A Satisfying Texture | Foundation for Dry Skin❤️
Look at this awesome close up of the AMOREPACIFIC - Color Control Cushion Compact Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 50 😍 I have this thing called Trypophobia (fear of small holes) but for some reason this close up just fascinates me. You can really see the luminescence of the foundation within the sponge! For those of you who aren’t familiar with CC formulas/cushion foundation, they are typically a smoother, more liquid-like formula than your average foundation that is made to even out skintone. Most true CC formulations focus more on skincare elements and a wee bit less on color/color ranges, especially those from Korean brands. Western brands definite amp up the diversity of their skintone range, as well as overall pigmentation in their formulas. This means you’ll find more full-coverage CC cream/foundation from “western” brands like IT Cosmetic’s it Cosmetics - it Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+ . (Not my favorite for dry skin. I felt like the Sahara Desert all over again when I used their formula 🙄) Therefore, it might be difficult to find a shade that fits you if you have a deeper skintone. Side note: I consider IT cosmetics to be a western brand because upon a bit of research, the company was bought by L’Oréal and the products are mostly manufactured in China. I love this foundation for super dry skin because of how moisturizing it is. It’s awesome for creating that second-skin finish with a natural, dewy glow. If you have light-medium with slight neutral-gold undertones and struggle with a bit of texture, this foundation line could work well for you! Every time I try something new or I’m stuck in a rut, I always go back to this foundation. I love the ease of use and blendability. The size is great for travel and I find that it doesn’t bother my dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin. You can get a medium to slightly buildable full coverage without “erasing” the dimension/shadows in your face. Even though it has SPF it doesn’t wash my face out completely and doesn’t create a white cast. If there is any, it’s only slightly noticeable. You would have to look reeeaaally close to see it. Layering on powder/cream products are a breeze.m I found the best way to use this product is with a slightly damp beauty blender. Start by placing a little bit onto the skin and then proceed to layer more as needed. There is something to be mindful of when you are using this product. If you live in a more humid/moist climate, I would add a little powder after your face primer and then proceed to add this foundation to help keep this in place throughout the day. You could also carry a powder puff with you throughout the day for touch-ups. Because the foundation has high moisture and provides a dewy finish, it can impact the longevity if you live in an moist/humid area 😊 Yay to a healthy glow! ❤️😄

Yes I have a problem lol I just love trying new face formulas. My favorite here is still the Touch In Sol Advanced Real Moisture Foundation in shade 21. It’s the most skin-like of all of them so far and has great durability. It’s also one of the cheaper ones at only $18 on amazon 😀 I do like the way the ILIA serum lays down, but my god does it have a strong paint smell 😑 once it goes away it’s fine, but the first few minutes are rather rough as I’m sensitive to bad smells. Ah, the things we do for beauty 🤷‍♀️ Happy Sunday! 🍁 Don’t forget to hydrate and check your WiFi 😘

Get glowing skin WITHOUT makeup
That dewy, glowy look is everywhere these days, thanks to brands like Glossier and a general emphasis on skincare. While I love using makeup, some days I just want to take it easy and slap a few products on my face. Products like these are the ones I turn to to give my skin glow and evenness without the need for foundation or concealer. Swipe to the second picture to see swatches of all three. The Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 is one of my favorite product, and I’ve posted about it numerous times! This green cream corrects redness in lighter skin tones, making my skin overall look much more even and calm. It also has spf, which I love! I’ve seen some people say that that feels/looks too greasy, but I welcome the grease because I call it glow 😂 But seriously, this gives me a dewy finish, and I can always tone it down with translucent powder if needed. The Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40 is a newer product that’s pretty much what it sounds like: a sunscreen/primer with a glowy finish. This isn’t exactly subtle—I would almost call it shimmery—so I wear it on days that I’m really wanting to glow. It also wears great under makeup as an illuminating primer. The VESCA - Soft Sun Radiant Skinis a new product to me—I just got it yesterday lol—but I’ve used it once and I liked it! It’s similar to the glow screen in that it can be worn on its own for a little glow or under makeup for a more illuminated look. I find that I need less of this than the glow screen (though I may apply more of glow screen because I want that SPF coverage). As for other tips to get glowing skin without makeup: consistently use chemical exfoliants, vitamin C, retinol, and sunscreen. Skincare takes time and consistency to see results! #CheriePartner

