Face Mask for Sensitive Skin 🧖🏻‍♀️
It’s sometimes hard to find face mask that are dedicated to sensitive skin. Most masks I’ve come across, are formulated to combat acne & exfoliation. This is why I was super excited to try out the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Oatmeal Mask ! This mask is formulated with Colloidal Oatmeal and Avena Sativa Oat Bran with Botanical Antioxidants, all aimed at repairing and reviving your skin. After thoroughly washing my skin, I apply this onto my face and leave on for 10 mins. The consistency is creamy, thick, and has little oatmeal fragments in it. It is unscented, but because of the oatmeal and vanilla extract, there is a slightly “sweet” scent it gives off. After removing the mask, I follow up with my The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% or The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 , and then the HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil to help soothe any other irritation. This mask retails for about $25, which is fairly reasonable for a well-formulated and effective product. I have yet to find a mask that works the way this does, so for now, there is no other product I can truly compare this to. However, this will continue being a staple in my skin cabinet. Whats your favorite mask for sensitive skin? Would love to know your suggestions xoxo #CheriePartner

New Skincare Journey- Tips welcomes
Hi everyone, I am so excited to start this new journey. The pictures I uploaded is a depiction of my current skin. Following doing the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, patting dry and then applying the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skinand Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil. I suffer for hormonal acne (not that bad) and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I have had these issues since middle school, with periods of clear skin. I have done some research and this is what I am going to start are my skincare routine starting tomorrow. Am Routine I am going to start my routine off with the essano - Rosehip Gentle Facial Cleansing Micellar Water. Then I will use the Aveeno - MaxGlow Infusion Drops, followed by the Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment. Then the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skinand my favorite Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 . This the only daily sunscreen that I have used and I love how soft and bright ir leaves my skin. I was having trouble finding a face oil, but the Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oilreceived a lot of good reviews from people with similar experiences so I thought it would be a good product to try. Pm Routine I am going to start my routine off with the essano - Rosehip Gentle Facial Cleansing Micellar Water again. Then I will use the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, followed by the Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment. Then the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skinand Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil. On Sundays (my first day) At night, I will continue to wash my face with warm water, beforing patting dry and applying The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. This is my third time using this product, I only use it once a week. The last two times I apply a niamincide-based moisturizer afterward and I think it caused my skin to break out. I do see my blemishes lightening with this product, so I will continue to use it for 10 minutes once a week. After I rinse and pat dry, I will apply the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin. After my first use, I do feel my skin to feel more elastic and moisturized, but the smell is a bit unappealing. Following with the Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil, I currently have no comments on this product. I am open to any assistance or concerns. I look forward to journaling this journey ❤️

Are you looking for anti-oxidant serums? Give them a try!👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
Skin type: Normal, combination-dry, not sensitive, have acne issues occasionally. Age:23 Pursuit: lighting, anti-aging, stability   For pre-mature skin, antioxidant essence is as important as sunscreen among anti-aging products. Antioxidant products are products that need to be used for a long time before the effects can be felt, and their effects vary from person to person. Take a look at what anti-oxidant products I like to use at 23. NO.1sesderma - C VIT Liposomal Serum Price: 30ml, $56 This is an antioxidant serum for young skin during summertime (or for oil skin all year). The texture it's very light and I usually use three pumps at a time, applying it all over my face and neck. It has no pungent smell and is very soothing to use. After using it for a while, my skin became noticeably smoother and more stable, with fewer breakouts. When I wake up in the morning, my face would be soft and looking great. Among the initial anti-aging, antioxidant serum, this one is very cost-effective considering its price. Recommended for young skin!   NO.2 ESTĒE LAUDER - Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II Price: 100ml, $103 This is probably the most famous product in the antioxidant elite category. The texture is very light with herbal smell. I've used this serum since I was 19, I didn't notice its antioxidant function at that time. For young skin, it's just hydrating. But now that I'm 23, I came to feel its restorative function, and its anti-yellowing function. With long-term using experience, my skin had become stable with a slight brightening effect, the discoloration will be significantly reduced. Among the high-end antioxidant serums, it’s irreplaceable. Recommended for pre-mature skin! NO.3 Aesop - Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum Price: 100ml, $75 This one is AESOP's star product. The texture is relatively thick, there is a light plant smell in it, its ingredients do not contain water and oil. It is mainly targeting for moisture, antioxidant and anti-yellow functions. Generally, I can use one dropper at a time. In summer, it is a little too thick for me and not easy to absorb. It is more suitable for use in winter when my skin is quite dry. Recommended for dry skin!

