This Is The End Friend - Chucky
So excited to be showing this spooky Halloween Look that I did! Chucky is obviously a classic and definitely frightened me as a kid, take this as me reclaiming that fear lol. I made my own scar wax to do this, followed a video online where all you’d need is flour and Vaseline. I’ll be honest it’s a tedious process but the end result as you can see is worth it. I felt perfectly creepy in this, if I’m being honest it came out way better than I hoped. Sfx Makeup is an area that I would love to get better at, and I’m glad to see growth in this look. I bought fake blood and liquid latex from Walmart, I don’t have a full sfx kit yet. But I did also use Milk Makeup products for my base, and if you follow me on here you definitely know how much I love the Milk brand. Flex Foundation - Warm Deep Milk MAKEUP - Flex Foundation Stick Flex Concealer - Tan/Bronze Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer Blur + Set Powder - Translucent Deep Milk MAKEUP - Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder Hydrp Grip Primer Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer
Must-Have Products from Sephora and Ulta 🌟
We all have some beauty products that become hard to go without once we’ve tried them! Some of my beauty staples include skincare products to prep my skin and a high-hold hairspray so my hairstyle lasts all day. Here are my favorite products from Sephora and Ulta! Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer This is my go-to primer when I want my makeup to last all day long! It hydrates my skin without turning my face into an oil slick, and it has a slightly tacky feel that grips onto my foundation, just like it says. FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation I prefer the hydrating formula of the Fenty Foundation over the original formula, which I thought was too matte for me, even with my oily/combo skin. This foundation blends out really nicely to a natural-looking satin finish, and I can easily layer setting powder over it without making my base look cakey or patchy. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution This chemical exfoliant is a cult classic for a reason: It’s effective, looks cool, and costs less than $8! I love using it on Sunday nights as a weekly reset for my face. If you follow the instructions (leave on for 10 minutes and don’t use it more than twice a week), you’ll have baby soft skin without damaging your moisture barrier in no time. REDKEN - Triple Pure 32 Neutral Fragrance Hairspray It’s almost impossible for my hair to hold a curl without some kind of product. I love this hairspray because it sets my hair but doesn’t leave it feeling solid or crunchy. The mist is really fine so it disperses through my hair evenly without leaving some parts clumped with product and some parts untouched, which is one of my biggest pet peeves with hairspray. I highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble making their styled hair last more than an hour! TIGI - A Wave We Go Adjustable Deep Waver I love this hair waver because it’s incredibly easy to use. With this, I can wave my lob in literally 10 minutes! You can adjust the depth of the wave too, so you can have anything between a subtle beach wave or some really wild waves. What are your favorite products from Sephora and Ulta?

