Fav Lip Products! 💋
Like most of you, I’m a lip care junkie! I believe that you can never have enough lip products! In this article, I’m going to share my most favorite lip products with you. 🍯 *Bite Beauty Agave Nighttime Therapy Lip Mask ($24): This lip mask is so underrated and doesn’t get the love that it deserves! It’s super hydrating and thick. It has a natural sweet scent from the agave. I put this on every night and in the morning, my lips are so soft and moisturized! 🥭 Glossier Balm Dotcom ($12): This simple but hydrating formula comes in so many fun flavors! My favorite is the mango balm dotcom, but I also have the cherry one. These smell so good and some have a sheer tint. 🍓 Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ($20): Everyone and their mothers have this mask! But it’s popular for a reason. This berry mask is smooth and hydrating and leaves your lips feeling so soft! 🌼 Glossier Lip Gloss ($14): This gloss comes in clear, spicy, and sparkly! Such fun shades! This non-sticky formula has a beautiful gloss and is also moisturizing to the lips! I have the clear shade and this is my go-to gloss! 🌺 Burts Bees Passion Fruit Lip Oil ($6): This is one of my favorite drugstore finds! It is a cheap option for such a luxurious formula. This lip oil is so hydrating and smells EXACTLY like passion fruit (one of my favorite scents)! 🌸 *Biossance Squalane and Rose Vegan Lip Balm ($24): This is a little on the pricey side for a lip balm, but it’s worth it. This smooth and moisturizing formula is so luxurious. This also has squalane, which has anti-aging properties. And the packaging is so pretty! * Clean at Sephora (free of parabens, pthalates, SLS, synthetic fragrance, etc.) BITE - Agave+ Nighttime Vegan Lip Therapy LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask Glossier. - Balm Dotcom Glossier. - Glossier. 👄 Skin Concern: Dry Lips 👄
My skin type is typically combo oily but has been drier lately due to the weather fluctuations. This has also impacted my lips and has been them very dry and prone to chapping. My skin concerns are chapped lips, dehydrated/dry skin, acne scars along the sides of my cheeks, and pores on my cheeks and nose. . I got this product in one of my BoxyPremium boxes as my choice item. I’ve been using it since around January or so. It claims to nourish and soothe the lips. It does have a slight scent, but it isn’t overwhelming. You can tell it’s on your lips, but it isn’t thick or gloopy feeling like lip gloss. I use this after my skincare routine and after I’ve brushed and flossed and all that jazz for my teeth since I don’t want to just wipe it away when I dry my mouth/lips. I can feel it for about 1-2 hours after I put it on, then my lips feel nourished and not slippery anymore. This thickness allows the product to deeply nourish and help alleviate the chapped feeling I have that makes me want to constantly lick my lips. This has been basically the only lip balm that has actually helped treat and prevent my lips from feeling and getting chapped. It is pretty thick, so if you get too much out of your lip line, it can create pimples there since it’s so heavy. This is perfect for after you use a lip scrub or winter time. It is pretty expensive at $24 for 0.5 oz / 15 g, but it has really helped my lips and had a difference!

My Fav Lip Babes
I use DHC - Lip Cream on a day-to-day basis and apply it whenever my lips feel dry. However, the lip balm itself is too soft and easily becomes deformed after being used. Occasionally, I use fresh - Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator to remove dead skin cells. Its scent is really appetizing! I'll use Plift Placenta and Vitamin C Lip Essence at night. I've also tried LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask, which is the only product I threw away without finishing. It was fine when I used it continuously, but my lips peeled like crazy once I stopped using it. Since it's also not fragrance-free, I decided to stop using it. My lips felt a lot better after switching to this lip essence.