Weapons for night owls🦉
1. YVES SAINT LAURENT - Pure Shots Night Reboot Resurfacing Serum I absolutely love the satin feel that this product leaves on my skin. I am usually skeptic about tryin new skin care products as my face tends to react real quick, however, the YSL serums felt light and feathery my skin. Plus they left my skin feeling super soft. I used it every other night before bed. I noticed my skin was brighter in the morning, and I also noticed it helped tighten my pores as well. I have sensitive skin and I was happily surprised to not breakout at all. The only downside I found is that is didn’t spread easily on your skin. A little didn’t go a long way. I ended up mixing it with a moisturizer to blend easier. I would consider purchasing these for regular use. It contains three highlighted ingredients: - Glycolic Acid: Exfoliates for improved skin radiance and visible clarity, revealing a youthful-looking glow by the next morning. - Proprietary Blend of Argan and Seed Oil: Helps soothe and even the appearance of skin texture after exfoliation for a nurtured, healthy complexion. - Moonlight Cactus Flower: Helps smooth and make skin appear luminous. In a word, i highly recommend it for Normal, Combination, and Oily skin. 2.ESTĒE LAUDER - Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II I think this is an irreplaceable product, maybe you won't feel the change of skin instantly, but after using it for a period of time, you will find that you really can't do without it! I don’t know who I thought I was when I bought this serum. There’s so much hype surrounding it that I found myself at the end of the month with a full bank account, looking at the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II in one hand and my poor credit card in the other, and pulled the plug. Do I regret spending 230$ on this product? Let’s find out. Any good hydrating product is going to reduce the look of your lines and wrinkles because hydration will plump up your skin. My fine lines (I don’t have wrinkles yet) did look more reduced, but not to a significant level: Keep in mind that I purchased the biggest size of this product and used it consistently for months on end. The serum is almost finished, and I can confidently say that it does not play any significant role when it comes to diminishing the signs of aging. My mother has also used this serum on and off over the years and when she saw that I was using it, she asked me if I had noticed any results because she did not experience anything major other than good hydration when using it. Now, for the final verdict: would I recommend this product? Look, it’s a good product, there’s no questions regarding that, but there are a lot of good products on the market (some even better), that cost a fraction of the price. Why would you spend so much money on something that you could find at a cheaper price? Even if money is no issue, it still isn’t logical. At the end of the day, buying this serum doesn’t make sense to me, but if it does to you, knock yourself out, just don’t have extremely high expectations, and incorporate something directly targeted for anti-aging, if that’s the kind of skincare routine you want to build.

My TOP 2 Must Have at Sephora💖💖
I have standard combination skin, my cheeks are dry but my T-zone is very oily and the situation keeps in all the four seasons. As autumn is approaching, I suffer from the severe dryness on my cheeks, dullness and fine lines also make the situation worse.  However, I have my solutions in Sephora. Today I want to share my TOP 2 Must Have at Sephora to combat my recent major skin concern. And here they are. TOP1 DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream This moisturizer is the must have in my Sephora purchasing list. It’s totally my super love. This moisturizer cost $68 for 50 mL, a little expensive but really worth the price. The light white formulation is fragrance free. It’s very easy to blend and could be absorbed by skin rapidly and easily. The most attractive point of this moisturizer is that it has peptide complex, nine signal peptides bind moisture to skin, give visibly plumping, firming and bounce to the skin. I could always feel the softness after using the moisturizer and it did add enough hydration to my skin. I rate this moisturizer 5 stars. Highly recommended. TOP2 DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum I use this light weight serum as lotion after toner, as the formulation is watery. It only cost $48 for 50 mL, the price to performance ratio is rather high. The much highlighted ingredients in this serum is pineapple ceramide, which could help boost luminosity and improve the appearance of skin texture, as well as provitamin B5, attracting hydration to the skin and visibly improving skin barrier. I feel it adds elasticity to my skin and the dullness improves. If you’re looking for a serum aiming at hydration and dullness, just give it a try! I rate it 4.5 stars. I think this two products would perform better if used together. Do not forget sephora provides free shipping with order of more than $50. Black Friday is coming and I’m sure there will be some amazing discounts, why not wait and see?