Easy (five minute!) makeup for ZOOM Meetings
Doing my makeup and feeling put-together is one of my favorite things, however I don’t always have the time or energy to be able to achieve a full-face beat every day. Soft and gentle glam, I use this look when I want to feel ~soft~ and glowy, but only spend minimal time on it. I start with NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer which I use all over my face, spot concealing redness of pimples, around my nose and lips, tip of my nose, and between my eyebrows. This brightens and evens your skin tone without a full face of foundation. You can use primer if you want, when I do I use a blurring primer like TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer or beautyblender - Pore Minimizing Primer which smooth skin and even look good just on their own. I set with BECCA - Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder and then move on to my eyes. I use one eyeshadow palette with a few colors, two of my favorites are NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette and EM COSMETICS - Limited Edition Divine Skies Eyeshadow Palette which have both mattes and shimmers. Important: they don’t patch! This makes blending a breeze. I put a neutral brown in my crease and outer V, then layer a dark brown in my outer v and smudge on my lower lash line. Adding shimmer is optional, but I usually do. For this I just use my finger and swipe on the lid. All powders for my face bronzer, blush, & highlight applied with one fluffy brush. I apply blush by pinching the powder brush in my fingers to elongate it to place product where I want— my fav is PATRICK TA - Monochrome Moment Velvet Blush which applies smoothly on all skin (prepped or not). I layer with benefit - Hoola Matte Bronzer in a 3 shape, and finish with whatever glowing highlight i feel like. In this image it’s OFRA - Nikkietutorials Everglow Highlighter Brow filling is optional, but brushing them up with a gel helps you look awake and youthful with little effort. Finish with mascara and a tinted lip balm or moisturizing lipstick like Glossier. - Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick or EM COSMETICS - EM Cosmetics Lip Cushion and you’re ready to go in less than ten!
Sunday = NFL Makeup!
Another Sunday, another Bengals tie (which may as well be a loss), and another NFL inspired makeup look. Y’all seemed to enjoy the last look, so I’m here to share again! I’m a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan, so I had two colors to play with today: orange and black! TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer Primed with my brand new trial-size Tatcha primer. No shock—it’s amazing... but I can’t justify the heft price tag! Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer As usual, a glam look isn’t a truly-glam look without my favorite concealer! 🥰 My dark circles were semi-manageable today, so only needed a little! Shade: Snow. e.l.f. - Retro Paradise Eyeshadow Palette The orange hues in this palette truly are amazing. Again, four stars because of fallout—so make sure you tap that brush, y’all! Colors: Fuego, Caliente, Nightlife, Sea Salt (inner corners, brow bone) Fortuna (sparkle on the lid). HAUS LABORATORIES - Glam Attack Liquid Eyeshadow When it comes to liquid eyeshadows, Lady Gaga got it right. Glam Attack shadows come in lots of beautiful colors, from neutrals to intense blacks. My eyeliner is accented with my favorite shade: Chained Ballerina. Gorgeous finish with a subtle sparkle. (Note: it dries down fast, so blend quickly!) NARS - High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner Got this baby as a free gift from Sephora the other day, and man... by far my new favorite liner for tight-lining! Such a smooth application, and it doesn’t budge! LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Mascara Another freebie. This one at Ulta. I already own the waterproof variation of this 💣 mascara, but I went with the regular formula today. If you need a mascara that gives you lots of drama, this is the one you need! EYLURE - ProMagnetic Magnetic Eyeliner & Lash System Finally... these lashes are 🔥, and application is easy-peasy. Three layers of the black magnetic liner on the lash line (let each layer dry thoroughly!!), pop em on, and you’re done. These beauties are so lightweight, I don’t even know I’m wearing them. First time trying this brand... and it will not be the last! My face is all done with Scott Barnes face palettes. Post on his products coming soon, but here’s the list: scott barnes - Chic Cheek N°1 Blush Palette scott barnes - Sculpting and Contour N°1 Palette scott barnes - Glowy & Showy N°1 Highlighter Palette And there ya go. My Cincinnati Bengals glam look for the week. 😉 Let me know if you give it a try! 🏈

