Starting differin and panoxyl
I wanted to document my skin journey before I started using differin to see my skin’s improvement. I’m slowly introducing it once every two weeks and then using it more often nightly. My current skincare routine in the am is DR. BRONNER'S - Organic Eucalyptus Castile Liquid Soap This product is great for shaving and other purposes but I haven’t seen any difference in my skin GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner Makes my skin really bright and awake GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum Makes my pores look smaller and gives me bright skin as well ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream This was a waste of money I didn’t really see any difference in my under eyes. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 A little sticky but makes my skin feel very moisturized. PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ Makes my skin feel a little oily but there is no white cast. For pm I use LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser Makes my skin feel very clean great for oily skin And then I continue with the am routine minus the spf. ADVANCED CLINICALS - Dark Spot Corrector I then use this product last it has made my dark spots much less noticeable. Once a week The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I haven’t seen much improvement in my skin. I don’t feel much at all using this product. I oil cleanse with castor and jojoba oil then use my la roche cleanser Previously I have used The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Very sticky but improved my acne there was purging with this product initially. THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent I used this out of habit for a long time there was no improvement in my skin. I’m also going to be switching out my am cleanser for PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength I understand the two products I’m going to be using make your skin very dry so if you have any moisturizer recommendations please leave them below. If there’s anything you think I can change in my routine or any advice please feel free to leave a comment. This is my first week starting these two products I will continue to leave updates. Thank you!

My skincare routine when Breakout🧐
So, today I want to share my skincare routine when I breakout. There is times whether it is too much junck food you are intaking or unhealthy lifestyle or even pressure can cause breakout. I have experienced enough and everytime I stressed out. Here is a skincare routine that I found really working well for me and I really really want to share with you girls. I know it can be very frustrated, but there are good products that can help. And the main point is to stay calm and do not stress out since pressure is only gonna make it worse. Everytime I have breakout, I really want my acne to go completely away, as well as the scars and pigmentation. It is a long process. But I am going to share the products that I've tested and been working well for me. As normal, my skin type is that I'm a little bit oily in my T-zone and a little bit dry/normal on the rest of my face. So I consider myself a combination dry. Since most of my skin is still dry throughout the year all from Mario Badescu MARIO BADESCU - Mario Badescu Drying Lotion This dry lotion is a spot treatment that helps dry up surface blemishes against acnes. The key ingredient in it is Zinc Oxide that works to protects skin and prevents further irritation. I use it during the night since it has the pink powder. And I really feel my acne is getting less irritated and smaller next morning. It works for pretty much all skin types. Sametime I also found it drys out my skin especially around the acne area. So you want to make sure to avoid other areas on your skin, only focusing on the acne . One thing I do want to point out is that DO NOT shake the Drying Lotion. MARIO BADESCU - Silver Powder This powder is mainly for black heads but I do found it calmed my skin really well and does a good job at cleaning. I like to use it during breakout days. I shook out about a tablespoon give or take into the cap of this jar and mix it with purified water. I use it twice a week and after a month I can literally see a difference in pore color and sizes. MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater This spray is my breakout days savier! It is such a nice calming floral face mist. One thing that I am always looking for during breakout days is ingredients. This spray is free of sulfates SLS and SLES and parabens. The natural ingredients including rose water, aloe and herbs helps dehydrated skin with a dewy glow. It really refreshes and moisturizes your skin. It comes as travel friendly bottle, I normally keep it in my bag and constantly use it through out the day.

My Favorite Korean Skincare Products
🇰🇷 Korean Skincare has been gaining traction in the U.S. over the last several years and rightfully so. Korean skincare is typically affordable, effective, focused on hydration and sun protection, and several years ahead of the U.S. in trending ingredients. My combo dry skin LOVES the focus on hydration and I personally really enjoy a longer multi step k beauty routine. I typically et my k beauty products on YesStyle, Wishtrend, Amazon, or Sephora if it’s something like Laneige or Glow a Recipe. Here’s some of my favorite K Beauty products I currently have on rotation: (From top left to bottom right) 🇰🇷 Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream: A very rich, barrier replenishing moisturizer for when my skin is dry or irritated. 🇰🇷 Glow Recipe Plum Plump Serum: An antioxidant rich gel texture hyaluronic serum. I use this daily. 🇰🇷 Mauve Fantastic Ever Cool Kids Never Sleep Cream: A water cream with some loud 80s packaging that I am LIVING FOR. This is a good dupe for the Tatcha Water Cream. 🇰🇷 Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm: A barrier replenishing cleansing balm rich in sea buckthorn oil. 🇰🇷 Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream: A cream gel consistency moisturizer with blue tansy. Great for calming any inflammation. 🇰🇷 Krave Oat So Simple Water Cream: A very lightweight water cream with soothing oats. 🇰🇷 Purito Centella Green Level Safe Sun: Get 👏🏻 Hip 👏🏻 To 👏🏻 This 👏🏻 Sunscreen 👏🏻 it’s like $8 and completely invisible and weightless. This is like my fourth bottle. 🇰🇷 Then I Met You Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel: An antioxidant rich mildly exfoliating gel cleanser. I feel very so so about this. It’s fine but I wouldn’t buy again. 🇰🇷 Laneige Cream Skin Toner: A milky hydrating toner with meadow foam seed oil. 🇰🇷 Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Toner: An incredibly hydrating and plumping watery gel consistency toner. 🇰🇷 Amore Pacific Treatment Enzyme Peel: A richly foaming powder enzyme cleanser gentle enough for every day use.