How I Saved My Skin
I never had acne until I graduated high school and it was caused from a chemical burn that I got from some of the products that I have been using for years. After changing my routine several times I finally found some thing that not only keeps my acne away but helps clear any scarring or dark spots that I have as a result of it. I love every single one of these products, they are all affordable and actually work. I have sensitive skin and eczema around my eye and mouth area. My skins never felt better

My Emergency Skincare Routine⁉️
I use this skincare routine when my face has been breaking out so badly that my normal skincare routine won’t help as much. I usually only use this maybe once or twice a week or as needed. It really does clear up my skin pretty fast. First I start with THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser , and I put it on my face then I use the #HOMMIESAFE - Silicone Body + Face Brush[products]#[FiveStars] to lightly exfoliate my skin and allow the cleanser to do it’s job better. Then rinse. After that I dry off my face and go in with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% , sometimes I put it on my whole face but if my skin isn’t horrible then I put it in the spots that has bad acne. Finally I go in with íUNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream , this helps reduce the redness on my face and doesn’t make my breakouts worse. My only issue is the way it makes my skin look and feel sticky. Here’s where I got these products: THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser ~ Sephora for $10 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% ~ ULTA for $6 íUNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream ~ yesstyle.com for $10 but after tax/shipping I ended up paying $17 #HOMMIESAFE - Silicone Body + Face Brush[products]#[FiveStars] ~ Amazon for $6 and it came with a small face brush and a larger body brush

September Empties!
Hi Gems! We are now in the full swing of October so it’s time to review what I emptied in September! DevaCurl - One Condition Decadence for Super Curly Hair This conditioner was good for my damaged curls! It provided enough hydration, but I didn’t love how it felt going into my hair. I loved the subtle scent of and the bright packaging! Although this conditioner is great, it is pricy especially when I use so much of it! I have since moved on to trying another curly girl conditioner that I will review soon! JERGENS - Natural Glow Instant Sun Mousse This has been my go to drugstore self tanner for a while now! I never have any issues with it streaking when combined with my tanning mitt and it fades well. The smell is pretty bad and it can be very sticky, so I only leave it on for around 5-6 hours and use baby powder to combat stickiness! The color is great and not too orange! ogx - Renewing Argan Oil Of Morocco Weightless Healing Dry Oil I love this hair oil! It smells amazing AND tackles my frizzy curls like a champ! It is truly weightless and never leaves my hair feeling oily or weighed down! If you have trouble with frizz or just want your hair to look healthy this is definitely for you! I will be repurchasing! Fruit of the Earth - Aloe Vera 100% Gel Every girl needs a trust worthy aloe vera gel in her beauty line up and this is a fantastic one! This gel doesn’t have any added color which is why I like it! I use this on my face and my hair! For my face, it helps to hydrate and heal imperfections. I use it in my hair to help hydrate and lock my curl pattern making it a staple in my hair care routine! Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrating Cleansing Gel I have been using this cleanser for months and it has never failed me! It foams wonderfully and has a minimal fragrance! It is reasonably priced and never makes my skin feel striped, which is always a concern with cleansing. The Hydro Boost line is one of my favorites but I am a huge fan of trying new things though, so I am testing out a different cleanser this month! DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I got this in a trial size to test it out because they’re products are so expensive! The packaging is adorable, but it’s what’s inside that counts! I honestly didn’t see a huge difference in my complexion and overall it didn’t wow me. LOVE beauty AND planet - Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Radical Refresher Body Wash This body wash smells HEAVENLY and the packaging is adorable! However, it doesn’t leave me feeling as hydrated as I should or as other washes have! TRADER JOE'S - Nourish Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum This serum was great and inexpensive! It always leaves my face feeling super hydrated and supple! It lasted me a long time which made my really happy!

