satin Pouch ($5 each) to apply & keep sanitary, they’re perfect! Used w/ Venus Gillette - Venus Spa Breeze Razor With Refills Usually $8-$15 No complaints with the handle part, I’ve had the same one for years. Gillette - Venus Spa Breeze Women's 4 Razor Blade Refills Usually $15-$24 I’m switching to a more eco-friendly option, but it’s back-ordered. These don’t hold up for that many shaves before I have to toss them. Like 2, maybe 3- so the price adds up & the soap strips probably aren’t great. 💕TRULY - Blueberry Kush CBD Body Scrub $33/6 oz with 300 mg CBD This product arrived pretty melted/separated & leaking. It was nicely refunded, but my rating is purely on how I feel about the formula itself: It smells very strong of candy, but once you start using it with water it smells kinda weird, like grass? Also leaves a yellow dye-like residue?

🛍Still got a few more products to review for you lovelies, check out my ‘Truly Haul’ post to see what’s next💝 🍭TRULY - Unicorn CBD Whipped Body Butter $35/6 oz /300 mg CBD First off, I was initially drawn to this because it’s so cute, but I only decided to try it after finding out all the beautiful colors come from botanicals! 🦄I included the full ingredients & some breakdowns in the slides. 🧁Smells like freshly baked sugar cookies or homemade buttercream frosting🤤 It’s not fakey smelling, yay! 🍭The swirl is so pretty! (even if mine was a little bit smooshed by the lid due to slight overfilling) The gold lid was brutally scratched too, but their customer service is so good, they offered me partial refunds on anything damaged, responded promptly & were super sweet about it💕💻 Due to all the natural moisturizing ingredients (also in the slides) hot or cold temperatures will effect the consistency. It’s already freezing at night where I live, so this is very hard, but taking the time to work it in is so worth it! Using the TRULY - Mini Gold Spoon + Satin Pouch ($5) is super helpful, but any little (sanitized) spoon will work. My body skin hasn’t felt this nourished & moisturized in a while. I love this stuff even if I have to take my time. With my physical disability, some days would be too difficult to use this without help, so something to keep in mind if you have any mobility or pain issues. (Stay strong my babes!) 🧖🏻‍♀️I like to use this after a nice shower before bed. You will definitely wake up so moisturized in the morning! Having warm skin is helpful, I can run really cold. 🩹With all the amazing emollients in here, this is an excellent dry skin spot treatment, (NOT FOR YOUR FACE) sometimes if I’m not down for the full experience, I’ll hit my feet, elbows, knees, anywhere I’m a little extra dry. ✨Also great for shiny nails! 🥥The first 8 ingredients are Organic Shea Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Kokum Butter, Mango Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Cocoa Butter & Vitamin E. ⤴️This is actually the same for the Unicorn Lip Balm. All ingredients are identical except for the CBD isolate & Hemp Seed Oil present in the body butter, not in the lip balm. The lip balm contains Peppermint Oil, not in the body butter. I only knock off one star because it is a little hard to maneuver & I didn’t feel any pain relief from the CBD. That being said, there is a CBD-free version🦄 TRULY - Unicorn Fruit Body Butter-$20/4 oz, but it’s only about 83 cents cheaper per ounce than the CBD one. 🦄TRULY - Unicorn Fruit Lip Plumping Balm $14/1 oz 🍃I’m not usually into peppermint for scents, I’m picky, it can be so overwhelming sometimes. This is light, reminds me of the white Tic-Tacs, & been loving it! It’s easier to apply than the body butter, but still has a natural texture. It goes on thin & slick, doesn’t offer super lasting moisture, but a generous size!

Athena Club Body Care Review
Athena Club Body Care Review
I have been using these body care products from Athens Club for about two months now and wanted to share my thoughts. I didn’t try their razors because I have a lot from billie. 🙂 The cloud shave foam was a bit underwhelming, maybe I just prefer shave gel to foam but I had higher expectations for this product. I use a manual razor only for my armpits and this made the sensitive skin in this area a bit irritated and itchy. It might be better for legs or other parts of your body, but it wasn’t the best for my pits. This creamy body wash was really nice, it has a thick and creamy consistency that foamed pretty well on my shower loofah. It felt very moisturizing and cleansing without drying out my skin. The scent was pretty light and smelled almost like a floral baby powder. This was probably my favorite product I tried from Athena Club! I’m so torn on the dewy body lotion! The texture felt really nice and absorbed quickly. My skin didn’t feel sticky or greasy at all after applying which I really like, but what bothered me was THE SMELL. This scent is similar to the shower cream, but really strong and overpowering. When I first smelled it I honestly didn’t think I’d want to use it! It was that strong. The smell also lingers for a bit after application, but after about an hour it was mostly gone. I wish this came in an unscented formula! Overall, I would probably repurchase the shower cream and perhaps try the razors in the future. Have you tried anything from Athena Club? Let me know your thoughts!

Cerave Moisturizing Lotion - Review
CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Really good for oily/combo skin! I have combo skin and this moisturizer is very light but moisturizing enough. The texture is very light-weight and non-sticky, it absorbs really quickly into the skin. Pairs really well with the niacinamide or the mandelic acid from The Ordinary for people with acne-trouble skin. Also, this lotion is really great for the body! In conclusion, this lotion is a really good, beginner-friendly and affordable moisturizer.
