Hello, hello! Today I finally finished my Retinol from Shani Darden which is a plus for my skin, but pain from my pockets haha. Though both of these products are a bit pricey, they are worth the investment. I had the HERBIVORE - Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil For Oily & Acne-Prone Skin for a long time almost a year, and I would use daily. The retinolSHANI DARDEN SKIN CARE - Retinol Reform lasted me about a good 3 months, keep in mind I only used it on my affects areas(sides of my face).

Award WINNING facial oil! Must have!
Did you know Lapis Oil won a 2020 Glamour Readers’ Choice Beauty Award for best natural skincare product? PRODUCT: Lapis oil is a hydrating facial oil that deeply hydrates the skin while improving blemishes and redness. ✨This quick-absorbing formula is made with 100% natural and pure plant oils. It contains vitamins, fatty acids, and antioxidants which form a natural lipid barrier to lock in essential nourishment. ✨This oil holds a chemical component called Chamazulene, which comes from the Blue Tansy plant. That’s where the color comes from! MY THOUGHTS: If I had to pick just ONE skincare product, it would be this beauty. This is my second bottle and it has become an absolute staple in my skincare routine. I started using this oil about a year ago and it has completely changed my skin! It mainly targets blemishes and redness while still hydrating from deep within. It has the perfect texture, not too watery and not too thick. I absolutely love how it has transformed my skin and how well it controls any blemishes I might have. My skin feels so smooth and healthy every time I use it and it really helps lock in hydration. I also love that a little bit goes a LONG way with this oil, I only need about 4-5 drops to cover my entire face and neck. This oil really deserves all the hype it gets, highly recommend! SIDE NOTE: •This product is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and noncomedogenic.🌱🐰

Facial Oil for Oily, Acne-Prone Skin
I was not a facial oil person when I first started to really invest in my skin. I knew that just because I had oily skin didn't mean I should skip the moisturizer (everyone should be moisturizing!) but I couldn't find an oil that worked really well for me and made me want to keep using it. I don't think that oil and moisturizer are interchangeable, I think both have a place in your skincare routine! I tried the The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil and could just feel it sitting on the top layer of my skin. I tried the DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil which was expensive and didn't do much for me. I was over it! Finally while making my first May Lindstrom purchase of the Honey Mud and Problem Solver masks I chose to try a sample of the may lindstrom skin - The Youth Dew and it was magical. The brand calls it a serum, but it's the most indulgent facial oil I've tried. It's expensive at $140 but the bottle lasted me an entire year of consistent use and always felt like a treat for my skin. So what's in it? Well all the good stuff! Antioxidants, coenzyme-Q10, avocado oil, meadowfoam seed oil, borage oil, rosehip oil, evening primrose oil, jojoba oil - the list goes on and on. It's a thick, orange oil that smells botanical and beautiful. It's for acne-prone skin and helps to balance, but even those with dry skin would love this! It sinks deeply into the skin and really just makes my skin so happy and healthy! I love it and need to repurchase, but it's also made me way more open to trying other facial oils! Now I look for oils with similar ingredients and have found some other favorites - like the deviant - Facial Oil ! I apply Youth Dew at either my serum step or as my last step before SPF. If I apply it as a serum I use other hydrating mists and serums before to be sure my skin gets hydration! #CheriePartner

Don’t pay for pretty packaging 😩
A lot of the time, if you see a product in cute packaging from a certain brand, especially a popular one, there’s a good chance you can find something similar (a dupe) or in some cases, THE SAME EXACT product from another brand. Take DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil for example, we love the bright colors and yes they do have some really great products but you can get an exact match of this! The Ordinary - 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil is the same thing. 100% ingredient match and many reviews say that The Ordinary’s Marula oil is a bit thinner and that actually makes it easier to absorb and spread. It just doesn’t make sense in some cases to pay for something in a pretty package that winds up in the trash anyway. Search the app for dupes and in cases where the product is a single ingredient, like this one, make sure to look for other brands because you can almost guarantee you’ll find it cheaper!! Luckily we have Cherie to help us educate ourselves to find the information we need to find all the dupes and tips and tricks! 🍒🍒