Try this tinted moisturizer for a glow!
COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer I got this tinted moisturizer a while back at Ulta. I got it on sale for I think $9. It was so reasonably priced that I didn’t have very high expectations. I like using the bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 but it’s much more expensive. I was very surprised at how well the pretty fresh tinted moisturizer worked! I like it just as much as the bare minerals. It provides nice light to medium coverage. It doesn’t have the spf like the bare minerals but I use a separate spf either way so I don’t mind! I definitely think the COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer is worth a try, especially at such a great price point! Also if anyone is wondering I’m also wearing Kosas - Weightless Lip Color in Undone and Kosas - Color & Light: Pressed Powder Blush & Highlighter Duo in Contrachroma.

Bare Minerals Appreciation Post
I may be a bit biased because I worked at Bare Escentuals (the company that makes Bare Minerals) all throughout college, but they have always had excellent products. While I was employed there, all of the products were in loose mineral form. Again, they were great, even then, but they really stepped up their game when they started coming out with their liquid and gel formulas. bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 was my first foray into their liquid products, and it has turned into my go-to face product for years and years; I can’t recommend it enough. The texture is fantastic and blends so well. For a tinted moisturizer/gel, the coverage is surprisingly good. And who doesn’t love a face product that has an SPF in it? I always wear added sun protection under my makeup to be on the safe side; you can never be too careful in the Arizona sun. I usually apply it with my fingers as directed, but you can use a brush for a little bit of added coverage if needed. bareMinerals - BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer is a newer product for me. The texture admittedly threw me off at first. Personally, I had never used a serum concealer. It seemed watery, and I feared that the coverage would suffer due to the consistency. However, after multiple uses, I was happily proven wrong. The medium coverage is truly beautiful as well as buildable, and I haven’t had any issues with creasing throughout the day. I don’t even bake, so that’s a true testament to this product and its efficacy. I like to pat this on with my fingers around my eyes and any problem areas. Then I blend it with a dampened beauty sponge for a seamless, streak-free finish. NOTE: I’ve found it to be a decent eyeshadow base (use sparingly) if you don’t have a primer on hand! Give these bad boys a try; you won’t regret it 😎

✨ picking your BB/CC/tinted moisturizer
Tinted moisturizers (TMs), BB creams, and CC creams are all light coverage alternatives to foundation. But what’s the difference between each, and how do you pick the right one? ⭐️ TM, BB, or CC? ⭐️ TM- What it sounds like. Your standard daily moisturizer, just with a little color. Often light coverage. BB Cream- stands for Beauty or Blemish balm. Combines moisturizer, primer, SPF, and tint. It’s an all-in-one product that’s usually light-medium coverage. CC Cream- stands for Color Correcting. Contains pigments/undertones to correct redness or other discoloration. Coverage varies. Any of these creams can be dewy or matte. They’re usually not full coverage- but in my experience, TMs are usually the lightest coverage and CCs are the thickest. ⭐️ TIPS TO PICK YOURS ⭐️ 🌸 Determine your skin type and concern. Do you want dewy skin, and minimal coverage? Go for Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint Medium-full coverage with SPF that looks like natural skin? it Cosmetics - it Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+ An affordable, all in one tint with primer? MAYBELLINE - Dream Fresh BB Cream 8-In-1 Skin Perfector SPF 30 That same thing, but with a matte finish? MAYBELLINE - Dream Matte BB Cream SPF15 Personally, I’ve been using the PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Super BB All-In-1 Beauty Balm Cream SPF 30 for a year. My skin is sensitive, and it gives light coverage while looking like your skin. You can see how it covers my under eye circles and minor blemishes on the 3rd pic. That’s without concealer. It has never broken me out and it lasts all day. It only needs minimal touch ups for shine. It’s a gel that flows out of the bottle without spilling. I love how easy it is to work with and it has moisturizers like Shea Butter and Willow extract for skincare! BONUS: I tried the L'ORÉAL - Studio Secrets Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream I liked it, though its odd- it comes out white and has little pigment bubbles that burst as you blend it into your skin. Texture is liquidy, but the finish on my face was nice and satiny. ⭐️ PICKING THE RIGHT COLOR ⭐️ 🌸 If you can, match within the same brand. Some brands use the same names for their BB cream and foundation lines. This saves a lot of hassle- with Too Faced, for example, I figured out I was usually their “Vanilla” shades. Sadly, TMs, BBs, and CC creams usually have less colors to choose from. But Colourpop, Black Radiance, and Laneige all have wide shade ranges. 🌸 If not, use a foundation matrix Temptalia, Sephora, and Findation all have a way for you to put your current foundation and find its match in other brands! This helps you break it down to not just get the right lightness, but also your undertones. 🌸 Mix & match. Truth is, there’s no perfect match for our skin. But the TMs, BBs, and CC can be mixed with other pigments to get the perfect match.