truly a 5 star product?
Honestly, yes it is. LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer was made for me. I’m convinced. As I have said in previous posts, I have super dry skin. I have used other toners that make my face feel so stripped. You see, I always associated that dry, stripped feeling with being clean. But It doesn’t have to be that way! With winter coming, I knew I was going to need a little extra moisture to avoid the dreaded nose and face flaking. And I think LANEIGE is gonna do the trick! I use this product a little differently than some people because I use this at night with another moisturizer on top. This product by itself probably wouldn’t do the trick for me, but who knows! It feels so moisturizing on it own. Surprisingly so. Maybe I’ll try that out too and report back. I DO know that I like to take my time at night, and I can wear just this toner for a little while before I apply my nighttime moisturizer. Adding this to my routine has been a game changer!

Hyram Approved😍The Ordinary or The Inkey List? Which is the BEST?
The Ordinary and The Inkey List are getting a lot more popular recently because of how affordable they are. In this post, I will give you the answer from Hyram through the ingredients evaluation and his own experience. Niacinamide: treats so many skin problems, such as redness and sensitivity, dark spots and hyperpigmentation, controlling the oiliness in the skin, etc. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%($6) VS. THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum ($7): Ingredient Winner: The Inkey List: in addition to Niacinamide, it contains a lot more incredible ingredients, like Radish Root Ferment to soothe sensitivity, Squalene to hydrate the skin, Sodium Hyaluronate is a concentrated form of hyaluronic acid, Soybean Oil to retain skin moisturized Experience & Performance Winner: The Ordinary: super lightweight and sinks into the skin easier, great for people who have combination to oily skin. Whereas The Inkey List product has a thicker consistency with a heavier layer on the surface of skin, great to dry to normal skin. You can choose any from them based on your own skin type.  Retinol: a powerful ingredient to repair multiple types of damage within the skin, including acne scars, pigmentation, fine line, aging, sun damage, etc. The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5% in Squalane($6) VS. THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum($10)Ingredient Winner: Tied. The Inkey List claims to have 1% retinol but actually 0.5% retinol and 0.5% hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, with is an ester of retinoic acid (an extremely powerful anti-aging and repairing product)Overall: The Ordinary is better because of how many options of retinol at different concentrations they have for a variety of skin types. Retinol can cause a lot of sensitivity if you’re not careful with the concentration Experience & Performance Winner: The Inkey List: No heavy feeling, easy to spread, very effective but non-sensitizing. However, The Ordinary products don’t feel very easy to apply.  Hyaluronic Acid: helps to hydrate and condition your skin THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum($8) VS. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 ($7)Ingredient Winner: Tied. The Inkey List contains Peptides to help soothe and plump the skin, Glycerin to draw in moisture, and radish root ferment. The Ordinary has Ahnfeltia Cocinna Extract to hydrate the skin. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid): brighten pigmentation and dark spots, protect against free radical damage throughout the day. While it is a very unstable ingredient, it could be very effective when it’s put in a stable formula. Ingredient Winner: The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone($7): It’s a water-free formula, but also has squalene, coconut alkanes, which is great for hydrating and moisturizing the skin. Experience & Performance Winner: THE inkey LIST - Vitamin C Brightening Cream($10): very lightweight on the skin, and Hyram never had sensitivity while using this product.  Glycolic Acid: dissolves all the dead skin cells off the surface of your skin to make your skin glow and hydrated Ingredient Winner: The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution($9): the primary ingredients have Glycerin, a bunch of different amino acids, and Panax Ginseng Root Extract to support the health of the skin Experience & Performance Winner: THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Liquid Toner 100ml($11): no sensitivity reaction but still effective for exfoliating the face  Cleaners: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser($8)THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser($10), THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm ($10), THE inkey LIST - Oil and Water Double Cleanser($10)Ingredient Winner: The Inkey List Experience & Performance Winner: The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm ($10): incredible for moving sunscreen, oil, and dirt from the face  Moisturizers: Winner: THE inkey LIST - Hemp Oil Cream Moisturiser ($13): good for reducing redness; THE inkey LIST - Snow Mushroom Hydrating Gel Moisturizer($10): great for reducing sensitivity; THE inkey LIST - Multi-Biotic Balancing Moisturizer($13): great for healing the healthy bacteria count on your skin The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA($8): it is good but in comparison to The Inkey List it just doesn’t stand out  Check the link below to watch more from Hyram, and let me know if you have any thoughts.💖💖 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Znd29c8mTo&feature=emb_title

