Who doesn’t like candy corn? 🍬
This is such a debated Halloween topic!! Candy corn or no candy corn? I’m on the candy corn side. I’m okay with it. You can give me all your candy corn 😂 I’ve always wanted to do a candy corn eye look and this was my first attempt! It’s not bad but practice makes perfect! I purchased the e.l.f. - e.l.f. x JKissa To The Rescue Eyeshadow Palette which I thought would be a perfect orange base for this look. This palette is adorable! It has a hard white cover but the kicker is it comes with stickers you can use to decorate the palette! (Though does anyone else have that “I can’t use stickers because once they are stuck they are stuck” anxiety?). It has a beautiful row of bright rainbow colors, a muted row of rainbow colors (I’m in love with this muted row), and a shimmer row of rainbow colors. The matte shades are Phenomenal! For $20 I’m really impressed with e.l.f’s matte formula. All the shades are pigmented, blend well, and last well on the eyes. It’s the shimmers that are disappointing. They don’t pop as much as you’d want from a shimmer shade. If anything they seem more metallic. I just wasn’t a fan. For this look I started off with using the KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Shake Primer High-Impact Invisible Eyeshadow Primer . This eyeshadow primer creates a great base of pack on shadows. I took the shade Zuma (muted orange) from the JKissa palette and packed that into the outer crease and blended up. Then I took Millie (bright orange) on a shader brush and packed that onto the outer lid. Then I took the shade Yosemite (bright yellow) on a packer brush and popped that on the center lid. Hindsight is 2020 and in the future I think I would start with the yellow as I had a hard time layering it over the orange. I ended up losing a lot of that yellow color. Then I took the shade Cullinan from the JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Blue Blood Eyeshadow Palette on my finger and packed that on the inner lid. I also took all three shades separately on a flat brush and packed them along the lash line to continue the color story. The eye look was super easy and something I want to try and perfect in the future. After the eyeshadow was done I went in with my KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Tattoo Liner (which is the best brush tip eyeliner on the market. I find this to be the absolute easiest to use and perfect winged liner with) to create a wing shape. I finished off the look with my holy grail benefit - Roller Lash Curling Mascara to add some length and curl to my lashes. I want to try and recreate this look for Halloween. I feel like it’s festive but wearable. What is everyone else doing for their make up for Halloween?

Updated 90s Grunge Look 🦇
So I tried my hand at my version of a 90s grunge look. Make up is all about trial and error. I don’t think the end result was what I wanted but the beauty of make up is it washes off. I definitely want to try again in the future but I still wanted to post my first attempt. So I wanted to start this off stating that I do have oily skin so I tend to lead towards more mattifying products and I’m very fair with olive undertones (I’m Sicilian and Irish). First, I started off with my base as usual. The Ordinary - Colours Coverage Foundation with SPF 15 in shade 1.1N which is the closest I’ve found so far. I want to do an individual review soon but for the price this is an amazing matte foundation with coverage. Then, I use my finger to apply the NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer . I set the concealer with the laura mercier - Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes as it brightens up the area and helps my concealer crease a lot less and the URBAN DECAY - The Velvetizer Translucent Mix-in Medium for the face to keep my matte throughout the day. When I think 90s I think brown tones. That’s why I decided to keep it mainly to bronzer. I used the bronzer in the HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Face Palette to contour my face and give it some worth. I also want to do an individual review on this but spoiler alert the bronzer is amazing! Then I went to the eyes. For this look I used the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette which I forgot how pigmented and beautiful it was. I think the key to 90s grunge is pulling the shades all the way through the crease. I fluffed orange soda all in my crease and then sienna on top of that. Afterwards I packed mulberry into the outer corner and blended it. Where I messed up was I took tempera and put it on the inner corner to open up the eye some (for an updated look) think it was a matte shade (I also think all matte when I think grunge) and it had some shimmer. I tight lined my eyes with the benefit - BADgal BANG! 24 Hour Eye Pencil and then did a little baby wing because I can’t not have winged eyeliner with the KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Tattoo Liner . I finished off the eyes with my holy grail benefit - Roller Lash Curling Mascara . When I think 90s I also think baby brows. Since I’m not plucking my eyebrows (😂😂) I decided to just add some benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel to give some color without actually drawing them in (I also have my eyebrows tinted right now). Then I ended the look with the DOSE OF COLORS - Stay Glossy Lip Gloss in That’s Cool which is a cool brown. In hindsight next time I do this I’ll be more careful to not do a shimmer on the lid and use a matte liquid lipstick but hindsight is 2020 🖤