My Favorite Serums 🌸
I have sensitive combo skin that is acne-prone and these are my favorite skincare serums! A lot of my serums are focused in helping with acne and its aftermath and these are the best I’ve found. ✨Antioxidant Pore Purifier by Paula’s Choice $31 for 1oz This serum has salicylic acid in it and white tea. It is meant to unclog pores and help with airborne pollutants. It’s a light fluid that is the tiniest bit sticky on skin before adding a moisturizer. Before finding this, I was dealing with a lot of really intense cystic acne. After using for about two months, I eased up on this product and noticed my breakouts got worse which is when I realized what an effect this was having for my skin. I eventually did ease out of regular use and my skin has been behaving but if it does get bad again, I’m definitely repurchasing this product. ✨Very Cherry Bright by Farmacy $62 for 1oz This is a lightweight Vitamin C serum by Farmacy made with four forms of Vitamin C, the most obvious being from the Acerola Cherry extracts which make this smell so good! This serum is gorgeous. It’s lightweight and effective. This is a clean brand and comes in packaging that is meant to reduce oxidation which makes Vitamin C serums less effective. I find this helps with red spots, scarring, brightening and fighting free radicals. My biggest issue is the price but this brand does regular sales which helps. I’m about to try the Naturium Vitamin C Complex so we will see how that compares given the lower price point. Stay tuned! I’m also liking the Naturium Niacinamide one a lot. ✨Great Barrier Relief by Krave $28 for 1.52 fl oz This is a moisture barrier saving serum by Krave which I fall more and more in love with each use. It has Tamanu Oil, Safflower Oil, Rosehip Oil, Vitamin B3 and Ceramide for for skin regeneration, hyperpigmentation, anti-aging, brightening, acne-fighting and generally repairing a damaged skin barrier. This serum is turning into an all time favorite. I actually use this after a lighter Vitamin C serum on my mask area and it’s been helping to prevent breakouts from mask wearing. This product mimics your skin’s moisture barrier so it’s great for skin that needs help from too many actives, sunburn, etc. ✨Honeymoon Glow by Farmacy $58 for 1 oz This is an nighttime resurfacing serum that for me gets rid of breakouts and leaves me glowing the next morning. It has AHA, flower acids and honey in it. It tingles a bit when first applied but that quickly stops. I couldn’t go without this one and have a back-up. I like to use acids like this with a stronger nightly moisturizer like Healing Ointment by CeraVe! I use this maybe twice a week at most. 🌸What serums are you loving? PAULA'S CHOICE - Antioxidant Pore Purifier FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry Krave - Great Barrier Relief FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum #CheriePartner

Favourite acne scarring fading products?
2 years ago I had successes with COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% to fade mild acne scarring. More recently this year I had a bad breakout (see my profile for pictures) which left me with a lot of scarring, more than I’ve ever had in my life 🥺 so now I’m looking for something a bit stronger. I have tried PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist C15 Super Booster before my breakout, but I believe this was one of the causes of my breakouts so I’m hesitant to try this again, at least until my skin barrier is fuller recovered. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% works well with my skin but I feel results are slow. Maybe I’m impatient 😅 I have not tried Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Treatment Essence, DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serumor SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C and Turmeric Face Oil yet due to the nature and stability of vitamin C, I’d like to try 1 product at a time. Have you tried these products? Let me know what results you’ve gotten with these products! Or feel free to share any products not listed here that worked for your skin!