My natural bare skin makeup routine
#cheriepartner ( my light wear natural makeup look) I’m so passionate about this look and how it means to me because feeling beautiful in my own skin and looking natural makes me feel so confident about myself. I don’t have to feel like I need to wear heavy makeup or no makeup at all to feel beautiful or hide the natural beauty God gave us . I used to be not so confident when I was 16 I didn’t ever want to leave the house without a full face of makeup or feeling like I need to hide all the flaws that appeared on my skin But one day I realized that I don’t have to hide anything and I can be me natural and beautiful in my own skin and I really felt like myself and beautiful inside and not just on the outside. That’s why I’m so passionate about makeup And doing what makes me feel me is ( NATURAL ) Also doing natural dewy looks feels a lot better on my skin too it’s light and not heavy and my break outs are less and I can let me skin breathe a little “ even tho I’m still wearing some makeup “ it’s light but not heavy , it’s natural and last me all day long . I’ve been doing this look for awhile now and it’s always my everyday go to look :) I do love a bold look and wearing eyeliner once in a while and I think it’s also so so fun to go full glam and having fun with makeup is so awesome just creating our own looks is beautiful and unique! We are all beautiful inside and out let’s never forget that! I’m so inspired in the beauty / makeup industry to see all the amazing makeup looks that make you , you! It really inspires me so much and that’s why I love to do what I do with makeup! I just love watching beauty bloggers turn their looks into a story it’s truly beautiful ❤️ First used my REVLON - Photoready Rose Glow Hydrating + Illuminating Primer for a illuminatrice look behind the bb cream and foundation Sometimes I like to mix these two colors for a warm bronze tone the color of the BB cream is light/ medium sheer tintMAYBELLINE - Dream Fresh BB Cream 8-In-1 Skin Perfector SPF 30 COVERGIRL - Clean Liquid Foundation in the color classic ivory they look pretty mixed together or just separate they both look so natural on. Next I do brows e.l.f. - Clear Brow & Lash Mascara to set the eyebrow hairs in place and then add some tint to them with e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel Bronzer I love to apply on my cheeks , eyelids and forehead is e.l.f. - e.l.f. Bronzer this stuff is great I can’t rant about how great it is 👍🏻 and I use the tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush this stuff last so long and gives my cheeks a nice rose pop Last is eyes and lips Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek I use on my lips it’s hydrating and smooth , doesn’t dry out my lips and eyes I used L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara e.l.f. - e.l.f. Sample to Full Size - This Korean BB Nails it
This is my new favorite foundation for this season. First got it as a sample from Sephora, and just wen for a full size the following week. This is a Korean brand sold in Sephora. Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 I also find this BB has a slightly luminous finish that makes my skin look so fresh and lovely. My skin looks so flawless and it covers all my dark spots. This brand is pretty new to me. I started using it around a month ago. It wears flawlessly throughout the day. This is light, moisturizing coverage with the extra bonus of being SPF 45! It has a slight grey tone to it, but it’s surprisingly very flattering and blurs out the skin beautifully. I would say this foundation provides a light but build-able to medium coverage. It's almost a demi-matte finish? This is a medium coverage foundation. It really has made me skin glow and not in the sense of it’s a glowy, satin like foundation. It is also lightweight but still has medium buildable coverage. The formula is really nice. It’s thin as is feels breathable but still provides I would say ,medium coverage that is definitely buildable. It’s one of those “your skin but better” foundations. It doesn’t cling to dry patches. Depending on how you apply the foundation, it could be light to medium. This bb cream has a natural, skin like finish and can be used with your hands, a brush or a sponge to create a beautiful finish. I really like the formula, it t has hyaluronic acid to help retain moisture. It blends beautifully whether you’re using cream or powder products It’s non comedogenic so it won’t clog your pores or make your skin break out. If you have oil prone skin you may have to blot throughout the day and I can't for sure say you would probably love it because l'm not currently super oily, but if you're dry-normal-or just oily in the t-zone like I usually am, l'd recommend it Cons I would want them to make more shades. Not pricey it’s The packaging is really nice and classy. I would recommend this to all my dewy friends