I just bought 4 fresh lip care products. They are Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy, Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator, Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapy, and Sugar Peach Hydrating Lip Balm fresh - Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliatorhas a sweet scent and feels relatively gentle, but it's a bit too greasy, leaving an oil film on the lips even after you wash it off. I highly recommend fresh - Sugar Dream Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy, which is their star product. I have dry, peeling lips but after using this, they don't peel anymore. I usually use it as a lip primer before applying lipstick and now even matte lipstick doesn't dry my lips. fresh - Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapyclaims to lighten lip lines. I usually apply a little of it at night and it's absorbed easily. I don't feel it lightening my lips lines for now, but it probably takes longer to achieve that. fresh - Sugar Peach Hydrating Lip Balm has a sweet peach scent. I usually use this lip mask after the serum is completely absorbed, then wake up with amazing lips the next day. Overall, I like all four of these products.

My holy grail lip products
ALGENIST - GENIUS Liquid Collagen Lip It's a vegan collagen moisturizing lip treatment that restores the lip fullness and contours for youthful-looking lips in 10 days. It still doesn't run out and I already bought a new one 😂😂. This product has positive but also negative reviews, where they say it doesn’t work 😟. In my experience it works! Unfortunately I don't take the precaution of taking a photo before I start using it ☹️. But I have one from November of last year (15 days after start using it) and one from February of this year where you can see a change 👏🏻. I've struggled for years with dry lips and this product was my salvation. I use it in the morning and at night. Apply on the lips with the tip and then using the opposite side massage the bottom of the lip from side to side. 💡 Tip: I read this in a review on sephora and it gave me excellent results. PM: after putting it on, apply a night lip mask (I use LANEIGE - Kiss Me at Midnight ). AM: after putting it on, apply a heavy lip balm like BITE - Agave Lip Mask (I have the old version, and it works very well for me). But you can use it with lipstick, gloss or a regular lip balm. In my experience the lips last longer hydrated with Bite lip mask.
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask (old formulation)
They changed the formula to make it without lanolin so that they can be “vegan”. I actually love this old formula. It is extremely hydrating to my lips and I use it everynight. It can be sticky if you use too much for be weary of that! I have not tried the new formula so I cannot recommend it as this old formula is discontinued. If you’ve tried the nee formula, let me know!! It is $26 for 0.52oz which is expensive but worth it. For the new formulation: Quoted via the sephora site: “What it is: A lanolin-free, vegan, intensive lip mask—supercharged with superfoods—for hydration and healthy skin, with a cushiony, soothing texture. Highlighted Ingredients: - Agave Nectar: Bite Beauty’s signature ingredient to help soothe and nurture for more kissable lips. - Mangosteen Extract: A tropical fruit known to be rich in antioxidants that helps keep lips moisturized. - Açaí: A small but mighty nutrient-rich fruit that gives lips an antioxidant boost.” BITE - Agave Lip Mask

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Scrub
This is a new addition to my skincare products. I’ve been looking for a good lip scrub for so long! I have loved this brand for a while so I decided to give this one a try. First off, I love the scent/taste of this. It’s very brown sugar and sweet smelling. It’s not overly rough like other scrubs I’ve tried before. I can notice an immediate difference after rinsing this off my lips, they instantly feel smoother and more hydrated. I’m very happy I took a chance on this product. A little goes a long way! Definitely recommend!BITE - Agave+ Weekly Vegan Lip Scrub
Bite Lip Scrub
BITE - Agave+ Weekly Vegan Lip Scrub I got this in a mini kit over the holidays and I had such high hopes, but ended up being pretty disappointed. It has a very thick texture, which I prefer for scrubs as it means they won’t be a mess, but the exfoliating particles were very sparse. I don’t think this exfoliated very much, and it leaves behind a pretty weird film on my lips. I ended up having to wipe it off and wash my lips with a cleanser because they felt extremely waxy. I also find that most Bite products taste sweet or fruit-like, but this one tasted very chemical-like. I would not recommend this product as of now, but have not tried the reformulated version. I give it 3/5 stars — it did something, but not what it promised.

