Saved My Oily Face
I’ve always struggle with oily face, mainly around the t-zone. I’ve tried many, many different primera and foundations and my face was oily within 2 hours of applying my make up. I’ve tried the Too Faced line and wow! I mix the primer with three drops of The Ordinary Niacinamide first, I dump my Real Technique blender and I apply the foundation. Lastly, I apply the setting powder with the same dumped blender. This make up line helps my face stay hydrated without getting oily. Too Faced - Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge Too Faced - Hangover Primer The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Too Faced - Peach Perfect Setting Powder ***bonus - I subscribed to the Too Faced email list and I get discounts promotions often. So I buy my products with them at discounted price instead of paying full time at Ulta or Sephora 😉
Affordable Beauty Blender Comparison! ✨
I love a great makeup tool. Beauty blenders have a special place in my heart when it comes to getting the perfect makeup blend. Even though I still use brushes (I’ll never let those go), I find a beauty blender just helps things get a smooth finish. I found myself buying the Original Beauty Blender & let’s just say honey I loved it but I’ll never spend $20 on another beauty blender as long as I live 🙃 sonia kashuk - Marble Makeup Blender Sponge I love this beauty blender. I got it from target for $5! To me this is closer to the feel of the Original beauty blender. It’s dense Easy to clean AFFORDABLE (how can you beat $5) REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge I know really 4/5 ⭐️? Yes I like this beauty blender because of how soft it is, but it’s very porous. When a beauty blender is too porous, it soaks up too much product! I found this leaving streak marks on my skin, and I’d have to reapply product & as expensive as my makeup is that’s a No-No! I recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want a full coverage look though. I got this from Walmart for $6!

My Must Have Complexion Tools
🤎 This one is easy for me because I just packed up all my makeup products for a cross country move and these are the two I left out for daily use. I love them, I need them, I use them all the time. 🤎 Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush: I’ll be the first to say I do not like Morphe as a brand. They are sketchy, their products are often horrible quality and overpriced, they destroyed any trust that ever existed between influencers and their audience, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love this brush. This has been my go to foundation brush for probably four years. I’ve owned a slew of other foundation brushes including much pricier ones, but this one continues to be the one I reach for the most. The bristles are tightly packed (but not so tightly packed that it blends my makeup away), the handle is the perfect size, and this blends my foundation in seconds. It’s great for smoothing full coverage, thicker foundations or for cream bronzers and blushes. I also use it for lighter coverage foundations and tinted sunscreens and moisturizers. Really just any cream or liquid complexion product this is my go to. 🤎 La Mer Powder Brush: If you were watching beauty YouTube in 2017 you’ve probably heard of this one. I remember seeing it in a Jaclyn Hill video and lusting after it for literal years and then seeing it in a Mel Thompson video and finally pulling the trigger. If the Morphe M439 is my go to for liquids and creams, this is my go to for powders. My favorite use for this is buffing a slightly luminous powder into the skin at the end of my complexion routine. This just gives a little glow, a little bit of an airbrushed finish, and ties everything together seamlessly. That being said I also use this for powder foundation (using the same buffing motion) and even bronzer. It’s soft and pleasant to use and just gives me the most seamless application and airbrushed finish. I absolutely love this brush.

Tools to Make Your Foundation Flawless 🌝
💕beautyblender - Classic Makeup Sponge Pink 💕 The classic foundation tool. It took me a while to understand how to properly use it but once I did it was life changing. Below I will give you my tips on how I use it and mistakes to avoid: How I use: Always make sure the blender is damp, I use to think you could use it while dry and you absolutely cannot (it will take you a year to blend in your makeup if you use it dry) Wash every use! This thing will you become a petri dish if you don’t wash it. I just use baby shampoo because I always have that at home. Replace every three months. This will ensure your blender is fresh and you’re not pressing bacteria into your pores. I use the beauty blender after I’ve covered my entire face with a foundation brush first. I then go back and use the blender for problem areas where I need more coverage. I feel like this saves me a lot of time and product. ✨IT Airbrush Blurring Foundation Brush✨ I love this foundation brush. I have been using it for about a year now and I really think it’s the best I’ve used. Below I’ll tell you why I love it: The bristles are super soft and also dense which feels great on your face and also helps with easily applying your foundation. Easy to wash. Again I use baby shampoo to cleanse. It truly does give an airbrushed finish. I do my entire face with this daily and it my makeup looks really natural and blended each time. I also feel that I don’t need to use a lot of product when I use this brush which saves money!