Saved My Oily Face
I’ve always struggle with oily face, mainly around the t-zone. I’ve tried many, many different primera and foundations and my face was oily within 2 hours of applying my make up. I’ve tried the Too Faced line and wow! I mix the primer with three drops of The Ordinary Niacinamide first, I dump my Real Technique blender and I apply the foundation. Lastly, I apply the setting powder with the same dumped blender. This make up line helps my face stay hydrated without getting oily. Too Faced - Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge Too Faced - Hangover Primer The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Too Faced - Peach Perfect Setting Powder ***bonus - I subscribed to the Too Faced email list and I get discounts promotions often. So I buy my products with them at discounted price instead of paying full time at Ulta or Sephora 😉
My go-to makeup products
I don’t usually do my makeup, but when I do there are some products I never go without. I love a dewy, sun kissed finish, so I always start with a hydrating primer and end with a creamy blush. Here are some of my favorite products to get my favorite makeup looks! Too Faced - Hangover Primer has been my go-to primer for a couple years now. I love how smooth it makes my skin look and it always seems to downplay any dryness I might have. Even if I’ve been slacking on skincare, this stuff makes my skin and makeup look awesome! benefit - Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer is for sure my favorite concealer, hands down. I’ve tried a few others recently, trying lighter colors for under my eyes, and everything else cakes and rubs off so easily, so I just end up going back to my tried and true. I love her and will repurchase until the end of time. A more recent development has been my love of cream blushes. I’ve started buying them whenever I can get my hands on them and so far some of my faves are WANDER BEAUTY - Double Date Lip and Cheek Tint , BEAUTANIQ BEAUTY - Butter Lip & Cheek Balm , and Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek . The ones I have are a nice range of colors from orangey to pink to rose. I like to put a little on the bridge of my nose to make it look like I spent a little too long in the sun the day before. I usually put a cream blush on the apples of my cheeks and my nose and blend it out with a similar powder blush toward my hairline and around my forehead. And that’s my usual makeup look! I usually go pretty lowkey with the eyes, just some highlighter in the inner corner and maybe some mascara. Stay tuned for photo evidence the next time I put makeup on! <3

Skincare Alphabet - D is for Dimethicone
Gasp! How dare I?! Yep I said it Dimethicone. It’s a very simple ingredient that is in so many different types of products (skincare, make-up, hair care) but it’s uses are endless. Dimethicone is a silicone that gives products and your skin that silky smooth texture on application. Moisturizers and serums in particular will contain them, as well as certain types of cleansers. It helps products glide on across the face smoothly and holds ingredients together to prevent separation. The molecules ate very large and cannot penetrate the skin, so it’s great for sealing in moisture which is why you’ll find this in a a lot of heavier moisturizers specifically made for extremely dry environments and harsh winter weather. As someone with EXTREMELY large pores, I always search of this when choosing a new make-up primer as it really does make all the difference in application and lasting power of my foundation. I’ve also started purchasing different types of sunscreen based on my needs for different days. Since COVID is still in full swing, I’m obviously not going many places these days and do not feel the need to apply make-up. In turn I’ve been looking for sunscreens that have a bit of complexion correction incorporated and for me that means, evening out my skin tone and giving my skin a matte, smooth appearance.

Foundation swatches ✨
From left to right swatched foundations all primed with TATCHA - The Liquid Silk Canvas: Featherweight Protective Primer First up is The Ordinary - Colours Coverage Foundation with SPF 15which is not the one I have the one I purchased is actually the ordinary serum foundations which is a weightless light coverage skincare foundation I ordered online from ulta and it’s quite cheap for foundations I believe being around $7 only reason I haven’t gotten a chance to use it is because I will have to mix it with a lighter color as it is quite dark Secondly NARS - Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation Is a nice formula not too drying and the shade shown is actually my “fall color” as I get lighter during these times. I thought it would be nice to show how light and dark ones skin can get with the seasons. I have always heard great things about nars and of course have their staple piece orgasm blush in not just compact but loose powder. Glad to have liked their foundation as well only negative is it is buildable coverage so I have to use quite a bit of product but still very smooth on the skin and long lasting! Best for last LANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation is my go to foundation now the shade is questionable as I used to tan a lot when I first bought it but if I do not keep up with the sun I do have to mix a drop of my nars in I do not know if I will repurchase but I’m definitely finishing this precut and that’s saying a lot as I only ever need two to three full pumps for my whole face Only thing I will say is it does dry out your skin so keep it moisturized and prime your face Love the fact it has spf one of my favorite spf profits is this item with only 15spf but that helps when your in a rush of forgot to apply sunblock ! But isn’t it crazy how wide our range of foundations can be?! Do you ladies have the same experience or the weather is pretty consistent in your city?

