DROWN ME IN THESE
| OUAI - CHILL PILLS 6 for $30 |
These bath bombs that are basically $5 each with heavy amounts of jasmine rose and consists of jojoba seed oil, safflower oil, and hemp seed oil.
It’s a fizzy bath bomb that smells INCREDIBLE. Just by opening the tub, you are intoxicated by the smell of jasmine and rose 🤤 These were recently gifted to me by cherie, and after using these the other day, they made me feel SO relaxed after a super stressful week of exams. It’s the perfect amount of suds and fragrance. After the bath, my skin felt much softer than beforehand. I recommend these, especially when you compare them to Lush bathbombs that retail at at least $7-$9

Need Sleep 🛌? Try this combo (or separately)!
I usually have trouble sleeping. I’m a very anxious and worried person so finding ways to calm my mind as well as my body has become an interesting past time. I also have issues with autoimmune disease so trying to sleep sometimes can be a chore. I read lots of books, drink a glass of wine before sleep and take baths with scented candles.
I decided to go and ask my aunt was there anything I could do to help out with my insomnia that was homeopathic and she recommended two things - epsom salt and lavender . I was blessed to find Dr Teal's - Lavender Epsom Salt Sleep which helps with my aching joints and muscles which helps ease me to sleep better. The fact that it has lavender in it which is known to help insomnia helped out a lot! Don’t use too much to avoid skin irritation. 1/3 of a cup or less should do the trick! I also ended up finding ogx - Lavender Essential Oil Body Wash is amazing and helps with me sleep longer after use.
If you have trouble sleeping, please try to incorporate these to your nighttime bath time routine. I’m telling you these together or separate work wonders!

Epsom Salt: Worth the hype?
Ok so I am an athlete and with physical activity comes injuries. Friends and family have reccomended that I do an epsom salt bath to soothe sore, achy muscles and help me relax.
However, even if I do an epsom bath the main reason for my recovery is light exercise, stretching, and rest.
Here are the pros and cons of the epsom salt I usually use Dr Teal's - Lavender Epsom Salt Sleep
Pros:
smells nice
helps me relax after a long day
my skin is smoothe as hell
muscles are somewhat feeling better
Cons:
a bit of a hassle filling up the tub
you need to use a lot to feel the effects
doesn't aid too much in healing sore muscles
That is my review of epsom salts, I hope you enjoyed :)

LUSH Scrubee for smooth, moisturized skin 🐝
LUSH - Lush Scrubee
I picked one of these bad boys up for the first time a few months ago, and let me tell you - the first time I used it, I was in love. This body butter has alternating strips that exfoliate and moisturize, so your skin is left feeling incredibly smooth and moisturized.
🐝 Ground almonds and coconut shell exfoliate while honey, cocoa, and shea butter moisturize skin.
🐝 I use this after I’ve used my body gel, rubbing it along my skin in circular motions. Afterwords I use my hands to exfoliate my skin really well with the ground almonds and coconut shell that are left behind. Rinse off, and skin is left looking glowy and feeling like new! I should also comment that the scent is amazing. It smells like sweet honey and butter, and the scent lingers long after you’ve finished showering. I can’t get enough of these lil guys!

Bath Bombs or Bubbles? 🛁
I've been spending a lot of my time during this quarantine on selfcare, and for me that means a lot of baths! Lush is known for their bath bombs and bubble bars, but I have a definite favorite. THE BATH BOMBS!
I prefer the bath bombs over the bubble bars because they're way more concentrated giving you more bang for you buck! I love all the choices there are in the bath bomb category, there's something for everyone! Day time happy and uplifting scents, relaxing night time scents, bath bombs for couples, anything you could imagine! I always step out of the bath with smooth, soft and hydrated skin.
The bubble bars are just what they sound like, you crumble them under running water and they fill your tub with bubbles. The scent of the bubble bars isn't super strong, unlike the bath bombs, and the bubbles don't last the entire bath. I prefer bubbles that I can pick up in Target to the lush bubble bars. The bars do last for a few baths since you only need to use about a third of the bar!
What's your favorite Lush bath bomb or bubble bar? Leave your answers down in the comments!

bath bomb peachy, meh 3⭐️
so i partner with lush so i’ve tried so many bath bomb, this one honestly just didn’t do it, they’re all amazing and range from 5-10$, this one just wasn’t very scented and didn’t too much to the bath, it did make it glittery but it was almost a murky grey not a fun color and i like the smell to be strong, still fun and a great bath but not my favorite i’ve ever used LUSH - Peachy Bath Bomb