My Everyday Summer 2020 Makeup Routine
My routine always starts with a good skincare routine! Find one that works for you and make sure it includes SPF! I’ve been using a moisturizer with SPF ORIGINS - A Perfect World SPF 40 Age-Defense Moisturizer with White Tea This dual product is nice because I don’t have to add an extra layer to get moisture I need! It’s a great product but I will probably end up going back to my COOLA which is my holy grail. COOLA - Classic Face Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 50 I’ve always done my eye makeup first so I’ve been using the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Norvina Eyeshadow Palette shades Incense and passion in the crease with tarte - Limited-edition Clay Pot Waterproof Shadow Liner in the shade Rose Gold all over the lid. Next, I’ve been using the Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 This is the only BB Cream I’ve used that gets along with my combo-oily skin! Plus it has bonus SPF! Then I apply the ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-In-Place Flawless Wear Concealer to my under eyes. This concealer is fine but it’s way too drying and full coverage for my taste. Then I use the BECCA - Sunlit Bronzer basically all over my face 😂 nose, cheeks, forehead! I use the shade Bronzed Bondi. Helps me look like I actually have a tan! It has a subtle sheen that makes it look so natural! Then I blend a light amount of the PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Blush in Vintage Rouge into my cheeks. Then, I apply the HOURGLASS - Veil Translucent Setting Powder to my undereyes, my T zone, and my jawline. Finally I draw in my eyebrows with ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade and set them with the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel The clear brow get is fine but it’s too drying and crunchy for me. Finally I apply mascara! Rodial - Glamolash Mascara XXL This mascara is fine but it clumps up so easily so you have to be careful! #cheriepartner

Oil free CC and anti-aging concealer review
Overall Impressions from my first 3 weeks with this product have been Really positive overall, Almost daily use unless im not leaving the house at all as this is my only SPF product outside of a tinted moisturiser that oxidises badly on my skin. So if i'm going outside its going on my face. Consistency of both is incredibly thick. In regards to the concealer I literally use a dot no bigger then the ball on my eyebrow bar. so a 3mm glob does my entire under eye section and today's dark circles are about as good as it gets so normally it's got a lot more to cover and it hasn't struggled so far. CC cream wise i use about a pump and a half to do my face, neck and ears. Shade wise this was an educated guess and i feel it may be slightly off for my skin but im the closest sephora to me is unfortunately an hour north or an hour and a half south. either way not something i'm going to be doing soon, but definitely before the next round of purchasing and i'm fairly sure i will be repurchasing at this point in time. The products both take quite a decent amount of time to dry but i prefer this as it gives me more time to work with the product and get it where i want it. If i need to set it quickly i find a translucent powder easy enough to just throw on top and it works like a dream. Vs the original formula of the IT cosmetics CC+ cream the Matte contains no essential oils, has multiple types of clay, beneficial plant extracts and snail mucin. However a lot less snail mucin than the original It cosmetics CC+ cream which does make me tempted to give the original formula ago, oily skin or no oily skin. I work both in with my hands first before going over it with a brush and as i am quite new to wearing actual makeup i do have to disclose that allot of the Texture and blending issues on my face are substantially more my issue then the products but still thought i would share my thoughts and experience so far :)