FIRST POST/ONE WEEK RESULTS ✨
Hi there! I’m so excited to share my skincare journey with all of you and hopefully we can learn from each other’s experiences. I’ve already learned a lot from Cherie and that’s why I decided to purchase some products from The Ordinary and give them a try to save my skin. I have oily skin and as you can see I’m struggling with acne, dark spots, and dark circles. Not sure what type of acne I have, but it seems hormonal to me. I started to break out like this about two months ago. Before that, I’d break out once in a while during my period or when eating too much junk food. A week ago (Oct. 10th), I started the following skincare routine: AM - Cleanse Cetaphil - Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser - Treat The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG (I think I had a reaction to caffeine solution - my right eye started itching so I discontinued it from now) - Moisturize CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 PM - Remove makeup CeraVe - Makeup Removing Cleanser Cloths - Cleanse Cetaphil - Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser - Treat The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - Moisturize CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Please swipe to see the results so far! I’m really happy with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% since it’s clearing out the acne. My face feels and looks better and I think there’s a small improvement. I’d love to hear your advice and suggestions! Also, I’d like to implement The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solutionand The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutionto my skincare routine. Any suggestions on how/when to use them? Thank you in advance!

Skin Update!
Hey guys, I thought that I’d give a quick skin update! Overall my skin has really improved it’s a little brighter and healthier, I am getting some small spots but I’m not really expecting perfection. I’ve started using some new products: Swisse - Olive Leaf Deep Cleansing Gel - this a very effective and gentle cleanser for oily skin - it keeps my skin reasonably clear and doesn’t leave it feeling strip or dry, which I’m definitely happy about - I think the small bumps are because of of the glycolic and salicylic acid drawing the nasties out! ALAFFIA - Coconut Face Toner - hydration, hydration, hydration 💦 - leaves my skin glowing The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - light weight moisturiser that doesn’t leave the skin greasy - actually leaves the skin super soft - I don’t like that it leaves like white buts on my face 🥴 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - this is golden, literally pulled the blemishes out of my skin - controls oil so that I’m glowing and not shinning - gonna so I solo post on it cause chiiillllldddd!!! Thanks for reading my loves!!

Hey Lovelies!!
First post here!! I’ve dedicated my past few months to researching products that best fit my skin type (and we’re definitely not breaking the bank) and figured it was time to share some of my favorite products with you! Here we go!! (Note: I have pretty normal skin but it tends to run on a more dry side so dry combination skin type is the kind of skin these items seem to work on) ✨1. I start off with the Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser and wash my face thoroughly so that I have a clean base to start off with. This wash has salicylic acid in it to help with breakouts and even out your skin, a very powerful combo when paired with glycolic acid ;)) ✨2. I then go in with the The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I put about the size of a nickel of this amazing toner on a cotton pad at cleanse my whole face over. It pairs amazing with the salicylic acid that is inside of the Aveeno face wash I initially go in with. When they work together the AHA removes the clogging skin cells and the BHA (salicylic acid) is able to cleanse your pores properly. I love this toner because while it is strong it gets the job done. The only issue with it is that you have to be careful with which acids you decide to pair it with and it is a toner you should not use more than 2-3 times a week due to how strong and effective it is. You wouldn’t want it to over purge your skin. ✨3. After I finish toning I do go in with the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum I LOVE this product. It’s main goal is to minimize pores and refine your texture. It does exactly that and carries out an abundance of other amazing things too like covering pigmentation and reducing redness. As long as you incorporate this properly into your routine and are careful with the acids you use it with, everything goes on lightweight and leaves you feeling refreshed. Although in some cases, depending on your skin type, it could leave you looking flushed or adding redness to your skin if you don’t research your acids properly. In my routine, this was a lifesaver and completely transformed my skin texture and left my nose area almost pore-less. ✨4. The most IMPORTANT step in my opinion. Moisturizing. I use the CLINIQUE - Smart Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Custom-Repair Moisturizer for Dry Combination Skin This is my go-to nighttime moisturizer. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and like all moisture and products are locked in. When using products like mentioned above moisturizer is the key component to success. I love this moisturizer because it targets key areas where your skin might need a little pick me up and is there when you need it. It is oil free and super lightweight. Overall, one of my favorite moisturizers ever. Clinique hardly misses :) ! (Final note: make sure to do your research before decided to mix any acids or products together and ensure that you aren’t allergic to anything!)