How Do You Self Care??? 👀 🛀💕
SOMETIMES WE ALL JUST NEED AN EFFIN BREAK!!!!!!
A BREAK FROM WORK
A BREAK FROM KIDS
A BREAK FROM SPOUSES
A BREAK FROM THE WORLD
A BREAK FROM ADULTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what do I do? What helps me? SELF CARE!! I love it. Maybe a day with the girls, or a day with myself, some pampering, a good nail appointment, or if I wanna practice good social distancing, a date w/ my bed & Netflix! However I choose to self care I start off with a bath!
It’s something tranquil about a warm bubble bath in peace & quiet that does it for me. A good soak gets me super chill! But it’s also about what I put in my waters that makes the bath , THEE BATH!
Me personally, I do it all.
The traditional Bubble Bath
Like, come on. I’m a 30 year old woman & I STILL love me a good bubble bath & anyone who gets on here & tries to play tough like you don’t like bubbles I DO NOT BELIEVE YOUUUUUUUU!!! 😝. Bubbles make the bath THEE BATH!!!!!!!!
Oils
Soaking in oils will have your skin feeling like a sexy marshmallow when you get out of the bath. You don’t even have to apply lotion afterwards, just AIR DRY!!!!!!
Milk & Honey
Or as I like to call it “The cereal bath” 😂😂 Now, let me make a disclaimer. I wouldn’t just pour a gallon of milk & dump honey all in my bathtub, NO! There are products out that contains these key ingredients. Or (with proper instructions) you COULD mix the 2 together (RESPECTFULLY) & create your own mix! Our QUEEN CLEOPATRA did it to soak in alllllll her beauty to remain beautiful, so yea, it’s a thing!!!
Salt Bath
For all my active beauties, or even all my beauties who have a rough day on the job & is just aching EPSOM SALT! They have Lavender salts for relaxation , & eucalyptus salts . All salts are for healing! Dr Teal's - Eucalyptus Epsom Salt Relax
Those are my personal faves! Along with a good smelling candle and some Sade on my playlist is how I begin my day of Self care.
So........ How Do YOU Self care???????

Relaxing 🛀
This is so relaxing 😌. I look forward to the day Im taking a bath so I can just soak my body in it , its so refreshing and soothing for my skin. Even mentally I feel better after I take a bath with this.
Also after work sometimes I just put some in a bucket and dip my feet in it, I feel flying over cloud9 . It’s so affordable too, I believe I got it for $10 which is totally worth it. One bag goes a long way

I used a facial peel on my feet...
Hello ladies, men, and non-binary friends 😎
Today I bring you another edition of: feet are WACK from years of playing sports, working on my feet, exercising daily, and a surgery.
This time around I wanted to see how a facial peel would work on my foot callouses. I got this Bliss facial peel pack of 5 peels pads (bliss - That's Incredi-Peel Pads ) as a mystery gift from Ulta a while ago, but I would never use such a high acid amount product on my face. Each peel pad contains a chemically exfoliating formula with 10% AHA in the form of glycolic acid.
I was way too chicken to use a serious foot peel on my feet and wanted to start out this way!
The packaging says to use nightly for 5 nights in a row, unless you have sensitive skin—then it says to use every other night until the pack is empty. Since my feet are full of callouses, I decided to use it every night for 5 nights.
Overall I would say my experience was great. I experienced no pain or tingling, just some dryness and tightness on day 3. My skin definitely peeled on my feet and I ended up having to use a foot file to remove lots of dead skin!
My 5-day results are AMAZING. I don’t know if I would use this specific product again but I might be using an exfoliating toner on my feet from now on...
My only gripe with the Bliss peel is that each pad is individually packaged which is pretty wasteful.
4/5
On day 6, to help remove any excess dead skin and to heal (if needed) I ended up using the Dr Teal's - Pure Epsom Salt Fragrance Free Soaking Solution for 20 minutes in warm water. I have used almost every Epsom salt from them and I love them all.
5/5
Highly recommend trying this before getting an expensive foot peel or foot spa treatment!!