✨🦋 Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Compact 🦋✨
This years Sulwhasoo limited edition refillable compact was created in collaboration with Antoinette Poisson. Sulwhasoo is a Korean luxury skincare & cosmetics company, known for their “ 한방 /Hanbang “ (traditional, holistic Korean medicine) formulations. ‘A Paris chez Antoinette Poisson’ is a world renowned design house inspired by 18th Century decorative arts & production techniques. Founded in 2012, the collective produces exquisite printed papers, decorative objects & fabrics from their atelier in Paris. Named after Louis the XV's favorite mistress, The Marquise de Pompadour, both patron of the arts & wallpaper enthusiast. Sulwhasoo - Limited Edition Perfecting Cushion 2020 Spring Collection 🧵So beautiful... & plush, just like a real pin cushion! For this limited edition compact, the studio of artists at Antoinette Poisson reinterpreted traditional Korean symbols of love, prosperity & happiness in colorful & metallic embroidery. Both limited edition & regular Sulwhasoo cushion compacts retail for $65 & come filled, plus 1 refill. This is no longer available on Sulwhasoo’s site, but online stores like Bergdorfs, Nordstrom & Bloomingdales still have it in a few shades! I included some pictures of gorgeous ones from years past in my slides🦋🦌 Now onto the formula! Sulwhasoo - Perfecting Cushion Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Sunscreen shade: 23 I didn’t know if the shade I purchased was going to be correct, but I really wanted the limited edition compact! I figured I can grab a refill in another shade later. I was extremely impressed by this! I love that it has SPF 50 from a mainly mineral source & the moisturizing formula has Niacinamide as the 8th ingredient. Other botanical extracts include, Honey, Sacred Lotus flower, Peony, Solomon’s Seal, White Lily & Rehmannia. In addition to the shade concern, I was worried it would be too high coverage or too dewy for my liking based on some descriptions of the product. It boasts patented “Slim Fit High Coverage” claiming to “conceal discoloration & uneven tone as it lightly applies to skin...” Fancy descriptors can be really confusing, & often cushion compacts offer lighter coverage in general, so I still decided to try this based on so many 5⭐️ reviews on their site. I was looking for an easy to blend, light-med coverage, that would even out my tone & add radiance... this is IT! So natural!✨ I couldn’t be happier with the formula! It has a lovely soft herbal scent with a hint of light florals. So pleasant, not strong. Hydration wise, it’s very comfortable to wear & apply. My skin felt moisturized all day wearing this. After 5 hours, I could have used a light touch up, but nothing major (check all photos) I didn’t lose any coverage, just got a little shiny around my nose, quite normal for me. I don’t think the shade is that wrong either, it blends so well, & I hate looking pink! The finish is perfect, smooth & radiant, not overly matte, so I feel healthy & glowy! i💚the refill concept♻️
🧫First Impressions: Kinship probiotic SPF 32
Kinship Self Reflect probiotic moisturizing Zinc Oxide sunscreen - broad spectrum SPF 32 $25/1.75 oz KINSHIP is a “clean” & sustainable skincare brand launched last November by Alison Haljun (formerly VP of marketing at Benefit) & Christin Powell (who cofounded Juice Beauty ) ➕Every product is under $25 ! 🦠Their proprietary formula, Kinbiome™ is present in all of their 6 products. It’s a plant-based probiotic, derived from the fermentation of lactobacillus, a bacterium which produces lactic acid from the fermentation of carbohydrates. This ingredient complex supports clear skin & stronger barrier. 🔎Most of us may be familiar with prebiotic skincare, but.. what’s the difference between prebiotic & probiotic? Prebiotics: Specialized plant fiber that acts as food for the good bacteria. This stimulates growth among the preexisting good bacteria. Probiotics: Living strains of bacteria that add to the population of good bacteria in your skins microbiome. ✨This is the first product I’ve tried from Kinship. KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 🧫I was drawn to this due to good reviews & the reported vanilla scent without synthetic fragrance! I’m trying to go all mineral with my sunscreens, & this had great reviews regarding white cast. I really loved how moisturizing this was! Other sunscreens can sort of dry up my face cream, but 12 hours later & my usually dry skin feels content. It does smell like vanilla, but not very sweet due to it being from the natural extract, it kind of smells like oatmeal! I like it. The texture is quite nice, creamy & moisturizing with a slight beige tone to counter the white cast Zinc leaves as a physical sunscreen. At first the shade looked sort of ‘cool’ toned, but I didn’t feel it washed me out. ⚠️That being said, I’m very pale & I’m not sure if this would still read ashy or gray-ish on deeper skin tones. There are pictures in the slides of the texture/blending/my face etc. ⚠️Another warning, it’s very shiny. This might not be a favorite for oily skin types... I wear a lot of hydration layers & rich face cream, so it didn’t bother me that much... I applied some Chanel pressed powder & Armani liquid highlighter as blush to see how that looked, but I was still looking a touch shiny in bright light. I’m surprised I couldn’t get it to look shiny in outdoor light, but today was overcast... But let me tell you I know I was shiny! 🤍I recommend Sun Bum mineral face lotion if you’re looking for a truly matte & very affordable $18 mineral face sunscreen, both are reef safe too! My review is in a previous post☁️ 🧴I’m going to experiment with a different face cream under it tomorrow, but shininess aside, I still give it 5 stars for the way it performed on my skin & the lasting moisture. If I have to throw a lil powder on to leave the house I’m not mad at it, but I usually don’t do anything these days beyond curling my eyelashes with my Shiseido🖤