My Makeup Journey - 1st satisfying full glam
I've been on a makeup journey for the past few months and I've been peaking in the last 2 weeks. I've become obsessed watching JuicyJas videos and buying lots of makeup! Some makeup was given to me from friends' ipsy bags, bought as Sephora with help from an associate (very beginning of journey) and a bulk was bought from Ulta, Walmart and Target based on reviews by JuicyJas and my own curiosity. This is my first really good, satisfying full glam look. I've had huge trouble with acne from one particular break out induced by stress about a month ago which really kickstarted my makeup experimentation. I used to wear barely anything but this breakout was super distracting and embarrassing as I am a scab picker and cannot leave things alone. My face has big red spots from picked scabs and dark scars. I have been doing this all my life and know they will go away and fade eventually. The skin finally almost healed. This whole look took about two hours which included my skin care routine, letting moisturizers and primers set, and washing sponges and cleaning brushes. As you can see I used a huge amount of products. They worked well to cover my acne and it was my first time doing a pink eyeshadow look. I loved it!! I only use a small amount of NARS foundation because it's pretty heavy which I don't like much but I do love adding a small amount over my troubled areas over my Maybelline foundation. I also used e.l.f. eyeliner tape to do the wing for the first time. It worked so well! I have been doing winged eyeliner for years and I'm still not very good at it so I was so happy to find out this product existed. I can do winged eyeliner but it takes much longer to get it just right without the tape. I'm excited for when I better at doing makeup and have less acne to cover up so I don't have to spend so much time getting ready but still get the same results. I am a very expressive person and would love to do full glam everyday! I love coordinating my eyes and lips with my outfits. I went to the movies with this look and wore a pastel pink beanie and pastel pink sneakers to match it. My next project is figuring out how to do my eyebrows!

My faves for a soft glam makeup
Nothing as good as a cat eye with Blush and highlight to gawwwwd! It's the goal right ? So my faves : For your sensitive/dry skin you must truc the New Sclean foundation n'y Sephora collection is so good for its price! My need for a fondation is that it have to have a glowy finish si my skin dryness wouldn't show and Hide my redness but doesn't look caky. This foundation meet the needs! Then on the cheeks the NARS - Orgasm X Cheek Palette is seriously a gem : everything blend so weel and the Blush have a parlé finish to give a Little shine. And the highlight is si bomb! It melt so weel with the skin ans give such a radiant look! My New obsession is full fluffy brows like Belinda from Glow Up does and since most of her products are not available here in Canada i Found some alternatives . The Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products are really good. i use the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Brow Primer to Brush my brow then i fill Up the Blanks in my brow with the brow pen to give a natural finish. On the eye if you have to practice your Liner game, the KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Dagger Tattoo Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner is really good . And to vive a Little dept of the eye and to avoid transfert of the Liner on the lid : the Beauty Bakerie - Proof is in the Puddin’ Palette is perfect for a natural nude look. Then finish with some Lashes an a nude lippie🤗

my everyday makeup ❀ ✧
i’m here to share my everyday makeup! i’ve stuck to this routine for a while and really love it. super simple but still makes me look put together for day to day activities and zoom calls lol. Too Faced - Natural Face Palette i got this for christmas a couple years ago and put it away. it’s never been used, but when i was going through my makeup i stumbled upon it and tried it for a couple days. i fell in love. my taste in makeup has been changing and i love more pinky blushes and don’t really need a super bright highlighter. i mix pink wink and pink sand on my cheeks and then after my eyeliner i use starlight for my inner corner highlight and my nose highlight. so beautiful and they pair so well. if u have a red undertone to your skin it makes you look so cute!!! highly recommend! also sometimes if i feel like it i put the bronzer shades on my eyelids for a bit of color e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel in a recent ulta order i decided to pick this up because i’ve been trying to find my perfect tinted eyebrow gel, and i think i’ve found it! i love the way it holds my brows and the color is perfect. i believe it has fibers in it and it makes my brows look so fluffy! wet n wild - MegaLast Breakup-Proof Black Liquid Eyeliner this is the best drugstore eyeliner i’ve ever tried. almost every eyeliner i try smudges bc i yawn a lot throughout the day. it always ends up under my eyes creating the raccoon eye effect. but not this one. it stays put, the color is super rich, and it’s easy to apply once you get the hang of it as it is a brush tip. NYX - Vinyl Liquid Liner this eyeliner is really hard for me to apply eyeliner bc i’m not used to the brush yet. but i use it to put little dots under my eyes. i think it’s a simple way to add some ✨spice✨ to a simple makeup look 😊 wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara i love this mascara and especially the price. it stays put and keeps my lashes curled. the formula is pretty light which i really like bc it doesn’t weigh down my lashes. i forgot to add this product, but the last thing i do is put a little bit of stila - Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in grace. i apply a little tiny bit on my finger and then gently pat it onto my eye. so beauty and again, a simple way to take a simple look to the next level. it’s not too shimmery and subtle if you put a little bit. i love it💗