NIACINAMIDE explained! $6 serums worth trying!
Try these $6 serums to reap the many benefits of niacinamide! Hey everyone! I’m sure you’ve heard and seen so much about 𝙉𝙄𝘼𝘾𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙈𝙄𝘿𝙀 lately. It seems like every new skincare product has it and the niacinamide serums are selling like crazy. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐞? Niacinamide is a form of Vitamin B3. It’s the latest trend in skincare, but has been used in skincare for a very long time. It has many benefits from helping acne, repairing skin, smoothing fine lines.. the list goes on. You can find it as it’s own serum or as a main ingredient along with other powerhouse ingredients. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 locks in moisture; helps build a lipid barrier. prevents environmental damage + protects from environmental stressors and pollution. minimizes pores reduces inflammation; helps redness w/ acne and eczema. regulates oil production. rebuilds skin cells protects against sun damage & skin cancer. ( you still need SPF) helps hyperpigmentation (not to a vitamin c extent, but can help lighten spots a bit) minimizes fine lines and wrinkles *yes plz* helps acne! Overtime a decrease in breakouts. 𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣 2 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙨. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣: I have incorporated Niacinamide into my skincare routine for the last 3 months and I have noticed + a decrease in breakouts. + less oily skin + huge change in my pores, way less visible around my nose and cheeks. + less eczema than usual for this time of the year for me. 𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙩? For the most part, yes... Some people do have a sensitivity to niacinamide and can break out from it. If you start to break out different than your normal while using it, I suggest taking it out of your routine to see if it is not a match for your skin. 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙉𝙞𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙪𝙢𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙧𝙮: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Since I’ve switched to this “holy grail” my skin has drastically improved. It also includes Zinc which helps with acne as well. $5.90 a price that is TOO good. Sold at Ulta and Sephora. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum Another great serum! I’ve used this one before and it works almost just as well as the ordinary. It is also %10 niacinamide. The brand also has an amazing niacinamide toner! $6 online at good molecules. Both of these serums are 10% niacinamide. Studies have shown that 2-5% works very effectively so you don’t need such a high percentage. #cheriepartner #cheriecreator

Provence Beauty Kale + Niacinamide Facial Serum
Provence Beauty Kale + Niacinamide Facial Serum
I purchased this at Marshall’s for $5.99, because I was out of my usual Niacinamide and it was sold out online. The price was appealing and the addition of Kale seemed gimmicky but I grabbed it anyways. I’ve been using it consistently for about six weeks or so, and it fit right in as a replacement for my usual niacinamide serum. This does what it says on the bottle “hydrates and soothes dry skin”, in addition to improving overall skin texture. The texture of the serum is more watery than I am used to in a serum, green in color and has a slight smell but it is not unpleasant. It leaves your face slightly sticky but not in an uncomfortable way. I would recommend this product because it works and the price is great but I am only giving it 3 stars because I have never seen it in a store after running into it that one time at Marshall’s.