New Buys and Rebuys
I did a mini skincare and haircare haul and I’m excited to get into my new products! I had already used the mini versions of the fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner and PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator and love the way my skin feels when I use them, so I decided to rebuy in full sizes. The exfoliant has been helping with my skin’s texture and pores, while the toner makes my skin feel smooth and luxurious, which just what I need as the weather gets colder. My thin hair has been looking pretty dull and stringy the past few months, so I decided to try out the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampooto help with buildup, as I’ve heard really good things about this scrub. I also wanted to try out The Ordinary - Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Densityto see if it would help my hair look thicker and fuller. Excited to start using these! #cheriepartner

Toner’s battle: Which one Wins?💪
For every skincare product, they have their own different responsibilities. In some people's minds, toners seem to be dispensable commodities. They may think that essence or lotion does a better job of caring for their skin. I am hopeful that this misunderstanding will be rectified here. In fact, the effect of toner lies in cleaning again after facial cleanser, adjusting the skin's natural pH balance, and promoting the skin to better penetrate the follow-up essence or cream. In my skincare routine, I attach importance to the benefits of toner and have tried many products. For dry skin type like me, it's best to choose a nonalcoholic toner.  Let me first state that I have dry and a little sensitive skin, then I’d like to introduce some toners I ever used. ▷ Lancome Comforting Rehydrating Toner LANCÔME - Tonique Confort Comforting Rehydrating Toner This toner contains honey and seed almond extract, smell good, and not overwhelming. It’s not all watery, more like a liquid gel, not greasy, and feels great when putting on your face. It is gentle enough and very moisturizing, so my sensitive complexion loves this. My skin becomes softer and more even. ▷ Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner I like using Fresh products but this Fresh toner doesn’t impress me. It smelled great, formulated with rose fruit extract. My cheeks indeed glow but I don't really feel the benefits of nourishing. In addition, the rose petals do clog the nozzle so it can be difficult to pour the product.  ▷ Clarins Toning Lotion CLARINS - Toning Lotion with Camomile This toner is also very fragrant, with purifying Chamomile and Linden extracts. Actually, I think it does better in face clean since it can pick up a lot of stuff that the face wash omit. It’s gentle enough to use on the eye area to remove remnants of makeup. It’s mild and effective, and leaves my face clean, refreshing, and nourishing. In addition, it doesn’t leave a residue and doesn’t burn. My sensitive skin becomes less irritated. I'm happy with it. In these three things, I love Lancome toner best because it gives me better experience and results Share with me your thoughts!

Plump and Juicy Beauty Routine
My skin is the most important thing to me on my face. When my skin is looking right and tight I feel beautiful and confident. My beauty routine can be used day or night and is great for dry skin. I love a plump, juicy, and firm look to the skin and I’ve found this system keeps me looking snatched! It’s important to do this routine in order for the best results. 1. I start with cleansing the skin using the Kate Somerville Eradikate daily foaming cleanser after I’ve dampened my face with warm water. I love this cleanser because of its acne treating ingredients like 3% sulfur. I find it gives me a really deep clean and removes both my makeup and whatever dirt I have. I like to massage it into my skin for about 30 seconds and then rinse with warm water. 2. After I pat my face dry with a clean towel I then tone the skin with the Glow Recipe Watermelon glow toner. This toner has a lovely smell and feel, it has PHA and BHA to tighten pores and plump the skin. I simply apply it on the palms of my hands and pat it gently on to the face and neck. 3. This product is new for me but I’m absolutely obsessed with it. The Kate Somerville DermalQuench liquid lift serum is kinda a game changer for me. It comes in a spray bottle which you must shake well and then you spray it all over the face and neck, it tingles on the skin and foams, you must immediately massage it into the skin after application. This serum honestly firms, lifts, hydrates, and tightens the skin. It’s an oxygen facial and a hyaluronic serum all in one and I’ve seen immediate results with it. 4. The lashes mustn’t be neglected! I then use the Grande Lash lash enhancing serum on the base of my lashes. I’ve seen very fast results with this product, my lashes are growing in thicker, longer, and darker after using the serum day and night. 5. Once those serums have soaked in I then apply IS Clinical’s Youth eye complex to the entirety of the outside area of the eye. This product was gifted to me and I’ve been using it for 2 months now. It gives nice hydration and luminosity to the eye area and is Gentile. I apply half a pump to my ring fingers and pat the product in all around the eye. 6. The moisturizing step is the most important! I have a serious addiction the the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. I’ve never tried a moisturizer that made my skin look so good. This moisturizer activates dormant stem cells in the skin and deeply hydrates. It has a Devine creamy texture that literally melts into the skin. I dispense 2 pumps onto my finger tips and begin massaging it all over my face and neck. I do a little lymphatic drainage by massaging from the center of the face towards the outer part of the face, then down the neck to reduce fluid build up in the face and decrease puffing especially I the morning. The best part Is this moisturizer perfectly primes my skin for makeup application as well. 7. This last step isn’t necessary unless I’m feeling like I need an extra jolt of moisture and glow. If I need it I will use the Augustinus Bader The Face Oil on top of the Rich Cream. This gorgeous oil plumps my skin and adds the most healthy luminous glow.