My zoom call dewy makeup look #cheriepartner
My glowing dewy makeup look for a video call . It’s elegant and beautiful, and great for lighting it’s also my quarantine at home look too. When the light hits on the skin it’s dewy and no dark spots around the face or eyes I want to make my look by my eyes bright and full and some coverage and no Matter where the light hits in my home I want my makeup to look bright and not fleshed out. So I added some bronzer on my cheeks and jaw line to contour and bring out the color in my face as well with concealer and foundation and blush to really give a natural bronze look. We all have business meetings and also school call meetings so these quick looks are perfect and quick to do before a zoom call I’m also trying out the new REVLON - Photoready Candid Antioxidant Concealer and I love it so far it definitely gives me eyes some coverage my eyes don’t look baggy or tired they look full and bright A separate video on this look will be coming soon 😊

My 3 Go To Beauty Tools
I’m mainly a skincare person so when I do make-up, I try to keep it to basics as much as possible. When I do go for it, I cannot do it without these 3 tools here. 💕1. IT Cosmetics Unstoppable Powder Brush This brush was a gift from my mom in a set from Ulta and I adore them. First of all, they last forever and they’re a great quality. They are super soft and this one is perfect for after I let my setting powder bake, for wiping off any excess gently and to get a nice smooth look. They’re also easy to clean! I could also use this for bronzer or blush too. Even a highlight really! The key with brushes, especially this one which I use all over my face, is regular cleaning so bacteria doesn’t build up and make skin breakout. I use a cleanser from Sephora that I’ve had for forever that is anti-bacterial and try to do that regularly to maintain the brush as well as my skin health. 💕2. IT Cosmetics Effortless Crease Brush This was another that was in an Ulta set from my mom. Sets are a great way to save on these but these are definitely worth it. I use this one for my eyeshadow and sometimes contour and I adore it. It’s also very soft, versatile, great quality and has lasted me forever. 💕3. Beauty Blender I recently purchased this after losing about 3 other beauty sponges because I figured this is supposed to be the best so might as well commit financially. I also find when I do that, I tend to treat them better 🤣 I’m loving this so far! I purchased it from Sephora and it’s super soft. It’s a bit smaller than I expected but that doesn’t change how I enjoy it. I find I can get bigger and smaller areas with this and I really adore it for smooth concealer and foundation/ CC cream. I know it is supposed to be lightly damp when using it, but I find it works well dry too to be honest! beautyblender - Makeup Sponge Applicator #CheriePartner
It applies my foundation better… brush or sponge
I guess a lot of girls have the same questions as me, what kind of tools could help create a flawless foundation look? Brush, sponge, or even finger? I did a foundation applying test by Artis brush and Beauty Blender sponge. Let’s see which one performs better. Beautyblender Pro Sponge $20 beautyblender - Makeup Sponge Applicator This is a drop shape sponge that can be used in different areas. I use the pointed tip to apply on tiny area like noise side and use the bottom round area over most of my face. When applying foundation, I like to make it wet, which makes the foundation soak into the skin perfectly and leaves an even and smooth application. It is easy to clean and nice to take it during travel as it only occupies a tiny spot in my cosmetic bags. Artis Elite Oval 6 $60 artís - Elite Oval 6 This is a multi-function brush designed to be used with foundation/concealer/highlighter/blush/bronzer/compact powder. But I only use it with foundation. I like the double oval design of it that make the application go on smoothly. The brush is so soft and makes my skin feel nice, which blends foundation flawlessly. It’s very pricy, but I think it is worth every penny, as the design is so unique and the product is great. As shown in the finish look picture, beauty blender sponge creates a more natural look. Artis brush looks like make the foundation have a higher coverage. The sponge is going to absorb some of the foundation. I will need to apply more pumps of foundation if I use the sponge. If I use the brush, I just need a pea size foundation, and it could cover my whole face. Both of them apply foundation better than my fingers. I love both of them! They're both my go-to. If you like the natural look, you can go with the sponge. If you like some coverage, then go with the brush.
It’s a NEED, not a WANT
I know what you’re thinking- girl a $34 foundation brush isn’t a need or a want- it’s a dream! Hear me out though, because this brush has ruined just about any other tool for me. It’s for the gal on the go: because in a few swift swipes- you’re makeup base is done! It’s for the perfectionist: because it’s blends your foundation in beautifully, letting your skin and the product become one. It’s for the beginner: because it’s effortless- a great way to introduce other techniques because your foundation is practically done for you. It’s blend-able, easy to clean, and sturdy! I personally also love the size of it- it’s stubby enough to have full control but big enough to really cover ground. I’m forever sold on this tarte brush- I don’t need any other. $35 is well worth it- it delivers on the price tag!

