Love this eye serum..... it is so moisturizing and hydrating!!! I love DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serumand would recommend it for anyone
Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex™ Eye Serum
DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum Drunk Elephant’s Shaba eye serum sticks to the brand’s clean, biologically-optimal philosophy, touting an ingredient list free from alcohol, fragrance, essential oils, mineral oil, parabens, paraffin, as well as silicone. Instead, this eye cream incorporates black tea ferment, niacinamide, copper peptides (amongst other peptides), CoQ10, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer (a better hyaluronic acid) and vitamin E in a hydrating base of glycerin, coconut alkanea, mango seed butter, soybean oil, sea buckthorn oil, and marula oil. I’ve used this eye cream for months and absolutely love it. It is a thinner eye cream, which isn’t an issue for me since I apply my moisturizer to my eye area before application anyways, and spreads easily. I use about half a pump, which is enough to cover both my eye areas and brows. I’ve experienced increased lash/brow growth with this serum (a pleasant side effect of the peptides, I imagine) as well as plumping of the barely-there lines trying to appear at the corner of my eyes. I’ve experienced no irritation despite having super sensitive skin and eczema, which isn’t a surprise from such an amazing brand. I definitely recommend this product for anyone looking to prevent/treat signs of premature aging around the eye!

My Current Skin Routine! ✨
Hello! 👋🏻 I’m new to the app and I’m already OBSESSED with it and here’s my first post! 💘 let’s be friends please!!! I want to post what cleansers I’ve been using separately since I use quite a few 😇 This is everything I do after cleansing and towel drying my face. I also feel like it’s super important to wait at least 60 seconds between each product to really give them a moment to soak and work into the skin. I use a hand fan to speed up the process! My whole skin care routine prolly takes about 15-20 minutes 😅🤪 ✨ Estée Lauder Soft Clean ~ this is what I’m currently using as a toner. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite, but I also don’t hate it. It leaves the face feeling super firm. It’s a very moisturizing toner. I like to try new things and always have different toners in my routine and I would say my favorite to this day is still Avedas exfoliant which I’ll be purchasing after I use this bad boy up! I just apply a small amount of my toner to a cotton round and apply it to my face, neck, and chest. ✨ Shiseido ultimune power infusing concentrate ~ I’m embarrassed that I’ve rebought this 3 times considering its price point but it is LIQUID GOLD. My skin is never truly at its best without this in my routine! This serum helps in fortifying the skin to help in its ability to defend itself against life’s daily hardships (sun, air pollution), reduce aging, and has amazing ingredients in it that leaves the skin stronger, and healthier. All you need is one full pump, which is barely a half a drop, that will be plenty for your face, neck, and chest. ✨ Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream ~ this moisturizer was just introduced back into my life a few weeks ago when I realized it may be a drug store dupe for Clinique’s Moisture Surge 😍😍 it’s just as moisturizing and DEFINITELY beats their price point! The oil-free, light weight formula leaves the face feeling super hydrated and supple. ✨ Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff ~ omgggg I will NEVER buy another under eye cream (I probably will.. but this is my FAVORITE). I have never found and under eye cream that actually illuminates my under eyes the way this one does! It makes me not even want to wear makeup which is something I NEVER say! Wearing this under makeup only makes the look 100% more flawless!! I also believe it’s super important to apply your under eye cream with your ring finger in a tapping motion. The skin underneath your eyes is so incredibly delicate so I would try to pay attention to how hard you are rubbing your face/eyes when applying your products ESPECIALLY when removing makeup!!! 💘💘💘
Skin Barrier MUST HAVES & HOLY GRAILS!