Makeup mistakes: choosing the wrong shade
I spent the longest time not really understanding (or caring) about makeup, especially when it came to choosing a face makeup product. I like very light coverage, but was having trouble finding something that suited me. I finally settled on It Cosmetics CC Cream. This is a rather full-coverage product as far as CC creams go. For the longest time I was wearing this product in a shade that was about two shades too dark for my natural skin tone. If I had just fake tanned it looked okay, but any other time it was WAY too dark, especially against my neck and chest. I was just really lazy and did not want to take the time to go to a store in-person and figure out which shade was right for me. Once I finally did, it was a total game changer. My whole face looked so much better, and my makeup looks were so much more natural. So the moral of the story is, take that extra time to find your correct shade! It makes all the difference! #CheriePartner

A 💄SEPHORA💄mis-ship changed my beauty routine
SO, I recently ordered a refill of my usual it Cosmetics - CC+ Cream Illumination SPF 50+ as I was just about empty. Got the Sephora order in with plenty of time to arrive before I ran out like a responsible human and 🍀 LUCKY ME 🍀 there was a promo going on, order the CC cream and get bonus samples (it Cosmetics - Confidence in a Cleanserit Cosmetics - Confidence In A Cream Anti-Aging Moisturizer& it Cosmetics - Confidence In An Eye Cream) 💸 WHAT A STEAL 💸 (also mini things might be the only thing I love more then free things so...) I put it all in my 🛒 CART 🛒 , added some more minis and samples to my purchase (it’s a sickness) and away I went. ⏩FAST FORWARD TO⏩: the shipment arrives. I’m going through the box ooohing and ahhing all my new mini friends when 🎭 TRAGEDY 🎭 strikes: There’s a lil bag with all my It Cosmetics samples but my CC+ cream is nowhere to be found 🤔??? (Don’t fret though, the lovely folks at Sephora were immediately responsive to my email and got me all set up with a replacement to ship our immediately at no cost. 👏 BIG THANKS 👏 to Sephora customer care!) ANYWAYS, the ultimately fortunate part of this whole debacle was that at some point I ran out of foundation and my replacement hadn’t shopped yet so I said “to hell with it!” and went 😵 FOUNDATION FREE 😵 And I’ve gotta tell you, it was great? 👍 My skin loved it? 👍👍 It seemed more comfortable to wear a face mask? (I wear one 8+ hours a day for work) 👍👍👍 I might never go back? 👋 WHO IS SHE? ✌️ Sometimes it all works out for the best 🌈 (and yes my replacement did come and I haven’t opened it yet? Will I???)