I had never bought one of these for myself until I got jealous that I was buying my older sister the limited edition set at Christmas time. 😂 She mentioned her lips were so dry during the winter and I had heard such good things about these lip sleeping masks. I ended up buying the grapefruit one for myself later on and I loved it. The mint choco mask was added to Sephora separate from the limited edition kit and I wanted to try it since I love dessert. To me the scent isn’t as strong as the grapefruit mask, but it’s enough. I recently bought the sweet candy mask during the Sephora sale and I can’t wait to try it! I always use these at night, but if I need it, I will use them during the day too. I don’t wake up with dry or sticky lips like some people experience, mine are juuuuuust right!
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask
Do yourself a favor and get the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask. I’m obsessed. I’m on my third pot in the original berry mix flavor, which is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants. This Korean beauty product uses an exclusive moisture wrap technology that boasts hyaluronic acid and minerals to form a protective film over the lips to lock in moisture. LANEIGE also makes a glowy balm - the perfect size for your purse or pocket

The best LUSH products (from a LUSH devotee)
A few years ago, my sister went vegan and started to use LUSH products because they’re ethically made and don’t test on animals. I think it’s a great stand for a beauty brand to take, but I’d never ventured into their stores until my sister raved about their products. First, it was a lip scrub (which I didn’t even know existed) that was popcorn flavoured. I’ve always suffered with dry lips and often my skin cracks. It’s painful and it’s not a great look, but I found after using their lip scrub my lips were like new. I still apply a lip balm before I go to bed to moisturise them, because you can’t use the lipscrub every day but for me it was a revelation. I like using natural products on my face because I have quite sensitive skin. I grew up in a warm climate but I’d moved to London and realised my skin was drying out in the winter. So, I decided to give the charcoal face and body cleanser a go, and I have never looked back. It can be a bit gluggy sometimes, but you can add water and make it into a paste in your hands before applying. Just be sure to wash it off thoroughly, as there’s been a few occasions where I’ve gotten out of the shower and still had black streaks on my face. I also love the Turkish Delight shower smoothie, which is perfect to use when you’re shaving as it moisturises the skin and makes the razon glide right over it. Whatever Lush product you buy, it always smells great and makes you feel good because it’s a company that’s trying to do somethingnatural good for the world. If you return five empty containers for recycling, you get a free product which is pretty amazing. Plus, they seem to be pretty eco-friendly. So you can buy something good for the planet without having to compromise on quality.
Mint Julips / $10.95 / 0.8 oz This scrub claims to soften up lips and get rid of any dead skin. I’d say its good for all skin types, however it does include fragrance. It has a sugary consistency. I used to really like this scrub and it was a staple for me. I recently purchased it again and I don’t know if I got a dud, or what, but this was reeeeally dry. There is no slip on this scrub so I just end up scratching my lips, which are already suffering if I’m needing to use this! I have to add oil to my lips first and while that’s fine, it just gets really messy and I’d rather use something else that is already prepped for easy use. It’s pretty cheap for the amount of product, but again I don’t really think its worth purchasing anymore. I’d only recommend this if you plan on mixing this with an oil for use!

e.l.f Lip Exfoliator 🖤
The e.l.f. - Lip Exfoliator is a lip exfoliator in a lipstick bullet form used to buff off dead skin from lips for smoother lipstick application. It’s very gritty in texture but it’s lost in the chapstick bullet so it’s hard to get to. I ended up getting this product from target in a clearance holiday set. I decided to try it because I do wear lipstick a lot. That being said this isn’t my favorite nor worth it at all. It’s really hard to use as the grit is unevenly dispersed throughout the product and you don’t really get much of a scrub. I’d much rather reach towards a potted scrub where it’s a lot easier to use the product. I also noticed this hurt a lot more than a normal lip scrub. The granules were way too hard. Even though it’s $4 I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s just not as effective as a potted scrub.
