What’s in my bag
I love a good bag photo with goodies! Think how cute this would be as a gift! REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge I love this sponge. Will never buy another brand again! e.l.f. - Primer-Infused Blush These blushes are so affordable and really beautiful for the drugstore. I do wish they had more shades in the range though! Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer This is cream bronzer is GORGEOUS! So much product for the price too. COLOURPOP - Lippie Pencil These lip pencils are super creamy and glide on the skin so beautifully. If you like a more stiff formula, I’m not sure this is a pencil for you.

Sponge or brush? 🤔
What type of tool do you prefer to apply your foundation? I personally am a big fan of these two. The REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge is such a staple in my collection, I can’t believe it took me so long to try it. It blends even my creamiest concealer like a dream. This paddle brush is also one of my favorites! It’s similar to the infamous Artis brushes in shape but I bought it at a small Korean shop. It’s so easy to use thanks to the ergonomically handle and doesn’t absorb a ton of product thus providing fuller coverage. I’m more keen of a sheer finish and dewy skin but sometimes I do like a medium satin finish. I used my brush on one side of my face and the beauty sponge on the other, you can see on the brush side my under eyes look slightly less noticeable. I used a sheer concealer since I’m not going anywhere lol but that’s the main difference I note since these two both blend makeup beautifully. I think it just all comes down to preference because these two are just lovely in my opinion ☺️

Is this electronic foundation brush better?? 🤔
Long past are the days where you put foundation on with your hands. I’m so thankful for the many beauty tools we have today that help apply foundation evenly. For foundation I decided to test two very popular, and different, options. For manual we have the fan favorite beauty blender versus the Clarisonic foundation brush head for electronic. Manual versus electronic. Which will come out on top? First up is the beautyblender - Pro . This sponge retails for $20 which I find completely over priced. The sponge itself is very soft. The sponge applies foundation beautifully. It’s very easy to use as well! You wet it, ring it out, and bounce the product all over the face. The major disadvantages would be you have to replace it every couple of months and they can get dirty really fast. I’ve also had sponges rip on me in the past but that really depends on how you take care of them. They also have a tendency to soak up product more than a brush. Second up is the clarisonic - Sonic Foundation Brush Head . It retails for $39 which is EXTREMELY over priced in my opinion. The only reason I bought this was because Tati (on YouTube) has a promo code once a year with them where it’s only $19. It’s very easy to install into the Clarisonic. It pops in just like any other brush head. You turn on the Clarisonic and the device oscillates to help spread foundation over the face. Unlike a sponge, a brush won’t soak up as much product. My issue with this is it didn’t blend my foundation out at all. It just moved it around in one spot. I tried and tried but for the life of me I couldn’t get it to distribute the product over my face. They say it applies your foundation flawlessly in under a minute and I found this to be not true. Personally I think manual is way better in this scenario. The sponge is full proof, easy to use, and gives you a flawless base while the brush head doesn’t even distribute foundation like it’s supposed to. I think both are over priced but you can find cheap sponges where the Clarisonic brush head is usually always overpriced. Despite the fact that the Clarisonic brush head is meant to save time and make application easier it actually made it harder.

Beauty Blender Pro 🖤
This is going to sound weird but I prefer the beautyblender - Pro way more than the original. I feel like the pro works better, doesn’t fall apart as fast, and doesn’t get as dirty but that’s all personal feelings. That being said I do really like the Beauty Blender. It’s the OG blending sponge. That being said I don’t think it’s necessarily worth it anymore. $20 for a sponge is really expensive! Honestly the original Real Technique sponges work just as well and they are $5.99. But if you have the money to spend I do really like the beauty blender and I think it does a great job creating a flawless foundation base! It’s very soft.