Supergoop! Sunscreens: my favs and flops
To start, I just started seriously using SPF about 6 months ago (I’m 22, for shame) because I absolutely HATED how sunscreen sat on my skin. It was always too greasy, too weirdly dry, or waaaay too thick and a bit difficult to spread around my face (like Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF30 ). I’ve tried really dermatologist recommended sunscreens like elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 (SORRY I know it’s a cult fav), but even that was too oily and would slide around my face all day like a slip-n-slide. I also have sensitive & acne prone skin so it was never worth it to me to put on this gross sunscreen that would forever break me out and cause redness. They were all the same. Enter: Supergoop! My holy grail. My precious. My savior. The only sunscreen that would comfortably sink into my skin that I couldn’t ever feel. HOWEVER, not all Supergoop! products are created equal, as I’ve found out. My least favorite: Supergoop! - Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++ . This lotion feels like soft, fluffy butter on my fingers and spreads so smoothly on my face. I was disappointed when I was left with an oily sheen that never soaked in (tested 8hr multiple times). It is greasy to the touch—my hair kept sticking to my face kind of greasy. It is superficially moisturizing instead of deeply. SAD! Maybe better for super dry skin? A truly great product: Supergoop! - CC Cream Daily Correct Broad Spectrum SPF 35 Sunscreen . This CC cream is really awesome. It’s lightweight but gives a surprising amount of coverage! Blends well and camoflouges all my redness. It’s also not drying at all. Special brownie points for not breaking me out—this is a gentle mineral sunscreen :) I find this perfect for summer because it’s hot and regular foundation would just melt off my face and crease . -1 star because after about 4 hours the product begins to break up. It also doesn’t have much oil control for my fellow combo/oily peeps. Perhaps it’ll be better in the winter when the heat won’t break it up?! • My daily sunscreen: Supergoop! - 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Screen SPF 40 . I LOVE THIS! Shake the bottle for 5-10 seconds and the tinted sunscreen comes out like fluffy clouds. It minimizes pores, always looks like a natural matte (not a dry matte), evens skin tone, is water resistant, and sinks so naturally and comfortably into my skin. This is especially in my 🤍 because my pores are ginormous and I need that lil extra somethin. This makes my face look truly poreless. And it’s a mineral sunscreen so I never break out. Apply in gentle presses for pill-less results. A game changer: Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 . The ultimate sunscreen. That’s it. What’re your thoughts on these four sunscreens? Are there others I should try? What are your favorites? 🤔

Flawless Base Makeup for Oily Skin
I’m back y’all with a full review on how I achieve my flawless base makeup look! For reference, I have oily combination skin. My complexion is light/medium during the summer when I spend more time outside but then more light during the fall and winter seasons. My concerns are my pores and t zone area when I am applying my base. I typically wear full makeup 3-4 days a week now that I am working from home, but before it would be 6 days a week and this has been my method for a good year now! After I apply my moisturizer, I start with my touch in SOL - No Poreblem Primer . I did a full review on this product if you wish to read more on it. I love this primer because I feel that it does a good job at masking my pores and it’s not oily or greasy on my face. I let it set for a minute or two before I go in with my COVERGIRL - Clean Matte BB Cream in shade 530 (light/medium) and retails for $6.99 on Amazon 👍🏼. I got this one because I did not want to wear a heavy foundation when I’m just home all day. Plus it’s clean matte and perfect for oily skin! A like to go for a light natural looks so I don’t ever over do it with this BB cream. That’s how I avoid caking my face too because once you put too much there’s no going back. I use a wet beauty blender sponge to apply this bb cream. Like most bb creams the coverage is light. Once I have my foundation on, I use the same wet sponge to apply my Coty AIRSPUN - Loose Face Powder all around my face to set the bb cream. I am certain I have also reviewed this product before so please check it out. This powder is mega cheap like less than $10 and it comes with 2.3 oz of product! It will last you forever and ever! I bought mine at Walgreens but I think it’s available inside many stores now! Once I gave set my face, I go in with which ever bronzer and highlighter I want to use that day. By the time I have finished applying my lip stick as well, I go back with my tarte - Sugar Rush Don't Shine, Sparkle Blotting Papers to pick up any last minute oil build up on my face. This retails for $10 and you get a tube of blotting paper that you rip out depending on how much you want. It works immediately and it’s perfect for on the go inside your purse! You can use this to also control oil on the t zone area throughout the day to ensure makeup base looks stunning all day long! The last step is my MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray, Original Soothing Herbal ! I love this stuff and been a fan for years! My trick is to use a fan after spritz to ensure it locks into the face and doesn’t budge later! It’s more on the expensive side but worth the money in my opinion! I wear makeup around 9am and wipe off around 6pm, so the technique is long lasting 👍🏼 And that is how I achieve my flawless base makeup for my oily combination face 😊. #CheriePartner

It's BB Cream Season!
Let's be honest... nobody wants to wear full coverage out in the sun when it's 90 degrees! Especially if you have oily skin, wearing a heavy foundation can feel gross and look gross. This BB cream from covergirl has six shades (mine is shade light/medium) and definitely has decent coverage while feeling lightweight and leaving the skin flawless! By the way, tip-apply bb cream with a brush not a sponge. It's not supposed to be full coverage. Some perks it has is that it's: -Oil Free -Won't clog pores -Suitable for sensitive skin -Lasts all day I've tested this product out on several occasions and all though it looks fabulous, sometimes I find it hard to blend because of streaks and it also causes my skin to breakout. Although this product claims to be suitable for sensitive skin, it didn't seem to work out. This Bb creme also doesn't contain any SPF but makes up for it with its cheap price of only $10.00 Drop your BB creme recommendations down below!!!💕💕

Try this tinted moisturizer for a glow!