These are the products that helped repair my skin and are HOLY GRAILS🙌🏼 • I wanted to stick with products I trust and I’ve had good experiences with in the past, only 2 of these are newer to me. • 🌀 I first cleansed with the Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser, this is my go to when my skin is getting out of shape in anyway. It’s so gentle, calming, and most of all I can always trust it! • 🌀 I then would go in with the @tower28beauty spray, this is one of the products that’s newer to me. I wouldn’t always use this because truth be told I would forget sometimes. But when I did use it I noticed a difference. • 🌀 Next, I use one of my HOLY GRAIL products the @firstaidbeauty Hydrating Wild Oat toner. I am OBSESSED with this product, I simply just can’t be without it. It’s SO hydrating! I can’t recommend this stuff enough! • 🌀 After I went in with my favorite eye cream the @origins Ginzing, this doesn’t have any effect on my skin barrier but I wanted to include it because I LOVE it! • 🌀 Next, I’d use old trusty @cerave PM, I love this stuff so much. It’s so good and I can ALWAYS trust it! It’s a great basic moisturizer with great ingredients. • 🌀 And finally I’d top everything off with the First Aid Beauty Barriair Cream. This product was also new to me, I started using a sample I had and immediately purchased the full size. This product definitely was one that helped my skin feel fast. The texture of this moisturizer is INSANE, I’m obsessed and will also always have this in my collection!

“Simplicity is key” is not a cliche
I am a junior formulaic chemist in the skincare industry. My work is what I love. I get to make stuff I’m addicted to using! But what I love more is helping people around me understand what the hell is going on with their skin. More often than not, the issue is... we be doin too much. I don’t have problematic skin per say but she is sensitive, picky, and temperamental. For a while I fell down the 10 step skin care routine rabbit hole. I put a toner on my face, a serum, another serum, aloe Vera gel, and two heavy moisturizers. I thought that would make me glowy. Wrong. Instead what happened was my skin started growing bacteria. Fungal acne, my new worst enemy. There was too much going on. I had little spots on my forehead I couldn’t get rid of. So like any other skin care junkie I decided to combat it with even MORE products. When that didn’t work, I thought about how my skin was in high school. A single pimple during my time of the month and that was it. Why wasn’t my skin fussy back then? It’s cuz I didn’t do much back then. I scaled back. I used simple skin care with simple ingredients. I used skin care from the same brand to see if the way they work together benefitted me. Low and behold, my fungal acne was defeated. But then came eczema. As I’ve gotten older, my seasonal allergies have taken over my life. Not only do I have to go out of my way to keep itchy eyes and sneezes at bay, but eczema so graciously decides to find a home under my eyes. Insert eye creams. Insert... two eye creams. Truly a dynamic duo. All the products tagged here are my holy grail items. I’m loyal to them and will die for them. They continually fix my skin when she’s acting up and give her a pat on the back when she’s behaving. I’m back on my cycle of getting one blemish per month and I keep that at bay with DifferinGel & acne patches. Sometimes when we cut back, our skin will thank you. Tips: Don’t wet your face before putting this cleanser on. Weird. I know. But don’t. Let your dry skin drink this in first. Then add water to foam it up after it’s completely rubbed in. Your skin will feel 10 times more moisturized after cleansing this way. Don’t towel dry your face. Let it air dry. Pat the water in. Use a hand fan. A sopping wet face? Yeah. That’s what we want. Letting your face air dry allows your face to drink that water! The Hyaluronic acid serum retains water from the air and the water already on your skin. Youre giving your serum a boost if you let your face air dry. That’s where the moisture will be retained from.
Why You Need Niacinamide In Your Life Right Now
Ingredient Breakdown - Niacinamide Edition 🖤 Niacinamide is my absolute favorite skincare ingredient absolutely everyone can benefit from. Benefits: Regulates Oil Production Reduces Redness/Inflammation Treats Hyperpigmentation Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles Protects Skin From Environmental Aggressors Personally, my skin type is dehydrated yet oily skin with post acne hyperpigmentation and redness/inflammation. This has done wonders for evening out my skin tone and reducing a lot of the redness in my skin. I recently stopped using it for 8 day’s now to try something else out and it made me realize how much it kept my redness at bay. It also has really regulated my oil production which in turn has made my pores appear smaller (because excess oil isn’t constantly being clogged). I use the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner daily, followed up by the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum , and then I use the CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream (which contains niacinamide to help with dark circles) and I have really seen it’s brightening affect and oil control properties. I’ve been using it for at least half a year now if not longer but you should start to see some results in 6-12 weeks. It’s something you really need to be using daily. For its protection and anti wrinkle properties literally everyone can use this product but if you have enlarged pores, acne, hyperpigmentation and/or oily skin this will absolutely be your best friend. If anyone watches Skincare by Hyram on YouTube he talks about this a lot. It’ll regulate your oil production therefor excess oil will not be produced and clog the pores (which paired with weekly exfoliation will help reduce acne). While it’s doing that it’s brightening properties will help even out the skin tone and address any post acne hyperpigmentation and inflammation.