Amazing bath product! 🧖🏻♀️
My favorite way to relax and soothe my bones after a long day.
Dr. Teal’s Pure Epsom Salt is an amazing addition to the bath. It really helps relax the body, soothe aches and pains and make you feel 100x better by the time your bath is over. I prefer the fragrance free salts as opposed to the others like lavender. This doesn’t dry out my skin or make it itchy. It has so many Healing properties and benefits.
I also recommend this to anyone who has pain or soreness. It’s definitely worth the price/time/effort. 🧖🏻♀️🧖🏻♀️🧖🏻♀️

🍆🍆🍆bath bomb
$6.85 3.8ozLUSH - Eggplant Bath Bombs
I wasn't expecting much from this bomb and mostly bought it because I thought it was funny. I was definitely surprised by how much I enjoyed it! The smell is nice, not overpowering at all and the bomb itself took a long time to dissolve, around 3 minutes! It foamed up, looked really cool and left the water a deep dark shimmery purple.

🥛🎀 Marie by Mad Beauty- bath milk & lip balms
Mad Beauty Limited create cosmetics, body care, sheet masks, lip balm & more in collaboration with Disney, Star Wars, Hello Kitty, Barbie etc.
Last year the UK-based brand had its Disney license extended to cover the US, Canada, Mexico & Brazil.
I haven’t tried anything else by Mad Beauty that I know of, but sadly I was pretty disappointed by these products...
Unfortunately there were no ingredients available online on Mad Beauty’s site, nor on ‘Box Lunch’ where I purchased these. They were inexpensive & cute, but I urge you to never purchase something without knowing the ingredients, I broke my own rule & it was a major bummer.
Marie is one of my favorite Disney characters. Watch Aristocats if you haven’t!!!!! So good 🎹🐈
MAD BEAUTY - Disney Marie Bath Milk Bottle $8/12.68 oz
This bubble bath is supposed to have a Peony & Cherry Blossom fragrance, but honestly it just smells sooooo bad. Kind of like burnt plastic & wet cardboard together, I’m not kidding. It’s unusable! I tried... & I just couldn’t get past the scent, it’s a palpable disgust. I don’t know who would like this. Sorry kitty! Not gonna cry over it, but this milk is SPOILED❌🥛
The ingredients are pretty bad, & side note... a piece of pink plastic was floating in the bottle, ew?!!!!
I actually made a loop for the ingredients because they’re curved around the bottle so much... & nowhere to be found on the internet.
MAD BEAUTY - Disney Marie Lip Balm Duo 🧶
$8/.05 oz X2 🍒Cherry & Vanilla🌿
Again, I was bummed I didn’t have any way of finding out ingredients prior to purchasing... These do contain mineral oil, which is an ingredient I personally like to avoid completely, especially in lip balm. But they do have vitamin E.
They’re so so cute, but very very small, I can really only use my pinky to apply. (Yes you read correctly 0.05 oz each! That’s 1/3 of a typical chapstick tube. They’re decently moisturizing, but nothing spectacular. The shimmer you see in the photos is barely noticeable when wearing.
I’m actually gonna rate these separately, the ingredients differ slightly & obviously there are 2 different scents.
🍒CHERRY: ⭐️⭐️ The scent is just too strong, very nauseating cherry candy 🍭😝
🤍VANILLA: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The scent for this one is actually quite nice. It’s much more subtle than the other, I love natural vanilla scents & this surprised me, it’s pretty natural smelling. Fragrance is lower on the ingredients list for the Vanilla, & vitamin E is higher on the list. This is the one gem 💎 from this haul!
🎀PS- my pets gave me the hardest time while trying to shoot this lol... Poor baby got chewed up & taken on a little trip through the dirt, but we spruced her up again with BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O wipes & my ANNA SUI - ANNA SUI Hair Brush 😂
ANNA SUI-ANNA SUI Hair Brush
Body care tends to be the one area that I don’t buy loads of different things to try. I’ve stuck to the same products for years because they just work for me to give me baby smooth skin.
Everything is from lauramercier bathandbody .I never switch up my scents either because I love these ones.
I use the;
💜 Almond Coconut Creme Body Wash.
- Promotes cellular rejuvenation.
- Hydrating, leaving skin soft.
- The fragrance helps you to relax and be calm.
- Natural ingredients to cleanse skin leaving it fresh.
This never dries me out at all, feels so nourishing.
💜 Almond Coconut Milk Scrub.
- Contains coconut milk and almond oils, which are natural moisturisers.
- Contains vitamin E oil, which protects the skin.
- Contains exfoliating beads and sugar, which gently removes dead skin cells.
- Aromatic ingredients leave skin smelling fragrant.
I usually apply this onto my NYK1 Eraser Mitt Loofa as this is gentle to the skin compared to exfoliating gloves. I usually just scoop a small amount out and this will cover my whole body.
If I just use hands I find that I use a lot more product. This leaves my skin super soft it’s not a harsh grainy body polish so it doesn’t leave my skin red. I’ll use this minimum once per week but usually I’ll use it twice.
💜 Fresh Fig Soufflé Body Creme.
- Silky, smooth texture.
- Rich with vitamins A, C and E.
- Helps soothe the skin.
- Contributes to the nourishment of skin.
- Works to provide moisture balance.
This smells heavenly I would have this scent for the whole range but they don’t do it for wash and scrub which is a shame. This is such a rich buttery cream that absorbs almost instantly so doesn’t leave you all sticky. My skin is super smooth. I can have eczema and this helps keep it under check.
💜 Fresh Fig Honey Bath.
- Contains shea butter and macadamia nut oil to soften.
- Maintains moisture.