I bought this brush for hype and...
Finding the best makeup brushes is no easy feat, but it's important nonetheless. Choosing the right setting powder brush is probably the most important step to achieving a glowy, professional makeup artist-level complexion. REAL TECHNIQUES - Powder Brush $9 This is a versatile brush that can be used for powder and bronzer. Real Techniques is a professional makeup tool brand in the United States. The makeup brushes it produces are very suitable for starters. At the same time, the price is cheap and the high cost performance allows us to change at any time to keep the brush clean. This makeup brush has very soft bristles that can mix well with dust and mineral foundation. The makeup brush uses artificial hair, which is very easy to clean. After you use it, clean it with their makeup brush and sponge cleansers to keep it germ free. The most important thing is that the brush of this product is very, very soft. Tens of thousands of bristles are extremely fluffy, so that the brush has a very strong grip on powder, and no powder is wasted at all. I am buying the brush that I bought with Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder. The staff recommended that this brush could be well matched with Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder without spending too much time on protection. As long as the last step of makeup, I take the brush and gently press on the Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder. After shaking the excess powder a little, pour it on the face where we need to set the makeup. Compared with the built-in tools, this brush can make the makeup lighter and thinner, and the small brush head can also take care of some small corners of the face.
My first brush 🧡
This is a story about my first brush. I started with these when I started make up. They’re sustainable for all these years. REAL TECHNIQUES - Powder Brush These brushes perform like a dream, feel lovely on the face, and balance perfectly. And the prices are insanely low! Just get 'em - you'll be delighted!