Breaking The Myth: Glycolic Acid & Retinoids
Breaking The Myth: Glycolic Acid & Retinoids
So there’s a thing going around that you shouldn’t mix glycolic acid (AHA) with Retinol (retinoids). ✨ (I will post links to medical studies done and their proven results) ✨ I will say that I have experimented with this for a few weeks and my skin has cleared up tremendously! I just incorporated the glycolic acid but my skin has been fine. I DO NOT have: Sensitive skin Allergies ACTIVE OPEN BREAKOUTS (few minor bumps here and there) Dry Skin (I’m more combo) ”Active New Skin” (I have been using Differin Gel for 3 months Glycolic acid for 2 weeks. My skin is adjusted to actives) If you have any of those this might cause you irritation. 🚨I use this once-twice a week to treat small hyperpigmentation issues and texture irregularities.🚨 Why do professionals not recommend them together? Many professionals see that people experience irritation, sensitivity, and other issues. There’s also a concern that the PH level of glycolic acid will disrupt retinol. This research is outdated and done in a Petri dish NOT skin. There is room for irritation, which you would still experience.. using them separately! I also would not recommend if you suffer from any other issues as stated above, or to introduce everything slowly! My routine: Cleanser philosophy - Nature In A Jar Gentle Detoxifying Cleanser With Agave Amazing gentle cleanser that helps prevent inflammation. (I also recommend CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser) Tone The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Can be drying, I recommend using a hydrating cleanser. Serum: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🚨Skip this is you’re new to this routine🚨 Treat: SKINCEUTICALS - A.G.E. Eye Complex for Dark Circles HG for dark circles! DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel HG FOR ANY ACNE ! Moisturize: nooni - Applebutter Lip Mask Leaves my lips very smooth CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Very gentle and great for this routine Cliganic - 100% Rosehip Oil I love to mix this in as a extra layer of Vitamin A and to keep my acne at bay. I only add 2 drops to my moisturizer. Links for research: Chandrashekar, B., Ashwini, K., Vasanth, V. & Navale, S. My Usual Go-To Makeup Look
My Usual Go-To Makeup Look
*ignore the fact that my eyebrows are a little out of control at the moment, I’m working on growing them out and fixing the patchyness so I can go get them waxed* First I start by mixing The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and Neutrogena - SkinClearing Oil-Free Liquid Foundation , I’m not exactly sure all what it does but it makes my face look smoother. Then I apply it to my face using REAL TECHNIQUES - REAL TECHNIQUES Foundation Blender . I then go on to my eyeshadow. I use the color called top from JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Orgy Eyeshadow Palette . I take the MORPHE - Morphe X Jeffree Star JS6 Rule Blender Brush and apply that eyeshadow to my eyelid. Then I use the shimmer bronzer from #Ulta Beauty - Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighter Palette[products]#[FiveStars] to put some shimmer on the corner of my eye because I didn’t have the right glitter eyeshadow for this. After that I use ULTA BEAUTY - Waterproof Amped Lashes Mascara for my eyelashes. I take the BLOSSOM - Tropicali Flavored Roll-on Lip Gloss and put that on my lips, then I blot that with some tissue and apply some Red Dahlia BURT’S BEES - Tinted Lip Balm . I do it this way so that my lips are well moisturized when I put the tinted lip balm on and it doesn’t look dry. Then after all that I take my MORPHE - MORPHE X Jeffree Star JS7 Double Trouble Brush to brush out my eyebrows. And that’s all. It’s simple and doesn’t have too many steps. I’m not at all good at makeup. I’m just a beginner but I feel that this looks good on me. In my opinion this is a pretty good natural/minimal look. I’m always open to feedback because I am still learning.

AM ROUTINE-newbie edition✨
So these are the products I’ve been using for over a month now for my skin in the morning!! I start with the Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser love how gentle and easy this wash is. Never leaves my skin dry or tight and feels like the perfect step one. Then I move on to the THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent (the rose petal). I have never used a toner before and since I’m scared of drying out my skin I went with this easier option and I love it, the smell is super soft and I do believe its helping out with my pesky pores. Once thats dry I apply my serums: The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 & ELEMIS - Absolute Eye Serum I got these both as gifts and for now I’m giving them a 4. The Ordinary’s serum is fine but its just that I dont think it add much to my skin and it is a little sticky - and as for elemis my biggest concern is dark circles and this just doesn’t cut it. But I’ll continue to use both until they’re empty! Then I top off with The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (also a gift) a little goes a long way with this one, but I think it flakes a bit after it dries which I dislike. Finally, theres the #Palmers - Coconut Water Facial Mist[products]#[FiveStars] I bought this cause I needed a mist in my routine and found this to be pretty simple and natural, love the smell and how it has vitamin e which is why I use at the end. It can also be used on hair which I love multipurpose products! And theDOCTOR ROGERS RESTORE - Healing Balm its amazing on my lips but once its gone my lips are pretty much dry again, also the sticky consistency doesn’t feel great other dry skin areas they recommend. So let me know what you all think! If you have any suggestions/tips please send my way. Currently looking into incorporating vitamin C as well as finding new eye/lip products!