Nice Lip Exfoliator from ELF!
e.l.f. - Lip Exfoliator This sugar-based lip exfoliator-in-a-tube from ELF has really grown on me! I have the one in the rose fragrance. It typically retails for around $4. When I first tried to use it I had a bit of a frustrating time because when the product is brand new the sugar granules are completely covered with a layer of waxy balm. I’d recommend scraping the top of the stick off first. Instead of putting this on directly from the tube, I usually scrape a chunk off with my finger and rub it on my lips, the sugar helps pull away dead skin cells while the thick, waxy balm that binds it together leaves a protective layer and a lovely rose scent! This works as well as any physical lip scrub that I’ve tried (my ideal lip exfoliator is enzyme-based), and is a great price, so I’d recommend this to anyone in the market for a traditional lip scrub.

🌱🍃sephora collection lip scrub 🍃 🌱
my favorite thing about this scrub is it’s smell, This lip scrub smells sooooo good. it smells like mint and menthol, and is sooo soothing to sniff hehe. the way the product is bottled makes it super easy to apply, its kind of like a lipstick. you can just spread it on your lips the way you would apply a lipstick! however, the scrub itself does not do it’s job. it does not exfoliate and smooth lips the way it claims to. The particles of the scrub are way too fine and sparsely distributed in the product to effectively exfoliate! although this product is under $10 and did hydrate my lips, I would not repurchase it since it did not exfoliate my lips the way it claimed to. This did not help remove the dry skin, and barely made my lips softer. I gave it two stars for the pleasant smell 🍃🌱🍃 SEPHORA COLLECTION - Lip Balm & Scrub
A solid lip balm!
SEPHORA COLLECTION - Lip Balm & Scrub What it is: a lip balm with nourishing honey extract. My lip balm flavor is rose. The cost: $7 My thoughts: I am really not amused by this trend of super expensive lip balms (🥂🐘, I’m looking at you), so the $7 price tag is much more my speed. Along with honey extract this lip balm has shea butter and a light rose scent, and it nourished and softened my lips. I didn’t feel the need to constantly reapply when I was using the balm, and I like the thicker balm that covers all of my lips with one swipe. I like rose so this was a winner for me, and I recommend checking out one of the flavor variants that appeal the most to you.

Hate Is A Strong Word
Okay, hear me out on this, Frank Body lovers. Yes, it’s not a bad product, it contains 95% naturally derived ingredients, parabens, phthalates and PEG free, and it contains ground robusta coffee and coffee seed oil. I really, really wanted to love this product as I love Frank Body too, and the team is so lovely over on their Instagram accounts and I loved their frank body - Express-O Scrub Body Polish so I thought why not give this one a go too? frank body - Original Lip Scrub I’ve used this maximum of 4 times and I avoid using this product at all costs, but didn’t want to throw it out as it would be a waste of a product so I’ve used this in emergencies before events etc. But the reason I try to avoid this product is because of how oily and squeaky this leaves my mouth area. You know when you touch something gross and you rub your fingers together and it feels all squeaky? (No? Just me?) Well if you understand the feeling, imagine that feeling on your mouth. It’s horrible and I hate it. I also think it doesn’t exfoliate my lips well, I’ve had better experience with using my toothbrush on my lips. I don’t want to be too harsh about this though, as I love Frank Body and I’ve gotta say that Frank Body does get their scents spot on. This smells delicious like coffee beans! But it’s still unfortunately a two star for me. I’ll be purchasing their frank body - Express-O Scrub Body Polish again though as I fell in love with it and the smell of it. Divine. 😍 Rating: ★★
Frank Body Lip Scrub
frank body - Original Lip Scrub Frank lip scrub This is one of my favorite brands ever! Frank Body is just incredible. This is a lip scrub made with sugar, coffee, beeswax and more to help exfoliate the lips and also help them remain hydrated. This can be used a few times a week and can be wipe off or licked off (according their website) the left over sugar scrub. The coffee seed oil is to help plump up the volume of your lips which I mean we could all use that! Recommend patch testing just to be sure as well. With a scrub, it’s always important to be gentle and rub in a soft circular motion. I have LOVED use this scrub. I think we forget how much our lips actually need exfoliating too. With all those dead skin cells on our skin a we definitely need to give some love to our lips as well. I love coffee like no other so this scrub is even more my favorite because of this. I would say it’s important to be gentle with any scrub like stated before. This scrub is also only $12.95 which is an awesome deal for a good quality lip scrub! We all know the benefits coffee brings to skincare and caffeine in general so this is a great option in my opinion. I only have time or remember to do it once a week but you could do it a few times a week just make sure you don’t over exfoliate! All in all- I would recommend this to anyone in need over hydration for their lips and exfoliating the dead skin away!