Beauty Tools - 3 brushes, all foundation brushes that are all great but can be used in different ways 👍
Real Techniques Setting Brush, so technically this is called a setting brush but I think it’s a multi-purpose brush, great for concealer, foundation, contour, and powder. Best for light coverage application, a very feathery brush, and super easy to clean. It does have synthetic fibers but this makes it cruelty-free and it’s CHEAP usually $8 on Amazon ✨ this is a great brush for learning your make up technics. Makeup Forever 108 Large Foundation Brush, I love this brush, it’s a large, great for quick application and fast way to get high coverage on the face and body. This brush is a professional brush and isn’t cheap at $50 but its such a pretty brush and it has straight fibers, which means really even coverage. Lots of people with particular needs use it to cover serious acne or even burns 💪🏼 the only thing I would say it’s not that easy to clean!   Zoeva Silk Finish 102 Brush. This is my choice, at $18, it’s a great brush, thick and compacted round brush, perfect for buildable coverage. I use it for cream and liquid foundation, blush or contouring, works best used in a circular motion. Really easy to clean and good to look at! ☀️ It’s all very well having lovely makeup and foundation but if you don’t have the tools to put it on with, the foundation could look blotchy and uneven. Take my advice as a life long makeup fan, use a brush, you’ll see a difference right away 💋

Favorite brushes for setting powder!
These are two of my favorite brushes for using setting powder, particularly around my eyes! Best part is that they’re both SUPER affordable. The e.l.f. brush is actually their blush brush, but I find that the tapered shape is perfect for applying setting powder. It’s only $4 and available at Ulta, Target and CVS. I love it for setting both under my eyes and the rest of my face since it’s a larger size. The Real Techniques setting brush is the perfect size for setting your under eyes and eyelids. It ranges from $4-$8 and can be found at some drugstores, Target and Ulta. It’s also a great highlighter brush. e.l.f. - Blush Brush REAL TECHNIQUES - Setting Brush

Tati’s The Blendiful | MINI
Hi received this cute little guy from my sister because she had bought the full size Blendiful from Tati. I love this. I used to put in my loose power with my sponge but now I use this every day. I just think that it makes my face look super airbrushed and doesn’t cake it on like a beauty sponge does (I wear my makeup with a very light coverage). You can use this or the larger sized product to put on your primer, foundation, concealer, contour, powders, and highlight. I personally only use it for my powders but I wouldn’t be opposed to trying it for everything else. You can find this online for $18 with the large and small Blendiful. TATI BEAUTY - The Blendiful

GAMECHANGER!! Fav makeup tool!!
Tati Beauty Blendiful This product is game changing! This product is a makeup applicator that has a soft textured fabric tool that beautifully blends in makeup products. You can use this makeup applicator to apply both liquid and powder products. You can also use this product to apply makeup products in hard to reach areas of the face. The blendiful comes with two different applicators. One big blendiful and one baby blendiful. The bigger blendiful is a lot smaller, but they both beautifully apply products! I have been using this for a month now and I love it! It is super easy to use and can be used for so many different things. Personally, I love to use this to apply my foundation, concealer and my setting powder. It makes my skin look super airbrushed and flawless. I would definitely recommend this product to others. The two applicators retail for $18. I think it is super worth the price since it comes with two applicators and they are reusable!

This is the best brush cleaner on the market.
This is the best brush cleaner on the market.
Clean brushes are the first defense against germs and acne-causing bacteria. Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner was created to instantly clean and condition an artist's most important tools. Seriously I wish I would have tried this stuff sooner. It makes your brushes clean in seconds!! Seriously recommend this to anyone Who has more then let’s say 15 brushes including eye brushes. Because before this stuff. I would put off to the point where my brushes need to be clean because they had so many different shadows on them. And I have close to maybe 50 so I was always that thing you put off and put off until you couldn’t no more. Well this stuff is now a game changer for me. This stuff is amazing. It does have a strong vanilla smell but I see is well worth it. I’d rather have that smell and really not that bad, then to spend at least two hours washing my brushes making sure I get all the soap out and then lay them dry for basically two days or one day at the fan on. I will definitely be re-purchasing this item and I’m Definitely gonna be but getting The much bigger size. Although it may not take it may take me a long time to get through the 8 ounce depending on how often I clean my brushes now. If your make up lover get the stuff you will not be disappointed.