makeup in under 10 minutes featuring rare beauty
Sooo the challenge was a ten minute makeup tutorial, but I ended up finishing my daily makeup look way faster than that, in 5 min 28 seconds. This look is perfect for running to the grocery store, to work, to the theme parks nearby, even a casual night out. I have perfected the fast & simple but elegant and fun makeup look in the last ten years, and these are the products that help me! Skin type: combo, rosacea, acne prone, sensitive Skin color: light-medium. Skin concerns: lots of hyperpigmentation and post acne marks, lots of redness. Products used (in order): + ISOMERS - ISOMERS BB Cream really good! Has a nice blurring effect, no tint, and is a great primer. I rub some between my hands to get it warmed up and then apply with my finger tips. + boscia - Skin Perfecting BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 have reviewed this many times before! I am really just trying to finish it at this point. I apply with my fingers and then blend out with my beauty blender from Haley’s beauty - using the sponge saves SO MUCH TIME. + NYX - Vinyl Liquid Liner hands down the best liner ever, doesn’t smudge after it dries down and never moves! + e.l.f. - Instant Lift Brow Pencil I only use the spoolie on this these days - the pencil itself is useless on my thick brows. I will never ever miss this in my routine - I love brushing my brows in place and creating the look I want with them. I’m glad that big fluffy brows are in! + Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer SUPER in love with this concealer. For $19, you really can’t beat it. It’s long lasting, medium to full coverage (for me at least) and doesn’t crease under my eyes. I don’t set my makeup with powder or setting spray at all, and this STILL gives me the best of both worlds between dewy and matte. I have shade 140C (light w cool beige undertones) and it’s a TAD too light for me but blends out beautifully - it works. 48 shades (although not evenly distributed id say). I blend out with my sponge! + BITE - Multistick discontinued but I so adore this. This is a mini but the brand sent me two full sizes when they found out how much I loved it and was sad it was discontinued. I have shade cashew on right now and it’s GORGEOUS. I have used this on my eyelids before as a perfect neutral eye color, but it works best on my cheeks as a blush. The formula is pretty thick so I blend it out with a brush (luxie buffer) instead of my sponge. + ciaté - Wonderwand Intensely Volumising Mascara not my favorite mascara, it clumps easily and I spend a good thirty seconds wiping excess off the brush. But it does fine on! + FEMPOWER BEAUTY - Virtumatte Lipstick one of the best brown shades I’ve ever tried - the formula is very luxe and I love how it looks on me. It’s great for fall and winter, but I rock it year round. #CheriePartner

DIY COLOR CORRECTING MAKEUP ✨💄🦋
Hey guys! What’s up? Today, I thought I’d do a little experiment: I wanted to try making my own color correcting concealer. I just really wanted to know if it was possible to correct my skin with what I already have. So, if you’re wondering how I made this work, it’s simple. I used the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Subculture Eyeshadow Palette and MORPHE - Hint Hint Skin Tint in the shade “Ivory”. The Subculture palette has the perfect selection of colors for this. I used Roxy (peach disguises dark spots on fair to light skin), Untamed (green neutralizes redness and helps conceal blemishes), Edge (yellow combats discolorations such as broken capillaries and age spots), and Rowdy (purple brightens dullness and counteracts sallow tones). Because my biggest issues are redness and dark circles around my eyes (who else doesn’t sleep well?). I used my Roxy and Untamed mixtures to counteract those colors. Depending on the depth of the eyeshadow colors you choose, you may use more or less of your foundation to create the right color for your skin tone. If you’re just looking to do some color correcting maybe once or twice, I’d definitely suggest trying this out. It was so much fun and it’s totally customizable to your skin! After I had my colors all blended out, I wanted to know what it would look like under a full face of makeup! A list of all the products I used to create my final look: LANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation in 110 C. I like this foundation for its medium-full coverage. It’s also very breathable and doesn’t dry my skin out or cause my sensitive skin too much irritation. Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer in “Cloud.” Yes, I am as pale as a cloud. This concealer is so full coverage that I don’t think I need to color correct under it. If you need full coverage concealer, this is definitely worth a try. L'ORÉAL - Unlimited Bendable Mascara (I didn’t see an option for it, but mine is actually Darkest Brown) this mascara is really great at separating and lengthening and I actually had someone ask me if I had eyelash extensions when I wore it, one day. e.l.f. - SRSLY Satin Lipstick in Crème. I’ve seen MannyMua use this color a lot recently, and I really wAnted to try it out. COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter in Flexitarian. Glossier. - Boy Brow + Brow Flick Duo in Brown. KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Ink Liner in Mad Max Brow Tarte Park Avenue Princess Contour Palette. (Was this limited edition? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.)