Summer skincare routine /my favorites
As a combination, my skin is really sensitive to weather. Im extremely dry on cheeks during winter time and oily in T-area during summer. It’s kind of hard for me to find a stable routine through out the year. Here comes my summer favorite skincare routine with these three products that never go wrong. Oily skin is caused by dehydration and regulate skin moisture and grease balance. For my summer skincare, I’m mainly looking at products that supplement sufficient moisture and nutrition to the skin. Avène - Hydrance AQUA-GEL This gel cream is my favorite cream through out the year. Avene is famous for its gentle element. One thing I love about this product is that it is a multi-purpose, lightweight gel leaves complexion dewy, luminous and refreshed finish. It is super hydrating and gentle and can be used as a daily moisturizer, overnight mask and along the eye contour. This hydrating aqua cream-in-gel is an all-in-one, hydration powerhouse. The formula applys purifying and relieving element, assist to balance water and oil, and make skin healthy and clear. At the same time, it also improves dullness, minimizes pores and regulates moisture-oil balance。 ESTĒE LAUDER - Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex It is always important to apply a good moisturizer in the eye area at an early age to avoid these wrinkles. This eye cream can release the puffy problem your eyes be having. I normally pay extra attention around my eye area which is the major area that indicates aging on face. I’ve tried several products that caused fat particles around eye areas. I will insist on using it every day. It keeps my skin around the eyes from aging. DECORTÉ - Sun Shelter Multi Protection Without the protection of sunscreen, just a few minutes of daily sun exposure over the years can cause noticeable changes in how skin looks and feels, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. I always ask myself “Do i have enough sunscreen on?” Summer time is coming, finding the right product can protect your skin from these damaging ray. Unlike many sunscreen in stores, this sunscreen feels very rich, texture is nice and dont need a lot so it will last ages. Absorbs well and feels fresh.I love it!
Holy grail products for evening care
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum Oh the best of the best night serums that have ever been introduced to the beauty market! I was finally influenced to purchase this product because of one of my favorite beauty editors, Eleanor Pendleton. She talks about this all the time on her Instagram. This is pretty expensive, so I’m so happy that my skin loves it. This serum is so hydrating to the skin. I like using it during daytime and nighttime cause my skin feels amazing every time I apply this. It immediately feels extra plump, soft, and smooth. The smooth factor it brings to my face is just incredible. If you can’t decide whether to buy it or not, just buy it. Your skin will thank you. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex This is a gamechanger in the eye treatment product category. Lately, my eyes look extra tired because of all the screen time I have, and I’ve been working extra harder during the quarantine period so I don’t really get at least 7 hours of sleep. I use this every night for about a week now as the last step in my skincare routine. Just like the Night Repair Serum, I use this day and night. My under eye area remarkably looks brighter now even if I only have about 5 hours of sleep. I even apply it during the day when I feel like my skin becomes tight (when I’m not wearing makeup), and it instantly makes me look more awake. 100% recommend this product!

fresh - Black Tea Firming Eye Serum It provides “corset like effect” that gives the delicate eye area a firmer, lifted look. It is for all skin types. It targets fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, uneven skin texture, loss of firmness and elasticity. It is formulated with * black tea complex that improves skin elasticity. * peptides that reduce puffiness and * goji berry extract that boosts firmness The serum is clear and has gel-like texture, light in consistency. It absorbs quickly and spreads evenly across the skin The scent is also very mild. I have been using it for 3 months at night before putting on my eye cream. It doesn’t irritate my skin. It makes my eye area plump and firm. The price is $72 for 0.5 oz. But a little goes a long way. This is a nice serum, so all worth the price. I recommend this to anyone who wants firmer under-eye area. The product is really gentle and hydrating too.