This hurt my skin😡 Glow Recipe PHA+BHA toner😔
SKIN TYPE: Eczema, sensitive & acne-prone. Highly allergic to dust and pollen😔 I have a lot of clogged pores and comedones, unexplained bumps etc. but this toner helped the clogged pores and bumps🥵 GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner This product is a high-end toner that claims to deliver supple, hydrated skin through non-irritating acids (PHA/BHA) as an exfoliant for congested skin/clogged pores. While the glowy look and visible decrease in clogged pores/bumps was achieved it certainly had its cons when I use this product. I’ve used this product for ~2 months and I’m not entirely certain if it’s due to the fragrance or if it’s just not the right product for me but this product really purged tf out of my skin before giving me the dewy, glass skin look. I use the toner after I double-cleanse, using 1-3 drops patting into the skin all over the face until dry, finishing the skincare routine with Avène - Cicalfate Restorative Skin Cream , Avène - Skin Recovery Cream & sometimes Bio-Oil - Dry Skin Gel orAvène - Hydrance AQUA-GEL orLA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 Soothing Repairing Balm I found that a day after each use, my skin begins to dry up and either in angry red patches like a usual eczema flare up, except it’s not really itchy just red and raw kind of pain. This would continue for a few days to a week, sometimes resorting to using my prescribed corticosteroid ointment to get rid of the adverse reaction Although my skin did get angry and irritated like an absolute bitch, I found that my skin did visibly clear up from previous clogged pores and bumps, smoothing the skin and looked quite glowing. I don’t get really pimples anymore after incorporating this product into my routine and when they do occur they’re gone in a day I haven’t seen anyone with a similar reaction to this product hopefully it’s just a minor allergy reaction to ingredients or my bad in over-exfoliating as I found that using smaller amount of toner (1-2 drops) as spot treatments worked as effectively without the irritation Honestly the productGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner did work for me just not in the way I expected it would nor recommend anyone to try if you know you would react badly to it. The price ($54AUD) could be justified that you won’t be using much at a time so it’ll last hella long and it does deliver what it claims to do which is exfoliate and decongest the skin. I didn’t find it particularly hydrating and has a tacky gel consistency that absorbed quickly into the skin but it did decrease my clogged pores and comedones🥰. After finishing this bottle I would not repurchase since there’s probably new products that wouldn’t cause such a reaction by the time I’m finished and probably cheaper if not better alternatives available.

Asking for tips/suggestions!!!
The Ordinary - Retinol 1% in Squalane haven’t used it for a long period of time to give a review. But there are times i would apply this at night and my skin is feeling soft like a baby’s butt. The way i integrate this product in my routine, is that i would use this only as my active and the rest of my skincare is gentle and basic. Cerave hydratjng cleanser, kiehls calendula toner, then this serum, and finish it with a nourishing cream such as drunk elephant lalaretro whipped cream! I know retinol can be very drying which is why i used the moisturizer that has the most beneficial ingredients. I got myself two bottles thinking i would go through this quick, but i thought wrong. Which is why i started using it on my neck every day, i have some noticeable lines that i would like to get rid of. i would buff it with the cerave lotion, and apply a few drops on the palm of my hands and apply it on my neck and chest. I only use this once a week, ive learned it the hard way and used so much actives at once that my skin became hella sensitive. Any suggestions as to how i could benefit more to this serum? YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Tonerno ratings, because i haven’t used it yet! I ended up buying the smaller bottle of it, because for now i’m finishing up the drunk elephant aha/bha serum before i could try this product out. Please give me tips on how to use it, how i can incorporate it in my routine, should i just not have bought it at all? Lol 🆘

