Hey everyone! Here’s a little throwback to my #selfcaresunday I just had this past weekend. Lately I’ve been super busy and haven’t had a lot of time to decompress and give my self some alone time. A lot has been going on and I’ve been struggling mentally and physically. I have had to spread myself pretty thin with all the work on my plate as well as being a support system to my family. And guess what, my skin is taking a big hit. And by “big hit” I mean pimples, everywhere! I’m breaking out like never before. The stress, anxiety, and self esteem issues have been piling up and I haven’t been handling all the pressure very well. I decided while I can’t just give up on my responsibilities, a little spa treatment would probably do me some good. And for $30 dollars it was worth it. I treated myself to this fun and classy manicure. Even though it wasn’t the full day to myself, sometimes even an hour can go a long way. Remember to take care of yourselves. Just because you might not be where you want to be, doesn’t mean you have to settle for anything less than what you need. We all need a little tlc sometimes. 💕💖

Ever since I’ve added these two new products, I’ve noticed a couple new breakouts in places i’ve never experienced!!! They are red painful pimples too. Two on my forehead (I never get them there) , one on the outside of my nostril (i never get them there either), and the weirdest singular pimple on my NECK! Both of these products I have used on my face and neck, however, I’m not sure what product or ingredient is causing the sudden breakout!! Or is it just purging??? Help!!!!!! Continuing on the wing liner, I used a liquid liner for my wing tutorial which is what I normally do. But liquid liners are not very beginner friendly. Let’s simplify what it means when a hairstylist says to blow dry down the hair cuticle: When you think of your hair, think of the shingles on a roof. They’re all laying down but on top of each other. The cuticle of our hair is doing the same! When we blow dry up or at the hair cuticle, it causes all those little shingles to stand up- causing frizz, loss of moisture, and hair damage. When we blow dry down the hair cuticle, all the shingles can lay flat against each other and be the protective barrier that they’re supposed to be. If you’re having trouble with extra frizz or loss of moisture pay attention to the direction that your blow drying. This could make all the difference!