Primerize me, Cap’n! 🦜
Good evening, everyone! Been a busy week for me, so sorry for lack of posts. I got a new mini lighting booth for my Poshmark store and wanted to test it out tonight. Pretty pleased so far 😁 Here are three primers that I’m currently playing with. My tried and true is the Benefit Porefessional Primer. I honestly don’t use it under makeup; I use it to blur my skin and then use translucent powder over it to keep me from getting oily on “no makeup” days. I love the illumination of the pearl version as I still get a healthy little glow going. I’ve yet to try the Laneige one, but have wanted to for a while now. Thankfully, Sephora has been offering samples with orders so I got a couple. The TIS one is a classic Korean primer. It’s probably the only one that has ever worked for me under makeup. My combo skin typically just breaks down any and all primers, so I never use them under makeup. Remember to hydrate and check your WiFi 😘
90s Makeup Pt. 2
I had so much fun making my first look, I had to do a second! Make sure to check that one out, too. This look is much more grungy. It’s inspired by popular celeb looks with worn-in, black-rimmed eyes and dark lipstick. Products I Used & Why: Primer: touch in SOL - No Poreblem Primer Great for smoothing without feeling silicone-y. This is in my October monthly makeup basket. No other reason for choosing Foundation: ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 “ST 3 Balos” and PÜR - 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 “porcelain”. I chose these 2 because celebs often wore lighter foundation tones (or orange, but I don’t like that look LOL). The combo of these 2 is still natural but provides medium coverage. The Pür is a bit light for me. Concealer: e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer “light peach”. Celebs often wore concealer that was a little or much lighter to draw attention to their eyes. Eyes: URBAN DECAY - 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil “perversion”. I did a thin line on my upper lash line, then used a pencil brush (not sure of brand) to smoke it out kind of messily. Celebs’ liner looked like they’d been wearing it all day (or night) long. I then added a bit more liner at my lash’s roots to intensify the effect. For my spidery lashes I used URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara . I smudged the shade “black” from the LORAC - PRO Matte Eye Shadow Palette with the same pencil brush under my eyes. Since I have hooded eyes, some of the smudged liner did transfer into my crease a bit. I think it adds to the worn-in vibe. Cheeks: KEVYN AUCOIN - The Contour & Highlighter Duo “contour” to lightly sculpt my nonexistent cheekbones and tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in “thrilled” (nude pink) on the upper portion of my cheeks to add a hint of color to my cheeks and lift my cheekbones up. Lips: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick “heathers” for a deep ox blood red pout. Shades of red, burgundy, and brown were also very popular in the 90s to pair with this kind of look! I finished off this look with my hair in a bun to accentuate my makeup. What’s your fave 90s makeup style?! #CheriePartner

2 Minute Makeup! ⏱
Yesterday I was running late for work and needed to do my makeup as quickly as possible. So, I cut down my normally ten minute routine to two minutes (yeah I timed it!) using four products. Here’s what I did: -Primed my skin using YSL’s Touché Eclat Blur Primer. -Applied the matte end of Wander Beauty’s Dualist Matt and Illuminating Concealer under my eyes only. -Applied Thrive Causemetics’ Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara. -Applied Sephora Collection’s Color Enhancing Lip Oil -Got on my first Zoom call. Honestly, the YSL primer is so great for me I barely need anything else when I use it. I think I still ended up looking pretty cute, just two minutes later! 🥰 What are your go-to products for a fast look? My Current Favourites!
These are some products I’ve been loving the past couple of months! These have become some of my favourite products and I would definitely repurchase them! A little bit about my skin type is that I have combination, dehydrated skin that is acne prone in the summer and in the winter/fall I have dry skin. Why I love these products (mini review): ⭐️ Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream is probably one of my favourite moisturizers! It feels so moisturizing! It’s thick but it doesn’t suffocate my skin. It absorbs nicely into the skin while also giving it such an amazing glow! ⭐️Sioris Time is Running Out Mist was so hydrating! I love how it made me my skin feel so soft and moisturized. I like how there is oil in this face mist cause it helps me cut down on steps when I’m in a rush. ⭐️OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Face Primer gives a skin a really nice glow! Makes my makeup look really fresh and dewy and even without makeup it makes my skin look brightened. ⭐️Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative makes my hair really smooth and soft! I have pretty dry, heat damaged hair so this helps to conditions my ends. ⭐️Missha Time Revolution Artemsia Treatment Essence is so great at calming my skin especially my breakouts!! I ⭐️Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner is good at exfoliating without stripping my skin. Its so refreshing to see a hydrating exfoliator so I know i’ll love this even when my skin is super dry. ⭐️bioderma Cicabio cream is great for my dry patches and works great eat repairing/healing my skin when its really senstiive. ⭐️ A'PIEU - Madecassoside Ampoule is so lightweight but it repairs and calms my skin down!