KVD vegan beauty Eyeliner and Colourpop
Holy grail, this eyeliner is so easy to use, it doesn’t dry off after a lot of uses and its the darkest black one I found in the market. The colourpop pop matte lip, works amazing but it does start to dry off and kinda clumps if you don’t use it often. I do love a good red color and this one is eye catching for sure 💋 plus who can’t beat the colourpop price!!!

Angel vibes. 👼 Cloudy ⛅️ Makeup
Fabulous eye makeup ideas make your eyes pop. I've seen so many great ideas and tutorials on how to create a beautify cloudy look. It is everywhere. You see that cloud on the face and looks like a fluffy blush which was really adorable. I want to share with you how this look is inspired. The look itself seems different and cute. You can wear it to a music festival or night club or Halloween. It might be tuff at this difficult time to go out for party. Stay safe girls! But we can still play with it, take some selfies, post on your social media and get some thumb up. Now lets get into it ~ 1. Start with a light yellow, I am using a brush to layer this as a base colour all over my eyelids. 2. Add orange on the outer corner to great some dimensions 3. Use a big brush to blend these colours together for more of a natural look 4. Use a concealer to cut your crease 5. Use a white eyeliner to create this white little wink 6. Use a green shadow to blend the two together and focusing on the inner corner 7. Add the same colour to the cheeks to make the whole look together 8. Use the same brush working on the lower lash line, 9. Add tones of blush on the center of your cheeks including nose bridge 10. Add some glitters or shimmery eyeshadow on the center of lower lash line and inner corner 11. Using a white face paint to create fluffy clouds and starts and dots And you are done with this beautiful cloudy makeup. It doenst have to be perfect (obviously no one is perfect) and it looks supper cute on selfies. NYX - White Liquid Liner PÜR - My Little Pony: the Movie Collection Eyeshadow Palette

a setting spray and eyeliner duo to kill for
a setting spray and eyeliner duo to kill for
hello! this is both a “daily look” post as well as me screaming praise for 2 products used here. 1) NYX - Epic Ink Liner in Brown what a product! it goes on nice, is super pigmented and pretty, comes off with just a little friction and micelles water but doesn’t budge unless you want it to! i get no flaking or extreme fading. at the end of the night my eyeliner (after sweating in that hot NY weather) was still perfectly in tact. however, another product was at play keeping me flawless. And for 9 dollars, it’s more than worth it’s cost. 2) MORPHE - Mini Continuous Setting Mist Saweet Peach oh my GOD. I finished putting my makeup on at 9:00am and by 12:15am it was still all almost perfectly in tact minus some oily eyelids. i’ve never been so blown away by a setting spray. smells great, works great, wonderful investment. and for 10 bucks? you simply cannot go wrong. love love love.

I don’t wear red lip products often but when I do it’s this product. It’s the perfect shade of red for my skin tone and glides on smoothly. I’ve tried other lip liners that accentuate the lines on my lips and make it look like I’ve gone without drinking any fluids for days 😬 Nyx on the other hand has effective and affordable lip liners and I love them for it! I definitely recommend nyx if you’re looking for the perfect lip liner! I’ve reviewed the Inglot eyeliner and Buxom mascara in previous posts. I love both of these products and wear them frequently. They’re my go-tos! NYX - Slim Lip Pencil [FiveStars] BUXOM - Lash Waterproof Volumizing Mascara INGLOT - AMC Eyeliner Gel

MAKE UP FOR EVER - Artist Color Pencil: Eye, Lip & Brow Pencil - love this lip liner! it’s more on the dry side but that’s why I like it! It doesn’t move around and stays put! Color payoff is so nice! Definitely want to try more shades!! ARTIST COUTURE - Plush Pout Lip Gloss - such a high pigment gloss and stays put! Not too sticky and such a nice nude color! NYX - Filler Instinct Plumping Lip Color - definitely plumps a little bit! More of a balm that gives off a nice color. Color doesn’t stay too long but so easy to reapply !