How To Upgrade Your Bath Time
One thing most of us seriously neglect is our shower/bath time. Showering or bathing is something we have the privilege of doing every day so why not make it special and take that time to relax, unwind, and ease stress? Taking time for yourself is important as it helps us connect with ourselves, balance our days and improve our overall well being. Here's a great way to start taking advantage of your time and leaving the bathroom feeling rejuvenated.
To prep your bath make sure it’s filled to the temperature of your liking and drop in some bath soak. I like to use the Fur Bath Beads because they include clean ingredients such as the seaweed casing unlike most bath beads that are made with gelatin. If you are showering I like to add a bit of epsom salt at the base of my shower so when the water mix’s your whole bathroom will be filled with the refreshing aroma. Dr.Teals lavender is my favorite to use right before bedtime. Another option is to hang some fresh eucalyptus above your shower head. The steam will activate the eucalyptus helping to clear sinuses, congestion and inflammation.
Next you'll want to find a great body scrub. A scrub will give you the deep clean and help remove dead skin cells. It's important to take your time when using your scrub and pay closer attention to any neglected areas such as elbows and knees. One of my favorite scrubs in Dove, this formula is gentle yet effective. They have a variety of scents, one of my favorites is the pomegranate that leaves my skin feeling energized and super soft.
After you've enjoyed your time soaking and giving your skin the deep clean it deserves it's time to finish up with body oil. All the hot water can sometimes leave our skin needing a bit more moisturizing. Using a body after you take your time drying off will help nourish your skin deeply as oils have a higher capacity to penetrate deeper into the skin. Frank Bod’s Booty Drops not only leaves your skin moisturized but also works to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and signs of aging.
There are so many ways you can customize your bath routine making it super intimate and special for your me time.

DIY Nails At-Home
Can I talk about how much I miss my nail tech and how I’ll never take them for granted... ever. The work they put in is unmatched! The cow print nails you see above was done by my lovely nail tech. However, months went by in the quarantine and I couldn’t take it anymore, so I put matters into my own hands. Here’s what I used & the steps:
First, I filed the top layer off using Beauty 360° - Designer Nail Files
Second, I used cotton balls and aluminum foil to soak my nails in up&up - Acetone Nail Polish Remover
Third, I began to scrape off the hard gel using the cuticle pusher -> then I used the sapphire nail shaper to shape my nailsBeauty 360° - Perfect Manicure Kit
I then went back and used the nail file to smooth the base of my nails. After that, I soaked my nails in warm water with Dr Teal's - Pink Himalayan Mineral Soak
Next, I used a cuticle nipper plier to cut my cuticles before I prepped for the nail polish. Here is the polish I used:
•Base coat - Sally Hansen - Hard as Nails Vitamin Strength Serum
•Main color - essie - Enamel Nail Polish
•Tips - L.A. Girl - Gel Extreme Shine in colors Bazinga (blue), Flex (green), Good Vibes Only (peach), Giggles (bubbly pink), Pinky Swear (darker pink)
Top Coat - Sally Hansen - Dries Instantly Top Coat
I hope this helps some of you find your own creativity in your at-home nails!💅🏾