{What are the claims?} Sigma Sigmagic Brushampoo Foam is a antimicrobial cleanser that quickly cleans & conditions your makeup brushes with an all natural formula! It is tough enough to penetrate even the toughest pigment & foundations, without damaging or stripping the brush hairs. It prevents the growth of bacteria for up to two weeks, and it’s hypoallergenic. {Texture/Consistency?} A very thick creamy foam, it was white and buttery! {My thoughts?} I got this in the spring of 2019 to use for my makeup artist brushes and I love it! I use this to deep clean my brushes after every makeup application and it always gets everything out. It leaves my brushes clean and soft. They are mainly white or black with white tips and this gets all the eyeshadow and bronzer out of my brushes and leaves them super white again! They are fluffy and not stiff or oily either, the formula is great and the bottle lasted me almost a whole year. I would repurchase & recommend to fellow makeup artist or makeup lovers! It’s $19 USD For 6.7oz and I don’t think that’s too bad! Love this! SIGMA - Sigma SigMagic Brushampoo

This brush is great for applying bronzer for a healthy glow as well as using a separate one as a travel brush for setting powder. The brush is designed to hold powder well and I can definitely say it succeeds with many different types of powder. It is incredibly soft and the bristles do not fall out easily the way some other face brushes do. I’ve been using this brush for years and while I have found other powder brushes, I seem to always come back to this one. Though some may not like it, I love that it doesn’t have the long handle so many makeup brushes have. It also evenly spreads powder incredibly well compared to other inexpensive brushes. For $6-$8, this brush isn’t an investment so trying it could not have been easier. I absolutely recommend this for all sorts of routines: professional to beginner. e.l.f. - Kabuki Face Brush

sephora daily brush cleaner will give clear skin
sephora daily brush cleaner will give clear skin
A major way that acne is caused is by using dirty brushes. The bacteria from previous uses multiplies in the bristles of a brush thus causing it to infect your skin with more bacteria when you use a dirty brush again. and that means more acne! which means more makeup to cover it! bad cycle. this brush cleaner has no alcohol in it which means it won’t dry your skin out! it is made with Teatree oil and grapefruit oil and lemon oil which take good care of the bristles and clean them well without destroying their softness! The way you use it is by spraying a couple spritzers onto a towel and then gently rubbing your brush onto the towel until you see all the pigment leave the brush and transfer to the towel. I have been using this for about four months. as soon as I’m done applying my foundation I immediately use this brush cleaner to sanitize it before I use my foundation brush again tomorrow. you can also use this if you want to switch between eyeshadow colors on the same day because it is a very quick drying formula. and come on it’s only eight dollars. i’m going to be buying so many bottles. Mini no-water brush cleanser 💕
Mini no-water brush cleanser 💕
✨What are the claims? Sephora Collection mini color switch is a dry, makeup removing sponge that allows you to switch colors without having to switch brushes. ✨How to use? -glide any makeup brush in a circular motion against the sponge to remove color & switch to the next -to reuse or disinfect the sponge, ads a small drop of soap, run it under warm water & squeeze out all pigment. Leave to dry. ✨My thoughts? I got this for Christmas & I absolutely love it! I’ve never heard of something like this until recently, and I’m glad I did! 😍I added it to my makeup kit & it makes using different colors but the same brushes so easy! It’s great & I can travel with less brushes now. It is very small but works for even my large brushes, and this is only the mini! I have not had problems with breaking out or irritating my skin. I really love this brush cleanser! Especially since I’m the moment I don’t have to use water or soap! It’s awesome. Would recommend to anyone who is a makeup artist, or hates cleaning their makeup brushes! It’s an essential for my makeup tools! ✨Price Vs. Size? The mini is $14, and the full size is $18 so I would personally probably get the full size & see if it’s too high but I have liked the small size perfectly fine. #Sephora - Mini Color Switch[products]#[FourStars]

Favorite Makeup Tool - BEAUTYBLENDER

WHAT IT IS? Makeup sponge. PRODUCT TARGET CONCERNS: For those looking for airbrushed, flawless finish. TEXTURE/CONSISTENCY: Super soft and bouncy. OVERALL THOUGHTS: I can’t help it but I love Beautyblenders. I tried different (cheaper) sponges but none of them performed as good as Beautyblenders for me and none of them were as soft. With brushes sometimes my foundations tend to cling on my dry spots and facial hair but not with Beautyblender - it just creates the most natural , flawless, airbrushed finish. WHY I LIKE/DISLIKE IT: I love it because when I apply my foundations with it (especially those with medium to full coverage) it makes my finish very natural. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT ? Yes, I know lots of people would say they are cheaper options but I’ve tried several and nothing came close. IS IT WORTH IT? 1pc / $20 I always try to stock up on them during Holidays when they release various kits/sets/bundles. That way they are much cheaper.