Fresh’s Black Tea line is one of my favorites from their products. The eye serum is no different. The gel texture absorbs well and helps reduce puffiness. A little goes a long way and a bottle lasts me quite some time.

love these two in the winter for an extra kick of hydration! I use them as serum before my moisturizer! highly recommend!!CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Eye 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate
Clinique Moisture Surge Eye Fuller
🌸What are the claims? It is an ultra lightweight, cushiony water gel that helps the eye skin replenish its own moisture for a full 96 hours of intense, crease plumping moisture. For all skin types & textures. Formulated for dark circles, puffiness, dryness, loss of firmness, & elasticity. 🌸Texture/Consistency? It is a lightweight gel, very smooth. 🌸My thoughts? I really enjoy this eye gel! It’s very moisturizing & it didn’t irritate my sensitive dry skin. I like the color of the gel because it makes my under eyes look so bright & de puffed. It smells like roses & is very gentle on my eyes. I personally don’t see a difference in the wrinkles, lines or elasticity in my skin. All I see is hydrated under eyes that feel amazing. I probably wouldn’t repurchase the full size, i don’t care for it enough. 🌸Price Vs. Size? For .5 oz it’s $34 , kind of pricey! CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Eye 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate

Not A Revolutionary Eye Product
TATCHA - The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment I was really excited about this product when I saw that it could provide dark circle coverage AND treat them over time! Unfortunately I don’t feel like it lived up to the hype... The coverage is very minimal, especially if you have more severe dark circles like me. If anything, it’s more of a brightener that still requires colour correction/concealer. In terms of treating my under eyes, I did not notice any improvement to my dark circles, fine lines, or dullness, even after consistent use. A couple important notes if you are considering getting this: - this is not great for dry undereyes as it accentuates the flakes and dryness - but if you have relatively smooth undereyes this goes on nice and sits well, even on no-makeup days - a little goes a very long way with this; you literally only need the size of a rice grain for each eye
Tatcha eye illuminating cream
TATCHA - The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment I got a sample size of this and have been using it for about two weeks. I feel like this is something between an eye cream and a light concealer, which is very unique and amazing in my opinion. It’s very lightweight, like a thin lotion and comes in three shades. Three are obviously not enough shades but since they don’t really cover too much, I think they work for most skin tones. I didn’t find it super hydrating, but I do like to use this on days that I don’t wear face makeup but want to look a little more awake. It covers a little bit but doesn’t make the rest of my face look weird if that makes sense. For me this is just too expensive and I don’t think it really does something overtime. You’re probably better off using a eye cream and light concealer in my opinion. Great idea though!

Nightly routine 🌙✨
My current go to favorite nightly products. These definitely help my dry skin stay super soft and plump. After washing my face I start with the following products in the order I apply them. Youth to the people adaptogen deep moisture cream: I’ve been using this for both morning and night and let me tell you it has left my skin beyond soft and really moisturized. I make sure my layer is not to thick. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi Clinique pep start eye cream: I apply a small amount under my eyes and making sure I don’t tug on the skin and gently pat it on. I also apply this on my lids AND on my upper lip, since the skin above our lips is sensitive and we tend to get smile lines there too. I’ve been liking this eye cream since is has no scent and feels good on my skin. CLINIQUE - Pep-Start Eye Cream Origins drink up intensive overnight mask: I’ve been using this mask for years and it has significantly improved my skin. I used to be super dry and this has saved me. It smells fresh and gives me a hint of lime scent. In the morning my face feels beyond soft and I highly recommend this. ORIGINS - Drink Up-Intensive Overnight Mask to Quench Skin's Thirst Laneige lip sleeping mask: I apply a small amount right before I go to sleep and in the morning I have super soft lips. The scent is so yummy, it smells like berries. LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