My skincare journey : the first two pic are now - the last two before I started .🙊☹️🥺 🥺 I started my routine with the Ordinary on August ... My skin is sensitive , I’m acne prone, I have acne scars , hyperpigmentation from my pregnancy , couple fine lines ,dryness and oily (combination type lol my skin has a mind of her own ) I also have big pores ☹️ I tried so many products before and some of them work for a while but stop working right after . Glad to say so far that this 5 products has being giving me back a bit of confidence and I also still working on it . I hope this help more of you . The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA is great for fade dark spots . The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% i use it on my whole face to target my oiliness . But you have to conviene this first two products with regular exfoliation and sunscreen . The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil is great for brighten and hydrate skin . The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG amazing for puffy eyes ! Love it ! The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion this product is just perfect for fine lines and wrinkles ! 💗💗

SERUMS VS OILS ?! WHATS THE DIFFERENCE ?!
I’ve seen this mistake made in many routines, including my own! When first getting into skincare, and experimenting with all sorts of new goodies it can be tough sometimes to understand a products function and what order to apply each product. It took me forever to figure out how to incorporate oils into my routine without just making myself look like a greasy monster 🙄 So I wanted to bring it back to basics and talk about the difference between facial serums and facial oils ✨ SERUMS: ✨ These are a treatment step, serums contain up to 70% active ingredients making them highly potent and results oriented. ✨Serums are made up of small molecules that are able to penetrate and deposit powerful actives into the deeper layers of the skin. ✨Serums can have moisturizing ingredients, but aren’t considered moisturizers in the traditional sense. You need to follow a serum with a moisturizer to create a barrier on top and keep all the good stuff in. ✨You should always use serums before moisturizer and never as a replacement FACIAL OILS: ✨Are best suited as a hydration step, the molecules are much larger meaning they are only serving the outermost layers of the skin. ✨Oils provide a boost of nutrition and hydration, they help nourish and strengthen the skin barrier. ✨Oils should be applied after serums and moisturizer, and can actually be used to replace your moisturizer. ✨ You only need about 2-3 drops of oil to cover your face without leaving a greasy film. A couple of my favourite are: SERUMS: ONE LOVE ORGANICS - Botanical C Facial Serum The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum OILS:HERBIVORE - Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil

🌿BETTER TOGETHER🌿
Okay, so I saw this hack on @GlowK‘s page and had to try it! And honestly I’m hooked. Originally when I tried these product I thought they were alrighhhhht, but I wasn’t totally sold. I found the cleanser a little bit drying, and I’ve been having trouble fitting face oils into my routine... until now! 🤩 It’s as easy as putting about a nickle size of cleanser in your hand and 4 or 5 drops of the superberry face oil. I like to mix it up in my palm then apply to a damp face for about 60-90 seconds, ideally enough time to let both these products work their magic ✨ ✨This combo gives me the hydration I need, especially with the seasons changing 🍃🍂🍁 ✨The smell of the combo heavenly, mostly thanks to the Superberry face oil. I totally encourage you, if you didn’t fall in love with this cleanser the first time to give this way a go. It’s makes a perfect first cleanse and may be able to help you extend this cleanser into your fall routine seamlessly 💛✨🌿 Any other YTTP hacks floating around that I should know about ? Comparing Sunday Riley & L’Oréal 🌙🌙
I’ve been a big fan of the Luna sleeping oil. I’ve used it for about a year and have loved it. It works really well and makes my skin glow BUT it’s very expensive. The small 0.5oz is $55 and the full size 1.18 oz is $105! That is super expensive and I didn’t want to be spending so much. I saw L’Oréal come out with a night serum with pure retinol. 1 oz is $36.99. It’s about a third of the price. Decided to get it and compare it to the Luna oil. L’Oréal: On first application it has a serum texture, very slick and soaks into the skin very quickly. This has no scent. Immediately after it soaks in quickly, my skin feels soft. I follow with moisturizer then eye cream. A week into using this and it feels fine. I haven’t seen a huge difference so far. I started using this every other day since the first 3 days of using this my cheeks would get slightly pink. A month of using this every day and I see a very subtle glow. After building up the tolerance of this retinol on my skin I no longer get the pink/red cheeks. My face looks smooth. This hasn’t irritated my skin at all which is a HUGE bonus for me. I’ve seen no bad reactions on my skin. The only thing that I wish it did have is a moisturizing affect. I’ve noticed that immediately after using the serum I have to follow with moisturizer because my skin has felt a little tight. Keep in mind that I have combination dry skin so if I felt a little tight after using the serum, that means that someone with really dry skin has to put moisturizer on quick. Besides that I’ve had no problems with this serum. L'ORÉAL - Revitalift Derm Intensives Night Serum With 0.3% Pure Retinol Sunday Riley: This oil feels really nice on the skin. On immediate application it’s blue but the more I blend into my skin (gently) it becomes transparent and has a slight scent. This smell goes away fairly quick, probably in 15 seconds or less. Since it’s in an oil I would’ve thought it would be slimy and well too oily for me but it’s not the case. You only need a few drops. This gives my skin a moisturizing affect which I love. My forehead is actually pretty oily and this didn’t make my forehead feel gross or make it break out! Using this for a while and I have seen this as a multiple use product. If my face is red or I have an irritation, this helps to get rid of it and helps calm my skin down. I haven’t had anything negative happen to my skin using this product! SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil At the end of using the L’Oréal retinol for a month I’ve got to say this is a pretty great serum. Just wished it gave my skin a bit more moisture, but it was not terrible in any way. This has given my skin a similar feeling to the Sunday Riley oil; in terms of smoothness, softness and helping to prevent dark spots on my face. I would definitely recommend you try this out if you don’t want to spend the whopping $105 for the full size Luna oil.