Maskne friendly skincare hack: double masking!
Maskne got you down? “Maskne” is when sweat, oils, and bacteria get trapped on the skin while wearing your mask - causing a breakout or eventually hyperpigmentation. My remedy for preventing or soothing a mask related breakout is to do a double mask! Not only is it super indulgent and relaxing, but it helps purify the skin and bring back hydration. Step 1: I like to apply a clay mask with a foundation brush for even coverage and give a little extra love to problem areas. Clay masks declog pores, absorb oil from your skin and prevent mild forms of acne, such as pimples, blackheads , and whiteheads. pūrlisse - Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask + Exfoliant e.l.f. - Selfie Foundation Blurring Brush Step 2: Apply a sheet mask to give some much needed soothing and TLC! Sheet masks contain higher concentrations of key ingredients. I love the blue lotus one by Purlisse because Blue Lotus is known for its anti-inflammatory benefits to help soothe redness and irritated skin. pūrlisse - Blue Lotus + Seaweed Treatment Sheet Mask Omorovicza - Rose Quartz Face Roller
10 MINUTE NATURAL MAKEUP LOOK
I’ve finally got my 10-minute makeup look down - it’s pretty close to a no-makeup makeup look, but that’s why I like it. It’s hard to tell that I’m wearing makeup in the first place, but I know that I definitely look a little more polished than if I was barefaced. One of my tips for having a fast makeup routine is using a sunscreen that doubles as primer - it means you don’t have to apply primer as a separate step, speeding up the process! Here’s the order I apply my 10-minute routine in: ➡️ Foundation I use a thinnish layer of Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation, applying with the ELF Selfie Brush. This brush alone makes the process so quick - it blends foundation out so quickly! I apply a thinner layer so that any redness is hidden on my skin, but my natural freckles still show through. This isn’t a high coverage routine, and for on the go, this foundation is matte enough to go without powder. wet n wild - Photofocus Liquid Matte Foundation e.l.f. - Selfie Foundation Blurring Brush ➡️ Eyes I love using bronzer as eyeshadow because it adds a little definition to the eyes, without needing the precision of a proper eyeshadow look. I like to use Nars Laguna, and I’ve also combined it with mascara to open up my eye. If there’s one step I never skip, it’s mascara! It helps my eyes look much more awake and makes the biggest difference in this look. NARS - Blush/Bronzer Duo L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara ➡️ Brows I’ll fill in my brows a little bit, but a too-defined brow doesn’t suit the more natural nature of this look. I use a micropencil like the one from Maybelline, then set my brows with a brow gel. Lately, I’ve been using the Benefit 24hr Brow setter! I actually don’t like Brow Setter that much, it’s much wetter than I prefer for a brow gel. I find I can easily accidentally put too much on at once so I have to be careful. To make this routine even speedier (if I’m short on time) I would use a tinted brow gel so that there’s colour added to the brow without needing to use a pencil! MAYBELLINE - Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel ➡️ Lips In the interest of speed, I also don’t use a coloured lip product - I’ll just go for lip gloss or lip balm. LUCAS' PAPAW REMEDIES - Lucas' Papaw Ointment Lip Balm It’s a really understated look, but for me it’s enough to feel more polished and ready for the world in just ten minutes! :)