My Lip Sleeping Mask Collection
Mamonde Aqua Peel Lip Sleeping Mask This is the most comfortable out of the 4. It is not as sticky and has the lightest consistency. Also, the scent is very faint. I woke up to the smooth and soft lips. What was really surprising is that all the dry, chapped and flakiness completely dissappeared overnight. When I touched my lips and I couldn’t even feel or see any of the dead skin. So, I really believe the AHA in this really did work. Also, the AHA component makes this lip mask a bit different or ‘extra’ compared to the others. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask I feel like I don’t need to say much about this one since it is a cult favourite. But for me, this lip mask provides the most long lasting hydration. When I woke up there is still a light layer left from overnight. Also, this kind of turns into an ‘oil’ like texture and glides on smoothly. So, it feels comfortable and nourishing. Primera Lip Mask Natural Berry Compared to the Laneige version this is more thick and a lot more sticky. It doesn’t glide on as easily so, it’s best to pat it in. I woke up to soft and plump lips. However, there was no product leftover from overnight. So, I tried using this during the day to see how long the product actually last. I found that hydration last about 3-4 hours and the stickiness goes away after an hour. The finish is quite shiny and glossy. Klavuu Nourishing Care Lip Sleeping Mask The consistency is in between the Laneige and Primera. There is a sweet vanilla scent. This one glides on quite smoothly and requires less patting in. Similar to the Primera one, hydration last about half the night and there is no product leftover by morning. Overall, my favourite is the Mamonde Lip Mask and second would be Laneige. However, I find that all 4 are quite similiar to each other and it just comes down to which consistency you prefer and the level of stickiness.
Best Sleeping Mask combo!!
I admit it! I love this sleeping mask.❤ After my nighttime skincare regime, I apply this last and go to bed, then the next morning I have soft and gorgeous hydrated skin that I strive for! Where I live it’s cold and the harsh weather sometimes can take a toll onto my skin making it flaky and dry! I honestly love this sleeping mask because when I apply it there is such a cooling sensation and I wake up knowing my skin is hydrated and happy! This lip sleeping mask gently exfoliates and moisturizes overnight lip mask for soft, kissable lips by morning. I love how my lips is in the morning after once use! This is so far my favourite lip sleeping mask!
Laneige Lip Mask-kbeauty
What is it- An overnight lip mask meant to soothe and moisturize your lips. Though it is for overnight use this may also be used during the day if you don’t mind the thickness. This mask has a pink balm like texture that melts smoothly onto the lips leaving them plumply hydrated. The berry flavor/scent is the original one the brand came out with. I purchased this product almost 2 years ago when it became popular on Instagram and wanted to see what all the hype was about. I don’t regret buying this one bit because it has worked so well for me. This has come through for me unlike any other product I’ve tried to soother my dry lips. It’s especially handy for me during the super cold dry winter months. Since this product was released the brand has branched out to include various different scents/flavors. It is not too overly fragrant which I appreciate. The lip mask retails at $20 for 20g of product.