This brand is for sure one of my favorites. All products are energized with rose quartz to pass on the vibrations of love with every application 💗💗. While that might not be for everyone, just the fact that they put that much care into making sure each person gets the best product they can provide, little details like that make me more inclined to spend my money. Not only that, all products are formulated without any sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrance, synthetic colors, T.E.A., D.E.A., glycols, silicones, PEGs. ethoxylate and formaldehyde free performance | full star | even skin tone & texture, great for all skin types with being thin and easy to absorb yet super hydrating texture | full star | lightweight, non-greasy, sink right in to the skin scent | full star | heavenly! Fresh, floral, yet subtle packaging | full star | super cute rose gold accents on screw tops, love how the the bottles are sandblasted so the oils don’t create a slippery aftermath, recyclable glass bottles and boxes, minimal verbiage and clutter on bottles and boxes ingredients | full star | 99% naturally derived organic ingredients in eye and face oil, 67% organic ingredients in body oil with second ingredient & only not organic, no irritation from essential oils value | full star | because they actually work, I’m giving it a full star. Comparable prices to similar products/brands, but more care with ingredients, transparency and quality. $68 face, $58 body, $38 eye I love applying the body oil on damp skin in the shower, feel like it absorbs all the way while I do my skincare routine, then I don’t get any residual on clothing. I also only use the eye oil at night, it’s not ideal for makeup application.
All About Eye Care- Kora Organics
This is my first and only product from Kora Organics and I’m impressed. My combination skin seems to not mind an oil based eye treatment. A little under my eyes is all I need to prevent dry, wrinkly under eyes. I’ve been using this eye oil for over a year and it is my absolute favorite alongside Drunk Elephant’s Shaba Eye Cream.
Today I want to feature the Murad Retinol Youth renewal serum ⭐️Function ⭐️ Claims improve the look of wrinkles all around eyes, including lids. The formula delivers up to 24 hours of hydration while visibly brightening and is ophthalmologist tested. ⭐️Target /Concerns ⭐️ it’s made for all skin types & tested safe on sensitive skin . It targets Fine Lines and Wrinkles, Dullness and Uneven Texture, Loss of Firmness and Elasticity ⭐️Texture / Consistency ⭐️ this cream is very thick and rich has a white color ⭐️My honest opinion ⭐️ I have very dark hereditary under eyes , unfortunately eye creams or serums don’t do much . I’ve tried every eye cream or serum known to man . I really have . I decided to try this due to the retinol . I’m a firm believer in retinol , it’s proven to work . So for me this is more of a preventive eye cream for future wrinkles ect , it does not brighten my eye area but it does keeps it moisturized. The retinol would be the only reason I would recommend this to someone . It’s priced at $85 at Sephora Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum

Hydrating Eye Serum
Pixi Collagen Eye Serum This is a lightweight yet rich serum designed to hydrate, brighten & plump the undereyes. Made for tired eyes and those who struggle with dryness. Texture is a cooling lightweight gel that instantly absorbs into the delicate eye area. I’ve been using this for a few weeks and am really enjoying it. I bought it because I have dry undereyes and am always looking for extra hydration. Cakey concealer is not for me! I’ve been using this every night before my eye cream. I like the applicator and the cooling sensation it provides. My eyes are def extra hydrated lately and it’s wintertime- so that’s saying something. Yes I’d recommend this anyone who has dry undereyes- or if your concealer tends to cake on you- try this out. It’s $24 at target and I feel like this tube will last me a while. You only need a little bit and it spreads super easily. Love that it’s available at target my second home. Definitely worth it, especially in winter/cooler temps. 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great Eye Serum
IOPE - Whitegen Eye Spot Serum This is a unique eye serum from Korean luxury brand, IOPE. Did you know IOPE is part of the Amore Pacific family which also includes InnisFree, Mamonde, and Sulwhasoo? It is a luxury line that's focused on using ingredients derived from plant cells, particularly those of "super plants". In addition to containing whitening ingredients, this eye serum has a unique applicator (see the second photo) to gently massage the serum into your eye area. I've used it like this and it feels nice and I feel like it might help the serum penetrate a little bit better! The texture of this is unremarkable as you can see from the picture - a basic creamy white eye cream. How did this work for me? I liked it a lot. I'm not sure how much it whitened my eye area, but my eyes felt hydrated after using it. I have extremely dark genetic circles so there's no hope for me, and no serum will do enough to alleviate my need to use concealer. My eye area is pretty sensitive and I'm often scared to use new products so I'm happy to report I experienced NO irritation with this! I definitely think this is a good sensitive skin option then. This retails around $40 for a (large for an eye serum) 25ml tube. It's expensive but a lot cheaper than eye serums from US brands like Drunk Elephant (for example, Shaba Complex is $64 for just 15ml). So for a luxury product this is a good deal, and the applicator is very unique. I rate this 5/5 stars! This is a nice eye serum at a good price that might brighten your eye area slightly. I also like the applicator, it’s much cleaner and more sanitary than a jar.