Dat skin care doe!
Last year (around late August) I was leaving for my first international trip! When I was to be there I was to start my period. Hormonal acne and dark circles has been a constant in my life. I was ready for a change. I’ve been taking pics throughout the journey and I am loving skin care life for once. What use to be a pain to do, is something I now whole heartily love. The pictures are from the start, 6 months, and last pic a full year from August. For some background, I’m oily, acne prone skin type with skin (when I was younger) that did not like to be tamed. I also have always had dark circles since I was a kid. I also now work nights so got to fight against that factor as well. All three pictures are taken when the hormonal acne was acting out. I’m constantly trying to tweak here and there to fit what is best for me. Granted, I guess that’s why they call it a journey! Morning routine: Rodan and Fields Spotless Acne Daily Face wash (I believe they are the original drs that came up with Proactive) THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% L’Oréal hyaluronic acid serum OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer TATCHA - The Water Cream Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Night routine includes the above as well as: Rodan and Fields Spotless second portion of the the Spotless line LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Every other day/when needed: GLAMGLOW - SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment Mask SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil Who knows, maybe this will help someone! Are you doing/using something you are loving too? Spread the knowledge and the love 😎

Is CBD skincare NBD?
I was a little skeptical about CBD/cannabis in skincare but all of my doubts have been sent away thanks to High Beauty’s High Five Moisturizer and Herbivore’s Emerald Oil. Both harness the skin-healthy benefits of cannabis, which is known to have a balancing effect on the skin. It’s also an effective ingredient for hydration, neutralizing redness, and soothing irritation. It even has its perks for acne-prone skin and by reducing oil and helping the skin even itself out. high - High Five Cannabis Seed Facial Moisturizer The High Five Moisturizer the highest level of Cannabis sativa seed oil and is loaded with antioxidants and fatty acids that promote a healthier complexion. It also contains honeysuckle, which boasts anti-bacterial properties and is great for preventing acne and breakouts. What I really about this moisturizer is its consistency; it’s thick but feels weightless on the skin and really locks in hydration. It never makes you look greasy or slick either. It also has a lovely scent and it’s such a treat to apply – plus it’s $40, which is affordable/doable compared to other formulas. HERBIVORE - Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil Herbivore’s Emerald Oil is realllllly great for dryness. In addition to replenishing the moisture levels, it also incredibly calming and even helps neutralize stress caused environmental factors. With any oil, it’s possible that they can clog pores, especially if you have acne-prone skin and I’ve found that I get little breakouts if I use it too frequently. I scale back to like 2-3 times a week and can’t use it every night.

Must have!!!
I’ve been wanting to try something from Blume for a while now- and this did not disappoint!! I absolutely am in love with this product. My acne has been pretty bad lately, around my chin and jawline. So, I’ve been looking for some new acne products to integrate into my routine. This does the job!!! I apply this oil at the end of my entire night routine (after moisturizer). And I focus putting it on areas where acne is at that time. Over night, it dries them up completely! If they’re little to begin with, they make them disappear. But, if they’re big, it dries them up and then they are gone within a another day/couple days of use. When I wake up my skin is still glowing and moisturized. If you don’t like an oily feeling in the morning, it may bother you, but it just washes off then! I definitely recommend this🤍🤍🤍🤍BLUME - Meltdown Oil for Acne-Prone Skin