Battle of the Toners 🥊
💭 I remember when I was in high school, I would use toners as makeup removers. I cringe at that memory, specifically because it was an alcohol heavy toner that would burn my face and eyes every time... This memory made realize how misunderstood toners are and how much they’ve evolved! This post will give you a brief intro to the toners I use and why! ❗️Please do not use alcohol based toners. There is no need to be that silly. We can treat skin concerns without damaging your skin barrier. Hydrating Toners: My favorite type of toner! I use it almost every morning and night (when I don’t use exfoliants). I like these because they’re gentle and nourish your skin with the moisture it needs. It’s basically the prepping step so your next skincare products can absorb more efficiently into the skin. I have been using my rice toner for a while now and it’s a holy grail. Check out my other post for my review on it! I'm from - Rice Toner AHA Exfoliation Toners: These are a wonder and come in so many different formulations/percentages that I believe any skin type will be able to find their perfect match! I use these probably 2x/week max depending on if I’m using an AHA serum or not (I never use them together). I like these toners a lot better because I really do see a difference since using them long term. I’ve seen a huge decrease in dullness and breakouts! Be careful if you’re new to exfoliation or have sensitive skin. The YTTP might be a little too strong if you don’t have the tolerance but once you build up to it, it’s a fantastic product. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner I’m not a fan of the Ole Henriksen one. It claims to reduce dark spots and it did not do it for me. I’m still using it just because I need to finish it. But would not repurchase. As for exfoliation, I think it might be a good starter but overall the fragrance aspect of it is not my favorite and I think you can find better exfoliation toners/serums out there. OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner BHA Exfoliation Toners: You got an acne flare up? Milia? Inflammation? Blackheads? This is your stop! BHA products are fat soluble so they dig deep in your pores and get rid of excess oils or dead skin. This in turn makes your pores look smaller, erase black head visibility and calm your acne inflammation! I bought the Paulas Choice BHA toner bc I kept getting blackheads around my nose and my hormonal acne needed to be tamed. The toner did just that and even made me look a little brighter/ glowy the next day! I love this product and even tho it markets that it can be used every day, I kind of just use it the weeks I feel that I need to treat my hormonal acne or if my pores are looking quite large. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator 💡Final Thoughts: Start with a small % & don’t overuse.

Good Molecules Niacinamide Toner Review
GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner I SO wanted to love this product AND........ I do. I’ve seen a big change in my skin using this Niacinamide toner and The ordinary Niacinamide serum. I was having trouble with huge pores and facial redness. My face is much smoother, less red and my pores look much better. I think this is what I needed. I read tons of reviews and was impressed. This is my first Good Molecules product and I definitely want to try more. I ordered this directly from Good Molecules because it was a tiny bit cheaper than Beautylish (penny-pincher 🤗🤗🤗🤍). Shipping was pretty quick and shipped out same day I ordered. They also sent a sample Cleanser bar. (I was excited lol. I love a sample!!!) It was great. It makes my skin feel good and clean. I used it while in the shower. This product comes in a glass bottle. I use it by pressing down the top on a cotton ball several times to get a good amount to use on my face. It’s not super thick. No burning with this product. I use it twice a day most of the time ( AM/PM). I bought the smaller size bottle to try it out. I will buy the bigger size next time. The price on Good Molecules are great and comparable to The Ordinary. The small bottle was $6 and the bigger size is $14. I definitely recommend it especially if you have large pores and/or facial redness.

✈️ in-flight routine (planning ahead!)
of course leisure travel is on hold on right now, but I love planning what I’ll have in my carry-on cosmetic bag one day! I always fly without makeup and make a point to do my skincare routine even if I’m flying all day. I love using an overnight mask as a barrier, too. my favorite is Embryolisse - Lait Crème Concentré it leaves my skin soft + visibly brighter. I always make sure to also have a mist to ensure my skincare doesn’t get dehydrated on the plane! SPF is another given, remember to wear SPF every day, EVEN WHEN YOU’RE INSIDE!! a few other things in my bag are a travel-sized perfume, deodorant, and hand cream (wash those hands!). what would you have in your in-flight routine? #cheriepartner

Fresh skincare routine 🧼
fresh - Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer this is super thick and hydrating, perfect for a night cream. Personally anything with rose gives me a strange reaction to it. I get really red in the face and my skin feels hot. This would be good if it didn’t have rose but if your face isn’t sensitive to roses then this is good for you. fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash love this! Not stripping or drying and it has pretty healthy ingredients for the skin. Don’t have any reactions to it, and normally I’m super sensitive to a lot of ingredients. Would buy again! fresh - Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence this was my favorite out of all of them. Don’t apply to a cotton pad just dab some into fingertips and pat onto skin. The cotton pads absorb too much to where it barely gets on the skin. Moisturizing and my skin had zero bad reaction to it. Haven’t gotten any acne from this brand other than the redness from the rose moisturizer.