IOPE-Whitegen Eye Spot Serum
Lilfox Miami Kalahari Brightening Eye Serum
*product not listed in catalogue Another product discovered through a Beauty Heroes monthly box. I’m personally so avoidant of eye products, serums, creams, gels, as I’m extremely prone to milia and would understandably like to avoid that at all costs. So I approached this eye product with apprehension, used once every 3 nights for a couple weeks, then increased frequency until I reached a nightly basis. This “serum” is an oily texture, I usually associate serums with products that are thinner and sink in and oils are oils but being a very thin oil, I’ll accept it as a serum category and move on. It sinks in quickly and doesn’t leave the eye area feeling too greasy, that being said, idk if I’d ever recommend using it during the day (idk how it interacts with concealer under the eyes because I don’t conceal my dark circles) I love and hate the delivery system. The rollerball feels great but I can’t tell if that’s a surefire way to contaminate the rest of your product, so I’m pretty meh on that. Honestly I didn’t see much of anything happen when I used this product. I don’t feel like it brightened my under eye area or make it appear more firm or lifted or anything. It didn’t give me milia and for that I commend it. There isn’t much more to say about that. It’s $68 for 10 ml and didn’t do anything for me. For that I can’t recommend it for anything more than moisturization purposes and even then I’m sure you could find that in a much less expensive product. You’d really have to love the brand or ingredients list to pick this up. 2/5 stars - amazing ingredients, love the brand, iffy on the rollerball, didn’t do anything.
No results: Murad Youth Renewal Eye Serum
I’ll cut to the chase: I used this for a month, and so no results. I don’t know why I keep being drawn back to the brand. I haven’t found a single product to give me results! Maybe that’s just me. It had a beautiful texture, and did not dehydrate or dry out my skin the way some retinol products tend to do. But it also didn’t make a dent in my fine lines. It just kind of did nothing? It’s expensive for something that does nothing. I only used it at night, so I can’t say it it’s good under makeup, but I didn’t have a problem applying creams over it. I did not find it increased my light sensitivity, but again, I did not wear it during the day. For a small bottle at $85, this product is not worth trying out. For reference, I am 29, and have mild lines around my eyes but nothing terrible. Sometimes my eye area is dry or dehydrated. Perhaps someone with a different skin type, or skin that has matured more will fare better. Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum

Pixi Collagen Eye Serum
I purchased the Pixi collagen eye serum from Target a few months ago. It easily because my favorite eye product that I have owned since purchasing. It is meant to hydrate and plump the eye area which I think it does. The skin around my eyes is so dry especially in the winter, and this has helped keep some hydration locked in. The serum is extremely light and sinks into the eye area really quickly. It doesn’t leave a sticky feeling like some eye serums. This isn’t a retinol or a trying active so it pretty much just hydrates the skin. If you suffer from a sensitive eye area, this is probably a good choice. I’m not sure what the future of this product is because pixi no longer stocks it on their site. It is still on targets site so I’m not sure if it’s just a target specific product. I give this 5 stars because it works really well for me. It’s not magical but it is gentle and effective which is why it’s my favorite. If you want a simple, inexpensive eye serum for some added hydration, I would check this out. pixi - Collagen Eye Serum