LANEIGE-Lip Sleeping Mask
💋 lip masks
Somewhat exhausting and busy weekend for me and my boyfriend but despite that, I still managed to squeeze in a quick photo shoot for these lip masks. ⠀⠀ I tried LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry a few years ago and was indifferent to it; it was a heavy lip gloss that stayed on for 2-3 hours, rather than the whole night. So when I learned that innisfree - Green Tea Hydrating Lip Sleeping Mask had a lip mask as well, I knew I had to try it because I love their products. I tried it, I loved it, and now I am back to using @laneige_kr’s. ⠀⠀ At first, Innisfree’s was great; it stayed on longer than Laneige’s which was what I wanted and it came in Green Tea! Then as I slowly got closer to the bottom of the container, it started feeling gritty and I no longer enjoy using it. I prefer something smooth, which is what Laneige offers—so I made a repurchase of the Lip Mask in Mint Chocolate! 💕 ⠀⠀ Have you tried these lip masks? Which one do you prefer? ⠀⠀ *mini lip mask was gifted in a giveaway

Is the LANEIGE lip mask worth $26?✨
LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask The Laneige lip mask is an excellent product. It delivers hydration quickly and leaves your lips feeling soft and smooth. I received the Laneige lip mask as a gift and thought it was a great product! That is until I finished the product and tried to restock... The lip mask is priced at $26 for a 20g bottle (literally more than a dollar per gram). Despite the great ingredients and superb results, I was not willing to purchase the product myself due to its price point. ————————————— Results Overall, it delivers great results in a short period of time and a little product goes a long way. Personally though, I would not purchase this product due to its price. I believe it is overpriced and that I can find a lip mask offered by another brand that delivers the same results. ————————————— Recommend 70% I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who does not have a budget. It is a phenomenal lip mask with great ingredients that deliver the best results however, it remains at the pricey end of the scale.
LANEIGE-Lip Sleeping Mask
Nooo Ma’aaaaaam!! Not this Lip Mask! 😑
I’d rather get coal than BITE - Agave Lip Mask . This is a lip mask for dry lips. But literally this is the worst lip mask that you can find, the consistency is too thick and it just sits on top of your lips without moisturizing. I do not like it at all, with this cold temperatures is not doing it job at all. Is it not worth the 28 dollars I paid. Please do yourself a favor and stay honey!!! 😠
BITE-Agave Lip Mask
The Single Best Winter Lip Rescue- Bite Lip Mask
I stumbled into this product last winter when I was searching for a modicum of relief for my dry, painful, dehydrated lips after commuting back and forth in NYC every day. I truly thought nothing could provide me the deep reparative treatment I needed, as most lip balms wiped away with a sip of coffee or dried out into a sticky film after 30 minutes like most other lip balms do. However, one tiny dot of this Agave Lip Mask by Bite repaired even my deepest dry spots immediately (not exaggerating, upon contact). I break this out at night before bed and before I go anywhere outside in the winter. It smells subtly like sugar in a non-sickeningly sweet, but generally pleasant way, and applies almost like a viscous and thick honey...or molasses. The color of this flavor, Crushed, is such a flattering pinkish red that I feel the freedom to completely forego a separate lip color on top, and it still looks natural! My only ONLY negative is the terrible awful crumbly packaging, which is way too weak for this thick-ass lip goo. The lettering wears off very easily (as you can clearly see) and the seam towards the bottom sometimes leaks, but the quality and quantity of lip mask inside is so generous and life-saving that I would still buy it if I had to scoop it up with my bare hands. BITE - Agave Lip Mask
BITE-Agave Lip Mask
Bite Agave Lip Mask
I’d rather get coal than the BITE - Agave Lip Mask . This lip balm is supposed to promote healing and smoothing of the lips while providing a bit of a tint. The formula includes agave nectar, jojoba oil, trans-resveratrol, and lanolin. The texture is super thick when compared to other squeeze tube lip balms such as Carmex. I had the worst experience with this one. When I applied it to my lips, I got very nauseous. Whether it was the smell or the consistency or a mixture of the two I’m not exactly sure. I give it a couple of stars because it really does moisturize and heal the lips but it’s just not worth having that thick, gloopy, smelly balm on your lips all night/day. This balm was $28 and I wish I had returned it when I had the chance. It wasn’t worth that much money.