3 Tinted Moisturizers for Acne Prone Skin Reviews
3 Tinted Moisturizers for Acne Prone Skin Reviews
I have dry skin and medium skin tone. I suffered from hormonal dermatitis because of the abuse of skincare products with too much hormone. My face became sensitive with thick cuticle and got breakouts at all time. In order to save my acne-prone skin, I can not wear any makeup for a long time. After the skin got better, I began to use tinted moisturizers. Then I bought these two products, which are acne face-friendly. Tinted moisturiers are especially suitable for dry skin, because they are moisturizing and full coverage. Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen $47.00 This product is moisturizing and lightweight. The cream is not tinted and the concealing power is relatively weak. The texture is amazing with a thick layer on my skin. This cream is long-lasting and makes my skin glow all day. There are 20 shades and you can choose the one for your skin tone. COMPLEXION RESCUE™ TINTED MOISTURIZER SPF 30 $33.00 This tinted moisturizer can minimize large pores and discoloration. The texture is hydrating and very liquid. This brand is known as vegan and adds little fragrance. However, the organic ingredients are unexpectedly irritated for me. Natural ingredients are uncertain, to some extent. NARS Complete Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF30  $45.00 This is the most hydrating one. The fragrance is light and I really like it. It is full coverage and the concealing power is the best among these three products. I would only recommend this tinted moisturizer for dry skin because this one is too hydrating to control oil.

How to choose tinted moisturizer for your skin? ULTIMATE Guide!
How to choose tinted moisturizer for your skin? ULTIMATE Guide!
Surely you have heard of tinted moisturizers, as they have been a revolution in the cosmetics market in recent years and have been popularized by many celebrities by the hand of great stylists and makeup artists. Color moisturizers arise from the need to combine in a single product the ability to moisturize and protect of a cream and the aesthetic possibility of giving a touch of color and correcting that makeup provides. Since its inception, there have been many different types of tinted moisturizers that have appeared on the market, but they all have a common purpose: the protection of the skin and bring beauty to the face. That said, when choosing a tinted moisturizer we must focus our attention mainly on the benefits it will bring to our skin. Hydration capacity Generally speaking, facial moisturizers are created with formulas that integrate different active ingredients that serve mainly three purposes: moisturize, nourish, and protect the dermis. In addition, depending on specific uses, they may be enriched with other ingredients or elements that provide them with additional properties that vary depending on the type of skin on which it is to be applied. This is going to be a determining factor when selecting one product or another, because depending on whether we have dry, sensitive skin or oily skin, the type of color moisturizer we will choose will have to meet the needs of that type of skin. Protection factor According to numerous dermatologists, the best antiaging is photoprotective, especially if it is for daily use. This is because one of the main factors of skin aging is ultraviolet rays (UV), as they are able to damage the elastin and collagen of the dermis, which favors the appearance of wrinkles, in addition to being able to cause the appearance of spots and other lesions. Color and luminosity If we are talking about the benefits of a tinted moisturizer, precisely color is an important part, one of the reasons for being of the moisturizer with color, was to adopt at the same time the characteristics of a moisturizer and provide the color and corrective capacity of makeup. Skin tone is a point to keep in mind when choosing our cream. Ideally, the cream tone is identical to the tone of our skin, so it is advisable to do tests to check it. The cheek area is the most appropriate area to do this type of test. Within the different types of color moisturizer that exist, we can meet BB Cream or CC Cream depending on their corrective capacity and other properties. The second photo is the difference between a bb cream and a foundation: As you can see, the bb cream, which is a sort of tinted moisturizer is far more natural than the foundation.  I personally use the NYX bb cream. “bare with me”. I have dry skin and this is perfect for me.  With this tinted moisturizer, this is the finished result that I get: a very lightweight yet radiant look that covers my imperfections.