Ultimate Guide to Ageless Makeup for Women With Mature skin
As you get older, your skin changes. The metabolism in your cells become slower, and this can change the appearance of your skin. Not only do you start to lose elasticity and plumpness with age, but your skin can also become dryer and more sensitive.
How to achieve flawless base makeup ☀️☀️
During the summer months, I rarely wear makeup. And when I do I prefer it to feel as light as possible! My preferred makeup look is dewy and glowy as opposed to matte, so I use all cream products for my base. For my primer, I have been using BECCA - Backlight Priming Filter Face Primer . Honestly, I could wear this product alone and be happy with it! It provides a natural shimmer and slight coverage and really makes you glow! After applying this primer I apply my Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint with a damp beautyblender - Classic Makeup Sponge Pink . I have absolutely RAVED on this product before but it really is the perfect face product for summer. The coverage is light to medium, and doesn’t feel like you are actually wearing makeup at all. It hides any redness I have while still allowing my freckles to peek through! These two products help me achieve a natural, glowing look for summer that I have been loving! #CheriePartner

Too Faced Primer
This is another Too Faced Peachy product that I just really can’t get behind. I bought it at the same time I bought the peach perfect foundation. This primer is intended to help with shine control and blur. The formula was just not good and did not soak into my skin well. It comes out of the bottle very clumpy which you can kind of see in the photo I took. I thought maybe if I used it with the matching foundation they would compliment each other, but I feel like it just brought out the worst in both of these products. By the end of the day I looked very oily and quite the opposite of matte. Again, the only plus to this peachy product was it’s great smell. This was $34.00 at sephora, so it’s definitely a set back. Try it at your own risk! Too Faced - Primed & Peachy Primer
Too Faced-Primed & Peachy Primer
Hey y’all 💅🏾 I just wanted to highlight some of my favorite TooFaced products! Honestly, TooFaced creates some of the BEST products that are not only high quality, but they’re suitable for all skin types & tones. Not to mention, all the products smell delicious 😋 My fave TF products are the peach matte lipsticks (shades “Hes With Me” “Sex on the Peach” are brown girl friendly!), the hangover primer (super hydrating, doesn’t pull, smells like refreshing coconut), and the unicorn highlighter (looks pink which is dreamy but glides in gold and smells like cupcakes, what’s not to love!! SN: I do find the Born This Way foundation to be a bit thick, and the concealer as well. However the Peach Matte foundation is incredible!! Super lightweight and skin like (unfortunately my skin reacted with cystic acne bc of the peach scent).

Over-Exfoliated Skin: What To Do NextOver-exfoliation has a plethora of symptoms, ranging from redness and inflammation, tightness of the skin, dryness and flakiness, irritation bumps, rashes, breakouts, and a stinging sensation. With the rise in popularity of at-home chemical exfoliation, it’s easier than ever before to take it a step too far. Everyone is trying out TikTok-famous products like The Ordinary’s AHA 30% and BHA 2% Peeling Solution without an understanding of how strong it really is. Chemical exfoliation is all the rage now, due to its ability to clear up acne, even out the skin tone, and give you a glowy look. But none of these things will happen if you don't exfoliate properly!Sep. 29