Easy Skincare for Days You Don’t Feel Like It
For those of us who struggle with mental illness, you know how hard it can be to do your skincare on days when you feel like you can’t be bothered to. On those more difficult days, I cut myself back to the basics of skincare so I’m still taking care of myself and my skin, but not over exerting my mental or physical capacity. Skipping a few days is fine, but I know my mental health is much better when I take care of my skin, so I use opposite action to get myself just to do the basics of my routine. I cleanse at night (and in the morning if i feel up to it), mostly on days like these I can’t be bothered to do things in the morning besides brushing my teeth, so washing at night is the best bet. That way you don’t go to sleep with all of the grime of the day still sitting on your skin. I skip oil cleansing and just go in with a gentle jelly or milk cleanser for a minute. If I really can’t be bothered to cleanse, I’ll use a micellar water or something similar and then wipe my skin down after that again with a toner soaked cotton round. Then regardless of how I cleanse, I rise with cool/cold water to help with inflammation, as usually I’m too tired to ice my face. This still gives me some of the positive benefits without spending too much time standing and rubbing ice on my face. Next I tone with a hydrating toner that has no actives but plenty of healing ingredients as I’m not using a serum, and lock it in with an occlusive oil or a sleeping mask like YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask all over my face and in place of eye cream. This keeps the hydration next to your skin to be absorbed during the night and treats it even without additional serums🌟 I then add pimple patches on the areas I might want to pick, a healing skin balm on irritated areas and I’m done with my skincare! Bonus points for a lip balm like BITE - Agave+ Nightime Duo which is all natural and leaves my lips feeling like silk all night! This is truly a low effort once-a-day routine for those times where you just can’t bring yourself to do anything.

5-second reviews: September Skincare Empties
Hi friends!!! I have been super busy recently and didn’t realize how much I have emptied this month already! This isn’t even HALF but these are the empties I feel comfortable reviewing at the moment! Please keep in mind I have fair skin that is sensitive, acne-prone, and prone to rosacea flare ups. I would consider myself combination dry with oily t zone. Here are my quick thoughts on each product: ORIGINS - Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash this face was is OK. It’s definitely affordable but it gives your skin the same feeling as if you were using a bar of soap—very slippy and tight. If my skin were oily I would probably like this, but I can’t recommend it for dry or sensitive skin. Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum OOF! I won this in a giveaway on Instagram. I had heard such amazing things about it but it ended up wrecking my skin. It contains some fruit acids as well as fragrance so it burned up my skin. This was the only thing I changed in my routine and I went from minimal redness and acne to a full face of irritation and breakouts. You can’t pay me to use another allies of skin product. FARMACY - Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm this literally made my lips PEEL. I just needed to declutter it for my own sake!! It seems Farmacy’s ingredients are all just a no from me dawg. Awake - Lip Therapy Lip Mask if you hate the goopy, stickiness of the laneige lip mask you will hate this one too...it’s even worse! I will say that it does a great job of hydrating my lips but I can’t get over the stickiness. INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner I loved this toner!! Until I was 7/8ths through the bottle. It started immediately pilling and irritating my skin. Super disappointing. I also no longer support this brand. I used it as a hydrating step in my routine after cleansing but before serums. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer I really love Biossance products but this one was a miss. You would probably like it if you have oily skin! But it just gave me a weird affect like my skin just drank it up and left nothing to actually moisturize my skin after. Supergoop! - Defense Refresh (Re)setting Mist SPF 40 * THE DEVIL SPRAY! It smells like straight up chemicals. Not even sunscreen. Just chemicals. It burned my skin!! I would even shake it up for a good 30-60 seconds before applying but my skin was not having it. *gifted by the brand PEACE OUT - Acne Healing Dots These are worth every penny. Hands down the best pimple patches I have ever used! They’re a little pricey but worth it. COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch These are my favorite drugstore pimple patches. Not as effective as the Peace Out dots but I highly recommend them to everyone!! Any questions about these products? #CheriePartner