Tinted Moisturizers Competition! Guess Who Wins!
Tinted Moisturizers Competition! Guess Who Wins!
I have combination-oily skin. Below are a few products I often use before I put on makeup. Lancôme Sunscreen LANCÔME - UV Expert Aquagel Defense Primer & Moisturizer SPF 50 Star rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This product is very moisturizing and is perfect for autumn and winter, but is a little too greasy for summer. It is milky white and spreads easily, but it doesn't really even out skin tone and easily forms a film on the skin. Chanel CC Cream 10 Beige CHANEL - CC CREAM Super Active Correction Complete Sunscreen SPF 50 Star rating: ⭐️⭐️ It's a heavy liquid which conceals well and evens out skin tone. Only a little amount is needed for the entire face. But any makeup afterwards just separates, cakes and peels off easily. It is definitely not for oily skin types.👎 Chantecaille Tinted Moisturizer CHANTECAILLE - Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 Star rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is suitable for most skin types. I recommended this one, the Alabaster shade, the most out of these four. It creates a really natural look, spreads easily, and makes it possible to avoid using heavy makeup. It is especially suitable for autumn and winter and there's also no issue with it peeling. However, it can be a little pricey.👍 Shiseido Maquillage  Star rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is only for spring and summer use by those with oily skin types. It offers shine control, has great mattifying effect, and evens out skin tone. Sometimes I'll use it when I go to the gym and it's relatively affordable. However, it's too dry for autumn and winter.

WHat's the difference between BB, CC creams
WHat's the difference between BB, CC creams
BB CREAM Often short for “beauty balm” or “blemish balm,” BB cream first became popular in Korea before gaining buzz across the globe. Essentially, BB cream is makeup formulated with skin care benefits. There are BB creams out there for all different skin types, including oily skin and dry skin. What’s more, BB creams generally offer sheerer coverage than foundation, when you want a little bit of coverage without looking overdone. Think about BB cream like a souped-up version of a tinted moisturizer. BB creams are not meant to provide lots of coverage, as a foundation would. BB cream is a skin-first product, meaning it’s meant to hydrate, illuminate, mattify, or achieve whatever other skin care goal you may have. CC CREAM Generally, CC cream usually stands for color correcting cream or complexion corrector cream. Like BB cream, CC creams typically serve multiple purposes—however, unlike BB cream, CC cream usually provides a little more coverage to disguise imperfections like dark spots or redness. Because CC creams offer more coverage than BB creams, they tend to have thicker, heavier formulas. CC cream is often formulated for aging skin that may need more coverage to help smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Instead of having to use a separate color correcting concealer and foundation, you can take care of all your color correcting and coverage needs with one product—CC cream.

my favorite foundation is a cc cream!
my favorite foundation is a cc cream!
it Cosmetics - Your Skin But Better CC Illumination with SPF 50+ The It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream is my absolute go to foundation, I initially bought it to be a light coverage every day wear base and just fell in love, I haven’t found a better one since!! For reference, I have naturally pretty clear skin but often get discolouration, red patches, dark circles and lil brown spots. I have an oily forehead and dry cheeks so I use the milk makeup face oil on the lower half of my face before applying my makeup. Pros Foundation is smooth and creamy, gives full coverage without looking cakey and dry Can look beautiful and illuminating without powder while also looks smooth after setting down and doesn’t crack around my smile lines Has SPF50 and doesn’t look ashy! The tubes last AGES, I’ve gone through one and a half in two years The coverage lasts for a long time, I wear it out clubbing and I come home still beat Cons The shade range is absolutely abysmal, I’m lucky that it doesn’t affect me but I had to take a star away nonetheless A bit on the pricey side but for how long it lasts I’ve found it to be worth it #CherieCreator