Say bye to Acne!
I often deal with hormonal and random breakouts primarily on my forehead, nose and sometimes chin. I have tried so many products over the years to help get rid of acne and these 3 are THE BEST OF THE BEST. The PETER THOMAS ROTH - AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel I love applying all over my face right after cleansing and right before moisturizing. It’s a perfect mix of salicylic acid and glycolic acid. It gets rid of redness and dramatically gets rid of the bump of a pimple. The ROSEN SKINCARE - Break-Out is a perfect treatment to put on top right before bed, it has amazing ingredients and doesn’t dry out your skin. The pimple does flatten by the next morning and it’s almost ready to pop! I absolutely love the BLUME - Meltdown Oil for Acne-Prone Skin it’s perfect to mix into your moisturizer or just tap on top of a pimple. The next morning you won’t even remember you had a pimple. TRUST.

Vitamin C Oil 🍊
@biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil (PR $72) ⁣ ⁣ What is it? A hydrating vitamin C oil. ⁣ ⁣ It contains tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, squalane, and rosa damascena oil. ⁣ ⁣ My thoughts: I really enjoy the texture of this serum, it’s like a dry oil and it sinks into the skin quickly. It’s very hydrating, I do find that it helps brighten my complexion and it adds such a beautiful glow/radiance to the skin. I mix in a couple of drops into my moisturizer both morning and night. ⁣ ⁣ I do wish it didn’t contain rosa damascena oil or geraniol because they cause irritation and sensitivity to my skin barrier when used consistently. I love the packaging, but I also wish the glass was opaque to protect the integrity of the vitamin c. If you don’t have a sensitivity to these ingredients and don’t mind keeping it away from light/sun, I highly recommend this product! ⁣ ⁣ What’s your favorite vitamin c product?

Updated Skincare Routine
Hello y’all! If you saw my previous post, I thought I had find the PERFECT routine for my skin. Little did I know, my skin actually looked like sh*t AHAHA. Truth is, since I only attend zoom classes, I don’t wear my glasses anymore (I only used to wear then in class so I could see the board). As a result, I thought my skin was flawless until the other day, I put my glasses on for the first time in a while, only to notice how large my pores were, how much blackheads I had, and not to mention fine lines. 😫 Let me tell you, I finally fixed all of the problems mentioned above by elevating my skincare routine. I’m using all the products in the picture in this very specific order. This routine is perfect for treating adult acne, because the combination of all of these products provides enough moisture to prevent signs of age, but also contains ingredients that fight acne. 🥰 Also, shoutout to Glow Recipe Pore-tight Toner. I’ve been looking for a toner that is suitable for my sensitive acne-prone skin for years, and this is the one!!! It is non-drying, and actually does what it claims to: tighten pores!! As for Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Eye Cream, I had this as a Sephora sample, and so far, I love the texture, it does ease fine lines a little, but I can’t say it is worth the price. 😱 URIAGE - Xémose Cleansing Soothing Oil GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream The Ordinary - "B" Oil iS CLINICAL - Active Serum DR. AM SKINCARE ROUTINE✨
Hi guys! i’m back again to show you all my morning routine! i’ve been using my morning routine for awhile now and it’s been really good on my skin! Here’s the products!! THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash I commented on this product on my PM skin care routine and i just wanna do a little add on to what i’ve noticed. After washing my face with this, it does feel a bit dry after so keep that into consideration. TOWER 28 - SOS Save.Our.Skin Daily Rescue Facial Spray I’ve used this for awhile now and i’ve noticed absolutely nothing lmaoooo. i mean it’s a bit hydrating don’t get me wrong and it also didn’t irritate my skin which is good too but i didn’t notice anything if i’m being completely honest. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Multivitamin Booster I really like this serum! i usually use it by itself but you can also put it in your moisturizer for a good boost also. It is really hydrating and I’ve noticed that it helped some of my scaring since my skin gets all scabby and it helped smooth it out. Definitely would recommend if you have sensitive or dry skin!! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I also love this product a lot! my skin looks brighter and my acne looks a lot better when i use this product. My only problem is when i use this and i rub it in and it kinda makes this white foam on my face, maybe it’s my cleanser? i’m not sure but i do really love this. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Now i think this is my fav moisturizer ever. Trust me, I’ve tried so many moisturizer that just haven’t suited my skin, but this product really worked. It’s simple but effective, amazing texture, very moisturizing and i think good for all skin types. I will continue to purchase this product!!! The Ordinary - "B" Oil this product is also one of my favs!! i usually mix it into the moisturizer and it feels very nice on the skin! it also helped make my skin brighter and clear some of my acne scars!!! I also use this under makeup too for a nice deep natural look!! this is another product that i’ll repurchase again and again! I also use a stick sunscreen to protect my skin from the sun!! If you guys have any recommendations i will gladly consider!! Thank you✨✨✨