Heres my routine for tonight.
Heres my routine for tonight. 🌛 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I've been incorporating a few new products into my routines like the rosylana Hydrating cleanser, along with the regenerating moisturizer. I'm in LOVE with these two products, they both have a subtle but fantastic scent, cleanser smells like light oranges, and the moisturizer has a very mild floral scent that is so pleasing. It's organic wild crafted skincare which I just love. 💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ products listed in order ... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ farmacy green clean cleansing balm as my first cleanse to remove my makeup ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ rosy lana Hydrating sweet orange cleanser. Using this as my second cleanse tonight. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ thayers natural witch hazel rose petal toner clarityrx clinical daily dose of water hyaluronic acid serum. I've really been enjoying this Hyaluronic acid, it makes my skin so plump and I need all the extra Hydration I can get. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ maelove skincare pure marula oil organic wild harvested. This is such a great affordable marula oil, I love it. It sinks right into the skin, I mix this in with my moisturizer after using my retinol. ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ sunday riley retinol sleeping night oil, I apply this before the marula oil/ moisturizer. I've had a few of these sizes of this retinol night oil, I've enjoyed it, it doesn't seem to irritate my skin at all, I like the results from the next morning, but I'm not sure if I would buy a full size of it, since there's so many new retinols on the market. 😁 rosy lana regenerating moisturizer, this I've been mixing with the marula oil, but even on it's own, it's a very Hydrating moisturizer, I really love how it makes my skin feel, plus the scent is lovely. ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ artisan luxe Dynamic uplifting eye concentrate, this I'm still testing out, but it has been a really great eye cream for using at night I've found, It's really Hydrating and feels great on the skin.

Breaking The Myth: Glycolic Acid & Retinoids
Breaking The Myth: Glycolic Acid & Retinoids
So there’s a thing going around that you shouldn’t mix glycolic acid (AHA) with Retinol (retinoids). ✨ (I will post links to medical studies done and their proven results) ✨ I will say that I have experimented with this for a few weeks and my skin has cleared up tremendously! I just incorporated the glycolic acid but my skin has been fine. I DO NOT have: Sensitive skin Allergies ACTIVE OPEN BREAKOUTS (few minor bumps here and there) Dry Skin (I’m more combo) ”Active New Skin” (I have been using Differin Gel for 3 months Glycolic acid for 2 weeks. My skin is adjusted to actives) If you have any of those this might cause you irritation. 🚨I use this once-twice a week to treat small hyperpigmentation issues and texture irregularities.🚨 Why do professionals not recommend them together? Many professionals see that people experience irritation, sensitivity, and other issues. There’s also a concern that the PH level of glycolic acid will disrupt retinol. This research is outdated and done in a Petri dish NOT skin. There is room for irritation, which you would still experience.. using them separately! I also would not recommend if you suffer from any other issues as stated above, or to introduce everything slowly! My routine: Cleanser philosophy - Nature In A Jar Gentle Detoxifying Cleanser With Agave Amazing gentle cleanser that helps prevent inflammation. (I also recommend CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser) Tone The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Can be drying, I recommend using a hydrating cleanser. Serum: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🚨Skip this is you’re new to this routine🚨 Treat: SKINCEUTICALS - A.G.E. Eye Complex for Dark Circles HG for dark circles! DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel HG FOR ANY ACNE ! Moisturize: nooni - Applebutter Lip Mask Leaves my lips very smooth CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Very gentle and great for this routine Cliganic - 100% Rosehip Oil I love to mix this in as a extra layer of Vitamin A and to keep my acne at bay. I only add 2 drops to my moisturizer. Links for research: Chandrashekar, B., Ashwini, K., Vasanth, V. & Navale, S. ⚡️EXFOLIATION NIGHT ROUTINE⚡️
⚡️EXFOLIATION NIGHT ROUTINE⚡️
On Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays I exfoliate!! Monday nights are the days I apply my retinol, while Thursday and Saturday I use my regular chemical exfoliant ✨ 🌿CLEANSER- Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser I LOVE this cleanser! I have combination-oily skin, but recently I’ve been trying to hydrate my skin more and it’s done WONDERS for my oil production! This cleanser is not stripping at all and leaves my skin soft and hydrated! ⚡️EXFOLIATOR- 💙RETINOL (Monday’s)- DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel I’ve been prescribed this by my doctor about a year ago and saw a huge difference with my acne. I just started using it again, and I forgot how much it helps. The only con is that I forget how drying and irritating it can be. Once a week is a good spot for me right now at this dosage. ☕️CHEMICAL- YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner This is my first chemical exfoliator and it’s lasting me a longgg time. I enjoy using this as it’s very good at deep cleansing my pores and getting extra dirt out of them. It has a ‘natural’ smell, aka not an amazing one. But still gets the job done! 💧SERUMS- ☁️The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I LOVE THIS it’s absolutely amazing at controlling my oil production and evening out my skin!!! I will say though, I haven’t noticed it help with my acne, but I don’t believe niacinamide is supposed to treat acne. 🌊The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5Just started using this, so can’t really rate it. But I love hyaluronic acid serums so I’m sure it’ll be great :) 💦FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum this could be so good, but I’ve noticed that it burns my face, especially my cheeks when I apply it. Shame. 👀 EYE SERUM- The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I’ve struggled my whole teenage life with bags under my eyes. It seemed as if it didn’t matter how much sleep I got, I was always puffy and baggy. This is helping reduce the bags so much!! Bless the ordinary 🐘MOISTURIZER- DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream I have been using this for about 2.5 weeks, and i just love the look and feel of my skin after I use it and when I wake up in the morning. It’s plump and hydrated 👄LIPS- LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask this is only 3 stars because honestly I get the same results if I put on carmex before bed. It’s a nice experience with the spatula applicator and everything, but it’s not worth the money.

