There is something so light and necessary about a no-makeup makeup routine. I'd even say that every beauty lover should have one in their arsenal; for the days you don't want to get fully ready but still feel good. If you aren't heavily into makeup, then a no-makeup makeup routine might just be your full face. Looking to build your no-makeup makeup routine? These are the building blocks for the perfect 5-minute face! A tinted moisturizer - bonus points if it's a tinted SPF!

First thing's first: a tinted moisturizer is the cornerstone of any 5-minute face. To simplify your steps, go for one with SPF and save yourself an extra step! I'm currently loving Colorescience's Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield in Glow as my final skincare step and first no-makeup makeup step. The tint is light and gives your skin a beautiful glow without looking thick. It's also SPF 50—major bonus! A light, natural-looking blush

Espressoh's Blush by the Glass looks clear but goes on pink!
A little color on the cheeks gives your face dimension and glow in just a few easy dabs! I'm absolutely in love with Espressoh's Blush by the Glass; a clear, gloss-like product that turns into your perfect pink upon application to the skin. It looks incredible and the gloss-effect gives your complexion that extra 'oopmh'.A defining mascaraA lightweight, defining mascara is the perfect way to dress your lashes for a no-makeup makeup look. Opt for something long-wearing and smudge free, like Kosas's newest mascara, The Big Clean. It has a curved brush with thin bristles to help really define your lashes and the wear on this one is amazing! A juicy lip oilWhat is a no-makeup makeup look without the perfect lip? Because a 5-minute face is all about products that do more than they should, a lip oil is the perfect option for this look. Nourish your lips, give it a hint of color and shine, and bam! You're ready to take on the day.

A simple highlight balmThis last one is optional but I absolutely love adding an extra bit of shimmer on my cheekbones for my 5-minute face.

Self-Care Sunday!
Self-Care Sunday!
Hey everyone! Here’s a little throwback to my #selfcaresunday I just had this past weekend. Lately I’ve been super busy and haven’t had a lot of time to decompress and give my self some alone time. A lot has been going on and I’ve been struggling mentally and physically. I have had to spread myself pretty thin with all the work on my plate as well as being a support system to my family. And guess what, my skin is taking a big hit. And by “big hit” I mean pimples, everywhere! I’m breaking out like never before. The stress, anxiety, and self esteem issues have been piling up and I haven’t been handling all the pressure very well. I decided while I can’t just give up on my responsibilities, a little spa treatment would probably do me some good. And for $30 dollars it was worth it. I treated myself to this fun and classy manicure. Even though it wasn’t the full day to myself, sometimes even an hour can go a long way. Remember to take care of yourselves. Just because you might not be where you want to be, doesn’t mean you have to settle for anything less than what you need. We all need a little tlc sometimes. 💕💖

Ever since I’ve added these two new products, I’ve noticed a couple new breakouts in places i’ve never experienced!!! They are red painful pimples too. Two on my forehead (I never get them there) , one on the outside of my nostril (i never get them there either), and the weirdest singular pimple on my NECK! Both of these products I have used on my face and neck, however, I’m not sure what product or ingredient is causing the sudden breakout!! Or is it just purging??? Help!!!!!! Did anyone else experience this with these products??? COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel

HOW TO ROUND 2: EASIEST INTENSE WING LINER
Why hello there! I’m continuing on my how to tutorials. I really like this series breaking down all makeup trends and putting up how to tutorials for all makeup artist levels for makeup trends. Continuing on the wing liner, I used a liquid liner for my wing tutorial which is what I normally do. But liquid liners are not very beginner friendly. So this tutorial will teach you how to create an intense wing liner using a matte black eyeshadow. So check out the tutorial above to see how I achieve a wing liner using eyeshadow. Next tutorial will be the last of the wing liners. What it means to blowdry down the hair cuticle!
What it means to blowdry down the hair cuticle!
Let’s simplify what it means when a hairstylist says to blow dry down the hair cuticle: When you think of your hair, think of the shingles on a roof. They’re all laying down but on top of each other. The cuticle of our hair is doing the same! When we blow dry up or at the hair cuticle, it causes all those little shingles to stand up- causing frizz, loss of moisture, and hair damage. When we blow dry down the hair cuticle, all the shingles can lay flat against each other and be the protective barrier that they’re supposed to be. If you’re having trouble with extra frizz or loss of moisture pay attention to the direction that your blow drying. This could make all the difference!