Easy 3-Step Morning Skincare Routine for a Busy Lifestyle
If I only have 1 hour to set up in the morning, I would decide to sleep more instead of having makeup. However, I still do a basic skincare routine every morning! Of course, it’s efficient and effective! I have combination skin and tend to be a little dryness in the winter. I normally use 3 or 4 items in the morning to get ready before makeup. From cleaning, face oil/serum to cream. From Aesop parsley seed facial cleanser, Josie Maran faces oil/ Jeunesse serum to Augustinus Bader the rich cream. Cleaning is always the most important part. The serum and lotion cannot be absorbed in the skin aren’t clean and clear. Aesop parsley seed cleanser includes arctic Acid, Blackcurrant Seed, and Jojoba oil. Lactic Acid gives mild exfoliation especially blended with Jojoba Oil for balancing. I choose this cleaning gel because this gel won’t give you dryness after washing the face. 2. JOSIE MARAN - 100% Pure Argan Oil Josie Maran’s argan oil is so famous even Kim Kardashian and Giselle Bouchon has publicly declared they are a fan of Josie Maran’s oil. There’s only ONE and organic ingredient in this bottle-Argan Oil. I like it as it’s a pure oil that works for winter dryness. Absorbed easily and fragrance-free are a good feature! 3. Polaar - Sérum Jeunesse I started to use Jeunesse serum from a friend’s recommendation. She fell and scratched her face. She used Jeunesse serum as the only applicable skincare product and recovered so well with no scar. Then she continued to use it as a daily serum. This experience strongly presents the renewal function of the serum. Then, I use it for a while and feel skin steady. 4. Augustinus Bader - The Rich Cream This cream is my new favorite product! According to Brand Augustinus Bader, their cream is composed of the TFC8 Trigger Factor Complex that activates the skin. I found Augustinus Bader in an article that mentioned Bobbi Brown recommends this skincare cream to her makeup clients. The price is not low-cost. Yet, pressed with one small bead can cover your whole face so one bottle can last pretty long. It’s a real bargain. This cream includes many kinds of oil that make it hydrating. I love it because it always leaves behind a dewy glow face! To sum up, Cleaning with Aesop parsley seed facial cleanser, then depends on the weather or skin condition to using Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil or Jeunesse serum, last but not least Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. Again, cleaning is a very important step. Make sure to well-wash your face to start a day!

SOFT HYDRATED SKIN
Y’all.... this product is so so so great!! I was so skeptical about it because it’s oil and I have oily skin so I was like ehhh:/ idk man. BUT I tried it and on the first try it was great on my skin. This 100% argan oil makes your skin feel SO hydrated, soft, radiant and supple!! The big bottle is a little bit on the pricey side not gonna lie. I currently have the mini size because I got it as a sample at sephora. Like I said I was skeptical about it at first so I did want to try the sample size to see if I would like it and after using it for a good week and a half I 100% do. Also, I got the sample size thinking that I would use it for my hair but I use it on my skin instead. After my skincare routine I apply this argan oil and it makes it so hydrated like I said before. The small size is 4.5 mL 0.15 fl.Oz so just know that if you will try a sample version of the product :). 🌟💗 Benefits Hydrated Skin Radiant Skin Reduces coarse lines and Wrinkles Soft Skin Organic Argan Oil Organic and Natural Ingredients Paraben Free Recyclable Gluten Free No synthetic fragrance Cruelty Free Vegan

Deep Hydration Face Oil w/ Avocado Oil
Deep Hydration Face Oil w/ Avocado Oil
#Illumine Lab - Deep Hydration Face Oil w/ Avocado Oil + Hyaluronic Acid[products]# I really enjoy using this oil. I know it’s for the face but I sometimes put it in my lotion to give my skin an extra boost of hydration for the day. It gives great moisture to the skin. I normally just use this in conjunction with my face moisturizing lotion. During the summer I use jus the oil by itself. For the price of $6 from TJ Maxx, this Face oil does wonders for my skin.