Daily mask makeup for a healthcare worker!
I know makeup and getting pretty has been the last thing on everyone’s minds for the past 5 months, but I think it’s still important to establish a morning routine somewhat similar to what we have always done. My workplace has recently become a testing site so I’m wearing the mask almost every minute I’m at work and taking care of these patients. For this reason, I’ve completely cut foundation from my daily routine. It’s just gotten super annoying and messy on my mask. So, I’ve been focusing on the eyes! I’ve been starting by using the elf putty primer on the middle of my forehead and on my cheeks. e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer I give this 3 stars because it feels nice on the skin, but I’m not really sure if it does what it claims... like it smooths out my pores a bit but it’s also kind of hydrating! Next, I start on eyeshadow! ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Norvina Eyeshadow Palette This palette is my go to for work because you literally can’t mess it up... ever. It blends flawlessly every time whether you set your eye primer or not. I usually go in with Incense in the crease with my fluffy elf brush. e.l.f. - Fluffy Eye Blender Brush I love this brush because it makes it quick and easy to spread eyeshadow throughout the crease. However, if you have hooded or small eyes you may not love it as much as I do. Then I use my finger to apply Rose Gold to the lid. Finally I’ll put passion just in the outer corner to create some depth (you can do this with your finger or with a smaller shadow brush.) After my eyeshadow is done, I dab a small amount of the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector on my under eyes starting just under my tear duct area — that is where most people tend to be the darkest. BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector I’ll dust little bit of the Too Faced powder all over my face just to make sure I don’t turn into an oily mess by mid-shift. Too Faced - Peach Perfect Setting Powder Then, I add some bronzer around the perimeter of my face, being sure to blend it into my hairline. BECCA - Sunlit Bronzer I comb through my brows with the Make Me Brow from Essence. It’s cheap and does what I need it to! essence - Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara I would rate this 5 stars, but the hold does not last very long for me. I primarily use this to add some color and volume to my brow hairs! Then some mascara and I’m done! Rodial - Glamolash Mascara XXL The whole routine can take maybe 10-15 minutes! And I know it looks like I give 4 or 5 stars to basically everything I use but... I’ve realized life is too short to use anything but your favorite products! Especially now when we can all use a pick-me-up! #cheriepartner
The miracle brush!
e.l.f. - Fluffy Eye Blender Brush This brush blends like a dream!! I want to preface this by saying that I have Sigma eye brushes that cost almost $20 that aren’t near as good as this $4 elf brush. My eye makeup is done so much quicker with this brush because it blends the shadow so effortlessly. Even with dark blues, like in the fourth photo, I didn’t have to struggle to blend them like I do with other brushes. I originally bought this because I had ulta points that were going to expire (who doesn’t need another blending brush?) and I was so pleasantly surprised! I would definitely recommend this one if you’re struggling to blend your shadows seamlessly or you feel like it’s taking too much time.
Favorite Makeup Tool - BEAUTYBLENDER
WHAT IT IS? Makeup sponge. PRODUCT TARGET CONCERNS: For those looking for airbrushed, flawless finish. TEXTURE/CONSISTENCY: Super soft and bouncy. OVERALL THOUGHTS: I can’t help it but I love Beautyblenders. I tried different (cheaper) sponges but none of them performed as good as Beautyblenders for me and none of them were as soft. With brushes sometimes my foundations tend to cling on my dry spots and facial hair but not with Beautyblender - it just creates the most natural , flawless, airbrushed finish. WHY I LIKE/DISLIKE IT: I love it because when I apply my foundations with it (especially those with medium to full coverage) it makes my finish very natural. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT ? Yes, I know lots of people would say they are cheaper options but I’ve tried several and nothing came close. IS IT WORTH IT? 1pc / $20 I always try to stock up on them during Holidays when they release various kits/sets/bundles. That way they are much cheaper.
beautyblender-Classic Makeup Sponge Pink
Mini no-water brush cleanser 💕
✨What are the claims? Sephora Collection mini color switch is a dry, makeup removing sponge that allows you to switch colors without having to switch brushes. ✨How to use? -glide any makeup brush in a circular motion against the sponge to remove color & switch to the next -to reuse or disinfect the sponge, ads a small drop of soap, run it under warm water & squeeze out all pigment. Leave to dry. ✨My thoughts? I got this for Christmas & I absolutely love it! I’ve never heard of something like this until recently, and I’m glad I did! 😍I added it to my makeup kit & it makes using different colors but the same brushes so easy! It’s great & I can travel with less brushes now. It is very small but works for even my large brushes, and this is only the mini! I have not had problems with breaking out or irritating my skin. I really love this brush cleanser! Especially since I’m the moment I don’t have to use water or soap! It’s awesome. Would recommend to anyone who is a makeup artist, or hates cleaning their makeup brushes! It’s an essential for my makeup tools! ✨Price Vs. Size? The mini is $14, and the full size is $18 so I would personally probably get the full size & see if it’s too high but I have liked the small size perfectly fine. #Sephora - Mini Color Switch[products]#[FourStars]

My must have makeup tools
On a day to day basis, I go for a glowing but natural look. To get this look, I use sponges sprayed with toner/mist (lately I’ve been obsessed with the Glow Recipe Watermelon Mist) and loose brushes. These tools let me sheer out complexion products (I’ve been using and loving the powder foundation from Urban Minerals for a while now) and build up my highlight (usually I’m a cream highlight girl, but I bought the Urban Minerals glow palette recently antly and its growing on me).
Best makeup tools
This is a MUST HAVE. This product works great when you’re switching between eyeshadow shades and don’t want to clean your brushes with each application- It completely removes the previous color so that you can keep using the same brush! Works great and it’s small and easy for travel! I’d definitely recommend! SEPHORA COLLECTION - Color Switch by Vera Mona Brush Cleaner

Best eyelash curler: Shiseido
The Shiseido eye lash curler is my all time favorite curler because it has enough tension to really make your lashes pop with minimal effort. Mascara looks better and seems to hold up longer when I use this curler first. It’s an odd tool to rave about but when your lashes are a decent length but not naturally curled, or makes a big difference! The Shiseido curler claims to work on any eye shape or size and I found this to be true. If you find that most drugstore curlers don’t do a great job where you have to pump them a lot, then try this one out! I was a non believer until I saw how much more open my eyes looked. Please excuse my skin, I’m trying to get it back in order after some recent breakouts. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler

Normally I dust my brushes off on something and later on wash them...but a friend had one of these so after trying it I had to go buy one. It’s a little can that you open up and just glide your makeup brushes over and it cleans them for you! No water needed. Works great and the best part is it only cost $1 at dollar tree!