AM ROUTINE-newbie edition✨
AM ROUTINE-newbie edition✨
So these are the products I’ve been using for over a month now for my skin in the morning!! I start with the Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser love how gentle and easy this wash is. Never leaves my skin dry or tight and feels like the perfect step one. Then I move on to the THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent (the rose petal). I have never used a toner before and since I’m scared of drying out my skin I went with this easier option and I love it, the smell is super soft and I do believe its helping out with my pesky pores. Once thats dry I apply my serums: The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 & ELEMIS - Absolute Eye Serum I got these both as gifts and for now I’m giving them a 4. The Ordinary’s serum is fine but its just that I dont think it add much to my skin and it is a little sticky - and as for elemis my biggest concern is dark circles and this just doesn’t cut it. But I’ll continue to use both until they’re empty! Then I top off with The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (also a gift) a little goes a long way with this one, but I think it flakes a bit after it dries which I dislike. Finally, theres the #Palmers - Coconut Water Facial Mist[products]#[FiveStars] I bought this cause I needed a mist in my routine and found this to be pretty simple and natural, love the smell and how it has vitamin e which is why I use at the end. It can also be used on hair which I love multipurpose products! And theDOCTOR ROGERS RESTORE - Healing Balm its amazing on my lips but once its gone my lips are pretty much dry again, also the sticky consistency doesn’t feel great other dry skin areas they recommend. So let me know what you all think! If you have any suggestions/tips please send my way. Currently looking into incorporating vitamin C as well as finding new eye/lip products!

Need advice! Skincare
Need advice! Skincare
I’ve started using really getting into my skincare over the last couple of months and need some help and recommendations! I don’t want to spend a fortune on my skincare if I don’t have to but am happy to splurge on products if they will really work for me. I have oily skin and hormonal acne (two weeks of the month my skin is super clear, the other two, I get a lot of breakouts!) I also have a bit of pigmentation and scarring. These are the products I’ve been using and my thoughts so far! Morning: Simple - Hydrating Cleansing Oil great for removing makeup and for a base cleanse before using a foaming cleaner sebamed - sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash I love this cleanser! It’s gentle and soap free and leaves my face feeling clean! - AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum I’ve been using this for about 6 or 8 weeks now and i wouldn’t call it a “miracle” but it seems to be helping. Any spots I have clear up a lot more quickly than they used to The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I think this product has helped reduce my pores, especially around my nose and under my eyes #Andalou Naturals - Argan Stem Cell Recovery Cream#I’ve only recently added this into my regime as I love their brightening renewal cream Night: I use the same cleaners as in the morning Followed by The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution makes my skin feel nice toned after cleansing Followed by the same - AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum ANDALOU NATURALS - Renewal Cream, Probiotic + C, Brightening I am obsessed with this brightening cream, I have been using it for years and it makes a big difference to my skin in terms of tone, texture and blemishes The Ordinary - Retinol 1% in Squalane very oily but leaves my skin feeling soft and my skin texture has improved since using Masks: I alternate mask use depending on my skins needs The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque I use this sparingly maybe once a week, the first time I used it I couldn’t believe the difference it made to my skin, I had little bumps around my nose and this cleared them up almost instantly! ANDALOU NATURALS - Glycolic Mask, Pumpkin Honey, Brighteningthis one is new to me, the first time I used it it stung my skin quite a bit, which according to the website is normal, I haven’t seen anything amazing yet but from reviews I have read I will definitely keep using it #Innisfree - Jeju volcanic melting clay mask[FourStars] I love this because it is warm on the skin so it is lovely in winter, it’s exfoliating and leaves my skin feeling fresh Spot treatment: #Innisfree - Bija Cica Gel[FiveStars] helps clear spots quickly Please leave any recommendations and tell me what I can do better! I’m up for learning and just want beautiful fresh skin all month long!