Face oil for acne!
Face oil for acne!
The product✨ The Fourth Ray Beauty after hours detox oil. This oil has a combination of bamboo charcoal, salicylic acid, tea tree, and watermelon seed to treat your skin as you sleep by absorbing impurities, and help nourish the skin, and support skin clarity. You warm a few drops in your palms and pat into the skin. This is a pretty lightweight-thin oil that absorbs quickly into the skin. ••• My thoughts✨ I’ve had this oil for a few months now, and I don’t hate it. Because I have oily skin I was quite apprehensive about adding an oil to my routine (even though I’ve heard countless people talk about how great they can be for oily skin), with that said the acne fighting ingredients included in this oil intrigued me. Despite the oil being black it leaves absolutely no residue. I do find I have to shake it up because what I assume is charcoal residue sinks to the bottom, so I shake it well before using. This oil comes in a half ounce bottle for $10 which I think I very reasonable especially because it’s lasts so long! Now I’m really not sure this product has done much for my skin, I like using because I do think it adds a little boost of hydration, but I don’t see any kind of improvement in my skin when I use this vs when I don’t use it, and I’ve tried using it as a spot treatment, but it didn’t do much to reduce any blemishes (maybe percentage of salicylic acid and tea tree aren’t high enough??)...overall I think It’s an okay product and I’ll continue using it until it’s gone but I probably won’t repurchase. I also don’t like the bottle, I prefer products with droppers but this one is kind of hard to get product out of, you have to kinda shake it and then sometimes too much will come out, and it’s annoying. ••• Fourth Ray - After Hours Detox Face Oil

Best facial oil ever!

Squalane with Rose Oil and Vitamin C! If this isn’t the dreamiest combination I don’t know what is! And can we please take a moment for this packaging 😭❤️. . I’ve been loving every bit of this since I got it! Biossance a green and clean skincare brand and this is yet another one of their products that is currently part of my morning and night routine. It contains sugarcane derived Squalane that helps hydrate the skin, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate- which is a stable, oil soluble vitamin C that helps brighten the skin and chios crystal oil which helps revitalize the skin and improve firmness. The consistency for this product is almost like a dry oil. The oil absorbs quickly and easily into the skin without feeling greasy. It’s hydrating but it doesn’t feel heavy and my makeup doesn’t slide around (like it usually does with other oils). I wear this under my sunblock and my primer in the mornings. At night I wear it in place of a moisturizer. It retails for $95 CAD and $72 USD and comes with 30ml of product. It’s available at Sephora and on Biossance’s website. She’s pricy but I only use 3-4 drops for my whole face and neck so it lasts a long time! This oil pretty much completes my skincare routine and I’ll probably keep repurchasing it for a long time!

In love with facial oils🍃

A couple of weeks ago I decided to look for a facial oil since I had heard that it helped with maintaining good hydration.🍃 I found this one from the Botanics brand, it says that it is 100% organic so I decided to buy it and start using it.🍃 After using it several times, my face started to look prettier, cleaner, softer and more hydrated. I love this product has given me good results, it has a very pleasant smell.🍃 I think that for a facial oil to really work you have to look for the one that suits your skin type, have good opinions and is of quality🍃 BOTANICS - 100% Organic Nourishing Facial Oil

GO-TO - Face Hero I first heard of GO-TO in March this year, which is amazing considering the amount of hype that surrounds this brand! My close friendship group has 9 people in it, and 8 of us have independently purchased this face oil - and all give it 5 stars. I’ve heard amazing things about this face oil from every skin type, except for one person who has extremely oily skin (a “regular” oily-skin person has said it has worked well for them). THE PACKAGING - it comes in the cutest peach-coloured box and bottle, and the product is easy to dispense through the glass dropper. The only improvement I would love to see is a glass bottle in the future (for environmental reasons). THE SCENT - a very subtle sweet scent that hasn’t caused me any irritation. Apparently it smells like roses but I can’t pick it up. THE APPLICATION - apply 2-4 drops into the palm of your hand, then gently rub into your face, neck and décolletage. Can be used at morning and night. THE RESULTS - my skin definitely appears brighter, and multiple people have mentioned that they see the same results. THE PRICE - it’s pretty good value compared to many other face oils out there. It’s 30mL which is a pretty standard size, but depending on how many drops/how often you use it, it can go down pretty quickly. If you’re using 4 drops twice a day, I feel like it would last about 3 months. I recently started using 2 drops once a day to slow down my usage (but I’m probably going through it a lot faster because my boyfriend loves the stuff). OVERALL - i’m extremely happy with this product. My skin remains hydrated throughout the day, the bottle looks amazing in my bathroom, and it’s pretty decent value for money depending on how much product you use per application. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone!
